ABSTRACT Current Method of speech enhancement has been developed with adaptive filtering
approach. The removal of unwanted signal i.e. noise from speech signals have applications ranging
from cellular communications to front ends for speech recognition system. This paper describes
proficient algorithm for removal of noise from speech. An optimal evaluation of LMS based adaptive
filtering has been implemented for the observed noisy speech. This Algorithm is basic adaptive
algorithm. This Adaptive algorithm has been used in many practical applications as a result of its
robustness and simplicity. In Future Enhancement Unbiased and Normalized Adaptive noise reduction
