3.  There are three major enzymatic control
points within the glycolytic pathway
 These include hexokinase,
phosphofructokinase and pyruvate kinase

4. Inhibitor : Glucose-6-phosphate
Activator : ADP,AMP

5. Inhibitor- ATP,Citrate
Activator- AMP,
Fructose2,6-bisphosphate

6. Inhibitor : ATP, Acetyl CoA, Alanine
Activator : AMP

7.  It is a respiratory pathway occuring only in
mitochondria of some plants .
 This mechanism is not found in animals.
 The respiration resistant to cyanide is
connected with the presence in the respiratory
chain of an additional terminal oxidase(AOX)

10. Cyanide resistant respiration refers to the ability
of certain organisms to survive in environments
containing cyanide. This resistance in often
attributed to alternative oxidases , an enzymes
that bypass the cyanide sensitive step of the
electron transport chain . By maintaining
respiration in cyanide –rich environments, these
organisms can continue to generate energy and
survive.
