2. India gate
► All india war memorial known as India Gate
which is located near Kartavya Path of New
Delhi. It’s a memorial to 84000 Indian army
soldiers who martyr between 1914 and 1921 in
the first world war, in France, Persia, East Africa
and elsewhere near, far East and the third Anglo-
Afghan war. Here 13300 names are inscribed on
the gate which inclued servicemen’s, some
soldiers and officers from United Kingdom.
23 January 2022, A statue of Shubhash Chandra
Bose Ji was inaugurated with a height of 28 feet
and width of feet, 3D Holographic statue. This
day is celebrated as “Parakram Diwas”.
3. Red Fort
► In 1638, when Shah Jahan transferred his capital from
agra to delhi he inducted the construction of
Shahjahanabad, after it on April 16,1639, he also placed
the establishment of his castel or Red Fort. It was
completed on april 16,1648. According to ASI the entire
fort is said to have cost about one crore rupees.
Red Fort, The fot scale about 900m long and 550m wide,
with its security walls covers a perimeter of 2.41km and
rises to a height of 33.5m on the side of town and 18m
along the river. Outside the security walls around a riffle
which is originally connected with the river. The fort is
connected by a bridge with Salimgarh from the north of
fort.
Outside of the fort, the delhi gate is flanked by the two
statues of Elephants which were renewed in 1903 by Lord
Curzon.
In 2007 , the red fort was declared as the UNESCO world
heritage site.
4. Qutub Minar
► Qutub Minar also spelled as Qutb Minar and Qutab
Minar,’The Victory Tower’ and a Minaret. Qutub
minar is near to the Lal Kot, delhi’s oldest strenuous
city, founded by Tomar Rajputs. The Victory tower
forms part of qutub complex, which lies at the site
of Lal kot. It is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its
one of the most visited tourist spot in Delhi, BHARAT.
Its construction started in 1199 by qutu-b-din-aibak
and was completed in 1220 by his son-in-law
iltutmish. Its height is 72.5 Metres i.e: 238 feet.
► In September 2023,the monument was lighten in
the color of Mexican flag to celebrate Mexico’s
213th independence day, the event was
appreciated by the embassy of Mexico in BHARAT.
5. Chhatarpur
Temple
► It is a pure and selfless foundation with highly

The official name of this temple is “Shri Aadya
Katyayani Shakti Peetham”. The temple is spread
over a area of 60 acres and was instituted by
Baba Sant Nagpal Ji in1974.Nagpal ji died
in 1998. His cenotaph lies in outskirts of the
Shiv-Gauri Nageshwar Mandir within the temple
complex.
6. Shri Hanuman
Temple
► The hanuman Temple, is one of an ancient Hindu Temple in
Cannaught Place, New delhi. It is also Claimed to be one of
the five temples of the time of Mahabhart. This Temple has
self evident idol of Shri Hanuman, it has strange feature fixed
in the pinnacle in the aspect of Demilune moon. The Idol is
worshipped as “Shri Hanuman Ji Maharaj”. It is also believed,
during the time of Mughal Shri Tulsidas Ji came to visit Delhi
and was convened by Mughal Emperor Akbar and asked to
perform a miracle,then Tulsidas ji did it with the blessings of
Lord Hanuman. The emperor was shocked and pleased with
great Tulsidas ji and presented Shri hanuman ji temple with
an Islamic Demilune moon which is laced on the Temple
Pinnacle.
