The War in Kashmir
Culture can be defined as learned patterns of perception, values, and behaviours, shared by a group of
people, that are dynamic and heterogeneous (Martin Nakayama, pg 32). The purpose of this paper is to
present research on a conflict involving different cultural groups. The paper will integrate library
research as well as focus on two specific aspects of conflict for my research. Those aspects will be; the
history of the relationships between cultural groups and culture conceptions of women. The war in
Kashmir is the cultural conflict I have chosen to research.
Kashmir is located between the nations of India and Pakistan, for which these two nations share
cultural and historical connections. Which neither historical links have helped in contribution to a
solid resolution between these two countries. Like Kashmir, India and Pakistan are home to various
cultural groups such as Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist, Christian and Sikh. However certain cultures over
shadow others; India is dominantly Hindu while Pakistan is dominantly Muslim. While both cultures
are so closely linked there are specific differences such as Muslims, who follow the belief of Islam,
believe in a monotheistic god and a possible judgement day, while Hindu faith is polytheistic and has
views towards reincarnation.
While historically the conflict within Kashmir is one of territory and not cultural, Pakistan has
recently used their religion, primarily the notion of a Jihad, holy war, to justify their

Implementation Of A Comprehensive Incident Management...
BLTYH S BOOKS INCIDENT SECURITY MANAGEMENT POLICY AND THE ISO/IEC 27035
The ISO/IEC 27035 standard embodies the acceptable practice for the management of information
security and ascertains the guidelines for the initiation, execution, maintenance and enhancement of
information security management in organisations. The ISO 27035 standard is proposed to be a guide
for emergent organisations in developing and implementing their information security policies. The
implementation of this standard will improve an organisation s capability of tackling information
security incidents adequately as well as allay the negative effects of such incidents either directly or
otherwise on their business operations. Proposed by this standard are five phases which organisations
are encouraged to adopt in preparing for information security incidents.
Blyth s Books information security incident management policy needs to reflect the advised activities
expressed in the five phases of incident management to be ISO 27035 compliant.
PLAN AND PREPARE
The plan and prepare phase is quite broad. This phase comprises of the establishment of a
comprehensive incident management structure, the formation of an Information Security Incident
Response Team (ISIRT), creating awareness for the incident management structure and the testing of
such structure. Blyth s Books should include in their incident management policy a more
comprehensive review of the vulnerabilities that are presently associated with their

Women s Duration Of Criminal Crimes
I would respond to my friend s comment by disagreeing with her/him while supporting my own
claims. The amount of crime women commit compared to the amount of crime men commit is still
less in our society (Lecture). Women s duration of criminal offenses usually starts earlier and ends
earlier (Lecture). Men on the other hand usually commit crime later and they commit crime over a
longer duration of time. Women that commit crime differ in the type and seriousness of crimes they
commit compared to the type and seriousness of crime committed by men (Lecture). Men and Women
are also committing different crimes if they commit any at all. Men focus on serious and violent
crimes, along with white collar crime. Women in comparison seem to be focused on property crime
and minor crimes, while prostitution is the crime that women beat out men in arrest rate date shown
throughout module 1 s articles.
To address your friend s opinion that women are catching up to men s level arrest you need to explain
to her/him that women rates of arrest have not changed much over time. Female rates have not been
rising and there has been very little, if any, changed in the gender gap... (Schwartz, et al. 2009).
Women commit crime, but usually minor crimes compared to men. While men commit more crime
than women and continue to commit crime. According to the article Looking for Patterns: Gender,
Age, and Crime states that ... (1)although violent offenses make up only a small percentage of all the

TITLE OF PAPER Buddhism, Confucianism, and Taoism are religions that developed in the East.
Although each of these religions possess characteristics unique to itself, they share one thing in
common in that they are all religions. Their classification as religions depend on the definition of the
word: religion. Webster s Dictionary defines religion as The outward act or form by which men
indicate their recognition of the existence of a god or of gods having power over their destiny, to
whom obedience, service, and honor are due. Frederick Streng s attempt to define religion as, a
process whereby people reach beyond themselves to connect with the true and ... Show more content

Buddhists certainly recognize the existence of gods, and they practice many outward acts and forms to
show this. Buddhists show their obedience, service, and honor to the Buddha, who is not a god, by
memorizing and preaching his teachings, praying to him, dedicating temples and rituals to him, and
making offerings to him. This is Webster s lone strong point in its definition of religion regarding
Buddhism, and it fails to hold true. The Gautama Buddha claimed that people should not worship him,
because he is now in Nirvana gone from existence. Therefore, there is no true obedience, service, or
honor that is due to the Buddha or any god in Buddhism, because they have no power over one s
destiny. If one were to exclude having power over their destiny, to whom obedience, service, and
honor are due from Webster s definition, then perhaps Buddhism could be a religion according to
Webster. This is certainly not the case in Buddhism. Gods do not hold any power over any being s
destiny outside of their own. The good or bad karma a being generates is the destiny one constructs for
itself. These myopic flaws of Webster s definition are impossible to ignore; based on its definition,
Buddhism would not be a religion, and its definition would relegates Buddhism to nothing more than
practices that appear to be religious but are

Mise-En-Scene in Napoleon Dynamite
In Napoleon Dynamite (Jared Hess, 2004), the character known as Napoleon Dynamite (Jon Heder) is
quite a unique fellow. His quirkiness and eccentricity are what make him as a character; they are the
primary traits of his personality. Keep in mind, however, that he is not the only odd character in the
film, but he has his own peerless way of defining himself separate from any other character(s). This
effect is achieved through certain cinematic techniques that director Jared Hess utilizes in order to
bring out Napoleon s persona in ways other than simply guessing who he really is. Rather, these
techniques explicitly imply certain character traits; they are like clues that allow one to see the
character just as the creator intended. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This not only shows his weakness as a person, but his immaturity as well, considering that high school
students typically do not resort to this sort of behavior; it is normally reserved for younger children.
He is a figure of mockery to nearly everyone at school, his uncle Rico, even his own brother Kip.
Albeit he hardly tries to defend himself, he does attempt to make up for it by trying to look cool, but in
extremely ineffective ways. The initial instance of this phenomenon of Napoleon s is when he first
meets Pedro. He brags that a gang at his school wanted him to join (specifically for his bow staff skills
), which is almost certainly not true. Also, he tells Don a ridiculous, overly exaggerated story when he
went to Alaska the previous summer. He claims that he went wolverine hunting with his uncle, and
shot like fifty of em . Either there is an entire flipside to Napoleon s character that is never revealed, or
he is embellishing a story that may not even exist in the first place. The latter seems like a much more
reasonable conclusion.
Not only does he fail to seem cool to the people at school, but he does not exactly have the best skills
in picking up women. In more blunt words, he is just not very smooth. One example of this is when he
talks to Deb in the cafeteria, and uses the corny pickup line, I see you re

Introduction: a) The Olympic Games is an international event featuring summer and winter sports, in
which athletes participate in different competitions. Since the Olympic Games began they have been
the competition grounds for the world s greatest athletes. First place obtaining gold; second silver and
third bronze. The Olympic medals represent the hardship of what the competitors of the Olympics
have done in order to obtain the medal. Olympic medals could be used as a unit of measure of
athleticism.

When using this linear function, we can see that the function is somewhat accurate for the years 1956
1972. Unfortunately in other years, the linear function is not a good representation. Because of these
differences, the linear equation found is not a perfect representation of the given data.
Developing a Function with Technology:
After further examination, a new function must be formed to better fit the data given. This function
which I now believe fits the data well is the quadratic function. I believe that the quadratic is a good fit
because the data seems to take the same shape as a quadratic, x and y values both rise in a gradual
way.
The general quadratic function is as follows:
Using technology we can find the values of all variables: a , b , and c
Technology has found the following variable values.

Mental Health And Mental Illness
People are afraid to step forward and admit to having a mental illness. Society has made it such a
taboo thing to the point where people are afraid to even talk about. This is what twenty one year old
Kaelia Nelson, a pageant queen originally from Hemingford, Nebraska, focused her platform on. She
was recently crowned as Miss Alliance, and would have competed at Miss Nebraska in June of 2018.
Unfortunately, Kaelia lost her battle against her mental illness. Kaelia was a junior studying education
and was involved in numerous activities including being a flyer on the Peru State College cheer team.
Mental illness does not have a face. It can affect anyone, even a pageant queen. We have seen
countless of stories like these everywhere. We send our love and our prayers to those families whose
entire lives have been turned around, but we need to acknowledge mental illness in today s society and
stop the stigma. Mental illness is a serious issue that no one is paying attention to. Many people have
been affected, especially young adults, but how many more innocent lives need to be taken before
people start to act. Mental health is important, especially in young adults, and it should no longer be
ignored. To understand the importance of mental health, we must first recognize what it means. The
World Health Organization states that mental health is defined as a state of well being in which every
individual realizes his or her own potential and can cope with the normal stresses of

The clarinet is a woodwind instrument that are typically used for orchestral bands, jazz bands, and
other genres of bands.
There are five pieces to the clarinet, the mouthpiece, barrel, upper joint, lower joint, and the bell.
Assembling a clarinet at first seems quite difficult because it has the most pieces in the woodwind
family, but in actuality it is quite easy once you do it once or twice. When you assemble, clarinet
players typically start with the bottom and up. Although there is not wrong a way to assemble the

US Intervention In Vietnam
To what extent was US military intervention in the Vietnam War justified? This paper will examine the
causes of the conflict and why the US got involved. The paper will inspect the US relationship and ties
with the different countries and parties involved in the conflict. The paper will also look at various US
policies, such as foreign policy and the containment of communism, and the public opinion of the war.
Effects of the war will also be looked at as a reference, but these effects will not be the focus of the
paper. Both secondary and primary sources will be utilized to provide context and obtain a clearer
understanding of the tension in the war.

The US did not want to help France reinstate colonial rule but at the same time knew that a Vietminh
victory would result in a loss of another area to communism (Gurtov 24). After France was defeated,
the US started to get directly involved and in the Geneva Conference, still wanted to explore more
military solutions (Messing 1309; Schulzinger 72). The Geneva Accords failed to keep the peace as
the US did not agree to its final declaration (Messing 1312). It is assumed that the United States is
bound by the Geneva accords and its actions should correspond with the accords (Messing 1320).
According to the US legal advisor, in this case the US actions are justifiable because North Vietnam
had broken the accords first; however, there is little evidence to support this claim and convincing
cases can be made that say the opposite (Messing 1321). Even if North Vietnam had broken the
accords first, the United Nations Charter article 2, paragraph 4, unlike traditional international law
makes such forcible self help an unlawful means of withholding compliance with an international
government (Messing 1321). While the US involvement in the war is legal to some extent, there is
enough evidence to cause debate in the other

The Plight Of Young Males Analysis
The war against males
In the essay The Plight of Young Males written by Saul Kaplan, the author has discussed that while
the male gender s evolution has come to a near standstill, there has been significant development on
the female side of education in recent years. I agree with the author in every point that he has
discussed in his article. Kaplan has mentioned in his article that the male s future is not very bright, as
with the contemporary type of schooling system, it has been made for admission not for success,
which is not the best for students.
Although it is very important to support the empowerment of women, we shouldn t forget about what
is happening in the other side with males. Males are facing a lot of issues and impediments that are
preventing them from succeeding in the society. For many years women s groups have protested that
boys have more benefits from the school s regulation than girls do, but now girls are experiencing a
kind of psychological foot binding. Over the past decade in the American education, boys were
annoyed about being obstacles on the path to gender justice for girls. This perspective has been
indorsed in schools by teachers as they feel that girls need more protection. It is obvious that males are
the leaders in our society and in most of the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

way in many groups, including further and higher education like collage. Schools have currently

about. Instead, schools need to shift themselves more to focus on the individual desires of all enrolled
students to be better and ready to face the real world. Kaplan have mentioned a lot of points that some
people thinks that they are overrated, but In my opinion I think they aren t.

Essay on The Untruthfulness of Language
Untruthfulness of language Throughout the play King Lear, written by William Shakespeare the theme
of deception and the manipulation of language is the very root of the tragedy. The language used by
individuals affects the relationships around them, hides the dark nature within them and creates fights
between friends and family. The theme of deception goes hand in hand with the theme of appearance
vs reality since most of the characters alter the way they seem to others so they don t know what they
really are capable of. Throughout the play language is the cause to all the problems, since the
characters that are best at twisting their words, are only interested in improving their own lives and
gain more land as well as power. These ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Gods, forgive me that, and prosper him! (Gloucester, 3.7.91 93) At this point of time, Gloucester has

Role in Inducing and Maintaining the Pluripotency of Mice...
Several members of the zinc finger family of proteins are key components in the transcriptional
network maintaining pluripotency in embryonic stem cells. The mouse zinc finger protein 322a
(Zfp322a) is expressed in embryonic stem cells and the ICM. Thus Ma et al. 2014 hypothesized that
Zfp322a functions as a transcription factor in mice. Ma et al. (2014) discovered that Zfp322a is an
irreplaceable transcription factor which enhances the reprogramming ability of OKSM (Oct4, Klf4,
Sox2, and c Myc) and can replace Sox2 in OKSM in the generation of induced pluripotent stem cells
(iPSCs).
First, in order to determine whether or not Zfp322a is a transcription factor in mice, the authors
analyzed its expression in mouse embryonic stem (mES) ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
A gene ontology search revealed that Zfp322a is involved in diverse cellular processes. A microarray
approach determined that Zfp322a is able to directly repress and activate a number of the genes it
binds. Importantly, this microarray approach confirmed the author s previous observation that Zfp322a
represses the MAPK cascade.
Previously, two nodes in the transcriptional network maintaining pluripotency were identified by Chen
et al. 2008. Interestingly however, Zfp322a did not preferentially interact with either the c Myc or
Sox2/Oct4 transcription factor clusters. Zfp322a s 10 C2H2 zinc finger domains bind the major
groove of DNA (Lodish et al. 2013), and may give Zpf322a the ability to bind a diverse array of DNA
sequences. In support of this hypothesis, no DNA consensus sequence for Zfp322a binding was
identified. Zfp322a co localized equally with all 12 of the transcription factors tested. Coupled with
Zfp322a s dynamic ability to concomitantly repress differentiation, these observations suggest a more
profound role for Zpf322a. From the genome wide analysis of Zfp322a regulation the authors
concluded that Zfp322a is an integral component in the pluripotency regulatory network.
Zfp322a may contribute to chromatin remodeling associated with maintenance of mES chromatin. Ma
et al. 2014 identified a large number of genes enriched with Zfp322a that were involved in chromatin
modification,

Comparing Brave New World And Man s Search For Meaning
The stories of Frankl, Mustapha Mond, and Ivan share several similarities and differences. In Viktor
E. Frankl s Man s Search for Meaning, he tells us that finding the meaning of life is finding our
happiness and we must not avoid bad situations. A short story called Brave New World by Aldous
Huxley, Mustapha Mond is one of the ten controllers of World State. In this story we learn that people
in a World State are brainwashed to accept what they are given and told to do, and by that keeps them
stable and happy. Another short story is Gooseberries by Anton Chekhov where we are introduced to a
character, Ivan, who believes people like his brother, Nikolai, repress their emotions in order to remain
happy. Frankl and Mustapha Mond both believe in happiness, disagree on whether or not there should
be distance from reality, and Frankl also disagrees with Ivan on how suffering should not be ignored.

wants and needs happiness will have the motive to find one s meaning of life. In the story called Brave

No civilization without social stability. No social stability without individual stability (Huxley 9).

Discuss The Use Of Symbolism In Cat s Crad
During the Cold War, tensions were high between the United States of America and the USSR. These
two countries held massive power and weapons that would be able to destroy the world with a single
button. Because of the tension of nuclear war, The United States was in constant fear that one wrong
move by any country involved could result in human extinction. Cat s Cradle by Kurt Vonnegut uses
symbolism to relate the setting, characters, and events to the Cold War that was taking place at the
time the book came out. The book uses symbolism that attracts the reader with fictional characters that
unfortunately participate in these events, that can relate to the what if factor of the Cold War.
One setting of Cat s Cradle is on the island of San Lorenzo; it is a small island in the Caribbean that is
ruled by the dictator Papa Monzano. The symbolism of San Lorenzo is that it resembles what Cuba
was during the Cold War. Vonnegut makes it known that the people of the island nation only follow

around one main character named John Singer, a deaf mute. These characters are representative of all
people and not just their specific characters in the novel. McCuller s is characterized as a Southern

the sexual alienation of their desolate lives. This novel was considered one of McCuller s best works,

He is somewhat of a motherly figure to him; always looking out for him, and then wanting to take
custody of Antonopoulos when he is sent to the mental hospital. Singer sends him a love letter and

again. My vacation is not due for six months but I think I can arrange it before then. I think I will have
to. I am not meant to be alone and without you who understand. Singer is very lonely without
Antonopoulos, and his dream after he writes the letter describes Singer and Antonopoulos naked on
the street. This dream of two naked men is somewhat of a homosexual fantasy in itself. The gifts he
sent Antonopoulos are not very masculine either, such as the night clothes and the slippers. When
Singer hasn t seen his friend in six months, he decides to take the train to visit him. He gathers some

worker tells him that Antonopoulos is dead, Singer goes into a state of shock. Singer s love for his

The symbolism in this novel is everywhere. Consider John Singer s disability to hear and speak. A gay

public. They were not able to express themselves, as the gay s today are able to, nor

Bend It Like Beckham Analysis
Bend It Like Beckham , directed by Gurinder Chadha is a 2002 comedic sports film, based in London,
England. The plot follows an athletic 18 year old girl; Jesminder Bhamra and her strict parents who
detest Jess passion and love for playing soccer as it refutes their family s Indian Sikh religious morals.
Jess feels a lot of pressure and guilt throughout the film as she is ultimately betraying her family, yet
everyone in her team supports her, including the coach, Joe who tries to convince Jess that her parents
don t always know what s best for her. In every family, there is often a distinct line between what a
person wants to do and achieve, compared to what their parents and family members expect of them.
This cliché can be easily applied to many of the characters including Tony Jess best pal, Juliet Paxton
the player who suggested Jess joined the local team and Jess with their conflicts between their
families. Aside from being the main character in the film, Jesminder suffers the worst conflict between
her parents and family, throughout the entire storyline. Despite her parent s wishes and concerns
towards Jess passion, she makes the decision to secretively continue to spend hours in the local park
playing with other passionate male players whenever she could spare the time. This soon brought on
an offer from a player from the local soccer team, who was amazed by Jess skills, and she soon joined
the team, all without her parent s knowing. As mentioned earlier,

The Importance Of Parent And Child Relationships
Amongst many of the important relationships formed between people throughout life, a parent and a
child s relationship is the most important. Parent and children relationships are formed from either one
s biological parent or their adopted parents. The relationship between these two types of formation are
always formed. It s obvious this relationship will be life lasting, since a person s parents will always
be involved in their life. The factors that play out when these relationships first start to form are, the
social, physical, and cognitive development. The term parent child relationship refers to the unique
and enduring bond between a caregiver and his or her child. To understand the parent child
relationship, we must look at the ways that parents and children interact with one another physically,
emotionally, and socially. (Dance Schissel 2017)
Over time theories have arisen that parents are teachers to their children. In other words, what a child
learns comes from their parents first, and then other influences throughout their life. Lev Vygotsky
viewed parents as masters and the child as an apprentice in learning. (Dance Schissel 2017). Diana
Baumrind researched that parenting styles come from three different types. Authoritarian, are parents
that are very strict, unbending and inflexible. These types of parents tend to control every aspect of
their children s life. The second parenting style she came up with was, authoritative parents are firm,
loving and kind.

Interpreting Northern Ireland By E. Moxon-Browne
Summary of a Review E. Moxon Browne s review of John Whyte s Interpreting Northern Ireland was
quite favorable. Moxon Browne discusses first Whyte s unbiased approach and dedication to the North
Ireland Conflicts. He emphasizes that Whyte had spent his entire life dedicated to researching and
summarizing the problems and solutions in the North Ireland conflict. Moxon Browne goes on to
cover Whyte s interpretations and understanding of the topic. Whyte states that the viewpoints of
Nationalist, Unionist, Marxist, and Internal Conflict are the main ways to interpret the North Ireland
conflict. Moxon Browne agrees that these four are the predominant ways to view the conflict,
however, he accentuates Whyte s belief of many, varied solutions ... Show more content on

Controversy swarms this topic because many believe partition to be an inherently evil British concept,
along with it being one of the main causes for an escalated North Ireland conflict. John Whyte covered
this topic using the Organizational Process method. When Britain decided to return Ireland to a state
of Home Rule, the Ulster unionist backlash was huge. Faced with a crisis, Ireland s officials were slow
to act. Britain stepped in to try to hastily resolve the conflict. British parliament proceeded to view the
conflict along pre established nationality lines of Catholic nationalists and Protestant unionists.
Parliament ignored the fact that many Protestant unionists were not organized or firm on their position
against Home Rule. Britain did not understand that Protestant unionists were able to be coerced or
appeased without partition. Britain also chose to partition because it was one of the first solutions
presented, one that they were quick to use in foreign affairs. They failed to realize that countries like
India and Palestine were thrown into decades of turmoil because Britain or Britain s allies chose to
partition the countries. Partition was also one of the resource efficient ways of calming down the Irish.
After entering WWI, British attention was not fully focused on the North Ireland conflict. After hastily
pushing Home Rule through, the final rejection

Teaching And Learning At The City Of Athens Essay
Every school has its own story to tell. The context in which teaching and learning takes place
influences the processes and procedures by which the school makes decisions around curriculum,
instruction, and assessment. The context also impacts the way a school stays faithful to its vision.
Many factors contribute to the overall narrative such as an identification of stakeholders, a description
of stakeholder engagement, the trends and issues affecting the school, and the kinds of programs and
services that a school implements to support student learning. The purpose of the Executive Summary
(ES) is to provide a school with an opportunity to describe in narrative form the strengths and
challenges it encounters. By doing so, the public and members of the school community will have a
more complete picture of how the school perceives itself and the process of self reflection for
continuous improvement. This summary is structured for the school to reflect on how it provides
teaching and learning on a day to day basis. The city of Athens is located in Limestone County in
North Alabama surrounded by the nearby cities of Madison, Huntsville, Decatur, and Florence. The
city of Athens is comprised of an approximate population of 23,000 people. The demographic makeup
of Athens is 77% White, 17% Black, 4% Hispanic, and 2% other races (Asian, American Indian,
Pacific Islander, or two or more races). According to the 2010 Census, the median income for a
household in the city of Athens is

Essay on Child Development Observation
In this assignment I am going to describe a child observation that I have done in a nursery for twenty
minutes in a play setting. I will explain the strengths and weaknesses of naturalistic observation
through the key developmental milestones based in Mary Sheridan (2005) check list and provide a
theoretical explanation to support the naturalistic observation.
First of all I would like to explain why the child observation is important for social workers. It is
important because it focus on the problems that arise when a child s situation is not taken seriously
and consequently have harsh consequences for both worker and child (Climbié Report, 2002).
Observation is something that leads to formation of hypotheses and gives new insights ... Show more

At this stage, the child s thinking changes over time.
The observation made me reflect and discover the child s interests, I could assess his developmental
levels and I have observed what strategies were being used to attain their goals. After the observation I
reflected upon it and realised that I have learned a lot about their personalities and skills that they need
to practice.
Secondly, it is important to consider the strengths of naturalistic observation as a method. This was
identified when the child was consistently moving and doing different activities that allowed me to
understand how he communicates with other children, how he behaves and what he learns from
others. In the play setting the child was able to develop his thinking and according to the Framework
for the Assessment of Children in Need and their Families (DOH, 2000) through social relationships,
the child was encouraged to express his feelings, emotions, which was achieved by the setting creating
an enjoyment environment.
Cognitive developments allow the child to begin to understand and interact with the environment and
see things from the carer s point of view, adjusting behaviours accordingly and understanding that the
carer has goals and plans, therefore, and the relationship is seen as partnership. Cognitive skills are
necessary in adapting to the environment. As Hendey and Kloep (2002)

Nt1310 Unit 3 Assignment Effect
Semiconductor Nano crystals or quantum dots are materials that are typically 2 20 nm in diameter,
consisting of approximately twelve to fourteen thousand atoms. The effect of quantum confinement
results, in the electrons and holes in the Nano crystal to exhibit quantized energy states; thus enabling
them to exhibit novel physical properties that are not found in their bulk counterparts. Research in
semiconductor quantum dots started with the realization that the optical and electronic properties of
these particles were strongly dependent on particle size, due to quantum confinement of the charge
carriers in small spaces.
1.2 Quantum Confinement Effect
This concept can be explained using the term band gap, a property that is characteristic of
semiconductors. The band gap can be defined as the difference in energy between the valence and
conduction band and is typically in the range of 1 3 eV for semiconductors. In bulk materials the
energy bands are a continuum of energy levels arising from the overlapping of the atomic orbital s due
to the large number of molecules. When a semiconductor is brought to the Nano scale, containing
lesser number of molecules, the quantized energy levels become distinct. Thus the addition or removal
of atoms significantly changes the energy levels within the band making the band gap size dependent.

The figure depicts the excitation of an electron into the conduction band thus leaving a hole in the
valence band. An electron hole pair is called an exciton, and the natural physical separation between
them is called the excitonic Bohr radius and is characteristic of each material. Thus when a
semiconducting material approaches a size nearing its Bohr excitonic radius, the exciton is said to be
confined within the particle and is called quantum

Women have already started to show their courage indistinctively against all the opposing factors such
as upper caste monopoly, political interferences moreover the government itself. The emancipation
starts from the low level in their own community and Bama is a vibrant recorder of such superwomen

the world how versatile and capable the indignified dalit woman is.
Ponnuthayi , a short story by Bama, explores the dark side of internal patriarchy and a determined

character Ponnuthayi. Her ability to reverse the dynamics that entrench gender inequality results in
attaining the superwoman self. Here Ponnuthayi s life becomes eventful when she becomes the wife of
an alchaholic and abusive man Mookandi. She is not ready to be the silent victim of her husband s
atrocious nature and thus decides to break the shackles of the marriage institution which confines her.

White Collar Crime Costs American Tax Payers
White collar crime costs Americans tax payers an estimated $300 billion annually (White collar
Crime), but more importantly hurts millions of American emotionally and financially who put their
trust in stock market and financial institutions. Surprisingly, even with the astronomical cost only a
few perpetrators are ever indicted and even fewer receive any sort of punishment for their greed and
selfishness. On October 1, 2014 Florida had witness a rare indictment of not one or two but three
Florida bankers trying to side step FDIC into giving them a subsidy loan over $3 Million. Donald
Terry Dubose, Frank A. Baker, and Elwood Woody West were all indicted on twelve different counts

Mohandas K. Gandhi once proclaimed, There is no occasion for women to consider themselves
subordinate or inferior to men (Gandhi n.p.). Women all throughout the world have been forced to
endure innumerable hardships and struggles. Merely accepting women as a rightful component of
society and a necessary aspect of culture has taken countless numbers of years. And to this day,
unfortunately, gender equality has yet to become a reality for many. Certain judgments and stereotypes
have been placed onto women from the very beginning of time. The belief that the female gender

From the beginning, Emilia can be seen as one who is entirely loyal and faithful to her husband, Iago.
Under the Cult of Domesticity it would be downright unacceptable for a woman to defy her husband.
Women were considered to be subservient to almost the entire male gender. Emilia s husband, Iago,
was a character who most would admit did not deserve much respect or loyalty at all. Iago would
continuously use his wit and intelligence to manipulate others only to further his own position in
society. Iago, with a great lack of sympathy for those he was hurting, focused solely on reaching his
end goal of self glorification. Despite Emilia s dissatisfaction with her marriage, she managed to
maintain composure in the beginning of the play. At one point in Act II, Iago makes a bold claim
stating that women, including Emilia, only speak their minds when the men are no longer present. He
believes they would not dare defy the rules of society in front of others. However, in privacy, Iago
surmises that these rules quickly vanish. Emilia then proceeds to respond to the accusation in none
other than a simple and respectful manner (Shakespeare 2.1.115 124). Shakespeare introduced Emilia
into his play as a stock character, one who represents a common stereotype. Whether or not it is
truthful, this excerpt clearly illustrates

The Jacksonian Democratic Party
When George Henry Evans cited the unalienable rights of the Declaration of Independence and that, to
secure these rights against the undue influence of other classes of society, prudence... dictates the
necessity of the organization of a party, who shall...prevent dangerous combinations to subvert these
indefeasible and fundamental privileges , he called for a party to become the sentinel of the original
American democracy. And for many, the Jacksonian Democratic Party filled that role. The Democrats,
who pursued a democracy that entailed economic and social independence for the common citizen,
faced harsh opposition from the Whig Party in the Second American Party System. But apart from the
political tensions of the era, the mid 1800 s ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
But Daniel Webster s response postulates that the veto message sows...the seeds of jealousy and ill
will against the government of which its author is the official head and that it puts forth claims to
powers heretofore unknown and unheard of . However, given the vast amount of influence the
government had in the bank, the President would have had equally vast power. Additionally, these
powers heretofore unknown and unheard of must also apply to the establishment of a National Bank,
which on several occasions has been accused of being a grossly unconstitutional use of federal power.
Therefore, Jackson s actions indeed represented honorable goals of economic equality. In the same
vein, the Charles River Bridge vs. Warren Bridge Supreme Court Case highlighted the benefits of
laissez faire economics, a fundamental principle of the Democrats. Chief Justice Roger B. Taney s
declared that, while the rights of private property are sacredly guarded, we must not forget, that the
community also have rights, and that the happiness and well being of every citizen depends on their

Hotmail and Yahoo. With each email account, the user is assigned a specific quota that specifies the
amount of space the account can have at a given time. If the cyber criminal sends large amounts of

The café latte attack relies on a user s laptop being connected to a Wired Equivalent Privacy (WEP)
protected network and tricks the user into sending thousands of WEP encrypted ARP (Address
Resolution Protocol) requests. An ARP is a network protocol that maps together a network layer
address and a data link layer hardware address. For example, an ARP is used to resolve IP addresses to
their corresponding Ethernet address (Leyden, 2007). For a café latte attack to be successful, the cyber
criminal does not have to be in the same area as the user but can also be in a remote location to
intercept the WEP key. A cyber criminal can take advantage of the message modification flaws in the
802.1WEP architecture and the shared key authentication by flooding a network with encrypted
Address Resolution Protocol (ARP) requests. A café latte attack functions by using a bit flipping
technique that modifies the Media Access Control (MAC) address and Internet Protocol address (IP
address) of a user s computer which is collected when gratuitous ARP requests are sent from the cyber
criminal. When the user responds to the gratuitous ARP requests, the cyber criminal can quickly crack
the WEP key from the user s traffic. With a café latte attack, a cyber criminal can obtain the WEP key

Tomboy: A Real Phenomenon or a Social Construct I was adopted at the age of 13. I was so consumed
to make my new family happy that I did everything I could to try and make them happy. One thing
that they seemed especially involved in was the game of hockey. Both of my brothers played it and so
did my little sister. All of them had started by the time they turned three. So, when I joined the family,
I also joined them in their love for the sport. Despite being years behind in experience with other kids
my age, I quickly picked up on the game (thanks to my brothers and dad). It wasn t until freshman
year that things begin to get complicated. There was no girl s hockey team, so being stubborn like I
am, I joined the boys high school hockey team.

Summary Of Build An Ark
promised Noah that he and his family would not be destroyed with the evil people. Build an Ark God
told Noah. When he finished you and your sons and your wife and your son s wives will go into the
Ark, God added. You will live there until the flood is over. God told him to bring one male and female
of every kind of animal into the Ark and enough food for all the people and the animals.
It is believed that Noah had Granddaughters. But if so then why did they not go into the Ark. From
what I can understand Noah s three granddaughters married wicked men and forsake the house of their
fathers. They joined the wicked and their father s beliefs. So they were punished as the wicked were
punished and drowned in the flood.

So more than likely Satan wanted Jonah dead for many reasons but mainly: 1) He saw that Jonah was
going to be a prophet of the Lord. 2) That Jonah saved hundreds and probably thousands from wrath
of God. 3) Satan just likes destruction and wants all to die and burn in Hell.
The number of years Noah was building the Ark. How many years did it take him? How did you come
to this conclusion? The bible doesn t really say how long it took, but it was less than one hundred and
twenty years. (Genesis 5:32, 6:4, and 7:6) Some people have made the claim that this passage means
that it took Noah one hundred and twenty years to build the Ark. Even given the Ark s massive scale.
(Roughly four hundred and fifty feet long by seventy five feet wide by forty feet high), one hundred
and twenty years seems like an excessively long time to take to build the Ark. Most biblical scholars
agree that God was saying the he was giving mankind, one hundred and twenty years in which to
repent, after which would come judgement for their wickedness. This means that Noah had one
hundred and twenty years warning before the flood. We can reasonably assume that God gave Noah
the blueprints for the Ark at this

How Warfare Techniques Have Changed The Construction Of A...
There are many Warfare methods created for a castle. For instance, there is the Trebuchet, there are the
battlements (Merlins and Embrasures), the catapults, and much more! I ll be telling you how these
warfare techniques have changed the construction of the castles!!
The first thing I will be telling you about is the Trebuchet, A trebuchet is a catapult like engine which
uses a swinging arm to throw a projectile at the enemy. It is used to throw rocks (Boulders), dead
animals and humans, fireballs, and much more things. Trebuchets were apart of the attacking
defending team of the castles. This means that this would cost money because the people in the castle
would need to get supplies. The reason the Trebuchets influenced castle construction is that when the
people of the castle new that the enemies would have the trebuchets they would need to build higher
walls so when things start to fly at the castle they would want to have something that would block the
flying obstacles. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

hit by arrows, boulders, and more. This is why Merlin and Embrasures were influenced for castle

  • 2. The War in Kashmir Culture can be defined as learned patterns of perception, values, and behaviours, shared by a group of people, that are dynamic and heterogeneous (Martin Nakayama, pg 32). The purpose of this paper is to present research on a conflict involving different cultural groups. The paper will integrate library research as well as focus on two specific aspects of conflict for my research. Those aspects will be; the history of the relationships between cultural groups and culture conceptions of women. The war in Kashmir is the cultural conflict I have chosen to research. Kashmir is located between the nations of India and Pakistan, for which these two nations share cultural and historical connections. Which neither historical links have helped in contribution to a solid resolution between these two countries. Like Kashmir, India and Pakistan are home to various cultural groups such as Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist, Christian and Sikh. However certain cultures over shadow others; India is dominantly Hindu while Pakistan is dominantly Muslim. While both cultures are so closely linked there are specific differences such as Muslims, who follow the belief of Islam, believe in a monotheistic god and a possible judgement day, while Hindu faith is polytheistic and has views towards reincarnation. While historically the conflict within Kashmir is one of territory and not cultural, Pakistan has recently used their religion, primarily the notion of a Jihad, holy war, to justify their ... • 3. Implementation Of A Comprehensive Incident Management... BLTYH S BOOKS INCIDENT SECURITY MANAGEMENT POLICY AND THE ISO/IEC 27035 The ISO/IEC 27035 standard embodies the acceptable practice for the management of information security and ascertains the guidelines for the initiation, execution, maintenance and enhancement of information security management in organisations. The ISO 27035 standard is proposed to be a guide for emergent organisations in developing and implementing their information security policies. The implementation of this standard will improve an organisation s capability of tackling information security incidents adequately as well as allay the negative effects of such incidents either directly or otherwise on their business operations. Proposed by this standard are five phases which organisations are encouraged to adopt in preparing for information security incidents. Blyth s Books information security incident management policy needs to reflect the advised activities expressed in the five phases of incident management to be ISO 27035 compliant. PLAN AND PREPARE The plan and prepare phase is quite broad. This phase comprises of the establishment of a comprehensive incident management structure, the formation of an Information Security Incident Response Team (ISIRT), creating awareness for the incident management structure and the testing of such structure. Blyth s Books should include in their incident management policy a more comprehensive review of the vulnerabilities that are presently associated with their ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 4. Women s Duration Of Criminal Crimes I would respond to my friend s comment by disagreeing with her/him while supporting my own claims. The amount of crime women commit compared to the amount of crime men commit is still less in our society (Lecture). Women s duration of criminal offenses usually starts earlier and ends earlier (Lecture). Men on the other hand usually commit crime later and they commit crime over a longer duration of time. Women that commit crime differ in the type and seriousness of crimes they commit compared to the type and seriousness of crime committed by men (Lecture). Men and Women are also committing different crimes if they commit any at all. Men focus on serious and violent crimes, along with white collar crime. Women in comparison seem to be focused on property crime and minor crimes, while prostitution is the crime that women beat out men in arrest rate date shown throughout module 1 s articles. To address your friend s opinion that women are catching up to men s level arrest you need to explain to her/him that women rates of arrest have not changed much over time. Female rates have not been rising and there has been very little, if any, changed in the gender gap... (Schwartz, et al. 2009). Women commit crime, but usually minor crimes compared to men. • 5. Rn 1320 Unit 1 Research Paper TITLE OF PAPER John Lee 7725719 RLGN 1320 A01 November 21st, 2014 TITLE OF PAPER Buddhism, Confucianism, and Taoism are religions that developed in the East. Although each of these religions possess characteristics unique to itself, they share one thing in common in that they are all religions. Their classification as religions depend on the definition of the word: religion. Webster s Dictionary defines religion as The outward act or form by which men indicate their recognition of the existence of a god or of gods having power over their destiny, to whom obedience, service, and honor are due. Frederick Streng s attempt to define religion as, a process whereby people reach beyond themselves to connect with the true and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Buddhists certainly recognize the existence of gods, and they practice many outward acts and forms to show this. Buddhists show their obedience, service, and honor to the Buddha, who is not a god, by memorizing and preaching his teachings, praying to him, dedicating temples and rituals to him, and making offerings to him. This is Webster s lone strong point in its definition of religion regarding Buddhism, and it fails to hold true. The Gautama Buddha claimed that people should not worship him, because he is now in Nirvana gone from existence. Therefore, there is no true obedience, service, or honor that is due to the Buddha or any god in Buddhism, because they have no power over one s destiny. If one were to exclude having power over their destiny, to whom obedience, service, and honor are due from Webster s definition, then perhaps Buddhism could be a religion according to Webster. This is certainly not the case in Buddhism. Gods do not hold any power over any being s destiny outside of their own. The good or bad karma a being generates is the destiny one constructs for itself. These myopic flaws of Webster s definition are impossible to ignore; based on its definition, Buddhism would not be a religion, and its definition would relegates Buddhism to nothing more than practices that appear to be religious but are ... • 6. Mise-En-Scene in Napoleon Dynamite In Napoleon Dynamite (Jared Hess, 2004), the character known as Napoleon Dynamite (Jon Heder) is quite a unique fellow. His quirkiness and eccentricity are what make him as a character; they are the primary traits of his personality. Keep in mind, however, that he is not the only odd character in the film, but he has his own peerless way of defining himself separate from any other character(s). This effect is achieved through certain cinematic techniques that director Jared Hess utilizes in order to bring out Napoleon s persona in ways other than simply guessing who he really is. Rather, these techniques explicitly imply certain character traits; they are like clues that allow one to see the character just as the creator intended. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... This not only shows his weakness as a person, but his immaturity as well, considering that high school students typically do not resort to this sort of behavior; it is normally reserved for younger children. He is a figure of mockery to nearly everyone at school, his uncle Rico, even his own brother Kip. Albeit he hardly tries to defend himself, he does attempt to make up for it by trying to look cool, but in extremely ineffective ways. The initial instance of this phenomenon of Napoleon s is when he first meets Pedro. He brags that a gang at his school wanted him to join (specifically for his bow staff skills ), which is almost certainly not true. Also, he tells Don a ridiculous, overly exaggerated story when he went to Alaska the previous summer. He claims that he went wolverine hunting with his uncle, and shot like fifty of em . Either there is an entire flipside to Napoleon s character that is never revealed, or he is embellishing a story that may not even exist in the first place. The latter seems like a much more reasonable conclusion. Not only does he fail to seem cool to the people at school, but he does not exactly have the best skills in picking up women. In more blunt words, he is just not very smooth. One example of this is when he talks to Deb in the cafeteria, and uses the corny pickup line, I see you re ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Developing a Function with Technology: After further examination, a new function must be formed to better fit the data given. • 9. Mental Health And Mental Illness People are afraid to step forward and admit to having a mental illness. Society has made it such a taboo thing to the point where people are afraid to even talk about. This is what twenty one year old Kaelia Nelson, a pageant queen originally from Hemingford, Nebraska, focused her platform on. She was recently crowned as Miss Alliance, and would have competed at Miss Nebraska in June of 2018. Unfortunately, Kaelia lost her battle against her mental illness. Kaelia was a junior studying education and was involved in numerous activities including being a flyer on the Peru State College cheer team. Mental illness does not have a face. It can affect anyone, even a pageant queen. We have seen countless of stories like these everywhere. We send our love and our prayers to those families whose entire lives have been turned around, but we need to acknowledge mental illness in today s society and stop the stigma. Mental illness is a serious issue that no one is paying attention to. Many people have been affected, especially young adults, but how many more innocent lives need to be taken before people start to act. Mental health is important, especially in young adults, and it should no longer be ignored. To understand the importance of mental health, we must first recognize what it means. After France was defeated, the US started to get directly involved and in the Geneva Conference, still wanted to explore more military solutions (Messing 1309; Schulzinger 72). The Geneva Accords failed to keep the peace as the US did not agree to its final declaration (Messing 1312). It is assumed that the United States is bound by the Geneva accords and its actions should correspond with the accords (Messing 1320). According to the US legal advisor, in this case the US actions are justifiable because North Vietnam had broken the accords first; however, there is little evidence to support this claim and convincing cases can be made that say the opposite (Messing 1321). Even if North Vietnam had broken the accords first, the United Nations Charter article 2, paragraph 4, unlike traditional international law makes such forcible self help an unlawful means of withholding compliance with an international government (Messing 1321). • 13. The Plight Of Young Males Analysis The war against males In the essay The Plight of Young Males written by Saul Kaplan, the author has discussed that while the male gender s evolution has come to a near standstill, there has been significant development on the female side of education in recent years. I agree with the author in every point that he has discussed in his article. Kaplan has mentioned in his article that the male s future is not very bright, as with the contemporary type of schooling system, it has been made for admission not for success, which is not the best for students. Although it is very important to support the empowerment of women, we shouldn t forget about what is happening in the other side with males. Males are facing a lot of issues and impediments that are preventing them from succeeding in the society. For many years women s groups have protested that boys have more benefits from the school s regulation than girls do, but now girls are experiencing a kind of psychological foot binding. Over the past decade in the American education, boys were annoyed about being obstacles on the path to gender justice for girls. This perspective has been indorsed in schools by teachers as they feel that girls need more protection. It is obvious that males are the leaders in our society and in most of the ... Essay on The Untruthfulness of Language Untruthfulness of language Throughout the play King Lear, written by William Shakespeare the theme of deception and the manipulation of language is the very root of the tragedy. The language used by individuals affects the relationships around them, hides the dark nature within them and creates fights between friends and family. The theme of deception goes hand in hand with the theme of appearance vs reality since most of the characters alter the way they seem to others so they don t know what they really are capable of. • 15. Role in Inducing and Maintaining the Pluripotency of Mice... Several members of the zinc finger family of proteins are key components in the transcriptional network maintaining pluripotency in embryonic stem cells. The mouse zinc finger protein 322a (Zfp322a) is expressed in embryonic stem cells and the ICM. Thus Ma et al. 2014 hypothesized that Zfp322a functions as a transcription factor in mice. Ma et al. (2014) discovered that Zfp322a is an irreplaceable transcription factor which enhances the reprogramming ability of OKSM (Oct4, Klf4, Sox2, and c Myc) and can replace Sox2 in OKSM in the generation of induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs). First, in order to determine whether or not Zfp322a is a transcription factor in mice, the authors analyzed its expression in mouse embryonic stem (mES) ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... A gene ontology search revealed that Zfp322a is involved in diverse cellular processes. A microarray approach determined that Zfp322a is able to directly repress and activate a number of the genes it binds. Importantly, this microarray approach confirmed the author s previous observation that Zfp322a represses the MAPK cascade. Previously, two nodes in the transcriptional network maintaining pluripotency were identified by Chen et al. 2008. Interestingly however, Zfp322a did not preferentially interact with either the c Myc or Sox2/Oct4 transcription factor clusters. Zfp322a s 10 C2H2 zinc finger domains bind the major groove of DNA (Lodish et al. 2013), and may give Zpf322a the ability to bind a diverse array of DNA sequences. In support of this hypothesis, no DNA consensus sequence for Zfp322a binding was identified. Zfp322a co localized equally with all 12 of the transcription factors tested. Coupled with Zfp322a s dynamic ability to concomitantly repress differentiation, these observations suggest a more profound role for Zpf322a. From the genome wide analysis of Zfp322a regulation the authors concluded that Zfp322a is an integral component in the pluripotency regulatory network. Zfp322a may contribute to chromatin remodeling associated with maintenance of mES chromatin. Parent and children relationships are formed from either one s biological parent or their adopted parents. The relationship between these two types of formation are always formed. It s obvious this relationship will be life lasting, since a person s parents will always be involved in their life. The factors that play out when these relationships first start to form are, the social, physical, and cognitive development. The term parent child relationship refers to the unique and enduring bond between a caregiver and his or her child. To understand the parent child relationship, we must look at the ways that parents and children interact with one another physically, emotionally, and socially. (Dance Schissel 2017) Over time theories have arisen that parents are teachers to their children. In other words, what a child learns comes from their parents first, and then other influences throughout their life. Lev Vygotsky viewed parents as masters and the child as an apprentice in learning. (Dance Schissel 2017). Diana Baumrind researched that parenting styles come from three different types. Authoritarian, are parents that are very strict, unbending and inflexible. Faced with a crisis, Ireland s officials were slow to act. Britain stepped in to try to hastily resolve the conflict. British parliament proceeded to view the conflict along pre established nationality lines of Catholic nationalists and Protestant unionists. Parliament ignored the fact that many Protestant unionists were not organized or firm on their position against Home Rule. Britain did not understand that Protestant unionists were able to be coerced or appeased without partition. In the play setting the child was able to develop his thinking and according to the Framework for the Assessment of Children in Need and their Families (DOH, 2000) through social relationships, the child was encouraged to express his feelings, emotions, which was achieved by the setting creating an enjoyment environment. Nt1310 Unit 3 Assignment Effect Semiconductor Nano crystals or quantum dots are materials that are typically 2 20 nm in diameter, consisting of approximately twelve to fourteen thousand atoms. The effect of quantum confinement results, in the electrons and holes in the Nano crystal to exhibit quantized energy states; thus enabling them to exhibit novel physical properties that are not found in their bulk counterparts. Research in semiconductor quantum dots started with the realization that the optical and electronic properties of these particles were strongly dependent on particle size, due to quantum confinement of the charge carriers in small spaces. 1.2 Quantum Confinement Effect This concept can be explained using the term band gap, a property that is characteristic of semiconductors. The band gap can be defined as the difference in energy between the valence and conduction band and is typically in the range of 1 3 eV for semiconductors. In bulk materials the energy bands are a continuum of energy levels arising from the overlapping of the atomic orbital s due to the large number of molecules. When a semiconductor is brought to the Nano scale, containing lesser number of molecules, the quantized energy levels become distinct. Thus the addition or removal of atoms significantly changes the energy levels within the band making the band gap size dependent. Figure 1: A Schematic diagram of the energy ... Therefore, Jackson s actions indeed represented honorable goals of economic equality. In the same vein, the Charles River Bridge vs. Warren Bridge Supreme Court Case highlighted the benefits of laissez faire economics, a fundamental principle of the Democrats. Chief Justice Roger B. Taney s declared that, while the rights of private property are sacredly guarded, we must not forget, that the community also have rights, and that the happiness and well being of every citizen depends on their faithful preservation , justifying limited government intrusion in the ... • 32. Denial-Of-Service Attacks Figure 4: How Several Requests Sent to a Access Point Can Disrupt Network Service A cyber criminal can create a denial of service attack by sending spam emails to a network. The spam emails can be sent to an email account supplied by an employer or a free email account offered by Hotmail and Yahoo. With each email account, the user is assigned a specific quota that specifies the amount of space the account can have at a given time. If the cyber criminal sends large amounts of spam messages to a user s email account then the quota will be exceeded and prevent the user from receiving legitimate messages. When a denial of service attack is launched, the cyber criminal can also choose to deny authorized users access or limit their access by creating ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The café latte attack relies on a user s laptop being connected to a Wired Equivalent Privacy (WEP) protected network and tricks the user into sending thousands of WEP encrypted ARP (Address Resolution Protocol) requests. An ARP is a network protocol that maps together a network layer address and a data link layer hardware address. For example, an ARP is used to resolve IP addresses to their corresponding Ethernet address (Leyden, 2007). For a café latte attack to be successful, the cyber criminal does not have to be in the same area as the user but can also be in a remote location to intercept the WEP key. A cyber criminal can take advantage of the message modification flaws in the 802.1WEP architecture and the shared key authentication by flooding a network with encrypted Address Resolution Protocol (ARP) requests. A café latte attack functions by using a bit flipping technique that modifies the Media Access Control (MAC) address and Internet Protocol address (IP address) of a user s computer which is collected when gratuitous ARP requests are sent from the cyber criminal. When the user responds to the gratuitous ARP requests, the cyber criminal can quickly crack the WEP key from the user s traffic. With a café latte attack, a cyber criminal can obtain the WEP key in less ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 33. Tomboy Essay Tomboy: A Real Phenomenon or a Social Construct I was adopted at the age of 13. I was so consumed to make my new family happy that I did everything I could to try and make them happy. One thing that they seemed especially involved in was the game of hockey. Both of my brothers played it and so did my little sister. All of them had started by the time they turned three. So, when I joined the family, I also joined them in their love for the sport. Despite being years behind in experience with other kids my age, I quickly picked up on the game (thanks to my brothers and dad). It wasn t until freshman year that things begin to get complicated. There was no girl s hockey team, so being stubborn like I am, I joined the boys high school hockey team. ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 34. Summary Of Build An Ark promised Noah that he and his family would not be destroyed with the evil people. Build an Ark God told Noah. When he finished you and your sons and your wife and your son s wives will go into the Ark, God added. You will live there until the flood is over. God told him to bring one male and female of every kind of animal into the Ark and enough food for all the people and the animals. It is believed that Noah had Granddaughters. But if so then why did they not go into the Ark. From what I can understand Noah s three granddaughters married wicked men and forsake the house of their fathers. They joined the wicked and their father s beliefs. So they were punished as the wicked were punished and drowned in the flood. Who was Jonah s ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... So more than likely Satan wanted Jonah dead for many reasons but mainly: 1) He saw that Jonah was going to be a prophet of the Lord. 2) That Jonah saved hundreds and probably thousands from wrath of God. 3) Satan just likes destruction and wants all to die and burn in Hell. The number of years Noah was building the Ark. How many years did it take him? How did you come to this conclusion? The bible doesn t really say how long it took, but it was less than one hundred and twenty years. (Genesis 5:32, 6:4, and 7:6) Some people have made the claim that this passage means that it took Noah one hundred and twenty years to build the Ark. Even given the Ark s massive scale. (Roughly four hundred and fifty feet long by seventy five feet wide by forty feet high), one hundred and twenty years seems like an excessively long time to take to build the Ark. Most biblical scholars agree that God was saying the he was giving mankind, one hundred and twenty years in which to repent, after which would come judgement for their wickedness. This means that Noah had one hundred and twenty years warning before the flood. We can reasonably assume that God gave Noah the blueprints for the Ark at this ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 35. How Warfare Techniques Have Changed The Construction Of A... There are many Warfare methods created for a castle. For instance, there is the Trebuchet, there are the battlements (Merlins and Embrasures), the catapults, and much more! I ll be telling you how these warfare techniques have changed the construction of the castles!! The first thing I will be telling you about is the Trebuchet, A trebuchet is a catapult like engine which uses a swinging arm to throw a projectile at the enemy. It is used to throw rocks (Boulders), dead animals and humans, fireballs, and much more things. Trebuchets were apart of the attacking defending team of the castles. This means that this would cost money because the people in the castle would need to get supplies. The reason the Trebuchets influenced castle construction is that when the people of the castle new that the enemies would have the trebuchets they would need to build higher walls so when things start to fly at the castle they would want to have something that would block the flying obstacles. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... They look like mini/small walls that go up and down around all of the castle walls. The reasons the Merlins and Embrasures are influenced construction is because when there was a war these would act as little barriers for when archers would shoot, the defenders would duck because they would not be hit by arrows, boulders, and more. This is why Merlin and Embrasures were influenced for castle ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
