2. DIALECTICAL MATERIALISM
■ It is based on logical and scientific evidence
■ Dialectical materialism is a theory about
how societies developed and work and how
things evolved and changed over time
■ How we simple move briefly from early
humans as Hunter and gatherers,the advent
of agriculture, the rise of villages, town,
Cities, slave societies to feudalism and
capitalism and the predictions of socialist
society

4. ■ The basic idea of dialectic was put
forward by hegal
■ According to hegal, idea is essence of
world
■ But for marx ,matter is essence of
world
■ Marx accepts this process of evolution
But do not accepts idealism concept
■ In hegal’s opinion idea is 1st because it
arises at 1st and matter is secondary

6. ■ Marx used dialectic as a process of
historical change in terms of stages,
contradictions in present stage lead
change in next stages
■ 3 laws by Friedrich Engels
1. Law of unity and conflict
2. Law of negation of negation
3. Law of transition from quality to
quantity
