 Soporte vital cardíaco avanzado (SVCA) con
control definitivo de la vía aérea y el ritmo:
1. Mejoramiento de la función cardiopulmonar y
perfusión de órganos vitales.
2. Transferencia al hospital o unidad de cuidados
intensivos apropiado que disponga de un
sistema de tratamiento postparo.
3. Diagnóstico y tratamiento de los SCA y otras
causas reversibles.
4. Control de la temperatura para optimizar la
recuperación neurológica.
5. Anticipación, tratamiento y prevención de
disfunción multiorganica, evitar la
hiperventilación y la hiperoxia.
