Sitting Bull was born sometime between 1831 and 1837 there is not an accurate record of his birth
he was killed on the fifteenth of December 1890. Sitting Bull became the Leader of the Sioux tribe
in his mid twenties. Sitting Bull had been living on the Standing Rock reservation in the Dakota
Territory since 1883. In the fall of 1890 General Nelson A. Miles caught wind of Sitting Bull
taking an interest in the Ghost Dance Religion. He wanted Sitting Bull arrested immediately so
just before daylight on the fifteenth of December 1890 the Indian Police surrounded Sitting Bulls
cabin. One of Sitting Bulls followers fired a shot at the Indian police when this happened the
officer returned fire at the man who fired the first shot then he fired a bullet that struck Sitting
Bull in the head. The man who said his bullet was the one that killed the chief was a sergeant of
the Indian Police at Standing Rock named Red Tomahawk. Before his death Sitting Bull stated I
wish it to be remembered that I was the last man of my tribe to surrender my rifle.

the conditions. Through this familiar scene, Melville layers the setting and characters to build up a
distinct mood for this passage. Specifically, he pulls dark romanticism into his writing by
paralleling Ahab s monomania and the deterioration of the crew. To establish an ominous
atmosphere and describe the impending doom of the voyage, Herman Melvillecombines many
forms of figurative language like sinister similes and the eerie personification of the Pequod with
suspenseful imagery.
Melville utilizes similes in order to build suspense and emphatically compare evil laughter with
rising flames. The laughter and flames are unpredictable and fill the ship with noise and
unbearable heat, almost engulfing it. In the passage, he compares the two ideas by stating, as their
uncivilized laughter forked upwards out of them, like the flames from the furnace. Melville
connects the menacing behavior of the crew and maniacal laughter to Ahab, as he also exhibits

Kudler Fine Foods website needs a redesign. The website has no real good information other
than directions to their stores, and while this information includes maps, it lacks store hours.
Based on designs of other food stores like AJ s Fine Foods (AJ s Fine Foods, 2012) , Sprouts
Farmers Market (Sprouts Farmers Market, 2012) and Whole Foods (Whole Foods Market, 2012)
, the website is lacking in many areas that would lead customers from website to brick and mortar

A few additions that should be included in the overall site, is a catering section, an area for a
customer to get home delivery of some of their groceries and an area for recipes. There should
be a calendar of events for each store such as cooking classes, and charity and community events.
There should be a customer service area where email and comments go directly to store managers.
There should be contact info that includes store addresses, maps and hours as well as store,
pharmacy, bakery and meat counter phone numbers. There should also be a log in area for

To accomplish great things, we must not only act, but also dream; not only plan, but also believe.
People often get dreams mixed up with goals. Maybe it s because they don t know the difference
