• Transitioned the organization to portable laptops vs. PC’s which allowed NYLI staff to work from home
without any down time when the pandemic struck.

host innovative marketing events both digital and live, as well as seek out press coverage.
• Design innovative programs and events including a well-attended Alexander Hamilton-themed escape
room, a virtual holiday scavenger hunt, a virtual Jeopardy event, and two augmented reality rare books
exhibits.
• Moved NYLI’s infrastructure from in-house servers hosting all email, local network files, & patron
access to electronic resources into a fully cloud-based organization not dependent on physical space,
allowing NYLI to operate unhindered by disasters/pandemics.
• Manage assessment measures such as Google Analytics, social media analytics, email campaign
reports, and designed a database to track ROI.

• Instituted both the original NYLI eBooks programs and have grown & maintained them over the years.
• Discovered and recommended a subscription plan vs. ala carte purchases for our eBook program
which saved NYLI ~$70,000/year.
• Completely re-designed the NYLI website from a DotNetNuke platform to WordPress at a cost of
$1,450 compared to the previous website which cost NYLI $27,500, saving the organization over
$25,000.
• Implemented a VOIP phone system.
• Led/managed project to completely re-wire NYLI’s physical space for Internet, including project to re-
wire for new tenant space.
• Implemented major technologies including; federated search, Seamless Catalog, widgets, integration
with major ERMs, EZProxy authentication service, Zoho Creator statistics database, MailChimp
newsletters, HD microfilm scanner, LibGuides, designed NYLI’s intranet, etc.
• Created NYLI’s Disaster Recover/Business Continuity Plan and had it in place well before the
pandemic.
