On 25 June 1950, North Korea forces launched a surprise invasion on South Korea under the
command of Kim Il sung and the North Korean People s Army. During this time, the North Korean
People s Army forced through the 38th parallel and pushed through the unprepared Republic of Korea
forces to the Southeast Pusan peninsula. The approximately 125 mile defensive perimeter was where
United Nation forces withdrew to by August, 1950 and held that Southeast position of the peninsula.
While UN forces were outnumbered, commanders were in search for a new course of action that
would help skew the war in favor of them. It was then General of the Army Douglas MacArthur first
envisioned his plan for what would become the Battle of Inchon. Inchon is located in the
Northwestern corner of modern South Korea and was a key location for the North Korean forces.
Inchon, located just 25 miles west of the nation s capital, Seoul, was a key location for North Korean
resupplies . Friendly intelligence and air reconnaissance observed that there were two major supply
lines that were along the two major highways coming from both the northeast and northwest. It was

a music dataset from lastfm and the designs for MongoDB, HBase and Neo4j are based on the dataset

has brought together the artwork of four artists. She has chosen; Julie Peppito, Gerry Trilling, Garry

I found it to the most accessible of all of Julie s collection because of its simplicity compared to her
other works. It is quite small, about the size of a computer screen. The background is made of a grey
piece of material with a smaller cream piece of embroidery fabric in the centre. The aspect of this
piece which draws your eye in is the red string which is looped between the two fabrics, linking them
together. The red string merges with a shiny, light blue, rounded bag shaped piece of material with a
delicate yellow thread flower at its base. This then takes your eye onto the embroidered woman who
seems to be carrying a basket of flower and wearing a blue hat and dress. Above her is a light blue
flower with a diagram f planet earth in the centre where the seeds are supposed to be. The embroidery
transforms into the bottom and right side of the page through pencil lines. To the right of the woman is
an oval shaped white piece of cloth with and multi coloured boarder. Below the woman the pencil
lines create what seems to be legs and then transforms into pipes holding a dog. The shading of the
pencil decreases as the drawing moves down the page and becomes more of an outline. The
contrasting colours of red and blue superimposed on the plain background makes each element of her
composition stand out even more.

Policy implementation is the application of the policy by the government s administrative machinery
(Anderson, 2011, 4). Policy implementation is different from agenda setting and policy formulation.
Policy implementation deals with applying the government s policy into effect to the problem that it is
trying to solve. While the first part of the policy process, agenda setting, is deals more with trying to
get the government to consider action on the problem you are addressing. After the government has
considered a course of action to fix or alieve the problem, policy formulation comes next. The second
part of the policy process, policy formulation, deals with proposing a certain solution to the problem.
In most cases, the person, group or organization that identifies the problems, also recommends a
solution to the problem.
No action is needed when dealing with self executing, while other forms of policy require decision
making and alterations. A complex array of administrative agencies also known as bureaucracies
(Anderson, 2011, 232) participate in policy implementation. Since bureaucratic agencies participate in
policy implementation, the agencies major role is to implement public policy. Actionable action must
be taken. The formula for knowing who participates in policy implementation is quite simple. It is in

1 Internal Rivalry (Strong Force)
There are many sellers in the market heating up pricing competition. Competitors like McDonald s,
Dunkin Donuts, Peet s Coffee and other specialty coffee companies incentivize price wars.
Furthermore, coffee s demand is elastic which makes it difficult to increase prices without greatly
reducing the demand. This makes differentiation and positioning very important. Also, it is easy for
customers to switch from coffee vendors. Whichever company is most convenient for the customer
will likely win the business. Competition is a top priority in the industry.
2 Entry (Moderate force)
Entrants erode the market and rarely grow it enough to the incumbent s advantage. New entrants have
an impact on the industry business but at a moderate level. This is mainly because new firms will find
it difficult to compete against the incumbents strong brand, like Starbucks and McDonalds, and
because the market is saturated. However, the costs of entry are relatively low. Most of the raw
materials are cheap and the distribution chain is not complicated. This makes it easy for new
companies to enter the market. Also, established companies might leverage their brands as they enter
the industry to compete against the incumbents.

reaction from the audience will make them feel more uneasy.
Presenters who memorize their presentation avoid eye contact because they don t like to see any
negative expressions from the audience that might make them lose focus and forget what they are

For this section of his book, the author decides to interview Louis S. Lapides. Pastor Lapides is a
Jewish man who believes in Jesus and his status as the Messiah. In his interview with Strobel, Lapides
mentions on several occasions his original beliefs in a conservative Jewish Synagogue. He references
the fact that the notion of Jesus as the Messiah was rarely spoken of in complementary ways. The
view of Christianity that Lapides was introduced as a young man was different than the one that the
Christians lived by. Pastor Lapides left the Jewish religion after several incidents in his personal life
such as his parents divorce or his time spent as a soldier during the Vietnam War. Throughout the
chapter, the reader can see the struggles that Louis Lapides went though during his spiritual journey.
This is perhaps a reason for Strobel s choice of interviewees because of the lack of bias that he has on
the subject of Jesus as the Messiah. Because he was not brought up in an environment that forced
certain ideals upon him, Lapides is not tainted by naïve thoughts that are in the minds of certain
Christians when it comes to the acceptance of Jesus as the Messiah. He was able to build his own
