Electronic Equipment s And Energy Storage
ABSTRACT
We discussed the exciting materials nanotubes in this outline and the study being carried out on our
part. We discussed the materials that are suitable for manufacturing, their processing techniques and
exotic applications with supported few references. Here this abstract aims to define the basic principle
of nanotubes that is their definition, basic chemical and physical properties, their applications, their
fabrication process in details and their future prospect. Nanotubes hold the key in the next generation
of technological developments especially in case of electronic equipment s and energy storage.
INTRODUCTION
Nano is associated with anything in the dimensional range of nanometers (1/10^9 meter). A nanowire
is a long cylindrical specimen having diameter in the range of few nanometers with an unconstrained
length. Nanotubes are similarly hollow nanowires and consists of tubes of 1 atom wall thickness. As a
whole we work with material properties in bulk and the quantum effects of atoms were averaged out.
With nanotubes and nanowires we work with materials in single dimension and atoms start exerting
significant quantum effect on mechanical properties and a wide range of new properties and
applications are being discovered.
Carbon nanotubes (CNTs) are constructed with length to diameter ratio of up to (1.32 × 108):1, which
is significantly larger than any other material. The radius of nanotube is in the order of few
nanometres, while they can be up to 18

Play in childhood
Play What is play? Play is defined as engaging in activates for enjoyment recreation rather than a
serious practical purpose. Playing is a disorganized voluntary spontaneous activity, which may include
objects, one s body, symbol usage, and relationships. Play is flexible, individualize, grouped,
motivating, self directed, open ended, or self directed. (Smith, 2013) (Saskatchewan Ministry of
Education, 2010) While playing, children are gaining creative skills for creative development, which
enhances the ability of creativity, learning techniques, and academic success. The most important
development is cognitive. This development is vital for school success. Cognitive development
enables a child to solve problems, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Sensorimotor play, also know as functional play, involves repetitive use of reflexes, such as, swinging,
sliding, or playing on the merry go round This type of play can be observed on playgrounds. Dramatic
play is a type of symbolic play in which a child acts out an individual. When others engage in the
acting, it becomes sociodramatic play. Games with rules allow children to build social skills.
(Playground Professionals LLC, 2013)
Importance of play Why is play important? Erik Erikson third stage of psychosocial development,
initiative versus guilt emerges around 3 6 years of age. During this aggressive stage, children start to
take on life and exploring themselves. If a child has too much guilt in this stage, it can hinder the child
and slow down their social and creativity skills. Parents are to encourage the child, but give guilt as
well to establish their self control and conscience. (McLeod, 2013) Play is essential in child
development, because skills such as language, physical, emotional, social, literacy, creative, and
cognitive are developed. A variety of play, activities, and toys, require different words to describe the
play that is occurring, enhancing language development. Language development is important in
communication, language forms functions, intentional verbal interactions (asking and answering
questions), and playing with language (i.e., rhymes, jokes, riddles).

Who Is Friar Lawrence To Blame
Bittersweet Destinies Have you ever been blamed for something you didn t know would happen? The
play, Romeo and Juliet, was written by William Shakespeare. It was a tragic love story of two star
crossed lovers who struggled to keep their affair a secret from their families. I believe Friar Lawrence
is to blame for the death of Romeo and Juliet because of the ideas and advice he gives to them. If the
ideas of the Friar were more planned out and better thought out, the play could have ended happily,
but alas, it doesn t. Friar Lawrence is to blame because, he agrees to marry them, but this could lead to
their own destruction. Friar marries Romeo and Juliet because he wants the feud to end. He doesn t
say it specifically to anyone but the text ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Near the end of the play, Friar comes up with an idea to get Romeo and Juliet back together. With
Romeo being banished to Mantua, he writes him a letter to explain what will happen and where it will
take place. He then gives this letter to Friar John, who is supposed to deliver the letter, but it is later
found out that he was held in quarantine and was unable to deliver it. While this is taking place, Friar
Lawrence gives Juliet a vile and tells her to drink it, saying that it will put her in a death like state for
48 hours. Once she is found dead she will be laid in the family tomb. Once the 48 hours are up, she
will awaken and Romeo was supposed to come and take her somewhere safe where they can be
together. This plan backfired when Romeo didn t receive the Friar s letter and took matters into his
own hands when Balthazar tells him Juliet is dead. Because Balthazar believes Juliet is truly dead,
Romeo believes that this is the news that was supposed to come from the Friar. Romeo then paid for a
bottle of poison that he will drink when he lies next to Juliet. If Friar s plan would have succeeded,
they would be together and they could work out a plan to keep them both safe and end the family feud.
Because the plan backfired, both Romeo and Juliet end up dead at the end of the

Aladdin The Musical Reflection
The theater was largely attended by children and toddlers. To my surprise, I noticed that there were a
decent number of adults attending the show too. I was not sure if they were dragged into the show by
their own children or that they came to watch the performance willingly. Unfortunately, I was dragged
into the theater to watch Aladdin the Musical with my younger siblings during a family outing in
Disneyland. I tried my best to spot other adolescents in the theater. However, it felt like I was the only
one. Embarrassed, I sat in deeper into my seat, hoping that no adults could find and criticize me.
Aladdin the Musical uses the same plot from the movie, Aladdin as a foundation for their own plot.
The plot is about how a thief was destined to be the prince of Agrabah with the help of a powerful
genie and how an evil vizier named Jafar desired to take over the kingdom of Agrabah by abusing the
genie s powers. As the emcee made his announcements, I assumed that I would fall asleep on the
cushioned seat from all the boredom I would experience from a children s fairytale. Surprisingly, I
was wide awake throughout the entire show. In fact, I enjoyed the performance very much.
When the mammoth purple curtains were raised, my jaw dropped as I witnessed the props for the first
scene. In the first scene, there was a ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The flow of the scenes made the story understandable. However, the performance did not exactly
follow the same storyline as the movie. For example, Aladdin was actually sent to prison by Jafar and
he escaped it by using one of the genie s three wishes but the performance altered their story so they
need not to reenact that scene. I also believed that the performance could have had more backstory.
For example, the performance did not inform the audience that Princess Jasmine was fussy about
choosing her suitors and that Jafar was trying to court her so that he can take over the kingdom of

1. Define the terms finance and financial management, and identify the major sub areas of finance.
Finance is the way in which money is used and handled; especially, the way in which large amounts of
money are used and handled by governments and companies (Merriam Webster, 2014). Financial
Management is the planning, directing, monitoring, organizing, and controlling of the monetary
resources of an organization (Businessdictionary, 2014). The major sub areas of finance are:

An advantage are corporate shareholders cannot lose more money than they originally paid for their
share of stock. A disadvantage to being a corporation is that corporations are double taxed. Federal
and state government tax corporate income once at the corporate level, and then the shareholders pay
taxes again at the personal level. Hybrid Organizations promotes the growth of small businesses. An
advantage is that they offer single taxation and limited liability to all owners. A disadvantage is that
the owners bear personal liability for the firm s debt (Cornett, Adair, amp; Nofsinger, 2014). 3. Define
the terms agency relationship and agency problem, and list the three approaches to minimize the
conflict of interest resulting from the agency problem. Whenever one party hires someone else to work
for him or her that is an agency relationship. An agency problem is when the manager that is hired by
the firm to operate the firm spend company money to improve their own lifestyle instead of earning
more profits for shareholders (Cornett, Adair, amp; Nofsinger, 2014). The first approach is to ignore it,
of the amount of money involved is small enough relative to the firm s cash flow. The second
approach is to monitor the manager s actions. The final approach is to make the manager an owner.
Making the manager an equity stake in the firm. 4. Why is ethical behavior so important in the field of

Love Can t Be Prevented
What if you lived in a society where love is considered a disease? Lena and Alex live in a world where
the government sees love as illegal. People can get arrested for being in love, and even be executed for
it. The book that this society is in is called Delirium, by Lauren Oliver. Lena and Alex fall in love in
this dystopian society, and try to defy the government. They meet up secretly, and even try to escape
together. A message that I ve gotten from this is that love can t be restrained no matter what. Lena and
Alex fall in love in a society where it isn t allowed. Lena says, ¨The only word left there is yes. Yes to
everything. (pg.232) Lena says this when she falls in love with Alex. This supports my theme that love
can t be restrained because she lets herself fall in love with him when the government is strongly
against love and tells everyone it is a disease. No matter how much the government tries to stop it,
people will still fall in love. Love can t be restrained. Lena ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

Lena says to Alex, I want to run away with you. To the Wilds. Like we talked about. (pg.374) Lena
says this when she finds out that everyone lied to her about her mother killing herself because of love.
The truth was that she was imprisoned in the in the Crypts. Left to rot there just because she had the
disease. The reason this supports the claim is because she wants to escape because she s in love and
the government is holding them back. She wants to run away with Alex so they can be free forever. By
the end of the book, she thinks, Alex told me to run. And so I run. (pg.440) She thinks this when she
and Alex are running to the Wilds, and Alex helps her get past the fence and escape. However, this
happens with the price of Alex being taken away from the government. This shows that love can t be
restrained because Lena was so in love that she defied the government and

Love And Love In Chaucer s Troilus And Criseyde
This passage from Chaucer s Troilus and Criseyde comes from a scene towards the beginning of Book
Two where Criseyde and her uncle Pandarus are discussing love, specifically relation to Troilus s
desire for her. In these lines, the overbearing Pandarus gives a woeful Criseyde advice on what to do,
with Criseyde giving her reaction immediately after. With the format of the rhyme royal, Chaucer
creates new relationships between individual words, both in a sonic sense as well as a visual one with
the page itself. Through this, he presents the possibility of a tainted love, wrought with the pressures
from outside forces. In the first stanza, Criseyde seeks to put pressure on Pandarus s statements,
directly asking him what wolde ye devise? He recognizes the question and replies, stating Certein/
best is / That ye hym love ayeyn for his lovynge, / As love for love is skilful guerdonynge. Of
particular interest here is the rhyme between lovynge and guerdonynge, a product of the rhyme
scheme that characterizes rhyme royal. A normative conception of lovynge not subject to outside
pressures becomes intrinsically tied to the transactional guerdonynge. Considering that this statement
is coming from Pandarus, the question of intent seems to be important here. At this point in the text,
he is already actively assisting Troilus in wooing Criseyde, but in highlighting the sense of exchange,
he strips lovynge of any genuine sense, making an attempt to engender its

The Obstacle Of Organizing Government
The obstacle of organizing government around the environment is that, for the most part, society is too
focused on economic growth for the environment to take a precedent. And, as Leopold notes, land...is
still property (Leopold 218). The environment, or for Leopold the land, is not a global citizen in it of
itself. Rather, the land is merely a tool for the continued economic growth. Since land has limited legal
rights, Leopold sees that humans see no harm in exploiting the environment for capital gain. As such,
granting the environment legal protection would, as Leopold saw it, be a better means of conservation
efforts.
Leopold described a system of ethics that, when applied appropriately, apply to both man and land.
Despite defining an ethic as both a limitation on freedom off action in the struggle for existence and a
differentiation of social from anti social conduct, Leopold saw little difference between an ethological
the former and the philosophical the latter definitions of an ethic (Leopold 217 218). Both definitions
create a sense of cooperation between individuals. However, the issue for the human land relation is
that, currently, ethics is not being applied. The land relation is still strictly economic, entailing
privileges but not obligations (Leopold 218). As Leopold saw it, mankind understands the need for the
natural world, so there exists a limited sense of respect. However, unlike the ethics shared between
human beings, the rights of land are not

Periodontitis Research Paper
Introduction
Periodontitis is a gum disease that causes inflammation of the tissues that surround and anchor the
teeth to the bone. This inflammatory process is caused by plaque, a biofilm of bacteria, that originate
at the gingiva and extends into the connective tissue, alveolar bone and the outer surface of the roots
of the teeth. According to American Academy of Periodontology, there are several types of periodontal
disease which are identified based on the severity of the disease and the amount of damaged tissue that
s present at the time of the examination. Three major types are the Chronic Periodontitis, the
Aggressive Periodontitis and Necrotizing Periodontal Disease 1(194).
Causes and Symptoms

Periodontium is the structure that supports and holds a tooth in place, which consists of cementum, the
jaw bone, the periodontal membrane and the gingivae. When Porphyromonas gingivalis attaches to
salivary molecules, epithelial cells, matrix proteins, and teeth bacteria, it first colonizes the sub
gingival area and then extends deeper down to the root area. Binding of P.gingivalis to all those
substances is mediated by P. gingivalis fibrillin, the structural subunit of the major fimbriae. To grow
and reproduce, P.gingivalis requires hemin, the source of peptides and iron that are used by the
bacterium to produce five proteases and three hemagglutinins which are responsible for the
breakdown of the gingival tissue in periodontal disease. This produce inflammatory response which is
triggered by the host s immune response which in its turn leads to swelling of the gingivae and the
development of periodontal pockets around the tooth. After the pocket has been formed, more bacteria
enters these pockets causing more inflammation, periodontal abscess and bone eradication. if left
untreated, the tooth becomes loose and eventually falls out of its periodontal socket 3

African American Womanhood
African American women, often perceived as a sexual object or the Jezebel (the stereotype of white
man view of the black woman as loose and over sexed) have struggled to eliminate images that
promote sexual exploitation such as their promiscuity (showing off their breast, behind, legs, and
showing much of their skin on television, music videos and magazines) through the use of feminist
movements and the creation of the womanist movement. However, in modern day society, black
women have accepted these sexual ideas which were once considered to be dishonorable. The
acceptance of this image, a direct cause of social construction and suppressed oppression, has given
rise to a disturbed vision of black womanhood for years to come. Despite this, ... Show more content

While both Black and White women are subject to sexualized images, the white woman defines the
standard of the socially acceptable view of what it is to be a woman. Not being able to fit into that set
of stereotypes, Black women consequently become deemed as the other within their own gender. The
stereotypes formed for African American women were even more significantly derogatory than that of
the image of the submissive house slave. This ideology of the 19th century Eurocentric norm was to
objectify these woman as sexually promiscuous. By exaggerating their actions and portraying them
into a negative perception, these portrayals were designed to oppress these women and deem them
inferior to their female counterpart. Decades later, these images still have influence today in the
perceptions of the Black women and their bodies. A great example of this sexism and racism can be
seen in today s criticism about female sports athletes such as the six time U. S Open tennis champion
Serena Williams and her sister Venus. Both have been scrutinized and over sexualized and ridiculed by
today s media with remarks such as the sisters being too masculine , Gorilla like and Savage . She is

Pros And Cons Of Banning The Headscarf
Should the headscarf be banned? Recently there has been a push towards banning religious symbolism
from the media, especially the hijab. The hijab is a veil that Muslim women wear around their heads
to cover their hair and their bosoms; it symbolizes faith and modesty. Many people fear or in some
cases feel bad for people who wear the headscarf including niqabs and burqas because they are
uneducated and/or ignorant of Islamic teachings which lead them to create inaccurate assumptions and
accusations on the matter. Most may believe banning the headscarf will benefit the community in
ways that they believe will make people feel more comfortable and they also believe that it will
benefit the women who wear the hijab because of the belief that Muslim women who wear the
headscarf are oppressed, however, banning the headscarf would lead to the contradiction of Canadian
values, discrimination, and go against the religious beliefs of Muslims. The prohibition of the
headscarf would go against Canadian values. When Steven Harper was Prime Minister, he wanted to
ban the niqab, a cloth that covers the face, for citizens who work for the government and Around 82
percent of Canadians [supported] the niqab ban, ( Trudeau s Gutsy Post Victory Speech Shatters
Stereotypes ). Having most of the population supporting this decision is relatively disappointing
knowing it contradicts the significance of Canadian society, since Canada is acknowledged for its
multiculturalism and diversity.

Why the Caged Bird Sings. The autobiography describes how living in the south during the
Depression was a time for survival (Ball). The message of Graduation is the same; no matter what
obstacles arise she will survive. Angelou deserves an A for this essay because she has strong examples
of overcoming obstacles, sophisticated descriptions, and has a clear sense of purpose with strong
development. Angelou s example of overcoming adversity is the strongest at the end of the essay.
Something unrehearsed, unplanned, was going to happen, and we were going to be made to look bad

Angelou believes the speaker s words, and starts to doubt her hopes and dreams. The man s dead
words fell like bricks around the auditorium and too many settled in my belly (Angelou 28). As Henry
Reed starts to sing the Negro national anthem, Angelou finally senses that the words do have meaning

Genetically Modifying for Smarter Living Things
GENETICALLY MODIFYING FOR SMARTER LIVING THINGS Scientific research holds vast
propensities for advancement. Recently, the genetic modification of organisms has been a topic for
debate among professionals and the general public alike. For instance, some value the benefits of
modifying foods to contain greater nutritional benefits, yield larger crop sizes, and have resistance to
many diseases. Alternatively, others fear the undetermined risks for consuming scientifically altered
organisms long term, and deem the act of tampering with the makeup of living things unethical. Even
more controversial, is the modern idea of using genetic modification techniques to create smarter
organisms, largely, humans. Advances in scientific research particularly in the field of neuroscience
make this argument not only possible, but entirely plausible and more attainable than ever before.
Thus, it is important to become educated on the topic and explore both sides of the argument prior to
making this prospect a reality. This paper argues that it is beneficial for researchers to generate smarter
living organisms through genetic modification based on the biological, social, and ethical benefits that
arise from the act.
Although there are many factors that influence an individual s ability to learn, the most biological

Camille Yang Mr. Engle English 3 20 April 2017 Distortion of the American Dream in The Great
Gatsby The novel The Great Gatsby by Fitzgerald is a tragedy. It tells the story of Jay Gatsby, who
was pursuing his love and the American Dream, finally reunited with his first love, Daisy Buchanan
and was hoping to be with her once again. However, the harsh reality made his misty dream come to
an end. Through analyzing Gatsby s lifestyle, his obsession of Daisy, and his social status, the essay is
going to reveal that the American Dream which once has brought opportunities and wealth to the

Sigmund Freud And Freud s Theory Of The Unconscious Mind...
A twenty one year old woman by the name of Anna O that was caring for her ailing father began to
experience severe debilitating physical and psychological symptoms. During this period, most
psychoses were labeled as hysteria. Anna O began to hallucinate, experience paralysis, and have an
extreme aversion to food and drink. She underwent treatment with Dr. Breuer (Oxford Journals,
2005). When Dr. Breuer treated Anna O for her hysteria and her mental and physical symptoms he
discovered that as she began to talk of hidden thought processes about her experiences during their
discussions, whether through hypnosis or while conscious, certain symptoms would disappear (Oxford
Journals, 2005). Dr. Breuer discussed Anna O s case with Sigmund Freud and Freud later perfected
this talking cure. Also known as sweeping the chimney or sweeping the mind. Sigmund Freud s theory
of the unconscious mind claimed that people experience hysteria or other reactions in response to
repressed experiences. The unconscious contains all those drives, urges, or instincts that are beyond
our awareness but that nevertheless motivate most of our words, feelings, and actions (Feist Feist,
2008). Freud and his theory are responsible for the birth of what is known today as psychoanalysis and
Freud is considered the founding father of psychoanalysis. In treating Anna O, Freud would examine

Essay on Consumerism Taking Over Our Universities
In contemporary society, the average person is coddled and raised to be sensitive about everything
whether it be good or bad. This translates over to universities, which causes them to be less academic
and more consumer based. As the years progress, the trend is becoming more prevailing which poses
the question, do universities truly care about the education that they are providing, or is it turning
more into a business? Although some consumerism in education is good and is a driving force to
better institutions, too much like we have in it now is beginning to deteriorate the quality of the
education provided and in turn weakening American society. Consumerism is becoming more

Grade Inflation in the College Classroom, students are not studying as much as students in the past

Creation myth on page 19 to 20 in Fiero s The Humanistic Tradition, Book 1. The Song of Creation
from the Rig Veda on page 15 originates from India. Meanwhile The Babylonian Creation myth on
page 19 to 20 originated from Babylon. The main differences between these two creation myths is that
the first creation myth is based on the importance of water as the necessary requirement for the
beginning of life. For example, in the Rig Veda, the creation of the world was stated to come from a

The primary source narrates about how back then before the universe was created, there was no
existence, no death or immortality (Fiero 15). It also raises questions about the creation of the universe
such as What covered it? Where was it? In whose keeping? (Fiero 15). These shows the uncertainty of
how the universe came to be. Meanwhile in The Babylonian Creation myth, it narrates or tells the
story about not only how the universe was created, but also how the gods entered the world, how the
earth came to be, as well as the creation of Babylon and humans (Fiero 19). In the first myth, the
universe was created when That One which came to be enclosed in nothing, arose at last, born of the
power of heat (Fiero 15). In my opinion, one canthink that back in the time, the people who created
this myth believed in a geocentric view of the universe where Earth was in the center. And that that
One came to be the sun which gave light to the world and allowed the prospering of plants and life.
Some imagery found in this primary source were darkness wrapped in darkness , only illumined water
cosmic waters, in depths unfathomed, (Fiero 15). These forms of imagery depicts or describes what
the universe was like before the that One arose. The order of creation in this myth seems to be that of
the One being in the empty universe before anything else and then when that One arose, he or she
brought heat as well as light in the world which most likely led to the beginning of light in the world
leading to life. In this creation myth, one can feel like the One is the universe or the creation because
according to lines 23, it states The gods themselves are later than creation (Fiero 15). So one can feel
like the universe created the gods not the other way around. In the text, life began with the arrival

New Evidence Of Herihor s Northern Political Expansion As...
New evidence of Herihor`s Northern political Expansion as a king
Ahmed A. Faraman
Abstract
The relevant paper presents a detailed study of a remarkable scene belonging to Herihor as a king. The
scene is situated on the eastern inner wall of the court of the temple of Khonsu at Karnak. The scene,
with a preliminary iconography characterization and translation of the accompanying texts, has been
published previously. But still offers possibilities for additional analysis. The contents offer a great
variety of novel queries; among which one concerns Herihor`s relationship with Hathor of Dendera,
based on the iconographic detail representing the king receiving his regal epithets incised inside
cartouches. The study examines the relationship between the king and goddess, and includes a
discussion of the titles in the Hb sed symbol surmounted by the crown of Upper Egypt. The present
study, throughout the significance of the symbolism expressed by the scene, arrives at the conclusions
of a clear geographical boundary; that Herihor, as a king, exerted control at least as far north as the
region of Iwnt (Dendera). Introduction
The rise of Herihor as a King is an expected result of precedent introductions. Towards the end of the
Twentieth Dynasty, specifically during the reign of Ramses XI, royal authority was faded and forced
to definitely bow before the increasing influence and power of the ambitious high priests of Amon in
Thebes. This was inevitable consequence resulting

Home Owners Loan Corporation (HOLC) and Fair Housing Administration (FHA) are the roots to

Melba integrated a white high school in order to get rid of racism. Nelson Mandela joined South

just can t stand to see them being tortured like this. Josephson says, The next night, the marchers slept

The Party System, Republican Vs. Federalist
Final Exam Part 2 _QC There are several reasons why the two party system, Republican vs.
Federalist, worked so well in the 1790 s. First, when the political parties emerged in the 1790 s it was
evident that their ideologies were vastly different. The Republican Party wanted a representative form
of government that functioned in the interest of the people. This party, led by Thomas Jefferson,
supported a limited central government, with individual states retaining a majority of the control.
Jefferson s vision was for a nation of farmers, and farmers do not need big government to survive.
They feared a large central government would take away the rights of the people. On the other hand,
the Federalist Party, led by Alexander Hamilton, supported a strong central government that would
pursue policies in support of economic growth, which in turn would provide the freedom the people
wanted. Hamilton s followers also supported a diverse economy.1 It is important to note here however,
that both parties knew they would have to become national parties in order to win any elections and
both parties had followers in the north and in the south. There was no sectional divide in the parties.
Second, the Constitution played an important role in the why the two party system worked so well
during this period. The Constitution created a system of government, which distributed power across
three levels of government, so that no one political body had ultimate power. The people

Anna Dvorak (American film actress) says: He succeeded in creating a poster so different from others
on the billboards, both in design and colouring, that from the beginning he was considered not a

Mucha chose an extremely elongated shape, and in contrast to other poster designers he used very pale
colours whites, beiges, mauves, dull purples, reds and greens, with decorative touches of gold and
silver. His unusual posters were uniquely appropriate to the famous actress of whom Charles Hiatt
wrote that she had the ability to touch even a classical French drama with the oriental, the strange and
the exotic. [6] His attention to detail, colour patterns and fearlessly trying new techniques, new styles
has made him successful and noticed.
The amazing success of this poster led to long term contact with Bernhardt. He produced posters,
costume designs, jewellery and set designs and his fame brought in an enormous number of
commissions. The graphic lines seen in the Art Nouveau were an expression of a new graphic style.
Modern promotional advertising just had a beginning of poster design. Hand lettering styles were

chemical is dopamine. It is a primary neurotransmitter associated with serotonin, oxytocin, and
endorphins. A great amount of information on dopamine has been studied by researchers, yet there is
still so much to learn. This paper will discuss the function, location, and diseases accredited to
dopamine.
Functions
Dopamine is a neurotransmitter or chemical messenger of the brain. Its main responsibility is to send
messages to the central nervous system by allowing information to pass from one neuron to the next.
Its influences range from a wide variety of different roles and has a major effect on the brain.

occur when the dopamine levels in the brain are imbalanced. Schizophrenia occurs when a person s

bipolar disorder. Treatment usually includes a medication with a dopamine inhibitor, which limits the
pace of dopamine transferring from one neuron to another. On the opposite end of the spectrum,
diseases such as ADHD and depression are associated with lack of dopamine production (Alban
2017). Parkinson s is caused by the degeneration of the parts of the brain that manufacturer s

Function Of The Heart And The Structure Of Arteries, Veins...
Explain the function of the heart and the structure of arteries, veins and capillaries.
Referring to Louise Tucker 5th edition, the heart is an organ that pumps blood through the body via
the circulatory system, supplying nutrients and oxygen to the tissues and removing carbon dioxide and
other waste products.
According to Louise Tucker arteries are thick walled, hollow tubes with a fibrous outer covering, a
middle layer of muscle and elastic tissue.
The functions of arteries are:
Carry oxygenated blood away from the heart to the rest of the body
Transport nutrients e.g. iron, zinc
Main artery is the aorta
Structure:
Lumen, small passage
Thick, muscular and elastic walls
Veins have three layered walls, their walls are much thinner, not muscular or elastic and the lumen is
much larger compared to arteries. Veins have valves which prevents the back flow of blood.
Vein function:
Carry deoxygenated blood from the body
Transport blood to the heart
Deoxygenated blood contains a high concentration of waste products
Capillaries are the smallest blood vessels.
They have a thin wall
They are porous allowing oxygen to pass through
They allow the flow of gases and nutrients e.g. sodium, potassium
They have a large amount of water
Blood is brick red, it carries oxygen and carbon dioxide

Political Science And Its Influence On The Country s...
Introduction
Political Science teaches us about how political power is dispersed, how different governments
operate and interact, how rules are made and enforced. We will come to know both the who of
politics, such as international organizations, politicians, and the public, and the how , such as political
institutions, elections, and public administration. Politics have its essence in every aspect of our lives,
including the availability of education, jobs, housing and healthcare. Whatever government does and
whoever supports the government everything have its influence on the country s current situation
whether to be in war or in peace. Political science is the study of a wide range of political knowledge,
events, actions, and institutions. We all take part in politics, though most of the time we do so
unknowingly. Politics is not only about simply voting in an election or working in government. When
we read or listen to news, make donations to aid groups, or talk with friends and family about social
issues and values are some of the examples of political activity in our everyday lives.
Political Science is concerned with the many institutions, organizations and norms that determine how
people apperceive society, and in turn, how they interact within it. In Political Science, multiple issue
can come for discussion like Power or it can be democracy or government as well, in order to aware
us about our surroundings, and our place in it. When we acquire enough knowledge

Dorothea Lange And The Migrant Woman
During the first half of the 20th century, Photographs, songs, and cartoons tried to interpret the
problems of the time through different kinds of imagery and tone with varying amounts of success,
from praise and awe to disgust and rejection.
In the early 20th century, Americans were suffering from the Great Depression and its high
unemployment rates, droughts and terrible living conditions, so when they first saw the series of
photographs by Dorothea Lange, including the Migrant Mother, they were in awe of how it captured
their situation, as well as their beliefs, perfectly. Not only did they represent the people as dignified
human beings whose plight would elicit sympathy, not ridicule, Lange s photos captured the idea that
Poverty was a distressing matter..., not an embarrassing one, simply by photographing people on the
streets they were living on, filming them in their element. People were in pain and just by taking
photos of this problem, with some modifications and positioning, Lange s art became a tireless and
universal symbol of suffering in the face of adversity with its portrayal of regular people in dire
situations. What also made the photos as popular as it was, and still is, is how they reference
fundamental and historic religious symbolism, especially the Migrant Mother whose imagery of a
woman tirelessly caring for her children alludes to the similar historical representations of Madonna
and her child, Jesus Christ. While beloved for the realism of her

Carnegie, the Selfish Philanthropist
Andrew Carnegie, The Selfish Philanthropist
Andrew Carnegie, born on November 25, 1835, was a Scottish philanthropist who was one of the
richest men in America in the 1900 s. I completely agree with Carnegie s opinion of how the rich
should donate their money toward the good of mankind before they die, but disagree with his actions
toward his workers . He started working in a cotton mill making $1.20 a week only to upgrade to
$2.20 working as a messenger boy. He eventually taught himself telegraphy and worked as Thomas A.
Scott s assistant for $35 a month. He moved on to investing, with the help from his mentor Scott, in

This also prevents the family member or the heirs of the inheritance to be spoiled. Carnegie had a
great point for doing this. For some strange reason, Carnegie cut the wages of his steel workers while
at the same time putting money toward public programs that would benefit mankind. He even stated
that he could put more use of that money than the workers ever could, which is ridiculously egotistical
and rude. By not giving his workers a fair wage, he was hurting the economy. Our economy is based
off of consumers spending their money. In my honest opinion, I think Carnegie is a selfish attention
seeking mastermind. He seems very sensitive to what other people think of him. Don t get me wrong,
he sounds like a nice, caring, and independent man. His intentions though, are outweighed by the
means and basis for his profit: unfair and underpaid labor. The money that he made from his steel
factory was ironically against his giving attitude that he was trying to generate. I think that after he
realized that he would never have to worry about his financial situation ever again, he focused on
becoming a public figure and cared about the public opinion of himself. An example to prove this
would be how he reacted to the steel strikes. While he was visiting Scotland, his next in command
(Henry Clay Frick) replaced all of the strikers with immigrants. This action is said to have caused the

The Political Shift in America
The Political Shift in America It is 2014 and since the beginning of the millennium there has been a
major shift in America s political ideology and demographics, more so than in any set period of time.
America which has historically been very conservative, has started to become more liberally made
evident by the results of the last two elections. Although America s government is based on a less
centralized system and free market, Americans have seemed to start embracing things like big
government and a stricter market. Americans are also starting to think different on social issues such
as homosexuality and drug usage. America has also experienced a change in its demographics as
minorities like Asians and Hispanics continue to grow while whites are, percentage wise, starting to
make up a smaller part of Americas population. Along with a shift in ideology and change in
demographics, technology and communication has advanced greatly making the world a much more
connected place. Because of this connectivity people are also beginning to be influenced by foreign
ideas that are not familiar to most Americans such as universal healthcare. Overall, because of factors
such as foreign influences due to technology and changing demographics, America has become less
conservative and more liberal.

categories rack up redistributed votes until all five spots are filled. (mentalfloss.com). If the voter
doesn t fill all five spots on the ballot, it ends up being voided after there are no more selections on it.
After the nominations are made, in order to win the film or person has to be voted on by the academy.
Each member is allowed to vote only once in each category. If they don t fully understand the category
or haven t seen all the films in the category, they are discouraged from voting. The ballots that are
received by the academy are still hand counted. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
It takes 3 months to manufacture 50 statues. The statue itself is a knight holding a crusaders sword. It
stands on top of a reel of film, which has five spokes that represent the original branches of the
Academy. The designer of this iconic trophy is Cedric Gibbons, chief art director at Metro Goldwyn
Mayer. The sculptor is George Stanley, an artist from Los Angeles. The statuettes presented at the
initial ceremonies were gold plated solid bronze. Within a few years the bronze was abandoned in
favor of Britannia metal, a pewter like alloy which is then plated in copper, nickel silver, and finally,
24 karat gold. Due to a metal shortage during World War II, Oscars were made of painted plaster for
three years. Following the war, the Academy invited recipients to redeem the plaster figures for gold
plated metal ones. (Oscars.org). It weighs 8 ½ pounds, and is 13 ½ inches tall. Not only do you have

The Economic Climate Of The Automotive Industry
Given the current economic climate, I think the automotive industry is going to be faced with a
multitude of economic challenges in the next five years. As an oligopoly market, the auto industry is
highly dependent on strategic decision making, and the demand for dynamic innovation and supply at
decreased cost levels. Competition, possibilities of turning substitutes into compliments, and shifts
toward higher demand in services are seemingly leading factors that face the current automotive
industry in the immediate future. But first, we should not ignore the political forces at play within the
market.
With the upcoming Presidential election, there is a very real possibility of big political challenges; as
well as, major changes to international trade policies facing the American Automotive Companies.
Political changes, locally and abroad, are having an effect on the automotive industry. Britain recently
voted to exit the European Union; this event, which is being called Brexit, is having a ripple effect
across the world. The full result of Brexit won t be known for two years or more, but with the
automotive industry having such a large presence in the U.K, an anticipated change is in full effect. In
general, for the next two years, global automakers will need to pay attention to the market; be
prepared for unanticipated changes; and ready for the possible need of contingency plans. This is
especially crucial as negotiations take place between Britain and the EU. Ian

Antiphyscotic Drugs Essay
The administration of both typical and atypical anti psychotic medication is associated with the
metabolic side effects that include weight gain and diabetes mellitus, with atypical anti psychotics
(APPs) conferring the greatest risk.1
AAPs gained much popularity when first introduced due to their extensive spectrum of efficacy and
their low risk of extrapyramidal symptoms in comparison to typical anti psychotic drugs.2 They have
become the first line of treatment for psychotic disorders however, unlike their counterparts, AAPs
have been associated with a greater risk for metabolic side effects.3
These side effects also present as risk factors for cardiovascular diseases, insulin resistance and other
metabolic disorders.4 A further ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Leptin is an adipose released hormone that works on the hypothalamus to control appetite and
peripheral regulation of energy metabolism. Leptin works to inhibit the effects of appetite stimulating
hormones while stimulating the effects of hormones such as corticotrophin releasing factor that
suppress appetite stimulations. 5
Sensory pathways bringing in information from the blood and CSF to the hypothalamus, have their
first order neurons in the ARC. It contains the neuropeptide Y (NPY)/agouti related protein (AgRP)
neurons and the pro opiomelanocortin (POMC)/cocaine and amphetamine related transcript (CART)
neurons which play a role in the simulation of food intake. 6
Serotonin signaling in the central nervous system produces hyophagia through its effects on the
suppression of food intake. The anorexigenic 5HT2C receptor is largely expressed in the
hypothalamus, particularly in the POMC neurons of the arcuate nucleus where stimulation of PMOC
neural activity via this receptor results in hypophagia and weight loss. 7 5HT is a potent satiety
signaler with 5 HT1A and 5 HT2C receptors as the prime mediators of 5HT in regulating food intake.
The action of serotonin on these receptors confers opposing results. Binding of serotonin on 5 HT1A
increases food intake while 5HT2C decreases it.
Serotonin when produced in the CNS acts as a neurotransmitter, however a large proportion of
serotonin

King Arthur Strengths
Arthur grows to become a good king and he continued to evolve as he established his kingdom. His
development started at an early age when Merlyn taught him how to become a good leader. Despite
Merlyn s efforts and Arthur s dedication to be a good leader, throughout his reign you not only see his
weaknesses, but their causes as well. These weaknesses limit his effectiveness as a leader. Arthur
began to show he was going to be a good king when he figured out might was not right. Before this
enlightenment he believed that might was right. This happened when Arthur said to Merlyn, Might isn
t right is it, Merlyn? (White 219) After he figured this out, he created the Knights of the Round Table
to vanquish might from the world. This was evident ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
If he would have confronted Lancelot and Guenever early in their relationship, instead of trusting
them, he could have avoided a lot of trouble later on. In the book it states, The first two people to
notice that Lancelot and Guenever were falling in lover were Uncle Dap and King Arthur himself.
(White 331) He also didn t have the strong will to go against his friends even when he knew it was the
right thing. This is obvious when the book describes Arthur, He was sadly unfitted for hating his best
friend or for torturing his wife. (White 387) Finally, he did not punish his Knights of the Round Table,
even when one of the knights killed his friend, King Pellinore. Gawaine had at least contrived to
murder our dear old friend King Pellinore... (White 425) Theses weaknesses caused everything in his

Taking a Look at Tracheobroncomalacia
Imagine if you had to quit all physical activity, all sports, all hobbies. Imagine if you cough and cough
but nothing can or will ever come out. Your sleeping is even affected when you cannot even lie down
but have to prop yourself up on pillows. You then have to watch out for the different airborne diseases
that can work their way into their body and can potentially be fatal. All those simple diseases such as
strep throat, common colds, or any other respiratory illness that you use to breeze right through.
Knowing everyday that this will affect you lifespan, shortening it. Imagine you had
Tracheobronchomalacia. Tracheobronchomalacia is the collapse of the trachea and one or both of the
bronchi. This occurs do to the softening of the cartilaginous rings. The collapse can be classified in
many ways but the shape of the airway after they are affected can be classified as crescent, which is
when one side of the bronchial tube is caved in which causes it to have a crescent shape, or concentric
which is when all sides of the tubes collapse and it creates a circular hole in the middle in which air
can pass through. When we are born, the cartilaginous rings that support our trachea and bronchial
tubes are made up of hyaline cartilage. Over time these rings are supposed to go through the process
of ossification and harden. When the cartilage does not harden and there is something that causes the
rings to collapse onto the airway, it is classified as congenital or primary

  • 2. Electronic Equipment s And Energy Storage ABSTRACT We discussed the exciting materials nanotubes in this outline and the study being carried out on our part. We discussed the materials that are suitable for manufacturing, their processing techniques and exotic applications with supported few references. Here this abstract aims to define the basic principle of nanotubes that is their definition, basic chemical and physical properties, their applications, their fabrication process in details and their future prospect. Nanotubes hold the key in the next generation of technological developments especially in case of electronic equipment s and energy storage. INTRODUCTION Nano is associated with anything in the dimensional range of nanometers (1/10^9 meter). A nanowire is a long cylindrical specimen having diameter in the range of few nanometers with an unconstrained length. Nanotubes are similarly hollow nanowires and consists of tubes of 1 atom wall thickness. As a whole we work with material properties in bulk and the quantum effects of atoms were averaged out. With nanotubes and nanowires we work with materials in single dimension and atoms start exerting significant quantum effect on mechanical properties and a wide range of new properties and applications are being discovered. Carbon nanotubes (CNTs) are constructed with length to diameter ratio of up to (1.32 × 108):1, which is significantly larger than any other material. The radius of nanotube is in the order of few nanometres, while they can be up to 18 ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 6. Who Is Friar Lawrence To Blame Bittersweet Destinies Have you ever been blamed for something you didn t know would happen? The play, Romeo and Juliet, was written by William Shakespeare. It was a tragic love story of two star crossed lovers who struggled to keep their affair a secret from their families. I believe Friar Lawrence is to blame for the death of Romeo and Juliet because of the ideas and advice he gives to them. If the ideas of the Friar were more planned out and better thought out, the play could have ended happily, but alas, it doesn t. Friar Lawrence is to blame because, he agrees to marry them, but this could lead to their own destruction. Friar marries Romeo and Juliet because he wants the feud to end. With Romeo being banished to Mantua, he writes him a letter to explain what will happen and where it will take place. He then gives this letter to Friar John, who is supposed to deliver the letter, but it is later found out that he was held in quarantine and was unable to deliver it. While this is taking place, Friar Lawrence gives Juliet a vile and tells her to drink it, saying that it will put her in a death like state for 48 hours. Once she is found dead she will be laid in the family tomb. Once the 48 hours are up, she will awaken and Romeo was supposed to come and take her somewhere safe where they can be together. This plan backfired when Romeo didn t receive the Friar s letter and took matters into his own hands when Balthazar tells him Juliet is dead. Because Balthazar believes Juliet is truly dead, Romeo believes that this is the news that was supposed to come from the Friar. Romeo then paid for a bottle of poison that he will drink when he lies next to Juliet. If Friar s plan would have succeeded, they would be together and they could work out a plan to keep them both safe and end the family feud. • 7. Aladdin The Musical Reflection The theater was largely attended by children and toddlers. To my surprise, I noticed that there were a decent number of adults attending the show too. I was not sure if they were dragged into the show by their own children or that they came to watch the performance willingly. Unfortunately, I was dragged into the theater to watch Aladdin the Musical with my younger siblings during a family outing in Disneyland. I tried my best to spot other adolescents in the theater. However, it felt like I was the only one. Embarrassed, I sat in deeper into my seat, hoping that no adults could find and criticize me. Aladdin the Musical uses the same plot from the movie, Aladdin as a foundation for their own plot. The plot is about how a thief was destined to be the prince of Agrabah with the help of a powerful genie and how an evil vizier named Jafar desired to take over the kingdom of Agrabah by abusing the genie s powers. As the emcee made his announcements, I assumed that I would fall asleep on the cushioned seat from all the boredom I would experience from a children s fairytale. Surprisingly, I was wide awake throughout the entire show. In fact, I enjoyed the performance very much. People can get arrested for being in love, and even be executed for it. The book that this society is in is called Delirium, by Lauren Oliver. Lena and Alex fall in love in this dystopian society, and try to defy the government. They meet up secretly, and even try to escape together. A message that I ve gotten from this is that love can t be restrained no matter what. Lena and Alex fall in love in a society where it isn t allowed. Lena says, ¨The only word left there is yes. Yes to everything. (pg.232) Lena says this when she falls in love with Alex. She wants to run away with Alex so they can be free forever. By the end of the book, she thinks, Alex told me to run. And so I run. (pg.440) She thinks this when she and Alex are running to the Wilds, and Alex helps her get past the fence and escape. • 10. Love And Love In Chaucer s Troilus And Criseyde This passage from Chaucer s Troilus and Criseyde comes from a scene towards the beginning of Book Two where Criseyde and her uncle Pandarus are discussing love, specifically relation to Troilus s desire for her. In these lines, the overbearing Pandarus gives a woeful Criseyde advice on what to do, with Criseyde giving her reaction immediately after. With the format of the rhyme royal, Chaucer creates new relationships between individual words, both in a sonic sense as well as a visual one with the page itself. Through this, he presents the possibility of a tainted love, wrought with the pressures from outside forces. In the first stanza, Criseyde seeks to put pressure on Pandarus s statements, directly asking him what wolde ye devise? He recognizes the question and replies, stating Certein/ best is / That ye hym love ayeyn for his lovynge, / As love for love is skilful guerdonynge. Of particular interest here is the rhyme between lovynge and guerdonynge, a product of the rhyme scheme that characterizes rhyme royal. A normative conception of lovynge not subject to outside pressures becomes intrinsically tied to the transactional guerdonynge. Considering that this statement is coming from Pandarus, the question of intent seems to be important here. At this point in the text, he is already actively assisting Troilus in wooing Criseyde, but in highlighting the sense of exchange, he strips lovynge of any genuine sense, making an attempt to engender its ... • 11. The Obstacle Of Organizing Government The obstacle of organizing government around the environment is that, for the most part, society is too focused on economic growth for the environment to take a precedent. And, as Leopold notes, land...is still property (Leopold 218). The environment, or for Leopold the land, is not a global citizen in it of itself. Rather, the land is merely a tool for the continued economic growth. Since land has limited legal rights, Leopold sees that humans see no harm in exploiting the environment for capital gain. As such, granting the environment legal protection would, as Leopold saw it, be a better means of conservation efforts. Leopold described a system of ethics that, when applied appropriately, apply to both man and land. Despite defining an ethic as both a limitation on freedom off action in the struggle for existence and a differentiation of social from anti social conduct, Leopold saw little difference between an ethological the former and the philosophical the latter definitions of an ethic (Leopold 217 218). Both definitions create a sense of cooperation between individuals. However, the issue for the human land relation is that, currently, ethics is not being applied. The land relation is still strictly economic, entailing privileges but not obligations (Leopold 218). As Leopold saw it, mankind understands the need for the natural world, so there exists a limited sense of respect. However, unlike the ethics shared between human beings, the rights of land are not ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

This inflammatory process is caused by plaque, a biofilm of bacteria, that originate at the gingiva and extends into the connective tissue, alveolar bone and the outer surface of the roots of the teeth. According to American Academy of Periodontology, there are several types of periodontal disease which are identified based on the severity of the disease and the amount of damaged tissue that s present at the time of the examination. Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Periodontium is the structure that supports and holds a tooth in place, which consists of cementum, the jaw bone, the periodontal membrane and the gingivae. When Porphyromonas gingivalis attaches to salivary molecules, epithelial cells, matrix proteins, and teeth bacteria, it first colonizes the sub gingival area and then extends deeper down to the root area. Binding of P.gingivalis to all those substances is mediated by P. gingivalis fibrillin, the structural subunit of the major fimbriae. To grow and reproduce, P.gingivalis requires hemin, the source of peptides and iron that are used by the bacterium to produce five proteases and three hemagglutinins which are responsible for the breakdown of the gingival tissue in periodontal disease. This produce inflammatory response which is triggered by the host s immune response which in its turn leads to swelling of the gingivae and the development of periodontal pockets around the tooth. After the pocket has been formed, more bacteria enters these pockets causing more inflammation, periodontal abscess and bone eradication. if left untreated, the tooth becomes loose and eventually falls out of its periodontal socket 3 ... While both Black and White women are subject to sexualized images, the white woman defines the standard of the socially acceptable view of what it is to be a woman. Not being able to fit into that set of stereotypes, Black women consequently become deemed as the other within their own gender. The stereotypes formed for African American women were even more significantly derogatory than that of the image of the submissive house slave. This ideology of the 19th century Eurocentric norm was to objectify these woman as sexually promiscuous. By exaggerating their actions and portraying them into a negative perception, these portrayals were designed to oppress these women and deem them inferior to their female counterpart. Decades later, these images still have influence today in the perceptions of the Black women and their bodies. A great example of this sexism and racism can be seen in today s criticism about female sports athletes such as the six time U. S Open tennis champion Serena Williams and her sister Venus. • 15. Pros And Cons Of Banning The Headscarf Should the headscarf be banned? Recently there has been a push towards banning religious symbolism from the media, especially the hijab. The hijab is a veil that Muslim women wear around their heads to cover their hair and their bosoms; it symbolizes faith and modesty. Many people fear or in some cases feel bad for people who wear the headscarf including niqabs and burqas because they are uneducated and/or ignorant of Islamic teachings which lead them to create inaccurate assumptions and accusations on the matter. Most may believe banning the headscarf will benefit the community in ways that they believe will make people feel more comfortable and they also believe that it will benefit the women who wear the hijab because of the belief that Muslim women who wear the headscarf are oppressed, however, banning the headscarf would lead to the contradiction of Canadian values, discrimination, and go against the religious beliefs of Muslims. The prohibition of the headscarf would go against Canadian values. When Steven Harper was Prime Minister, he wanted to ban the niqab, a cloth that covers the face, for citizens who work for the government and Around 82 percent of Canadians [supported] the niqab ban, ( Trudeau s Gutsy Post Victory Speech Shatters Stereotypes ). Angelou deserves an A for this essay because she has strong examples of overcoming obstacles, sophisticated descriptions, and has a clear sense of purpose with strong development. Angelou s example of overcoming adversity is the strongest at the end of the essay. Something unrehearsed, unplanned, was going to happen, and we were going to be made to look bad (Angelou 26). As Henry Reed starts to sing the Negro national anthem, Angelou finally senses that the words do have meaning to her. • 20. Genetically Modifying for Smarter Living Things GENETICALLY MODIFYING FOR SMARTER LIVING THINGS Scientific research holds vast propensities for advancement. Recently, the genetic modification of organisms has been a topic for debate among professionals and the general public alike. For instance, some value the benefits of modifying foods to contain greater nutritional benefits, yield larger crop sizes, and have resistance to many diseases. Alternatively, others fear the undetermined risks for consuming scientifically altered organisms long term, and deem the act of tampering with the makeup of living things unethical. Even more controversial, is the modern idea of using genetic modification techniques to create smarter organisms, largely, humans. Advances in scientific research particularly in the field of neuroscience make this argument not only possible, but entirely plausible and more attainable than ever before. Thus, it is important to become educated on the topic and explore both sides of the argument prior to making this prospect a reality. This paper argues that it is beneficial for researchers to generate smarter living organisms through genetic modification based on the biological, social, and ethical benefits that arise from the act. Although there are many factors that influence an individual s ability to learn, the most biological support for the process of learning involves the strengthening and weakening of synaptic connections in the brain. A twenty one year old woman by the name of Anna O that was caring for her ailing father began to experience severe debilitating physical and psychological symptoms. During this period, most psychoses were labeled as hysteria. Anna O began to hallucinate, experience paralysis, and have an extreme aversion to food and drink. She underwent treatment with Dr. Breuer (Oxford Journals, 2005). When Dr. Breuer treated Anna O for her hysteria and her mental and physical symptoms he discovered that as she began to talk of hidden thought processes about her experiences during their discussions, whether through hypnosis or while conscious, certain symptoms would disappear (Oxford Journals, 2005). Dr. Breuer discussed Anna O s case with Sigmund Freud and Freud later perfected this talking cure. Also known as sweeping the chimney or sweeping the mind. Sigmund Freud s theory of the unconscious mind claimed that people experience hysteria or other reactions in response to repressed experiences. The Song of Creation from the Rig Veda on page 15 originates from India. Meanwhile The Babylonian Creation myth on page 19 to 20 originated from Babylon. The main differences between these two creation myths is that the first creation myth is based on the importance of water as the necessary requirement for the beginning of life. The primary source narrates about how back then before the universe was created, there was no existence, no death or immortality (Fiero 15). It also raises questions about the creation of the universe such as What covered it? Where was it? In whose keeping? (Fiero 15). These shows the uncertainty of how the universe came to be. Meanwhile in The Babylonian Creation myth, it narrates or tells the story about not only how the universe was created, but also how the gods entered the world, how the earth came to be, as well as the creation of Babylon and humans (Fiero 19). In the first myth, the universe was created when That One which came to be enclosed in nothing, arose at last, born of the power of heat (Fiero 15). In my opinion, one canthink that back in the time, the people who created this myth believed in a geocentric view of the universe where Earth was in the center. And that that One came to be the sun which gave light to the world and allowed the prospering of plants and life. Some imagery found in this primary source were darkness wrapped in darkness , only illumined water cosmic waters, in depths unfathomed, (Fiero 15). These forms of imagery depicts or describes what the universe was like before the that One arose. The order of creation in this myth seems to be that of the One being in the empty universe before anything else and then when that One arose, he or she brought heat as well as light in the world which most likely led to the beginning of light in the world leading to life. In this creation myth, one can feel like the One is the universe or the creation because according to lines 23, it states The gods themselves are later than creation (Fiero 15). Faraman Abstract The relevant paper presents a detailed study of a remarkable scene belonging to Herihor as a king. The scene is situated on the eastern inner wall of the court of the temple of Khonsu at Karnak. The scene, with a preliminary iconography characterization and translation of the accompanying texts, has been published previously. But still offers possibilities for additional analysis. The contents offer a great variety of novel queries; among which one concerns Herihor`s relationship with Hathor of Dendera, based on the iconographic detail representing the king receiving his regal epithets incised inside cartouches. The study examines the relationship between the king and goddess, and includes a discussion of the titles in the Hb sed symbol surmounted by the crown of Upper Egypt. The present study, throughout the significance of the symbolism expressed by the scene, arrives at the conclusions of a clear geographical boundary; that Herihor, as a king, exerted control at least as far north as the region of Iwnt (Dendera). Introduction The rise of Herihor as a King is an expected result of precedent introductions. • 34. The Party System, Republican Vs. Federalist Final Exam Part 2 _QC There are several reasons why the two party system, Republican vs. Federalist, worked so well in the 1790 s. First, when the political parties emerged in the 1790 s it was evident that their ideologies were vastly different. The Republican Party wanted a representative form of government that functioned in the interest of the people. This party, led by Thomas Jefferson, supported a limited central government, with individual states retaining a majority of the control. Jefferson s vision was for a nation of farmers, and farmers do not need big government to survive. They feared a large central government would take away the rights of the people. On the other hand, the Federalist Party, led by Alexander Hamilton, supported a strong central government that would pursue policies in support of economic growth, which in turn would provide the freedom the people wanted. Hamilton s followers also supported a diverse economy.1 It is important to note here however, that both parties knew they would have to become national parties in order to win any elections and both parties had followers in the north and in the south. There was no sectional divide in the parties. Second, the Constitution played an important role in the why the two party system worked so well during this period. The Constitution created a system of government, which distributed power across three levels of government, so that no one political body had ultimate power. The people ... Dorothea Lange And The Migrant Woman During the first half of the 20th century, Photographs, songs, and cartoons tried to interpret the problems of the time through different kinds of imagery and tone with varying amounts of success, from praise and awe to disgust and rejection. In the early 20th century, Americans were suffering from the Great Depression and its high unemployment rates, droughts and terrible living conditions, so when they first saw the series of photographs by Dorothea Lange, including the Migrant Mother, they were in awe of how it captured their situation, as well as their beliefs, perfectly. Not only did they represent the people as dignified human beings whose plight would elicit sympathy, not ridicule, Lange s photos captured the idea that Poverty was a distressing matter..., not an embarrassing one, simply by photographing people on the streets they were living on, filming them in their element. People were in pain and just by taking photos of this problem, with some modifications and positioning, Lange s art became a tireless and universal symbol of suffering in the face of adversity with its portrayal of regular people in dire situations. • 44. The Economic Climate Of The Automotive Industry Given the current economic climate, I think the automotive industry is going to be faced with a multitude of economic challenges in the next five years. As an oligopoly market, the auto industry is highly dependent on strategic decision making, and the demand for dynamic innovation and supply at decreased cost levels. Competition, possibilities of turning substitutes into compliments, and shifts toward higher demand in services are seemingly leading factors that face the current automotive industry in the immediate future. But first, we should not ignore the political forces at play within the market. With the upcoming Presidential election, there is a very real possibility of big political challenges; as well as, major changes to international trade policies facing the American Automotive Companies. Political changes, locally and abroad, are having an effect on the automotive industry. Britain recently voted to exit the European Union; this event, which is being called Brexit, is having a ripple effect across the world. The full result of Brexit won t be known for two years or more, but with the automotive industry having such a large presence in the U.K, an anticipated change is in full effect. In general, for the next two years, global automakers will need to pay attention to the market; be prepared for unanticipated changes; and ready for the possible need of contingency plans. This is especially crucial as negotiations take place between Britain and the EU. Ian ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Leptin works to inhibit the effects of appetite stimulating hormones while stimulating the effects of hormones such as corticotrophin releasing factor that suppress appetite stimulations. 5 Sensory pathways bringing in information from the blood and CSF to the hypothalamus, have their first order neurons in the ARC. It contains the neuropeptide Y (NPY)/agouti related protein (AgRP) neurons and the pro opiomelanocortin (POMC)/cocaine and amphetamine related transcript (CART) neurons which play a role in the simulation of food intake. 6 Serotonin signaling in the central nervous system produces hyophagia through its effects on the suppression of food intake. The anorexigenic 5HT2C receptor is largely expressed in the hypothalamus, particularly in the POMC neurons of the arcuate nucleus where stimulation of PMOC neural activity via this receptor results in hypophagia and weight loss. 7 5HT is a potent satiety signaler with 5 HT1A and 5 HT2C receptors as the prime mediators of 5HT in regulating food intake. The action of serotonin on these receptors confers opposing results. Binding of serotonin on 5 HT1A increases food intake while 5HT2C decreases it. Serotonin when produced in the CNS acts as a neurotransmitter, however a large proportion of serotonin ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Before this enlightenment he believed that might was right. This happened when Arthur said to Merlyn, Might isn t right is it, Merlyn? This occurs do to the softening of the cartilaginous rings. The collapse can be classified in many ways but the shape of the airway after they are affected can be classified as crescent, which is when one side of the bronchial tube is caved in which causes it to have a crescent shape, or concentric which is when all sides of the tubes collapse and it creates a circular hole in the middle in which air can pass through. When we are born, the cartilaginous rings that support our trachea and bronchial tubes are made up of hyaline cartilage.
