2. Application And Network Performance For Many Service...
1. Introduction The Domain Name System (DNS) is a major component of the Internet that maps
human understandable names to machine level IP addresses. From the past few years, as the Internet
are evolved across the regions, more service providers started using DNS in a way which was not
meant such cases were used often in content delivery networks (CDNs), NXDOMAIN Remapping
and URL auto completion. But the paper mainly focus on the new class of DNS misuse called
disposable domains and author found that various service providers, popular search engines, social
networks and security companies, started heavily using automatically generated domain names to send
one time signal to their servers. These disposable domains are generally created on demand in
abundant which belongs to common parent DNS zones. They have unique cache hit rate percent which
distinguish them from non disposable domains (Yizheng et al., 2014). These unique ways of using
DNS, invents the new useful applications and network performance for many service providers.
Hence, claimed that it is important to monitor and analyse the DNS usage from the Internet service
providers within ISP network and make sure under what conditions current DNS practices are
employed such that there should not be any negative impact on the network infrastructure. In this
paper, author and his team design a system that automatically identifies the disposable domains and
observes the detailed measurements on how disposable domains are

3. Indian Ocean Trade Dbq
Before 1448, European had to use the Silk Road to trade with Asia. In 1453, Muslim took over
Constantinople; the only way to Asia had been cut. European nations started to use the Maritime way,
and they took over many places in Asia as their access to an easier trade system. Among these
European nations, like what they did to America, their goals and the way they achieved their
initiatives in Asia are different from one another. Portuguese was the first group that explored the way
to Asia without going through Muslims. Because of their special geography, Portugal had advanced
technology. They had outgun ships and controlled the sea area. They also established bases in key
locations of the places they conquered. They created trading post empire by force. They conquered
ports and big cities, but not the whole place. Portuguese s goal was gaining the control of commerce
instead of territory and controlling population. Their ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Unlike Spain and Portugal, Dutch used private trading companies. The Holland Government gave
these companies power to make war and govern the Native people. They set their goal on Indonesia.
They attempted to control the shipping and production of the Asian spices such as: cloves, cinnamon,

would be destroyed. Dutch wanted pure profits from Asia. They used military (bloody methods) to
ruin the Native people and their trade system instead of economic competitions. British also used
private trading companies and they focused on India. Because British settlers were private companies,
they mainly focused on Indian cottons, which were considered as diamond in Europe. To sell cottons
back to Europe would give them huge wealth. At that time, Mughal Empire was still strong compare

4. The United States Congress Often Comes Across Issues That
The United States Congress often comes across issues that are met with gridlock. These politicians
often face complaints from people within their own workplace or just the average citizen. When they
see something that needs to be revised, they must articulate a plan that will not only satisfy their party,
but also the people who fall under the plan. These conflicts range from a president s term limits to
even repealing certain amendments. Just because it s written in the Constitution, doesn t mean it can t
be revised! Here are some concerns that have been brought up through the recent years. Term limits
for the Congress of the United States have been debated for quite some time. The debates were ignited
after the court ruling on Inc. vs. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This was one of his many attempts of trying to Drain the Swamp in politics. He stated that if elected
president, he would push for a constitutional amendment to enact a term limit on all members of
Congress. That has not happened yet, but only time will tell. (Phillips)
I believe the people and Congress see this as a way of putting a balance on the two main parties. I
agree with the Congressmen I have mentioned above. I do not believe that any member of Congress
should be able to hold their spot until they lose an election. We are a government with checks and
balances after all! We should do everything in our power to make sure that we are a truly free and well
represented society.
The mandatory balanced budget is another topic that is thrown around in Congress. According to
Wikipedia, every state with the exception of Vermont contains some sort of a balanced budget. Our
Federal Government does not. Our Federal Government is not required to have a balanced budget.
With that being said, that means that as long as the bill is passed, they are allowed to spend as they
please. No wonder why our debt is almost at twenty trillion..
Now, just because there is not an amendment for a balanced budget, does not mean there have not
been any attempts to try and pass one. Sadly, Conservatives have not been able to get the votes
necessary to pass any of their plans for this budget. Ronald Raegan was one of the first people to

5. Delillo Death s Uncertainty
According to Don DeLillo, a modern author, playwright, and essayist, The modern meaning of life s
end when does it end? How does it end? How should it end? What is the value of life? How do we
measure it? ( Don DeLillo Quotes, 2012). Through this quote, DeLillo questions death s uncertainty
by providing various wonders concerning its mysterious nature. With one of his most popular novels,
White Noise, DeLillo explores many contemporary issues through his characters and plot. DeLillo
frequently explores ideas such as people s dependence on consumerism, the devastating effects of
mediocrity, and the persistent nature of advertisements in order to press a focus on modern society
through lenses of the past and the evolution of society. Just ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

DeLillo utilizes Babette throughout his novel in a similar way to how he uses Jack. In a similar way to
Jack, Babette serves an unformed character towards the beginning of the novel and is built to present
death s uncertainty as one prevalent theme throughout the novel. Some of the evidence which DeLillo
uses to illustrate Babette as a portrayal of death s uncertainty includes Babette s work with the elderly,
Babette s use of Dylar to escape her fear of death, and Babette s obsession with Wilder s ignorance of
death. Firstly, DeLillo goes through the same effort of assigning Babette a symbolic passion which he
goes through with Jack s character. Babette holds the same fervor for her classes teaching the elderly
which Jack holds for his Hitler studies. In this way, Babette serves as a reflection of Jack s character.
Comparatively, while Babette holds many different positions within her life, she also goes to great
lengths to primarily focus on her coaching position in the same way that Jack focuses on his Hitler
studies position. DeLillo employs this same heavy focus on the elderly through Babette s character in
order to press forth his theme of death s uncertainty. Accordingly, in order to gain certainty concerning
death, Babette constructs her employment around the elderly. Consequently, Babette utilizes her
position heavily in order to maintain an intimacy and understanding of death while distancing herself
from death s uncertainty. Babette s classes with the elderly become a means of assessing death s
uncertainty while also existing as Babette s form of understanding it. Secondly, Babette s use of Dylar
towards the end of the novel is a perfect example of her character being faced with death s uncertainty.
Babette turns to using Dylar in order to face her fear of death s uncertainty. As Babette states

6. Krishna And Dionysus Similarities
The gods that people worship, devote themselves to, and even kill for are more alike than different.
Being humans, religious sects clash in debates, in the classroom, in our city halls, and on the
battlefield. They only question what is different between their beliefs rather than question what may
be extremely identical. Jesus, Krishna, Zoroaster, Dionysus, Mithra, and others were all birthed by the
will of their respective god. They showed their holiness by performing unimaginable acts that seem
like magic. They died and were resurrected to ascend to the heavens. That leaves the important
question of what else is related.

Krishna angered the nature gods who then flooded the land. He told the villagers to take their cattle to
a mountain. He then lifted the mountain with his finger to save the villagers. Jesus healed the sick and
could supposedly raise the dead like the young girl shown in Mark 5:42: Immediately the girl stood up
and walked around (she was twelve years old). At this they were completely astonished (NIV).
Dionysus was able to bring people back from the underworld like his mother, and Horus was able to
bring his father Osiris back to life. Dionysus was the wine god who had enough power to make wine
without water when Jesus could turn water to wine. A guard tried to prevent Zoroaster from entering
the King s palace when he made a ball of fire and held it in his hand; consequently, the guard was
amazed and let him pass. All of the stories have the basic homogeneous motive, which is to prove to
people that they are in fact incarnations of God or the Gods. If they in fact did do these things, then
one of some of them must be wrong because they can t all be incarnations of God. That is true unless
they are a retelling of the same basic story with different cultural additives that influenced ways the
stories were

8. The Issue Of Unauthorized Downloading And Piracy
Copyright policies have always been an issue throughout history, with the advancement in technology
digital piracy being a fairly new phenomenon has made it necessary to reevaluate and update
copyright policies to the 21st century. When comparing the Canadian and US copy right and piracy
laws it is evident that although there are similarities and differences, the Canadian approach proves to
be effective at protecting the owners of the works in the issue of unauthorized downloading and
piracy. It is important to understand what Piracy and copyright laws are, how they effect society and
the artists, to better control the copyright policies.
With an increasingly high number of new technology being invented and innovated so often the issues
pertaining to digital piracy are a relatively new phenomenon. Digital piracy is defined as unauthorized
copying of digital software, videos, documents, and audio without permission from or compensation
to the owner of the copyright (Wolfe Higgins, 2009). While piracy is against the law, it is something
many people will commit without knowing or without an understanding of what they are really doing.
It is argued by some artist that piracy is a current issue, although the use of some piracy can aid their
work. Unauthorized downloading can be a form of word of mouth advertising leading to an increase in
digital purchases (Silva Ramello, 2000). Piracy laws need to adapt to the continuously advancing and
changing technology. Cablevision is

People say learning a foreign language is a waste of time and resources. Many Americans believe the
English language is the most dominant in the world so what s the point of learning another language?
It is a common believe that the English language is the most spoken language in the world, however it
is actually not. Furthermore, learning a foreign language does more than just being another way to
talk, write, or read, learning another language brings benefits. A foreign language is useful in many
ways such as Mandarin which is the most spoken language in the world, or being able to connect to
foreign cultures, and it also useful in national security.
Many Americans believe there is no need in learning a foreign language because English is the most
dominant language and is being taught in every other country which is true, however there is one
language more dominant, Mandarin. Many believe English is the most spoken language in the world
however there are more than twice as many speakers of Mandarin Chinese as of English which shows
that the English language is not as dominant in the world as people believe (Paul). America is slowly
becoming a multilingual society mostly because of the Spanish language. The Spanish language is
spoken in the U.S by 37 million people which is double of what it was in 1990 (Paul). Americans are
becoming increasingly multilingual every passing year. However, some Americans choose not to adapt

22. The Discovery of Penicillin
Today we often take for granted just going to the doctor and getting medicine to fix any illness we
may have or pain that we are feeling. There hasn t always been the privileges that we have today, back
in the 1800 s and early 1900 s it wasn t uncommon for people and children to die from just a minor
scratch, pinpricks, scarlet fever, or any minor diseases. Hospitals were full of people with infections
spiraling out of control, but there wasn t anything available for them. Our soldiers fighting for our
freedom were destined to perish due to gangrene and amputations from battle wounds, the conditions
were unsanitary and the simple dose of an antibiotic was unheard of. It is hard for our civilization to
appreciate the medical ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Due to the introduction of penicillin during World War II the majority of our soldiers were able to
return home to their families as healthy as they were before they left. World War II was the mightiest
struggle mankind has ever seen. It killed more people, cost more money, damaged more property,
affected more people, and caused more changes in nearly every country than any other war. Some
researchers say that penicillin was the key top secret weapon that helped the allies win World War II.
At the end of World War II the medical advancements that had been discovered were then made
available to the rest of civilization (Medicine and World War II). If any good can be said to come of
war, then the Second World War must go on record as assisting and accelerating one of the greatest
blessings that the 20th Century has conferred on Man the huge advances in medical knowledge and
surgical techniques. War, by producing so many and such appalling casualties, and by creating such
widespread conditions in which disease can flourish, confronted the medical profession with an
enormous challenge and the doctors of the world rose to the challenge of the last war magnificently,
Brian Ford (Medicine and World War Two). With World War II at an end we have now began a whole
new war. The war of bugs vs.

23. Comparing Learning To Skate And Brown Onion
heme Literary Analysis Try things that is unfamiliar to you, you might enjoy it. There is a common
theme in the passage Learning to Skate and Brown Onions. In addition, there are similarities and
differences in the authors approach to the theme. In Learning to Skate, Linda doesn t want to skate,
but finds out that she likes it ,after she tries it. Similarly, in Brown Onions, Erika thinks she hates
onions, but after she tries them she likes them. One similar theme in each text is that you don t know
what you like until you try it. On the other hand, there is a difference between the two texts. In one
story, Linda gets forced to try skating and in, Brown Onions, Erika s dad makes a bet with her. In both
texts, the theme is based ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In Learning to Skate, Her mom forced her to go. In Brown Onions, her dad made a bet with her to try
the onions. In the first text, Learning to Skate, the way she tried skating was her mom forced her to do
it. I know this because the text states, This is the last weekend the rink is open, her mother said. I m
going out of town for work. And you re going skating with your father, (par. 20). This shows that the
events in the story are influenced by the characters and in this story Linda s mom forces her to skate.
In Brown Onions, the text states, I ll make you a deal. You try a cheeseburger with these onions on it,
and if they are as bad as you say they are, I ll eat anything you want, (par. 18). Furthermore, Deal. Call
me when they re done, (par. 23). This proves that in, Brown Onions, her dad makes a bet with her
instead of forcing her to try new things. In the end, in these texts, Learning to Skate and Brown
Onions, share a common theme. The plot in each story is different because of the way they tried new
things. In one story, the child is forced to try something new. While in the other story, the father makes
a bet with her. Through these texts, the reader can learn that trying new things isn t

24. Purpose Of Government In The United States
What is the purpose of government? Many of us wondered about this from the beginning of the year
and more importantly, as we walked into the government room. Now, as we round out the year, we
have learned all about government and what it s purpose truly is. We look back and view many of
those stating what they think the government is. That is when we have to figure out what they are
saying.
Thomas Jefferson was one of the many important presidents in our country. Jefferson states that The
purpose of government is to enable the people of a nation to live in safety and happiness. Government
exists for the interests of the governed, not for the governors. As one of his most famous quotes, we
can see why it is so important. First of off, it is portrayed through the quote that the government is
supposed to be there for the people. It is not just there to strengthen the country, and leave the people
alone, fending for themselves. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
They are there to help and engage the people of the country to help make it better. We can see this
through many laws and reforms that were made which help many of us Americans. Programs such as
Medicaid and Medicare, which help the elderly and poor improve their living conditions, and even
improve their physical wellbeing. It is also important in protecting many from all of the dangers that
come within and outside of our country. We have a military that does a great job, but if we didn t have
someone there to protect us, then who would? The answer would be no one. We would have a
government which is a mess, and would leave people fending for themselves. That would only leave
more turmoil for the generations after

Problem/Issue Statement
The problem presented by Joseph Armand Bombardier is the upcoming third round of ERP
implementation in his organization. Even though a big improvement over the efficiency and success of
execution between the first ERP round (Mirabel plant) and second round (Saint Laurent plant), there is
still room for improvement.
The focus is to identify the practices vs. the best of the best practices in the industry in relation to ERP
implementation and offer specifics on how to make this third round provide a higher success rate.
Main Problem: The rollout of ERP at the Mirabel plant and then followed by the Saint Laurent plant
did improve, but still had their fair share of challenges. Our area of improvement will be from the
results given after ERP went live at Saint Laurent. The main problem appears to be still be a
disconnect between the business vs. project team and properly communicating and training those who
will be using the new ERP system (SAP in this situation). While the overall response was positive, not
every issue from the Mirabel plant has been corrected and resolved.
Symptoms: A few symptoms mentioned was that specialized knowledge was concentrated in a few
individuals, embellishing the scorecards to mask some of the issues, gaps in understanding of priority
between project team and actual business, and finally some feedback on wanting SAP to have done
more for an individual s current job.
The scope of the problem involves the

27. The Status Of Women In Algonquian Society
The status of women is directly tied to the culture in which they live in. Mary Jenison lived in both
english colonies and with indians, she analyzed both societies and women s role in both. John
Winthrop documented the 1600 s view on women through his journal. The status of women in
Algonquian and Iroquoian society. The Europeans viewed the structure of Native American society
lacking the complexity of their own community. Their drawings and accounts of the Indian people
reveal that the tribe s division of labor and gender roles were actually very advanced, especially where
the status of women was concerned. Since married women in Europe held few rights to their property,
family wealth, or even children, women of the tribes had greater independence and discretion over
their produce, conditions of labor, and property. Native women even served as representatives in the
tribal councils, and held rights over the land they worked. This demonstrates that although women s
work was belittled in European cultures, Native women s daily contributions were recognized by
Native men and the tribe as a whole as vital to the prosperity of the community and worthy of respect.
Analyzing the condition of women in America, a woman s status in their community was directly
related to the social hierarchy, religious culture, and natural environment in which they lived, and that
the combination of those ingredients varied vastly across the continent. In the english colonies,

28. College Education Vs Non Traditional Education
Today there is a growing gap between educated and uneducated Americans. The upper middle class
seem to expect nothing less than a college degree, while lower income families risk missing a college
education, so they can go straight into the workforce. To get nontraditional students on the path of a
college education, it would greatly benefit them and society. To get these students to apply for college
would help to break the cycle of upper middle class diversity, allow lower income students to start
thinking about college, and help to boost the economy.
As pointed out by David Leonhardt, diversity in elite colleges is considered an upper middle class
student from California and an upper middle class student from New York sitting in the

29. The Process Of Matching Hospitals And Residents
Problem
Initial Solution
The process of matching hospitals and residents was chaotic and confusing before the NRMP began to
be used in 1952. The main way hospitals chose medical students was to extend an offer to the student
as early as they could. The demand of the hospitals was greater than the number of students looking
for residencies, prompting considerable competition among hospitals for interns. 1 This competition
lead to hospitals presenting students offers earlier than others could. With offers so early, hospitals
could not know the final class standings or grades of the students by the time they finished school.1 In
the most extreme cases, hospitals would send offers to students two years preceding the internship.1 In
1926, the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The small adjustments began in 1945; the first of which would help students by resolving that
hospitals should allow students 10 days after an offer had been made to consider whether to accept or
reject it. 1 In the year 1946, another change was made and students were given up to eight days to
respond.1 In 1949, the AAMC proposed that appointments should be made by telegram at 12:01 A.M.,
November 15, with applicants not required to accept or reject them until 12:00 noon the same day.
Even this 12 hour waiting period was rejected by the American Hospital Association (AHA) as too
long 1. They agreed on the Appointment of Interns which contained that no specified waiting period
after 12:01 A.M. is obligatory 3. Even after these changes were made, it was clear that there were still
problems in the matching process. In order to avoid these problems and the costs they imposed, it was
proposed, and ultimately agreed, that a more centralized matching procedure should be tried 1.
Second Iteration of the Solution
Ultimately, the students were unhappy with modified original system. Their decisions had to be made
quickly and without the ability to consider other offers. The hospitals had to select students before the
students had developed any notable skills or even knew their specialty. Named as a form of congestion
and market failure by Roth in 2008, it was evident that changes in the residency matching program
needed to be made. Thus,

Which advice would you mostly agree with? In Fear of Heights: Teachers, Parents, and Students Are

equivalently as teenagers dating, going to the malls, caring about their cars, and doing fast food jobs.
However, extracurricular activities should not only be categorized as the quote says; it also can
express as science clubs and volunteering. In addition, extracurricular activities are important to
students on learning team skills, leadership skills, internship skills, and social skills because many jobs
also need these abilities even though they only ask for high level of education. For example, if
someone is doing business, they will need leadership, social, and team skills so that they could work
with other works and negotiate with other companies. Therefore, after school activities can help
students to prepare their career after they graduate from high school. Extracurricular activities are

Positioning relates to strategy, in the specific or tactical development phases of carrying out an
objective to achieve a business or organization s goals, such as increasing sales volume, brand
recognition, or reach in advertising. It is basically a technique of creating an image in the minds of the
customers. PepsiCo tried to position its product for the society as a whole and for the purpose of
refreshment. Pepsi positions itself on points of difference as well as points of parity. Pepsi s POD is
their forward thinking attitude. Many different methods are presented to customers on basis of which
people relate to any of their product whenever someone thinks of soft drinks. Pepsi s Brand

35. An Observational Study Design That Could Be Appropriately...
An observational study design that could be appropriately used by an APN to study the above research
question is a cross sectional study design. Important questions to make this study applicable, is it
appropriate; is the characteristics between prevalent and incident cases a factor; have other
explanations been ruled out?
According to Curley Vitale (2012), the cross sectional study determines the exposure and outcomes at
the same time. It provides a snap shot at one point in time. The information obtained was about the
relationship of Tuberculosis and the White Ethnic group of males during a single point in time, 1993
and 2011. Cross sectional studies are applicable for screening the hypothesis due to the fact they
require a small time frame and minimal resources to manag e.
Cross sectional study design has been utilized to comprehend the prevalence of diseases, treatments,
services and outcomes. Cross sectional study strengths contain surveys that are inexpensive and takes
a shorter time to complete, and can provide descriptive data about the population of people involved in
the study. The study can be useful for assessing risk factor prevalence rate, a means to compare
groups, has the ability to study fatal diseases within a smaller population, and can study multiple
exposures (Curley Vitale, 2012).
Cross sectional weaknesses are unable to measure or determine exposures exactly because the
outcome and exposure is done simultaneously. There can be bias of variable
