sons. For me the turning climactic point is when while talking with Ben, Willy believes he can regain
what he lost years ago with Biff by ending his life. He thinks the twenty thousand from the insurance

vote, boys could only go to school, girls were married to men twice their age and a woman s only job

Remember how earlier it was mentioned that any fare paying passenger was allowed on the bus, this

Lacy M. Johnson and Amy Tan came from two entirely different backgrounds. Johnson had come
from a southern, rural family, while Tan had come from a Chinese family living in America. Johnson

The only thing that distinguishes the two characters is that Tom s motives were based off of the
adventure books he s read, whereas Huck has more common sense because all of his motives are
based on experience and not fiction. Tom s common sense is compared to Huck s in chapter 3 of The

Mansfield Park begins with a young Fanny Price who lives with her poor family who sends her off to

Many peoples parents may remained married, but they may not see their parents ever kissing, holding
