The Problem Of Pop Culture
What pops into your mind first when you think of popular culture in today s day and age? The latest
dirt on celebrities or the latest iPhone release? The latest controversial issue or the latest iTunes hit?
Regardless, pop culture encompasses all four of these concepts and many more, which consume the
world we live in each and every day. Think about education. At first thought, your mind may not make
the connection between the newest Taylor Swift song and the highest ACT score, but the linkage
between the two becomes undeniable when you dive deeper. Ponder this: each day millions of kids
walk into school buildings across the United States, each of them glued to a little slice of pop culture,
a.k.a. their phone. And each day these millions ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Pop culture butts in here, for it idolizes the elite. Pop culture tells those who take either of these
college admission tests that those who score higher are better, and that is a detrimental effect on one s
self esteem.
Let s now focus specifically on what these dreaded tests value: rapid cognition. Malcolm Gladwell
points out something many people don t realize, Snap judgements and rapid cognition take place
behind a locked door (Blink 51). In other words, Gladwell says you don t know why your body tells
you to do something or not to do something because those decisions are made behind a locked door.
The ACT and SAT force their contenders to make numerous, rapid decisions because of their time
constraint, which increases the amount of silly mistakes students could avoid if the tests allotted more
time. Further, what the tests value frustrates many students because they deny the importance of
practical intelligence, something psychologist Robert Sternberg defines as the particular skill that
allows you to talk your way out of a murder rap, or convince your professor to move you from the
morning to the afternoon section (Gladwell Outliers 101). Tying this into the pop culture aspect, how
do you think unknown people suddenly become celebrities? Although most attain popularity from
sheer talent, lots of them possess this practical intelligence,

Achieving Project Goals Simulation
How completing the simulation change my perspective of project management
The completion of the stimulation has a critical impact on how I view the general outlook of project
management in the society. Project management is a multifaceted activity that desires and requires
diverse knowledge and skills from the concerned people. The simulation project had many
considerations that took after manipulation of the natural skills and materials into meeting the elephant
project. The directives that were of immense importance came from the knowledge and skills gained
from the course materials and comparative approaches involved throughout the study period
(Choudhury, 1988).
After completing the project, I learnt immense skills and knowledge as regards going beyond extremes
of time and activity in order to meet the objected and non objected calls of the project. The project on
elephants had to be covered within the initial scope that was set during the creation of the project. In
order to fulfill the needs and specifications of the project, the workers had to increase more of their
attention, concentration, and determination. I perceive a project as a tedious and cheap avenue that can
be accomplished if equitable plans have been set before its initialization.
After completing the project, I developed innate skills and knowledge as regards management of
challenges that

Religion, Judaism, And Islam
The city of Jerusalem, located in the country of Israel, is considered to be one of the holiest cities on
Earth. 890,428 individuals are currently living in the city ( Where is Jerusalem ). What makes
Jerusalem such a holy land is because of its significance to three religions: Christianity, Judaism, and
Islam ( History of Jerusalem ). While Jerusalem is considered the holy land , it is also a place that has
endured countless wars, bloodshed, and controversy. The city has been ruled by infamous leaders and
praised individuals, it is a city with a very rich history, and its history allows one to understand the
vital role it plays in the Palestine Israel conflict. Abraham, the father of Judaism, is the root of
Jerusalem s holiness. It is said that the Lord appeared to Abraham and said that a land (Jerusalem)
would be given to both him and his descendants ( History of Jerusalem ). It is said God spoke to
Abraham and set him through a series of trials in which Abraham proved time after time. His loyalty
to the lord never faltered, and thus, Judaism was born ( Abraham ). Jews revere this man as the first
person to teach the idea of monotheism, and it is Abraham as well, who is deeply rooted with the
beginnings of Islam ( Abraham ). The Jewish king David captured the city of Jerusalem from the
Jebusites about 1,000 years before the birth of Christ ( History of Jerusalem ). King David is explicitly
known for his wish to build a beautiful new temple in which he could honor

Delung Training: Organizational Behavior
Summary
The Department of Public Safety is embarking on a pilot training initiative to train, instruct, and unify
all members of the department. This initiative begins with top leadership and continues down through
all levels of management and staff. This management directed approach incorporates all aspects and
activity of the department and by using organizational behavior principles, DPS will shape and mold
the thought and decision making process of every person therein. Designed around the needs of the

The course will spread over three months, four days per month of classroom time. Following the
course, the group of leaders will work together to outline and design an on going course for the rest of
the department. The resulting tailored organizational behavior course will help DPS meet the current
and future challenges of public safety.
The secret to the success of this initiative will not be simply teaching organizational behavior geared
towards the Law Enforcement environment, which it will do; but DPS will take further steps to ensure
complete implementation and continued improvement over time. DPS will develop new programs of
mentoring, situational awareness, personal and team motivation, as part of the daily routine to further
the success of this initiative.
The current leadership at the Department of Public Safety has held a series of meeting with chiefs and
administrators of DPS agencies to identify current trends, where DPS wants to be years down the
road, and how to overcome the gap in the two positions. All those involved felt confident that by bring
together the DPS mindset and having a consistent leadership approach from top leaders, managers,
supervisors, and all DPS employees, covering both civilian and sworn personnel, is the key to move as

Cultural Appropriation In Pop Culture
You see, the discussion surrounding appropriation takes on so many more layers than most think piece
authors care to engage with layers that desperately need to be brought to the discussion (Jaikaran,
Elizabeth). Movements that advocate the equality between races, religions, and cultures are extremely
prominent in our modern day society (Cohen, Amanda). Cultural appropriation in pop culture allows
for cultures to be spread and ultimately accepted by a wide variety of people. Once an audience sees
someone they follow do something, they will likely accept it and try the same things; people in the
media pave the way for everyone else and can start a movement. Putting cultures in separate groups
and not allowing for certain styles to be used by others is the root of discrimination of cultures. The
main influencers in pop culture have been knocking down these separations and preaching the idea of
mixing cultural styles into every aspect of life. Pop culture has some of the most influence on society
and the example that it sets for people to follow is needed ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Magazines want to be read and enjoyed by the most customers possible, and in order to do so they try
and attract a vast variety of people. This means that they must include different hairstyle and clothing
choices for all races, cultures, and ethnicities. By expanding the types of wear in these magazines,
people are able to identify and connect with the articles and overall message of the magazine. Often
times, the goal is to make women feel empowered and part of a larger whole. Increasing the amount of
cultures that these magazines and their articles represent means that more women are able to feel a
part of something and can knock down the walls of difference between groups of people. It is crucial
for magazines to display various culturized styles in order for these cultures to feel included and is a

San Francisco Negroes Beat the Atlanta Braves in the World Series! Imagine turning on the television

the Seattle Negroes score a touchdown. A large group of Native Americans is facing the same insults
by way of several sports teams. The Sport organizations that currently bear Indian names and mascots
denigrate the Indian people. Some teams perpetuate a stereotypical image about Indians by improperly
portraying Native Americans. The national insensitivity regarding religious beliefs, traditional values

Essay on The Potential Effects Of A Depleted Ozone Layer
The Potential Effects of a Depleted Ozone Layer
quot; And God said, let there be light and there was light and then God saw the light, that it was good
quot; ( Genesis 1: 3 4 ). Undoubtedly, light is good.
Without light man could not survive. Light is the ultimate cosmic force in this universe allowing man
to progress and flourish. In the form of heat, light from the sun warms the Earth. Light, also, is the
single most important factor influencing the growth and development of plants. Photosynthesis, a
process by which plants incorporate light from the sun, allow plants to botanically grow and survive.
Certain forms of light are harmful and thus can be said are bad .

Regrettably, there have always been times of hunger and shortages. More frighteningly, in the present
world man is confronted with a population boom which is burgeoning near the six billion mark. It is
now more important than ever to protect, maintain, and hopefully increase the amount of food grown.
One of the drawbacks of industrialization has been the significant depletion of the ozone layer. This
depletion could have an incredibly devastating impact on the world and more specifically agriculture.
In general, quot; plants are quite sensitive and fragile when confronted with ultraviolet increases quot;
( Zimmer,
1993, p.28 ). Words such as sensitivity and fragility only add to the urgency of the possible
agricultural holocaust. One agricultural scientist remarked, quot; soybeans, tomatoes, tobacco,
potatoes, corn, beans, and wheat are all especially sensitive to UV light quot; ( Jones, 1992, p.39 ).
Since most of the mentioned crops are considered cash crops the economic aspect of lower crop yields
could also spell disaster. Food supplies are surely in jeopardy when taking in to account that quot;
more than two thirds of the plant species mainly crops tested for their reaction to ultraviolet light have
been found to be damaged by it quot; ( Lean et al, 1990, p.97 ). An increase in ultraviolet light
radiating towards plants accelerates the pace at which man must decide what to do with the dilemma
of a booming and more

Summary Of The Love Of God And Affliction By Simone Weil
The political activist and mystic Simone Weil saw mysticism as deeply engaged in the real world and
not in the private domain. Despite having great insight into Christian mysticism Simone Weil was
never baptized. After her death, her various letters and essays were comprised and formed the book
which is entitled Waiting for God. In the essay The Love of God and Affliction, Weil believes people
can find God in the affliction which she defines as a physical suffering and an uprooting of life that
results in social degradation of the fear of it in some form or another . (67 68) Generally speaking,
affliction is a type of severe suffering that a person can experience that is so extreme that people tend
to socially exclude them due to their ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
One may scoff at the idea, but in the end, the experiences of being in the real world will reveal God.
According to Weil, Affliction makes God appear to be absent for a time, more absent than a dead man,
more absent than light in the utter darkness of a cell. ... Then, one day, God will come to show himself
to the soul and to reveal the beauty of the world to it... (70) It is difficult for the person experiencing
affliction and the person submitting themselves to be around affliction to see God in their life.
Affliction is not just any kind of suffering; it is one of the greatest and most horrid sufferings that a
person could possibly experience. Thus, it is easy to lose sight of God being around affliction since
there seems to be no light in the world. However, with time, surrounding yourself with people going
through affliction, God will reveal yourself to you and you will understand and see the true beauty of
the world. This is an interesting notion since it saying through the most horrid suffering, you will
realize the true beauty of life. This is how Simone Weil found mystical experiences as being deeply
engaged in the world and how she truly connected with

Tartuffe Play Analysis
On Saturday, December 3rd at 4 pm, I watched the play Tartuffe at York College. Tartuffe is a classic
French play written by Moliere. It was originally named Tartuffe, ou I Imposteur . And it was first
performed in 1664. The play is a comedy that centers around the character Tartuffe who is a
hypocritical holy man. Throughout the play Moliere indirectly tackles many societal problems in his
time. The play starts in Orgon s house. Where him and his mother (Madame Pernelle) are having a
discussion about Tartuffe, who is a beggar and a holy man. The other members of this family strongly
dislike Tartuffe because they believe that he is a self righteous con artist. In the next scene Orgon

Judith Deapitating Holofernes Essay
Judith Decapitating Holofernes by Trophime Bigot is an oil on panel painting. There are numerous
different elements of art incorporated into this painting. There are no visible brush strokes as a result
of the painter s attention to detail. The three main figures and the drapes of the tent form a triangle.
Judith s face is the most illuminated and defined making her the central focus of the painting. The
other woman in profile in the painting is facing her adds to this effect. Judith s arms draw the viewers
focus down the gruesome beheading and horrified look of Holofernes. Since his face is partially
obscured by shadow, the painting s main focus is Judith. Bigot had extreme attention to detail. There is

The 3 d effect is created by the layering of the 3 figures and overlapping their different body parts.
This is also emphasized by the use of shadows. The illusion of space adds to the composition by
invoking the viewer s imagination and leading them to believe that the painting takes place
somewhere dark and secretive.
There were multiple principles of design incorporated into the piece. Such as the rule of thirds and
triangular composition.
In order to create a sense of variety in the painting, Bigot utilizes his astounding dexterity in his use of
value, depth, and focal points.
There is a clear visual path for the viewer to follow when observing Bigot s painting of Judith
Decapitating Holofernes. Bigot utilizes triangular composition in order to draw the viewers eye to
scan all the different elements of the painting. The eye is drawn to the candle not only because it is in
the center of the painting, but also because it is the most illuminated compared to the outer edges of
the painting that have a deep valued contrast. The viewer then focuses in Judith because she is the next
element with the most illumination. Her arms lead the viewer down to witness Holofernes gruesome

Time Enough For Drum By Ann Rinaldi Analysis
The novel Time Enough For Drums by Ann Rinaldi is a story about love, loss, and sacrifice. In the
novel, there were many important characters that played key roles in the story. The novel takes place
during the time of the revolutionary war. The Emerson family has their two sons fighting in the war,
and their mother is helping sew clothing for the war. They have two slaves named Lucy and Cornelius,
whom they plan to un enslave after the war has ceased. The person that impacted the story the most
was Jemima Emerson. Jemima is a relentless, caring and careless fifteen year old girl that plays one of
the most important roles in the novel. The first idiosyncrasy that best describes Jemima is relentless.

idiosyncrasy that best fits Jemima is caring. First off, John Reid is a spy for the American patriots. He
is off fighting in the war with the patriots when he falls ill. He comes home to see Jemima because
they are betrothed (engaged). When Jemima sees him she realizes that he really is ill, so she tells him,

because her older sister Rebeckah wants him out of their house but she will not kick him out.
Consequently, Ann Rinaldi had many important characters in her novel Time Enough for Drums. But

Semiotics In Politics Essay
We are a society that thrives upon communication, from texting to tweeting and all forms in between.
It is not surprising that we often find ourselves drawn in and influenced by the manipulative skills of
well organized syllables and strong punctuation. Political rallies are in no shortage of examples of the
prowess of semiotics. We use them to speak our minds, to spread the truth, to satirize other s opinions,
and to fabricate our own. As human beings we are not unused to the idea that politics often involves
tricky rhetoric and verbal wordplay in efforts to persuade us. However, not often are we aware that
tangible signs sway us to much the same effect. Political signs first and foremost seek to influence a
decision, or ideals that ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Semiotics influences signs by modifying the way we see them when certain aspects are changed or
enhanced to convey or evoke certain meanings or feelings, when words are italicized or bolded our
eyes immediately focus more on them than the other words, when messages are presented to us in
strange or noticeable fonts we are drawn to them, they stick in our minds, they make a certain impact.
As Ferdinand de Saussure stated and is quoted on a University of Vermont educational website, All
signs have two aspects: the signifier and the signified. The signifier is any material thing that signifies,
e.g., words on a page, a facial expression, a picture, a bit of graffiti. The signified is the concept that a
signifier refers to. In most cases the signified is in relation to the signifier in order to ensure the
signified is able to relate to it s signifier. I/e, men smoking looking as though they are enjoying
themselves, the signifier is the man smoking the cigarette, and the man, and the cigarette, seeking to
signify men or masculinity (Saussure p.2). The same is applied to political signs, in relation the creator
of the sign seeks to put emphasis on something that they wish the audience to connect the main idea of
their sign too. For example at The Rally to Restore Sanity and/or Fear, many protestors utilize
symbols in order to connect their beliefs or ideas to a grander concept. In one protestors sign, a

correlation between the children s own morals and of the Fantastic Four s (Martin 246). Young boys

A standard hero embodies what we believe is best in ourselves. A hero is a standard to aspire to as well
as an individual to be admired (Miczo 4). The displays of these superheroes emerged as the characters
underwent certain transformations, experiences of growth in empathy, and turned towards the good.
They uphold and maintain the public sphere as they operate in complete freedom and for the benefit of
others. In later parts of the Spider Man series, Peter readiness to forgive and not be bound by his past
mistakes but be conditioned by it are what the Fantastic Four also did in their first issue. They ensure a
connection between their identities and facilitate the development in the community, often adding to it
and learning from it. They provide memorable messages and have a significant influence on behavior
(Miczo 91 92, 94). It is also good to note that Spider Man s origin differs from the Fantastic Four as it
was only through the death of someone Peter cared for that becomes the catalyst needed for his

Roman Architecture And The Renaissance
Roman Architecture and the Renaissance In the renaissance days, the designers reject the many sided
quality and vertical of the Gothic style for the straightforwardness and balanced degrees of class.
Balanced bends, vaults, and the built up solicitations were revived. This reclamation was refined
through direct view of Roman leftovers. The renaissance structural planning is the construction
modeling of the time frame between the mid fifteenth and mid seventeenth hundreds of years in
distinctive districts of Europe, showing a knowledgeable recovery and improvement of specific
components of old Rome views on society. Elaborately, Renaissance construction modeling took after
Gothic structural engineering and was succeeded by Florid building design. Structural planning
remains an important subject to discuss when recorded developments in the time periods happen and
the various sorts of craftsmanship begin to move as well. This is especially present in the midst of the
tasteful development from the medieval period to the Renaissance where degrees and symmetry are
returning musings beginning from generally Greek and Roman times. In the midst of the Renaissance

Blistering Research Paper
Introduction
Experts believe that terrorist use of chemical agents is an event with low probability, but potentially
high consequences. While terrorist groups may or may not have an increased interest in chemical
agent acquisition and use, the domestic vulnerability of the United States to chemical attack remains
an issue. Both the United States and Russia have signed and ratified the Chemical Weapons
Convention (CWC), and are reducing, and eventually eliminating, their chemical weapon stockpiles.1
The possibility that terrorist groups might obtain insecure chemical weapons led to increased scrutiny
of declared Libyan chemical weapon stockpiles following the fall of the Qadhafi regime. Experts have
expressed similar concerns regarding the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Some agents can penetrate through normal clothing material, causing burns even in cloth covered
areas. While blister agents react quickly upon skin contact, their symptoms may be delayed. In the
case of mustard agent, damage occurs within one to two minutes of exposure, but symptoms do not
manifest for several hours.18 As even low concentrations of vaporized blister agents quickly cause
damage, it is unlikely that exposed individuals can remove these agents from the skin prior to injury.
The initial symptoms of blister agent exposure are a reddening of the skin, resembling sunburn,
combined with pain in the affected area. Swollen skin, blisters, and lesions may then develop,
depending on the degree of exposure. Systemic symptoms, such as malaise, vomiting, and fever, may
also develop in extreme cases. Exposure to large amounts of liquid mustard agent may prove fatal.19
The eyes are also very sensitive to blister agents. Following exposure to high concentration vapor,
great pain, corneal damage, and scarring may occur. Liquid agent often causes the most severe eye
damage. This may come from contact with airborne droplets or by self contamination of the eyes from
contaminated clothing or body

World War Chapter 1
It is several hours since the meeting and Selison, now with his eyes sealed, Xasalamel and Zalminis
are standing in the president s private room in the UN headquarters along with one United States
General. Two armed guards are standing on either side of the wooden door. The room is a simple
square, almost like a hotel room, except instead of beds there is a large desk on the side opposite the
door and there aren t any windows. Several charts are around the room but nothing that could affect
national security. There is a whiteboard on one wall with many different numbers on it that Xasalamel

At least two actually, the bulk of the force and then just Kasol and a few of its best soldiers. Probably
no more than five or six. Now they aren t the problem because we know where they are going to be
but it s the large force that puzzles me, Xasalamel answers.
Where are they going to land? the general asks.
Wherever he is, Xasalamel says, pointing at Selison.
Why him? The general asks looking between the two of them.
Because I am the king of the Chaosns, Selison says leaning against the president s desk with his arms
folded. The general continues to look between the king and the god before Zalminis finally chimes in.
Okay, the general starts as he glances to the president who shrugs. How are we going to deal with this
war on two fronts?
I m taking Kasol personally. My brother and sister should be more than enough for whatever it brings
with it. Plus, I have some friends that have been training with my sister since before the sun rose

with clear focus.
True, Jade and Mary have been working very hard on both their bodies and the Words, Xasalamel says

The Influence Of The Nigerian Oil Production
The Nigerian oil production has been an issue that has become a cruse to the people for so many
years. According to reports, the oil production has lubricated to Nigeria s failure because it has
damaged the economy as well as the environment and democracy. Anyone would think that a country
that has an enormous resource of petroleum would be economically stable but this is not the case in
Nigeria. For many years Nigeria has suffered effects directly as well indirectly from the oil industry.
For my research I am drawing from two sets of sources. I will be referring to the books that I have

The book, The Influencing Machine: Brooke Gladstone on the Media, written by Brooke Gladstone is
a graphic novel that tries to decipher the rapidly changing media business and the way people interact
with it. It traces the origins of modern journalism back to the Mayans and walks through the
journalistic roots in the cultures of ancient Rome, Britain, and Revolutionary and early America. The
book then dives into contemporary media condition. The media has become something that we love

Year-Round Schooling Benefits
A 3 month summer vacation may sound great, but in reality it doesn t live up to the hype. Ironically,
students are given this large vacation time, but it forces working parents to take time off when they
have no other available supervision resources. Often times, they even have to come out of pocket
every month, or commonly even every week, just to put their children in safe programs, camps, and
clubs. Although when thinking of summer break, you generally foresee younger kids who cannot
watch themselves. This doesn t necessarily apply to teenagers, but year round schooling is balanced
wisely and offers more breaks periodically, which arguably benefits everything; benefits toward all

Additionally, teachers who work in year round schools report that they believe it is a positive
experience for them and their students. Also, they ve reported that they receive a break when they

teachers to obtain the workdays needed during grading periods. Markedly, students, even parents, have
positive outlooks on year round schooling by reason of the frequent breaks, giving them time to
rejuvenate and be prepared when they return back to school. Remediation is especially significant
when it comes to children retaining knowledge. Year round schooling allows for remediation to occur
periodically over the course of a school year, rather than just 3 months of summer break, which in
reality most kids aren t doing anything school related. For example, that 45 15 day schedule that year

Essay on Haimons Covert Scheme
Haimon has a certain tendency to be overlooked in Sophocles Antigone. At first he appears to be a
minor character, an accessory to the overt conflict occurring between Kreon and Antigone. We see
Haimon supporting his father, but soon thereafter in conflict with him. Haimon expresses disregard for
the life of his cold bride to be, yet is defined as being driven by lust. Several questions come up: who
does Haimon really support, what drives his actions, and what is his ultimate intent? Unraveling these
issues is a tricky task, but what we find is Haimon is far more than an accessory.
Haimon is introduced in third person, making his character easily overlooked and marginalized ...

Soon thereafter the pace of conversation heats up; attacks are short, blatant, and poignant. Haimon
clears the air, saying in justice I san see that you are wrong (743). The most revealing statement is
[Kreon] There is no way that you will marry her alive! [Haimon] Then she will die, in death
destroying someone else! (750). The third choral ode follows implying that Eros, the god of passionate
desire, rules Haimon. This is commonly interpreted as passion for Antigone, but that makes little
sense. Until this point, no affection has been expressed between Haimon and Antigone, just as this
does not appear to be affection. Before being led to her death, Antigone says No wedding hymn is my
lot; no marriage song sung for me (814). Its important to realize that Antigone doesn t express regret
that she will not be married to Haimon, or the breaking of their betrothal, just that she will never be
married in general. As Kreon stated and Haimon probably also knew, there are other plots of land for
[Haimon] to plow (569). Antigone doesn t express loss specific to Haimon, and Haimon likely
recognizes Antigone as a commodity. Given this information, is it a sound conclusion that Haimon s
passion is for Antigone, or that something else drives him?
The chorus is right, Eros drives Haimon, but where is that

Current Controversies Final Paper
Abortion, Interest Groups and Policy Development
I. INTRODUCTION In contemporary America it can be argued that nothing is more contentious and
controversial of an issue than abortion. From the vehement pro life movement to the impassioned pro
choice coalition, this policy issue is one that has become increasingly important in our society. This
debate has raised important questions regarding the value of human life, at what stage of development
does a fetus have it s constitutionally ensured rights take hold over that of the mother and at what
stage can a state start regulating abortions. Interest groups have become integral in the development of
policies that give women the right to have an abortion and some that restrict access to the procedure.
Legislators on both the federal and state level have been struggling for power over this issue and have
been fighting over who has jurisdiction over this area of public policy. The Supreme Court has ruled in
favor of abortion access while state governments have attempted to mandate transvaginal ultrasounds
and place safety restrictions that cause clinics to close and the debate has raised questions about the
moral foundations of America and it s citizens. Behind the scenes of all of this chaos none of these
entities are fully in control because interest groups are motivating them to behave in ways they may
not even realize. The abortion debate has gone so much further than just

U.s. Marine Corps And The Military
After watching this film for several times, a viewpoint comes into my mind that almost all of people
are not inborn soldiers, but it s quite clear that most of them could be soldiers through a series of
training in the army. Unlike a majority of jobs in our daily lives, soldiering could be more complicated
and it needs people to take a high level of risk in the war and even some people sacrifice their lives in
order to defend their countries rights and protect citizens safety. Therefore, many people may have
formed a false concept that only specific groups of people are suitable for selecting as soldiers. In fact,
anyone s son will do it and they can do it very well. In the end of this film, most soldiers family
members express that they are proud of their sons or daughters. That s because their sons or daughters
assume responsibility and make great contributions to the society.
The storyline of this film is about the basic training in the military. This film s scenario is about the
U.S. Marine Corps. In this film, it shows us the details of recruiting soldiers and some procedures
about how to train these young people into soldiers and killers. In the beginning of this film presents a
picture of the Soviet Union soldiers and also tells us that these people would be the U.S. soldiers, if

Kate Chopin Analytical Essay
The Story of an Hour by Kate Chopin is a short yet complex story, describing Mrs Mallard s feelings.
It focuses on the unfolding emotional state of Mrs Mallard after the news of her husbands death, and
has overflowing symbolism and imagery. It is an impressive literary piece that touches the readers
feelings and mind and allows the reader to have a connection to Mrs Mallard s emotional process.
Although the story is short, it is complete with each word carrying deep sense and meaning. It is
written in the 19th century, a time that had highly restrictive gender roles that forbade women to live
as they saw fit. Mrs Mallard experiences something not everyone during this time has the luck to

a fair, calm face (158) is sitting in the armchair with a dull stare in her eyes (158) which indicated of
intelligent thought (158). Reading this, the reader can form an idea of what Mrs Mallard looks like,
and we understand that there s something going on in Mrs Mallards head, something changing
everything in her mind. Mrs Mallard is still struggling to figure it out but she felt it, creeping out of
the sky, reaching towards her through the sounds, the scents, the color that filled the air . From this we
understand that she is beginning to realise it, and her soul is beginning to fill with happiness of
freedom, which is in all the sounds, smells and things she sees. For one moment, however, she is
somewhat afraid of feeling happy about her freedom and she was striving to beat it back with her will
(159). This shows that Mrs Mallard is a product of her time, and is striving to feel what is socially
accepted. She realizes that society would determine her thoughts of freedom inappropriate, but she can
t stop herself from feeling that way.
However, she knew that she would weep again when she saw the kind, tender hands folded in death
(159), but it s just a reaction, one that society expects her to have, and one that many have when
dealing with the death of someone they know. Chopin

Trauma In The Sorrow Of War
Specifically in American soldiers, Almost 31 percent of Vietnam veterans [...] have been affected by
PTSD ( PTSD ). This means many soldiers have gone through a traumatic experience during their
time of war. Merriam Webster defines trauma as A disordered psychic or behavioral state resulting
from severe mental or emotional stress or physical injury ( Trauma ). Kathleen M. O Connor, a
professor at Columbia Theological Seminary, states, Trauma Theory refers to a loose, interdisciplinary
conversation that investigates the lingering consequences of violence upon individuals and
communities (O Connor). The Sorrow of War by Bao Ninh can be analyzed through a Trauma lens by
asking what the causes and effects are of trauma, and if there are any signs of addiction to trauma.
Kien, the main character of the novel, goes through many grim events that ultimately lead him to
develop certain defense mechanisms and a type of addiction.
Trauma Theory reveals that Kien s sorrow is derived from the Vietnam war and events that happened
because of it. Maja Milatovic, a course coordinator at ANU college in Australia, states that Trauma
Theory has [...] connections to wider socio political frames such as survivor narratives (Milatovic).

Compatibilism Essays
There are 3 basic views that can be taken on the view of determinism, (1) deny its reality, either
because of the existence of free will or on independent grounds; (2) accept its reality but argue for its
compatibility with free will; or (3) accept its reality and deny its compatibility with free will.In this
paper I am going to be defending the view compatibilism, specifically W. T. Stace s view of
compatibilism.
Compatibilism is the idea that determinism is true, every event in the world is caused, and that free
will still exists. Stace defends this view by saying the problem is the definition of free will. The
current definition of what free will is a completely and wholly uncaused action. However this
obviously would be completely ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
There are a few criticisms that are brought up against this compatibles view; in fact Stace brings up
possible objections himself. The first that I will consider is that there are some cases that are
borderline. For example, if somebody has a gun and puts it to your head and commands you to do
something it seems that you would have to do it even though the person with the gun is not physically
forcing you to do it. However I do not believe this to be a borderline case at all, even if someone is
holding a gun to your head you are still making the decision to do whatever it is that they are telling
you to do. It is still of your own mental state that you will do it out of your own perceived state that
whatever they are asking you to do would be preferable to your own death. The second objection that
he presents is that if you could somehow know that somebody was going to do an action before they
did it (even though this itself is very hard to believe) then how could they have done otherwise.
However I do not understand how this is detrimental to this argument of compatibilism. Obviously if
someone somehow new 100% for sure that you were going to do something then to even ask if the
person could have done otherwise is completely absurd, they obviously would have, as in the first part
of the statement its said that they couldn t. Basically saying that hypothetically you will do an action

The Importance Of Learning A New Language
Importance of Learning a New Language
All over the world there is around 6,500 languages. Even so in America approximately 20% of
Americans speak another language other than English. This number is relatively low. Learning a new
language is and can be very beneficial. By learning a new language you can meet more people, have
more job opportunities, and introduce yourself to new cultures. Therefore, every person should make
it a life goal to learn another language excluding their native language.
First of all, Learning a new language gives you many more career and college choices. Considering
the fact that not a lot of Americans speak any other languages then Spanish it is rare and a rare skill to
have. Speaking another language looks great on job and college applications. Taking a language SAT
during high school makes your college application stand out, which will increase your chances of
getting into a good college.Alao for college admissions there is a number of scholarships for bilingual
students. This is a great reason to learn a new language because college can get very expensive but is a
thing that is almost necessary. Also the amount of jobs that can use bilingual employees is getting
higher and higher. For example when children move from foreign countries, they are placed in schools
where they can t speak the language, therefore they aren t able to understand teachers or other students

Building A Wireless Infrastructure Backbone System
Introduction
Currently much importance is given to optimizing business without affecting the production and
process. When a new distribution centre s build or an existing one is being upgraded with a warehouse
management system, a wireless network structure should be provided which need to be regarded as
the integral part of the process. This is an important part because connection issues may arise due to
lack in connectivity without wireless connection. Eventually this will impact the data collection
capabilities from other floors, mostly form the ground to top floor (Lu, W., Giannikas, V., McFarlane,
D., Hyde, J. (2014). A wireless network infrastructure building starts with a design and then with a
map which will describe the mapping of the wireless access points. It also needs to create a plan for
installing the cable which will run throughout the distribution centre. The reason behind this planning
is to build a wireless infrastructure backbone that will be implemented and which can have the
capability to support the whole planning in the distribution centre. To get proper wireless signals
throughout the premises a well planning of the wireless system is essential along with successful
implementation.
Planning and Implementation
Although it sound very easy to implement the whole process but the reality is that it involves lot of
elements and components which need to be taken care of while project implementation. Plenty of dos

Popular Music And Folk Music
Every culture has some tradition of music. Music is a part of both folk and popular culture traditions,
it can be utilized to illustrate the differences in the origin, diffusion, and distribution of folk and
popular culture. Music reflects a country s ethnic population through a diverse array of styles. Folk
and popular music shows the distinction in people s everyday lives. The more developed a country is
the more likely that MDC will have popular music and the less developed a country is the more likely
that LDC will have folk music. Folk music and Popular music have to do mainly with a country s
economic social and cultural status.
Folk songs tell a story or convey information about daily activities such as farming, life cycle events
(birth, death, and marriage), or mysterious events such as storms and earthquakes. Folk music has
origins dating back to 2697 BC in china, when the Emperor Huang Ti sent Ling Lun to cut bamboo
poles that would produce a sound matching the call of the phoenix bird. In reality, folk songs are
usually composed anonymously and transmitted orally. A song may be modified from one generation
to the next as conditions change, but the content is most often derived from events in daily life that are
familiar to the majority of the people. In Vietnam, where most people are subsistence farmers,
information about agricultural technology is conveyed through folk songs. An example of folk music
is the music of Jamaica. Mento draws from many of Jamaica s

Essay On Hoshin Kanri
1 Origins of the Hoshin Kanri model
To start with, it is highly obvious to describe the origins of how, where and when this management
model was established.
Hoshin Kanri as the name originally comes from Japan. Etymology of the name gives the following
origins of it Hoshin = methodology for setting strategic direction and Kanri = administration or
management . Therefore, it may be said that Hoshin Kanri translates into management of the
methodology for setting strategic direction. (mcts.com, 02.02.16).
Historically, the Hoshin Kanri policy was developed in Japan after World War II. Hoshin Kanri was
started in Japanese companies to rotate a PDCA (plan do check act) cycle of companywide size, and it
is the stage where top management displays its leadership. The main reason is the intensification of
competition in the corporate business environment. Japanese industry has been able to achieve

A Different View From Just Banning Guns
There have been problems with gun laws in the past. Most of them are ineffective or they never get
passed. Recently, gun laws have been surfacing around the news. President Barack Obama wants to
ban certain guns and attachments, but Obama is taking the wrong approach. Instead of banning guns
outright, which he cannot do because it is our second amendment right to own guns, he should
approach reducing gun violence in a different way. Here is a quote from John Ashman saying that
eliminating certain guns does not stop gun violence: All firearms by nature are deadly, so eliminating
certain kinds of firearms doesn t directly address the issue in any meaningful way (Ashman para. 2).
This is why we need to take a different view from just banning guns. I m here to propose a better bill

upon the world. This is why we need better laws to stop this kind of tragedy from happening. People
can get easy access to guns anywhere in the United States. The problem is that someone

  • 2. The Problem Of Pop Culture What pops into your mind first when you think of popular culture in today s day and age? The latest dirt on celebrities or the latest iPhone release? The latest controversial issue or the latest iTunes hit? Regardless, pop culture encompasses all four of these concepts and many more, which consume the world we live in each and every day. Think about education. At first thought, your mind may not make the connection between the newest Taylor Swift song and the highest ACT score, but the linkage between the two becomes undeniable when you dive deeper. Ponder this: each day millions of kids walk into school buildings across the United States, each of them glued to a little slice of pop culture, a.k.a. their phone. And each day these millions ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Pop culture butts in here, for it idolizes the elite. Pop culture tells those who take either of these college admission tests that those who score higher are better, and that is a detrimental effect on one s self esteem. Let s now focus specifically on what these dreaded tests value: rapid cognition. Malcolm Gladwell points out something many people don t realize, Snap judgements and rapid cognition take place behind a locked door (Blink 51). In other words, Gladwell says you don t know why your body tells you to do something or not to do something because those decisions are made behind a locked door. The ACT and SAT force their contenders to make numerous, rapid decisions because of their time constraint, which increases the amount of silly mistakes students could avoid if the tests allotted more time. Further, what the tests value frustrates many students because they deny the importance of practical intelligence, something psychologist Robert Sternberg defines as the particular skill that allows you to talk your way out of a murder rap, or convince your professor to move you from the morning to the afternoon section (Gladwell Outliers 101). Tying this into the pop culture aspect, how do you think unknown people suddenly become celebrities? Although most attain popularity from sheer talent, lots of them possess this practical intelligence, ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 3. Achieving Project Goals Simulation Achieving Project Goals Simulation Name Institutional Affiliation: Date: Achieving Project Goals Simulation How completing the simulation change my perspective of project management The completion of the stimulation has a critical impact on how I view the general outlook of project management in the society. Project management is a multifaceted activity that desires and requires diverse knowledge and skills from the concerned people. The simulation project had many considerations that took after manipulation of the natural skills and materials into meeting the elephant project. The directives that were of immense importance came from the knowledge and skills gained from the course materials and comparative approaches involved throughout the study period (Choudhury, 1988). After completing the project, I learnt immense skills and knowledge as regards going beyond extremes of time and activity in order to meet the objected and non objected calls of the project. The project on elephants had to be covered within the initial scope that was set during the creation of the project. In order to fulfill the needs and specifications of the project, the workers had to increase more of their attention, concentration, and determination. I perceive a project as a tedious and cheap avenue that can be accomplished if equitable plans have been set before its initialization. After completing the project, I developed innate skills and knowledge as regards management of challenges that ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 4. Religion, Judaism, And Islam The city of Jerusalem, located in the country of Israel, is considered to be one of the holiest cities on Earth. 890,428 individuals are currently living in the city ( Where is Jerusalem ). What makes Jerusalem such a holy land is because of its significance to three religions: Christianity, Judaism, and Islam ( History of Jerusalem ). While Jerusalem is considered the holy land , it is also a place that has endured countless wars, bloodshed, and controversy. The city has been ruled by infamous leaders and praised individuals, it is a city with a very rich history, and its history allows one to understand the vital role it plays in the Palestine Israel conflict. Abraham, the father of Judaism, is the root of Jerusalem s holiness. It is said that the Lord appeared to Abraham and said that a land (Jerusalem) would be given to both him and his descendants ( History of Jerusalem ). It is said God spoke to Abraham and set him through a series of trials in which Abraham proved time after time. His loyalty to the lord never faltered, and thus, Judaism was born ( Abraham ). Jews revere this man as the first person to teach the idea of monotheism, and it is Abraham as well, who is deeply rooted with the beginnings of Islam ( Abraham ). The Jewish king David captured the city of Jerusalem from the Jebusites about 1,000 years before the birth of Christ ( History of Jerusalem ). • 6. Cultural Appropriation In Pop Culture You see, the discussion surrounding appropriation takes on so many more layers than most think piece authors care to engage with layers that desperately need to be brought to the discussion (Jaikaran, Elizabeth). Movements that advocate the equality between races, religions, and cultures are extremely prominent in our modern day society (Cohen, Amanda). Cultural appropriation in pop culture allows for cultures to be spread and ultimately accepted by a wide variety of people. Undoubtedly, light is good. Without light man could not survive. Light is the ultimate cosmic force in this universe allowing man to progress and flourish. In the form of heat, light from the sun warms the Earth. Light, also, is the single most important factor influencing the growth and development of plants. One of the drawbacks of industrialization has been the significant depletion of the ozone layer. This depletion could have an incredibly devastating impact on the world and more specifically agriculture. In general, quot; plants are quite sensitive and fragile when confronted with ultraviolet increases quot; ( Zimmer, 1993, p.28 ). Words such as sensitivity and fragility only add to the urgency of the possible agricultural holocaust. One agricultural scientist remarked, quot; soybeans, tomatoes, tobacco, potatoes, corn, beans, and wheat are all especially sensitive to UV light quot; ( Jones, 1992, p.39 ). Since most of the mentioned crops are considered cash crops the economic aspect of lower crop yields could also spell disaster. Food supplies are surely in jeopardy when taking in to account that quot; more than two thirds of the plant species mainly crops tested for their reaction to ultraviolet light have been found to be damaged by it quot; ( Lean et al, 1990, p.97 ). An increase in ultraviolet light radiating towards plants accelerates the pace at which man must decide what to do with the dilemma of a booming and more ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

As Ferdinand de Saussure stated and is quoted on a University of Vermont educational website, All signs have two aspects: the signifier and the signified. The signifier is any material thing that signifies, e.g., words on a page, a facial expression, a picture, a bit of graffiti. The signified is the concept that a signifier refers to. In most cases the signified is in relation to the signifier in order to ensure the signified is able to relate to it s signifier. The same is applied to political signs, in relation the creator of the sign seeks to put emphasis on something that they wish the audience to connect the main idea of their sign too. Markedly, students, even parents, have positive outlooks on year round schooling by reason of the frequent breaks, giving them time to rejuvenate and be prepared when they return back to school. Remediation is especially significant when it comes to children retaining knowledge. Year round schooling allows for remediation to occur periodically over the course of a school year, rather than just 3 months of summer break, which in reality most kids aren t doing anything school related. For example, that 45 15 day schedule that year round follows, allows teachers to offer mini summer school classes for students who ve been struggling, which helps them get caught up by the end of a condensed break and ready to get back on track once school starts up again. Ultimately, this is why most students who attend a year round school perform higher academically. Also, many schools who practice this schedule, offer enrichment programs during on and off time periods throughout the year to help children to remediate on ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 26. Essay on Haimons Covert Scheme Haimon has a certain tendency to be overlooked in Sophocles Antigone. At first he appears to be a minor character, an accessory to the overt conflict occurring between Kreon and Antigone. We see Haimon supporting his father, but soon thereafter in conflict with him. Haimon expresses disregard for the life of his cold bride to be, yet is defined as being driven by lust. Several questions come up: who does Haimon really support, what drives his actions, and what is his ultimate intent? Unraveling these issues is a tricky task, but what we find is Haimon is far more than an accessory. Haimon is introduced in third person, making his character easily overlooked and marginalized ... Haimon clears the air, saying in justice I san see that you are wrong (743). The most revealing statement is [Kreon] There is no way that you will marry her alive! [Haimon] Then she will die, in death destroying someone else! (750). The third choral ode follows implying that Eros, the god of passionate desire, rules Haimon. This is commonly interpreted as passion for Antigone, but that makes little sense. Until this point, no affection has been expressed between Haimon and Antigone, just as this does not appear to be affection. Before being led to her death, Antigone says No wedding hymn is my lot; no marriage song sung for me (814). Its important to realize that Antigone doesn t express regret that she will not be married to Haimon, or the breaking of their betrothal, just that she will never be married in general. As Kreon stated and Haimon probably also knew, there are other plots of land for [Haimon] to plow (569). Antigone doesn t express loss specific to Haimon, and Haimon likely recognizes Antigone as a commodity. Given this information, is it a sound conclusion that Haimon s passion is for Antigone, or that something else drives him? The chorus is right, Eros drives Haimon, but where is that ... • 27. Abortion, Interest Groups And Policy Development Kasey Lewis Current Controversies Final Paper Abortion, Interest Groups and Policy Development I. INTRODUCTION In contemporary America it can be argued that nothing is more contentious and controversial of an issue than abortion. From the vehement pro life movement to the impassioned pro choice coalition, this policy issue is one that has become increasingly important in our society. This debate has raised important questions regarding the value of human life, at what stage of development does a fetus have it s constitutionally ensured rights take hold over that of the mother and at what stage can a state start regulating abortions. Interest groups have become integral in the development of policies that give women the right to have an abortion and some that restrict access to the procedure. Legislators on both the federal and state level have been struggling for power over this issue and have been fighting over who has jurisdiction over this area of public policy. The Supreme Court has ruled in favor of abortion access while state governments have attempted to mandate transvaginal ultrasounds and place safety restrictions that cause clinics to close and the debate has raised questions about the moral foundations of America and it s citizens. Behind the scenes of all of this chaos none of these entities are fully in control because interest groups are motivating them to behave in ways they may not even realize. The abortion debate has gone so much further than just ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Marine Corps And The Military After watching this film for several times, a viewpoint comes into my mind that almost all of people are not inborn soldiers, but it s quite clear that most of them could be soldiers through a series of training in the army. Unlike a majority of jobs in our daily lives, soldiering could be more complicated and it needs people to take a high level of risk in the war and even some people sacrifice their lives in order to defend their countries rights and protect citizens safety. Therefore, many people may have formed a false concept that only specific groups of people are suitable for selecting as soldiers. In fact, anyone s son will do it and they can do it very well. In the end of this film, most soldiers family members express that they are proud of their sons or daughters. That s because their sons or daughters assume responsibility and make great contributions to the society. The storyline of this film is about the basic training in the military. This film s scenario is about the U.S. Marine Corps. In this film, it shows us the details of recruiting soldiers and some procedures about how to train these young people into soldiers and killers. In the beginning of this film presents a picture of the Soviet Union soldiers and also tells us that these people would be the U.S. soldiers, if their grandparents had immigrated to the United States. Reading this, the reader can form an idea of what Mrs Mallard looks like, and we understand that there s something going on in Mrs Mallards head, something changing everything in her mind. Mrs Mallard is still struggling to figure it out but she felt it, creeping out of the sky, reaching towards her through the sounds, the scents, the color that filled the air . From this we understand that she is beginning to realise it, and her soul is beginning to fill with happiness of freedom, which is in all the sounds, smells and things she sees. For one moment, however, she is somewhat afraid of feeling happy about her freedom and she was striving to beat it back with her will (159). This shows that Mrs Mallard is a product of her time, and is striving to feel what is socially accepted. She realizes that society would determine her thoughts of freedom inappropriate, but she can t stop herself from feeling that way. However, she knew that she would weep again when she saw the kind, tender hands folded in death (159), but it s just a reaction, one that society expects her to have, and one that many have when dealing with the death of someone they know. • 33. Compatibilism Essays There are 3 basic views that can be taken on the view of determinism, (1) deny its reality, either because of the existence of free will or on independent grounds; (2) accept its reality but argue for its compatibility with free will; or (3) accept its reality and deny its compatibility with free will.In this paper I am going to be defending the view compatibilism, specifically W. T. Stace s view of compatibilism. Compatibilism is the idea that determinism is true, every event in the world is caused, and that free will still exists. Stace defends this view by saying the problem is the definition of free will. The current definition of what free will is a completely and wholly uncaused action. However this obviously would be completely ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... There are a few criticisms that are brought up against this compatibles view; in fact Stace brings up possible objections himself. The first that I will consider is that there are some cases that are borderline. For example, if somebody has a gun and puts it to your head and commands you to do something it seems that you would have to do it even though the person with the gun is not physically forcing you to do it. However I do not believe this to be a borderline case at all, even if someone is holding a gun to your head you are still making the decision to do whatever it is that they are telling you to do. It is still of your own mental state that you will do it out of your own perceived state that whatever they are asking you to do would be preferable to your own death. The second objection that he presents is that if you could somehow know that somebody was going to do an action before they did it (even though this itself is very hard to believe) then how could they have done otherwise. However I do not understand how this is detrimental to this argument of compatibilism. Obviously if someone somehow new 100% for sure that you were going to do something then to even ask if the person could have done otherwise is completely absurd, they obviously would have, as in the first part of the statement its said that they couldn t. Basically saying that hypothetically you will do an action with ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 36. Building A Wireless Infrastructure Backbone System Introduction Currently much importance is given to optimizing business without affecting the production and process. When a new distribution centre s build or an existing one is being upgraded with a warehouse management system, a wireless network structure should be provided which need to be regarded as the integral part of the process. This is an important part because connection issues may arise due to lack in connectivity without wireless connection. Eventually this will impact the data collection capabilities from other floors, mostly form the ground to top floor (Lu, W., Giannikas, V., McFarlane, D., Hyde, J. (2014). A wireless network infrastructure building starts with a design and then with a map which will describe the mapping of the wireless access points. It also needs to create a plan for installing the cable which will run throughout the distribution centre. The reason behind this planning is to build a wireless infrastructure backbone that will be implemented and which can have the capability to support the whole planning in the distribution centre. To get proper wireless signals throughout the premises a well planning of the wireless system is essential along with successful implementation. Music is a part of both folk and popular culture traditions, it can be utilized to illustrate the differences in the origin, diffusion, and distribution of folk and popular culture. Music reflects a country s ethnic population through a diverse array of styles. Folk and popular music shows the distinction in people s everyday lives. The more developed a country is the more likely that MDC will have popular music and the less developed a country is the more likely that LDC will have folk music. Folk music and Popular music have to do mainly with a country s economic social and cultural status. Folk songs tell a story or convey information about daily activities such as farming, life cycle events (birth, death, and marriage), or mysterious events such as storms and earthquakes. Folk music has origins dating back to 2697 BC in china, when the Emperor Huang Ti sent Ling Lun to cut bamboo poles that would produce a sound matching the call of the phoenix bird. In reality, folk songs are usually composed anonymously and transmitted orally. A song may be modified from one generation to the next as conditions change, but the content is most often derived from events in daily life that are familiar to the majority of the people. • 40. A Different View From Just Banning Guns There have been problems with gun laws in the past. Most of them are ineffective or they never get passed. Recently, gun laws have been surfacing around the news. President Barack Obama wants to ban certain guns and attachments, but Obama is taking the wrong approach. Instead of banning guns outright, which he cannot do because it is our second amendment right to own guns, he should approach reducing gun violence in a different way. Here is a quote from John Ashman saying that eliminating certain guns does not stop gun violence: All firearms by nature are deadly, so eliminating certain kinds of firearms doesn t directly address the issue in any meaningful way (Ashman para. 2). This is why we need to take a different view from just banning guns. I m here to propose a better bill that will affect our citizens for a long period of time. This bill will decrease gun violence in the United States without taking guns out of the equation. Gun laws that are ineffective have had a large impact on this age. More school shootings and more violence has happened due to the horrible laws in place. The laws are not stopping any violence at all. Try imagining people getting murdered with guns, the shooter with total disregard for life. He brutally shoots people many times to release his frustration upon the world.
