The modern musical I watched in comparison to Singing in the Rain was Across the Universe. Seeing
how the themes and technical aspects of Across the Universe are much different than those of Singing
in the Rain, I was surprised to find out that there were various similarities in multiple musical numbers
between the films. The musical number from Across the Universe that I chose was I ve Just Seen A
Face, because it s style reminded me of the title song from Singing in the Rain. In I ve Just Seen A
Face, the character Jude spots his love interest, Lucy, for the first time and instantly falls for her.
Although I ve Just Seen A Face has much more upbeat, folk style than that of Singing in the Rain, the
overall feeling to the numbers share similarities. For example, both songs are sung at interesting
locations. Don is walking home in the pouring rain, and Jude is with new found friends at the bowling
alley. Don begins by daydreaming around in the rain, seen at 0:48; and Jude does the same at the alley,

Completely unaware? Do you notice the things that surrounds us, and the life that lives within us?
Care to much or not at all?, want it all? Or have you no love within your heart. Do you dream? Or
create? Do you see the nature all around us? Those were many of the thoughts and questions that ran
through my head when reading the poem The World Is Too Much With Us , by William Wordsworth.
Throughout the story there were three messages that stood out the most in Wordsworth s poem, which
involve love, the power to not care and be greedy, and creation within the mind.
In the poem the writing can be taken and understood many different ways, but one thing that stood out
to me was the message of love. Now not necessarily love for one another but love for nature was
expressed throughout the poem through various ways. We have given our hearts away, a Sordid boon!
(Wordsworth, Line, 5). What William was trying to explain in just that line was we would give our
hearts away to nature at any point, because it s the love for the way that nature is and all its beauty and
peace. It can so easily capture our hearts to love nature and all it has to offer. Furthermore,
Wordsworth, talks a lot and describes a lot about what nature does. For instance. He talks about how
the sea is at night time, how the wind has a sort of howl to it, and that also really shows the love for

The autobiography, Over My Head, by Claudia Osborn, gave a glimpse into the life of a former
Doctor. After suffering a traumatic brain injury, she suffered in many areas of daily life. As I read
through the short period of Claudia s life, many thoughts had gone through my head. My perception of
success was questioned, even my feelings toward my future career as a speech language pathologist

methods. These officers direct and conduct integrated electronic warfare, information technology, and
cyberspace operations, as authorized or directed, to ensure freedom of action in and through
cyberspace and the information environment, and to deny the same to our nation s adversaries.
In support of the requirement for officers trained in cyber warfare techniques and technologies, the
ROTC Cyber Research program provides cadets with opportunities to research and solve real world
problems in cyber security and cyber counter terrorism.
This first year pilot program research effort focused on the design and deployment of a covert
communications network that can operate at the enemy s operational base and gather intelligence on
enemy communications and activities. This effort is in support of the Year 1 Challenge Problem of the
Cyber Spectrum Research and Technology Development Virtual Environment (CSpec DVE).
The covert communications system design is optimal with regard to detection avoidance, information
