trade goods with you. This is what happened with Great Britain and the Qing Dynasty. There was a
high demand for China s tea in Great Britain but a low demand for Britain s goods in China. Great
Britain was in debt with China and they had to do something to get out. As a result, they turned to
selling silver to make the imbalance better. China could care less about Great Britain s silver so Great
Democracy meant rule by parliament and constitution, and the People s Livelihood made it so that the
land and other resources should benefit the people and not fatten the ruling classes (McLenighan 34).
Things were looking good for Sun Yat Sen when Empress Dowager Ci Xi died. The next and last
emperor of China would be the 3 year old Henry Pu Yi. Sun Yat Sen and company took advantage of

name, leaving Sun Yat Sen as president of a Republican. That was the end of the Qing Dynasty.

Rebellion, wars and civil wars, pressure from foreigners, and foreign immigrants spreading their ideas
and cultures throughout China. China let the foreigners get by with too much and the foreigners took

Pop Art was a popular movement that formed in the 1950 s in Britain, and later formed in the united
states. When you think about pop art you think about three dimensional art. Well Pop art is not about
the form of the picture. Pop art is like an advertisement, news magazines and comic books that catch
the people s eyes. There were many artists like Eduardo Paolozzi, Richard Hamilton, and Robert
Rauschenberg, who presented pop art to the world especially in the united states. Pop art is also not
about the pictures and how bright and colorful it is. Pop art is really about what message is provoked
to the viewers.
Andy Warhol was a well known artist during the pop art movement. He was born in a big city named
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on August 6, 1928. Andy Warhol attended a college named Carnegie Institute
of Technology. After graduating from college in 1949 he made his first project for Glamour magazine.
While in New York, Warhol created window displays and advertising for the local New York retailers.
One of Warhol works that made him locally famous was his blotted line advertisement he did with
Miller and Sons. The advertisement even won him several awards from the Art Directors Club and the
American Institute of Graphic Arts. Warhol wasn t just an artist, he was also an American Draftsman,

rights as a natural person and can incur debt, sue and can also be sued. In this business structure, every
