The imbalance of trace elements was shown is involved in many disorders, such as Gout. Sixty
four elements were measured in the serum samples of Gout patients with in three regionally and
healthy control group by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP MS). An elemental
profile of Gout notably altered Al, Li, Ti, Se, Fe, Cu, Sr, Ta, Hg, U, Th, and Bi. An independent
group of 39 gout patients and 13 healthy controls was further used to confirm the elemental
analysis, yielding a sensitivity of 1.00 and a specificity of 1.00 for Gout forecast. A good link was
also observed between Li, Zn, and Cu and further two risk aspects, age and serum urate

there must be stronger regulations regarding firearm sales in this country. IV. Policy Description
S. 436 (2011), otherwise known as the Fix Gun Checks Act of 2011 is a bill that was proposed by

To ensure that all individuals who should be prohibited from buying a firearms are listed in the
national criminal background check system and require a background check for every firearm sale

Tuck Northrop Leadership
Tuck Northrop should receive the Beard Award because I truly cannot think of a person who is
as caring and kind as he is and also excels in so many areas. I m a junior at Fairfield Ludlowe
High School, and though Tuck is not one of my academic teachers, he coaches me in both the fall
and spring on our high schoolsailing team.
Though I was only a freshman and had not experienced the team pre Tuck, everything I had
heard of the past years was only negative. But from the second Tuck arrived as our coach, the
team has been on a continuous incline to some of the best years that the Fairfield Sailing Team

There is not a single coach out there who cares about his sailors more than Tuck. I have been on
many teams in the past, and not one coach dedicates as much time or care into the team as Tuck
does. In the three years that he has been our coach so far, we have greatly increased our team
building activities off the water, which has ultimately made the team stronger than ever in its
overall chemistry, disregarding just our skills and knowledge of the sport. Tuck also knows
each of the team members very well individually, which allows him to pick the best team
pairings and also teach us based on our individual personalities, goals, and weaknesses. He wants
each one of us to succeed more than anyone I know, and is willing to do everything he possibly
can in order to help us on our own personal paths to success in sailing, academics, or more. I have
no doubt that Tuck knows each of his students just as well in the classroom as he does on our team,

statement is a signal of safety for closing the patient s operative site. The occurrence of a retained
surgical item (RSI) was the most frequently reported sentinel event from 2010 through 2012 and
again in 2014 (The Joint Commission [TJC], 2012, 2014). Counting of surgical items is necessary
to provide protection and safety of the patient. One of the highest priorities for the OR nurse is
assuring the final countof items used in the surgical procedure is accurate. Risk factors for RSIs
are greater with varying situations and barriers which often lead to inaccurate counts. Because
RSIs can lead to death, the Institute of Medicine produced a report in 1999 that was an ethical
call to arms for never events (Stawicki S. P. et al, 2013). At this time the institute challenged all
facilities to establish safety guidelines to help minimize complications that were deemed

There is not research found on how the gene affects the goats, and there milk. The only information

One of the major problems that we are facing in the world are hate crimes. Despite this being a
major issues, there appears to be no solution in sight to put a stop to hate crimes. For this paper I
chose to focus on hate crimes I can gain more knowledge about this topic and because it s
something that I have personally experienced. Throughout U.S. history, a significant proportion of
all murders, assaults, and acts of vandalism have been fueled by hatred. As Native Americans have
been described as the first hate crime victims, members of all immigrant groups have been subjected
to discrimination, harassment, and violence.
When people think of hate crimes they often mention the KKK and African Americans or Hitler
and Jewish people. To be exact, a hate crime is known to us a bias motivated crime which is
usually motivated by race, religion, sexuality etc that typically involves violent acts. There are

Throughout this paper I will focus on data from the United Kingdom and America and focus solely
on the disadvantages that ethnic minority groups endure which effect their health status. In doing
this, I will highlight several explanations put forth by social scientists, such as cultural,
socioeconomic and racial approaches whilst incorporating different literature, such as the works of
Bartley (2004), Nettleton (2013) and Nazroo (1997). Before exploring the many explanations that
social scientists offer to explain the ethnic differences in health status, it is important to
acknowledge that gathering data on racial or ethnic minorities is extremely problematic. This is

Sociologist define race as a socially defined category based on real or percived biological
