Tink Accomplishments
Tink is slowly becoming one of the most talked about up and coming artists in the music industry.
Tink got her first taste of stardom when her rendition of Rick Ross Movin Bass made its rounds on the
Internet; thanks in part to Timbaland drooping it online. While the record may have gained Tink a lot
of recognition, Ross wasn t too happy about the rapper recreating her song. I took it for what it was.
The song never really got put out the proper way, but at the same time, for people to hear me next to
Jay and Ross, helped me gain a lot of respect, Tink told MTV News. The rapper added, If I run into
Ross, and if you re listening, and you need help making another smash, I m still here. I m open. Since
the online premiere of Movin Bass, Tink has dropped several mixtapes including Winter s Diary and

know that he s worked with some of the greats, so it s just motivation. I feel inspired when we re in
the booth together. Tink stated she was really nervous when she flew to Los Angeles to meet the super
producer for the first time because she thought he would have an enormous ego. I was nervous as hell.
I m thinking about everything Timbaland has done, and who he has worked with. I thought he was
gonna be Hollywood, Tink revealed to MTV. The rapper added, I didn t know if he would like what I

The Effect Of Prostaglandins On The Inflammation Pathway...
The role of prostaglandins in the inflammation pathway and the mechanism of action of NSAIDs
Student ID: 51555517 Date: 11 11 2015
Inflammation is a defense reaction, whereby harmful factors are removed and tissue structure and
function are restored. During the acute phase of inflammation, first neutrophils will arrive, followed
by monocytes. The monocytes mature into inflammatory macrophages and will finally affect the
function of the resident tissue macrophages [Figure 1]. These responses lead to swelling, redness, heat
and often pain. Once the first stimulus is removed, the reaction will stop and the inflammatory cells
will be returned to pre inflammatory numbers. Prostaglandins play an important role in immune
reactions and are therefore often targeted by anti inflammatory drugs, such as non steroid anti
inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). The specific role of prostaglandins and the mechanism of action of
NSAIDs will be discussed (Ricciotti; FitzGerald, 2011). Figure 1. Basic diagram of acute
inflammation (Reilkoff; Bucala et al., 2011)
Prostaglandins in general
Prostaglandins are formed when arachidonic acid is released from the plasma membrane by
phospholipases [Figure 2]. This acid is metabolized by PGG/H synthase or cyclooxygenase (COX).
The four main bioactive prostaglandins are generated in vivo: prostaglandin E2 (PGE2), prostacyclin
(PGI2), prostaglandin D2 (PGD2) and prostaglandin F2 (PGF2).

AR-15 Customization Choices
If you are the proud owner of an AR 15 then you need to ensure that you have all the accessories you
need to properly use and maintain your rifle. The AR 15 is a useful platform in that it has more
customization choices than pretty much any other rifle on the market today. The reason for all these
customization choices is that the AR 15 is probably the most widely available civilian rifle.
The AR 15 was developed originally for the military, and was sold by Colt to the Army which
classified the rifle as the M 16. The M 16 saw extensive use in Vietnam. It had some issues which
were related to a lack of testing and after updating the rifle with a heavier barrel and a forward bolt
assist, the M 16 was renamed the M16A1. The M16A1 was able to

Alien Organicity In Alien
An Assessment of Organicity in Alien
Question: In Alien, is organicity portrayed as beauty or repulsiveness? In Alien, a film directed by
Ridley Scott in 1979, a crew boards the Nostromos to explore a distress signal. However, once an
alien is brought onboard, the crew struggles for their individual survival. There is a constant
juxtaposition between the organic and inorganic, and the organic is often heavily associated with the
abject, which entails messiness and even violence. Beauty refers to the visual aesthetics in the film, as
well as pure, inner qualities of an organism. Organicity is defined as organisms that appear in their
most raw form, are unaltered by social constructs, or has the ability to think. The main theme of the
abject is put in conversation with gender and technology in order to understand the complexity of both
beautiful and repulsive portrayals of organicity. Although organicity often has a repulsive connotation
in Alien, the instances in which they are beautiful teaches us to embrace the abject. The moments of
beauty found in organicity offers viewers an opportunity to change their perception of the abject.
Towards the end of the movie, when Ripley thought she was alone on the shuttle, she began taking off
her clothes. However, when she was surprised by the presence of the alien, she carefully slipped into a
spacesuit. The smooth texture and warm color of her skin are shown slowly and clearly in a close up
shot, and unlike the rest of the scene

NABR Publishing Ltd. Valuation Case
Submitted by:
XXX
MBA 680 Corporate Financial Theory
October 22, 2014
Valuation Methodology
The valuation of NABR Publishing Ltd encompassed an extensive amount of exercise, and the
valuation required taking into consideration various factors. The Discounted Cash Flow (DCF)
method was used to value the NABR Firm. The DCF Method utilizes the net present value of future
free cash flow projections and discounts the cash flow at a discount rate which was calculated using
two of three options. In turn, this was done using the Weighted Average Cost of Capital (WACC). The
motive for using WACC to get the discount rate is to ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Debt and Equity Valuation
This valuation of NABR was based on equity and debt resulting in the financial value of the firm, and
connects with the value of the firm s asset. By using the DCF method, the total fair market value of
the business entity is calculated by discounting future projected cash flows back to the date of
valuation. At the end of the projection period, a residual or terminal value is calculated and discounted
to its present value at the date of the valuation. The theory behind the discounted cash flow method is
that an entity s value is equal to its present value of its expected future cash flow. This method is
considered the most detailed analysis because it is thorough in nature and aids the owner to get a true
picture of the firm value. This consists of certain steps which involve developing a method to be used
to project future earnings of cash flow, a risk adjusted discount rate, discounting the projected cash
flow to the date of the valuation, and capitalizing the terminal year s projection into a residual value
using the discount rate less the growth rate. In this case, we estimated the growth rate of 2.3%, and the
summation of the present values of the discounted cash flows and terminal value.
This method is the most precise method in comparison to the Venture Capitalist method despite the
notion that there is an uncertainty of cash flow projections. Using WACC to calculate the discount rate
assisted in the calculation of the

Persuasive Essay On American Exceptionalism
American Exceptionalism is a term used to define the ideal that America is far superior to all other
countries. It has been used to justify unfair actions and used to cover up flaws. Children are taught
from a young age that America is the model country, and the people living there can do no wrong. In
school, each bad thing that America has done in history is skimmed over, yet the accomplishments and
victories are taught in great detail. For years, Americans have hid behind the phrase American
exceptionalism as a way to not only avoid taking responsibility for their actions but to not push
themselves to be better, as they already consider themselves perfect. The concept of this
exceptionalism impedes the progress and evolution of mankind as they give up caring and trying to
better themselves. The great diversion for every mistake America or an American has made is the
main use of this ideal. Instead of acknowledging the bad things that they have done, Americans push
their poor choices to the side and pretend that they do not know what they have done. Instead, they
focus on the small good things they have done and do not even try to right their wrongs. Using
American exceptionalism as an excuse takes away guilt helps hide flaws and make people feel better
about themselves. From The Madness of Donald Trump Matt Taibbi writes America, land of the mad
pig president. Shove that up your exceptionalism (Taibbi). Not only does he show both how insane
and comical America is, he

Sustainability. Sustainability Is A Concept To Meet The
Sustainability Sustainability is a concept to meet the needs of the future generation. Sustainability has
been developing through the concern of society to the economy and ecology. Sustainability is
important in the long run because we live depending on the natural resources that we have so in order
for us to have a better life. In our generation we are already experiencing global warming, ozone
depletion, greenhouse effect we have to prevent it because it is us who will suffer from the effect of
those problems. So we should start on solving these issues by minimizing the usage of natural
resources or we could replace it to be able for the next generation to have a resource to be use. It can

4. The natural capitalism idea is that business will have opportunities without limitations in the
resources. In order to be able to maintain its profit business should practice sustainability, to increase
the productivity, closed loop can also be applied and adopt zero waste in the industry to eliminate
waste and recognize natural resources.
5. Natural step aligns to stakeholders to understand the decisions and to be able to apply sustainability.
In order for the community and the organization to be successful there should be proper
implementation and right usage of the resources.
6. The approach of the natural step is to have sustained by creating different strategies in order to have
a healthy and to continue the process. There are four phases of the program: stakeholders should have
a common understanding and common decision to be able to meet sustainability,
7. Industrial ecology is considered as the science of sustainability. The concept of industrial ecology is
like ecosystem there should be no waste and the end of the one process should be the beginning of
another. So we should know how to replace by of what we use in because a natural resource has its
limitations.

Summary Of Herman Hesse s Demian
Herman Hesse s Demian emphasizes the importance of change and self discovery. Emil Sinclair, the
story s protagonist, experiences various adjustments, which in time influence his values and identity.
As the story develops, Sinclair acquaints himself to Max Demian, an intellectual being, who further
encourages him to acknowledge the human s definite capabilities. Through his interpretation of Cain,
Demian impacts the way in which Sinclair views the world. His understanding of the story contradicts
the standard Christian narrative. Seeing as his principal conflict revolves around the distinction of the
good and the bad, Sinclair continuously suppresses his feelings towards the controversial aspect of
things. Through this, one becomes aware of the depicted duality of Cain and Abel. Furthermore,
Sinclair progressively becomes intrigued with the world s divergence which is contradictory to
Christianity and its values. The incorporation of Cain and Abel is quite controversial, in terms of
society and its standards. All in all, Hesse impeccably interprets Cain s mark by bringing awareness to
the characters possessing alternate mindsets. This essay serves to address the interpretation of Cain s
mark, as Hesse demonstrates its existence through distinguishing individuals, and its effect on society.
Conforming with societal norms, the story s protagonist is patently characterized through his
innocence and his perception of the world. Due to its assurance of freedom and safety, Emil

Sexism in Susan Glaspell s A Jury of Her Peers Essay
In Susan Glaspell s A Jury of Her Peers, Minnie Foster is accused of killing her husband. This
accusation forces Mrs. Peters to choose between the law and her inner feelings. Her husband is the
sheriff of Dickenson County, Iowa. It has always been a small, quiet town where nothing really
happens. Mrs. Peters is faced with an internal struggle. On one side, she is married to the law and on
the other side she understands what Minnie has been through. Her husband used to mentally abuse her
to the point where she is now basically secluded from everyone and everything in the world. Mr. Hale
even makes the comment, Though I said at the same time that I didn t know as what his wife wanted
made much difference to John (260). The ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The worst part of it all is that she had a little pet bird that she treated like her own child and John
Wright has killed by wringing its neck. She has nothing to love or care for and definitely has no one to
love and care for her in the way she so desperately needs. When John Wright kills her only friend that
brings her happiness, her little bird, she has to kill him. Minnie always had friends and loved life until
this man kept her away from it. Minnie has every right in the world to kill her husband.
Glaspell also gives the impression that all men are jerks. For example, the men constantly make fun of
the women and put them down for everything they do or do not do. In the beginning of the story the
men complained of dirty towels when Minnie is in jail and has not even been home to clean up (264).
Even though many men may be like that, not all men are. These types of men are the ones who give
the rest of the gender a bad name. Glaspell was not at fault by making some men look bad, but she
could have put at least one man in the story who was kind and understanding. In the story, she makes
every man look like a jerk. By doing that, Glaspell basically says that is how all men are and that they
cannot and will not be sensitive or be able to understand women in any way, shape or form. She is
wrong. She does not give men enough credit. There are plenty of men who are sensitive and Glaspell
refuses to show that side of the male gender.

of immigrants migrate to the United States to provide themselves and their children a better life full of
freedom and rights never given to them before. The United States provides people with a job and
minimum wages which are a major factor for immigrants.

Although some Americans argue immigrants should not be allowed in the United States I disagree.
Immigrants should be permitted in the United States and deserve equality. Reforms of immigration
provide immigrants security and job opportunities. For example, the agricultural job opportunity,
benefits and security act are intended to provide a process for certain illegal workers to obtain
permanent status. Over the years, presidents develop new reforms for immigrants, which are
beneficial in several ways. During the year 2004 president George W. Bush started on a hopeful note
for U.S immigration advocates announcing his administration support. Part of his new reform includes
comprehensive immigration reform, including a guest worker program. Although many Americans
disagree with the new political reforms being introduced, presidential candidates agreed that legalizing
undocumented workers in the U.S was necessary. Continuing with George W. bush and his reforms, he
allowed an immigrant with job offers to enter The U.S temporarily. As long an immigrant is working
and is obeying all laws they are able to apply for residency. Although applying for residency is a long
process there are several of beneficial Factors. For example, a green card holder has the ability to

Golfer s Elbow Research Paper
Golfers Elbow, aka medial epicondylitis, is a pain or tenderness on the front side of your elbow. I
choose this injury because it is somewhat related with baseball since it can be caused by improper
swings or throws. There isn t much to know about Golfer s Elbow but here is a good overview of the
injury. Golfers Elbow usually only pertains to athletes or those who exercise poorly and has several
different causes. The main causes are from swinging a golf club or tennis racket, lifting weights, or
throwing anything from a baseball to a javelin. The pain usually comes from damage to the muscles
and tendons in your arm that are caused by overuse and exhaustion. The activities listed above are far
less likely to cause damage if you stretch and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
It can even cause stiffness in your elbow causing every move to hurt as well as making your hands and
grip strength weaker. Luckily, the pain of Golfer s Elbow will subside over the course of a few days
and you can get back to your everyday activities. Many home remedies for Golfer s Elbow include
having lots of rest, taking any pain medication like advil, and icing down the injured area throughout
the day. If pain persists even after four or so days it may be time to go see the doctor. Also, if your
elbow won t bend and you think there s something more going on, like a broken bone, consult your
doctor as soon as you possibly can. People of age forty or older or those who are obese or perform the
same action over and over for more than two hours a day are more prone to getting Golfer s Elbow. If
they don t get it treated properly it can lead to excruciating pain in the elbow region along with a
limited range of motion. Golfer s Elbow can last for months, or even years, even with proper treatment
so it s best to try and prevent it at all costs and to stop whatever you re doing with the first sign of

Prenatal And Postnatal Health Care
With complaints of inadequate maternity health care services in newspapers and social media on the
rise, the issue of Ireland s poor services for women before and after birth has become an important
topic. Some health care officials believe there are already safe and effective services and staffing
levels implemented in prenatal and postnatal health care. Even government officials feel that there is
an abundant amount of government assistance services available for prenatal and postnatal women.
These views are predominately based on the data that Ireland has one of the lowest maternal and
perinatal mortality rates in the world (Larkin et al. 98). In a newspaper article by Sinéad Redmond,
she points out that in March of 2014, figures revealed that not a single maternity hospital in the
Republic of Ireland had staffing levels of midwife to women ratios that [met] international safety
standards ( Ireland s Maternity Units ). In a study conducted by Larkin, Begley, and Davane, it was
also found that women often felt alone and unsupported, and Some women would not have another
baby due to their childbirth experiences (98). Women who wish to be pregnant in Ireland are unhappy
with their prenatal and postnatal experiences on the account of inadequate health care services,
including job and government assistance. I will argue that the government and health care system in
the Republic of Ireland should work together to solve these problems. The lack of attentiveness to

The belief that an education is valuable when it is used to serve your community was instilled in me at
a very young age. Growing up in a small village in Nigeria, West Africa, I was surrounded by an
African culture with a rural rustic lifestyle. I saw poverty, sickness, death and suffering on a daily
basis. I learned to build deep relationships with people of all age groups; from kids who were my

During these formative years, I learned and accepted hard work and determination as essential
components of life. Having to walk miles to my father s farm after school; planting and harvesting

and find it in her every day bearing. The spirits of the ancestors roam the earth and go back up to that

Thomas from the movie Smoke Signals tries very hard to remain connected with his Native American
Ancestors. Thomas likes to think of himself as a story teller like those of his ancestor tribes. He
spends his time telling people stories that are based on reality and fiction in order to create symbolism
and meaning to life. Arnold uses nature and its elements to describe many of his stories. An example
of this is when he describes himself and Victor as children of fire and ash. Like Silko, he uses
elements to describe where he came from. At times it seems as though Thomas does not really
understand his ancestry but continues to try and use their ways in his story telling.
Victor struggles to identify himself as a Native American. We see him describe what an Indian is
supposed to be like and it is loosely connected with his ancestry. Unlike the protagonist of the poem
he is unable to connect with the land and his ancestors. The protagonist mentions that the memory of

Comparison Between Night And Fog
In 1956, just a few years after the Holocaust came to an end, director Alain Resnais released the
documentary Nuit Et Brouillard meaning Night and Fog. The film is presented in both color and black
and white, and is narrated in French by Michael Bouquet. In the film, the abandoned grounds of Nazi
concentration camps Auschwitz and Majdanek are pictured. As images of the camps are shown, the
narrator describes one of the most devastating historical events in detail. Each element of the film
come together to create an incredibly raw and evocative portrayal of the atrocities that occurred during
the Holocaust. The director of Night and Fog, Alan Resnais, had a great interest in creating films that
were concerned with war. This interest may be due in part to his own involvement in the armed forces
when he was a young adult. This particular piece of his work was extremely successful, and it is
considered by many to be the most important film addressing the Holocaust. When compared to most
work centered around the Holocaust, Night and Fog is an incredibly honest depiction of the atrocities
that occurred.
Many creative elements that contribute to the overall impact of the film are incorporated in Night and

Causes Of False Confessions
This paper is to examine and identify the risk factors and reasons of false confessions and how social
reform can mitigate innocent individuals from being wrongfully convicted and incarcerated. There are
many reasons we will see that contribute to false confessions. Many people think there is no way they
would ever confess to something they did not do, especially if it is a serious crime. When in fact this
occurs all the time and has been happening for hundreds of years.
The results of a study show that nearly 3000 students or 14% reported to having been interrogated at a
police station. Of those students 58.2 % reported they had been interrogated only once, 19.6 % twice
13.7 % three to five times and 8.5 % six or more times. The study showed that males were
significantly more likely to report having ever been interrogated compared to females. Of all the
students that were interrogated 14.7 % reported to having made a false confession. 60.8 % made only
1 false confession, 18.9% made two false confessions, 9.2 % made three to five false confessions and
11.1 % reported six or more times. Males were significantly more likely to report making a false
confession over females. Also, the individuals in the younger group were more likely to report making
a false confession over the older group. The risk predictors of police interrogation and false
confessions show the strongest predictors were ADHD symptoms combined with the younger
classification.

How To Manage Iot And Byod Threats While Still Preserving
How to manage IoT and BYOD threats while still preserving productivity Sizing up the threat
Securing Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) Internet of Things (IoT) devices are currently two of the
most challenging areas of network security. BYOD has been a trend for a number years now, yet many
companies are still struggling to successfully secure these endpoint devices. Organizations are
grappling with different security approaches. While some organization have not taken steps to secure
these endpoints yet, other organizations have added Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM)
technologies such as Mobile Application Management (MAM), Mobile Device Management (MDM),
Mobile Content Management (MCM) and Mobile Information Management (MIM), or a ... Show

The network integration, and therefore the exposure, is much deeper than BYOD, and IoT devices
usually have very little security, and generally nothing close to enterprise grade security. The first
major IoT device attack shocked the industry in October of 2016, before IoT devices were really in the
enterprise space. An hacker launched an IoT DDoS attack on Dyn, using the Mirai virus to infect
vulnerable IoT home security devices and turned them into attack bots focused on the Dyn enterprise
network (for more information see our blog on this topic). This sent ripples of fear through
organizations that realized attackers could soon leverage enterprise IoT devices to attack internal
networks. To counter the threat IoT devices introduce, organizations need to secure all endpoints. This
white paper will explore endpoint security, and how the NAC solutions of yesterday have evolved into
broader Security Automation and Orchestration Solutions designed as a security integrator that
coordinates all endpoint visibility, control and automated response, which ensures secure enterprise
adoption of both IoT and BYOD devices. The Changing Landscape As organizations rapidly add IoT
and BYOD devices, it is critical to ensure this access does not compromise network security. In the
past, enterprise networks were self contained within

Chicago Race Riots 1919
The Aftermath By the end, thirty eight were dead (twenty three blacks, fifteen whites), five hundred
and thirty seven injured, and one thousand black families made homeless. Thousands and thousands
suffered from just one case. Many horrible things were done in the five months of rioting. If the police
arrested the white man from the beginning, those thirty eight people would be living today. Our
society saw nothing wrong in fighting for equal rights with violence. The entire U.S. society is part of
the blame for all the crucial events that occurred. After the riots of 1919 many of us learned from our
mistakes, but it can not be taken back. There was no need to have a separate group of white people and
a separate group of black people. We ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Although it is nothing like the riots in Chicago years ago, racism is still common. Racism can be
discreet, but hurtful. In the past few years, there have been many violent situations that have been
considered racism. The shooting of Michael Brown, which caused riots very similar to the ones in
Chicago. These riots that occurred in Missouri were scarily similar to the riots in the early 1900s. The
destruction not only caused physical pain, but emotional pain as well. These actions made African
Americans look like they did many years ago, and that is not the reality of the situation. This
particular shooting was not the first, and probably not the last, that was driven by racism, or is said to
be. Racism and segregation happen everyday. Is it ignored or simply overlooked because the
foundation of our country is built upon this. As much as America has grown in racism, such as having
an African American man as our president for many years now, there is still a lot of growing to be
done. We, the people of the United States, need to look back on these mistakes, and the mistakes of
others, and work to our best ability to change them and prevent them from ever happening again.
America has come such a grand distance, and still has a long journey

Paganism Vs Neopaganism
When people hear the word pagan some get scared but others are intrigued. Perhaps it was the time
period that people would born into weather it was a an accepted term or it was not. Weather it was
what type of paganism were people being drawn too. Paganism is envisioned from different
perspectives due to the effect of different time eras, the comparison of historical to neopaganism, and
the way that society views it.
Paganism is viewed in many different perspectives around the world. While some people highly
advocate that paganism is earthly based and life fulfilling, others believe that paganism is associated
with the devil and witchcraft. Harvey Graham states that Pagans are inspired in their quest to
understand and celebrate the natural world by a wide range of literature, including botanical treatises,
ancient epics, archaeological reports, and fantasy fiction. (par. 5). Pagans believe in life fulfillment,
they want to live their life to a full extent. They are very invested into themselves and to the ... Show

including Wiccans, have adopted the pentagram as a symbol. This symbol consists of a circle with a
five pointed star inside, with the tips of the points touching the circle (par. 11) This symbol can be
commonly connected to association with Satan. This symbol is one of the reasons why some people
are still against Wicca. Another concept that people are weary about is the fine line between sorcery
and witchcraft. Smith and Green says The lines separating witchcraft form sorcery are not clear from
one society to the next or from one observer to the next (1132 1133). Society does not fully understand

Similarities And Differences Of Philip II And King Philip...
There have been many absolute rulers throughout time that are quite different but also somewhat alike
in the way they ruled. An absolute ruler is someone who rules a country or kingdom by themselves.
There have been many different absolute rulers throughout time, such as Peter, Charles II, and the
most famous, Louis XIV. Another example of an absolute ruler was Philip II who ruled Spain from
1527 to 1598. His religion was Roman Catholicism who felt it was his duty to defend Catholicism.
Kim Jong Un is an absolute ruler of this time who began ruling in 2010 in North Korea. Kim himself

Because Spain needed money, Philip raised taxes on the Netherlands. He also tried to ruin
Protestantism. People were angry and came to Catholic churches to protest. Philip sent an army to
punish the mobs of people, which resulted in one thousand, five hundred Protestants murdered. In
addition, Philip was a ruler with great power that did what he had to for his country.
Present day ruler, Kim Jong Un is known for his cruel ways of ruling and his nuclear power. North
Korea has no religion, as it is discouraged. Because there is no religion, most citizens get into fights
about their ideas of religion. Other people are too afraid to talk about their religion and even pass it on
to their children because of what Kim Jong Un might do. Kim is known for executing people to get his
way. Since he came to power, he has ordered at least three hundred and forty people to death. One
hundred and forty of these people were apart of his government. Due to the executions, his people fear
him. On a different topic, North Korea is the 119th largest trading economy in the world, exporting

Single Methods That Enables Children To Read In Class
It is the responsibility of teachers to identify and employ teaching methods that enables students to
acquire ability to read in class. There is no single effective method that successfully works for all
children because of various reason. I agree with the International Reading Association statement states
that indeed, there is no single method or combination of different types of method that can teach all
the children successfully how to read (International Reading Association, 1999). Psychologically,
children are different, therefore, understand in a different manner (Richards Rodgers, 2014). For
instance, some of the children are able to understand better when teachers employ example and
drawings in class. Some have better listening ability while others understand better when they make
notes. Based on this difference, it is difficult to establish a combination of methods or single methods
that can effectively assist children how to read in class. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

The flower will be in bloom for longer than an hour, but the meaning behind that shows a bigger
picture in life s upsets. Often in life we have situations that gives us insights on better things in life
because they end on a bad note. Other times, we have situations in life that show us how to overcome
sadness in bad situations. In the line of goes down to day , I think that frost is speaking on the how a

Argentinian Artists; Julian Laffitte, Agustina Picasso, and Manuel Mendanha. They have created many
other similar types of art that is just as spectacular such as , but nothing caught my attention like Skull
4 . I chose this piece because it is not only beautiful from afar but also up close. Grupo Mondongo s
medium choice is quite new and their collage is quite extraordinary, its basically a sculpture of small
things that most people have likely seen, put together to make it look like a skull in a size of about 5
foot by 4 foot. The artist probably chose to make it a skull because Calavera is a sugar skull that is
eaten on days leading up to The Day of the Dead in most Latin American countries. The title of the
artwork is obviously shown in the sculpture, it shows a skull and has a picture of a skull. The
references to these sculptures has a lot of different historical paintings such as, The Last Supper , Lady
with an Ermine , The Great waves of Kanagawa and Michael Jackson and Bubbles. There are also
famous movies such as King Kong, Star Wars, and The Terminator. The first thing you notice about
sculpture is the texture of it, it feels smooth, like its made of a clay yet it has a lot of depth and value,
the skull itself isn t proportional since it is tilted to

between two genres: fantasy from fiction. He described how fantasy stimulates one s imagination,
which is more appealing, but fiction can just be a relatable story. In the same way, Books and movies
are very different entities. In the short parable Doubt, the readers are lured in to the possibility of a
scandalous relationship between a pastor and an alter boy. The readers curiosity is ignited because
they are not given all the details. Therefore, their mind wanders further than the plot to create a story

In fact, all the details within the play stimulated one s imagination to create something that was never
stated in writing. In no part of the play does it outright say that Father Flynn had any encounter with
the alter boys other than during basketball practice and his apparent close friendship with Donald
Muller. Yet, through the reader s imagination, they assume scandalous scenarios between the Donald
Muller and Father Flynn while still curious about what the truth is. The viewer was in constant doubt,
of both characters intentions and motives. The parable is filled with indirect notions, assumptions, and
gossiping. So why is this specific parable so entertaining? Its simple the reader used their imagination
to piece together a relationship that at multiple times in the play cause them to doubt their own beliefs
and consider the opposing possibilities. The play let you feel everything, know everything and live
vicariously through the characters. With the play, you can Sister Aloysius, Father Flynn, or even

more direct telling you what to see.

Yankee Stadium Economics
The rise in popularity of professional sports over the last century has brought financial gain and
stability to many facets of the economy. Whether it is a new franchise, stadium, or the signing of a big
name player, these activities bring attention to a region or group and influence often comes as a result
of that attention. Money brought into an area from ticket revenue, hotel bookings, merchandise sales,
and other businesses are impacted financially when a stadium is built. The economic influence a
stadium brings to a local economy is a positive one. Many factors come into play when anticipating
the construction of a new stadium. Will the franchise be successful in the market? How will the
stadium impact traffic flow? How long will the project take? What is the total projected cost of the
project? All of these facts are greatly considered, and the pros and cons are assessed. After the initial

Essay On Minimum Driving Age
The use of cars are undeniably important in this fast paced world where everyone needs to quickly
reach their destinations. The government stated many regulations and laws to drive a car in order to
ensure a matter of safety for everyone. Driving a car requires responsibility and quick decision making
skills, especially on a busy road in a city. On average, the minimum driving age is sixteen years old in
the United States. There a various ways to reduce the risk of automobile accidents and prevent danger
for the driver and those around them. Raising the minimum driving age is the most logical route to
take.
There are many signs that point out the flaws of having the age of sixteen as the minimum age for
driving. The likelihood of an accident for teenagers is great because of the young driving age.
Insurance companies keep records on the possibilities that the driver will be in an accident. The
probability for young drivers are shown in the insurance rate in that age group between the ages of

The High School Dropout Rate
1. If society were to reduce the local high school dropout rate, then I believe that society could
progress rapidly with more skilled thinkers in the workforce. When a student drops out of high school,
he or she is far less likely to succeed. This is due to the fact that most, if not all, skilled jobs that earn a
decent living salary require a high school diploma at the very least. By decreasing the local high
school dropout rate, our society would be giving those would be dropouts an opportunity to succeed
and earn a higher position in society.
There is currently a decline in the high school dropout rate, however this decline is very slight and
would hardly be noticeable in the short term. The reasons as to why high school students ... Show

The current situation of high school students dropping out has been steadily declining since the early
1990 s. This could serve society very well if that trend continues to a point where dropping out of high
school become relatively unheard of. A social dysfunction of high school is that it creates a class
system between those with a high school diploma and those without one. The manifest function of
high school is to provide people with the skills and critical thinking ability to obtain some type base
level skilled work as well as provides a way to help keep kids safe and out of trouble. In contrast, a
high school dropout would have none of those functions and would likely not be employed in skilled
work and as a result might have to turn to criminal activities for an income.
I do not believe that there is any group that benefits from high school students dropping out. People
who drop out of high school will usually have to rely on government subsidies, which in turn will
burden the general population due to higher taxes. I believe that if the high school dropout rate were to
be less than one percent, then society would progress more rapidly due to more skilled thinkers in the
workforce. One of the ways that this could be done is by addressing what I believe to be the main
cause of dropping out which is a lack of academic support. If students who appeared to be struggling
were given more tutoring and after school educational programs, then they might not feel

Chivalry Research Paper
Chivalry as a necessary characteristic for Knights and brave men, heroes and aristocrats as depicted in
early British literature provided a philosophy around key mix of values to readers, students and

Code of Chivalry as per early British literature were meant to define as to obey set of rules to be

loyalty, devotion to duty, Protection of the weak, poor and needy as well as courtesy towards Women
being some of the major rules.
As centuries passed, meaning of Chivalry changed from Code of rules to simpler meanings and

E Books Vs. Books
E books are digital versions of traditional books which are available online and are
readable on other electronic devices or computers. While, traditional books are paper books
available at libraries or book stores. E books came into existence in 1930. The godfather of e
book was Bob Brown, who named it as Readies . According to Desiree Dreeuws, in the
1960s, computer scientists developed what were called hypertext editing and file retrieval
systems, which involved document hyperlinking and graphics. These systems are considered by
many to be the first e books. Since then there has been an immense growth in technology
world, which also boosted the usage of e books in the world. However, there has been still a
huge argument on why e books are better than the books and what makes them so different yet
very useful to humankind?
There are always questions leading to e books because of its rapid growth in a short time.
Technologies have a bright future and they are going to have growth in most aspects. According
to Stephen king, The future is going to be what the future is going to be. So no matter how
difficult it gets to switch from a book to an e book, people would have to do it to keep up with
the progressing world. Despite of this, many people from age group of 60s or above still choose
to read paper book, the traditional way. However, most of the youngsters and the elderly people

Stakeholder Salience
Introduction
Developing a relationship between and across organizations and its stakeholders can be
counterproductive and interdependent to decision making. Globalization effects stakeholder s coalition
building and salience in organizations. It is known as an ongoing process or interrelated events of
increasing movement of services, goods, and capital across national borders (Lawrence Weber 2011).

Implementing and integrating this action plan could lead to a social and economic benefit with their
mission, while collaborating and working together could potentially and successfully increase and
fulfill intended goals.
For example when a particular stakeholder group demand urgent attention to a specific issue, the
importance of the group creates managerial action and creates high salience, which takes a leading
role in decision making toward corporate goals and social responsibility (Mishra Suar, 2010).
Furthermore, in order to achieve established corporate goals, best practice mitigation depends on the
understanding and decision making of the demand and supply chain as well as the interests of the
stakeholders. The success of corporate mitigation relies on the balancing of the wants and needs of the
salience groups.
Globalization affected stakeholder coalition building
Globalization can affect stakeholder coalition building either negatively or positively. Caughlin noted
that the level of communication from the overall result of a stakeholder or group of stakeholder s
significantly influence the relative power and conviction for a particular outcome which will greatly
affect the costs of the decision making process as well as time (Caughlan, 2002). In building a

  • 2. Tink Accomplishments Tink is slowly becoming one of the most talked about up and coming artists in the music industry. Tink got her first taste of stardom when her rendition of Rick Ross Movin Bass made its rounds on the Internet; thanks in part to Timbaland drooping it online. While the record may have gained Tink a lot of recognition, Ross wasn t too happy about the rapper recreating her song. I took it for what it was. The song never really got put out the proper way, but at the same time, for people to hear me next to Jay and Ross, helped me gain a lot of respect, Tink told MTV News. The rapper added, If I run into Ross, and if you re listening, and you need help making another smash, I m still here. I m open. • 3. The Effect Of Prostaglandins On The Inflammation Pathway... The role of prostaglandins in the inflammation pathway and the mechanism of action of NSAIDs Student ID: 51555517 Date: 11 11 2015 Inflammation is a defense reaction, whereby harmful factors are removed and tissue structure and function are restored. During the acute phase of inflammation, first neutrophils will arrive, followed by monocytes. The monocytes mature into inflammatory macrophages and will finally affect the function of the resident tissue macrophages [Figure 1]. These responses lead to swelling, redness, heat and often pain. Once the first stimulus is removed, the reaction will stop and the inflammatory cells will be returned to pre inflammatory numbers. Prostaglandins play an important role in immune reactions and are therefore often targeted by anti inflammatory drugs, such as non steroid anti inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). The specific role of prostaglandins and the mechanism of action of NSAIDs will be discussed (Ricciotti; FitzGerald, 2011). Figure 1. Basic diagram of acute inflammation (Reilkoff; Bucala et al., 2011) Prostaglandins in general Prostaglandins are formed when arachidonic acid is released from the plasma membrane by phospholipases [Figure 2]. This acid is metabolized by PGG/H synthase or cyclooxygenase (COX). The four main bioactive prostaglandins are generated in vivo: prostaglandin E2 (PGE2), prostacyclin (PGI2), prostaglandin D2 (PGD2) and prostaglandin F2 (PGF2). ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 4. AR-15 Customization Choices If you are the proud owner of an AR 15 then you need to ensure that you have all the accessories you need to properly use and maintain your rifle. The AR 15 is a useful platform in that it has more customization choices than pretty much any other rifle on the market today. The reason for all these customization choices is that the AR 15 is probably the most widely available civilian rifle. The AR 15 was developed originally for the military, and was sold by Colt to the Army which classified the rifle as the M 16. The M 16 saw extensive use in Vietnam. It had some issues which were related to a lack of testing and after updating the rifle with a heavier barrel and a forward bolt assist, the M 16 was renamed the M16A1. The M16A1 was able to ... • 5. Alien Organicity In Alien An Assessment of Organicity in Alien Question: In Alien, is organicity portrayed as beauty or repulsiveness? In Alien, a film directed by Ridley Scott in 1979, a crew boards the Nostromos to explore a distress signal. However, once an alien is brought onboard, the crew struggles for their individual survival. There is a constant juxtaposition between the organic and inorganic, and the organic is often heavily associated with the abject, which entails messiness and even violence. Beauty refers to the visual aesthetics in the film, as well as pure, inner qualities of an organism. Organicity is defined as organisms that appear in their most raw form, are unaltered by social constructs, or has the ability to think. The main theme of the abject is put in conversation with gender and technology in order to understand the complexity of both beautiful and repulsive portrayals of organicity. Although organicity often has a repulsive connotation in Alien, the instances in which they are beautiful teaches us to embrace the abject. The moments of beauty found in organicity offers viewers an opportunity to change their perception of the abject. Towards the end of the movie, when Ripley thought she was alone on the shuttle, she began taking off her clothes. However, when she was surprised by the presence of the alien, she carefully slipped into a spacesuit. The smooth texture and warm color of her skin are shown slowly and clearly in a close up shot, and unlike the rest of the scene ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 6. Nabr Group Assignment: NABR Publishing Ltd. Valuation Case Submitted by: XXX MBA 680 Corporate Financial Theory October 22, 2014 Valuation Methodology The valuation of NABR Publishing Ltd encompassed an extensive amount of exercise, and the valuation required taking into consideration various factors. The Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) method was used to value the NABR Firm. The DCF Method utilizes the net present value of future free cash flow projections and discounts the cash flow at a discount rate which was calculated using two of three options. In turn, this was done using the Weighted Average Cost of Capital (WACC). The motive for using WACC to get the discount rate is to ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Debt and Equity Valuation This valuation of NABR was based on equity and debt resulting in the financial value of the firm, and connects with the value of the firm s asset. By using the DCF method, the total fair market value of the business entity is calculated by discounting future projected cash flows back to the date of valuation. At the end of the projection period, a residual or terminal value is calculated and discounted to its present value at the date of the valuation. The theory behind the discounted cash flow method is that an entity s value is equal to its present value of its expected future cash flow. This method is considered the most detailed analysis because it is thorough in nature and aids the owner to get a true picture of the firm value. This consists of certain steps which involve developing a method to be used to project future earnings of cash flow, a risk adjusted discount rate, discounting the projected cash flow to the date of the valuation, and capitalizing the terminal year s projection into a residual value using the discount rate less the growth rate. In this case, we estimated the growth rate of 2.3%, and the summation of the present values of the discounted cash flows and terminal value. This method is the most precise method in comparison to the Venture Capitalist method despite the notion that there is an uncertainty of cash flow projections. Using WACC to calculate the discount rate assisted in the calculation of the

  • 8. Persuasive Essay On American Exceptionalism American Exceptionalism is a term used to define the ideal that America is far superior to all other countries. It has been used to justify unfair actions and used to cover up flaws. Children are taught from a young age that America is the model country, and the people living there can do no wrong. In school, each bad thing that America has done in history is skimmed over, yet the accomplishments and victories are taught in great detail. For years, Americans have hid behind the phrase American exceptionalism as a way to not only avoid taking responsibility for their actions but to not push themselves to be better, as they already consider themselves perfect. The concept of this exceptionalism impedes the progress and evolution of mankind as they give up caring and trying to better themselves. The great diversion for every mistake America or an American has made is the main use of this ideal. Instead of acknowledging the bad things that they have done, Americans push their poor choices to the side and pretend that they do not know what they have done. Instead, they focus on the small good things they have done and do not even try to right their wrongs. Using American exceptionalism as an excuse takes away guilt helps hide flaws and make people feel better about themselves. From The Madness of Donald Trump Matt Taibbi writes America, land of the mad pig president. Shove that up your exceptionalism (Taibbi). • 10. Summary Of Herman Hesse s Demian Herman Hesse s Demian emphasizes the importance of change and self discovery. Emil Sinclair, the story s protagonist, experiences various adjustments, which in time influence his values and identity. As the story develops, Sinclair acquaints himself to Max Demian, an intellectual being, who further encourages him to acknowledge the human s definite capabilities. Through his interpretation of Cain, Demian impacts the way in which Sinclair views the world. His understanding of the story contradicts the standard Christian narrative. Seeing as his principal conflict revolves around the distinction of the good and the bad, Sinclair continuously suppresses his feelings towards the controversial aspect of things. Through this, one becomes aware of the depicted duality of Cain and Abel. Furthermore, Sinclair progressively becomes intrigued with the world s divergence which is contradictory to Christianity and its values. The incorporation of Cain and Abel is quite controversial, in terms of society and its standards. All in all, Hesse impeccably interprets Cain s mark by bringing awareness to the characters possessing alternate mindsets. This essay serves to address the interpretation of Cain s mark, as Hesse demonstrates its existence through distinguishing individuals, and its effect on society. Conforming with societal norms, the story s protagonist is patently characterized through his innocence and his perception of the world. Due to its assurance of freedom and safety, Emil ... • 11. Sexism in Susan Glaspell s A Jury of Her Peers Essay In Susan Glaspell s A Jury of Her Peers, Minnie Foster is accused of killing her husband. This accusation forces Mrs. Peters to choose between the law and her inner feelings. Her husband is the sheriff of Dickenson County, Iowa. It has always been a small, quiet town where nothing really happens. Mrs. Peters is faced with an internal struggle. On one side, she is married to the law and on the other side she understands what Minnie has been through. The worst part of it all is that she had a little pet bird that she treated like her own child and John Wright has killed by wringing its neck. She has nothing to love or care for and definitely has no one to love and care for her in the way she so desperately needs. When John Wright kills her only friend that brings her happiness, her little bird, she has to kill him. Minnie always had friends and loved life until this man kept her away from it. Minnie has every right in the world to kill her husband. Glaspell also gives the impression that all men are jerks. For example, the men constantly make fun of the women and put them down for everything they do or do not do. In the beginning of the story the men complained of dirty towels when Minnie is in jail and has not even been home to clean up (264). Even though many men may be like that, not all men are. These types of men are the ones who give the rest of the gender a bad name. Glaspell was not at fault by making some men look bad, but she could have put at least one man in the story who was kind and understanding. In the story, she makes every man look like a jerk. By doing that, Glaspell basically says that is how all men are and that they cannot and will not be sensitive or be able to understand women in any way, shape or form. She is wrong. She does not give men enough credit. There are plenty of men who are sensitive and Glaspell refuses to show that side of the male gender. Mrs. ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Undocumented Immigrants And The United States The land of opportunities is also known as the United States, which is a place of freedom when the Gonzales family leaves their home and everything else, to better their conditions. Fifty eight percent of immigrants migrate to the United States to provide themselves and their children a better life full of freedom and rights never given to them before. Over the years, presidents develop new reforms for immigrants, which are beneficial in several ways. During the year 2004 president George W. Although many Americans disagree with the new political reforms being introduced, presidential candidates agreed that legalizing undocumented workers in the U.S was necessary. Continuing with George W. bush and his reforms, he allowed an immigrant with job offers to enter The U.S temporarily. • 15. Prenatal And Postnatal Health Care With complaints of inadequate maternity health care services in newspapers and social media on the rise, the issue of Ireland s poor services for women before and after birth has become an important topic. Some health care officials believe there are already safe and effective services and staffing levels implemented in prenatal and postnatal health care. Even government officials feel that there is an abundant amount of government assistance services available for prenatal and postnatal women. These views are predominately based on the data that Ireland has one of the lowest maternal and perinatal mortality rates in the world (Larkin et al. 98). In a newspaper article by Sinéad Redmond, she points out that in March of 2014, figures revealed that not a single maternity hospital in the Republic of Ireland had staffing levels of midwife to women ratios that [met] international safety standards ( Ireland s Maternity Units ). In a study conducted by Larkin, Begley, and Davane, it was also found that women often felt alone and unsupported, and Some women would not have another baby due to their childbirth experiences (98). There are many reasons we will see that contribute to false confessions. Many people think there is no way they would ever confess to something they did not do, especially if it is a serious crime. When in fact this occurs all the time and has been happening for hundreds of years. The results of a study show that nearly 3000 students or 14% reported to having been interrogated at a police station. • 33. The High School Dropout Rate 1. If society were to reduce the local high school dropout rate, then I believe that society could progress rapidly with more skilled thinkers in the workforce. When a student drops out of high school, he or she is far less likely to succeed. This is due to the fact that most, if not all, skilled jobs that earn a decent living salary require a high school diploma at the very least. By decreasing the local high school dropout rate, our society would be giving those would be dropouts an opportunity to succeed and earn a higher position in society. There is currently a decline in the high school dropout rate, however this decline is very slight and would hardly be noticeable in the short term. The reasons as to why high school students ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The current situation of high school students dropping out has been steadily declining since the early 1990 s. This could serve society very well if that trend continues to a point where dropping out of high school become relatively unheard of. A social dysfunction of high school is that it creates a class system between those with a high school diploma and those without one. The manifest function of high school is to provide people with the skills and critical thinking ability to obtain some type base level skilled work as well as provides a way to help keep kids safe and out of trouble. In contrast, a high school dropout would have none of those functions and would likely not be employed in skilled work and as a result might have to turn to criminal activities for an income. I do not believe that there is any group that benefits from high school students dropping out. People who drop out of high school will usually have to rely on government subsidies, which in turn will burden the general population due to higher taxes. I believe that if the high school dropout rate were to be less than one percent, then society would progress more rapidly due to more skilled thinkers in the workforce. One of the ways that this could be done is by addressing what I believe to be the main cause of dropping out which is a lack of academic support. If students who appeared to be struggling were given more tutoring and after school educational programs, then they might not feel ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
