Wislawa Szymborska
Listening to my own sensual voice, I seemed to convey a very strong knowledge of the poem,
Hunger Camp at Jaslo by Wislawa Szymborska. I extracted the meaning of the poem and
supported my assumption strongly with examples of literary technique throughout the poem. I
scored myself in Criterion A, knowledge and understanding of the poem, with a 5. In terms of
Criterion B, appreciation of the writer s choices, I brought forth a wide range of literary device
examples ranging from alliteration and repetition, to metaphor and diction. I awarded myself with
a score of 4 in this category as although my examples were plentiful and supportable there was
certainly more room for analysis. In Criterion C, organization and presentation of the commentary, I
believe I left the most room for improvement while although I structured my arguments well and
delivered a clear and concise message there were... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In Criterion D, knowledge and understanding of the work used in the discussion, I felt I
conveyed excellent knowledge of Art Spiegelman s Maus, I cited the unique symbols and used
specific examples of both major and minor characters to explain how symbols connected to the
overall theme of the graphic novel. Consequentially, I awarded myself with a score of 5 in this
category. For Criterion E, response to the discussion questions, I felt that the questions
themselves could have been stronger and the limited time may have given me some issues in
terms of response strength, as a result I had a brief response that although strong, was certainly
too brief. I awarded myself with a score of 4 in this category. In the last, and perhaps most
academically relevant category Criterion F, language, I used very concise and academic diction as
well as a varying sentence structure and tone when appropriate. I think this one of my stronger
categories, as a result I awarded myself with a score of

Poor Law Of Homelessness Essay
To start to talk about homelessness we need to understand why there is homelessness and the
root of the problem. It may be hard to unscramble the issue from the beginning. The following
information was obtained from The History of Public Welfare in New York City, 1609 1866 by
Schneider, David M. We can start with the Poor Law which is the Act for the Relief of the Poor.
The 1683 Poor Law replaced the patchworks system of laws relating to the poor that had existed
in the English colony of New York. Passed by the provincial assembly, the colony s legislative
body, the new law applied to New York City, Staten Island, Long Island, and the upstate counties
and created a system similar to the one that already existed in the parts of the colony that... Show

In another perspectives teaching children to be in the bottom survive with little expectations and
they will not be allowed to ask for assistance in their future. The Poor Law of 1788 highlighted
the principle of local responsibility for care of the poor in the post Revolutionary state of New
York. In the immediate aftermath of the American Revolution, the state passed its first poor law
in 1784. This act for the settlement relief of the poor kept largely intact the system of poor relief
that had been in place in colonial New York. This new poor law set the specifications for
settlement and legal residency in New York City. The few settled were eligible for public relief.
In order be eligible people have to be born in New York City, paid taxes for two years, or worked

Ethical Ramifications Of Cloning
Cloning has been around since 1952 when Robert Briggs and Thomas King externally fertilized
and developed a leopard frog using somatic cell nuclear transfer. Though scientists had discussed the
need for communication about the ethical ramifications of cloning since as early as 1972, it was
not until the successful cloningof a sheep named Dolly in 1997 that cloning came to the forefront of
scientific and societal discussion. As a result of the continuity of fast paced scientific discovery, the
issues surrounding cloning of both animals and humans remain a hot topic, with people divided on
both sides of the controversy.

Understanding The Attitudes Of Others
Understanding the attitudes of others is critical in attempting persuasion. In the elaboration
likelihood model (ELM), persuasion splits into two routes: peripheral and central routes. These
routes determine the course of decision making; both are dependent on the individual s ability
and motivation (Gilovich et al., 2013). The proverb, you can lead a horse to water, but you can t
make him drink, is an assumption in that certain individuals will never change their attitudes. If
the proverb were true, then persuasion would have no credibility; so, this research paper will
dispute the proverb. There are ways to persuade and influence others, even if they are as stubborn
as the horse that will not drink. By reviewing past research on persuasion, resistance to persuasion,
persistence of change, and the effects of involvement on persuasion, this paper will give support
that certain methods can be done to change attitudes, leading to a higher chance of persuasion. Our
experiences and the experiences of those around us help create the beliefs which assist our decision
making. There are those individuals that strongly hold true to their personal beliefs and those who
feel uncertain towards their beliefs. Swann, Pelham and Chidester s (1988) research attempted to
change the beliefs of those individuals resistant to persuasion (Swann et al., 1988). They
constructed questions which remained consistent with the beliefs of the individual but, more
towards an extremist point of view.

The Colonization Of Uganda And Kenya
1.Introduction
The colonization of Uganda and Kenya is the reason why they are bilateral countries meaning they
share many of the same interest such as political interest, economic interests etc... Being colonized
by the United Kingdom has affected their history forever, and has made it extremely difficult to be
in the same state as the rest of the world but also allowed both countries to be close with each other
as they shared the same experiences. As they gained their independence, they later formed an East
African Community along with Tanzania who was also colonized by the UK which created many
benefits in the long run. In this paper, I will investigate the benefits of the East African Community
over time specifically with Kenya s and Uganda s trade with coffee.
1.1.Coffee History
Coffee trees were first introduced by the French which were located near the capital of Kenya,
Nairobi. Nairobi was used as the nucleus around which Kenyan coffee growing developed. The
British and European farmers became rich by farming coffee on the backs of the Kenyan workers.
With more experience, Kenyan farmers became more and more powerful. With over 1 million
Kikuyu tribe members calling it home they had real land claims according to the Europeans.
While Arabica was introduced at the beginning of the 1900 s, Robusta coffee is indigenous to the
country, and has been a part of Ugandan life for centuries. Over time growing coffee was not seen
as a job but more of a fun activity to do

George S. Patton Rhetorical Analysis
General George S Patton, also known as Old Blood and Guts, was by far one of the greatest and
most controversial generals within the U.S army during World War 2. Renowned for his
leadership of the Third Army, he was the center of controversy, such as the time when he called for
war against the Soviets (Wilcox, 2010, p. 112). In doing this, General George S. Pattonpainted
himself as an agitator, which is an individual who speaks of the violation or misappropriation of
the present form of society, but he does not hold it ultimately responsible for social ills (Lowenthal,
1948). According to the Portrait of the American Agitator, the average agitator George S. Patton fits
this description quite well, in the sense that he refused to capitulate to what could be deemed in
today s terms as political correctness. Unfortunately, as history has demonstrated, those who speak
out against public opinion are often scorned, ostracized and even subject to violence. Within
Blumenson s book, The Patton Papers, George S. Patton shares his unpopular opinion of the
Germans in a letter to his wife Beatrice:
The stuff in the papers about fraternization is all wet... All that sort of writing is done by Jews to
get revenge. Actually the Germans are the only decent people left in Europe. It s a choice between
them and the Russians. I prefer the Germans. So do our cousins... (p. 744).
Inarguably, these words written by Patton were possibly some of the most dangerous statements he
could

The Negative Effects Of Technology In Modern Society
Throughout the past couple decades, cell phones and laptops have become a large part of daily
life for most human beings. In fact, in today s society it is rare to find someone who does not
own some sort of cellular device. Although technology has many useful perks, it is beginning to
deteriorate our society s social skills and social life. Teenagers in today s world are too digitally
connected, and this brings along the negative effects of a decrease in real life conversation,
increased laziness, and more distractions in a number of different environments. The increased
use of technology in modern society is leading to a decrease in real life conversation. In The
Negative Impacts of Social Media on Face to Face Interactions, it states, Since it has become
more prevalent, social media has made people have a tendency to want to interact with people
online rather than in person because it has made the process simpler. From my own experiences,
this is true. I have seen multitudes of my friends struggle to interact with others in person because
they have become so used to texting them. As texting becomes normal for more people, having
real life conversations will become more awkward and difficult because they are not practicing
that skill. Due to teenagers being too digitally connected, there has been an increase in laziness.
Because technology does a lot of the work for this generation, there has been a decrease in doing
things the old fashioned way. In the article, 7

Theme Of Comradery In All Quiet On The Western Front
The psychologist Sigmund Freud once said, Because every man has a right over his own life and
war destroys lives that were full of promise; it forces the individual into situations that shame his
manhood, obliging him to murder fellow men, against his will. He initially stated this when he was
corresponding with Albert Einstein via letter. This quote is also a great explanation of the events
that take place during war that people chose to not recognise. War is terrible, and no matter how
hard we try, nothing will change that. Erich Maria Remarqueshows us that soldiers have endured
dreadfully throughout World War I
in his book All Quiet on the Western Front. The character in the
book, Paul Baumer, endures through the tragedies of war with some of his old schoolmates as
well as new comrades that he meets along the way. They survive through all of the tragedies
together, but in the end, the war made them lose their friendships as well as their lives. The reality
is that war comes with consequences while it destroys people, and there is nothing that will ever
be able to change that. The book All Quiet on the Western Front shows how war comes destroys
people s lives with its consequences through three of its themes: the importance of comradery, the
loss of innocence, and the horrors and brutality of war.
Comradery proved to be a great importance to all of the soldiers throughout the war. Whenever
somebody would get into a troublesome time, there was always another soldier

But not willingly, and I ll grumble while not doing it. Many relationships go through this same
sort of scenario at some point and how they weather it becomes the baseline for how that
relationship develops. We should force ourselves to take a step back and look at things in our hot
headed moments when arguments arise and attempt to apply empathy for an opposite point of
view. Compromise is this weird word with a bunch of taboo swirling around it. Inevitably, it gets
lumped in with the bad factors of a relationship, but it isn t as bad as it s painted half the time. The
simple fact is that some compromise is essential and regardless of your convictions, compromising
with the one you love is the proverbial honorable thing to do. Staying mindful of the reasons you
are with your other in the first place don t hurt either. So often we fall into the monotony of living
and become complacent and comfortable in our routines, sometimes taking for granted the person

Naturally acquired active immunity occurs when the person is exposed to a live pathogen,

Artificially acquired active immunity can be induced by a vaccine. A vaccine stimulates a primary

Technology In Agriculture
Agriculture has been an essential part of to the survival of humanity from the beginning, and we
rely on it now just as much as we did then. Fortunately, the technology used in agriculture has been
increased over time, and currently the Green Revolution is providing us with greater inputs of
fertilizer, water and pesticides, new crop strains, and increased technology as stated by Tillman and
others (2002). These advances modern agricultureis currently feed 6 million people, and it only
continues to increase (in both advances and in those fed). However, the global population is also
continuing to increase, allowing for there to be more agricultural output which are essential for
social stability and global politics as a whole. While this sounds good, doubling this food production
comes with major challenges. Tillman and others (2002) evaluate and explain these scientific and
policy challenges that are required to be met in order to sustain the entire agricultural production.
This will require fundamental shifts in institutions and policies because the concept of sustainable
agriculture must be adopted. Unfortunately, about half of the lands deemed usable by
agriculturalists are already in use, thus adding environmentally detrimental amounts of nitrogen and
phosphorus to terrestrial ecosystems at alarming rates. This makes sense when considering it is
known that food production uses fertilizers that contain phosphorus and nitrogen, and modern
agriculture is dependent on

Implementation of a Management Production Schedule for...
Realco Breadmaster Company It is very important for a business to have a master production
schedule because it enables companies to determine whether or not it is meeting the demands of
production. Businesses without a master production schedule are at a huge disadvantage
compared to businesses that do have a MPS. For example, a business can have many products in
stock but can miss out on its profits due to the holding cost. Not having a MPS can cause
businesses to lack in supply which can result into customers receiving their products very late. A
company known as the Realco Breadmaster Company has experienced what it is like to be in
business without a MPS. Johnny Chang, the owner of the Realco Breadmaster Company, would
like to adopt a MPS for Realco so that the company can get back on its feet. Here s a sketch of the
MPS. Demand Management 1st Week 2nd Week 3rd Week 4th Week 5th Week 6th Week 7th Week
8th Week Weekly Demand for Bread 23,500 23,000 21,500 15,050 13,600 11,500 5400 1800

to meet the needs of its customers. The MPS consist of an eight week period of shipments that are
scheduled to be delivered to the company. However, once the eight weeks are up, there will be an
abundance of inventory left over.

The Influence Of The Traditional Family Dinners
1. How has the traditional family meal changed from the 1950s until now?
Subsequent to watching the videos and comparing the differences between families back in the
1950 s and now, it is evident that there are many factors which have influenced the change in the
traditional family meal. Firstly, in the 1950 s there was more of a traditional family structure.
Therefore, the majority of families were nuclear, consisting of a mother, father, and children.
Nowadays, there has been major changes to the structure and definition of families. In today s
generation, the trend of marriage is decreasing, and divorce rates are rising, resulting in various
different family structures. For example, the percentage of single parent families has doubled
since 1961. Due to this, single parents are forced to work in order to support their families,
consequently leaving less time for family dinners. , Back in the 1950 s, family dinners were

Friedrich Nietzsche and Thrasymachus both depict their account of justice and morality. On the

Essay On Hate Crimes
The Stakeholders The Hate Crime Opponents The societal problem of hate crimes has many
stakeholders not only opposing hate crimes but also supporting them. Of the many stakeholders
opposing hate crimes, specifically those relating to a race bias, Black Lives Matter is the most
prominent one in the media. Black Lives Matter, which was founded on July 13, 2013, is an
activist community that strives to end the world of anti Blackness, where every Black person has
the social, economic, and political power to thrive (What We Believe). The Black Lives Matter
movement has recently been geared toward police brutality. Black Lives Matter believes that
police intentionally treat blacks differently and see them more as a threat than other races. They
believe that the police inflict violent behavior on blacks because of their skin color. The Black
Lives Matter website says, We are guided by the fact that all Black lives matter, regardless of actual
or perceived sexual identity, gender identity, gender expression, economic status, ability, disability,
religious beliefs or disbeliefs, immigration status, or location (What We Believe). A prominent

The Harm In Hate Speech Analysis
Jeremy Waldron argues in favor of hate speech restrictions in his book The Harm in Hate Speech .
He presents the central argument that vulnerable minorities are in need of hate speech regulation to
protect them from harm. Another argument he presents is that such regulation must be a content
based regulation, as opposed to a time, place, and manner restriction that is usually employed to
prevent certain kinds of speech. A final argument he uses is that speech is the harmful action, rather
than speech simply causing harmful actions. I do not find his arguments to be compelling enough
reasons to support restricting free speech with hate speechlaws.
Waldron s central argument is that vulnerable minorities need and deserve government ... Show

He believes that since hate speech legislation is seen as acceptable and necessary in most
developed nations that it is therefore the principles are also applicable to the United States. He
openly admits that he does not accept any assumptions that make up free speech jurisprudence,
because they are contrary to his views on how society needs to address hateful speech. The
assumptions he rejects include the tendency for truth to prevail in the marketplace of ideas, the
effectiveness of counter speech, and that content based restrictions are bad.
However, these ideas cannot be simply dismissed because they are central to the American
perspective on the necessity of hate speech legislation. Waldron fails to address in an effective
way why he is able to dismiss these central ideas. In doing so, he is practically admitting to the
reader that his ideas are based outside of the framework of the reality of American free speech
tradition. The strength of his argument suffers from the fact that his argument is not applicable to
the reality of American society s views on free speech.
Waldron also argues that the harms caused by hate speech are constituted by speech, rather than
merely caused by speech (166). He believes that the element that damages the dignity and assurance
of vulnerable minorities is the speech itself, not actions that they speech promotes or the way that it

Feminism And Writing Through The Eyes Of Virginia Woolf
Feminism and Writing Through the Eyes of Virginia Woolf
Virginia Woolf is commonly known as a riveting feminist author who includes aspects of feminism
in most of her novels. In this particular novel she analyzes the topic of feminism, the major theme
in A Room of One s Own, with the accompanying discussion of writing. She accentuates these
themes with techniques of imagery, appeals to the emotions of the readers, and an aphoristic tone
that elucidates her point of view on women and writing. Neither weak nor lacking, Woolf is
compassionate about feminism and writing.
In the beginning of the novel, we notice how Woolf is compassionate about feminism and writing: a
woman must have a room of one s own and money if she is to write fiction (6). She expresses
that, for a woman to write effectively, she requires money and her own room. But, what is,
exactly, one s own room? A room of one s self is personal... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

For it needs little skill and psychology to be sure that a highly gifted girl who had tried to use her

With her aphoristic tone, Woolf provides the general truth on how women are expected to be
during the ages before woman and writing is acceptable. Woolf s exaggeration of a woman going
crazy or losing herself, drives the reader s emotions to imagine just how women were discouraged
of their talents. Even imagery is found in this topic: lonely cottage outside the village, mocked at,
and thwarted and hindered. As earlier explained by Woolf, a woman was not able to express her
talents before. Woolf gives an emotional effect that haves the readers imagine being in such a

How Exercise And Different Body Positions Essay
Purpose
The purpose of this experiment was to become familiar with the electrocardiograph to help us
determine the heart electrical activity. As well as, to observe how exercise and different body
positions(conditions) can affect the activity of the heart.
Introduction
Trained professionals can look at the EKG tracing and determine if the heart is normal or if the heart
is abnormal. An ECG records the electrical activity of the heart. The heart produces tiny electrical
impulses which spread through the heart muscle to make the heart contract (Kenny, 2015). There
are two different types of cells. Autorhythmic (electrical) cell begins electrical activity and triggers
contractile fiber, and contractile (myocardial) generates force to pump blood. With each heartbeat
the cardiac system starts with the pacemaker (called the SA node) that conducts electricity. The
electrical current travels from the SA node and signals the atria to contract. Then into the
Antrioventucular node, which signals the ventricles. Eventually, into a bundle of his, left and right
bundle branches, and lastly Purkinje fibers. Purkinje fibers then stimulate the contractile fibers. In
addition, the EKG (electrocardiogram) illustrates a series of waves and flat lines (isoelectric)
usually seen on computer monitors. Waves represent electrical activity through the heart and the
physical events that take place in the heart, systole (contraction occurs and blood pumps into the
arteries) and diastole (blood

Rearing Across Cultures
Raising a child is one of the most beautiful, difficult and rewarding jobs that most people will ever
have. How one chooses to raise their child depends entirely on how one sees fit; however many
other things come into play such as genes, family, culture, and community. Through these
environmental factors each child is raised to a particular norm within a culture; this paper hopes to
explore cultural differences in child rearing across the globe. Bornstein (2012), said that every
culture is characterized, and distinguished from other cultures, by deep rooted and widely
acknowledged ideas about how one needs to feel, think, and act as a functioning member of the
culture . Through research we have been able to understand how different cultures possess different
beliefs and engage in different behaviors that may be the normative in their particular culture, but
are not necessarily deemed the normative in others. Because culture is something that is held

The piece (title of piece) was choreographed by Andy Noble. This piece really stood out among
the others because of the high energy, and the use of ramps. Three ramps of different sizes were
placed on stage right. Throughout the piece, dancers ran off of and danced on them. It is so
exhilarating to watch the partnering on the ramps because everything seems to be constantly off
balance. I would characterize the first half of the piece as organized chaos. All of the sudden,
everyone runs off the stage leaving their shoes behind. The second half of the piece brought
along an entirely different feeling. With the shoes still strewn across the floor, Taylor Hennings
and Todd Baker performed an exquisite duet. The duet really completed the whole storyline of
the piece. The story being conveyed is that the first section is a war zone. Everyone is fighting

see all the destruction that took place, with all the leftover shoes signaling the lives that were

A Short Note On B2b And B2c Marketing
Differences in eCommerce for B2B and B2C Marketing
Differences in eCommerce for B2B and B2C Marketing
Building a B2B eCommerce platform generates big differences from trying to market retail
products to consumers. Unlike B2C marketing, cultivating each potential buyer is more critical and
challenging. Most business buyers are highly educated, logical and perceptive, so they tend to
appreciate platforms that offer them conveniences for researching products and product lines,
managing complex shipping strategies and handling special needs such as winning approval from
buying committees or multiple decision makers. That s why it s important to develop a business
marketing strategy that incorporates buyer identification, expedited searches for product and, third
party information about product specifications and supply chains. B2B platforms share some
similarities with B2C websites, but there are many inherent differences that marketers need to
understand.
Traditionally, B2C versus B2B was often defined as business marketers being more sensitive to
price, customer loyalty and working business relationships while B2C marketers tried to create
excitement for their products through emotional connections. While this definition remains true,
the lines are blurred because B2B companies now use B2C techniques, social media and heightened
user experiences to nurture long term business relationships. The goal of a savvy business marketer
is to generate an emotional response for the

Research Paper On Alice In Wonderland
Alice in Wonderland Imagination; everyone possesses it and everyone utilizes it on multiple

adventurous girl by the name of Alice stumbles through a world created in the depths of her
imagination: Wonderland. While the nonsensical characters and seemingly insane laws of nature
distract our minds, Carroll weaves a theme into the story s fabric with miniscule hints, easy to miss.

From dealing with outrageous adult behavior to literally growing up too quickly, Alice slowly
ventures nearer and nearer to the adulthood and maturity that awaits here. However, she does not
need to leave her imagination behind her, in reality that is one of the few things she can never
outgrow. Proving both these points is the final few paragraphs of the book, in which Alice s
older sister reminisces about her own childhood and, for a brief moment, ventures herself into
the wonderful world of Wonderland. Yet it is possible that the original story, the one orally
presented to Alice Liddell, was simply for amusement as Lewis Carroll actually added several
tales to the transcribed version of his fanciful tale. Alice s Adventures in Wonderland serves two
purposes. First, it amuses younger readers, taking them through the whimsical world of Alice s
imagination which is filled to the brim with kooky characters and odd organisms. However, it s
second purpose takes adults on a separate journey, a journey down memory lane. Adults can enjoy
a nostalgic ride through imagination with the emotional message of never being too old to

see clearly and to understand that the ferocity committed to him is considered by the law to be a
hate crime.
The term hate crime was coined in the 1980s by journalists and policy advocates who were
attempting to describe a series of incidents directed at Jews, Asians and African Americans. The
Federal Bureau of Investigation defines hate crime (also known as bias crime) as a criminal
offense committed against a person, property, or society that is motivated, in whole or in part, by
the offender s bias against a race, religion, disability, sexual orientation, or ethnicity/national
origin.(National Institute of justice, Paragraph 1, December 22, 2010.) The evidences,
testimonies, and demonstrations from the case of Matthew show us that he was attacked and
persecuted because of his sexual orientation. People would like to think that what happened to
Matthew was an exception to the rule, but it was an extreme version of what happens in our
schools on a daily basis ( Newsperson 4, p45, Laramie project ). This quote show us how people
go through hate in a daily basis and it s miserable and sad that the only way to get people s
consideration and attention was for something as tragic

The World s Biggest Trader
Introduction Accounting for 20 percent of global imports and exports, the European Union
(EU) is the world s biggest trader. This should not come as a surprise because free trade among
its members is one of the founding principles of the EU. With trade policy being in the exclusive
jurisdiction of the EU, this creates new market opportunities for European exporters, workers
and investors. The creation of this global market also creates the need for the EU to protect the
interest of its 28 members from serious injury by resolving trade issues that go far beyond tariffs.
The Safeguards Agreement (SG Agreement) sets forth the rules for application of Safeguard
measures pursuant to Article XIX of the Global Agreement on Tariffs and Trade (GATT) 1994.
These measures are temporary, emergency actions resulting in import restrictions that a country is
allowed to impose on a product if imports of that product are or have the potentiality to cause a
serious injury to a domestic injury of a directly competitive product. Safeguards are one of three
types of contingent trade protection measures, along with anti dumping and countervailing
measures, available to WTO Members. Imagine Company X, who exports sneakers to a country
Y. If country X imports sneakers in numbers in such ways that it affects the level of sales for the
domestic producer of sneakers in Country Y. Country Y may consider implementing a raise in
tariffs on sneakers so that Country Y s domestic producers may keep

Peshmerga Essay
Peshmerga means those who are prepared to confront or face death. This military force began
around the 1920 s and have experienced a lot of tension between political groups. The Peshmerga is
currently fighting ISIS which is the biggest terrorist organization in the world. They are not only
the leading protectors of the Kurdistan Region, but also the entire world.
Initially, the Peshmerga was developed by freedom fighters that were members of the KDP and
PUK, who used guerrilla warfare tactics to regain control of and protect Kurdistan. After the
collapse of the Ottoman and Qajar empires, freedom fighters created the Peshmerga to regain
control over Kurdistan. When the Peshmerga first started, guerrilla warfare was used to fight
enemies and defend the Kurdistan Region. The Peshmerga had become ... Show more content on

This event caused the fight for independence to grow and Saddam Hussein, who was the President
of Iraq, felt threatened. A number of Peshmerga troops formally fought with the military force of
Saddam against Iran, but the Peshmerga later joined forces with Iran to gain more control of Iraqi
Kurdistan lands. As retribution for siding with Iranian military forces and wanting more land,
Saddam Hussein used a campaign called Anfal against the Kurdish people. One of the most terrible
acts of the Anfal crusade was in 1988 when Halabja was attacked by deadly chemical weapons (
Who are the Peshmerga?, 2014). The Peshmerga was greatly affected by the Anfal crusades, but
they persisted on with combat against the forces of Iraq. While fighting against the attacks of
Saddam Hussein, female soldiers were given the right to join the Peshmerga to increase the
numbers of the military forces ( Who are the Peshmerga?, 2014). Female members of the Peshmerga
have played their part in protecting Kurdistan for many

This year we are concentrating on youth and college students who are having a hard time affording
Cynosure; our promotions make this offer the best one yet.
2. Strategic Focus and Plan
Marketing discovers consumer needs by using many different types of techniques such as
surveys, ratings, statistics, or working with focus groups. If I was to introduce a product to the
market, first I would target down a specific groups. My product is a Micro chip that has that
capability to enhance memory, called Cynosure. Cynosure is a Micro chip that is installed into
a new born. This Micro chip is installed into the brain a day after the child is born by surgery.
Cynosure could be connected to the computer and through WIFI and you are able to save
documents on it that will automatically go to your brain; it basically does the job of a flash
drive. This product is as thin as a hair and half a centimeter long. This product prevents memory
loss later in the future when you reach a certain age (50). The great thing about it is that it plays
the role of a flash drive but in your head! You are capable of downloading music, documents, or
even pictures by installing it to your brain through WIFI.

Emotions, Personality And Social Psychology Studies
Introduction
Anger plays a central role in the emotions, personality and social psychology studies due to its
influences on attention (Solomon, 1990; Tavris, 1989; Hansen and Hansen, 1988), cognition
(Lerner et al., 2003), perception of ones surroundings (Clark, Pataki, Carver, 1996; Tiedens, 2001),
and in regulating behaviour (Harmon Jones, Sigelman, Bohlig, Harmon Jones, 2003; Mackie,
Devos, Smith, 2000). Anger is a negative emotion and according to surveys it is one of the most
frequently experienced emotion (Averill, 1982; Small, 2005) in ones daily life. Furthermore anger
may lead to aggressive behaviors which from evolutionary perspective is an adaptive mechanism
to maintain wellbeing, social dominance and resource access. However in modern human beings
the maladaptive consequences of aggression and transgression (Hirshleifer, 1987; Frank, 1988)
resulting from anger is associated to many negative personal and interpersonal consequences.
Given the detrimental impacts excessive anger can have on physical and social life, considerable
effort has been directed towards understanding how to reduce the experience and behavioural
consequences of anger. A common theoretical approach that has intuitive appeal has focused on the
use of positive emotions to decrease the experience of anger. Specially, some theorists have
proposed that all positive affects such as happiness and desire attenuate the intensity of all negative
affects (Fredrickson Cohn, 2008; Baron, 1976;

Jack Nicholson Characteristics
Movies have played a large role in American society for a over a century. It is almost an
obsession compared to some parts of the world and because of this there have been many larger
than life individuals come about in the movie industry. In today s Hollywood, international ticket
sales have a massive influence on the movies that get made and how they are marketed
(internationalstudentguide) People become so iconic by their superb acting skills even if the
movie itself is not so superb. Jack Nicholsonis a true example of an iconic actor. The skills he
possesses and demonstrates on the screen are beyond doubt some of the best his time. What has
made Jack Nicholson so iconic is taking on so many challenging roles that other actors will shy
away from. Nicholson is brilliant with his roles of men that are angry, crazy, or the antagonist.
Many still go to see a film just because he is in it, even being the antagonist because he is so
widely praised for his skills on the screen.
When considering Jack Nicholson, one of the first things to think about is his use of anger in
many of his movies. Not only just anger, but the intensity he brings with his anger is what
makes you believe it. Anger takes over him, every inch of Nicholson is full of rage, you can see it
in his eyes, hear it in his voice, and see it with his body. Jack can be show anger in different ways,
for example, in One Flew Over The Cuckoo s Nest Jack plays a criminal who pleads insanity and
ends up in an institution

The Nazis And The Nazi Regime
The Nazis, who came to power with the leader Adolf Hitler in Germany in January 1933, believed
in a radical genetic restricting of society where ethnic cleansing of Jews was the main priority. Nazi
regime wanted to make German Aryan race superior and the Jews were considered inferior within
German racial community. The Holocaustwas state sponsored organized oppression and homicide
of six million Jews by the Nazi regime. During the era of the Holocaust, German authorities also
targeted other groups, and the process involved, the sterilization of those thought to be social
misfits, the killing of the disabled, homosexuals and Roma, the enslaving of Slavs and the selective
dispensing of welfare according to interpretations of genetic worth (Finaldi, 96). After Nazis took
over the government in Germany, their National Socialist government established concentration
camps for their political opponents. However, before the outbreak of war, Nazi officials started
using these camps for incarceration of Jews, and other victims of racial and ethnic hatred. Millions
of innocent people were murdered just because of their ethnic or racial differences, however,
thousands were lucky enough to survive from Nazi tyranny.
Schindler s List by Steven Spielberg is one of the greatest films that has ever been filmed. It
emphasizes the characteristics of Nazi regime, and not only portrays the Holocaust, but it also
awakens human emotions and gives hope to the humanity. The entire film

shakespeare Essay
The Discrepancies of Shakespeare
Shakespeare is a world renowned playwright. Most people could describe at least of one of his
plays, poems, or sonnets. However, not many people can recall the details of his personal life.
Some may know that he was married, while others believe that he gay. Since there are so many
discrepancies concerning William Shakespeare, it can no longer be determined what the facts are
and what is fiction.
The discrepancies that involve Shakespeare start with his father. John Shakespeare had come to
live in Stratford upon Avon, working as a glove maker. However, John had a long line of jobs. He
was a wool dealer and was involved in money lending ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In fact, he could have been born on the 25th and there just happened to be a baptismal on the 26th.
There are so many possibilities that one must wonder if it is right to assume a date.
Nobody knows if Shakespeare went to school or not. There are no records that Shakespeare ever
attended school. However, since no records of anyone s school attendance were generally kept,
there is no evidence against it. It is supposed, because he was the son of a leading townsman, that
he attended the King Edward VI Grammar School in Stratford. Here, his education would have
consisted of a thorough knowledge of Latin, logic and rhetoric and also history, which would have
been mainly classical, (http:168.216.219.18).This could explain Shakespeare s knowledge of
history for his plays. If William had attended school, it is probable that he left at about the age of
fourteen.
William had the example of his father s success and the standing of his mother as a gentlewoman to
ignite his own ambition, and it was while he was young that his father was at the height of his
influence.
Then, the fortunes of his father mysteriously failed as he appeared to fall into financial difficulties
which led him to default on his attendance at council meetings. As for William, it is very likely that
he became apprenticed to his father s business. This is because it was the custom for young men,

Iris Kennedys Narrative
Johnny? Johnny is that you?...No!!
Brains!!
Johnny no!!! AAAHHHHH! As the movie credits began to roll onto the screen, Irie found
herself hidden in her hoodie. Iris looked over at her and began to chuckle as he watched her look
around to see if anyone saw her scared and concealed. He started to grab her arm and lead her out
of the theater so they could find their mother who was patiently waiting for them.
So how was the movie? Their mother said as she was placing her bookmark into her book and
starting the car.
It wasn t scary at all. I want to go see it again. Iris looked over at his sister who was still looking
around for the slowly walking dead that was on the screen minutes ago. As they began their journey

I m sorry, can you repeat that? As she began to repeat herself the bell rang and everyone began to
start for the door. Scared as everyone was jogging passed him, he realized he needed a moment to
himself.
He waited until everyone was out of the room, before he started for the door as well. He quickly
walked down the hallway, his head down trying not to come face to face with anyone. He finally
came to the courtyard and walked up to a tree that was a far away distance from where everyone
else was. He let out along sigh as he slid down the tree. He closed his eyes, relaxed.
AHHHHHHHHH! a girl screamed from across the courtyard, causing Iris to tense up again. His
eyes grew wide as he glanced around for any marching bodies that were headed his way but didn t
see anything but groups of people looking around with worried looks.
He ran inside the building and hid in a dark hall. He trembled keeping his eyes peeled wide.
Irie?!?! a familiar voice asked.
He nearly jumped out of his skin, closing his eyes shut tight. Irie...it s me...are you okay?! Irie
asked in a concerned voice. His eyes flit open and ran into his twin sister s arms.
I m soo glad you re here! Iris cried as he grabbed his arms tighter around her

  • 2. Wislawa Szymborska Listening to my own sensual voice, I seemed to convey a very strong knowledge of the poem, Hunger Camp at Jaslo by Wislawa Szymborska. I extracted the meaning of the poem and supported my assumption strongly with examples of literary technique throughout the poem. I scored myself in Criterion A, knowledge and understanding of the poem, with a 5. In terms of Criterion B, appreciation of the writer s choices, I brought forth a wide range of literary device examples ranging from alliteration and repetition, to metaphor and diction. I awarded myself with a score of 4 in this category as although my examples were plentiful and supportable there was certainly more room for analysis. In Criterion C, organization and presentation of the commentary, I believe I left the most room for improvement while although I structured my arguments well and delivered a clear and concise message there were... For Criterion E, response to the discussion questions, I felt that the questions themselves could have been stronger and the limited time may have given me some issues in terms of response strength, as a result I had a brief response that although strong, was certainly too brief. I awarded myself with a score of 4 in this category. • 3. Poor Law Of Homelessness Essay To start to talk about homelessness we need to understand why there is homelessness and the root of the problem. It may be hard to unscramble the issue from the beginning. The following information was obtained from The History of Public Welfare in New York City, 1609 1866 by Schneider, David M. We can start with the Poor Law which is the Act for the Relief of the Poor. The 1683 Poor Law replaced the patchworks system of laws relating to the poor that had existed in the English colony of New York. Passed by the provincial assembly, the colony s legislative body, the new law applied to New York City, Staten Island, Long Island, and the upstate counties and created a system similar to the one that already existed in the parts of the colony that... This new poor law set the specifications for settlement and legal residency in New York City. The few settled were eligible for public relief. Though scientists had discussed the need for communication about the ethical ramifications of cloning since as early as 1972, it was not until the successful cloningof a sheep named Dolly in 1997 that cloning came to the forefront of scientific and societal discussion. As a result of the continuity of fast paced scientific discovery, the issues surrounding cloning of both animals and humans remain a hot topic, with people divided on both sides of the controversy. • 5. Understanding The Attitudes Of Others Understanding the attitudes of others is critical in attempting persuasion. In the elaboration likelihood model (ELM), persuasion splits into two routes: peripheral and central routes. These routes determine the course of decision making; both are dependent on the individual s ability and motivation (Gilovich et al., 2013). The proverb, you can lead a horse to water, but you can t make him drink, is an assumption in that certain individuals will never change their attitudes. If the proverb were true, then persuasion would have no credibility; so, this research paper will dispute the proverb. There are ways to persuade and influence others, even if they are as stubborn as the horse that will not drink. By reviewing past research on persuasion, resistance to persuasion, persistence of change, and the effects of involvement on persuasion, this paper will give support that certain methods can be done to change attitudes, leading to a higher chance of persuasion. Our experiences and the experiences of those around us help create the beliefs which assist our decision making. There are those individuals that strongly hold true to their personal beliefs and those who feel uncertain towards their beliefs. Swann, Pelham and Chidester s (1988) research attempted to change the beliefs of those individuals resistant to persuasion (Swann et al., 1988). They constructed questions which remained consistent with the beliefs of the individual but, more towards an extremist point of view. ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 6. The Colonization Of Uganda And Kenya 1.Introduction The colonization of Uganda and Kenya is the reason why they are bilateral countries meaning they share many of the same interest such as political interest, economic interests etc... Being colonized by the United Kingdom has affected their history forever, and has made it extremely difficult to be in the same state as the rest of the world but also allowed both countries to be close with each other as they shared the same experiences. As they gained their independence, they later formed an East African Community along with Tanzania who was also colonized by the UK which created many benefits in the long run. In this paper, I will investigate the benefits of the East African Community over time specifically with Kenya s and Uganda s trade with coffee. 1.1.Coffee History Coffee trees were first introduced by the French which were located near the capital of Kenya, Nairobi. Nairobi was used as the nucleus around which Kenyan coffee growing developed. The British and European farmers became rich by farming coffee on the backs of the Kenyan workers. With more experience, Kenyan farmers became more and more powerful. With over 1 million Kikuyu tribe members calling it home they had real land claims according to the Europeans. While Arabica was introduced at the beginning of the 1900 s, Robusta coffee is indigenous to the country, and has been a part of Ugandan life for centuries. • 8. George S. Patton Rhetorical Analysis General George S Patton, also known as Old Blood and Guts, was by far one of the greatest and most controversial generals within the U.S army during World War 2. Renowned for his leadership of the Third Army, he was the center of controversy, such as the time when he called for war against the Soviets (Wilcox, 2010, p. 112). In doing this, General George S. Pattonpainted himself as an agitator, which is an individual who speaks of the violation or misappropriation of the present form of society, but he does not hold it ultimately responsible for social ills (Lowenthal, 1948). According to the Portrait of the American Agitator, the average agitator George S. Patton fits this description quite well, in the sense that he refused to capitulate to what could be deemed in today s terms as political correctness. Unfortunately, as history has demonstrated, those who speak out against public opinion are often scorned, ostracized and even subject to violence. Within Blumenson s book, The Patton Papers, George S. Patton shares his unpopular opinion of the Germans in a letter to his wife Beatrice: The stuff in the papers about fraternization is all wet... All that sort of writing is done by Jews to get revenge. Actually the Germans are the only decent people left in Europe. It s a choice between them and the Russians. I prefer the Germans. So do our cousins... (p. 744). Inarguably, these words written by Patton were possibly some of the most dangerous statements he could ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 9. The Negative Effects Of Technology In Modern Society Throughout the past couple decades, cell phones and laptops have become a large part of daily life for most human beings. In fact, in today s society it is rare to find someone who does not own some sort of cellular device. Although technology has many useful perks, it is beginning to deteriorate our society s social skills and social life. Teenagers in today s world are too digitally connected, and this brings along the negative effects of a decrease in real life conversation, increased laziness, and more distractions in a number of different environments. The increased use of technology in modern society is leading to a decrease in real life conversation. In The Negative Impacts of Social Media on Face to Face Interactions, it states, Since it has become more prevalent, social media has made people have a tendency to want to interact with people online rather than in person because it has made the process simpler. From my own experiences, this is true. I have seen multitudes of my friends struggle to interact with others in person because they have become so used to texting them. As texting becomes normal for more people, having real life conversations will become more awkward and difficult because they are not practicing that skill. Due to teenagers being too digitally connected, there has been an increase in laziness. Because technology does a lot of the work for this generation, there has been a decrease in doing things the old fashioned way. In the article, 7 ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 10. Theme Of Comradery In All Quiet On The Western Front The psychologist Sigmund Freud once said, Because every man has a right over his own life and war destroys lives that were full of promise; it forces the individual into situations that shame his manhood, obliging him to murder fellow men, against his will. He initially stated this when he was corresponding with Albert Einstein via letter. This quote is also a great explanation of the events that take place during war that people chose to not recognise. War is terrible, and no matter how hard we try, nothing will change that. Erich Maria Remarqueshows us that soldiers have endured dreadfully throughout World War I in his book All Quiet on the Western Front. The character in the book, Paul Baumer, endures through the tragedies of war with some of his old schoolmates as well as new comrades that he meets along the way. They survive through all of the tragedies together, but in the end, the war made them lose their friendships as well as their lives. The reality is that war comes with consequences while it destroys people, and there is nothing that will ever be able to change that. The book All Quiet on the Western Front shows how war comes destroys people s lives with its consequences through three of its themes: the importance of comradery, the loss of innocence, and the horrors and brutality of war. Comradery proved to be a great importance to all of the soldiers throughout the war. Whenever somebody would get into a troublesome time, there was always another soldier ... Compromise is this weird word with a bunch of taboo swirling around it. Inevitably, it gets lumped in with the bad factors of a relationship, but it isn t as bad as it s painted half the time. The simple fact is that some compromise is essential and regardless of your convictions, compromising with the one you love is the proverbial honorable thing to do. • 16. Technology In Agriculture Agriculture has been an essential part of to the survival of humanity from the beginning, and we rely on it now just as much as we did then. Fortunately, the technology used in agriculture has been increased over time, and currently the Green Revolution is providing us with greater inputs of fertilizer, water and pesticides, new crop strains, and increased technology as stated by Tillman and others (2002). These advances modern agricultureis currently feed 6 million people, and it only continues to increase (in both advances and in those fed). However, the global population is also continuing to increase, allowing for there to be more agricultural output which are essential for social stability and global politics as a whole. While this sounds good, doubling this food production comes with major challenges. Tillman and others (2002) evaluate and explain these scientific and policy challenges that are required to be met in order to sustain the entire agricultural production. This will require fundamental shifts in institutions and policies because the concept of sustainable agriculture must be adopted. Unfortunately, about half of the lands deemed usable by agriculturalists are already in use, thus adding environmentally detrimental amounts of nitrogen and phosphorus to terrestrial ecosystems at alarming rates. This makes sense when considering it is known that food production uses fertilizers that contain phosphorus and nitrogen, and modern agriculture is dependent on ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

For example, a business can have many products in stock but can miss out on its profits due to the holding cost. Not having a MPS can cause businesses to lack in supply which can result into customers receiving their products very late. A company known as the Realco Breadmaster Company has experienced what it is like to be in business without a MPS. Johnny Chang, the owner of the Realco Breadmaster Company, would like to adopt a MPS for Realco so that the company can get back on its feet. Here s a sketch of the MPS. • 20. The Influence Of The Traditional Family Dinners 1. How has the traditional family meal changed from the 1950s until now? Subsequent to watching the videos and comparing the differences between families back in the 1950 s and now, it is evident that there are many factors which have influenced the change in the traditional family meal. Firstly, in the 1950 s there was more of a traditional family structure. Therefore, the majority of families were nuclear, consisting of a mother, father, and children. Nowadays, there has been major changes to the structure and definition of families. In today s generation, the trend of marriage is decreasing, and divorce rates are rising, resulting in various different family structures. For example, the percentage of single parent families has doubled since 1961. Due to this, single parents are forced to work in order to support their families, consequently leaving less time for family dinners. , Back in the 1950 s, family dinners were formerly a regular daily occurrence that members of the family looked forward to. It was a priority and meant to be a positive, stress free experience. Furthermore, family dinners have become less of a priority due to the increased businesses of people s lives and the changes in priorities in general. In contrast to back then, the idea of family has become more of a second thought, rather than taking precedence over than everything else. Nowadays, extra curricular activities play a major role in many families, therefore, leaving less time in evenings ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Another argument he presents is that such regulation must be a content based regulation, as opposed to a time, place, and manner restriction that is usually employed to prevent certain kinds of speech. The assumptions he rejects include the tendency for truth to prevail in the marketplace of ideas, the effectiveness of counter speech, and that content based restrictions are bad. However, these ideas cannot be simply dismissed because they are central to the American perspective on the necessity of hate speech legislation. Waldron fails to address in an effective way why he is able to dismiss these central ideas. In doing so, he is practically admitting to the reader that his ideas are based outside of the framework of the reality of American free speech tradition. The strength of his argument suffers from the fact that his argument is not applicable to the reality of American society s views on free speech. Feminism And Writing Through The Eyes Of Virginia Woolf Feminism and Writing Through the Eyes of Virginia Woolf Virginia Woolf is commonly known as a riveting feminist author who includes aspects of feminism in most of her novels. She accentuates these themes with techniques of imagery, appeals to the emotions of the readers, and an aphoristic tone that elucidates her point of view on women and writing. Neither weak nor lacking, Woolf is compassionate about feminism and writing. In the beginning of the novel, we notice how Woolf is compassionate about feminism and writing: a woman must have a room of one s own and money if she is to write fiction (6). • 29. How Exercise And Different Body Positions Essay Purpose The purpose of this experiment was to become familiar with the electrocardiograph to help us determine the heart electrical activity. As well as, to observe how exercise and different body positions(conditions) can affect the activity of the heart. Introduction Trained professionals can look at the EKG tracing and determine if the heart is normal or if the heart is abnormal. An ECG records the electrical activity of the heart. The heart produces tiny electrical impulses which spread through the heart muscle to make the heart contract (Kenny, 2015). There are two different types of cells. Autorhythmic (electrical) cell begins electrical activity and triggers contractile fiber, and contractile (myocardial) generates force to pump blood. With each heartbeat the cardiac system starts with the pacemaker (called the SA node) that conducts electricity. The electrical current travels from the SA node and signals the atria to contract. Then into the Antrioventucular node, which signals the ventricles. Eventually, into a bundle of his, left and right bundle branches, and lastly Purkinje fibers. Purkinje fibers then stimulate the contractile fibers. In addition, the EKG (electrocardiogram) illustrates a series of waves and flat lines (isoelectric) usually seen on computer monitors. Waves represent electrical activity through the heart and the physical events that take place in the heart, systole (contraction occurs and blood pumps into the arteries) and diastole (blood ... • 40. The Movie The Laramie Project After, reading and watching the movie of The Laramie Project I was left with so many emotions, ideas, and questions. The play was based on a series of interviews, in order to provide true facts and statements to the audience. Since I have been studying the case of Matthew, I am now able to see clearly and to understand that the ferocity committed to him is considered by the law to be a hate crime. The term hate crime was coined in the 1980s by journalists and policy advocates who were attempting to describe a series of incidents directed at Jews, Asians and African Americans. The Federal Bureau of Investigation defines hate crime (also known as bias crime) as a criminal offense committed against a person, property, or society that is motivated, in whole or in part, by the offender s bias against a race, religion, disability, sexual orientation, or ethnicity/national origin.(National Institute of justice, Paragraph 1, December 22, 2010.) The evidences, testimonies, and demonstrations from the case of Matthew show us that he was attacked and persecuted because of his sexual orientation. People would like to think that what happened to Matthew was an exception to the rule, but it was an extreme version of what happens in our schools on a daily basis ( Newsperson 4, p45, Laramie project ). This quote show us how people go through hate in a daily basis and it s miserable and sad that the only way to get people s consideration and attention was for something as tragic ... • 41. The World s Biggest Trader Introduction Accounting for 20 percent of global imports and exports, the European Union (EU) is the world s biggest trader. This should not come as a surprise because free trade among its members is one of the founding principles of the EU. With trade policy being in the exclusive jurisdiction of the EU, this creates new market opportunities for European exporters, workers and investors. The creation of this global market also creates the need for the EU to protect the interest of its 28 members from serious injury by resolving trade issues that go far beyond tariffs. The Safeguards Agreement (SG Agreement) sets forth the rules for application of Safeguard measures pursuant to Article XIX of the Global Agreement on Tariffs and Trade (GATT) 1994. These measures are temporary, emergency actions resulting in import restrictions that a country is allowed to impose on a product if imports of that product are or have the potentiality to cause a serious injury to a domestic injury of a directly competitive product. Safeguards are one of three types of contingent trade protection measures, along with anti dumping and countervailing measures, available to WTO Members. • 44. Emotions, Personality And Social Psychology Studies Introduction Anger plays a central role in the emotions, personality and social psychology studies due to its influences on attention (Solomon, 1990; Tavris, 1989; Hansen and Hansen, 1988), cognition (Lerner et al., 2003), perception of ones surroundings (Clark, Pataki, Carver, 1996; Tiedens, 2001), and in regulating behaviour (Harmon Jones, Sigelman, Bohlig, Harmon Jones, 2003; Mackie, Devos, Smith, 2000). Anger is a negative emotion and according to surveys it is one of the most frequently experienced emotion (Averill, 1982; Small, 2005) in ones daily life. Furthermore anger may lead to aggressive behaviors which from evolutionary perspective is an adaptive mechanism to maintain wellbeing, social dominance and resource access. However in modern human beings the maladaptive consequences of aggression and transgression (Hirshleifer, 1987; Frank, 1988) resulting from anger is associated to many negative personal and interpersonal consequences. Given the detrimental impacts excessive anger can have on physical and social life, considerable effort has been directed towards understanding how to reduce the experience and behavioural consequences of anger. A common theoretical approach that has intuitive appeal has focused on the use of positive emotions to decrease the experience of anger. Specially, some theorists have proposed that all positive affects such as happiness and desire attenuate the intensity of all negative affects (Fredrickson Cohn, 2008; Baron, 1976; ... The Nazis And The Nazi Regime The Nazis, who came to power with the leader Adolf Hitler in Germany in January 1933, believed in a radical genetic restricting of society where ethnic cleansing of Jews was the main priority. Nazi regime wanted to make German Aryan race superior and the Jews were considered inferior within German racial community. The Holocaustwas state sponsored organized oppression and homicide of six million Jews by the Nazi regime. During the era of the Holocaust, German authorities also targeted other groups, and the process involved, the sterilization of those thought to be social misfits, the killing of the disabled, homosexuals and Roma, the enslaving of Slavs and the selective dispensing of welfare according to interpretations of genetic worth (Finaldi, 96). After Nazis took over the government in Germany, their National Socialist government established concentration camps for their political opponents. However, before the outbreak of war, Nazi officials started using these camps for incarceration of Jews, and other victims of racial and ethnic hatred. Millions of innocent people were murdered just because of their ethnic or racial differences, however, thousands were lucky enough to survive from Nazi tyranny. However, not many people can recall the details of his personal life. Some may know that he was married, while others believe that he gay. Since there are so many discrepancies concerning William Shakespeare, it can no longer be determined what the facts are and what is fiction. The discrepancies that involve Shakespeare start with his father. John Shakespeare had come to live in Stratford upon Avon, working as a glove maker. However, John had a long line of jobs. There are so many possibilities that one must wonder if it is right to assume a date. Nobody knows if Shakespeare went to school or not. There are no records that Shakespeare ever attended school. However, since no records of anyone s school attendance were generally kept, there is no evidence against it. It is supposed, because he was the son of a leading townsman, that he attended the King Edward VI Grammar School in Stratford. Here, his education would have consisted of a thorough knowledge of Latin, logic and rhetoric and also history, which would have been mainly classical, (http:168.216.219.18).This could explain Shakespeare s knowledge of history for his plays. If William had attended school, it is probable that he left at about the age of fourteen. William had the example of his father s success and the standing of his mother as a gentlewoman to ignite his own ambition, and it was while he was young that his father was at the height of his influence. Then, the fortunes of his father mysteriously failed as he appeared to fall into financial difficulties which led him to default on his attendance at council meetings. As for William, it is very likely that he became apprenticed to his father s business. This is because it was the custom for young men, ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
