weather (Foster 75). If there s one element of a literary work that can easily affect a scene, it is the
weather. Weather in literature can vary greatly from rain to snow to hail to fog and onwards. There
is one type of weather, however, that is prominently featured within Albert Camusnovel The
Stranger, and that is hot, sunny weather. The novel s protagonist Meursault frequently makes
remarks of the weather surrounding him, from the blazing sunat his mother s funeral to the blinding

Classifiers are handshapes we use in American sign language (ASL) to show the movement,
placement, orientation, size, and shape of a noun. Since ASL is a rule governed language when
using classifiers you must first identify the noun, then you can use the classifier to show how the
object moves or is placed in relationship to other objects (Aron). American sign languageuses eight
different kinds of classifiers for specific categories.
Since classifiers cover a wide variety of uses there are several categories that a classifier can be
used for, as a Descriptive classifier (DCL) which is used for describing an object or a person.

... This afternoon I spent about a half an hour on the phone with Mrs. Poirier discussing the
details of my lecture that I will prepare for the freshman students for the Essentials of Dental
Radiography didactic class. Students will be reading the chapter before the actual lecture so that
they will be familiar with the subject. Mrs. Poirier asked to use the student s text book as a main
source for the lecture and come up with some activity that actively engages the students during the
lecture. She also suggested creating a short quiz that I can hand out to the students to assess their
understanding of the lecture material. This quiz may be graded and used as one of their pop quiz
depending on Mrs. Poirier s decision. The lecture time will be 30 minutes and ten minutes for class
activity after the PowerPoint presentation.
Today I read chapter 5 from The Essentials of Dental Radiography text book to gather information
for my lesson plan. As I was reading the text, I was able to recall information that I learned four
years ago when I was in the freshman class in the Dental Hygiene Program. I will probably have to
read the chapter a few more times to memorize the content of the chapter to minimize looking at my

meant by the contract. The literal approach to contract interpretation means that when looking
over a contract, words are assigned their ordinary meaning. Words are interpreted literally, as they

weavers and owned the land and livestock, which was passed on to their daughters, who were
trained to manage them. The Navajo farmed squash, corn, and beans. Some other fruits and
vegetables in their diet were wild celery, wild onion, wolfberry, wax currant, juniper berry, and
