For Play assignment #1 I was fortunate enough to experience a play by the name of Lydia , by
Octavio Solis at the Blkbox Theater on June 16th 2016. This play portrays a plethora of themes

family relationships and secrets and it is shown multiple times throughout this play. Other themes

damper on the families existing relationships. There was already so much going on in the family
before Lydia came into the picture so for her to do this was hard pill to swallow for her mother.

The brutality from this event can be summarized by one marcher who was reported saying, My
God, we re being killed. This malevolent act sent the entire nation in an uproar, sparking riots in
major US cites and even in Toronto. The protests and riots gained so much popular support as to
gain the attention of President Lyndon B. Johnson, who declared that he deplored the brutality. King

7 days without it. Water is the most precious resource on the planet, but can also be taken for
granted especially in first world countries where it is always available at the faucet. This modern
marvel of having clean water so easily accessible is threatened by another modern invention, the
application of pesticides. While pesticides have narrowed the gap between actual yield and yield
potential in our conventional crops, they are also a source of nontarget poisoning responsible
for fish kills, reproductive failures in birds, and human illnesses (Arias Estevez et al, 2007). In
fact, only about 0.1% of pesticides actually reach their targeted pest (Pimentel, 1995). Most
pesticide ends up in the environment where it is transported or degraded through volatilization,
runoff into surface water and groundwater, or taken up by nontarget organisms (van der Werf,
1996). The movement of pesticides into groundwater poses a grave threat to the health of our
communities. According to a 1999 USGS survey, around 50% of water samples collected from
wells contained at least one pesticide (Arias Estevez et al, 2007). In Ohio, a well testing program
started by the Water Quality Laboratory of Heidelberg College found that wells were
contaminated most frequently by atrazine and alachlor, albeit at very low levels and in less than

As a Data Analyst, I am responsible for assisting in projections and forecasting of enrollment as well
as institutional research projects. This includes use of Excel and R to run statistical analyses in
answering enrollment and research questions. Key to projecting enrollment is a file we use called
