Project Planning For A Suitable Development Model Essay
2.1.1 PROJECT PLANNING: Project planning consists of the following important activities: ļƒ˜
Effort, cost, resource and project duration estimation. ļƒ˜ Risk identification and analysis. An important
task performed during the project planning stage is the selection of a suitable development model. We
are developing E ą¤Ŗą¤°ą„€ą¤•ą„ą¤·ą¤¾ web site which is based on Spiral Model, because it offers a means of making
the development process more visible. Because of the cascade from one phase to another, this model is
known as Spiral Model. It is also known as System Life Cycle. 2.1.1.1 The Spiral Model: Spiral
model is a combination of iterative development process model and sequential linear development
model i.e. waterfall model with very high emphasis on risk analysis. It allows for incremental releases
of the product, or incremental refinement through each iteration around the spiral. The spiral model
has four phases. A software project repeatedly passes through these phases in iterations called Spirals .
1) IDENTIFICATION 2) DESIGN 3) CONSTRUCTOR BUILD 4) EVALUATION AND RISK
ANALYSIS 1) IDENTIFICATION : This phase starts with gathering the business requirements in the
baseline spiral. In the subsequent spirals as the product matures, identification of system requirements,
subsystem requirements and unit requirements are all done in this phase. This also includes
understanding the system requirements by continuous communication between the customer and the

Cyber Attacks And The Internet
The terms hacker and hacking are often associated with malicious cyber attacks carried out by no
name specters wandering around in cyberspace. These people intentionally create virtual chaos for
anyone or any computer connected to the internet (global network). Such activities range from causing
system errors program crashes, lockups, and system shutdowns to intrusion attempts to gain access to
private information or data, and even to steal personal funds. A decent hacker can gain total control
over a user s PC while it s in use. Generally, hackers disrupt the flow of normal everyday life by
manipulating security codes, capitalizing on security vulnerabilities to take advantage of many
computer users, private networks, and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
It is a shadowy task but it is performed only to better protect consumer s physical and virtual property.
A majority consensus views hackers as evil people who do nothing by play around in computers all
day to improve their intrusion techniques in order to steal money, information, and cripple computer
systems for various reasons. Based on the second paragraph of this paper, the consensus is somewhat
flawed. The confusion stems from the definition of hacker and how they have been perceived.
Hacking was originally defined as the production of furniture with the use of an axe, but MIT
(Massachusetts Institute of Technology the origination of the replacement term hacker) define it as
students who pulled pranks with the use of a computer. In 1963, a group of MIT students tied up
phone lines from both the MIT and Harvard Campuses, turning lines inactive and using available lines
to make long distance phone calls that carried hefty phone charges. This was the first instance of the
term being applied to the young, and rising profession of hacking. It has since then been in permanent
use due to the evolutional path of hacking the aspect that was widely publicized.
In 1983, the 414s, a group of 6 computer hackers, broke into Sloan Kettering Cancer Center computer
systems and deleted a number of patient billing information. They, again, broke in Los Alamos
National Laboratory known for its research in nuclear technologies. The leader Neal Patrick earned a

Ancient Heroes Vs. Modern Heroes
Ancient Heroes VS. Modern Heroes
Heroes are prevalent in everyone s life. Whether someone s hero is a living person or a fabled
character from a movie, everybody has come into contact with some sort of hero. In fact, the concept
of heroes has existed for hundreds of years, dating all the way back to Ancient Greece. Over time,
heroes have drastically changed. As society has evolved, our heroes have evolved with it. Their goals
and motivations have changed to coincide with the views of modern society. Modern day heroes have
less selfish motives, better qualities, and are portrayed differently than ancient heroes.
The word heroism brings to mind different things to different people. This is because people tend to
have different concepts of heroism and what it means. The definition of heroism has changed a lot
since ancient times and will continue to change. Despite these changes, there are a few things about
heroes that will never change. A hero can be described as a person who is admired or idealized for
courage, outstanding achievements, or noble qualities. Both ancient and modern day heroes are
idealized for possessing these traits. Heroes, no matter from what time period, will always be
powerful, strong, brave, and valued.
In ancient times, heroes had a different motivation for performing good deeds than they do now. Life
was a lot harder during these times because food, water, and timber for building was scarce. This
caused many ancient heroes to have selfish motives.

Analyzing Michelangelo Antonioni s Blow Up Essay
Film 1B03 T08
Michelangelo Antonioni was an acclaimed Italian film director, revered for his contributions to the
discipline of cinema. In many ways, Michelangelo Antonioni has revolutionized the realm of art
cinema and is responsible for the foundations that the style now rests upon. One of his most influential
films was titled Blow Up. In his first English language film, Antonioni examines themes of perception
and reality, especially in regard to society and the individual. This film has continuous markings of an
art film from the opening sequence to the final credits. In order to analyze the film s style we must be
aware of the criteria that define and differentiate the art and narrative models. In many art films

During this scene there are several elements conforming to the criteria of an art film. First, the
reappearance of Hemmings wife and her claim that she is in Paris is surprising and confusing. This
interaction adds a sense of confusion and detracts from and already limited amount of information and
understanding available to the viewer. The plot line between Hemmings and his model wife is made
clear to be of no use to function of the film, only as an event leading to nothing. It is also in this party
that the protagonist confronts his publisher about his discovery. His disregard for the subject matter
can be interpreted as society s care free ideology and false reality. This is made explicitly evident
when Ron tells Thomas that he is not a photographer, implying he does not care about his quest. Ron,
by choosing to ignore the facts presented before him, is making himself ignorant in an attempt to carry
on a life of uninterrupted pleasure. This removal from reality is one of the fundamental issues
recurrent in this film. Hemmings is faced with a choice between what is moral and what is
comfortable. The moral choice is more difficult and requires him to sacrifice precious time and effort
in order to do what is right. The

The Rise Of Democracy And The Threat Of Persia
The Rise of Democracy and the Threat of Persia occurred during the sixth century BCE however, it
mirrors the issues of the Americas and Great Britain in the sixteenth nineteenth century. In 508 BCE
the Athenian aristocrat Cleisthenes instituted the first Athenian political democracy. The Athenian had
endured 50 years of tyranny under the Pisistratus rule. America also was under a tyranny and wanted
to be independent of the monarchy of Britain. As we all know this led to the Revolutionary War.
The Greek playwright Euripides wrote in his play, The Suppliant Women reads like another famous
piece of written art, The Constitution (including the Bill of Rights) of the United States. The
constitution is not a playwright but it flows like poetry.

Then, we have internal users of accounting information, such as employees and the various types of
managers (i.e., purchasing managers and marketing managers). Accurate accounting is extremely
crucial to these individuals who make important financial and business decisions within an
organization that directly affect the business itself (Wild, Larson amp; Chiapetta, 2007, p. 6). A
company, aims to sell goods and services to customers at prices that will provide an adequate return to
its owners (Kanter amp; Pressley, n.d., Slide 1 13). A business must maintain an adequate level of
profitability and liquidity to continue operating (Kanter amp; Pressley, n.d., Slide 1 14). However,
without accounting information, this is not possible. A firm s management needs this information to
properly conduct daily activities within the business, such as finance the company, invest its resources,
produce its goods and/or services, market those goods and/or services, and manage the employees
(Kanter amp; Pressley, n.d., Slide 1 29). However, accounting information is just as critical for internal
users when they make decisions that will affect the

Native American Violence
The ever so basic life principle, violence is never the solution is one that has been taught to everyone
since day one. It s one of the most basic rules of life that we have been told to follow from parents,
teachers, and siblings. Although, in most cases violence is never the solution , Dr. Marcus and his
wife, Narcissa Whitman were incredibly disrespectful to the Native American Indians taking their
land, encouraging more emigrants to migrate, and were downright mean to the Indians. They also
worked incredibly hard to change everything about the Indians ways of life, which prior to the
missionary era had been working for decades. Therefore, I strongly believe that the Cayuse Indian
tribe was right in what they did, because everyone ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Marcus and Narcissa Whitman. They might say this because of the good deeds the Whitmans did and
provided for the Indians. Some of these include Dr. Whitman providing medicinal treatments for the
Indians, and giving them goods such as weapons, tools, ,and/or food. Some people also believe it was
not OK for the Cayuse to kill the Whitmans because apparently there were no conflicts between them.
According to The Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation, the trappers were much
impressed by the native religion in the area and found no conflict between Christianity and Native
religion. Fur companies often encouraged their men to take Indian wives and marry into the tribes to
strengthen trade relationships . This quote shows how the relationship between the Indians and
Whitmans was good; and also how the Whitmans should not have been killed because they were kind

The Buddha In The Attic Summary
The Buddha in the Attic is particularly a novel about the present, offering a historical allegory of the
somewhat recent experience after 9/11, more than just a reflection on Americas s past. In an interview,
Otsuka said, I saw parallels between the treatment of the Japanese after the bombing of Pearl Harbor
and the public scrutiny and surveillance under which Muslim Americans struggled in the past decade.
Thousands of Japanese women immigrated to the U.S as a result of the Omiai custom. The word
Omiai is often mistranslated as arranged marriages whereas the custom lies so close to our Indian
understanding of what we mistranslate as arrange marriages. Unlike arrange marriages, the custom
requires serious consideration on religion, class, bloodline, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

There was a sudden population burst of Japanese in America and new anti Japanese sentiments in the
year 1920 worsened the situation of the picture brides. As a result of the mass immigration and
criticism of the Japanese immigration law, the issue of passports to these picture brides had to be
stopped by the Japanese government. Community leaders started providing counseling and referral
services to the picture brides in the U.S. Kelly Simpson wrote a majority of picture brides stayed in
the United States, helping the Japanese Diaspora survive and thrive. Otsuka precisely showed the
smallest details of the lives of the Nisei and the Issei. She cleverly named the book The Buddha in the
Attic to justify the situation of the Picture brides. Buddha symbolizes peace, the peace that was never
a part of the lives of these women. Japan was a Buddhist country and their customs, traditions and the
individuals were shaped through these beliefs. The Buddha in the title represents the Japanese culture
that is close and dear to these picture brides and during the war when their trunks containing their
Japanese possessions were burnt, the attic was the last place left for the Buddha

Persuasive Essay On Snow Leopards
Endangered species is a quandary to an ecosystem in an environment. The snow leopard is an animal
that has been endangered since 1972. They are endangered for the most common reasons such as
being hunted for fur but also for more effective reasons for the peopleof the snow leopard s habitat,
central Asia. The snow leopard is at an advantage of being at thetop of the food chain, but their food
source is beginning to take a toll as that is being hunted as well. Regardless of endangering factors to
the snow leopard, any contingencies have to becontemplated to save what s left of the population. The
snow leopard is a panthera uncia whose conservation status is endangered. Therationale for this
predicament is that it is quite conventional for hunters in central Asia to hunt these animals for their
fur. Hunting for fur is the most frequent vindication for a species to go endangered; however, now
leopards have another reason to be hunted and that is for their organs, bones, and skin. These
circumstances are more advantageous for Asian medicines.Hunting is not only a concern for the snow
leopard but also to livestock such as sheep and goats. However, these hunts are a key component to
snow leopards because these animals are what snow leopards prey on. With a viable food source being
withdrawn from a habitat, the snow leopards are found to be desperate for a food source. Snow
leopards are in an onerous condition if the hunts continue and their food source is being extracted. The
endangerment of the snow leopard not only lies on the foundation of excessive hunts and food
removal but also in the uncontrollable ecosystem transformations. Snow leopards are found in the
mountainous terrain of central Asia. Normally they live 3,000 and 5,400 meters aloft sea level.
However, if the latitude is lower, for say 1,000 meters above sea level then climates are instituted to be
cold and dry letting a limited amount of vegetation, grass or shrubs, to grow, which only grow in
vertiginous inclinations of the mountains. Snow leopards will habitually appoint subdued terrains,
escarpments, or ravines. This ecosystem may be at a lost, though, as global climate changes an

Reading has been considered a great source of knowledge for a very long time. Reading does not
merely mean just reading what is written in the piece of paper but it is about understanding what has

Knowing that land is a taonga (treasure) to Māori people, it made me think about the negative impact
it had on them due to not being able to have a control over their own land and gradually losing their
language, culture, and spirituality due to colonisation.
Throughout the reading, the writer listed multiple examples supported with other researches about the
systematic dispossession of Māori land (Wynyard, 2017) which helped me understood and grasp the
ideas that the writer wanted to put across. It has also helped me understand the severity of the issue on
this topic.
Before reading Wynyard s article, I was aware of the general story about how Māori people sold their
land in exchange for guns, clothing, and unfamiliar items that the British settlers had. I came to know
about this information through hearsay when I first arrived in the country and wanted to know a quick
story about New Zealand and Māori people. It was just in the last few years that I was given more and
appropriate information about the true history of Aotearoa New Zealand (hearing it from Māori s
viewpoint). Upon reading this article, I came to realise the suffering that Māori people had to go
through at the time in regards to losing their land and the Government not honouring their part of the
Treaty of Waitangi (Wynyard, 2017). The writer also introduced me to new concepts that changed my
viewpoint as to why Māori people are

London Short Story Analysis
London, 1827. I m off to work! Cole shouts to his parents as he closes the house door behind him.
Today is his first day of work, and he is very excited. When Cole moved to the city, he found a job in
one of the factories, and being inspired by machinery, he applied and was accepted. Cole is 17 years
old, and is tall with black hair and a thin build. As a kid, he loved school, and would go voluntarily,
unlike some of his classmates, and so he is expecting great things from his first job. From his house,
Cole starts walking down the main street of the city. People bustle all around him, and he is shoved in
all directions. Desperate to avoid the flow of pedestrians, Cole pushes through to the side of the road,
out of the way. I can finally rest, he thought to himself. Just when all seemed calm, he hears a loud
sound on his right. Turning, he sees that there is a huge machine passing on a bridge near him. I think
it s called a train , he wonders. The massive machine speeds across the city with a thundering noise.
What a monstrous yet beautiful invention. How could anyone even think of something of such
complexity... His thoughts are suddenly interrupted by another man who shouts, Get out of the way
kid, I ve got a job to be at! He then shoves Cole, knocking him to the side, and continues walking. His
head spinning, Cole stumbles back onto the sidewalk, the bustle of people having passed by, and he
lays down to ease off the pain from the encounter. One aspect about Cole is that he never becomes
angry, not even when a person hits him. From his position on the ground, Cole tries to look up at the
sky, except that it is completely hidden by the thick smog of the factories drifting over the city. He sits
up. In front of him down the street, he sees dozens of tall buildings being built, and dozens others
already finished. He had never seen such large buildings, but he had also never seen so many in one
area. Neither had he seen a place like the city where tens of thousands of people are walking in the
streets and cycling. Compared to this, the village he used to live in the countryside was miniscule. The
scale of the city was astonishing, and it sucked the words out of Cole s mouth. He rapidly stands up,

Home Depot was founded in 1978 by Bernie Marcus and Arthur blank, their first two stores were
opened the following year, the idea behind the company was to offer an extensive one stop home

their main target consumer was an individual who needed materials, tools and possibly some advice

business models, and regional subcultures further refine business models (Gao.2013). Gao further
goes on to argue that is important for international retailers to rearrange themselves and rebuild their
business models if they are to succeed in the Chinese market.
Firms doing business internationally must be able to leverage their global brand and adapt it to local
consumer cultures. For example, Home Depot major competitor B Q having faced a difficult start tin
the Chinese market was able to adapt to the local consumer culture(Feng,2012) They achieved this by
creating strong brand awareness by giving innovative service offerings to their consumers, they

Destructive Cult
The world of cults is a misunderstood, yet dangerous to those captured by the community they bring,
and sometimes to their biological family. Cults are often seen as small, close knit groups of mentally
weak, crazy people, led by a power hungry source of insanity. While most of this may be true, the idea
that only the weak enter into cults is a fabrication to make people feel good about themselves, seeing
themselves as above the absurd ravings of a madman. Cults are never this simple, whether it be the

responsibility of medical emergency nurse to make accurate assessments in emergency. If a nurse
shows carelessness and there is no accurate assessment of the patient done then there are several
consequences of this and it not only waste patient s time but can also lead towards serious medical

The World War I, The Australian Home Front
During World War I, the Australian home front was impacted by a long and varying list of occurrences
during the period of time between the years of 1914 to 1918. The home front was influenced
politically through the arguments over the conscription vote and as Australia became divided between
the different war beliefs. It was also influenced by social change, as the use of censorship drastically
altered the Australians views of war and women began to pick up odd jobs in order to assist the
soldiers as very few of them were allowed to directly help as nurses in Gallipoli. There were also
extreme economic alterations as the wages in Australia were pushed down and prices were pushed up,
and the country discarded major trade partners who had become their enemy.
***
The Australian home front during WWI was drastically altered politically through the conscription
vote that Billy Hughes, Prime Minister of Australia, believed necessary. 50,000 Australian men had
signed up for the war before the year of 1914 had come to an end which was a rate of over 10,000 per
month but the enlistment numbers dropped way down to 6,000 for the month of the Gallipoli landing
in 1915. Once again, however, the numbers rose sharply on the home front after the news of the
landing came back home, as many wished to avenge their fallen countrymen, and nobody could
question the solemnity of the conflict. With five whole divisions overseas, Australia had to stay
committed to their recruitment for the

Nike s Two-In-One Visor
Price
As the world s leading innovator in sports equipment, Nike currently sells a variety of football helmets
and visors. With the new transition visor the company will be able to incorporate the current inventory
and present them in a new way.
This product is created from Nike s current line of football equipment and will be sold to department
and retail stores for $45. This is the price that Dick s Sporting Goods and other stores are going to pay
for the product. When the product reaches the store shelves, the final price tag is estimated to be
around $60. Nike wants the product to appeal to the variety levels and ages of our consumers.
With the visor, Nike wants to make it easier on the customer to just buy one item instead of having ...

Football players who are looking for a visor are going to want just the right one. There are many other
companies who sell football visors. These other visors come in either clear or tinted. There is not one
that transitions with the sun or stadium lights and then the darkness. If you were a football player
looking for a visor, wouldn t you want the one that best fit your needs? As producers of the Nike
Gridiron Transition Shield, we recognize that consumers who would want to purchase this product are
familiar with the type of product that they are buying. For this reason, we are placing our product in
our own Nike retail stores and we will also be targeting sports stores, like Dick s Sporting Goods. We
want consumers to be able to see right away which product they want. Having our product next to the
clear visors and the shaded ones, should make the choice clear for our consumers. Putting our product
in our own stores as well as other sports stores will increase profits for Nike as well as provide our
customers with a product that is a combination of two products. This will in turn save the consumer
money and make them

Making Use of Essential Oils
When my boy was born in 2006 I was delighted! We had actually currently been actually blessed with
a stunning daughter and I was so enthusiastic when it comes to a child. I didn t know that each kid not
just possesses their own character yet their personal personal immune systems also. My initial little
one was actually often well balanced and lively. As my child started to develop our team recognized
he appeared in order to catch all your assets that appeared in order to be moving about. Not simply
will he see all your assets however it would definitely linger for full weeks. That felt like one illness
just rolled in to an additional, after that one more, repeated when it comes to the very first three four
years of his way of life.
In 2010 I turned into expectant with our third youngster and I experienced morning sickness unlike
my very first a couple of pregnancies. Over times I had ended up being a lot more mindful of natural
choices as well as I was quite untrusting of getting the usual supplements these guys offer for morning
sickness. I got a good friend that had spoken a little approximately essential oils to me. While they
seemed wonderful these guys weren t something I had definitely enjoyed until I was actually
despairing when it comes to an answer. So I contacted her in order to view if there was actually almost
anything she recognized of that could possibly aid with my morning sickness. Little accomplished I
recognize the things an impact this little talk might

The Digital Music Industry Is Forever Evolving
The digital music industry is forever evolving. The problem of piracy has been created when people
began to illegally download music. Music should not be pirated. Piracy can be partially reduced by
using various advertising messages encouraging students not to pirate. Music producers should be a
given the right to their music. Producers and advertising agencies can work hand in hand to fight the
battle of music piracy.
The majority of college students may see music piracy as nothing but a way to retrieve the new music
they want to listen to but producers see it as much more than that. The problem with this is that
college students download an estimated 1 billion songs a year (317).Piracy is defined as the
unauthorized use of a copyrighted work of material. Producers work hard to produce their music. They
try and sell their music in order to make a living. Pirating is illegal, but in this digital age, there are so
many ways around it. Producers are having to work with advertising agencies to combat this illegal act
from taking place. A study done by three professors from Syracuse and Marquette University looked
at how this could take place. They came up with a creative way to solve this problem.
The study showed a way to prevent piracy and how to keep college students from illegally
downloading music. It is broken down in to the four phases of how the research was done. The
research was done over two years and backed up by many other sources. The structure of the paper is

The Pros And Cons Of The Drinking Age
When picturing college people should think about huge classrooms, hard professors, and a better
learning experience than they have ever received before. In reality, two things come to everyone s
mind before anything else: partying every night and binge drinking. The United States has some of the
highest rates of underage drinking and hospitalizations due to alcohol poisoning. In Barrett Seaman s
article, How Bingeing Became the New College Sport, Seaman argues that continuously adding more
restrictions to the drinking law could be making the issue worse or causing the entire problem. By
focusing on college binge drinking, Seaman convinces his readers that instead of twenty one, the US
should lower the drinking age to promote appropriate drinking habits. The drinking age set at eighteen
was not originally an issue. In the late 60s, the voting age was changed to eighteen; privacy laws were
enacted; and the drinking age, depending on each states decision, was lowered to eighteen as the new
age that legally defined adulthood (Seaman 1 2). Then in 1984, Congress was influenced by Mothers
Against Drunk Driving to pass a law that combined compliance of the states with federal aid highway
funds in exchange for the members support; forcing the states to raise the drinking age to twenty one.
There is no doubt that the law, which achieved full 50 state compliance in 1988, saved lives, but it had
the unintended consequence of creating a covert culture around alcohol as the young

The Characteristics Of The Hawksbill Sea Turtle
The Hawksbill Sea Turtle is one of the many sea turtles that are going extinct. People may never know
when these cute, big sea turtles will be seen again. The Hawksbill Sea Turtles are one of the many
unique animals that should not go away forever and only to be seen in a picture book instead of real
life.
The Hawksbill Sea Turtle has many wonderful features that other turtles and animals do not have.
They get their name, Hawksbill, for their hawk beak like jaw. (Kalman Pg.16) Their jaw is also very
powerful. (Hawksbill Sea Turtle) The sea turtle is a small to medium size marine turtle. (Hawksbill
Sea Turtle (Eretmochelys Imbricata)) It has a beautiful, translucent, and oval shaped shell. They have
an overlapping scutes on their carapace, a relatively small head, and they have flippers with two claws
on each of them. (Hawksbill Sea Turtle (Eretmochelys Imbricata)) and (Hawksbill Sea Turtle) The
Hawksbill Sea Turtle s shell has many wonderful colors and streaks. (Hawksbill Sea Turtle) Their
shells can be black, orange, or even golden brown with streaks of orange, red, or black. (Hawksbill

Prednisolone Is Chemically Known As A Corticosteroid
Prednisolone is chemically known as a corticosteroid which is a steroid hormones (DIAAIC). The
corticosteroids are produced in the adrenal cortex and come in two forms; glucocorticoids and
mineralocorticoids. The two forms differ in that glucocorticoids act as anti inflammatory steroids and
as a metabolising agent. The mineralocorticoids however, work to maintain a balance between the
water and salt levels in the body. Prednisolone is used to treat inflammatory diseases and is therefore
known as a synthetic glucocorticosteroid . Steroids work by reducing swelling and inflammation
(DIAAIC).
Pharmacology
The corticosteroids work by supervising the rate at which the proteins are synthesised. This happens
through the reaction of the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In the pharmacokinetics aspect, prednisolone is mainly dependent on two characteristics; dosage and
age. Based on how the drug is bound in the plasma, the distribution of the drug can be determined. A
high dosage of prednisolone leads to an increase in the volume of distributed drug. This is due to the
non linear binding of the drug. It is recommended for patients with other disorders to lower their
dosage intake of prednisolone (LinkSpringer). The half life of prednisolone differs in accordance to
age; the half life in children being the shortest. A common issue with patients who take prednisolone
drugs is that the levels of serum binding proteins are low in the patients blood. This is known as
hypoalbuminaemia. The serum binding proteins are important in that they allow the drug to bind for it
to take effect. If a patient were to take oral contraceptives whilst on the prednisolone drugs, it would
decrease the half life and the volume of drug distributed. This would be as a result of high levels of
corticosteroids (LinkSpringer).
Side Effects and counselling
When a patient is prescribed with prednisolone, they must ensure that the prescriber is aware of any
other medications the patient may be taking and of other health issues, if any. This is because different
drugs work in different ways and so to ensure the prednisolone works effectively, the patient

Martin Luther King Assassination Essay
Martin Luther King Assassination
(word count for research paper includes 1,400 word outline)
It was a glorious April 4th evening as Martin Luther King and hundreds of followers were gathering
for a civil rights march. Many cheered on as the civil rights leader graciously out step on the second
floor balcony of the Motel Lorraine. Roaring cheers rose from the crowd rose up as Martin Luther
King stand there waving his arm with his heart warming smile waiting for the uprising taper off so he
can continue with his speech. When suddenly a piercing blast broke the noise and the crowd s cheerful
spirit died. A cold chill went through all who were present fore in the back of their minds there was no
doubt that their King had just been ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
(Lindop83) This got authorities very annoyed at King because they did not want change and King
protest did it constitutionally legal. As a result police started arresting King for trivial reasons such as
doing 30mph in a 25 zone, sitting in white places, civil rights marches, boycotting the busses
etceteras. In all he went to jail over 30 times. (Lindop 82) It didn t stop there the FBI or at least the
head of the FBI, Jay Edgar Hoover, even hated King. Nobody hated Martin Luther King more than J.
Edgar Hoover (Clarke 255) King was well aware that the FBI was, as he put it, out to break me.
(Melanson 134) That was obvious being that the FBI used many man hours in harassing King. King
life was threatened by the FBI about 50 times and harassed enough to literally have entire books on
the subject. A primary example of this is when the FBI dubbed a phony tape of King with another
women and used to blackmail King into committing suicide. In January of 1968, three months before
the assassination, an internal memo was distributed by Hoover calling for, the Removal of King from
the national scene. After all the harassment King endured he still refused to retaliate in any illegal acts
which continued to infuriate authorities.
Conspicuously, the aliases James

A Large Computer Forensics Laboratory
A Coordination Plan is critical to the success of a large computer forensics laboratory. It is necessary
for not only members of the forensics team, but for synchronizing with organizational leads and legal
entities. Most labs are operated under best practices and are structured within a hierarchy from the
investigation assistant, the lab assistant, the lead investigator as well as the project lead. These
positions can be changed based on the case and expertise required. Best practices state that personnel
assignments should be made prior to starting the investigation. The coordination plan should be
discussed at all levels of an organization since the lab needs to comply with the overall rules and
regulations of the organization, but it is also likely that the lab s functions will impact the organization
at some point. Competencies Coordination is critical at the senior leadership level in order to facilitate
continuity of operations plan (COOP) planning. Most facilities that are Information technology centric
focuses primarily on IT contingency plan. The IT contingency plan is a function of the COOP and
must be orchestrated with great care. In order to create a comprehensive COOP, many departments
within the organization must be involved. Finance, managers, network engineers, facilities personnel,
system administrators, and security professionals are key stakeholders during COOP development
process. Coordination with outside organizations is required in order to

Functional Group Decision Making
Functional Group Decision Making(FDM)
Definition
FDM answers the basic question asked by the developers of this theory. Their question is as follows.
Why do some groups make good decisions while others make bad ones? Their model argues that the
answer to this question has to do with whether the group has successfully accomplished four
functions, which they call requisite functions (pg.141). The four functions of this theory are problem
analysis, goal setting, identify alternatives, and evaluate and select. Problem analysis is when the
group focuses on the nature, extent and likely causes of the problem. This requires the group to be
careful when differentiating between problems and the symptoms of the problems. Goal setting is
when the group identifies what an ideal solution would look like. The group decides what elements are
necessary and what elements are ideal but not necessary. Identifying alternatives is when the group
generates a large number of possible solutions. This is when the group wants to brainstorm as many
possible solutions, no matter what the quality of the solution is. Finally, evaluate and select is when
the group evaluate each alternative using the established goals.
Examples From The Film
Goal setting is the first example that I found in the film. I saw this when the foreman says what the
goal of the jury is and what is needed for the guilty or not guilty verdict. I saw that one of the jurors
used problem analysis. This was when the juror started

Raising The Driving Age Essay
I would like to offer my opinion about the possibility of increasing the legal age limit of obtaining a
driver s licence to 18 years of age which has been a source of disagreement in the media lately. I
completely believe that raising the legal driving age is unnecessary.
I believe that this change is an unnecessary and inappropriate one as the age of the driver is not the
problem, the problem is that people still don t fully understand the rules of the road whether that be P
platers, 10 years experience, 20 years or even 30 years of driving experience. A solution to this
problem would be creating a mandatory retest that each person with a licence must sit every 10 years
and every 5 years for persons over the age of 60 as hand eye co ordination and reflexes start to
deteriorate.
Raising the legal driving age from 17 to 18 is unwise as 17 year olds have a much more focused mind
at this point in their lives as they are not consumed by necessities such as year 12 results, planning for
the future and either obtaining or maintaining employment. Continuing to keep the driving age at 17
will lower stress in teens as it is one part of their lives that they have control over and gives them
freedom which leads onto my next point, freedom.
Freedom. Allowing teens to drive at the age of 17 not only gives the teen freedom, but also their
parents. This ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In fact I believe that raising the drivers age from 17 to 18 will have a greater negative effect on not
only the roads but also on the lives of families as it adds additional stress and pressure to teens already

safer compared to if drivers started at the age of

Project Planning For A Suitable Development Model Essay 2.1.1 PROJECT PLANNING: Project planning consists of the following important activities: ļƒ˜ Effort, cost, resource and project duration estimation. ļƒ˜ Risk identification and analysis. An important task performed during the project planning stage is the selection of a suitable development model. We are developing E ą¤Ŗą¤°ą„€ą¤•ą„ą¤·ą¤¾ web site which is based on Spiral Model, because it offers a means of making the development process more visible. Because of the cascade from one phase to another, this model is known as Spiral Model. It is also known as System Life Cycle. 2.1.1.1 The Spiral Model: Spiral model is a combination of iterative development process model and sequential linear development model i.e. waterfall model with very high emphasis on risk analysis. It allows for incremental releases of the product, or incremental refinement through each iteration around the spiral. The spiral model has four phases. A software project repeatedly passes through these phases in iterations called Spirals . 1) IDENTIFICATION 2) DESIGN 3) CONSTRUCTOR BUILD 4) EVALUATION AND RISK ANALYSIS 1) IDENTIFICATION : This phase starts with gathering the business requirements in the baseline spiral. In the subsequent spirals as the product matures, identification of system requirements, subsystem requirements and unit requirements are all done in this phase. A majority consensus views hackers as evil people who do nothing by play around in computers all day to improve their intrusion techniques in order to steal money, information, and cripple computer systems for various reasons. Based on the second paragraph of this paper, the consensus is somewhat flawed. The confusion stems from the definition of hacker and how they have been perceived. Hacking was originally defined as the production of furniture with the use of an axe, but MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology the origination of the replacement term hacker) define it as students who pulled pranks with the use of a computer. In 1963, a group of MIT students tied up phone lines from both the MIT and Harvard Campuses, turning lines inactive and using available lines to make long distance phone calls that carried hefty phone charges. This was the first instance of the term being applied to the young, and rising profession of hacking. It has since then been in permanent use due to the evolutional path of hacking the aspect that was widely publicized. In 1983, the 414s, a group of 6 computer hackers, broke into Sloan Kettering Cancer Center computer systems and deleted a number of patient billing information. • 4. Ancient Heroes Vs. Modern Heroes Ancient Heroes VS. Modern Heroes Heroes are prevalent in everyone s life. Whether someone s hero is a living person or a fabled character from a movie, everybody has come into contact with some sort of hero. In fact, the concept of heroes has existed for hundreds of years, dating all the way back to Ancient Greece. Over time, heroes have drastically changed. As society has evolved, our heroes have evolved with it. Their goals and motivations have changed to coincide with the views of modern society. Modern day heroes have less selfish motives, better qualities, and are portrayed differently than ancient heroes. The word heroism brings to mind different things to different people. This is because people tend to have different concepts of heroism and what it means. The definition of heroism has changed a lot since ancient times and will continue to change. Despite these changes, there are a few things about heroes that will never change. A hero can be described as a person who is admired or idealized for courage, outstanding achievements, or noble qualities. Both ancient and modern day heroes are idealized for possessing these traits. Heroes, no matter from what time period, will always be powerful, strong, brave, and valued. In ancient times, heroes had a different motivation for performing good deeds than they do now. Life was a lot harder during these times because food, water, and timber for building was scarce. This caused many ancient heroes to have selfish motives. ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

One of his most influential films was titled Blow Up. In his first English language film, Antonioni examines themes of perception and reality, especially in regard to society and the individual. First, the reappearance of Hemmings wife and her claim that she is in Paris is surprising and confusing. The plot line between Hemmings and his model wife is made clear to be of no use to function of the film, only as an event leading to nothing. It is also in this party that the protagonist confronts his publisher about his discovery. His disregard for the subject matter can be interpreted as society s care free ideology and false reality. This is made explicitly evident when Ron tells Thomas that he is not a photographer, implying he does not care about his quest. Ron, by choosing to ignore the facts presented before him, is making himself ignorant in an attempt to carry on a life of uninterrupted pleasure. This removal from reality is one of the fundamental issues recurrent in this film. Hemmings is faced with a choice between what is moral and what is comfortable. The moral choice is more difficult and requires him to sacrifice precious time and effort in order to do what is right. The ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The Buddha In The Attic Summary The Buddha in the Attic is particularly a novel about the present, offering a historical allegory of the somewhat recent experience after 9/11, more than just a reflection on Americas s past. In an interview, Otsuka said, I saw parallels between the treatment of the Japanese after the bombing of Pearl Harbor and the public scrutiny and surveillance under which Muslim Americans struggled in the past decade. Thousands of Japanese women immigrated to the U.S as a result of the Omiai custom. • 11. Persuasive Essay On Snow Leopards Endangered species is a quandary to an ecosystem in an environment. The snow leopard is an animal that has been endangered since 1972. They are endangered for the most common reasons such as being hunted for fur but also for more effective reasons for the peopleof the snow leopard s habitat, central Asia. The snow leopard is at an advantage of being at thetop of the food chain, but their food source is beginning to take a toll as that is being hunted as well. Regardless of endangering factors to the snow leopard, any contingencies have to becontemplated to save what s left of the population. The snow leopard is a panthera uncia whose conservation status is endangered. Therationale for this predicament is that it is quite conventional for hunters in central Asia to hunt these animals for their fur. Hunting for fur is the most frequent vindication for a species to go endangered; however, now leopards have another reason to be hunted and that is for their organs, bones, and skin. These circumstances are more advantageous for Asian medicines.Hunting is not only a concern for the snow leopard but also to livestock such as sheep and goats. However, these hunts are a key component to snow leopards because these animals are what snow leopards prey on. With a viable food source being withdrawn from a habitat, the snow leopards are found to be desperate for a food source. Snow leopards are in an onerous condition if the hunts continue and their food source is being extracted. The endangerment of the snow leopard not only lies on the foundation of excessive hunts and food removal but also in the uncontrollable ecosystem transformations. Snow leopards are found in the mountainous terrain of central Asia. Normally they live 3,000 and 5,400 meters aloft sea level. However, if the latitude is lower, for say 1,000 meters above sea level then climates are instituted to be cold and dry letting a limited amount of vegetation, grass or shrubs, to grow, which only grow in vertiginous inclinations of the mountains. Snow leopards will habitually appoint subdued terrains, escarpments, or ravines. This ecosystem may be at a lost, though, as global climate changes an ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Desperate to avoid the flow of pedestrians, Cole pushes through to the side of the road, out of the way. I can finally rest, he thought to himself. Just when all seemed calm, he hears a loud sound on his right. Turning, he sees that there is a huge machine passing on a bridge near him. I think it s called a train , he wonders. His thoughts are suddenly interrupted by another man who shouts, Get out of the way kid, I ve got a job to be at! He then shoves Cole, knocking him to the side, and continues walking. His head spinning, Cole stumbles back onto the sidewalk, the bustle of people having passed by, and he lays down to ease off the pain from the encounter. One aspect about Cole is that he never becomes angry, not even when a person hits him. From his position on the ground, Cole tries to look up at the sky, except that it is completely hidden by the thick smog of the factories drifting over the city. He sits up. In front of him down the street, he sees dozens of tall buildings being built, and dozens others already finished. He had never seen such large buildings, but he had also never seen so many in one area. Neither had he seen a place like the city where tens of thousands of people are walking in the streets and cycling. Compared to this, the village he used to live in the countryside was miniscule. The World War I, The Australian Home Front During World War I, the Australian home front was impacted by a long and varying list of occurrences during the period of time between the years of 1914 to 1918. The home front was influenced politically through the arguments over the conscription vote and as Australia became divided between the different war beliefs. It was also influenced by social change, as the use of censorship drastically altered the Australians views of war and women began to pick up odd jobs in order to assist the soldiers as very few of them were allowed to directly help as nurses in Gallipoli. There were also extreme economic alterations as the wages in Australia were pushed down and prices were pushed up, and the country discarded major trade partners who had become their enemy. *** The Australian home front during WWI was drastically altered politically through the conscription vote that Billy Hughes, Prime Minister of Australia, believed necessary. 50,000 Australian men had signed up for the war before the year of 1914 had come to an end which was a rate of over 10,000 per month but the enlistment numbers dropped way down to 6,000 for the month of the Gallipoli landing in 1915. Putting our product in our own stores as well as other sports stores will increase profits for Nike as well as provide our customers with a product that is a combination of two products. This will in turn save the consumer money and make them ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 25. The Digital Music Industry Is Forever Evolving The digital music industry is forever evolving. The problem of piracy has been created when people began to illegally download music. Music should not be pirated. Piracy can be partially reduced by using various advertising messages encouraging students not to pirate. Music producers should be a given the right to their music. Producers and advertising agencies can work hand in hand to fight the battle of music piracy. The majority of college students may see music piracy as nothing but a way to retrieve the new music they want to listen to but producers see it as much more than that. The problem with this is that college students download an estimated 1 billion songs a year (317).Piracy is defined as the unauthorized use of a copyrighted work of material. Producers work hard to produce their music. They try and sell their music in order to make a living. Pirating is illegal, but in this digital age, there are so many ways around it. Producers are having to work with advertising agencies to combat this illegal act from taking place. A study done by three professors from Syracuse and Marquette University looked at how this could take place. They came up with a creative way to solve this problem. The study showed a way to prevent piracy and how to keep college students from illegally downloading music. It is broken down in to the four phases of how the research was done. The research was done over two years and backed up by many other sources. The structure of the paper is ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 26. The Pros And Cons Of The Drinking Age When picturing college people should think about huge classrooms, hard professors, and a better learning experience than they have ever received before. In reality, two things come to everyone s mind before anything else: partying every night and binge drinking. The United States has some of the highest rates of underage drinking and hospitalizations due to alcohol poisoning. In Barrett Seaman s article, How Bingeing Became the New College Sport, Seaman argues that continuously adding more restrictions to the drinking law could be making the issue worse or causing the entire problem. By focusing on college binge drinking, Seaman convinces his readers that instead of twenty one, the US should lower the drinking age to promote appropriate drinking habits. The drinking age set at eighteen was not originally an issue. In the late 60s, the voting age was changed to eighteen; privacy laws were enacted; and the drinking age, depending on each states decision, was lowered to eighteen as the new age that legally defined adulthood (Seaman 1 2). Then in 1984, Congress was influenced by Mothers Against Drunk Driving to pass a law that combined compliance of the states with federal aid highway funds in exchange for the members support; forcing the states to raise the drinking age to twenty one. There is no doubt that the law, which achieved full 50 state compliance in 1988, saved lives, but it had the unintended consequence of creating a covert culture around alcohol as the young ... • 28. Prednisolone Is Chemically Known As A Corticosteroid Prednisolone is chemically known as a corticosteroid which is a steroid hormones (DIAAIC). The corticosteroids are produced in the adrenal cortex and come in two forms; glucocorticoids and mineralocorticoids. The two forms differ in that glucocorticoids act as anti inflammatory steroids and as a metabolising agent. The mineralocorticoids however, work to maintain a balance between the water and salt levels in the body. Prednisolone is used to treat inflammatory diseases and is therefore known as a synthetic glucocorticosteroid . Steroids work by reducing swelling and inflammation (DIAAIC). Pharmacology The corticosteroids work by supervising the rate at which the proteins are synthesised. This happens through the reaction of the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... In the pharmacokinetics aspect, prednisolone is mainly dependent on two characteristics; dosage and age. Based on how the drug is bound in the plasma, the distribution of the drug can be determined. A high dosage of prednisolone leads to an increase in the volume of distributed drug. This is due to the non linear binding of the drug. It is recommended for patients with other disorders to lower their dosage intake of prednisolone (LinkSpringer). The half life of prednisolone differs in accordance to age; the half life in children being the shortest. A common issue with patients who take prednisolone drugs is that the levels of serum binding proteins are low in the patients blood. This is known as hypoalbuminaemia. The serum binding proteins are important in that they allow the drug to bind for it to take effect. If a patient were to take oral contraceptives whilst on the prednisolone drugs, it would decrease the half life and the volume of drug distributed. This would be as a result of high levels of corticosteroids (LinkSpringer). Side Effects and counselling When a patient is prescribed with prednisolone, they must ensure that the prescriber is aware of any other medications the patient may be taking and of other health issues, if any. This is because different drugs work in different ways and so to ensure the prednisolone works effectively, the patient ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

As a result police started arresting King for trivial reasons such as doing 30mph in a 25 zone, sitting in white places, civil rights marches, boycotting the busses etceteras. In all he went to jail over 30 times. (Lindop 82) It didn t stop there the FBI or at least the head of the FBI, Jay Edgar Hoover, even hated King. Nobody hated Martin Luther King more than J. Edgar Hoover (Clarke 255) King was well aware that the FBI was, as he put it, out to break me. (Melanson 134) That was obvious being that the FBI used many man hours in harassing King. King life was threatened by the FBI about 50 times and harassed enough to literally have entire books on the subject. A primary example of this is when the FBI dubbed a phony tape of King with another women and used to blackmail King into committing suicide. In January of 1968, three months before the assassination, an internal memo was distributed by Hoover calling for, the Removal of King from the national scene. After all the harassment King endured he still refused to retaliate in any illegal acts which continued to infuriate authorities. Conspicuously, the aliases James ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 30. A Large Computer Forensics Laboratory A Coordination Plan is critical to the success of a large computer forensics laboratory. It is necessary for not only members of the forensics team, but for synchronizing with organizational leads and legal entities. Most labs are operated under best practices and are structured within a hierarchy from the investigation assistant, the lab assistant, the lead investigator as well as the project lead. These positions can be changed based on the case and expertise required. Best practices state that personnel assignments should be made prior to starting the investigation. The coordination plan should be discussed at all levels of an organization since the lab needs to comply with the overall rules and regulations of the organization, but it is also likely that the lab s functions will impact the organization at some point. Competencies Coordination is critical at the senior leadership level in order to facilitate continuity of operations plan (COOP) planning. Most facilities that are Information technology centric focuses primarily on IT contingency plan. The IT contingency plan is a function of the COOP and must be orchestrated with great care. In order to create a comprehensive COOP, many departments within the organization must be involved. Finance, managers, network engineers, facilities personnel, system administrators, and security professionals are key stakeholders during COOP development process. • 31. Functional Group Decision Making Functional Group Decision Making(FDM) Definition FDM answers the basic question asked by the developers of this theory. Their question is as follows. Why do some groups make good decisions while others make bad ones? Their model argues that the answer to this question has to do with whether the group has successfully accomplished four functions, which they call requisite functions (pg.141). The four functions of this theory are problem analysis, goal setting, identify alternatives, and evaluate and select. Problem analysis is when the group focuses on the nature, extent and likely causes of the problem. This requires the group to be careful when differentiating between problems and the symptoms of the problems. Goal setting is when the group identifies what an ideal solution would look like. The group decides what elements are necessary and what elements are ideal but not necessary. Identifying alternatives is when the group generates a large number of possible solutions. This is when the group wants to brainstorm as many possible solutions, no matter what the quality of the solution is. Finally, evaluate and select is when the group evaluate each alternative using the established goals. Examples From The Film Goal setting is the first example that I found in the film. I saw this when the foreman says what the goal of the jury is and what is needed for the guilty or not guilty verdict. I saw that one of the jurors used problem analysis. This was when the juror started ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 32. Raising The Driving Age Essay I would like to offer my opinion about the possibility of increasing the legal age limit of obtaining a driver s licence to 18 years of age which has been a source of disagreement in the media lately. I completely believe that raising the legal driving age is unnecessary. I believe that this change is an unnecessary and inappropriate one as the age of the driver is not the problem, the problem is that people still don t fully understand the rules of the road whether that be P platers, 10 years experience, 20 years or even 30 years of driving experience. A solution to this problem would be creating a mandatory retest that each person with a licence must sit every 10 years and every 5 years for persons over the age of 60 as hand eye co ordination and reflexes start to deteriorate. Raising the legal driving age from 17 to 18 is unwise as 17 year olds have a much more focused mind at this point in their lives as they are not consumed by necessities such as year 12 results, planning for the future and either obtaining or maintaining employment. Continuing to keep the driving age at 17 will lower stress in teens as it is one part of their lives that they have control over and gives them freedom which leads onto my next point, freedom. Freedom. Allowing teens to drive at the age of 17 not only gives the teen freedom, but also their parents. This ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
