African American pioneer. She believed that truth is so strong that it cannot be hindered, and it will
eventually be known. Ms. Baumfree had the powers to express and motivate people on what she
believes in through her words and wisdom. Isabelle Baumfree wrote one of the most famous women
right s speeches known today called, Ain t I a Women , in which she uses purpose, audience, content,
tone, and structure to get her message across.
To begin with, the speaker of Ain t I a Women is Isabelle Baumfree. Isabelle Baumfree was born in
Hurley, New York on 1797. Unfortunately, she was born into slaves, and like most slaves, she
experienced the agonies by being brutally beaten and abused. As indicated in her biography, In late
1826, she escaped to freedom with her infant daughter, Sophia. Her other daughter and son stayed

Math has many different categories within itself and for this project, we had to observe and solve
problems on certain college placement tests. There were many college placement tests to chooses from
but I wanted to choose the college I want to go to and the test that I wanted to answer. I chose the
Monmouth Mathematics Placement Test and Barton College Practice
Placement Test. For each one, we had to categorize how many questions were in each type of math
whether it was algebra, geometry, or calculus. The Barton test had 64 geometry problems and 16
trigonometry problems while the Monmouth test had 50 problems which were all algebra.
I answered the Barton test because I liked the different variety of algebra problems it was consisted of.
The Monmouth test I will do at a future date because that is where I wanna go and it will help me
practice math and help me pass their placement test. I was actually surprised about both of their tests
because I thought they were gonna be a lot harder. Most of the problems seemed like Algebra 1 and I
believe I have excelled in that since freshman year. They both had problems on their tests that were

1950 s to 60 s. Influenced by the recent World War II, the heartache and depression that came over a

greater influential power and that meaning is created through ones own free will) views and opinions.
In that regard, it challenged the existence of God, and forced people to create their own morals. The
Theatre of the Absurd also focused largely on looking through a philosophical paradigm. Sometimes
appearing as there is no plot to the play, the Theatre of the Absurd had non linear plot developments
and went against general theatre conventions. Things that were considered a structure of human life
such as time, place and identity were often distorted to an extent where the characters became
confused on where they were or who they were, and therefore easily fell out of the rhythm of normal
