In contemporary philosophy of mind, talk of perception has fallen out of favour. Indeed most writers
to deny perception altogether, or claim that they do not matter. Instead they reduce perception to
reality, or speak of the really real. Perception are said to be nothing but particles or waves or
structured brain events. Always already Nothing but matter and motion. One influential philosopher of
mind, Paul Churchland in his book The Engine of Reason, The Seat of the Soul replaces the perceiver
with functioning biological bodies. The perceiver gets reduced to an organized body, mind becomes
the brain, body motions become actions, man becomes the person. Churchland redefines phenomenal
qualities as being nothing but properties of the brain. Cognitive events such as understanding,
recognising, feeling, and perceiving are replaced with neural analogs. Here psychological events are
treated solely as neural events. This is the prevailing view in cognitive science.
These contemporary materialists have two claims. This first claim is that all perceptions can be
explained in terms of or by reference to neural events and the like. The second claim is that there are
only neural events (and other physical events in the environment). At the heart of the dismissal of
perception is the combination of two beliefs. The first is that science, especially neurological science,

maximized. In B2B the target market is smaller compare to B2C, which has a large target market. The
purchasing aspect in B2B is a multi step process whereas in B2C the purchasing process is a single

have to do is click on the shopping cart to add the item to the cart, once that was done the purchasing

RFID (radio frequency identification) is a technology that was originally developed for use in
transponders in aircrafts during the Second World War. RFID is an information and sensor technology
that can be attached or inserted into objects to collect data through reader devices and tags. It uses
wireless radio waves to transmit and uses devices such as RFID readers, RFID tags, and middleware.

identified.

In the last decade RFID has gained popularity in the logistics and supply chain management fields.
Many warehouses are taking into consideration the adoption of RFID to reduce the operating cost
against the requirement to build an automatic warehouse and labour intensive manual checking. For
warehousing the parameters include communication range, amount of transmittable data,
communication time and speed of tag communication. The communication range is the distance
within which the reader can transmit or receive data to the tag. Beyond this range the items become
undetectable. The amount of data that is transmitted between the tag and reader affects the
performance in terms of transmission time and accuracy. The communication time also impacts the
performance of the RFID system. There is a choke point which is the fixed reader and the RFID is
constrained to a maximum travel velocity when passing the fixed reader location. When travelling
beyond this speed the accuracy to read is very close to zero. So when greater volume of data is passing
the tag will have to essentially pass the reader more slowly for an accurate read, especially in
warehouses.
