 It is a Latin word 'Persona' means Mask
 व्यक्तिमत्व
 लॅटिन भाषेतील ‘परसोना’ या शब्दापासून
 ‘Personality’ या इंग्रजी शब्दाची उत्पत्ती झाली आहे.

3.  Have you ever tried to describe your own personality? If
you have, you probably found yourself listing
objectives like funny, outgoing, happy, stable and so
on. May be you remembered, how you reacted in
various situations. Is there more to personality than
these kinds of attributes? Many theories have
attempted to define personality and they agree on one
aspect: 'uniqueness'.
 Personality refers to the characteristics or blend of
characteristics that make a person unique. Systematic
view of personality structure
 Personality is the sum of those characteristics that
make a person unique.
 The study of personality helps us work better with
Students, Athletes and exercisers .

of behavior. In observing any human being,

10.  Freud, the founder of psychoanalysis based
his theoretical conclusions upon careful and
systematic observation. The subjects of his
observations were usually his patients. But
he also observed the everyday behavior of
the people around him and conducted a
famous self-analysis.
 Freud considered observables behavior as
an effect, caused by the pressure of drives,
modified by the mental structure with
primacy of drives being the main and
ultimate source of behavior.

 It develops in social environment.
 Psychological Core:- the most basic level of your
personality is called this psychological core it includes your
attitude and values interest and motives and believes about
yourself and your self worth "the real you"
 Typical responses:- are the ways we each learn to adjust to
the environment or how we usually respond to the world
around us if you consistently respond to social situation by
being quiet and shy you are likely to be introverted.
 Role related behavior:- how you act based on what you
perceive your social situation to be is called roll related
behavior. this behavior is most changeable aspect of
personality, your behavior changes as your perceptions of
the environment change.

 3. Adrenal gland:- helps us to adapt in various stress
situation.
