a form of punishment until a few decades ago, 1972 to be exact. On the contrary,
by only having one state to support his claim, it adds less validity. It shows the

a different form of support because it does not convince the audience as much as it

Since there are different social classes, the lower classes are frequently subjected
to harsh conditions by the upper classes. The upperclassmen live more comfortable

wealth. This means the lower class is forced to work harder to make a living.
Often times, the work the lower classmen are forced to do are extremely straining,

redevelopment of the key facilities at Burnham Military Camp (NZS_BHM).
Despite NZS_BHM being long neglected, it will now be redeveloped as New
Zealand s major military training base and as a relief centre for natural disasters.
This means the in camp population is going to increase from 1500 to 3000 by 2030,
placing more demand on the camps already deteriorating infrastructure (NZDF,
personal communication).
Due to Burnham becoming New Zealand s major military training base it is required

redevelopment must be both resilient in the face of natural disasters and sustainable.
This brings many constraints and engineering challenges to the project when

care unit related to the fact that they must have closely monitored blood glucose

Citizenship is a broad term in which has been changed and morphed into a general

Artists often use their personal perceptions as a stimulus for their artwork. They are
able to use their work to express a certain viewpoint they may have on a subject.
Well renowned artists, Odilon Redon and David Hockney have both manipulated
their artistic abilities to express their perceptions through their work with their art
movements. Redon is a renowned 18th 19th century French symbolist artist whose
works revolve around his dreams, fantasy and imagination, The Cyclops (1914),
being one of his most recognised paintings. David Hockney is a painter and
photographer and is considered one of the most influential British artists of the 20th
century, a prime example of his work being, A Bigger Splash (1966.) Both artworks
reflect the artist s personal perceptions and contain similarities and differences with
their movements, intentions and use of stylistic features.
At the beginning of his career, Redon s works were exclusively in black and white
in lithographic prints and charcoal. His works consisted of a monochromatic colour
scheme representing symbolism in his unusual dreamlike creations, called noirs. In
an interview, Redon stated that his noirs are his most personal expressions. These
works were a product of his creative imagination of depictions of his knowledge and
perception on evolution theories, presented by Charles Darwin at the time. The noirs
were also a reflection on his pessimism and melancholy, particularly as a child, and a
representation of how he views the world. Contradictory to his early works, Redon
transfigured into non naturalistic colour themed pastels and oil paintings. Many of
these oeuvres were abstract, generally constructed of an ethereal chromatic

One night he made a remark about the sister of Frank Galluciano, and Galluciano
slashed Capone s face with a pocketknife, leaving three large scars on the left side
of his face. For much of his criminal career, newspapers would call Capone by the
hated name Scarface . On December 18, 1918, Capone was wed at the age of 19,
to a 21 year old Irish girl named Mae Coughlin. A short time later Albert Francis
Capone was born. At the same time this was going on, in New York Johnny Torrio
moved his operations to Chicago. Torrio s prospects in New York looked dim
because Capone was indicted for two murders. He was released when a witness lost
her memory, and evidence suddenly vanished from the court. Al Capone knew that
he had Johnny Papa Torrio to thank for this. A few days later, Capone got into a
scruff with another man and killed him. Rather than being indicted again, Capone
called Torrio and received an invitation to move to Chicago. So he packed up his
wife and child and did just that.
Upon arrival in Chicago, Capone was given a job as a bartender at Torrio s newest
club, The Four Deuces. Capone was known as an aggressive and hospitalized most
of the drunks he evicted. Men were hospitalized with broken arms, broken legs,
skull fractures, and on one occasion even blood poisoning because Capone bit
through the skin directly into the man s artery. Capone was repeatedly arrested for
assault, but was always released thanks to Torrio s police
