The Value of a Life Countries less privileged than America face the reoccurring issue of being
taken advantage of. This occurs because these countries have high unemployment rates and are
in poverty so they are given jobs through American factories. This process, though, is not always
a fair one. Haiti and China are both countries with bad labor regulations, usually by American
influence, and this hurts the welfare of these countries as a whole, the individuals in these
countries, and the morality of America. Dupuy (2014) writes that Haiti s people, trapped
working in factories for cheap labor, are faced with a hard life and various brutalities. Both
adults and children must live these lives of horrible situations where they have no other choice
than to work at extremely low wages because of Haiti s poverty levels. Whether they are sent
away from their families to live in the city, in order to have a better life, or they re born poor and
go to the city to work everyday, these people do not live a good life. The children who work have
long hours, usually from early dawn until night, and go home, sometimes only to be abused.

The Outsider By Albert Camus
Albert Camus novel The Outsider follows a young French Algerian, Meursault, who lives his day to
day life detached from the rest of the world. Along with his indifference towards others, Meursault
has alienated himself from society with his absurdist ideas and blatant honesty. Camus has
structured the novel into two parts. In Part I we see Meursault s routines, habits and general
reactions to daily events around him. At the end of Part I Meursault kills an Arab man which

A common theme found within The Outsider is Absurdism. Camus wanted to show how Man s

size of 187 which was exceeded as the data includes 17,786 operations.

The BTS reported a total of 5,819,079 operations nationally with an on time rate of 79.92% and
Oklahoma had 17,786 with an on time rate of 77.29%. The national on time rate was applied to

I vividly remember and most appreciate professors that connected theoretical content of a lecture to
their daily practices and experiences. Professors that shared experiential knowledge, allowed me to
gain deeper understanding of the content and practical applications. This combination allowed me
to quickly implement new practices in my classroom early in my teaching career and tools early in
my management career. I hope to be a higher education educator who makes experiential
connections and adds a practical dimension to my classes through the incorporation of real world
experiences. I believe this will allow future teachers to walk away with practical tools and
knowledge to better provide students with a 21st century education. Providing experiential and
theoretical knowledge will support teachers professional and academic growth by increasing their
overall knowledge.
Great teachers are the primary resources for improving instruction and preparing students for the
future (Sa, 1997). Students that have access to quality teachers and innovators, stand a greater
chance at competing in the workforces and positively impacting their communities (Peske Haycock,
2006). To position our current and future educators for success, professors that can create deep and
meaningful connections with their students stand a greater chance of successfully positioning our

Hindus believe that ones circumstances in life are completely determined by his previous
conduct, either in this life or in previous lives. This is called karma. By doing good deeds in this
life, therefore, one can improve his circumstances in the future, especially in future

The third time I visited Vera, I started testing her understanding of object permanence. I did the
same test as last time, with putting her teddy under the blanket. Right when I put the bear under
the blanket, Vera reached under and retrieved the teddy. Since she was able to do that, I tried the

of life on earth have the element of life, the element of survival. Through feeding and excretion
