damnation he feels within his own personal life. Unfortunately, Dimmesdale believed he was
condemned to hell because he kept his secret about the love he felt for Hester from the community
which ultimately, drove him insane. The novel states, The result in this life could only be to drive
the minister insane and, in the afterlife, to permanently separate him from the Good and True

grounds that 51,000 men had died on. It was a hot summer day; I was tired, hungry, sick of
walking, and was wondering if this very long field trip would ever end. The men that fought on
this battle field felt the same way during the summer of 1863. From reading Killer Angels and
The Pickett s Charge Nobody Knows, I have a much better perception and understanding of what
actually happened during the war. Before my readings, I thought there were the good guys who
won and the bad guys who lost. I now understand on a deeper level what those men on both sides
of the battle field were going through, and that they were men of God that were not only fighting
for what they believed in but also for each other. Killer Angels is a particularly moving novel that
is told from alternating points of view of several important men that played major roles during
this war. Michael Sharra taught me what it would actually be like to be a soldier during the Civil
War. Sharra provides many detailed maps of both army s positions, which gave me a better idea of
where the men were posted, where they were headed, and which rout of attack the generals had
their men on. Throughout the book I was shown the pain that these men went through, how loyal
these men were to their duty, and how important each decision that each general made on the battle

Justice signed in 1920, which are unitary parts of United Nation Chapter.
The International Court of Justice is composed of 15 judges elected to nine year terms of office by
receiving an absolute majority of the votes in both United Nations General Assembly and the
Security Council. One third of the Court is elected every three years. For balancing the regional and
legal distribution, 3 judges are from Asia, 2 from Latin America and Caribbean, 3 from Africa, 2
from Eastern Europe, and 5 from Western Europe, Northern America and Oceania in general. The

In the past one hundred years, the human life expectancy has increased by thirty years. This
trend continues to rise (Hooyman Kiyak, 2018). As a direct result, the amount of elderly people
in our society will also rise. At first glance, this may seem like a positive growth in our society.

The National Salvation Front (FSN), led by Ion Iliescu, comprised the new provisional government.
Iliescu gained popularity by proclaiming his role in the death of CeauЕџescu and championing a
new one party democracy (Wolchik and Cury 318). CeauЕџescu s legacy and the lack of political
competition in Romania led the citizen s of Romania to believe in the empty promises of reform
made by the FSN and Iliescu. The National Salvation Front promised to be a transitional
government and to offer free and fair elections (Wolchik and Cury 317). In May 1990, they
offered free, but unfair elections in which Iliescu won the presidency with over 85% of the vote
and the FSN won a majority of parliament with 66% of the vote (Vachudova 41). Iliescu quickly
proved to be anti CeauЕџescu, but not anti communist. Immediately after his election in 1990,
Iliescu began to concentrate his power by appointing communists to government positions, ousting
non communists, and taking control of the media (Vachudova 45). Anti Iliescu demonstrations in
Bucharest began in response and Iliescu sent miners to violently oppress the demonstrations (Linz
and Stepan 361). Iliescu continued to demonstrate that he would not allow a strong opposition. A
small number of opposition groups managed to exist in Romania; however, they were small and

with the attacker he said that the killer had a mustache. However the last two witnesses that
encountered the man jogging away from the gas station stated that the man had no beard or visible
