THE VALUE OF MY NETWORK By William Stewart
Honest view of my network In taking an honest view of my network, I have realised that I have a powerful networking tool that I am not investing in. I am not utilising the opportunities I have already in place. I am surrounded by connections I currently don't see as being relevant.  Delay
Picture paints a thousand words Delay
Given this is my own personal network it raises the question. Q: Why in my personal network is 60% not relevant to me? Delay
The Answer A: I am not engaging with my contacts, so much of my relationship with this part of my network is not there. Many are school friends, brief acquaintances etc.. delay
Maybe my questions should be Do I share interests with this part of my network? Where do they work? Can we do business together? Can we help each other or could they help someone else in my network? Delay
The Goal MAKE MY NETWORK RESOURCES COUNT! MAKE MY NETWORK RELEVANT TO ME!
To get a network that is more like this: Delay
DONT TRY AND SELL... TALK...  LISTEN... ENGAGE... delay
What to do ENGAGE WITH PEOPLE BUILD REAL RELATIONSHIPS OFFER TO HELP, SHARE CONTACTS, & LEAVE POSITIVE LASTING IMPRESSIONS delay
