The city of Pompano Beach, Florida contracted Avia Design Group to design, plan and help implement a city-wide wayfinding program to support the city's brand and to improve visitor navigation through the City and to its destinations.
The new program will help establish aesthetic features that celebrate Pompano Beach's unique sense of place and to enhance the region as a vibrant community and memorable destination.
Wayfinding guides people to and through environments combining traditional wayfinding devices with digital technologies. Our goal is to point people to destinations, elevate their place experience, enhance their sense of discovery and, just as importantly, support the brand.
Avia Design Group's approach to the development and management of successful wayfinding programs combines 3 decades of experience with current technological methods. We understand national and local compliance requirements and how to facilitate public consensus. We maintain strategic partnerships with digital developers, urban planners and fabricators.
