Personality And Gender Essay
Personality, Gender and their Relationship in a Kinesiology Program A person can be defined in many
ways: sex, age, hair colour, weight, and most importantly personality. The personality of a person can
be a determining factor of many areas of a person s life. Personality can be a predictor of whether a
person likes or dislikes sports, how much schooling there will go through and what occupation a
person may chose. There are many aspects to a person s personality and there are an numerous ways
to determine a person s personality. One of the ways to determine an individual s personality is by
using The Big Five Model, which began with the research of D.W Fiske (1949) followed by a
numerous amount of other researchers: Norman (1967), Smith ... Show more content on

There have been many studies that have supported the hypothesis of the connection between the two.
Including one study that suggested that one can determine vocational interests by using different
personality tools and these ...alternative factors may provide direct indicators of individual s

study that was preformed was one in which researchers attempted ...to examine the prediction of
career indecision using personality and vocational interests (Burns, Morris, Rousseau Taylor,2013
p.1). Additionally, the personality of a person literally affects every decision an individual makes and
there have been many studies that support theories similar to this. For example, personality and gender
can be used to predict grades, among other things, for first year post secondary students. There is a
relationship between a few personality traits and the quality of effort put forth by a first year post
secondary student. A personality trait like extroversion is significantly related to effort given by the
student in social and academic activities and males are less agreeable than woman (Bauer Liang, 2003,

custody arises and things can get out of hand, but in this case, I feel he went a little overboard only
thinking about himself and not considering the consequences this all had on his ex wife and minor
child. He was definitely unprofessional and even one of the judges said if someone asks me what
vexatious litigation looks like, the former husband s various filings in this divorce case, especially his
antics in these post judgment proceedings, are an excellent example (Judge Farmer, 1997). Judges and
lawyers have a higher standard to go by, if this type of action is not tolerated when representing a
client, then it definitely should not be tolerated by a lawyer in his own case.

Mahan s Influence On Alfred Maan
Alfred Mahan is a graduate from Naval Academy, whose thoughts have major impacts on the structure
of the Navy in 19th century. The influence of historical events have a particular effect in his naval
strategy.
In his new science of naval strategy, Mahan gave quite an importance to Naval communications, and
control of these communications. He even contends that interrupting adversaries communications is
the root of national power. He contends that the strategic points of high importance
In addition to that, Mahan contended that the organized forces of the enemy should be the primary
objective, and the mission to go against these navies could be achieved by being a sea power.
According to him, war was not fighting but business, and in this ... Show more content on

Mahan contended the necessity of focusing the fleet in particular points to confront the enemy
strongly, instead of doing commerce raiding. This new system was the main reason of creation of
many battle ships. As the US was a maritime country, the creation of extra number of ships should not
be into disadvantage to a country surrounded by waters.
As Mahan contended, there was supposed to be sufficient battleships for the protection of three waters
surrounding the country, after that, it was time to spread the sea power to all around the world by
bringing together the land forces with maritime foces. In other words, Mahan created the idea of
having soldiers ready for the interest of the nation all around the world, which is still being used by
the Navy and Marine corps.
And finally, in the writing, it is criticized that the new ideas of Mahan caused problems in the
organization of the Navy, which later caused the Navy to have structural changes. This point should be
considered as another improvement from the new navy strategy of Mahan since a new system brings
together new improvements, but gradually.
All in all, Mahan was a leader of development, and no one can argue that the US Navy is still using
the inheritances from Mahan in terms of naval

First Person Narration In The Stranger By Albert Camus
Through thoughts and conversation, one can learn a great deal about the ideals and opinions of a
person. This is also the case in literature, as authors may write in first person to allow the reader to
receive a better idea of who the main character is and what they stand for. Authors can also use such a
strategy to express their personal opinions on a topic in the text through the thoughts and actions of
their main character. Such is the case of Albert Camus and his main character in The Stranger,
Meursault. Through first person narration, Camus is able to use Meursault as a vehicle to bring focus
to religious systems in the 1940s Algerian society depicted in the novel. Two of the ways in which the
reader can see Camus views on religion in his novel is through Meursault s interactions with other
characters and through the personal thoughts of Meursault. One way in which Camus uses first person
narration to bring focus to religious systems and constructs in the 1940s Algerian society presented in
The Stranger is through Meursault s interactions with other characters on the premise of religion.

a tool to help in juxtaposing Meursault against the norms in society, especially religious norms in the

reader, Camus is able to focus on a variety of absurdities present in the religious systems and
constructs of Algeria in the 1940s. Such absurdities including the strict observance of the Sabbath by
the Christian faith, the large role emotion plays in religion, and the necessity of one to belong to a

Nuclear Waste In Australia Essay
The overarching question of, Should Nuclear Waste be Disposed of in South Australia? will be
answered in this outcome. Nuclear waste is material that has been used in a nuclear reactor. It looks
exactly the same on the outside, as it did when it went into the reactor (see Figure 1). Once nuclear
fission has taken place inside the reactor to make electricity, the Uranium breaks into many unstable
isotopes. These isotopes will remain radioactive for thousands of years. Hence, the need for more
nuclear waste storage facilities. A storage facility in South Australia would be geographically perfect
and hold low level (plastic), intermediate (see Figure 2) and high level waste, like spent uranium fuel
cells. The answer will be supported and derived from multiple sources, including; my survey data,
expert reports, statistics, graphs and tables.
Overall Question Should Nuclear Waste be Disposed of in South Australia?
According to public voting records, two thirds of South Australian citizens, are against the proposal of
a nuclear waste plant. This was similar to the results gained from the survey, since 82% of the
respondents were against. Despite these statistics, the positives of a nuclear waste plant in South
Australia, far outweigh ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
However, even if the South Australian Government could convince the voting public, the plan would
require federal approval and changes to the law. This decision will affect numerous generations to

right decision is made. Humanity is stuck with nuclear waste, so let s make the best of a bad

Genome engineering using the CRISPR Cas9 system
Matei Agavriloaei 120004682

ABSTRACT:
Modified nucleases have been used for years in order to achieve successful genome editing and are
nowadays an almost universally used method. RNA guided nucleases (such as Cas9) with easily
changeable characteristics have been generated in great numbers especially since the emergence of
clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeats (CRISPR). This represents the most modern
tool that can be used by scientists for genome editing. This technology can bring a broad range of
medical benefits and advancements (1).
CRISPR Cas systems:
CRISPRs are DNA loci that include ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Cas genes code for proteins related to CRISPRs. This association is a prokaryotic immune system.
CRISPR spacers recognize and cut the foreign DNA material, just as RNAi does in eukaryotic
organisms (2).
In 2013, this system started being used (and is still widely used today) for adding and changing
sequences of targeted genes (4), process also known as genome editing. The genome can be cut any
location by guiding properly RNAs into a cell and also delivering Cas9 protein. In theory, it could be
possible to build RNA guided gene drives with the use of CRISPR to alter the genetic code of entire
populations (5).
CRISPR RNA (crRNA) and Cas proteins come together and form CRISPR ribonucleic proteins
(crRNPs) for appropriate targeting and cleaving of the foreign nucleic acid (3).
Due to the accelerate evolution of the immune system, the CRISPR Cas systems are highly diverse
and have been catalogued into three main types, each of them having a specific Cas protein. Type I
and III and related and contain Cas3 nuclease helicase and Cas10 (a protein with an unknown
function) respectively. Type II is phylogenetically different and is represented by the Cas9 nuclease.
Type II has three different subunits (A, B and C) and their crRNPs are all known as Cas9 complexes.
They are restricted only to bacteria, not being in present in archaea as well (3).

Death Of Innocence By Mamie Till- Mobley
Death of Innocence is a non fictional novel written by Mamie Till Mobley about the tragedy of her son
s brutal murder. Emmett Louis Till was born on July 25, 1941 to parents Louis Till, and Mamie Till
Mobley, Emmett was born breeched, and was going to endure multiple health complications in his
short fourteen years. Emmett wanted to visit family in Mississippi although Mama and Mamie were
very hesitant. They tried to educate Emmett the dangers of a black person in the South. Emmett was
born in Chicago, and was not aware of the type of racism blacks endured in the South. Unfortunately,
due to Emmett s heath complications when he started to stutter Emmett would whistle. A black male
whistling at a white woman during this time of age was prohibited. Mamie educated Emmett before he
left that he should not even walk on the same side of the street as a white woman. Emmett apparently
whistled at a white woman while in a store. This led to white racists kidnapping him in the middle of
the night and inhumanly murdered Emmett on August 28, 1955. Mamie chose to have an open casket
funeral for Emmett. Though it was hard for her to turn her privacy of grieving the loss of her son, she
chose to turn this into a public issue. She became an activist for the black community and educated
children and churches on lynches. Emmett s death led to America s civil rights movement. Growing

An Argument Against Auteur Theory.
Auteurism: A Disease of Greatness.
The term Auteur seems to bless a privileged group of filmmakers with an almost messiah like legacy.
Men such as Alfred Hitchcock, John Ford and Fritz Lange are believed to inhabit the ranks of the
cinematic elite, and not surprisingly most critics are more than willing to bestow upon them the title of
Auteur. By regarding filmmaking as yet another form of art, Auteur theory stipulates that a film is the
direct result of its director s genius. With the emerging prominence of auteur based criticism in the
1950?s, the role of the director became increasingly integral to a film s success. However most would
argue that this form of criticism didn t reach its apex until 1960s, when Andrew Sarris released his ...

He merely didn t adhere to a set of criteria which could safely classify his work as art . When asked
why he was not respected by American critics, as he is in Europe, Corman responded,
Ordinarly there is a great deal of snobbery from American film critics, they will accept a film by
Stanley Kramer as a work of art before they see it, or a film from a European director...but they

Considered one of the greatest of all American directors, John Ford would no doubt be regarded an
auteur by those who choose to utilize the phrase. One can imagine Ford carefully weaving beautiful
images of monument valley, to fulfill his artistic allegories, or demanding the most effective of
performances from a cast who manage to convey the emotions which stir inside this most American of
auteurs. Just as Corman seems to put a great deal of philosophical thought into crafting what many
consider to be simple films, Ford seems to suggest that his cinematic choices are often over analyzed.
In an interview with fellow western film director Burt Kennedy, Ford was asked about some of these
choices, which have come to define much of his style, and his answers are surprisingly simplistic.

Sensitive Period to Order
INTRODUCTION
In this assignment I am going to discuss the child s sensitive period for order. I will explain how it is
catered for in the classroom, referring to materials and activities.
Sensitive Periods
The Sensitive Periods are the best times for a child to learn a specific skill and are critical to the child
s self development. The child has this inner urge to undertake the task in order to live. Although, once
this period passes it is possible for the child to learn the new skill but with much more difficulty. A
sensitive period that is prevented from occurring will manifest itself into a cranky child.
The three main sensitive periods for children aged birth to six are, order, movement and language.

But freedom within limits, not the right to do whatever you want, whenever you want. Freedom needs
to work within the grounds of discipline. Discipline is making correct choices while respecting the
classroom, and the rights of the other children.
In my experience, Marie is consistent at all times while teaching but kind and caring at the same time.
She set clear expectations very early on in the school year and this is evident through the respect the
children show her and the order that upholds in the classroom.
The expectations included; * Children are given the freedom to move, to communicate, to choose
activity and to work with others. * Children must not disrespect the materials. The materials must only
be used for the purpose intended. * Children can only choose what he/she has been presented. * If the
child cannot use a specific piece of material, it is removed and re presented or, a period of time is
given to allow the child s development.
REFER TO MATERIALS AND ACTIVITIES IN THE CLASSROOM
Referring to materials and activities in the Montessori classroom, it is fair to say that the Practical Life
and Sensorial shelves all stimulate the child s sense of order. The Practical Life shelf consists of the
dressing frames, which allows the child to understand the importance of sequence in tasks. The

First shot: Shot one takes place in an ambulance, which is moving swiftly towards the hospital. The

Reflective Essay On Art
The day was December 30th it was a chilly day when a young artist named Betty Edwards walked into
her first class on art. I was walking alone a week prior after meeting up with some of my students that
I tutor when I got a call from my old art professor. I took me back to when I started learning the
wonder and culture behind art. After taking his course for half a year I gave up on art my levels of
motivation dropped and I felt like I just couldn t do it. During our talk he recommended to a small
coffee shop that offered art lessons for all levels of artist. Today December 30th the day before New
Year s Eve was my first course at the coffee shop almost in the smack center of nowhere of New York.
Every time the door would open you could hear the cars simultaneously rush by even if we were in an
alleyway. In all their were a total of 20 students who registered for the art lessons only 19 showed up.
Some of them beginners some of them looked like their art was meant for a gallery. We all brought
one thing to represent us and our art I brought an unbelievably small cat drawing that looked
horrendous compared to the other artists. The instructor walked in and handed out construction paper
and a pencil. Little did I know this would relate to our lesson. The 20th student walked in late with no

Cue for Treason Essay
Tia Berardi ENG 1D1 Ms.Oliver Monday April 2nd 2012 Several Characters Can Have Loyalty Not
everyone possesses the quality of loyalty, but those that do are worth having a relationship with. The
author of Cue for Treason, Geoffry Trease, demonstrates this trait in many of the characters. The most
loyal bond in this book, which took place very early on in the novel, was Peter and Kit s. One of the
most significant bonds has to be amongst the Secret Agents, the Queen, and all of England. Lastly, the
most heroic form of loyalty is portrayed by Tom Boyd, Peter, and Kit. Each one of these characters do

him, Ride on! I bawled... Again Kit ignored my advice. She argued afterward that there was no help
she could hope to fetch, and in those circumstances she wasn t going to leave me (Trease 253). This
shows how much the two care for each other, and will not abandon each other when situations get
rough. Although the pair fights numerous times, in the end they are always there for each other, and
never betray each other s trust. But, this is not the last time loyalty was shown. The Secret Agents
show loyalty to the Queen, protecting her in every way possible, therefore demonstrating loyalty to all
of England as well. One of the first was a man by the name of Walsingham. Walsingham was one of
the very first Secret Agents, devoting his time and life to protecting the Queen, and establishing the
Secret Agent organization. Without Walsingham the Secret Agency would not be as successful, It was
Walsingham who built up a wonderful system of government spies and agents, to ferret out all the
plots that were going and scotch the most before they got too dangerous (Trease 155 6). Walsingham
established the Secret Agency, which only got improved with a mission statement of protecting the
Queen, thus keeping England under control. Tom Boyd may have been one of the most committed to

The Theme Of Balance In Ursula Leguin s A Wizard Of Earthsea
The balance of light and dark has been off kilter forever and the balance has never been obtained! In
the fantasy novel A Wizard of Earthsea by Ursula LeGuin, the battle of light and dark has subsided,
balance has been restored, and shows the journey of discovering one s identity. At the end of the
novel, when the shadow and Ged conjoin it can be seen as the realization of one s identity, as well the
discovering of balance. LeGuin uses symbols in the novel to convey what is happening on a deeper
level. At the beginning of the end, the sea turned into sand as Ged approached his shadow, which can
be seen as a balance, when two opposites, such as sea and sand, become one. It shows when two
opposites find a middle point and are at peace as opposed to constantly battering against one another.

Light and dark have been unbalanced, waging on since the beginning of time, until they find a balance
where each has met its match. When Ged, with his flaming white staff merges with the pitch black
shadow, and emerging as one may be seen as if they have made peace at a set point and created
equilibrium, as previously discussed by Yarrow and Ged. When this occurs, Ged finally becomes a
whole self by recognizing who he is, and his balance of positive and negative decisions .Also, in the
interaction between Ged and the shadow on the yin and yang island, Ged spoke his own name and
embraced the shadow. Ying and Yang are seen as a duality forming a whole so when Ged and the
shadow unite, it can symbolize discovering his whole identity. Since often times darkness represents
evil, it can be seen as when Ged embraced the shadow, he is accepting his past decisions and dark side
that can overcome him at any time. It is a part of growing up and finding who you really are, to realize
your past faults, and accept what you did and move

Analysis Of The Great Gatsby
Ms.Seda Joseph Rosendo PD 5 May 3, 2016 At the end of the novel of The Great Gatsby, Nick
recounts all the things that had just occurred and says I see now that this has been a story of the West,
after all Tom and Gatsby, Daisy and Jordan and I, were all Westerners, and perhaps we possessed
some deficiency in common which made us subtly unadaptable to Eastern life. Nick says it was a
story of the West because they all had the common trait of being lured and accustomed into the
Eastern style instead of their origins in the West. The West proven to not be the preferable home of
each of these characters, as they all made the decision to move to the East. On the East, where there
was a rapid and growing dream of wealth and prosperity. Once they achieve this, they think they can
do what ever they want, after all they have gotten the classic American dream so now what is there to
achieve? Although the wealthy should hold high profile images, much trouble is caused by them as
portrayed by some of the main characters in the book. Tom, Gatsby and Daisy are each characters that
couldn t adapt to Eastern life. Each went through different fates, but all with the common deficiency
of being affected negatively by Eastern life and portray an overall story of their lives rooted from the
West. First, there is Tom Buchanan, who came from Chicago and went to college with Nick. At the

Dickinson s I dreaded that first robin so Essay
Dickinson s poetry has been interpreted a number of different ways. To some she may come across
suicidal, to others depressed, or even philosophical to a number of readers. In her poem number 347
her depression and feelings of inadequacy are clear. In this poem Dickinson is a diva and is like any
other person, scared of change; feelings that people typically get over quickly. Dickinson is being
drama queen by explaining and lingering upon her depression and feelings of inadequacy by
comparing herself unreasonably to and transcending the beautiful structures involved with spring

The grass is given the human characteristics of height and growth. She gives the grass these qualities
in order to make it seem like the grass is guarding her from everything else in the world. Dickinson
feels so inadequate that she must hide behind a sizable wall of grass in order that the rest of the
structures associated with spring would not come and see her. She assumes that the bees, flowers and
birds are all too beautiful to be associated with her and so she must remain incognito and enshrouded
by the grass. Her feelings are unreasonable as the structures that are all associated with spring are
some of the most beautiful in nature, therefore her comparisons and attempts to transcend the beauty
involved with nature is illogical. Dickinson tries to transcend and compare herself to the nature around
her but it is not a reasonable structure to transcend and so she feels inadequate and decides to remain
clandestine behind a wall of grass. Dickinson also uses the symbolism of spring to show her
unreasonable feelings of inadequacy by comparing herself to and attempting to transcend it. Spring is
typically seen as a time of renewal and renaissance because it is the avenue to summer where nature is
full of life and growing after the winter. Thus spring symbolizes new birth and beauty. Dickinson feels
that she cannot face spring because it is too beautiful and fruitful a season for her. Compared to the
season of spring and all it entails she feels unattractive and

How Shaping Is An Applied Behavioral Analysis Technique
Shaping is an applied behavioral analysis technique that can be used to teach new behavior or elicit a
desired target behavioral response in both human and nonhuman animals. Defined as a systematic
process of reinforcing successive approximations to a target behavior, shaping is especially useful for
behaviors that are difficult to learn by instruction, imitation, and verbal or physical cues (Alberto and
Troutman, 2013, p. 294). The general rules of shaping dictate that behavior must occur prior to being
reinforced, and also must be differentially reinforced until a predetermined terminal criterion is
reached (Athens, Vollmer, and St. Peter Pipkin, 2007).
According to Domjan (2014), successful shaping of behavior is comprised of three components: 1)
defining the final target behavior to be performed; 2) assessing the starting level of performance in
order to determine how far it is between the initial and target behaviors; and 3) dividing the
progression toward the final target behavior into a series of gradual steps (e.g., successive
approximations) that form a training plan (Domjan, 2014, p. 129). In addition, there are two
complementary tactics that must be used during the execution of the training plan: 1) reinforcement of
successive approximations to the final behavior; and 2) withholding reinforcement for earlier response
forms (p. 129).
The American psychologist B.F. Skinner was the first to recognize that operant conditioning could be
used to shape behavior.

dangerous... if everything is dangerous then we always have something to do and since youth at risk
are considered particularly dangerous, adults have taken it upon themselves to keep these dangerous
risks at a minimum by keeping young people under surveillance in any way possible. The method of
stop and searches has unfortunately resulted in more disputes and complaint from the youth of the
community targeted at constables rather than coalition between the two (Kelly, 2000). As Kelly (2000)
points out, the idea of youth at risk surrounds all activities and behaviour involving young people and
Ogden and Germinario (1988 in Kelly, 2000) go a step further and claim all children are at times
students at risk . Unfortunately, this mentality about young people has not only increased surveillance
around them, but it has, as a result, increased the conflict between young people and adults (Kelly,
2000).
However, when actual students were interviewed about their personal experiences with police,
majority understood the need for the stop and search policy. Russell, Boakye and Hackett (2013)
found that most students were comfortable with the policy being put into practice in certain areas as
this form of overt surveillance reduced the levels of crime in rogue neighbourhoods. Students
welcomed the police presence as it made them feel safer and they admitted that the stop and

Enlightenment By Immanuel Kant
In the Essay What is Enlightenment? writer Immanuel Kant expresses that it is often troublesome for
individuals to emerge out of adolescence. He says that individuals would frequently stay content in a
condition of immaturity. As indicated by him, guidelines and formulas tie individuals to a condition of
immaturity. A man, he says, who might set out to resist the standards and equations would just make a
little stride towards development since he is unaccustomed to this sort of free development. Just a
couple of individuals, as indicated by Kant, have prevailing with regards to rising out of immaturity.
He says that such individuals have done so by developing their minds. Kant characterizes
enlightenment as man s emergence from his self imposed immaturity (Kant, Enlightenment 1). One
should first comprehend what Kant implied by Enlightenment and Maturity . The essential qualifier
for enlightenment isn t finding reality, yet hunting down it. To accomplish this, man should essentially
practice his point of view without influence. In the written work Kant characterizes maturity as the
inability to use one s understanding without the guidance from another (Kant, Enlightenment 1).
Maturity more specifically means the lack of resolution and courage. Also, instead of taking your own
decisions, you rely on authority, parents, relatives and government. The writer believes that one doesn
t allow themselves to think openly and from others point of view. In his essay Kant

Fybrodysplasia Ossificans Progressiva
History In the year of 1958 Jeannie Peeper was born. The mother noticed that Jeannie had short,
crooked toes and was concerned. The doctor didn t think anything of it and he put braces on her toes
and sent them home. When Jeannie s mother saw red lumps appearing on her back and head she
became anxious. She also noticed that Jeannie s jaw wouldn t open as widely as her other childrens
did when they were her age. Because of this she took Jeannie back the doctor and at the age of four
where she was diagnosed with fibrodyplasia ossificans progressiva (Carl Zimmer, 2013).
Fibrodysplasia ossificans progressiva is a rare and incapacitating condition of skeletal malformations
and progressive heterotopic ossification. It was originally called myositis ossificans progressive
(MOP) and was discovered by a French physician, Guy Patin, who came across a patient who had
FOP. He described the patient to have swellings in his back (History of FOP, 2009). They changed it
from MOP to FOP because other fibrous tissues in addition to muscle are replaced by bone. FOP
causes excessive bone growth and begins in the early stages of life.
How Is It Acquired?
Fibrodysplasia Ossificans Progressiva is obtained by a mutation on the ACVR1 gene which occurs on
chromosome 2. It is autosomal dominant disorder which means it only takes one parent to pass the
trait on. In most cases it s a random occurrence due to mutations during the development of the sperm,
egg, or embryo. Another reason it

The Holiday Season Is Upon Us Once Again
The Holiday season is upon us once again. As usual there are lot of arguments about whether you
should say Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays or some other greeting.
Wishing someone happiness on a certain holiday celebration is not like wishing someone good
morning. It is a greeting that should be tailored to the person that it is being said to. Think about it if
you are at a mall and you see someone wearing a Santa hat with arm loads of brightly wrapped gifts
what holiday do you think they are celebrating? My guess is Christmas, so why would I tell that
person Happy Holidays?
The only time that I think Happy Holidays is acceptable is when you do not know the person well
enough to know what holidays they celebrate.
People worry so much about offending people but by reverting to such a cold non greeting you offend
anyway.
I grew up in a Christian home and I continue to practice Christianity but the most thoughtful gift I ever
received came from someone who did not celebrate Christmas. I received a gift from a person from
India who was a practicing Hindu, he was in this country on a work visa. He went home to India and
when he came back he brought me a Christmas gift.
I was blown a way that someone who doesn t even celebrate Christmas brought me, someone of
another faith and race a gift to help me celebrate. I asked him why and he said that he knows I
celebrate Christmas and he wanted my celebration to be special. He went on to say that wishing you

of IT in the Accounting Work Information technology (IT) has changed the accounting department for
the better (Shanker). Today, IT is already present and is used widely in the business field, specifically
in accounting offices (Shanker, 2006). The following are the positive effects of IT in the Accounting
Work: Speed is the most important characteristic of IT. The use of various technologies results to
faster and more accurate performances. Technologies are mainly composed of hardware and software
and these two must be always compatible for the accountant s specific works in order to deliver the
best performance. In order for technologies to be more effective as far as speed is concerned, the
system of accounting should have always backup systems for the technologies that are being used
(Shanker, 2006). Accuracy in recording and reporting financial information are greatly valued and the

Hawai I Research Paper
I have a full Japanese first name, and I go by a shortened, Americanized version. My first name means
nothing in Japanese, and it s old fashioned, like Barbara or Margaret or Greta. Fashionable for a
decade or so, and now painfully outdated. My middle name is Hawai ian and is a suffix attached to the
names of female royalty, and it means heaven or sky.
I am 100% full blooded Japanese. Allegedly my father s side of the family is descended from samurai
and land owning barons, while my mother s side has a hazier history. I like to call myself half royalty
half peasant, because it sounds romantic but not because there s any basis in truth. I was born in
Honolulu, Hawai i in January 1992, which makes me currently 20 years old. We lived there until I was

Japanese here.
I still speak Japanese. In addition to Japanese, I speak Spanish with some fluency and French on a
very basic conversational level. I currently study Italian. I hope to conquer German next. My voice in
each of these languages is different. In Japanese, I am demure. In English, rough and irreverent. In
Spanish and French I am sure I sound childish, and I don t think I sound like anything other than a
complete beginner in Italian. I adopt new languages like personas.
I have tattoos, but I avoid talking about them too much because I m afraid of diminishing their value. I

DRY is a principle in development called Don t Repeat Yourself, which focuses on reducing and
eliminating duplicated code. Considering that every line of code in software must be maintained,
duplication of code then is simply a waste.
Similarly, modular programming is a software design technique that encourages separating functions
of a program into individual, reusable modules, in that each module contains everything necessary to
perform a single desired function. Phew!
A simple way of visualizing this can be seen by looking at thunder::tech s home page:
A screenshot of thundertechs home page explaining modules
Each separate color and number is its own unique module. These sections can be reused in other
places on the site with different content. Building modular websites removes some of the repetition
encountered in development, which promotes DRY development.
In the end, this results in a more flexible, expandable and maintainable website.

Hsi Lai Buddhist Temple Analysis
The Hsi Lai Buddhist temple is located in Hacienda Heights and is the largest Buddhist temple in the
West. The building was constructed to be a religious site by a Buddhist organization in Taiwan. The
first thing that catches the attention, is the Chinese architecture of the temple and all of the Chinese
words on the outside of the temple. The words on the four pillars of the gate, represent the four
Bodhisattva vows the Buddhists take to complete enlightenment. There are many rooms on the outside
of the temple that look like they may be used for teaching or for programs being run at the temple.
Furthermore, as you walk up the stairs, there are two bodhisattvas on each side of the entrance. Both

The temple contains the images of many bodhisattvas,Buddha s, and disciples. The images of the
Buddha s and bodhisattvas are the focus of the rooms and outside. For example, in the main shrine and
Bodhisattva hall, the focus are the images. Another example is the garden of the eighteen arhats in
which the Buddha is surrounded by his first disciples. The other garden that is in the temple is the
Vessel of Compassion for Universal Liberation. The main image in this garden is that of
Avalofitesvara Bodhisattva. The other images depicted are of heaven kings. The bodhisattva is
important because the vows of this Bodhisattva are of a compassionate mind and the power of
wisdom. This bodhisattva answers the prayers of sentient beings no matter where they are and
manifests in different forms. These eighteen arhats extinguished all defilements and afflictions. They
had reached nirvana and their righteousness is exemplary to all Buddhists. Comparatively, symbols
play an important role in buddhism and we can see this through the offers made to the Buddha s and
bodhisattvas. For example, incense symbolizes inner peace, a lamp offering symbolizes the
brightening of our vision and the enhancement of our wisdom. In addition, in the images, mudras or
certain objects are a symbol of important rules to follow. Such as in image of the Bodhisattva
Samantabhadra, the elephant symbolizes practice. The sounds that are used are that of instruments
during the service in the main shrine and the sound of bells which usually mark the initiation of a
service or other announcements. Furthermore, the smells that are used throughout the temple are
incense. Incense is used as an offering and it is meant to help the Buddhist concentrate and focus on
meditating. Lastly, taste is used in the ritual of eating vegetarian meals

The Challenges Of Veterans With Disabilities
This research paper will discuss the challenges and opportunities that veterans with disabilities
encounter when transitioning from the Military into the civilian workplace. Currently, there are more
than 6 million veterans in the United States with a disability. A veteran is defined as a person who has
served or is serving in the United States Armed Forces. While reintegrating the veterans back into the
workplace, veterans with Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and Physical Disabilities will be one
of the greatest challenges that any agency will encounter. This will require that organizations prepare
and implement procedures to make special accommodations to assist the Veteran while following the
federally mandated guidelines. Moreover, this will allow organizations to employee and empower
America s bravest men and women; hiring a veteran brings valuable skills and knowledge into the
workplace. Posttraumatic Stress Disorder is defined as a debilitating psychological condition triggered
by a major event such as war, a terrorist act, or a catastrophic event. According to the Department of
Veterans Affairs there are over 2.3 million American Veterans of the Irag and Afghanistan wars, with
at least 20 % of them having a documented case of PTSD. Additionally, it is presumed that about 50%
of the Veterans who actually have PTSD do not seek treatment. Statistics show that of the 61% of men
who experience trauma only 8% actually develop PTSD, versus the 51% of woman who

Womens Rights Violations
Women s rights, as defined by the Global Fund for Women, is the right to live free from violence,
slavery, and discrimination; to be educated; to own property; to vote; and to earn a fair and equal
wage, and in our country, there have been many instances of the violation of these rights, such as
sexual harassment, gender discrimination, misogyny. These acts can even be seen at different points in
the timeline of the Philippine history, be it in the past decades, or at present. Hence, the purpose of this
paper is to compare women s rights violations in the Philippines in the context of both the present, and
the time of Martial Law.
During Martial Law At the time of Martial Law, rights pertaining to women were already present and
were those that have already been recognized by the state. Despite having these, the rise of harassment
and violations of these rights were not prevented as evidenced by the numerous victims of torture,
rape, abduction, and sexual harassment, which in particular, was the prominent act of violence against
women. As mentioned by Susan Quimpo upon inquiry, The common thought among women was that
rape was the minimum when you are caught and you are a woman. There was even an SOP with the
military where they were allowed to molest or basically rape women when caught, and this instance
alone shows how women are not only sexualized, but likewise how there is much disregard of the
rights they have not to live in discrimination and violence. Quimpo also

The Church s Showdown With Galileo
The Roman Catholic Church has been seen, by many, as a villain in the world for many centuries. The
Church s showdown with Galileo in court is quite possibly the greatest standoff between faith and
science that history has seen (Cowell). A common view of the establishment is that the Church is led
by corrupt, old men who are strongly oppose scientific advancement if the science disagrees with the
Church doctrine. It was all because, according to the Pope and bishops, Galileo s pretended discovery
vitiated the whole Christian plan of salvation (qtd. in Battershall). Coming out of the dark ages, the
church had prevented scientific achievement under the belief that people s time was better spent
attempting to reach a peaceful afterlife. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Galilei s schooling began when he was twelve, his father enrolled him in a monastery school
(Langford). This second fact displays that religion was equally as important to his family as intellect.
During the 16th century, Nicolaus Copernicus was a very influential astronomer, whom Galileo
Galilei, an aspiring scientist in that field, admired and studied diligently. Copernicus theorized that the
Earth rotated around the sun, also known as the heliocentric theory (Paolucci and Brophy). This was
in contrast to the Ptolemaic theory (and Catholic doctrine) that everything else in our galaxy pivoted
around the Earth. Galileo spent his life attempting to prove the Copernican Theory.
In 1609, Galileo, using knowledge he gained from time in the Netherlands, improved on the
previously invented telescope. He presented the new model to the Venetian senate in August. Using
the telescope, he found a new star, one which was very supportive of the Copernican theory ( Galileo
Galilei ). In Galilei s published writing, The Starry Messenger, he states the following:
Here we have a fine and elegant argument for quieting the doubts of those who, while accepting with
tranquil mind the revolutions of the planets about the sun in the Copernican system, are mightily
disturbed to have the moon alone revolve about the earth and accompany it in an annual rotation about
the sun.

Bad Leadership Theories
Abstract When I think of bad or evil leadership, I think the power between leaders and followers are
often locked in a complicated dance of sorts. Leadership today is a phenomenon, which implies that a
leader, by nature, is someone wise and inspirational. However, it is better to understand that
sometimes a leader is driven by darker forces, as well as their followers. Leadership can be painted in
shades of gray, sometimes in black and bad leadership is as ubiquitous as it is insidious. This is not to
say that bad leadership is more prevalent than good leadership, anymore than it could be said that bad
people are greater in number than good people, but just as human nature is complex, leadership is
prone to shades of gray and black as ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

The Power Of The Dog Rudyard Kipling
Many dog owners would agree that there are many benefits to having a dog in their life. Throughout
time there have been multiple works of creativity that expresses the multiple benefits and risks of
owning a dog. One poem, in particular by Rudyard Kipling titled The Power of the Dog (Rudyard
Kipling)explains a sentiment that most pet owners would agree with. Kipling explains his attitude of
being able to have owned a dog in his life and the effect that having a addition to your life in the form
of a dog. Kipling s strong sense of emotion and passion truly drives his need of choosing to write this
piece. The reader follows through with a strong sense of sympathy for the hurt that Kipling chose to
express in this work.
Rudyard Kipling was an Indian poet who was born into a family of wealth and prosperity in 1865. He
was later sent to live in England when he was five years old to live with a foster family. He did not
enjoy his living arrangement in his foster home and the experiences that he went through helped to
give him inspiration later on in life in his writings. He later went to college at the age of 12. He is well
known in the world of poetry for his use of descriptive imagery and relatability. (Kipling Society)
Kipling won the Nobel Prize for literature in 1907.Shortly after his death in 1936, his work began a
slow decline of being neglected due to his unpopular political views that were very present in his
multiple works. (Poetry Foundation)
In this poem, in particular, Kipling explains that Buy a pup and your money will buy,/
Love unflinching that cannot lie. (Kipling 7 8) this piece of art can be interpreted in very few ways.
The common understanding after reading this poem is that dogs are loyal to humans as long as the
humans are loyal to them. The golden rule: do onto others as you would like to be done to you, comes
into full effect or correlation with Kipling s ideas in this work. He goes on to explain the hardships
that may follow when a family loses a dog in their lifetime. He writes that
When the fourteen years which nature permits
Are closing in asthma, or tumour, or fits
And the vet s unspoken prescription runs
To lethal chambers or loaded guns,
Then you will find it s your own

Training For A Training Program
A training program can be used to effectively improve the ability of an interviewer to conduct more
accurate interviews with job candidates. To attain this accuracy, it is important to base a training
program on well researched and empirical data. In developing a possible program for training
interviewers, it will be necessary to discuss some of the elements that can be used for a training
program. Additionally, training programs will need to be comprised of key components and a solid
process to ensure the program is effective. However, a training program is only as successful as the
results it produces. Therefore, the last section will explore ways to evaluate the effectiveness of a
training program. Training Program Elements and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Each of these elements play an important role in the overall training process and will serve to assist
interviewers in achieving more consistent ratings. Training is important because interviewers gain
very little useful information from their day to day interviewing experiences (Cascio Aguinis, 2011).
Minimal gains from going through multiple interviews makes sense, since interviewers would have
nothing to compare their interviewing experiences to, or have any consistent method to learn more
effective ways of conducting interviews and assigning ratings. Furthermore, training is necessary for
interviewers to improve their skills, rather than perpetuate poor ones, and is best when experience
combines with high levels of cognitive complexity (Cascio Aguinis, 2011). Therefore, it is critical for
an interviewer training program to have elements like learning and analysis, which adds cognitive
complexity by providing a base of information and clear examples for participants to observe. Overall,
experience alone will not suffice in allowing improvements to occur for an interviewer, and training is
necessary to improve decision making and accuracy during interviews. Key Components As
mentioned previously, a key component when conducting a training program is to clearly define the
purpose of the training. The role of interviewers is to accurately rate their perceptions of an applicant
and evaluate those perceptions in relation to job requirements, as outlined by a job

Software Quality Implementation For Quality Assessment
ABSTRACT
Software quality is one of the most important concerns of software industry. Software testing helps in
measuring and verifying quality of a software product. There are several methodologies followed by
testing process for quality assessment. Each methodology has its own advantages and disadvantages.
Agile testing follows agile software development principles in which software is tested for
performance issues. In this paper we analyze quality assurance using agile processes and will
demonstration how agile process achieves software quality assessment.

success to the project. o Responding to Change
Software project may have inevitable changes which have to be corrected. Such unexpected issues
must be accommodated by the development process.
Team members with diverse skillset and knowledge would be useful when developing software using
agile. This whole team approach encourages effective and efficient team. It allows rapid project
delivery. Project feedback is possible at early stages of software development lifecycle (Cockburn,
Alistair, and Williams 2003). Therefore agile methodology is considered as cost as well as time
effective.
II. THE AGILE TECHNIQUES Most commonly used agile techniques are discussed here. Factors
associated with them help us to make a choice between different agile techniques.
Most commonly used agile techniques here:
Extreme Programming (XP)
Key principles described by Extreme Programming (XP) are communication, simplicity, feedback,
courage, and quality work (Beck 2000). Extreme programming practices can be followed only when
team size is small. This is not suitable process for distributed teams. Project length is general short
which is around 2 weeks.
Scrum
Scrum technique does not provide any guidance how testing should be progressed. Hence scrum
projects are usually divided into iterations also called as sprints. (Cervone 2011) Length of

Theme Of Women In A Streetcar Named Desire
A Streetcar Named Desire by Tennessee Williams is about this lady named Blanche who was a school
teacher. She lost her job when she was found to have an affair with a teenage boy in her school. After
that Blanche went to stay at a hotel, but she attracted too many men and so they kicked her out. Then
Blanche went to her sister, Stella s house and lived with her and her husband, Stanley. But, they only
had one bedroom, so, Blanche had to sleep in the bed located in the kitchen. Overtime Stanley and
Stella started to notice a change in Blanche. Blanche s mental state had started to worsen as more time
went by. Even after noticing the change, Stanley had sexual abused her when Stella was in the
hospital. However, Stella still believed Stanley and she had been forced to send Blanche to a mental
asylum. Williams throughout this performance shows men dominance over women, meaning that men
were in charge and made women seem inferior compared to men. This led to a conflict between men
and women, which a feminist critic would observe as women playing inferior and submissive role
compared to men. In this play, Williams shows masculinity as being the more stable gender. This
means that women often relied on men for their living. For example, in scene 11 when Stella is talking
to Eunice, Stella says, I don t know if I did the right thing...I couldn t believe her story and go on
living with Stanley (Williams 133). Even if Stella wanted to believe Blanche, Stella had no choice

Well Being Assessment
The Human Well Being Index 10 Geography Melony Weir This report serves as a means of explaining
and evaluating The Human Wellbeing Index (aka the HWI). Consisting of several general well being
indicators, the HWI was created in hopes of providing a greater insight into living conditions in
various countries. To measure and compare the quality of life for people across the globe, several well
being indicators were carefully selected and analysed. These indicators were thought to most
appropriately represent human well being in each country as they covered areas such as education, the
economy, and population. Having established that the HWI indicators were used to determine the
general living standards in each country, the facts and figures collected were then used to create an
average well being ranking system. This system ranked each country from highest to lowest levels of
life quality and human well being. The remainder of this report will include a background on general
human well being, a description of each indicator used, the results of the HWI, and finally, an
evaluation of its overall effectiveness. Background While there is no universal definition of human

Analysis Of All Along The Watchtower
All Along the Watchtower is known as a classic rock song, but was originally crafted by Bob Dylan in
1967. Artists like Pearl Jam, U2, Dave Matthews Band and Eric Clapton have all covered this song,
but notably the most famous version would be Jimi Hendrix rendition. A year after the song s original
release, Hendrix covered the unknown Bob Dylan song and propelled its legacy. Both songs draw
different artistry and interpretations, but the concept is fundamentally the same. In the original Bob
Dylan song, the general vibe was folk or even folk rock. The song form is simple verse, as the text of
the song contains three verses. The tempo is generally slow, and steady throughout the entire song.
Rhythm is kept throughout the song with the acoustic guitar. The beat is kept by backbeat drums, but
are relatively subtle to the timbre of the song. The instrumentation of All Along the Watchtower
includes acoustic guitar, drums and the use of the harmonica. The harmonica shines through two solos
and the outro in the song (first solo 0:45 1:00, second solo 1:29 1:44, and outro 2:12 2:31). Bob Dylan
s vocals are unrestrained throughout the song, differing in pitch. He elevates to higher and lower
pitches to create a mysterious message in the lyrics. Lyrically, this song is debated as one of Dylan s
most poetic titles, as no concrete conclusions have been made on what the song is actually about. The
lyrical melody of the song also sells its folk repertoire to

Similarities Between Arrow And The Flash
Has there ever been a point in your life that you wished you could be a superhero or superhuman?
Most, if not all, people s answer to that question would be a resounding yes, including mine. Over the
years, more TV shows and movies have begun to incorporate what we would consider to be our heroes
into them. These shows, or movies, consist of a hero, or heroes, that are typically aided by friends and
a team that help them fight evil; two examples of this are Arrow and The Flash. Hero shows, or
movies, can be a quite broad category, but it can be broken into smaller categories like superhuman
heroes, mortal heroes, dark heroes, or otherworldly heroes. The Flash is a superhuman hero while
Green Arrow is a mortal, but dark hero. The two ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Oliver vows that every person on his father s list will wish he too had died on that island. Similar to
the first episode of Arrow, The Flash has it s first episode named Pilot as well. It begins with a
flashback to when Barry Allen s, the main character, mom is killed in an unexplainable event and his
dad is convicted of her murder... which Barry believes to be untrue. Now, 14 years later, Barry works
for Central City C.S.I and is quite good at his job. On one particular night a particle accelerator,
created by Harrison Wells and was supposed to change the way everyone thought about physics,
exploded releasing an unimaginable amount of dark energy. Lightning then struck Barry, which put
him in a coma for nine months. After waking up, Barry began to notice certain things were slowing
down... or so he thought. In reality, he was just moving unexplainably fast. When a man named Clyde
Martin that can inexplicably control the weather starts terrorizing the city, Barry takes it upon himself
to take him down. He speaks with Oliver Queen for advice, Barry knows Oliver is the Arrow, and
Oliver tells him that he can inspire people the way he himself never could. Barry then takes on Clyde
Martin head on and defeats him. The storylines between the two shows are similar because they both
begin by showing what made the two heroes and what made them who they are stemmed from former
accidents.

As Mahan contended, there was supposed to be sufficient battleships for the protection of three waters surrounding the country, after that, it was time to spread the sea power to all around the world by bringing together the land forces with maritime foces. In other words, Mahan created the idea of having soldiers ready for the interest of the nation all around the world, which is still being used by the Navy and Marine corps. And finally, in the writing, it is criticized that the new ideas of Mahan caused problems in the organization of the Navy, which later caused the Navy to have structural changes. • 5. First Person Narration In The Stranger By Albert Camus Through thoughts and conversation, one can learn a great deal about the ideals and opinions of a person. This is also the case in literature, as authors may write in first person to allow the reader to receive a better idea of who the main character is and what they stand for. Authors can also use such a strategy to express their personal opinions on a topic in the text through the thoughts and actions of their main character. Such is the case of Albert Camus and his main character in The Stranger, Meursault. Through first person narration, Camus is able to use Meursault as a vehicle to bring focus to religious systems in the 1940s Algerian society depicted in the novel. Two of the ways in which the reader can see Camus views on religion in his novel is through Meursault s interactions with other characters and through the personal thoughts of Meursault. One way in which Camus uses first person narration to bring focus to religious systems and constructs in the 1940s Algerian society presented in The Stranger is through Meursault s interactions with other characters on the premise of religion. Nuclear waste is material that has been used in a nuclear reactor. It looks exactly the same on the outside, as it did when it went into the reactor (see Figure 1). Once nuclear fission has taken place inside the reactor to make electricity, the Uranium breaks into many unstable isotopes. These isotopes will remain radioactive for thousands of years. Hence, the need for more nuclear waste storage facilities. A storage facility in South Australia would be geographically perfect and hold low level (plastic), intermediate (see Figure 2) and high level waste, like spent uranium fuel cells. The answer will be supported and derived from multiple sources, including; my survey data, expert reports, statistics, graphs and tables. Overall Question Should Nuclear Waste be Disposed of in South Australia? According to public voting records, two thirds of South Australian citizens, are against the proposal of a nuclear waste plant. A Short Note On Gene Regulation And Expression BS31006 Gene Regulation Expression Dr. Armel Nicolas Genome engineering using the CRISPR Cas9 system Matei Agavriloaei 120004682 24/11/2014 ABSTRACT: Modified nucleases have been used for years in order to achieve successful genome editing and are nowadays an almost universally used method. RNA guided nucleases (such as Cas9) with easily changeable characteristics have been generated in great numbers especially since the emergence of clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeats (CRISPR). This represents the most modern tool that can be used by scientists for genome editing. This technology can bring a broad range of medical benefits and advancements (1). In 2013, this system started being used (and is still widely used today) for adding and changing sequences of targeted genes (4), process also known as genome editing. The genome can be cut any location by guiding properly RNAs into a cell and also delivering Cas9 protein. In theory, it could be possible to build RNA guided gene drives with the use of CRISPR to alter the genetic code of entire populations (5). CRISPR RNA (crRNA) and Cas proteins come together and form CRISPR ribonucleic proteins (crRNPs) for appropriate targeting and cleaving of the foreign nucleic acid (3). Due to the accelerate evolution of the immune system, the CRISPR Cas systems are highly diverse and have been catalogued into three main types, each of them having a specific Cas protein. Type I and III and related and contain Cas3 nuclease helicase and Cas10 (a protein with an unknown function) respectively. Type II is phylogenetically different and is represented by the Cas9 nuclease. Type II has three different subunits (A, B and C) and their crRNPs are all known as Cas9 complexes. They are restricted only to bacteria, not being in present in archaea as well (3).

  • 19. How Shaping Is An Applied Behavioral Analysis Technique Shaping is an applied behavioral analysis technique that can be used to teach new behavior or elicit a desired target behavioral response in both human and nonhuman animals. Defined as a systematic process of reinforcing successive approximations to a target behavior, shaping is especially useful for behaviors that are difficult to learn by instruction, imitation, and verbal or physical cues (Alberto and Troutman, 2013, p. 294). The general rules of shaping dictate that behavior must occur prior to being reinforced, and also must be differentially reinforced until a predetermined terminal criterion is reached (Athens, Vollmer, and St. Peter Pipkin, 2007). According to Domjan (2014), successful shaping of behavior is comprised of three components: 1) defining the final target behavior to be performed; 2) assessing the starting level of performance in order to determine how far it is between the initial and target behaviors; and 3) dividing the progression toward the final target behavior into a series of gradual steps (e.g., successive approximations) that form a training plan (Domjan, 2014, p. 129). In addition, there are two complementary tactics that must be used during the execution of the training plan: 1) reinforcement of successive approximations to the final behavior; and 2) withholding reinforcement for earlier response forms (p. 129). The American psychologist B.F. Skinner was the first to recognize that operant conditioning could be used to shape behavior. ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The method of stop and searches has unfortunately resulted in more disputes and complaint from the youth of the community targeted at constables rather than coalition between the two (Kelly, 2000). As Kelly (2000) points out, the idea of youth at risk surrounds all activities and behaviour involving young people and Ogden and Germinario (1988 in Kelly, 2000) go a step further and claim all children are at times students at risk . Unfortunately, this mentality about young people has not only increased surveillance around them, but it has, as a result, increased the conflict between young people and adults (Kelly, 2000). However, when actual students were interviewed about their personal experiences with police, majority understood the need for the stop and search policy. Russell, Boakye and Hackett (2013) found that most students were comfortable with the policy being put into practice in certain areas as this form of overt surveillance reduced the levels of crime in rogue neighbourhoods. My guess is Christmas, so why would I tell that person Happy Holidays? The only time that I think Happy Holidays is acceptable is when you do not know the person well enough to know what holidays they celebrate. People worry so much about offending people but by reverting to such a cold non greeting you offend anyway. I grew up in a Christian home and I continue to practice Christianity but the most thoughtful gift I ever received came from someone who did not celebrate Christmas. I received a gift from a person from India who was a practicing Hindu, he was in this country on a work visa. He went home to India and when he came back he brought me a Christmas gift. I was blown a way that someone who doesn t even celebrate Christmas brought me, someone of another faith and race a gift to help me celebrate. I asked him why and he said that he knows I celebrate Christmas and he wanted my celebration to be special. He went on to say that wishing you Merry Christmas ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Today, IT is already present and is used widely in the business field, specifically in accounting offices (Shanker, 2006). The following are the positive effects of IT in the Accounting Work: Speed is the most important characteristic of IT. The use of various technologies results to faster and more accurate performances. Technologies are mainly composed of hardware and software and these two must be always compatible for the accountant s specific works in order to deliver the best performance. In order for technologies to be more effective as far as speed is concerned, the system of accounting should have always backup systems for the technologies that are being used (Shanker, 2006). My first name means nothing in Japanese, and it s old fashioned, like Barbara or Margaret or Greta. Fashionable for a decade or so, and now painfully outdated. My middle name is Hawai ian and is a suffix attached to the names of female royalty, and it means heaven or sky. I am 100% full blooded Japanese. Considering that every line of code in software must be maintained, duplication of code then is simply a waste. Similarly, modular programming is a software design technique that encourages separating functions of a program into individual, reusable modules, in that each module contains everything necessary to perform a single desired function. Phew! A simple way of visualizing this can be seen by looking at thunder::tech s home page: A screenshot of thundertechs home page explaining modules Each separate color and number is its own unique module. A common view of the establishment is that the Church is led by corrupt, old men who are strongly oppose scientific advancement if the science disagrees with the Church doctrine. It was all because, according to the Pope and bishops, Galileo s pretended discovery vitiated the whole Christian plan of salvation (qtd. in Battershall). Copernicus theorized that the Earth rotated around the sun, also known as the heliocentric theory (Paolucci and Brophy). Each of these elements play an important role in the overall training process and will serve to assist interviewers in achieving more consistent ratings. Training is important because interviewers gain very little useful information from their day to day interviewing experiences (Cascio Aguinis, 2011). Minimal gains from going through multiple interviews makes sense, since interviewers would have nothing to compare their interviewing experiences to, or have any consistent method to learn more effective ways of conducting interviews and assigning ratings. Furthermore, training is necessary for interviewers to improve their skills, rather than perpetuate poor ones, and is best when experience combines with high levels of cognitive complexity (Cascio Aguinis, 2011). Therefore, it is critical for an interviewer training program to have elements like learning and analysis, which adds cognitive complexity by providing a base of information and clear examples for participants to observe. Overall, experience alone will not suffice in allowing improvements to occur for an interviewer, and training is necessary to improve decision making and accuracy during interviews. Key Components As mentioned previously, a key component when conducting a training program is to clearly define the purpose of the training. The role of interviewers is to accurately rate their perceptions of an applicant and evaluate those perceptions in relation to job requirements, as outlined by a job ... She lost her job when she was found to have an affair with a teenage boy in her school. After that Blanche went to stay at a hotel, but she attracted too many men and so they kicked her out. Then Blanche went to her sister, Stella s house and lived with her and her husband, Stanley. But, they only had one bedroom, so, Blanche had to sleep in the bed located in the kitchen. Overtime Stanley and Stella started to notice a change in Blanche. Blanche s mental state had started to worsen as more time went by. Even after noticing the change, Stanley had sexual abused her when Stella was in the hospital. However, Stella still believed Stanley and she had been forced to send Blanche to a mental asylum. Williams throughout this performance shows men dominance over women, meaning that men were in charge and made women seem inferior compared to men. This led to a conflict between men and women, which a feminist critic would observe as women playing inferior and submissive role compared to men. In this play, Williams shows masculinity as being the more stable gender. This means that women often relied on men for their living. Consisting of several general well being indicators, the HWI was created in hopes of providing a greater insight into living conditions in various countries. To measure and compare the quality of life for people across the globe, several well being indicators were carefully selected and analysed. These indicators were thought to most appropriately represent human well being in each country as they covered areas such as education, the economy, and population. Having established that the HWI indicators were used to determine the general living standards in each country, the facts and figures collected were then used to create an average well being ranking system.
