Abstract The JPEG 2000 image compression standard is designed for a broad range of data
compression applications. The Discrete Wavelet Transformation (DWT) is central to the signal
analysis and is important in JPEG 2000 and is quite susceptible to computer induced errors. However,
advancements in Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs) provide a new vital option for the
efficient implementation of DSP algorithms. The main goal of project is to design multiplier less and
high speed digital filters to design DWT. The convolution and lifting based approach posses hardware
complexity due to multiplier and long critical paths. The Distributed arithmetic architecture is
implemented to achieve multiplier less computation in DWT filtering, it is based on Look up table
approach, which may lead to a reduction of power consumption and the hardware complexity. DA is
basically a bit serial computational operation that forms an inner product of a pair of vectors in a
single direct step. To speed up the process the parallel DA is implemented. In the parallel
implementation, the input is applied sample by sample in a bit parallel form.

Molecular cuisine, a relatively new style of cooking, is taking the world by surprise and changing the
way food is prepared, cooked and looked at. People are asking a lot of questions such as Is it safe?,
What kinds of chemicals are used?, Who decided to start this whole thing?, How did it start, and
when?, and What kind of equipment do the cooks use? These are all very good questions and the
answers are out there, they just have to be found. Food and science have been combined to create
something extraordinary called molecular cuisine. The question that is probably going through the
reader s head by now is What is it? Well, molecular cuisine is physics and chemistry applied food to
create different flavours, textures and to amaze the five senses. It is also another way of preparing
food to provide other ways of cooking and to create more possibilities for cooking food. There are
many other names for molecular cuisine such as molecular gastronomy, avant garde cuisine,
experimental cuisine, modern cuisine, and modernist cuisine. The now late oxford physicist Nicholas
Kurti and French chemist Hervé This came up with the term molecular gastronomy for the new style
of cooking/science they started experimenting with back in the 1980 s. People are definitely interested

Lacrosse is a team sport that originated in the St. Lawrence Valley area, around 1546. It is played with
a small rubber ball, a long stick with a sort of basket at the end, and padding (it is a contact sport). The

The mistake was not accounting for the impact first person narration had over placing the characters
and narrative action within their proper context in the original comic. This mistake is vividly apparent
in a scene where Batman is on one of his first adventures to fight crime in his costume where he
attacks three teenagers that are in the middle of robbing an apartment. The scene does not have much
action to it besides the rookie Batman almost throwing one of teens off a fire escape then saving him
and fighting off the other two accomplices. After Batman defeats them and saves the other boy he lies
on the ground for a bit and mentally scolds himself for being a lucky amateur . The scene in the
original comic is much more different as Wayne s emotions, feelings, observations, the context of
actions, and his pain are much more apparent. They are portrayed through Wayne s first person
narration which is where most of the visual and mental content comes from in the scene, all of which
is almost inexistent during the scene in the animated version. Instead of slowly uncovering something
else Batman was feeling during that scene through his first person narration, all that was compressed
and saved for when Wayne is on the ground scolding himself. The original scene was filled with
emotional and narrative context and when compared to the brief scene from the movie, which still
makes its point, the comic simply blows the movie out of the
