Point of View Wuthering Heights has two main narrators from whose point of view the novel is
written. Lockwood is the primary narrator, and much is of what takes place in the present is told
through his eyes, via first person. The narration shifts to Ellen Dean, as she gives, to both
Lockwood and the reader, her version of past events. She serves as the peripheral narrator, who is
meant to tell the tale of what transpired before Lockwood s arrival to Wuthering Heights. Ellen s
story is filtered and recorded through Lockwood s perspective. There are however certain instances
where Nelly herself was not present and therefore relies on someone else s eyewitness report to

MMA is many different martial arts and fighting styles mixed together. Some of those martial arts
and fighting styles are Muai Thai Kickboxing, Jiu Jitsu Grappling, and variations of wrestling and
boxing. Even though they are both combat sports, Boxing and MMA are significantly different.
The Independent states that MMA has certain aspects of boxing within the technique.
The rounds and timings are very different. Bleacherreport states that in Boxing, there are six to
twelve rounds and each one lasts three minutes. Bleacherreport also states that in MMA there are
three rounds, and they all last five minutes. Both sports are similar in a sense that there are timed
rounds instead of quarters such as in other sports, but that is the only similarity because the round s
timings are different. It is significant that the timings are different because the training of the
athletes will be built around how much time that they have.

vital role in the US. conflict with Japan throughout World War II. The narrator, Ned Begay, is a
Navajo soldier who wonders why the Japanese supported the war so strongly while Americans
grew more fatigued of the war every day. After the war, he learns about an organization called
Tokubetsu KЕЌtЕЌ Keisatsu; although the name was often shortened to TokkЕЌ, this agency was
more notoriously known as the Thought Police. The agency was a military group that controlled
Japan s population by imprisoning or murdering anyone who spoke against the war movement or

The TokkЕЌ were more secretive than the Japanese Military Police, the Kempeitai. The military
police were rife and had more overall power. The Tokko were less known, but worked towards the
same goal of stifling the possibility of rebellion against the monarchy. Their official purpose being
to repress dangerous thoughts, the TokkЕЌ would be infamously known as the Thought Police.
Dangerous comprised anything anti government, anti emperor, leftist, and critical of the war. The
Thought Police also targeted labor unions, Koreans living in Japan, religious groups other than
shinto, communists, socialists, anarchists, and those thought to be breaking the Public Peace Act.
The TokkЕЌ used many undercover informants who secretly joined leftist organizations and
provided information about leaders and meetings to the Thought Police. The agents spied on people
s telephone and radio communications and informed on activists in their own neighborhoods.
Violators could be tortured to death during interrogation, and the public was urged to report any and
