Youths Enterprise Development & Innovation Society (YEDIS) is a nonprofit organization in Nigeria that promotes entrepreneurship education, youth employment, gender equality and community development. YEDIS primarily operates in underserved communities where there is a lack of quality education and decent jobs due to poor awareness, inadequate educational facilities, and primitive agricultural sources of livelihood, chiefly among girls and young women.
Regarding the YEDIS Team's continuous association and familiarization with marginalized young people, they understand the challenges facing agribusiness owners, creative small businesses, and unemployed youth, including a lack of digital skills and inaccessible technological equipment.
Given the above, YEDIS strives with its limited resources through trustees' contributions and fundraising to help marginalized young people for decent jobs and gender balance and to advance sustainable economic and community development.
Digital technology advances underserved women and girls in agribusiness for sustainable development. Underserved people have inadequate managerial skills and lack access to digital devices and modern infrastructural facilities like electricity, modern equipment for agricultural production, entrepreneurship, and digital skills to innovate and promote their businesses.
Youths Enterprise Development & Innovation Society (YEDIS) organizes entrepreneurship and digital skills for underserved women and girls in agrifood business to promote gender equality and decent jobs and encourage the food transformation system and economic development.
