Insane-Personal Narrative
I curse the amount of street lights there are and go around to the side of the house, careful to duck into
the shadows. The sound of a noisy dog barking next door has my pulse racing and my eyes cataloging
everything around me. Just so you know, regardless of how it may seem at the moment, I am not a bad
person. Just desperate, and well aware that desperation may get me locked up, or worse killed. If I
have to analyze my motives, what moved me from point A to point B, I would say it was the smirk on
Jesse s face. The one he had on his face when he admitted to repeatedly hooking up with his ex
girlfriend behind my unsuspecting back. And while he was coming clean, the whole while he was
cheesing like a guy who d smoked way too much weed, well aware he had stolen ... Show more

If the car turns around and drives back by, I m out of here. My pulse beats wildly at the base of my
throat. Images of what could happen flash through my mind. My reasoning is flawed. This is insane. I
am officially nuts. Crappy guys I blame every single one of you for pushing me over the edge. I see
Jesse tossing back his head and laughing that stupid arrogant laugh of his: you don t have it in you,
Juliet Hobbs. You are a still just a sheltered little scared girl with no guts. Easy to take from. Just look
at how I treated you, and you worshiped the ground I walked on. A joke. You are a big, FAT joke. No
sounds come from inside the home. Just the twinkling of the stars overhead, and my breaking into
someone s home. Perfect. Nothing unusual here. It s eight p.m. on a Friday night, and the entire house
is pitch black. Hopefully, that means the bastard isn t home. Nobody goes to bed at eight, right? He
has to be out, probably cracking up over the girl dumb enough to lose her family s heirloom. I heave
the window the rest of the way up cringing at its squeal. I go completely still, gulping down breaths to
stay quiet. My heart nearly

The Roots Of Lean Manufacturing
Production managers are faced with many challenges within their facilities such as managing
inventories, controlling waste, and managing an ever changing production schedule. Managing
product flows can be difficult when balancing supply chain inventories with demand changes or
scheduling problems due to throughput variations. Several methods for managing these challenges
have been developed through the years and each have their own advantages and disadvantages for
different applications. The methods discussed in this paper will be limited to the Theory of
Constraints, Just in Time, and Material Requirements Planning. All three methods are designed to
manage different aspects of a manufacturing facility s product flow but all three were ultimately
developed as an optimization strategy for the manufacturing process. The roots of Lean Manufacturing
is one of the earliest management strategies to be developed to address the challenges for production
control and may well have been the birth of strategic production control as we know it today.
LEAN MANUFACTURING
At the end of the 18th century Benjamin Franklin wrote about reducing waste in Poor Richard s
Almanac and this may very well have been the starting point for waste reduction thinking. At the
beginning of the 20th century Henry Ford was the first person to truly integrate a production process
with waste reduction, inventory control, and time management in mind. This paved the way for Lean
Manufacturing strategies to

J Crew Swot Analysis
J Crew is a high end clothing store located in the fashion mall off of Keystone and 86 Street in
Indianapolis. The exact address is: 8702 Keystone Crossing, Indianapolis, IN 46240. The Fashion
Mall in general is considered high end and very upscale. J Crew is known for its preppy style and high
quality. The store I have chosen to compare J Crew to is Old Navy in Clay Terrace, an outdoor
shopping center in Carmel, Indiana. The exact address for this clothing store is: 14250 Clay Terrace
Blvd, Suite180, Carmel, IN 46032. Clay Terrace is a very nice outdoor shopping center it is not like an
outlet mall in that it is much more high end. Old Navy is known for its bargain prices and being able
to keep up with modern day fashion with those bargain prices. When you walk into J Crew you
immediately get a classy feel. The tables and shelving of the store are made of a deep and beautiful
wood outlined with thick vibrant metals. The flooring is wood and the clothing set up is rich with
color and style to draw you into the atmosphere. Once you have entered the miraculous store the team
members immediately greet you with a warm welcome and a willingness to help in anyway possible.
The architecture is very classic with a modern twist to bring in all different types of people. The store

towards families on a budget. Old Navy is quantity over quality. The floors are stained concrete and
going back to the displays they are made of some cheap material including corkboard. The personality
of Old Navy is family friendly and back to the basics. Old Navy has the staple clothing everyone

To His Coy Mistress
To his Coy Mistress by Andrew Marvell is about a man s lust for a woman. The narrator uses terms
like coy to describe his mistress. He also describes sex by using the word ball. The narrator also
compares their love to a vegetable that is steadily growing. The narrator uses words wisely in his
appeal to his lover. The narrator is trying to rush her into making a decision about loving him. The
narrator called his love interest coy because she wouldn t commit to him. The definition of coy is
affectedly and often flirtatiously shy or modest, the narrator seems to be growing tired of the woman
not committing to him. The narrator is trying to tell the woman that he will love her forever hoping
that it will make her fall for him once and for all, My vegetable love should grow Vaster than empires,
and more slow (Marvell). The narrator is lusting for this woman and will stop at nothing until she is
his. The narrator wants his love with his mistress to grow steadily until it reaches its climax. The
narrator is willing to spend time with his mistress while falling deeper and deeper in love. The narrator
compares his love to a vegetable because vegetables grow slowly and steadily just like his love. But
there is one downfall to his statement, vegetables only grow seasonally and once they hit ... Show

Seven different Muslim nations decided to join under one banner. While they retain their names,
together they call themselves the United Arab Emirates (UAE). A nation of approximately 5,927,482
people, and the size of the state of Indiana, it is no wonder why they are comprised of many
nationalities. Investigating this nation s culture has been an enlightening experience. Furthermore,
understanding this sovereign states government, culture, and its rich ties to the United States of
America, helps to define why both nations come together to defeat terrorism with combined air

They also touch their heads in manner similar to a salute. As you can see, greetings among close
companions in both nations have similar customary actions during their introductions to one another.
Though you see similarities in their greetings, there are stark diversities among the cultures.
Therefore, understanding interactions within Muslim states is important to the overall concept of their
culture. Many American men and women tend to sit with their legs crossed. There are many occasions
when people within the country, sit with their feet propped up on something. For the American culture,
this is a normal action. Showing the sole of your foot to someone in America does not register as
disrespect to Americans. The people of the UAE find this gesture is a clear sign of disrespect. This
article has revealed the cause of this belief is due to the foot being the lowest part of the body, and
because it stays in contact with the ground. Understanding the way they do their business deals is
another way to explain their culture. Networking the Arabian way or Wasta, is the way the natives
explain business dealings with other people. This means, in order to have a successful business
relationship with someone, you must first build a personal relationship with them. A business
relationship built that grows out of a personal relationship helps to ensure that deals run smoothly and
efficiently. The people of UAE learned this lesson from when they were

Working In The Workplace Essay
Introduction Telecommuting to work, also known as working from home, is a relatively new trend in
the work environment. It is brought about by the availability of technological advances that allow for
the employees to work away from the office and still manage to communicate with the other
employees and supervisors, and access needed data for the work. It is an attractive concept, as who
would not want to work as comfortably as they can be? Personal Reflection I have been working for
three years, one of which have been for a private corporation, and the other two with a small creatives
company. There is a wide difference between these two jobs and the workplace, and I can t think of a
similarity between them at the top of my mind. The benefits and problems of these two jobs are also
very different. Part of my first job was actual interaction with groups of employees at a time. I also
handled confidential documents and trade secrets. I talked to no less than 15 people every day on work
related matters. I worked for 10 hours, and the office was a couple of hours away from home by train.
My second job, on the other hand, did not include daily interactions. There can be days that I don t
speak with anyone at all, and that s perfectly fine. Then we have projects where we work with groups
of people from two to 1,000, which changes the pace. The office is 30 minutes away, with a mix of
walking and a bus ride, and a regular office day is only seven hours. And I am allowed to work

A Chapel By William Blake Analysis Essay
Blake starts the poem with an almost idyllic or nostalgic atmosphere; he uses rhyme s that contains a
very long E sound, which forces the reader to smile for proper pronunciation. The speaker is visiting
the garden of his youth, which he realizes has been occupied by briars and tombstones; symbolizing
death. The once open, green piece of land where he used to play, has been covered, and on it, a chapel
has been erected in the middle of its space. The narrator s dismay cannot be fully recognized as the
poem starts; the building of the chapel does not imply any specific disapproval, especially because the
line, And saw what I never had seen, may be taken positively at first read. However, A Chapel was
built in the midst Where I used to play on the green, hints at a more despondent feeling; the narrator is
realizing that the field has been robbed of its innocence, which effectively begins to present the chapel
as evil. The Chapel, in comparison to the garden, is completely unnatural; its shape is triangular and
squarish, making it almost forced and artificial in its place on the natural field. In this way, Blake
successfully conveys his antipathy towards the church and organized religion; he is presenting its
position in the garden as one of complete irregularity, sadness, and gloom. Thinking of the garden of
love in the biblical sense, it very much represents the Garden of Eden; where Adam and Eve once
lived in innocence, without the guilt of love. Thinking of Blake s

In fact, in the Salem witch trials, the subject of the frenzy was a fear of witches. The puritans lived a
strictly religious life, their fear of witches and the devil easily led them to jump to conclusions without

of communism due to the events of the cold war (Red Scare, History.com). Due to the US s focus on

Evolution of the Character Jim in Stevenson s Treasure Island
Everyone has two sides to their personality. Sometimes one side is displayed and other times the
opposite side is displayed. In 1883, Robert Louis Stevenson created, Treasure Island. While some of
the characters in this novel are extremely witty, and courageous; others are full of animosity, deceit,
and greed. In this novel the main character shows all of these characteristics.
Jim Hawkins is introduced from the opening of the novel. Jim, who helps his mother at the Admiral

There are three aspects of characterization that will show the reader how Jim changes from a passive
to an aggressive character. This is shown by Jim s actions, appearance and by what other people think
of him.
Jim is a respected young man. Nobody more welcome than yourself my son John Silver would say to
him (54). Silver thinks the world of Jim. Later in the novel the reader finds out that Silver questions
Jim. I see you were smart when I first set my eyes on you; but this here gets away from me clean
(156). Silver says this to him Jim after he confronts all of the mutineers face to face. Jim is even
threatened by the mutineers, but that doesn t stop him from saying what is on his mind. This is a very
different and brave move for Jim to make considering how passive he is in the beginning of the novel.
Jim, in the beginning of the story, is also portrayed as a disciplined, hard worker. His actions show this
when on the first day out at sea he works extremely hard and accomplishes all of his work, no matter
how tired he is. We never had a night at the Admiral Benbow when I had half the work? I was dog
tired (52). But, later he makes a dramatic change. He kills several men, capsizes the ship, and faces
death with a laugh. As for the schooner, it was I who cut her cable, and it was I who killed the men
you had aboard of her, and it was I who brought her where you will never see her more (158). Jim s

Examples Of Revenge In The Count Of Monte Cristo

Revenge Has Penalties Samuel Johnson once said, Revenge is an act of passion; vengeance of justice.
Injuries are revenged; crimes are avenged. He points out that without passion one will not have one s
revenge. Passion is an essential tool to help fuel one s continuous search for revenge to gain justice. If
someone inflicts harm upon another, they should expect retribution coming their way. This is what
occurs in the adventurous, fictional novel The Count of Monte Cristo written by Alexandre Dumas.

The Dimensions Of Meaning That The Use Of Photography Brings
The Dimensions of Meaning That the Use of Photography Brings To the Artwork
In addition to the two traditional physical dimensions of an image, every photographic image utilizes
seven dimensions. Four of these dimensions are features of the image itself, and are exposure, tonality,
colour and focus. The remaining three dimensions are subject focused dimensions, and include
constructed and found images, objectivity and complexity. (Ang 2013)
Photography, historically, was initially used to supply knowledge pertaining to sexuality through the
observation of the human body. (Gunkel 2009)

The focus of the image juxtaposes the sharpness of the subject s torso with the blurriness of the

the portrayed subject.
The clapping motion indicated by the subject s hands in the image, exudes a sense of the subject
applauding the viewer, seemingly reversing the roles between observed and observer. (Gunkel 2009)
Roland Barthes in, The Photographic Message, explains that the moments in time photographs are
intended to capture are seemingly a mechanical analogue of reality , a message, if you will. A message
that only becomes discernible after the fact, and it is only then that the importance of the photograph is
embodied. Furthermore, by describing the afore mentioned message it would attach a connoted

Keeping with the afore mentioned notion of the moment in time captured by photographs being

the other covering her vagina. (Thomas 2010)

National Public Health Performance Standards Program
In 1994 the Core Public Health Functions Steering Committee at the Center for Disease Control
(CDC) released a list of 10 Essential Public Health Services ( The Public Health System, 2014). This
was an essential step towards making established public health organizations accountable and giving
new programs a framework on which to develop from. This list outlines the foundation for the
National Public Health Performance Standards Program. The ten essential public health services
provide a way to assess the impact of these programs. This paper will explore and analyze case studies
and the essential public health services they represent.
Case One surrounds the issue of water fluoridation. The process of water samples being submitted for
testing each month was described, along with which public health sectors the results are reported to.
Krisberg states that the parameters for water fluoridation levels were first established in 1962. She also
reports that the level of fluoride established at that time was 1.2 milligrams per liter. In 2015 this level
was reduced to 0.7 milligrams per liter (Krisberg, 2015).
Many of the ten essential public health services can be seen in the details of the first case study. The
instance described in case one correlates most closely to the sixth essential public health service to
enforce laws and regulations that protect health and ensure safety (American Public Health
Association, n.d.). This case study was a prime example of how the public

Ultra High Performance Concrete ( Uhpc )
1. Introduction
Ultra high performance concrete (UHPC) represents a major progress step over normal strength
concrete (NSC) and high strength concrete (HSC), through the achievement of very high strength and
very low permeability. Basically, the UHPC is a concrete with compressive strength ranging 120 to
400 MPa, this ultra high strength is achieved through different techniques including the use of
improved materials, ultra fine pozzolans (e.g. silica fume), low water cement ratio, improved quality
and higher dosage of superplasticizer, use of fibers (metallic or synthetic) to increase the energy
absorption capacity and decrease brittleness, high cementitious materials content, longer mixing time
and heat treatment [1]. UHPC tensile strength varies from 10 to 30 MPa; and the modulus of elasticity
is in the range of 60 100 GPa [2].
Using UHPC in the construction of new bridges and the renewal of existing highway bridge network
can minimize maintenance requirement in the construction of new long life bridges resulting in low
life cycle costs [3].
Despite its exceptional material properties, UHPC s initial construction cost is significantly higher
than that of normal strength concrete (NSC), which limited its use in North America and elsewhere. To
address some of the challenges facing bridge owners, the structural efficiency and cost effectiveness
of using UHPC in composite construction is investigated in this paper. Therefore, combining NSC
with UHPFRC in a composite

Federal Budget Essay
The federal budget is known as the notorious economic tank from which money is distributed to
various programs. The money used every fiscal year, which begins October 1st and ends September
30th the next year, belongs to the people. The government raises this money through taxes and they
spend it on national defense, Medicare, and social security. The federal budget is an exercise in
making choices, and those options will certainly affect individuals living in the U.S. These choices
cause debt to pile up on the government, who is struggling to make it disappear. The deficit and debt

There are not any easy ways to cut spending on the military especially since we are in the middle of
fighting in Iraq. We can not just pull some troops or provide them with less weapons or supplies then

new security challenges, not the threats of the last century. We need to recognize that a strong
economy is essential for providing the resources to meet future threats; addressing these long term

Women s Rights Violations in Afghanistan
Women s Rights Violations in Afghanistan
Martin Luther King Jr. once said, True peace is not merely the absence of tension, it is the presence of
justice. It means that without equality, there is no real end to a conflict. Equality is one of the many
human rights every person is entitled to. It is never acceptable to deny people their basic human rights;
however, this has occurred frequently throughout history. A wide variety of groups have been
discriminated against through violations of human rights, but women have faced this hardship the
most. Times have changed, and many women now possess their deserved human rights, but others are
less fortunate. In the book, A Thousand Splendid Suns, by Khaled Hosseini, human rights violations ...

The Taliban made matters incredibly worse for women in Afghanistan.
Because most of the violations against women were directly due to Taliban law, every woman in
Afghanistan had to deal with this abuse of rights. When education was banned, they could no longer
have dreams of becoming professional working women. Their new destiny was forced marriage,
polygamy, and housework.
Men are the main perpetrators in most women s rights cases, but in Afghanistan, it is society. Women
are looked down upon so severely that even women themselves are ashamed when they give birth to
females because everybody feels sad for you (Nordberg). A pregnant woman in Afghanistan gave birth
to twins prematurely. When they arrived, they were extremely small and unconscious. The woman s
mother in law began to cry, not because the babies were unconscious, but because both of them were
girls. It is a disgrace to have more girls in the family.
The entire female population in Afghanistan is directly affected by the societal prejudice against them.
There are so many restrictions and limitations towards women that they can be charged with a crime
that harmed nobody and nothing at all. The male population is willing to find anything they can to use
against these innocent women. Women deserve to at possess the minimal human rights that they

decade. The idea of using a personal device at work developed when many executives got their first
Blackberries and iPhones back in the mid 2000 s and wanted access to corporate resources from these
devices such as email and the corporate intranet. Since then, BYOD has transitioned from a trend to a

The issue is two fold, one being that IT departments have lost the ability to fully manage devices that
connect to the company s network, but also employees are now demanding that they have the ability
to conduct company business and have access to extremely secure company resources from multiple
personal devices. Obviously this hasn t gone over very well from the IT perspective. Initially IT
departments were very resistant to change taking into consideration the huge security risk allowing
these devices onto the network presents, however more and more departments are beginning to adopt
these new practices, but at the same time are still very hesitant because they remained very concerned
about the inherent risks of permitting personal devices to access and store sensitive corporate data.
The timeline outlined below gives an excellent graphical representation of where BYOD started in the
early 200 s and where it is and going now that it s in its third wave and really finding its way as a
mature solution in the enterprise. Mobile devices are a mixed blessing for enterprises. CRN reported
on a Poneman Institute, a IT security research firm, found that 77 percent of corporate professionals
who responded to the survey said that the use of mobile devices in the workplace is important to
achieving business objectives, but almost the same percentage, 76 percent, believe that these tools
present a serious set of security risks. While organizations comprehend the

The Supreme Court s 1954 Brown V. Board Of Education
The Supreme Court s 1954 Brown v. Board of Education decision ending de jure segregation was a
watershed moment in American history. The hope was that by striking down state laws that maintained
racially segregated public schools, America would embark on a new course leading to integrated
public schools. The Court recognized the critical role that public schools play in shaping American
culture and promoting the well being of the nation. In addition to ensuring Constitutional rights to
equal protection under the law, the Brown decision paved a path for students to receive educational
services in integrated learning environments that reflect the diversity of American society. In the

Non alcoholic Beverage Industry Trends and Justification
Industry Trends
Today Non alcoholic Beverage Industry continues to grow due to the growing population and rise of
the middle class, especially in emerging markets, and disposable income. All these are key growth
drivers for non alcoholic beverage companies to thrive. According to the Market Intelligence firm
Euromonitor International predicts the middle class around the country will make up 1.5 billion
households by 2020, a 25% rise since 2012. According to the Bureau of Economic Analysis report,
U.S. consumption accounts for over two thirds of the country s gross domestic product (or GDP).
Individuals tend to spend more with a rise in their disposable income. The increase in consumer
confidence also increases consumption expenditure (www.marketrealist.com). Another reason non
alcoholic beverage is on the growth because consumers are more health conscious, and sugary drinks
are on the decline. According to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, calories from added
sugars in soda are down 39 percent since 2000 because Americans are more conscious about their
weight and the rising obesity rates. Two Thirds of U.S. adults prove to be overweight or obese, a
number that has been rising steadily for the past three decades (www.cnbc.com). According to the

Parexel Case Comparison Paper
Introduction While social media platforms present avenues for the freedom of expression, the rules or
regulations that guide the privilege may sometimes be curtailed or applied wrongly. Employees and
organizations are facing the dilemma on what to post or not to post on these platforms. An employee
may decide to air something through these public arenas without the knowledge that their actions may
surpass their rights and thus infringe on others rights or cause damages to other people (Boyce, 2014).
On the other hand, an organization may control the communication of employees on social media
platforms to the extent that it violates their rights and privileges. It is in this respect that this paper
explores the Facebook and Praxel cases as they are related to these matters. Comparison and Contrast
between the Two Situations The Facebook and Parexel cases provide differences in the way that
protected concerted activities are applicable under the National Labor Act. For instance, in the
Facebook case, American Medical Response Company dismissed an employee of her duty for posting
derogatory comments about her supervisor via Facebook. According to the labor board, the company

Isaiah was a major prophet that lived in the 8th century when the Babylonian Exile happens which is
the single most important event in the history of the bible s formation. Isaiah was a guy that was so

Isaiah which is one of the biggest bible book. The book of the isaiah was written in three sections
which are before the Exile, during the exile, and after the exile ended. The key themes for this book is

Television Shows Like CSI
I was already aware that television shows like CSI are not accurate when explaining crime scene
investigator s job. Television shows, movies, books, etc constantly overly emphasize specific
situations in order for the people to be entertained. If entertainment went the way it is was in real life,
than we d all be bored out of our minds. For instance, criminal investigators spend a lot of time on
paper work. I doubt we would want to watch that on television. I don t want you to think that I believe
a criminal investigators job is boring because it s not all the time and investigators will have plenty of
stories to share throughout their career. I don t watch the show CSI that frequently, but it may display
some accuracy from time to time, but I would not take it seriously.
The common mistakes made are simple acts that ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
For example, the television show may go out their way to test the DNA evidence along with the
defendant s confession, but the DNA evidence would be costly. In that case, the DNA evidence

like CSI mostly uses science as a definite conclusion mainly involving DNA evidence, but it is not
always effective. Forensic scientist s focus on probability calculations and the results are not instant.
DNA always is not always guaranteed to have results. To elaborate, specific factors can damage DNA
such as age, humidity, heat and sunlight. In addition, television shows occasionally display ultra violet

Teaching Phonics And Teach Phonics
One of the tasks required by teachers is to teach children to read and write, with this comes different
approaches that teachers need to be aware of. Phonics is one of the approaches adopted by teachers
when teaching children to read and write. Adopting different methods of teaching phonics its what
makes teachers effective, and adaptive. This essay aims to look closer at phonics and some of the
different approaches used to teach phonics in the classroom. Phonics approaches that will be discussed
in this paper include synthetic phonics, Analytic phonics, Linguist phonics and Word building.
Phonics is a method that teaches reading and writing of the English language. It aims to enhance
investigation into sound letter relationships, and the understanding of the alphabet (Hill, S., 2012, p.
241). It attempts to do this by developing learners phonemic awareness. Phonics is used to assist
learners with the decoding of words. Phonics is valuable as without this understanding of sound letter
relationships, being able to read is unachievable. However, it is not the whole part of learning to read
and write.Gough, Hoover and Peterson state (cited in Damianou, 2016, p. 128) that a child who cannot
decode cannot read; a child who cannot comprehend cannot read either . Understanding what readers
are reading is also a very important role and should not be overlooked. Research has found that there
are six elements that benefit children who are starting school that must firstly be

The Pros And Cons Of Pornography And Prostitution
George Bernard Shaw once said pornographic novelist is one who exploits the sexual instinct as a
prostitute does. A legitimate sex novel elucidates it or brings out its poetry, tragedy, or comedy. In
other words, Shaw argues that pornography and prostitution is somewhat the same besides
pornography is considered legal while prostitution is illegal.
According to legal researchers, the headlines are constantly filled with new stories of politicians quite
literally caught with their pants down in scandals with prostitutes. This often raises the question of
why prostitution is not treated in the same way as pornography. Researchers asked, why is sex for
money okay in one setting and not another ? The distinction between the two is straight forward. The
finding of porn performances constitutes acting subject to the artistic expression protections, which is
the First Amendment to the United States Constitution. Although, the distinction is that porn stars are
paid to act, and prostitutes are paid for sex.
Researchers made it clear that performers may engage in sex as part of their roles, but that does not
count as sex for hire . It was also brought to the attention of researchers Sex during creating a movie
or a photo is an expression protected under the First Amendment. Generally, the one paying for the sex
is also different than the one receiving the benefit of that act, further distancing it from a strictly sex
for money arrangement . Some free of speech parties argue that even first person movies should be
afforded this protection, though no significant cases have gone to court .
Reporters state, while recorded sexual performances have been relatively protected, live performances
are much less so. Compared with sexually explicit media, live sex shows have very little protection
under the law, though the Supreme Court in Oregon did overturn two state laws concerning sex shows
on free speech and expression grounds in 2005 .
The turning point in the porn and prostitution debate occurred in the 1980 s in California. Prosecutors
argued that an adult film producer named Harold Freeman was guilty of pimping because he had hired
five women to perform sex acts for a movie called Caught from Behind II.

Recount essay
Recount The movie recount is a very good representation of what happened during the 2000 election
between George W. Bush and Al Gore. It dives into the legal battle between the two campaigns as the
recount of Florida s votes kept the nation waiting for over a month. Although the movie shows both
sides of the story, I believe the Democrats supported the making of this movie. During the movie they
made it seem like the Democrats were being treated unfairly but really the government was just
following the rules. Today it is still a controversial topic, I believe the government handled it the right
way and that if it was to happen again, the same outcome would happen. At the end of the movie they

This butterfly ballot caused confusion to many voters, and quickly after they voted many had called in
saying the voted for the wrong person. The reason given for the design was that they felt the people
wouldn t be able to read the font if they put all the candidates on the same side of the ballot. Although
the set up may have been confusing it is your job as a voter to pay attention to what you are doing
while voting.
A hanging chad is the piece of paper left hanging from a punch card ballot when the punch is
incomplete. A bulging chad is still attached to the hole on both sides. During the 2000 election chads
were a very big deal. During the recount it was a big decision whether or not to count a vote that didn t
go all the way through even if you could tell where their intended vote was heading. In my opinion
they should not count the vote if it did not go all the way through, again it is your job as a voter to
make your vote obvious.
The Florida Recount Law states that, the close vote margin for Florida elections is 0.5% of the total
votes cast for a given office or measure. The law specifies that candidates, including candidates for
retention to a judicial office, and ballot measures are all subject to recounts. Both primary and general
elections are eligible for recounts. The apparent losing candidate by this margin can waive the recount
if such a request is made in

Case Study of Executive Holloware
Case of study of executive holloware
INTRODUCTION:
This document contains the case of study of Executive Holloware (EH), a company that manufactures
products that aimed at the top end of market with a commanded high price. The most important
product was the handmade silver plated tea sets.
In the following pages, a definition and specification of quality is presented and why it is important
for the company. It is also mention the main causes of the problems in the case of study, the measure
of quality in the stages during the manufacturing process and finally the recommendations of steps for

Quality is also specified in the internal process. This process needs to be measure and comparable to
the acceptable ranges in production to develop a product that fulfil the specifications and it also
requires the participation from everyone in the organization . (Maguad, 2006)
4. What are the underlying causes of the problems at Executive Holloware?
There are some problems presented in the EH case of study. First, the products developed by the
company are high value tea sets items, thus the necessity to maintain a standard performance to
produce a product without any defect. One cause of the problem is that there is no specific definition
of defect in the entire process. It is mentioned that the senior shop foreman does not have a clear
understanding of defect definition and this affect the correct performance of the entire process because
it represent in re working cost.
Other cause of problem is that each department does not maintain a close communication about the
relevance of the quality in the process. Paul realized that each department blame each other regarding
to the scratches and bruises of the product. Even the finance director did not has a clear vision of the
situation, therefore the lack of communication and process internal control
In the Organization, there were no specification clearly defined of quality and the metrics of quality

Niggaz With Attitude
N.W.A. (Niggaz With Attitude) emerged in Compton, California, they were a hip hop based group that
was widely considered as one of the seminal acts of the gangster rap sub genre of hip hop. The group
was active from 1986 to 1991 and endured controversy due to their explicit nature of their lyrics (6).
The things they said in their music was of a shocker to society or mostly to their white listeners. These
explicit lyrics were not supposed to be said out loud in public, let alone in music. During their time,
they were banned from many mainstream U.S. radio stations, prevented from touring, and faced
obstacles from the police (6). N.W.A. originally consisted of artists Eazy E, Ice Cube, Dr. Dre, MC

of violence against police. The songs main vocals were Ice Cube, Eazy E, and MC Ren. With Dr. Dre,
Ice Cube, and The D.O.C. doing the intro. The rest of the group, except DJ Yella, incorporated 3 skits
throughout the song with a cop being added to these skits. The hook in itself, explicitly repeats Fuck

tells about the case of N.W.A. versus the police department and Ice Cube testifying first, which is the
group rapping the testimony. The testimony; song, tells about racial profiling towards the group and
the police having the authority to do what they please to them. They go through searches and beatings
from the police. With MC Ren testifying next about his experience. Telling about the white majority
having power over the rest, using violence against the police, and not caring anymore. Then finally

Daily Parking
Introduction and Background
Humber College North Campus, a home to over 19,000 people and residence to 1,000 students, have

students both residential and international, thus increasing the surplus population of its school. We
have noticed that while doing so they have decreased the space of parking for both staff and students.
If parking spaces are limited to the members of this school now, how do they plan on bringing in more
people, who will be coming in from all over the world?

College North campus, the following conclusions were obtained:
Most of the members, students in particular, do not drive to school, they either get a ride, carpool, or

Voter Identification Legislation
In the past decade, a total of 34 states have passed voter identification laws with the same guidelines
from state to state. These laws require voters to show a proof of photo identification in order to be
eligible to vote or receive a ballot at the voting polls. The initial purpose of the voter ID laws was to
prevent voter fraud. However, the laws have made voting harder for some Americans, like minorities,
women, students and elders by requiring a government issued photo ID. Many people assume that
everyone should have a government issued photo ID or a driver license. This concept is irrational and
untrue because there are still people in this wealthy country who cannot afford a good meal.
According to Abranmsky (2013), The current ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
I know that some people might say the states can provide an identification card at free of charge, so
the laws will not disenfranchise minorities, students, and people in poverty. However, this is not true.
This solution would be a no win situation for both sides in terms of money. Many citizens would find
it hard to get an ID or even if it is free because in order to obtain a free identification, those people still
would have to submit some sorts of required papers, like birth certificate, passport or naturalization
paper to get a free ID. The cheapest option that is available would be a birth certificate, which would
cost about $22. According to the Voting Right Institution, The report concluded that if these 35 states
enact a photo ID law, they collectively will spend at least $276 million, and possibly as much as $828
million, in the first four years alone. The States could have used that money to create more job
opportunities and build more government senior housings. I agree with the argument that we can use
our social security number to register to vote. However, giving away your 9 digit social security

Maryland V. King Case Study

In Vietnamese Culture, What Should Be Considered as Rites...
Maturity begins to grow when you can sense your concern for others overweighing your concern for
yourself John Mac Naughton once said. It is particularly true in Vietnam where men who can not be
regarded as a mature person until he gets his first baby, even though they might have already got a
well paid job and married a good woman. In my opinion, having the first child is the most important
event marking the maturity of a people in both financial and spiritual terms. In this essay, I would like
to present three explanations to clarify my point of view. People should first recognize that the typical
characteristic of maturity is good financial management. Admittedly, financial pressure encountered

Vietnam, where the subjects witness low divorcing rate due to the strong sense of individual
responsibility, could be taken as an salient example of this. Ignoring the contribution of the baby in
growing up a mature person is thereby a grave mistake. What is also worth noticing is that spiritual
maturity is greatly fostered through educating children. It is undeniable that the prerequisite for adults
to encourage children moral awareness development is being the paragon of virtue. As a result, they
always self consciously conduct themself in parental position, which means the childish spontaneity in
their speech and action yields to mature deliberation. In addition, having a kid, people profoundly
penetrate the moral lessons in the university. These lessons, which took them a long time to learn by
rote, now become a useful tool for them to teach etiquette to their child. In this case, parents put
themselves at the place of teacher to thoroughly understand moral philosophy and deliver it in the
simplest word which is suitable for an innocent thought. Consequently, practice ethical thought
everyday will lead parents to higher level of maturity. All reliable evidences point out to one saying,
that is having the first child should be constituted as a Vietnamese rite of passage of a mature person.

Keeping The Driving Age Essay
Driving is a daily activity to those of age and to some, it is a basic necessity to their lives. When
turning 16 years old is when most people begin driving, but keeping the driving age at 16 causes
accidents and deaths, rather than raising the driving age and making the road a safer place. If a parent
had a choice between their child dying or having an inconvenience of driving them around, hopefully,
they would choose having an inconvenience. Imagine a teen is driving with other underage teens in
the car 20 to 30 miles per hour over the speed limit.
Teenage brain development is at a vulnerable state and is not fully developed causing poor judgment
and bad decisions. New findings from brain researchers at the National Institutes of Health explain
that the part of the teenage brain called the dorsolateral prefrontal cortex is the part that weighs risks,
makes judgments, and controls impulsive behavior (Davis). This part of the brain causes the reckless
teen driver s actions and accidents. The National Institutes of Health have analyzed 4,000 brain scans
from 2,000 to document how brains evolve as children mature and has shown ... Show more content

Parents have had to drive their children around since their kids were born, taking them to school,
sports, and extracurricular activities. Parents are tired of constantly having to chauffeur their kids
around (Davis). Now that their teens are old enough to drive, the 16 year can run errands for the
parents. However, what is more important to the parents, the inconvenience of them having to drive
their teens everywhere or their child s safety? To most parents, their children s safety is the number
one priority and many do not realize the risks of teen driving. For example, Kathy Schaefer and
Melissa Herberz, mothers of two crash victims had no idea of the odds of their only daughters were
facing the night they were killed

David Guetta Meaning
Titanium , by David Guetta, is a song that describes a super woman that can withstand any abuse
given to her. David Guetta is able to enhance the lyrics of this song by including several loud breaks
within this song. During these breaks, Ratliff describes how the loud bass drum beats away all the
white noise. I found it interesting how uncomfortable the white noise sounded, and I think the song
would sound terrible if this loud bass drum was taken out. Additionally, I think that if the bass drum
was taken out, the song would not contain such a double meaning. The white noise seems to represent
all the abuse put onto this woman, and the bass drum seems to be her fighting it off. If she were truly
bullet proof, she would not need to fight this ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
These preexisting sounds make this song sound alien to the music from today; as a result, the music
ends up reminding the listener of similar music from the 1960s. For instance, the drum beat
throughout the song Be My Baby hits only on the fourth beat which is primarily heard in Latin music.
This gives the beat more pull whenever the snare beat finally comes around, as opposed to the snare
being hit on the second and fourth beat. Furthermore, the castanets played throughout this song sound
very Latin. In our age of electronic music, we typically use other electronic sounds in the background
take the place of castanets. On the other hand, the background vocals sung in Be My Baby sound like
the 1960s. For example, the background singers continue to sing parts of the chorus throughout the
song a lot louder than most of the music heard today. As a result, music from the 1960s seems to
always contain a clear message that is hammered in by the repetitive backup vocalists and the highly
anticipated snare drum. This music fits within a time period, since music continues to adapt and
change to meet the tastes of its listeners. For this reason, this music sounds alien, since our generation
is very different from people in the

Batman Analysis
Writing essays have never been easy for me. Describing my thoughts and feelings just don t seem to
turn into the right words I want to say. Coming up with a theme and an argument is hard to convey,
making the reader see what I m truly trying to say. The hardest parts of writing essays for me is
coming up with the right things to say that correlate to my argument and doing so under a short period
of time. For starters, Im a slow worker. It takes me longer than the average student to come up with
the perfect essay. Its not that I don t understand, I just have trouble keeping up with time. Which is
another major problem I have, I never seem to have enough time to complete all of my work so I have
to pick which ones the most important. Along ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
They contained elements to the story that broke cliche because they went for the opposite of what
feels right. The first one, Fear and Loathing, was about a mans drug addiction and how his brain
worked while on them. The other was about Batman s death, from the point of view of his ghost. Both
comics were engaging because they weren t like other stories you expect to read. Their openings both
had a special effect that made you want to keep reading. In order to have a successful story you must
achieve the proper hook. This way when your reader starts the story they want to finish it and find out
what happens. When I first started reading the comic about drugs, I was confused as to where this
story was going to lead. Drugs are something that is highly looked down upon and because this author
chose to write about it and poetry it as this mans passion, was confusing yet engaging. His strength
however was the curiosity as to how and why this person was driving while on drugs and what role the
partner was playing. His weakness in the story however was the concept of using drugs and where the
story was going. It showed that he was about to become dangerous if necessary while on drugs stating
he would cut the head off of a man. While entertaining to see whether or not he would, it made me
feel that this man was stupid and I didn t have any attachment to him nor

  • 2. Insane-Personal Narrative I curse the amount of street lights there are and go around to the side of the house, careful to duck into the shadows. The sound of a noisy dog barking next door has my pulse racing and my eyes cataloging everything around me. Just so you know, regardless of how it may seem at the moment, I am not a bad person. Just desperate, and well aware that desperation may get me locked up, or worse killed. If I have to analyze my motives, what moved me from point A to point B, I would say it was the smirk on Jesse s face. The one he had on his face when he admitted to repeatedly hooking up with his ex girlfriend behind my unsuspecting back. And while he was coming clean, the whole while he was cheesing like a guy who d smoked way too much weed, well aware he had stolen ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... I see Jesse tossing back his head and laughing that stupid arrogant laugh of his: you don t have it in you, Juliet Hobbs. You are a still just a sheltered little scared girl with no guts. Easy to take from. Just look at how I treated you, and you worshiped the ground I walked on. A joke. You are a big, FAT joke. No sounds come from inside the home. Just the twinkling of the stars overhead, and my breaking into someone s home. Perfect. Nothing unusual here. It s eight p.m. on a Friday night, and the entire house is pitch black. Hopefully, that means the bastard isn t home. Nobody goes to bed at eight, right? He has to be out, probably cracking up over the girl dumb enough to lose her family s heirloom. • 3. The Roots Of Lean Manufacturing Production managers are faced with many challenges within their facilities such as managing inventories, controlling waste, and managing an ever changing production schedule. Managing product flows can be difficult when balancing supply chain inventories with demand changes or scheduling problems due to throughput variations. Several methods for managing these challenges have been developed through the years and each have their own advantages and disadvantages for different applications. The methods discussed in this paper will be limited to the Theory of Constraints, Just in Time, and Material Requirements Planning. All three methods are designed to manage different aspects of a manufacturing facility s product flow but all three were ultimately developed as an optimization strategy for the manufacturing process. The roots of Lean Manufacturing is one of the earliest management strategies to be developed to address the challenges for production control and may well have been the birth of strategic production control as we know it today. LEAN MANUFACTURING At the end of the 18th century Benjamin Franklin wrote about reducing waste in Poor Richard s Almanac and this may very well have been the starting point for waste reduction thinking. At the beginning of the 20th century Henry Ford was the first person to truly integrate a production process with waste reduction, inventory control, and time management in mind. This paved the way for Lean Manufacturing strategies to ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 4. J Crew Swot Analysis J Crew is a high end clothing store located in the fashion mall off of Keystone and 86 Street in Indianapolis. The exact address is: 8702 Keystone Crossing, Indianapolis, IN 46240. The Fashion Mall in general is considered high end and very upscale. J Crew is known for its preppy style and high quality. The store I have chosen to compare J Crew to is Old Navy in Clay Terrace, an outdoor shopping center in Carmel, Indiana. The exact address for this clothing store is: 14250 Clay Terrace Blvd, Suite180, Carmel, IN 46032. Clay Terrace is a very nice outdoor shopping center it is not like an outlet mall in that it is much more high end. Old Navy is known for its bargain prices and being able to keep up with modern day fashion with those bargain prices. When you walk into J Crew you immediately get a classy feel. The tables and shelving of the store are made of a deep and beautiful wood outlined with thick vibrant metals. The flooring is wood and the clothing set up is rich with color and style to draw you into the atmosphere. Once you have entered the miraculous store the team members immediately greet you with a warm welcome and a willingness to help in anyway possible. The architecture is very classic with a modern twist to bring in all different types of people. The store is very well lit but ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... • 5. To His Coy Mistress To his Coy Mistress by Andrew Marvell is about a man s lust for a woman. The narrator uses terms like coy to describe his mistress. He also describes sex by using the word ball. The narrator also compares their love to a vegetable that is steadily growing. The narrator uses words wisely in his appeal to his lover. The narrator is trying to rush her into making a decision about loving him. The narrator called his love interest coy because she wouldn t commit to him. The definition of coy is affectedly and often flirtatiously shy or modest, the narrator seems to be growing tired of the woman not committing to him. The narrator is trying to tell the woman that he will love her forever hoping that it will make her fall for him once and for all, My vegetable love should grow Vaster than empires, and more slow (Marvell). The narrator is lusting for this woman and will stop at nothing until she is his. The narrator wants his love with his mistress to grow steadily until it reaches its climax. The narrator is willing to spend time with his mistress while falling deeper and deeper in love. The narrator compares his love to a vegetable because vegetables grow slowly and steadily just like his love. • 6. Uae Essay Seven different Muslim nations decided to join under one banner. While they retain their names, together they call themselves the United Arab Emirates (UAE). A nation of approximately 5,927,482 people, and the size of the state of Indiana, it is no wonder why they are comprised of many nationalities. • 7. Working In The Workplace Essay Introduction Telecommuting to work, also known as working from home, is a relatively new trend in the work environment. It is brought about by the availability of technological advances that allow for the employees to work away from the office and still manage to communicate with the other employees and supervisors, and access needed data for the work. It is an attractive concept, as who would not want to work as comfortably as they can be? Personal Reflection I have been working for three years, one of which have been for a private corporation, and the other two with a small creatives company. There is a wide difference between these two jobs and the workplace, and I can t think of a similarity between them at the top of my mind. The benefits and problems of these two jobs are also very different. Part of my first job was actual interaction with groups of employees at a time. I also handled confidential documents and trade secrets. I talked to no less than 15 people every day on work related matters. I worked for 10 hours, and the office was a couple of hours away from home by train. My second job, on the other hand, did not include daily interactions. There can be days that I don t speak with anyone at all, and that s perfectly fine. Then we have projects where we work with groups of people from two to 1,000, which changes the pace. • 9. A Chapel By William Blake Analysis Essay Blake starts the poem with an almost idyllic or nostalgic atmosphere; he uses rhyme s that contains a very long E sound, which forces the reader to smile for proper pronunciation. The speaker is visiting the garden of his youth, which he realizes has been occupied by briars and tombstones; symbolizing death. The once open, green piece of land where he used to play, has been covered, and on it, a chapel has been erected in the middle of its space. The narrator s dismay cannot be fully recognized as the poem starts; the building of the chapel does not imply any specific disapproval, especially because the line, And saw what I never had seen, may be taken positively at first read. However, A Chapel was built in the midst Where I used to play on the green, hints at a more despondent feeling; the narrator is realizing that the field has been robbed of its innocence, which effectively begins to present the chapel as evil. The Chapel, in comparison to the garden, is completely unnatural; its shape is triangular and squarish, making it almost forced and artificial in its place on the natural field. In this way, Blake successfully conveys his antipathy towards the church and organized religion; he is presenting its position in the garden as one of complete irregularity, sadness, and gloom. Thinking of the garden of love in the biblical sense, it very much represents the Garden of Eden; where Adam and Eve once lived in innocence, without the guilt of love. Thinking of Blake s ... Introduction Ultra high performance concrete (UHPC) represents a major progress step over normal strength concrete (NSC) and high strength concrete (HSC), through the achievement of very high strength and very low permeability. Basically, the UHPC is a concrete with compressive strength ranging 120 to 400 MPa, this ultra high strength is achieved through different techniques including the use of improved materials, ultra fine pozzolans (e.g. silica fume), low water cement ratio, improved quality and higher dosage of superplasticizer, use of fibers (metallic or synthetic) to increase the energy absorption capacity and decrease brittleness, high cementitious materials content, longer mixing time and heat treatment [1]. UHPC tensile strength varies from 10 to 30 MPa; and the modulus of elasticity is in the range of 60 100 GPa [2]. Using UHPC in the construction of new bridges and the renewal of existing highway bridge network can minimize maintenance requirement in the construction of new long life bridges resulting in low life cycle costs [3]. Despite its exceptional material properties, UHPC s initial construction cost is significantly higher than that of normal strength concrete (NSC), which limited its use in North America and elsewhere. To address some of the challenges facing bridge owners, the structural efficiency and cost effectiveness of using UHPC in composite construction is investigated in this paper. • 31. Teaching Phonics And Teach Phonics One of the tasks required by teachers is to teach children to read and write, with this comes different approaches that teachers need to be aware of. Phonics is one of the approaches adopted by teachers when teaching children to read and write. Adopting different methods of teaching phonics its what makes teachers effective, and adaptive. This essay aims to look closer at phonics and some of the different approaches used to teach phonics in the classroom. Phonics approaches that will be discussed in this paper include synthetic phonics, Analytic phonics, Linguist phonics and Word building. Phonics is a method that teaches reading and writing of the English language. It aims to enhance investigation into sound letter relationships, and the understanding of the alphabet (Hill, S., 2012, p. 241). It attempts to do this by developing learners phonemic awareness. Phonics is used to assist learners with the decoding of words. Phonics is valuable as without this understanding of sound letter relationships, being able to read is unachievable. However, it is not the whole part of learning to read and write.Gough, Hoover and Peterson state (cited in Damianou, 2016, p. 128) that a child who cannot decode cannot read; a child who cannot comprehend cannot read either . Understanding what readers are reading is also a very important role and should not be overlooked. • 32. The Pros And Cons Of Pornography And Prostitution George Bernard Shaw once said pornographic novelist is one who exploits the sexual instinct as a prostitute does. A legitimate sex novel elucidates it or brings out its poetry, tragedy, or comedy. In other words, Shaw argues that pornography and prostitution is somewhat the same besides pornography is considered legal while prostitution is illegal. According to legal researchers, the headlines are constantly filled with new stories of politicians quite literally caught with their pants down in scandals with prostitutes. This often raises the question of why prostitution is not treated in the same way as pornography. Researchers asked, why is sex for money okay in one setting and not another ? The distinction between the two is straight forward. The finding of porn performances constitutes acting subject to the artistic expression protections, which is the First Amendment to the United States Constitution. Although, the distinction is that porn stars are paid to act, and prostitutes are paid for sex. Researchers made it clear that performers may engage in sex as part of their roles, but that does not count as sex for hire . It was also brought to the attention of researchers Sex during creating a movie or a photo is an expression protected under the First Amendment. Generally, the one paying for the sex is also different than the one receiving the benefit of that act, further distancing it from a strictly sex for money arrangement . Some free of speech parties argue that even first person movies should be afforded this protection, though no significant cases have gone to court . Reporters state, while recorded sexual performances have been relatively protected, live performances are much less so. Compared with sexually explicit media, live sex shows have very little protection under the law, though the Supreme Court in Oregon did overturn two state laws concerning sex shows on free speech and expression grounds in 2005 . The turning point in the porn and prostitution debate occurred in the 1980 s in California. Prosecutors argued that an adult film producer named Harold Freeman was guilty of pimping because he had hired five women to perform sex acts for a movie called Caught from Behind II. ... It dives into the legal battle between the two campaigns as the recount of Florida s votes kept the nation waiting for over a month. Although the movie shows both sides of the story, I believe the Democrats supported the making of this movie. During the movie they made it seem like the Democrats were being treated unfairly but really the government was just following the rules. Today it is still a controversial topic, I believe the government handled it the right way and that if it was to happen again, the same outcome would happen. This butterfly ballot caused confusion to many voters, and quickly after they voted many had called in saying the voted for the wrong person. The reason given for the design was that they felt the people wouldn t be able to read the font if they put all the candidates on the same side of the ballot. Although the set up may have been confusing it is your job as a voter to pay attention to what you are doing while voting. A hanging chad is the piece of paper left hanging from a punch card ballot when the punch is incomplete. A bulging chad is still attached to the hole on both sides. During the 2000 election chads were a very big deal. During the recount it was a big decision whether or not to count a vote that didn t go all the way through even if you could tell where their intended vote was heading. In my opinion they should not count the vote if it did not go all the way through, again it is your job as a voter to make your vote obvious. The Florida Recount Law states that, the close vote margin for Florida elections is 0.5% of the total votes cast for a given office or measure. The law specifies that candidates, including candidates for retention to a judicial office, and ballot measures are all subject to recounts. Both primary and general elections are eligible for recounts. The apparent losing candidate by this margin can waive the recount if such a request is made in ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

First, the products developed by the company are high value tea sets items, thus the necessity to maintain a standard performance to produce a product without any defect. One cause of the problem is that there is no specific definition of defect in the entire process. Many citizens would find it hard to get an ID or even if it is free because in order to obtain a free identification, those people still would have to submit some sorts of required papers, like birth certificate, passport or naturalization paper to get a free ID. The cheapest option that is available would be a birth certificate, which would cost about $22. It is particularly true in Vietnam where men who can not be regarded as a mature person until he gets his first baby, even though they might have already got a well paid job and married a good woman. In my opinion, having the first child is the most important event marking the maturity of a people in both financial and spiritual terms. Vietnam, where the subjects witness low divorcing rate due to the strong sense of individual responsibility, could be taken as an salient example of this. Ignoring the contribution of the baby in growing up a mature person is thereby a grave mistake. What is also worth noticing is that spiritual maturity is greatly fostered through educating children. It is undeniable that the prerequisite for adults to encourage children moral awareness development is being the paragon of virtue. As a result, they always self consciously conduct themself in parental position, which means the childish spontaneity in their speech and action yields to mature deliberation. In addition, having a kid, people profoundly penetrate the moral lessons in the university. These lessons, which took them a long time to learn by rote, now become a useful tool for them to teach etiquette to their child. In this case, parents put themselves at the place of teacher to thoroughly understand moral philosophy and deliver it in the simplest word which is suitable for an innocent thought. Consequently, practice ethical thought everyday will lead parents to higher level of maturity. When turning 16 years old is when most people begin driving, but keeping the driving age at 16 causes accidents and deaths, rather than raising the driving age and making the road a safer place. If a parent had a choice between their child dying or having an inconvenience of driving them around, hopefully, they would choose having an inconvenience. Imagine a teen is driving with other underage teens in the car 20 to 30 miles per hour over the speed limit. Teenage brain development is at a vulnerable state and is not fully developed causing poor judgment and bad decisions. New findings from brain researchers at the National Institutes of Health explain that the part of the teenage brain called the dorsolateral prefrontal cortex is the part that weighs risks, makes judgments, and controls impulsive behavior (Davis). David Guetta is able to enhance the lyrics of this song by including several loud breaks within this song. During these breaks, Ratliff describes how the loud bass drum beats away all the white noise. I found it interesting how uncomfortable the white noise sounded, and I think the song would sound terrible if this loud bass drum was taken out. Additionally, I think that if the bass drum was taken out, the song would not contain such a double meaning. This gives the beat more pull whenever the snare beat finally comes around, as opposed to the snare being hit on the second and fourth beat. Furthermore, the castanets played throughout this song sound very Latin. In our age of electronic music, we typically use other electronic sounds in the background take the place of castanets.
