8. Wire Fraud
Email Red Flags
• Incorrect spelling and/or grammar
• Email addresses slightly different
• Embedded email addresses (shows name
but have to click on it to see the email address)
• Beneficiary on “new” wiring
instructions does not match the
proper party
8
9. Wire Fraud
Timing
• Last minute changes to wires
especially on Fridays or days before
holidays
• Fraudster entices parties not to check
for disbursed funds right away
• They often want you to act with a
sense of urgency
9
10. Wire Fraud Tips
Email
• The person asks for personal information
or passwords (Legitimate companies are not likely
to ask for personal information through email)
• Never except wire changes via email!!!
Contact the sender at a valid number (not
the number on the suspicious email)
10
11. Wire Fraud Tips
Phone
• If you should receive a phone call requesting wire changes, DO
NOT assume it is the actual person
• Inform the caller that you will call them back
• Contact the caller at a verifiable number you have for them

Nobody notices normal.
Satisfied is code for ordinary
and organizations chase it like
gold. Instead, you want
enthusiastic ambassadors for
your brand and that only
happens with extraordinary
customer service.
- Kevin Brown

When you look in the
mirror, do you see
yourself or do you see
the people who helped
you become you? We
are the sum and the
byproduct of all the
people who have passed
into (or out of) our lives.
- Kevin Brown

The kids in my neighborhood
lived for the day when someone
bought a refrigerator. Jackpot!
Inside the box, time stood still.
We’d color on the box, splashing
brilliance across the cardboard
canvas. Then we grow up and a
box no longer stands for
imagination, it stands for
conformity.
27. 27
Today, we are drawn to certain
people because they never lost
their ability to decorate the box.
They still splash their unique
brilliance on it every day. That’s
why, to us, their approach to life
and what they do for a living looks
different – because
fundamentally, it is.
- Kevin Brown
28. 28
There are only two times when people talk
about you: when you exceed expectations or
miss them completely. We’ll pay a premium
for people who reach beyond the
requirements and achieve something
remarkable. Ordinary has become
commoditized. It’s what some
people wrongly compete with
others to achieve.
- Kevin Brown
29. 29
Heroes are not ordinary
people who do extraordinary
things. I don’t think there’s
a person in this room doing
ordinary things. The true
definition of a hero is
extraordinary people who
choose not to be ordinary.
