genocide taking place killing thousands and thousands of people there was not a single country that
chose to stand up and help. Either by providing soldiers that were needed to protect the people or by
providing resources like food, water, health, shelter or sanitation that was needed by the Rwandan
citizens. The U.N. even did not help and didn t even take a stand against the governments of the other

Recent years have seen the rapid development of indexing investment. As an increasing number of
investors have been aware of the superior returns of the alternative strategies, many new smart betas
are created. This paper uses the 30 stocks from Dow Jones Industrial Average Index to build seven
portfolios. One of the portfolios is based on traditional market capitalization which is regarded as the
benchmark, the other six portfolios are all based on alternative strategies.
The objective of this paper is to compare the performance of cap weighted portfolio with non cap
weighted portfolio and an in depth analysis will be presented in the light of identifying the source of
the performance of each portfolio using the Fama French model.

I Had Always Considered Myself A Writer Essay
I had always considered myself a writer. I had always found comfort in identifying with the title of
writer. I had the cliché I was born a writer stories to back up this self given idealistic position. I was
drawing full length picture books at the age of three, before I even knew how to string together a
coherent sentence in the written word. By five, I had no trouble whipping out a thrilling (maybe for a
kindergartener) story that I begged my grandma to type up for me, considering I was not yet equipped
with the skills that I needed to pen a novel by hand. Throughout, the rest of my schooling, I excelled
in anything that required using the English language, particularly when it came to essays or reading
comprehension assessments. It was these experiences that I used to internally quell the uneasy feelings
that arose when people asked me what my hobbies were and I told them I m a writer. I was uneasy,
undoubtedly due to the fact that I had not actually written anything of actual significance outside of
the classroom since I was very (very) young. Once I reached college, it became clear that how I

There were a fair number of interesting topics in this Political Science 2 class session of the Fall 2016
semester. A few that stood out to me, personally, were the topics of laissez faire economics, separate
but equal issues, and the viewpoints of the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001. From the tenth edition
of the course book We the People, Texas Ed. by Benjamin Ginsberg and Unit 2 of the lecture; a policy
developed by the efforts of the late philosopher and economist, Adam Smith, laissez faire economics
essentially means that the government should play a basal role in government. Also from the same
book and in Unit 1 of the lecture; the topic of separate but equal was discussed. This notion dictates
that African Americans be treated equally by being allowed to exercise fundamental rights as human
beings, but still must use separate facilities. This mandate came from the case now known as Plessy
vs. Ferguson in which an African American challenged the Jim Crow laws that were set within the
