Teen Pregnancy Problem Solution Essay

May 30th, 2017 Problem Solution Essay Teen pregnancy in the United States: In 2015, a total of
229,715 babies were born to women aged 15 19 years old, for a birth rate of 22.3 per 1,000 women in
this age group. This is another record for U.S. teens and a drop of 8% from 2014. Although reasons for
the declines are not totally clear, evidence suggests these declines are due to more teens abstaining
from sexual activity, and more teens who are sexually active using birth control than in previous years.
Still, the U.S. teen pregnancy rate is substantially higher than in other western industrialized nations,
and racial/ethnic and geographic disparities in teen birth rates persist (cdc.gov). As teenagers (in the
United States), we are peer pressured or tempted to try new things. Some teens tend to try out drugs,
and alcohol. However, some are having unprotected sex in which, is leads to having babies. This is
called, teenage pregnancy. This has caused the United States to create records based off of the
statistics and facts given from, researchers across the United States. In order to help prevent teenage
pregnancy in the United States, teenagers must understand why, having a baby now isn t such a smart
move on their part. Growing up as a teenager (between the ages of 13 19), you are exposed to many
forms of peer pressure. Some of these forms causes us to think is this really worth trying/doing? , or

Organizational Life Cycle
Organizational life cycle Prof.univ.dr. Ion Gh. ROŞCA Prof.univ.dr. George MOLDOVEANU
Academ de Studii Economice din Bucureşti Abstract This paper proposes an analogy between rational
biological model and the organizations development during their existence. So, organizations born or
creation are considered the result of genetic algorithms, transformations are identified with changes
that aim the adapting to the environment, and finally the death treats the state of crisis and bankruptcy.
In every stage of life there are proposals to increase it, by extension of states identified in the human
area and not taken into account in the artificial one, which must learn from the first system, which we

2. Transformations / organizational changes 2.1. Imperative Transformations / changes define the
longest organizational life period and are required to adapt to continuous environmental change. This
process is triggered immediately after the occurrence and action of natural selection open or block the
organization s evolutionary path. 2.2. Typology Having organizational artificial creation, in our
concept as a rational biologic model, provides step by step changes, linear and un exponential.
Investigations of the specific literature have identified three types of transformations, namely: i) the
radical, step by step change; ii) exponential, step by step change; iii) evolutionary, step by step change
(increasing) ; The first category includes the school created by Hammer and Champy, with extensions
in the second group, outlined by the six sigma method. The third group triggered by K. Lewin, we
support and serve as a model, especially for organizations without excellence , as most of those in the
Romanian economy. Evolution, without being Darwin s theory followers and not opposing
creationism, is, in our opinion, in line with a α coefficient more or less, in relation to environmental
conditions. For organizations characterized by excellence, we accept locally reengineering, but as an
exception. Figure 2. Organizational

Advantages Of Single-Sex Schools
Arvin Jason T. Cabuay
Draft of the body
Thesis Statement: Single Sex secondary institutions prepares students academically, psychologically
and socially better than Coeducational schools.
2.0 What makes single sex secondary institutions prepare students better academically?
2.1 Same sex teaching
Teachers have various approaches to their students, students react to these approaches differently.
Male teachers use a teaching style that is effective with the male learning system and female teachers
use a teaching style that is appropriate for the learning system of female students. Leading to the result
of students learning effectively when they are being taught by a teacher of the same gender. Herbert
Grossman Suzanne Grossman (1994). In single sex schools, the teacher can focus on the learning
styles of each segender and use the styles to bring out the best academic performance in each student.
Lessons and activities could be made for a specific sex in mind.
2.1.1 According to Herbert Grossman and Suzanne Grossman (1994) Male teachers teaches in a direct
manner, such an example is that they re focussed on giving more lectures that is about the subject
being taught. They are more likely to criticize the wrong answers made by his students ... Show more

They focus more on the development of the students, they ask many questions and engages in class
discussions often to make sure that the students understands the ideas she is teaching. They tend to
commend their students when their students give a right answer and seldom gives remarks on their
students if they have given the wrong answer. Female teachers are more available to students, they
make more eye contact and keeps a lesser distance from their students. Female teachers are more
sensitive to the students needs and feelings and are less critical and harsh. In grouping their students
they usually chose the members of the group. Herbert Grossman Suzanne Grossman

Ender Wiggin Quotes
In the beginning of Ender s game, we are introduced to Ender Wiggin. Ender Wiggin was a shy kid
who was unaware of all of the possibilities he had. He starts to become a stronger more mature boy
and soon enough realizes all the power he posses. He has an older brother named Peter, and an older
sister named Valentine. He at first is this little, weak kid, and in five years goes from that to a mature
leader of an army. We see him progress to the top of what he becomes, but it does not happen easily.
He has to make many hard decisions that could go any which way. Hey third, we re talkin to you,
Third, hey bugger lover, we re talkin to you. (Card. 6). In the beginning Stilson (a bully) comes up to
Ender with a group of guys. They surround him and start to bully him. At first Ender takes it, then
Stilson swings at him, and we see Ender break out of his shell. Ender not only beats him, but we find
out he killed him. This is where we see Ender realize what he is capable of. After the fight, we see
Ender go back to his quiet self. Again a blow to the head. Go away Ender thought.I didn t do anything
to you. (Card. 32). Another group of boys start ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

zero respect. Now right as Ender is getting more friends, everyone is giving him so much respect. He

new respect. He feels like there is a wall between him and his friends, because now he has to relate to
them on a whole new level. At first he could talk with them and be a kid around them, and now it is
like people expect him to act and be more mature . Another quote that proves my point is Ender
Wiggin crying? (Card. 151). He can not do things without people finding out, and they put him on

Paper On Rockets History
History of Rockets
A rocket is a cylindrical projectile that can be propelled to a great height or distance by the
combustion of its contents. Robert Hutchings Goddard, was the first to create a liquid fueled rocket in
1926. Robert was about 44 years old when he invented the first liquid fueled rocket. Roberts rocket
reached an altitude of 41 feet at about 60 mph and lasted about 2 seconds. The rocket landed
approximately 184 feet away from the blast off place. The rocket was about 10 feet tall, made out of
thin pipes; it was fueled by liquid oxygen and gasoline. Chinese were the first to create rockets for
military in the 13th Century. They made the rockets out of gunpowder; probably built firework rockets
before the rockets for wars. The ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
There are many different uses for rockets, we use them in our daily lives. Whether it s just for fun, in
our jobs, or fighting for our lives. We use rockets in the military for wars and such. In the military we

enemies down on ground. Satellites have been used for years for various purposes including scientific
research, weather reporting, communications, navigation and even for observing Earth. Engineers
have played a big role in designing these satellites, getting them into orbit, and using the information
they relay back to Earth. Meteorologists are able to predict the changes in weather patterns by using
several different tools. They use these tools to measure atmospheric conditions that occurred in the
past and present, and they apply this information to create educated guesses about the future weather.
Most people are familiar with thermometers, barometers, and anemometers for measuring
temperature, air pressure, and wind speed, respectively. Meteorologists use other tools, as well. With
communication, we can relate back to satellites, satellites get sent up into orbit and programed to
report back to earth all over the place. This includes texting, calling, emailing,

Essay On The Shots Heard Around The World
The Shots Heard Around the World
It was an eventful evening in the fabulous city of Las Vegas, Nevada . The nightlife was blooming, the
people were exploring, and the celebrities were enjoying their freetime in casinos, concerts, or a
boxing match. One of the most famous rappers was attending the match on September 13, 1996. If
you were born before the new century, then you might have heard about what events took place that
night. One this unfaithful night, rapper Tupac Shakur was attending a boxing match with his friend
Suge Knight. They just got done watching Bruce Seldon attempt to take on Iron Mike Tyson, as they
head out of the arena in their BMW, a man approaches the car and guns down Tupac. He was rushed
to a nearby hospital, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
There are many speculations on why the blood turned bad, but the most logical answer is when Tupac
was shot the first time. On November 30, 1994, Tupac and his crew went to to record an album. In the
same building, several floors above where Pac was jumped, robbed, and shot, Biggie Smalls and Puff
Daddy were recording a music video. Tupac and his friend Freddie were about to board onto the
elevator when they were approached by three men. Tupac immediately reached for his gun when the
other men pulled out their weapons. They shot him in the leg, sending Tupac to the ground, where
they snatched his jewelry are shot him a couple more times. Biggie and his crew knew that Tupac was
in the building and didn t bother to even come down and see what happened. Pac, while in the
hospital, is charged with sodomy. Once he recovered, Tupac was sent to prison where he would serve
a short sentence. He was livid at Christopher for never visiting his friend while he was down. Another
slap to the face for Pac was when Bad Boy Records started to make jokes about the rapper and the full
on hatred started once Biggie released the song titles, Who Shot Ya . Tupac got out and immediately
responded with a track titles, Hit Em Up . Now that this rivalry was set up, it was pretty obvious that
these were just gang attacks on each other. This is the most believed theory of them all. It makes the
most sense, but there s still some other

Civil Litigation Process
Civil litigation describes non criminal matters to be handled in the Court. These civil conflicts are
most often brought on from business or personal disputes. There are several phases of the civil
litigation process: pleadings, discovery, trial, and if pursued an appeal.
The civil litigation process begins in the pleadings, when the plaintiff issues their complaint to the
court, explaining how their party was in some manner harmed by actions taken by the defendant.
Another copy is delivered to the defendant, and they are usually given a set amount of time to
respond, referred to as the answer, which is their side of the conflict. The civil litigation then proceeds
to the discovery phase, where both parties are gathering information that is relevant to the case from
each other or outside sources. This information is collected through written questions, document
requests, and depositions. Discovery is the most lengthy phase of civil litigation, contingent on the
specific issues, the bulk of discovery to be administered, and the availability and trial date to be set by
the court. Once at the trial, both parties have opportunities to produce evidence backing their defenses
or claims to a judge or a jury. The plaintiff and defendant may call upon witnesses to be questioned

These alternatives include mediation and arbitration, both involving a neutral third party to assist and
resolve civil disputes. Arbitration and mediation are similar in that they are less formal and more
abridged than a trial. These two methods of conflict resolution differ in that mediator can not demand
the parties to settle their dispute, while the arbitrator decides a winner out of the two parties. In many
cases, parties will agree to binding arbitration where the losing party is forbidden from making an
appeal to the

Fidel Castro s Conspiracy
After Fidel Castro overthrew Cuban strongman Fulgencio Batista, expropriated American economic
assets and developed links with the Soviet Union, President Eisenhower authorized the CIA in March
1960 to develop a plan to overthrow Castro. The agency trained and armed Cuban exiles to carry out
the attack. Shortly after his inauguration, John F. Kennedy learned of the invasion plan, concluded that
Fidel Castro was a Soviet client posing a threat to all of Latin America and, after consultations with
his advisers, gave his consent in February 1961 for the CIA planned amphibious assault.

pH and Buffer Using Red Cabbage Indicator to Measure pH
Introduction This experiment was performed to evaluate the following hypothesis: Red cabbage
indicator can be used as a measure of pH. According to Campbell, et al, in Biology: Concepts and
Connections, red cabbage contains a water soluble pigment called anthocyanin that changes color
when it is mixed with an acid or a base. The pigment turns red in acidic environments with a pH less
than 7 and the pigment turns bluish green in alkaline (basic) environments with a pH greater than 7
(2012). The pH indicating property of red cabbage indicator is well accepted in the scientific
community and is a useful standard for ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Acids were varying shades of red or pink and the bases were varying shades of green. The only
unexpected result was the variability of color change in the pH 12 buffer solution, though this was
attributed to the text, Table 2, stating the pigments are not stable at pH 12 (Pearson, 37). A weakness
of using red cabbage indicator to check the pH of an unknown solution or buffer is the subjectivity of
determining color. What one individual sees as pink. another person would see as light purple. Color
blind individuals would be at a significant disadvantage. Accuracy of pH is another consideration,
since in addition to the variability in shades of color the pH shown by the red cabbage indicator is
more of a ballpark estimate and limited to whole numbers. Using a pH meter, we can get a
significantly more accurate reading that is objective and not dependent on an individual s
interpretation of color or visible hue. In addition to the subjectivity of color, one would need to ensure
a consistent ration of indicator solution to test solution in order to not affect the shade of the color
change. Based on the data received and background information given, it is my opinion that although
red cabbage indicator solution can be used to determine pH levels, it is best used as a more general
indicator of whether a solution is an acid, base or neutral.

The Rise Of The Chinese Economy
Throughout the world, there are many nations and regions that have undergone immense changes to
reach their modern positions in the international economy. One such location is China, which
experienced a major shift from a society revolved around independent sustenance in the agricultural
industry into a society revolved around socialism, direct funding for the Chinese government through
the Chinese people, and the mass production of goods with high demand in the global market by co
operatives. Of course, the changes in the workings of the Chinese economy developed from the
changes in the politics of China. On the 1st of October 1949, The People s Republic of China was
founded in Beijing. The founding of the party both marked the end of what is today considered by
historians the most profound revolutionary upheaval in modern history, in which the Guomindang
Party rose to power in China, issued many different currencies, and was unable to control inflation,
food shortages, and exponentially occurring price fixations; as well as the beginning of the tides of
socialism in China in the 20th century, which caused the contemporary Chinese economic
transformation. The Chinese economic transition from a centrally planned economy and agrarian
society to a market economy and unified, socialist society was ultimately caused by the three Five
Year Plans adopted by the growing Chinese Communist Party, which were stable and beneficial
outlines for the Chinese regime because they developed

The Narrator s Use Of Suspense In The Film Jaws
All is lost shows the persistence of the human spirit, in the ability to continue after adversity. The
opening shot places the protagonist in a life boat, at sea, startled from his reclined position as he line
snags. As he reels in the line the audience feels growing suspense as the protagonist has been stuck at
sea for days and if he has been able to successfully fish for food, we can feel optimistic for his future
at sea. The audience is rudely awakened when the suspense turns into horror, not the expected delight,
as a shark emerges from the water and takes his catch. Through this use of suspense and the building
of tension, the audience feels the protagonist s disappointment along with him. When the protagonist
tries to search for the sharks who stole his catch he cannot see them, no matter how hard he tries. This
can be seen as an allegory to the fact he cannot predict the future events to happen. He is at the whim
of the sea and to nature in general. This is further highlighted by a low angle shot from beneath the life
raft which shows the sharks circling the protagonist. The use of a low angle shot in film gives power
to the figure being shot. In this instance the sharks are in the position of power, as they are the
embodiment of nature in this scene. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

views his surroundings, which emphasises that he is at the will of the ocean and we cannot expect
what is to come next. As he accepts the fact he cannot see below the surface of the water a string

Von Willebrand Disease Research Paper
Von Willebrand disease is a condition that can cause extended or excessive bleeding. This condition is
the most common inherited coagulation disease in domestic animals but in rare cases may develop
later in life. Von Willebrand factor is a large glycoprotein that circulates with factor VIII and is
responsible for the combination of platelets at the beginning of the coagulation cascade. The cause of
von Willebrand disease is a deficiency in or impairment of a protein called von Willebrand factor, an
important component in your blood clotting process.
Etiology: von Willebrand disease is an inherited defect in the gene that controls von Willebrand factor
which is a protein that plays a key role in your blood clotting process. When von Willebrand factor is
scarce or not functioning properly because of structural abnormalities, thrombocytes(platelets) cannot
stick together properly, nor can they attach themselves normally to the blood vessel walls when an

Obamacare Executive Summary
Obamacare serves the purpose of expanding health insurance access, protect patients against arbitrary
actions by insurance companies, and reduce overall costs. As discussed in the above section, evidence
shows that there are many issues in the current healthcare system that warrants a change. These
changes will more or less take years to establish in full swing but it is important to start supporting this
change now. These changes will pursue an overall improvement of the current healthcare system to the
possibility of a sustainable system while ensuring a healthier nation. Increasing access to health care
ensures everyone to seek medical care without the fear of getting a large medical bill. Currently, there
are millions of Americans without health insurance. The ACA implements changes in the system that
decreases the burden on low income families by expanding the Medicaid program. This is done by
expanding coverage to a variety of population, even individuals with chronic and pre existing

Essay On Intellect In Romeo And Juliet
Should your decision be based upon intellect or emotion? This can sometimes be a tough decision for
some people because they want to do what their heart says, but they know it s not the right choice. In
Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare, Romeo makes decisions based upon his emotion, the fact
that he loves Juliet. This ends badly for him because he ends up killing himself as he thinks there is
nothing left to live for, because Juliet is presumed dead. While making a decision using your heart
instead of thinking about what the best option is for you feels right, human choice should be driven by
intellect because a human can be reasonable and decide if the choice they are making is right or
wrong, and by using emotion, they can lose track of reality and the can get blindsided by love or even
anything, and make the wrong choice.

If a choice was driven by emotion, people would get so upset over something that they wouldn t be
able to see all the great things that were right in front of them. Instead of doing this, by thinking
intellectually, you can sit down and compose your thoughts and ideas before jumping to conclusions.
For example, in Lord of the Flies, by William Golding, Piggy starts getting emotional, and starts to
believe they ll stay on the island the rest of their lives. His lips quivered and the spectacles were
dimmed with mist. We may stay here till we die. (Golding, 14) This probably affected his whole
experience on the island. If all the boys had been more positive, maybe none of them would be killed
or they wouldn t have split up into groups. You see, they were so distracted by the fantasy of the beast,
He says he saw the beastie. (Golding, 36) that they didn t realize where they were and how they could

A Literature review was conducted to determine how alienating Walgreens from the ESI network has

Key Statement: Excluding Walgreens from a pharmacy network will result in little to no savings for
most sponsors and patients, and in some cases will raise costs, while causing significant patient
disruption and risking gaps in care, and increasing administrative costs on plan sponsors.
As part of this document, they are encouraging payers to consider directly contracting with them

people have tried to prove them right and prove them wrong. in, https://pseudoastro.wordpress.com,

The conspiracy theory that a man did not land on the moon is well known because of no stars in the

The first fact to go against the moon landing theory is when Stuart Robbins states, If you have

Have you ever scanned or photocopied something? If so, you know that any little piece of dirt, hair,
dust, or whatever that gets between your original and your imaging device will show up in the copy.
That is what happened in the case of the infamous C rock a hair (such as an eyelash) or a small piece
of lint got caught between the image and the imager when they were making copies of it. Plain and
simple. In the original photograph (close up shown below), there is no C. This confirms that it was just
some hair or fine particle that came between the camera and the rock. The second piece of evidence
that rebuttals against the moon landing conspiracy theory is when Scott Davis states, But in fact, the
label simply isn t there. The image of the rock is taken from a much larger shot of the Moon s surface,
and if you look at the original image (shown below left), the marking isn t there. Either a small hair or

Executive Summary
Mixed Martial arts, The UFC s official sport is one of the most exciting and fastest growing sports in
the world. The sport is best described as combat sports were two individuals are matched inside a
cage, octagon or ring for a period of three to five, five minute rounds. The match is won by knocking
out your opponent, submitting them or winning by a decision, judged by three ringside judges. Mixed
Martial arts has changed throughout the years as new rules and weight classes have been progressively
introduced throughout the years in order to streamline and downplay its image.
Nonetheless Mixed Martial Arts from its on set in the late 1980 s has been marred with controversy
often described as a barbaric sport with little to no rules. Several critics lobbied at its early existence to
try and ban the sport from entering the mainstream. In the late 1990 s, Senator John McCain, one of

After reading the Preface to the Third Edition of The Norton Anthology of African American

thing that surprised me the most must have been the amount of pressure that the eleven scholars were
under when they were trying to produce this anthology. For example, in the beginning of Preface to

Reassess The Food Service System Essay
The aim of this proposal is to reassess the food service process in provided within a hospital. It is
essential that the hospital s food service system requirements for all the nutrients and calories needed
to restore and maintain the health of all patients. Implementing these changes will require a health care
leader who will articulate well defined, clear objectives and measures and will incorporate a timeline
and standards for the revised food service system (Dye, 2010). Food service in hospitals is changing
by moving away from the traditional tray line system, in which trays move along an assembly line, to
room service, thus allowing in patients to choose nutritious meals. The health care industry is ever
more competitive, and hospitals are now recognizing patients as customers, and seeking ways to
influence patients satisfaction scores during a hospital stay (K. Kim, M. Kim Lee 2010). In this
proposal, the objectives of the value stream mapping in figure 1 are to strategically identify and
remove waste, cut costs, reduce labor, and increase patient satisfaction scores, while providing
nutritious meals. A Rapid Process Improvement Workshop (RPIW) will include staff from the call
center, cooks, food prepares, dietitians, food delivery personnel, nursing managers, staff from finance,

King Judalism Research Paper
The king held the highest position on the social hierarchy, as well as supplied the land to the vassals.
The king gave his land in return for services from the vassals. All of the land was originally acquired
by the king, second only to God himself (Norman 103). Himself alone could not maintain the entirety
of his land, so as a result, he divided parts of this land and gave portions away to protect it from
invaders and harm (Jovinelly 6). The kings and other lords had several responsibilities, including
advising when to go to war, supervising the peasant work, punishing minor crimes, settling disputes
and collecting taxes (Cels 18). Some other duties of the lord included protecting the vassal in the court
of law, even when it came to royal courts (Norman 103). The kings and lords also protected the serfs

The vassal received several gifts, including land, for their services. The name of this land was a fief
(Biel 9). A higher noble granted them temporary use of the land until their death, called the precarium
(Jovinelly 6). They were given a lump of earth to symbolize the fief they would soon receive from the
lord (King 28). The lord gave the vassal this land, so in exchange, he would receive their service
(King 26). The vassal also promised a lot to the lord who granted him the land. To start off, the vassal
pledged his military allegiance to the lord, promising to serve when needed (Koshal). Additionally, he
helped pay the ransom of the lord, gave lodging, and served in the court when necessary (King 28).
Everyone with an exception of the king and peasants were vassals, because everyone was given land
from a higher figure in society. Therefore, nearly everyone had to perform these tasks (Jovinelly 7).
All things considered, the vassal was an important fundamental figure who received land in the system

What We Are Advertisers By James Twitchell
Advertising has come a long way in terms of advancement with the enlightenment of the new
technological age we live in now. In James Twitchell s essay What We Are to Advertisers, the author
explains that mass production means mass marketing, and mass marketing means the creation of mass
stereotypes. Generally, the use of stereotypical profiling in our society not only exists in regards to
race, social class, personality type, and gender but also holds a special meaning in advertising circles
as well. To advertisers, stereotyping has become an effective means to pitch their products according
to the personality profiles they have concocted for us and are most times eerily accurate. For instance,

The Believers are people who support traditional codes of family, church, and community, wearing
good Republican cloth coats. These are predictable people who wear and recognize brand names. The
Achievers are not only successful, but they demonstrate their success by buying objects such as
prestige cars to show it. The Strivers are usually a little unsure of themselves. They are willing to buy
brands as long as it is a prestigious name brand. According to Twitchell, Money defines their success
but they don t have enough of it (Twitchell). The Experiencers live life on the edge. They are
enthusiastic, impulsive, and even a little reckless sometimes. The Makers are practical people. They
are conservative, suspicious, and respectful. The Strugglers are usually chronically poor people who
enjoy materialism whenever they can afford it. It s amazing yet spooky how the advertising industry
can categorize us into these stereotypical profiles so accurately just by watching our behaviors,
observing our lifestyles, ascertaining our disposable income, and studying our set of values. Is our
buying pattern really connected to the things we believe in and what we do for a living? Whether we
are consciously aware of it or not, it is personally amazing just how much a simple purchase can
reveal about am individual to marketing research strategists. Little known to the public is just how far

Because Arab states, including Iraq, had in the past laid claim to Khuzestan as part of the Arab
homeland, the government was bound to regard an indigenous movement among the Arabic speaking
population with suspicion. The government also suspected that scattered instances of sabotage in the
oil fields were occurring with Iraqi connivance. In May 1979, government forces responded to these
disturbances by firing on Arab demonstrators in Khorramshahr.
Several demonstrators were killed; others were shot on orders of the local revolutionary court. The
government subsequently quietly transferred the religious leader of the Khuzestan Arabs, Ayatollah
Mohammad Taher Shubayr al Khaqani, to Qom, where he was kept under house arrest. These
measures ended further protests.
The Kurdish uprising proved more deep rooted, serious, and durable. The Kurdish leaders were

Finally, I will draw the main conclusions from this project.
Simpson s rule
A way that we can see the trapezoidal (or midpoint) rule is that we approximate a function using a first
degree polynomial. Following this line of thinking we can say that by using Simpson s rule we
approximate a function using a second degree polynomial. In the graph here above f(x) represents the
function that we are trying to approximate
P(x) is the second degree polynomial that we use to approximate the function
The Simpson s rule can be derived in various ways described in the two following subsections.
First proof of Simpson s rule
(based on the proof in the book Calculus, Larson Hostetler Edwards s fifth edition)
∫_a^b▒█(f(x)dx=@ ) ∫_a^b▒〖(A〗 x^2+Bx+C)dx
Integral is taken
∫_a^b▒█(f(x)dx=@ ) [(Ax^3)/3+(Bx^2)/2+C] x = b a
∫_a^b▒█(f(x)dx=[(A(b^3 a^3))/3+(B〖(b〗^2 a^2))/2+C(b a)]@ )
By inverse distribution
∫_a^b▒f(x)dx=((b a)/6)[2A(a^2+ab+b^2 )+3B(b+a)+6C]
∫_a^b▒f(x)dx=((b a)/6)[(Aa^2+Ba+C)+4[A((b+a)/2)^2+B((b+a)/2)+C]+ (Ab^2+Bb+C)]
∫_a^b▒f(x)dx=((b a)/6)[f(a)+4f((b+a)/2)+f(b)]
To use Simpson s rule you divide the interval into n equal subintervals each of width ∆x=(b a)/n. N is
required to be even because for Simpson s rule we use coordinates to draw a polynomial of the least
degree to pass through. For a polynomial to be determined we need three coordinates, we reuse the
last coordinate of the previous polynomial to create our next one.

Heroes As A Hero, And The Tragic Hero In Literature
Heroes still exist
Throughout history, stories have been passed down from generation to generation of heroes that
display incredible inspiring characteristics. From Greek mythology of Hercules, to bedtime stories of
princes slaying dragons, the concept of heroes has captivated society. Heroes are shown to go on a
journey and to be altruistic, courageous, tenacious and have integrity. Although the category of heroes
is wide, three main ones exist that are portrayed in literature; archetypal heroes, anti heroes and tragic
heroes. Archetypal heroes are the typical heroes represented in texts; they go through a typical hero
journey and are able to show bravery in the face of hardship. An anti hero is a main character in a text
that has noticeable flaws yet possesses heroic qualities. Lastly, a tragic hero typically starts off as an
archetypal hero yet has one major flaw that leads to the demise. Heroes within literature still exist and
have laid the bench mark for humanity. Humanity is positioned to be inspired by heroes as we are
always striving to achieve better and by having archetypal heroes, human have something to aim for.
Archetypal heroes are the stock standard hero that face adversity with daring and courageous heroism.
They stand up for what it right by protecting and defending innocents from the injustice and

Ø Various philosophers through the centuries have had a tremendous impact on the way
modern society thinks.
Ø Friedrich Nietzsche (1844 1900) influenced modern thinking with his God is dead philosophy.
This meant that there was no longer any room for God in an enlightened and civilized society.
Ø John Stuart Mill (1806 1873) helped popularize the philosophy of utilitarianism. The basic idea is
that morality is determined based upon what is the greatest good for the greatest number of people.

Market giants and most of the others medium size companies have introduced the IoT .
Internet of things is basically composed of two terms Network and Things (any object like devices,
machines, computers), so basically it s a concept where all objects are provided with unique identifiers
(e.g. NFC, RFID) and are capable of transferring data over the network mostly without human
interaction. It s mostly d2d (device to device) or m2m (machine to machine) interaction e.g. RFID

advantages of IPv6 is that it provides uses a 128 bit address, allowing 2128, or approx. 3.4×1038

saves time.

Being an indie video game developer is tough work as there s a lot that goes into the development of a
video game. Unlike bigger AAA studios, indie developers only have themselves or a small team to
accomplish this great amount of work and with that, comes a large amount of time having to be
invested into the games creation but how does an indie developer know or gain enough knowledge to
form a prediction of whether that game in development will be a success or not? The answer is simply
data. Just like larger studios, indie studios or developers can use data to collect valuable feedback from

Life In Concentration Camps In Night By Irene Wiesel And...
Life in Concentration Camps
The rise of Anti Semitism was affecting the Jews all over Europe. Jewish towns and neighbourhoods
were confined to ghettos starting in 1939. After living in ghettos for approximately 2 years and under
unbearable conditions, German soldiers rounded up Jews and began to place them on trains. The
experiences of Elie Wiesel and Irene Fogel Weiss are just two of the millions of stories that exist.
Their experiences in the concentration camps have many similarities as well as many differences and
not only has the Holocaust left physical scars but psychological scars too, which Viktor Frankel has
written a book about, being a psychologist and a Holocaust survivor.
When looking at the experience of Elie Wiesel, a Jew born in Transylvania, and Irene Fogel Weiss, a
Jew born in Czechoslovakia, the two stories have many similarities and differences. The book Night,
written by Elie Wiesel illustrates his experience in the Holocaust, including his first experience of
family separation and being in a concentration camp. An article written about the life of Irene Fogel
Weiss gives a clear image of her life during the Holocaust, dealing with family separation as well as
the struggle to stay healthy enough to survive. Arbeit Macht Frei was a sign outside of Auschwitz, a

Minimum Fuel Drop Rule
It s without a doubt that the feature race at the Clipsal 500 Adelaide was one of the craziest V8
Supercars races to date, however I seem to be one of the few labelling it Crazy rather than a Joke . So
I shall explain why it is not a complete joke.
While their was a lot of confusion over the race start, I will focus on the fuel drop rule instead.
The Facts: During certain races there is a required amount of fuel that must be put into the car during
the race, this is often referred to the as the minimum fuel drop . The rule came about as a way to
combat the engine disparity that was found amongst manufacturers early on in the Car Of The Future
project. For last Sunday s Clipsal 500 feature race that minimum fuel drop was 140 litres. This ...

We kept sacrificing our track position (which was actually very good) to put fuel in knowing the race
was time certain. We could have run in the top 5 all day but that wouldn t have helped the end result.
JP: Do you think the fuel drop rule should change? If so why?
NP: No I don t think so. The rule is there to give all engine manufactures a even playing field.
JP: Do you think the rule should be scaled so the required fuel drop is in proportion to the actual race
distance?
NP: It should be scaled but at the Clipsal 500 all the teams knew the rule, so if they all took the
approach of getting the fuel in, many of them wouldn t have been penalised.
JP: What did you think when you emerged as the leader in the final phase of the race?
NP: I knew I was leading as we sat in pit lane for the break due to the Lightning, I knew I had a fast
car and just needed to keep it clean. The final lap was amazing. I was taking it all in and enjoying the
battle with Fabian. I wasn t sure if he was right on fuel, I was told he was so I was racing him hard to
make sure I crossed the line first. No way was I winning the race finishing second on

Imagery And Second Person Imagery
People have various reasons and emotions that prompt them to carry out an event in a certain way.
First Person Imagery and Third Person Imagery are the two ways that determine how a person will
act. The idea of the use of various imagery perspectives can affect memory and emotions can cause a
person to react. Third person imagery tends to understand behavior as a function of the actor s
disposition, whereas actors tend to understand their behavior as a function of the situation (Libby et
al., 2007). This imagery perspective allows a person to understand the purpose, reasoning, and the
effects of making a decision. For example, a person is using third person imagery when making an
important decision, such as voting or picking a career. Social judgement and character are the factors
that help people decide whether their decision will be one way or another. First person imagery
perspective allows people to carry out an action or event without much influence on emotions and
social judgement. This perspective offers the chance for people to analyze and use their emotions can
occur when making a decision (Holmes et al., 2008). The emotions that initially in making a decision
comes out first, not the influences of other plus your emotions. For instance, a person has their
feelings towards war, the environment, and politics. In first person perspective, people have the
chance to only express their emotion towards various situations. Using third

Cardiovascular System Essays
The cardiovascular system, which consists of the heart and blood vessels, is the circulatory systems in
our body. The major function of the system is transportation; the heart is the system pump and the
blood vessels are the delivery routes. The heart transport respiratory gases, nutrients, wastes, and other
substances vital to the body s homeostasis to and from the cells by using the blood as a medium.
The heart is a cone shaped organ approximately the size of a fist with an apex and a base. It is located
within the mediastinum or medial cavity of the thorax. The heart is enclosed within a double walled
pericardium, a fibroserous sac. The pericardium has a superficial fibrous pericardium and deep two
layer serous pericardium. The ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Left ventricle pumps the blood into the aorta, where the blood is supplied to the body tissues by the
systemic arteries.
Heart valves ensure one way blood flow through heart. The atrioventricular (AV) valves lie between
the atria and the ventricles prevents the back flow of blood in to the atria while the ventricles contract.
Chordae tendinae anchor AV values to papillary muscles. The left AV valve, the mitral or bicuspid
valve consists of two cusps of endocardium. The right atrioventricular valve, the tricuspid valve, has
three cusps. The second sets of valve are the semilunar valves. The pulmonary semilunar valves lie
between the right ventricle and pulmonary trunk. Aortic semilunar valves lie between ventricle and the
aorta. Semilunar valves prevent the backflow of blood into the ventricle.
The hearts function as a double pump that serves two circulations. The pulmonary pump in the right
side of heart is provided for the gas exchange in the body, and the systemic circulation in the left side
provides the functional blood supply to all body tissues. The functional blood to the heart is provided
by the coronary arteries. Right coronary artery supplies the heart through the posterior interventricular
and marginal artery branches; and the left coronary artery supplies the heart via anterior
interventricular artery and the circumflex artery. The myocardium is drained by great, small, and
middle cardiac veins which

Compare And Contrast The North And South Civil War
Neither North or South was ready to go into a major war. With the North having a US Army and a US
Navy it made the North have a better advantage. Another reason that they North was at a better
advantage was because of the agricultural and industrial backing. The Southern landscape was a big
part when it came to the civil war. The South did not have any resources making it hard for both
citizens and soldiers to live. A lot of things led up to the defeat of the South and victory of the North.
The North had a Us Army that was 16,000 strong and was mostly stationed in the West, as well as the
US Navy which was small but still noticeable. While the South did not have a national army or navy.
Instead they had small state armies like the army

Trade Balance in Foreign Countries
Trade balance: Trade surplus is the difference between exports and imports. Positive balance occurs
when exports exceed imports, and the deficit of it occurs when imports exceed exports (the minus sign
is used to show that). In April February 2013/14 FY. , India s trade with foreign countries has
increased in comparison with the same period in 2011/12 FY. by 1.9 % and amounted to 714.1 billion
U.S. dollars, while exports declined by 4.0 % (to 266.0 billion U.S. dollars), in the same time imports
increased by 0.3 % ( up to 448 , U.S. $ 1 billion ). In general, over the last five years of India s foreign
trade has increased almost twice. Reduce of exports of the country to the 2012/13 FY. was associated
with the second wave of the financial crisis in the Eurozone and the unfavourable world market
conditions on its core products . In April February of 2013/14 FY. India s trade deficit increased by 9.2
% and reached a record it s peak of 182.1 billion dollars. Over the past 12 months the deficit of
balance of payments reached it s peak. This caused a collapse of the Indian rupee in the summer of
2013. Government intervention: A wide range of measures is in place to stabilize economy and reduce
the gap between rich and poor. These measures are: Fiscal measures: To reduce the fiscal and revenue
deficit the government of India has a strong control over its own expenditure. In 1984, the government
announced a package program to curtail public expenditure and to

The Mediating Roles Of Psychological Contract Fulfillment
Hypothesis For this study the authors gave five hypotheses. These hypotheses were related to the
mediating roles of psychological contract fulfillment, need for change and trust. Trust being the only
one included in three of the hypotheses. For hypothesis 1 the authors hypothesized that psychological
contract fulfillment moderates the relationship of attitude toward change and change information,
therefore change information is positively correlated to psychological contract fulfillment.
Furthermore psychological contract fulfillment would be positively correlated to behavioral, affective,
and cognitive dimensions of attitude toward change. For hypothesis 2 it was hypothesized by the
authors that perceived need for change influences the relationship between change information and
attitude toward change showing that change information and perceived need for change are positively
correlated. Also that perceived need for change is positively correlated to the behavioral, affective, and
cognitive dimension of attitude toward change. For hypothesis 3a, it was hypothesized that trust
moderates the relationship between attitude toward change and change information, therefore there s a
positive correlation between trust and change information, and trust and the affective, behavioral, and
cognitive dimension of attitude toward change. Furthermore, for hypothesis 3b, the authors
hypothesized that trust affected psychological contract fulfillment in a positive way. Lastly, for

  • 2. Teen Pregnancy Problem Solution Essay Myles H orry Ms. Milliner EES21QH 04 May 30th, 2017 Problem Solution Essay Teen pregnancy in the United States: In 2015, a total of 229,715 babies were born to women aged 15 19 years old, for a birth rate of 22.3 per 1,000 women in this age group. This is another record for U.S. teens and a drop of 8% from 2014. Although reasons for the declines are not totally clear, evidence suggests these declines are due to more teens abstaining from sexual activity, and more teens who are sexually active using birth control than in previous years. Still, the U.S. teen pregnancy rate is substantially higher than in other western industrialized nations, and racial/ethnic and geographic disparities in teen birth rates persist (cdc.gov). As teenagers (in the United States), we are peer pressured or tempted to try new things. Some teens tend to try out drugs, and alcohol. However, some are having unprotected sex in which, is leads to having babies. This is called, teenage pregnancy. This has caused the United States to create records based off of the statistics and facts given from, researchers across the United States. In order to help prevent teenage pregnancy in the United States, teenagers must understand why, having a baby now isn t such a smart move on their part. Growing up as a teenager (between the ages of 13 19), you are exposed to many forms of peer pressure. Some of these forms causes us to think is this really worth trying/doing? , or will my popularity ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

So, organizations born or creation are considered the result of genetic algorithms, transformations are identified with changes that aim the adapting to the environment, and finally the death treats the state of crisis and bankruptcy. Imperative Transformations / changes define the longest organizational life period and are required to adapt to continuous environmental change. This process is triggered immediately after the occurrence and action of natural selection open or block the organization s evolutionary path. 2.2. Typology Having organizational artificial creation, in our concept as a rational biologic model, provides step by step changes, linear and un exponential. Investigations of the specific literature have identified three types of transformations, namely: i) the radical, step by step change; ii) exponential, step by step change; iii) evolutionary, step by step change (increasing) ; The first category includes the school created by Hammer and Champy, with extensions in the second group, outlined by the six sigma method. The third group triggered by K. Lewin, we support and serve as a model, especially for organizations without excellence , as most of those in the Romanian economy. Evolution, without being Darwin s theory followers and not opposing creationism, is, in our opinion, in line with a α coefficient more or less, in relation to environmental conditions. For organizations characterized by excellence, we accept locally reengineering, but as an exception. Figure 2. Organizational ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

He starts to become a stronger more mature boy and soon enough realizes all the power he posses. He has an older brother named Peter, and an older sister named Valentine. He at first is this little, weak kid, and in five years goes from that to a mature leader of an army. We see him progress to the top of what he becomes, but it does not happen easily. He has to make many hard decisions that could go any which way. Hey third, we re talkin to you, Third, hey bugger lover, we re talkin to you. (Card. 6). In the beginning Stilson (a bully) comes up to Ender with a group of guys. They surround him and start to bully him. At first Ender takes it, then Stilson swings at him, and we see Ender break out of his shell. Ender not only beats him, but we find out he killed him. Satellites have been used for years for various purposes including scientific research, weather reporting, communications, navigation and even for observing Earth. Engineers have played a big role in designing these satellites, getting them into orbit, and using the information they relay back to Earth. Meteorologists are able to predict the changes in weather patterns by using several different tools. They use these tools to measure atmospheric conditions that occurred in the past and present, and they apply this information to create educated guesses about the future weather. Most people are familiar with thermometers, barometers, and anemometers for measuring temperature, air pressure, and wind speed, respectively. Meteorologists use other tools, as well. • 8. Civil Litigation Process Civil litigation describes non criminal matters to be handled in the Court. These civil conflicts are most often brought on from business or personal disputes. There are several phases of the civil litigation process: pleadings, discovery, trial, and if pursued an appeal. The civil litigation process begins in the pleadings, when the plaintiff issues their complaint to the court, explaining how their party was in some manner harmed by actions taken by the defendant. Another copy is delivered to the defendant, and they are usually given a set amount of time to respond, referred to as the answer, which is their side of the conflict. The civil litigation then proceeds to the discovery phase, where both parties are gathering information that is relevant to the case from each other or outside sources. This information is collected through written questions, document requests, and depositions. Discovery is the most lengthy phase of civil litigation, contingent on the specific issues, the bulk of discovery to be administered, and the availability and trial date to be set by the court. • 11. Ph Buffer Using Cabbage Indicator Lynne Andrew NB 1110 / M 5 7:50 Lab 1 February 2, 2015 pH and Buffer Using Red Cabbage Indicator to Measure pH Introduction This experiment was performed to evaluate the following hypothesis: Red cabbage indicator can be used as a measure of pH. According to Campbell, et al, in Biology: Concepts and Connections, red cabbage contains a water soluble pigment called anthocyanin that changes color when it is mixed with an acid or a base. The pigment turns red in acidic environments with a pH less than 7 and the pigment turns bluish green in alkaline (basic) environments with a pH greater than 7 (2012). The pH indicating property of red cabbage indicator is well accepted in the scientific community and is a useful standard for ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Acids were varying shades of red or pink and the bases were varying shades of green. The only unexpected result was the variability of color change in the pH 12 buffer solution, though this was attributed to the text, Table 2, stating the pigments are not stable at pH 12 (Pearson, 37). A weakness of using red cabbage indicator to check the pH of an unknown solution or buffer is the subjectivity of determining color. What one individual sees as pink. another person would see as light purple. Color blind individuals would be at a significant disadvantage. Accuracy of pH is another consideration, since in addition to the variability in shades of color the pH shown by the red cabbage indicator is more of a ballpark estimate and limited to whole numbers. Using a pH meter, we can get a significantly more accurate reading that is objective and not dependent on an individual s interpretation of color or visible hue. In addition to the subjectivity of color, one would need to ensure a consistent ration of indicator solution to test solution in order to not affect the shade of the color change. Based on the data received and background information given, it is my opinion that although red cabbage indicator solution can be used to determine pH levels, it is best used as a more general indicator of whether a solution is an acid, base or neutral. ... One such location is China, which experienced a major shift from a society revolved around independent sustenance in the agricultural industry into a society revolved around socialism, direct funding for the Chinese government through the Chinese people, and the mass production of goods with high demand in the global market by co operatives. Of course, the changes in the workings of the Chinese economy developed from the changes in the politics of China. On the 1st of October 1949, The People s Republic of China was founded in Beijing. The founding of the party both marked the end of what is today considered by historians the most profound revolutionary upheaval in modern history, in which the Guomindang Party rose to power in China, issued many different currencies, and was unable to control inflation, food shortages, and exponentially occurring price fixations; as well as the beginning of the tides of socialism in China in the 20th century, which caused the contemporary Chinese economic transformation. • 15. The Narrator s Use Of Suspense In The Film Jaws All is lost shows the persistence of the human spirit, in the ability to continue after adversity. The opening shot places the protagonist in a life boat, at sea, startled from his reclined position as he line snags. As he reels in the line the audience feels growing suspense as the protagonist has been stuck at sea for days and if he has been able to successfully fish for food, we can feel optimistic for his future at sea. The audience is rudely awakened when the suspense turns into horror, not the expected delight, as a shark emerges from the water and takes his catch. Through this use of suspense and the building of tension, the audience feels the protagonist s disappointment along with him. When the protagonist tries to search for the sharks who stole his catch he cannot see them, no matter how hard he tries. This can be seen as an allegory to the fact he cannot predict the future events to happen. He is at the whim of the sea and to nature in general. This is further highlighted by a low angle shot from beneath the life raft which shows the sharks circling the protagonist. The use of a low angle shot in film gives power to the figure being shot. This can sometimes be a tough decision for some people because they want to do what their heart says, but they know it s not the right choice. In Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare, Romeo makes decisions based upon his emotion, the fact that he loves Juliet. This ends badly for him because he ends up killing himself as he thinks there is nothing left to live for, because Juliet is presumed dead. While making a decision using your heart instead of thinking about what the best option is for you feels right, human choice should be driven by intellect because a human can be reasonable and decide if the choice they are making is right or wrong, and by using emotion, they can lose track of reality and the can get blindsided by love or even anything, and make the wrong choice. We could have run in the top 5 all day but that wouldn t have helped the end result. JP: Do you think the fuel drop rule should change? If so why? NP: No I don t think so. The rule is there to give all engine manufactures a even playing field. JP: Do you think the rule should be scaled so the required fuel drop is in proportion to the actual race distance? NP: It should be scaled but at the Clipsal 500 all the teams knew the rule, so if they all took the approach of getting the fuel in, many of them wouldn t have been penalised. JP: What did you think when you emerged as the leader in the final phase of the race? NP: I knew I was leading as we sat in pit lane for the break due to the Lightning, I knew I had a fast car and just needed to keep it clean. The final lap was amazing. I was taking it all in and enjoying the battle with Fabian. I wasn t sure if he was right on fuel, I was told he was so I was racing him hard to make sure I crossed the line first. No way was I winning the race finishing second on ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 43. Imagery And Second Person Imagery People have various reasons and emotions that prompt them to carry out an event in a certain way. First Person Imagery and Third Person Imagery are the two ways that determine how a person will act. The idea of the use of various imagery perspectives can affect memory and emotions can cause a person to react. Third person imagery tends to understand behavior as a function of the actor s disposition, whereas actors tend to understand their behavior as a function of the situation (Libby et al., 2007). This imagery perspective allows a person to understand the purpose, reasoning, and the effects of making a decision. For example, a person is using third person imagery when making an important decision, such as voting or picking a career. Social judgement and character are the factors that help people decide whether their decision will be one way or another. First person imagery perspective allows people to carry out an action or event without much influence on emotions and social judgement. This perspective offers the chance for people to analyze and use their emotions can occur when making a decision (Holmes et al., 2008). The emotions that initially in making a decision comes out first, not the influences of other plus your emotions. For instance, a person has their feelings towards war, the environment, and politics. In first person perspective, people have the chance to only express their emotion towards various situations. Using third ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 44. Cardiovascular System Essays The cardiovascular system, which consists of the heart and blood vessels, is the circulatory systems in our body. The major function of the system is transportation; the heart is the system pump and the blood vessels are the delivery routes. The heart transport respiratory gases, nutrients, wastes, and other substances vital to the body s homeostasis to and from the cells by using the blood as a medium. The heart is a cone shaped organ approximately the size of a fist with an apex and a base. It is located within the mediastinum or medial cavity of the thorax. The heart is enclosed within a double walled pericardium, a fibroserous sac. The pericardium has a superficial fibrous pericardium and deep two layer serous pericardium. The ... Heart valves ensure one way blood flow through heart. The atrioventricular (AV) valves lie between the atria and the ventricles prevents the back flow of blood in to the atria while the ventricles contract. Chordae tendinae anchor AV values to papillary muscles. The left AV valve, the mitral or bicuspid valve consists of two cusps of endocardium. The right atrioventricular valve, the tricuspid valve, has three cusps. The second sets of valve are the semilunar valves. The pulmonary semilunar valves lie between the right ventricle and pulmonary trunk. Aortic semilunar valves lie between ventricle and the aorta. Semilunar valves prevent the backflow of blood into the ventricle. The hearts function as a double pump that serves two circulations. The pulmonary pump in the right side of heart is provided for the gas exchange in the body, and the systemic circulation in the left side provides the functional blood supply to all body tissues. The functional blood to the heart is provided by the coronary arteries. Right coronary artery supplies the heart through the posterior interventricular and marginal artery branches; and the left coronary artery supplies the heart via anterior interventricular artery and the circumflex artery. The myocardium is drained by great, small, and middle cardiac veins which ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 45. Compare And Contrast The North And South Civil War Neither North or South was ready to go into a major war. With the North having a US Army and a US Navy it made the North have a better advantage. Another reason that they North was at a better advantage was because of the agricultural and industrial backing. The Southern landscape was a big part when it came to the civil war. The South did not have any resources making it hard for both citizens and soldiers to live. A lot of things led up to the defeat of the South and victory of the North. The North had a Us Army that was 16,000 strong and was mostly stationed in the West, as well as the US Navy which was small but still noticeable. While the South did not have a national army or navy. Instead they had small state armies like the army ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 46. Trade Balance in Foreign Countries Trade balance: Trade surplus is the difference between exports and imports. Positive balance occurs when exports exceed imports, and the deficit of it occurs when imports exceed exports (the minus sign is used to show that). In April February 2013/14 FY. , India s trade with foreign countries has increased in comparison with the same period in 2011/12 FY. by 1.9 % and amounted to 714.1 billion U.S. dollars, while exports declined by 4.0 % (to 266.0 billion U.S. dollars), in the same time imports increased by 0.3 % ( up to 448 , U.S. $ 1 billion ). In general, over the last five years of India s foreign trade has increased almost twice. Reduce of exports of the country to the 2012/13 FY. was associated with the second wave of the financial crisis in the Eurozone and the unfavourable world market conditions on its core products . In April February of 2013/14 FY. India s trade deficit increased by 9.2 % and reached a record it s peak of 182.1 billion dollars. Over the past 12 months the deficit of balance of payments reached it s peak. This caused a collapse of the Indian rupee in the summer of 2013. • 47. The Mediating Roles Of Psychological Contract Fulfillment Hypothesis For this study the authors gave five hypotheses. These hypotheses were related to the mediating roles of psychological contract fulfillment, need for change and trust. Trust being the only one included in three of the hypotheses. For hypothesis 1 the authors hypothesized that psychological contract fulfillment moderates the relationship of attitude toward change and change information, therefore change information is positively correlated to psychological contract fulfillment. Furthermore psychological contract fulfillment would be positively correlated to behavioral, affective, and cognitive dimensions of attitude toward change. For hypothesis 2 it was hypothesized by the authors that perceived need for change influences the relationship between change information and attitude toward change showing that change information and perceived need for change are positively correlated. Also that perceived need for change is positively correlated to the behavioral, affective, and cognitive dimension of attitude toward change. For hypothesis 3a, it was hypothesized that trust moderates the relationship between attitude toward change and change information, therefore there s a positive correlation between trust and change information, and trust and the affective, behavioral, and cognitive dimension of attitude toward change. Furthermore, for hypothesis 3b, the authors hypothesized that trust affected psychological contract fulfillment in a positive way. Lastly, for ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
