Faulkner s tragic characters like Shakespeare s are those who have a more than a passing
conflict with negation and who believe that they should be able to act in the world in such a way
to emerge victorious from that conflict. We can see that the situation Faulkner s characters
confront are almost the similar to those confronted by Shakespeare s. They are all trapped in a
world controlled by the forces and people from which the protagonist wish to escape. Both
Shakespeare s and Faulkner s tragic heroes believe that they can conquer these forces and this

determines the differences between the two sonnet forms. In the Petrarchian sonnet the problem is
solved by reasoned perception or a meditative process.
The Shakespearean sonnet maintains the basic two part structure of conflict and resolution, now
presented in fourteen lines of three quatrains and a concluding rhyming couplet. Each quatrain
presents a further aspect of a problem, conflict, or idea. The resolution occurs in the last two of a
rhyming couplet, achieved through logical cleverness that summarizes or ties together what has

The sonnet sequence is a gathering together of a number of sonnets to present a narrative or

19th century. As a novelist and also a well known feminist, Charlotte Perkins Gilman fearlessly

conflict of marital discord. Gilman intertwines her frustrations about a relationship with her
husband and depicts the distress through many symbols, so that people should be aware what

A comfort zone is a relaxing safe space in which people are familiar with because it causes no
anxiety or stress. In life, each of us will be in uncomfortable situations that are outside of our
comfort zone. However, we have to be become accustomed in environments that are normally
perceived as uncomfortable to experience what others may have to deal with on a daily basis.
Additionally, this applies to social workers. We may deal with clients or different situations that
are out of our comfort zone. However, we must overcome it to be more aware, as well as
completing the job to the best of our abilities. For instance, a strongly devoted Baptist African
American male may be uncomfortable attending a LGBT Pride parade due to his beliefs.
Nonetheless, this experience may change his perspective on individuals from the LGBT

firstly placed emphasis on the idea of monotheism (as opposed to the polytheism of Irano Aryan
religion) since he felt there was only one god named Ahura Mazda who was worthy of their
worship (Bekhrad, 2017). While the concept of monotheism was the central point within
Zoroastrianism, other theological aspects which were present in his religious thought includes
Angra Mainyu (the evil spirit who in some aspects was like Satan), heaven and hell, and a
collection of scripture called Avesta (Corduan, 2015). Zoroastrianism had a strong influence on
other religious movements and played a role in part in shaping the theology which they held
(Bekhrad, 2017). The first example of this would have to be with regards to the Jewish religion
since it shows many parallels with Zoroastrianism s beliefs (Bekhrad, 2017). Such examples of
these similarities would have to include that of monotheism (God and Ahura Mazda), the idea of a
collection of scriptures (Torah and Avesta), and belief in upcoming messianic figures (the Messiah

Persians are known to have had relations with each other and likely they passed along theological
