The book Crank sure of course does have a lot of poor judgement in it, but I think it could be a great
book for a kid around my age to sit down and read. When I first picked up the book and started to read
to read it I never thought I would end on the mind frame that I did. It for sure is a long book, and does
contain some graphic material, but it is for sure worth reading in my opinion, and I think you should
definitely keep this book, for all you know, it could be the best book a kid has ever picked up and
read, I know it was for me.
One of the main reasons I m sure you want to ban this book is because of the profanity used in it. Yes,
there is a lot of foul language use in this book, but when you think about it kids are used to hearing
people cuss, and reading it is a lot less worse than hearing them or saying them in my opinion. The

Poison Ivy by Sydney J. Tanner When I was 19, I was attending Utah State University, in Logan Utah.
I lived in a beautiful canyon in the mountains and went hiking and camping a lot. One camping trip,
being a bit naive and inexperienced I wiped with the nearest green leaf I could find. What followed
was an excruciating lesson never to be forgotten. Not being from Utah, I had never seen or been
around poison ivy before. Later that fall, I was on a committee decorating for an autumn formal dance.
I gathered interesting and colorful vines and weeds to make thirteen large wreaths for the walls. After I
hung the last wreath for the dance that evening, I realized something dreadful. Gee, poison ivy

embarrassing story with you for a reason. Some people still don t know what poison ivy looks like.
When I tell this story, I get to hear other people s awkward tales of adventure in the ivy. They range

In any generation, from the Greatest Generation to Generation Alpha, you have your outdoorsy
people, your video gamers, your pushovers, your leaders, your cooks and the people who can t even
make microwave popcorn. While certain things are supposed to affect a generation s behavior, some
will affect certain people and other s won t. Just like we all have a different code of DNA, different
fingerprints or hairs on our heads, our personalities also differ. Maybe some people from Generation Z
will fall apart without their devices, but others could care less about modern technology. One cannot

Whether any group of people is thought of as deadbeats or not, humans were made to succeed. I
choose to believe that we are all capable of surviving with a group of other people and Generation Z is
included in that. We are everything, from leaders to slackers. We may be hopeless in some areas, but
no one is completely useless and everyone has something to contribute. With the right motivation,

Founding Brothers By Joseph J. Ellis
In the book Founding Brothers by Joseph J. Ellis, he explores the challenges faced by the Founding
Fathers in a series of 6 defining events as they formed a new government for the U.S. after the
revolution. Focusing on the more important figures from the revolutionary era, who he calls Founding
Brothers , a slight change from the original Founding Fathers . They are as follows: George
Washington, John and Abigale Adams, James Madison, Thomas Jefferson, Arron Burr, Alexander
Hamilton, and Benjamin Franklin. In this book there s 7 sections, each showing a different problem,
which Ellis tries to explain in a neutral perspective using both foresight and hindsight. He tries to
show the sense of urgency of the issues faced while providing a better perspective using the centuries
of hindsight acquired. He tries to focus on the different relationships the men had and how they were
influenced by the events and each other during this very formative chapter of the country. Founding
Brothers is a non fiction novel in which Ellis attempts to focus on the highlighted events in both post
revolutionary times and the lives of the Founding Fathers. He attempts to address each specific
relationship and how they were impacted by the harsh times in which they lived. The 7 sections in the
book allows deeper hindsight and foresight into specific matters so we may better understand the
