Neighbourhood Essay
Crafting an essay on the topic of "Neighbourhood" presents both challenges and opportunities
for expression. On one hand, the familiarity of the subject might seem reassuring, as it is
something we encounter in our daily lives. However, this proximity can also make it challenging
to approach the topic with the necessary depth and originality.
Capturing the essence of a neighborhood involves more than just describing its physical
attributes. It requires a nuanced exploration of the community's social dynamics, cultural
diversity, and the unique stories that unfold within its boundaries. This complexity demands a
careful balance between personal reflection and broader societal context.
Furthermore, the challenge lies in avoiding clichГ©s and stereotypes that often accompany
discussions about neighborhoods. The danger is in succumbing to a superficial portrayal,
overlooking the intricacies that make each neighborhood distinct. Striking the right tone and
finding a fresh perspective can be an arduous task.
Additionally, the essay must navigate the delicate balance between celebrating the positive
aspects of a neighborhood and acknowledging its challenges. Addressing issues like
gentrification, social inequality, or community tensions requires a thoughtful and sensitive
approach.
The process of writing such an essay involves thorough research to provide a comprehensive
understanding of the neighborhood, coupled with the creativity to weave a compelling narrative.
It demands not only writing skills but also an ability to observe, analyze, and interpret the subtle
nuances that shape the community.
In conclusion, while writing an essay on the topic of "Neighbourhood" may seem straightforward
at first glance, delving into the intricacies and presenting a nuanced perspective can be a
formidable task. It demands a careful blend of personal experience, research, and creativity to
bring forth a narrative that goes beyond the surface. It's an endeavor that requires time, effort,
and a genuine passion for exploring the tapestry of human interactions within a community.

Cover Songs Comparison
In the music industry, it is not uncommon for original songs to be rerecorded and
altered by other artists resulting in what is known as a cover song. One example of
this situations occurrence can be seen in Vance Joy s indie folk pop song, Riptide ,
that was famously covered by pop and country crossover artist, Taylor Swift. Overall,
there are many factors that go into the relationship between an original and cover song
and the artists of each song. Such as both artist s connection to the song and the
relationship between the artists themselves. There are also differences between
the original and cover songs themselves including song structure, instrumentation,
vocals, lyrics, and lyrical meaning. Vance Joy and Taylor Swift met for the first
time backstage in New York at the Late Night Show with David Letterman
(Whitney). By the time for their first meeting, Swift had already covered Joy s hit
single, Riptide , on a British radio station and announced her invitation for Joy to
join her as the opening act on her international 1989 tour (Adams). Though Joy is
an indie folk pop singer and Swift a country, pop singer, the two managed to join
their audiences together and create continued mass popularity for Riptide as well as
promote listeners of both genres to hear the two perform at the 1989 tour. As Joy
was used to performing in smaller venues, the packed auditoriums that Swift s tour
filled were a new experience for him and encouraged him to step outside his
Problem Statement In An Investigation
The meaning of problem statement in an investigation varies according to different
sources. Bryman (2007) states that a problem statement is a clear statement about the
topic of interest, a condition that can be improved, an obstacle to be removed, or a
problematic theoretical question that is present in scholarly literature. It may also be
present in existing fields that has a need for more comprehensive understanding and
research. A problem statement does not state the method of doing something, offer
generalised proposition, or provide a value question. It serves several purposes, the
first is introducing the reader to the importance of the topic being researched on.
Secondly, it ensures that the topic is placed into a particular or narrowed context that
defines the parameters of the research topic. Thirdly, it serves to provide a framework
for the researcher to report the result and shows the probable requirements needed to
conduct the study and provide explanation on how the findings... Show more content

The first is called Casuist research problem which is about the right and wrongs
when it comes to matters of conduct and conscience. This is done through
analysing moral dilemmas by applying general rules and carefully differentiating
special cases. Next, is the Difference research problem which is commonly used to
compare or contrast between two or more cases. It is mostly used in clinical social
sciences or behavioural sciences as an approach to define the problem. Thirdly,
Descriptive research problem attempts to describe the significance of a situation,
state or existence of particular phenomenon by asking what is...? It is usually
applied to reveal hidden or understudied issues. Lastly, there is relational research

The Benefits Of College After College
After graduating, college is one of the biggest decisions in a person s life, and debt
is just an extra item that comes along with it. 66% of students from state funded
colleges leave school with debt, and 75% of students at private colleges leave with
debt. Those percentages are extremely high, and I do not want to have too much debt
when I leave school. One great way to help pay debts is to take a break year and
work full time, for working for a year in between highschool and collegeis great for
students. Working full time before colleges gives students the chance to make money,
and it provides more financial stability throughout college. Working full time also
allows students to learn many skills, and provides good experience in the workplace.
Relationships can also be earned by working before college, and relationships with
different companies through internships and working for them help obtaining a job
after school. Entering school right after graduating can be effective, but working is
far more beneficial for students. College debt is a massive problem with many
students, but working full time for a year can help eliminate the debts. After
highschool graduation, many students are going straight into college, and they do not
have any funds to support them. These students need money for simple things such as
food, but they did not work, and for that reason they cannot afford even the simplest
of things. Throughout college, money is one of the most important things a
Fice And Parks And Recreation
The Office and Parks and Recreation are two widely popular shows that capture their
audiences with their unique story lines, mockumentary style, and captivating
characters. These two shows have won many awards and are praised by critics and
viewers. When analyzing these shows it was important to pay attention to their
narrative structure. Also, breaking the fourth wall gave these shows a twist that was
different from other situation comedies. The characters are loveable and funny and
truly develop the simple plots. The Officeand Parks and Recreation are two situation
comedies with a firm grasp on the concept of narrative structure with intriguing
characters that have developed through their many seasons. The Office and Parks and
Recreation have succeeded in many aspects. They have been nominated numerous
times, won many awards, have positive reviews all over the internet, and continued
their show throughout many years. Both of these shows are situation comedies in the
workplace environment. The Office is based in Scranton, Pennsylvania and it is a
functioning paper company called Dunder Mifflin. The show was created as a faster
paced, Americanized version of the British version of The Office (TV.com). A
documentary film crew came in to this paper company to follow the lives of the
employees and their work led by regional manager, Michael Scott (IMDb). The
Office has had nine seasons with two hundred and one episodes total (NBC). The

The Giving Tree Book Report
The Giving Tree is a book written by Shel Silverstein about a relationship between
a boy and a tree. As a young boy, the tree allowed him to swing on her branches, eat
apples that she grew, and they would play hide and seek together. Every few days
the boy would come back and ask for certain things, and the treewould always try to
give him what he wanted because she loved the boy so much. Throughout the story,
as the boy gets older he spends less time with the tree but continues to request things
from her.
The theme of this story is that it is better to give than to receive. The tree gives freely
to the boy throughout the story without wanting anything in return. The boy receives
different things from the tree as he gets older. She enjoys spending time with ... Show

The tree never got upset with the boy if he asked for anything that she had. She didn t
want the boy to be sad because that would make her sad. When the tree knew that the
boy needed something, she always tried to give him the things that she had without
any argument.
At the end of the book the tree apologizes to the boy because she can t give
anything else away because she already let the boy take her apples, her branches,
and her leaves. The book proves that the tree was sad because she had nothing left for
the boy to take.
Instead of letting the boy suffer, the tree made the boy s life a little simpler by
giving things. When the boy needed a house the tree said I have no house, . The
forest is my house, but you may cut off my branches and build a house. Then you
will be happy. Since the tree couldn t give the forest to the boy, she gave him pieces
of herself so that the boy could have a house to keep him warm. The boy stayed away
from the tree for a long time but the tree didn t care as long as the boy was happy.
I feel that it is more important to give than to receive because it is a way to help the
Essay On Las Vegas Natural History Museum
For my first project I chose to visit a local museum, one that is quit popular Nevada,
known as the Las Vegas Natural History Museum. This museum was a natural
history based museum, meaning that exhibits show cased things such as,
international wildlife to the treasures of Egypt. Provided that, the museum showed a
great variation of artifacts, thus capturing the attention of all age groups. Also, the
way in which in which the items where displayed showed just how much character
could be in one building. Therefore, I am going to be expressing how artifacts and
their context were displayed, where the item where from and the authentication of
the displays, if any moral or ethical issues were expressed in any of the displays, and
lastly what exhibit and artifact I found to be the most interesting. First, I would like
to start by communicating how items and their context were displayed. For majority
of the exhibits, artifact and animals were arranged in natural behavioral was, meaning
that animals and items were shown as if they were engaging in natural physical
manner. For example, in the exhibit if International Wildlife, animals were displayed
interacting with one another as they would in the wilderness. As far as the context,
artifacts were briefly... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
I was very satisfied with my experience there, and consider the museum to be a
treasure of Las Vegas. I found that the museum itself displays a more sophisticated
side of Las Vegas, and should be advertised more. I also enjoy the fact that it
appeals to every age, adult and children, having such a large variety of exhibits. I
will definitely be visiting the museum again in the near future and plan on taking my
family, for I believe they would love it just as much as I did. Therefore, I believe that
everyone could learn more about natural history at this museum, and also engage in
the exhibits as
Watership Down Quotes
In the downs of a small farm, two rabbits are preparing to flee their warren in order
to escape men come to kill them. Richard Adam s Watership Down follows these
two rabbits Hazel and Fiver as they gather a following and make their way across
the farmland to safety. The band of misfits looks to Hazel for guidance, and he
leads them to their haven: a warren atop the hills where the rabbits are safe and
sound. However, the need to keep the warren going pushes the rabbits to continue
exploring and find does in other warrens. While looking, they meet the Efrafa
warren. This warren is lead by General Woundwort, and immediately the two
parties are at odds with one another. The most noticeable difference is between the
leaders of the two warrens: Hazel and General Woundwort. Both Hazel and
General Woundwort are cunning; however, the leaders use their wits in different
ways. Hazel uses his wit for the betterment of his people, while General Woundwort
uses his to control and oppress his people. Some leaders are born into their
position, others rise to the occasion, and a small few seize the position themselves
the latter of the three describe both Hazel and General Woundwort. Their
motivation is what separates them. Hazel takes charge of his warren to protect
them, while General Woundwort climbs up the ladder of power using any means
available. In the beginning, Hazel s warren did not have a leader. It was merely a
band of misfit rabbits trying to leave their warren. Hazel proves himself a leader
when the Owsla, or rabbitpolice, come to arrest the rabbits that try to leave. After a
fight breaks out, Hazel steps forward to protect his brothers, Go, said Hazel, firmly
and quietly, Or we ll kill you (21). Hazel believes that if there is no way to get his
people out safely, then they will have to go out fighting. The instinct to protect and
fight for his people is how Hazel becomes the leader of his warren. His brave actions
make him becomes the Chief Rabbit of his warren. Hazel did not seek leadership, he
simply led. In contrast to this natural leadership, General Woundwort is more power
hungry and ruthless. He is the tyrant of his warren Efrafa. The narrator tells the story
of General Woundwort and how his

Academic Writing Styles
Academic writing
Proper academic writing should demonstrate the students understanding of the subject
at hand. (Elton, 2010) adds that because academic writing may defer from discipline
to discipline, instructors in schools have a duty to express their expectations of
students writing while students on the other hand should act on it.
Academic writing is logical
The student s work needs to have a introduction, the body and the conclusion. The
introduction gives a background to the topic and one could include interesting facts
and quotations. It is important to outline the main ideas that are in the body. The
student then discusses the main points in the body. This is done in paragraphs which
should be well structured to give a coherent argument. The conclusion is the final
paragraph and must briefly summarise every idea discussed in the body.
Other s works
Academic writing builds on what others have done on the same subject. A student
therefore needs to base his work on his own ideas as well as what others have done
and thought about, however, students should take care not to get lost in another
scholar s voice but should instead incorporate the information so as to maintain the
novelty of his argument. (Hampton, 2014) states that another scholar s work should
be fully acknowledged by accurate citation.
Academic writing is objective
Academic writing is objective (A. De Montfort University Website, 2014) states that
one needs to write in the third person and avoid
Labelling Theories Contribution to the Sociological...
Labelling Theories Contribution to the Sociological Understanding of Crime and
Deviance Becker is the main sociologist studying labelling theory on deviance, he
argues that social groups create deviance by making the rules whose infraction
constitutes deviance. Meaning acts only become deviant when observers perceive
it and define it as deviant. An example of this would be the act of nudity, it is
accepted in the bedroom between husband and wife or on a nudist camp, but when a
stranger was to enter the bedroom, or someone was to streak across a sporting event,
others would usually see this as deviant, and this deviancy would become a label on
the individual. Several factors affect what the... Show more content on

Which in turn could turn into a self fulfilling prophecy because of being identified
with the label and it becomes controlling. Once these steps have occurred, what
Becker describes as the deviant career is completed when the individual joins an
organised deviant group and thus accepting their identity of being deviant.
However, this is not by any means inevitable and some of those who started out as
convicts or drug addicts can become straight and get jobs or quit their habits. When
Becker identified that he took a sequential approach he means how he explains
deviance and at any stage in the sequence of his explanation it is possible that the
deviant will re enter conventional society. Lemmert also uses the interactionist
perspective in his view of labelling, outlining primary and secondary deviance,
primary being the act before it is publicly labelled and secondary being the response
of the individual or deviant to the reactions of others in society. But he sees the
agents of social control to blame for deviance rather than the traditional views of the
blame lying with the deviant individual or group. This labelling theory has
contributed two concepts to help understand the relationship between media and
crime: В· Deviancy amplification, Lesley Wilkins points out that a response to
deviant acts by media and the police can actually

According to the article The Korean Language in America , Cultural identity is
formed by the complex configuration of one s awareness of one s own culture and a
recognition of the social group to which one belongs in practice. (117). Everyone has
an identity that was created by culture. Everyone have a culturethat they were born
into, sometimes with a mix of two or three cultures. Each culture has different values
and traditions that conflict a person s decision in life. However, having different
cultures make one interesting to learn about and explore the cultures. Cultures define
my life with romance, traditions, language, and friendship.

Standard State Conservation Districts Law (1931-1939)
The Government started out in 1934 with the Taylor Grazing Act, which set
restrictions on the use of public lands for grazing, followed by a switch from free
ranging cattle to feedlots (Naff). On March 3, 1937, Arkansas became the first state
to enact the Standard State Conservation Districts Law (Dust Bowl 1931 1939).
Other men started a business of erupting TNT in the sky to encourage rainfall
(Surviving the Dust Bowl). President Roosevelt ordered the Civilian Conservation
Corps to plant trees from Canada to Abilene, Texas, in a huge belt of more than two
million to break the wind, hold water in the soil, and keep the soil itself in place.

Have you ever gotten on a family trip and wondered if it could possibly change the
way you perceive life? Well, let me tell you that this exact matter happened to me
the last Fourth of July. When you are in your teenager years a person only thinks of
one point and that s you, yourself, and you again. That s what I had on my mind
before going to this marvelous trip, but how I saw my future before I went, and how I
saw it when I came back and were very different. How could a mere and inoffensive
family trip become such an important change in my life?

What I didn t count on was the fact that I was going to be swimming among them in

view while passing from inside the toboggan is one am never going to forget and
how could I if this trip was being my first time in so many ways; It was my first
time outside the U.S, also it was my first time on a cruise, and not to mention my first
time swimming with sharks.
The next element that called my attention was something called the White party, it
consisted of a truly big party on the deck of the boat where every single person was
supposed to dress in white and greed the captain and the crew. The next day we
went to a private island, regardless to say that it had also been my first time on a

surfing, snorkeling, and even biking. After spending the day there we went back to

Fantastic Four Failure
After viewing the most recent rendition of Fantastic Four, directed by Josh Trank, it
is nearly impossible for one to contend that the film was not a disaster. From ongoing
inconsistencies to poor special effects to nonsensical plot points, Fantastic Four failed
to deliver quality in almost every element of the film. However, there were a number
of causes behind the scenes that led to the film s collapse, including the misguided
narrative direction of the film, the uncompromising tension between director Josh
Trank and 20th Century Fox, and Trank s destructive and sophomoric behavior during
and following the production process. To begin, it is essential to consider just how
poorly executed Fantastic Four was. Without getting into too many... Show more

Stories of Trank s emotionally and physically destructive behavior emerged quite

The Cambodian Genocide In Cambodia
Who is to decide whether or not a life should be taken? Should the decision lie in
the hands of your God , in the hands of the rich and powerful, or in the hands of a
random stranger? Well, a man by the name of Pol Pot decided to take it upon
himself to bring about the end of the lives of 2.3 million people. This mass killing
was/is known as the Cambodian Genocide, which began in the year 1975, and
continued for four years before ending in 1979. The Genocide was carried out by Pol

Good Friends Essay
What is a friend? A friend is a person whom one knows and with whom one has a
bond of mutual affection. Calling someone a friend is the second thing to calling

you into doing better things in life. You need good people like this in your people
who make you better as a person. Let us talk about Friends, Good Friends, and

Ms. Viorst also talks about convenience friends in her essay. What is a convenience

a mall or a supermarket and you see the women that sales jewelry in the middle of
the mall every day and you both each lunch together. You usually eat only but today
you do not want to so you sit beside her to start a conversation. You will think over
time you will be close friends but you are not because you only friends because it
benefits you not eating alone. Ms. Viorst said, With convenience friends, ever
come to close or tell too much. This is important because this shows our
boundaries with our convenience friend. For example, I had a friend that I worked

each other. When we were working, we always talked about how we are sick of
our job and were ready to quit knowing that both of us needed it. Another quote from

Perfect Island Objection by Anselm of Canterbury
Due to the preconceptions I have concerning Anselm s Ontological Argument, as
learnt through course research and lectures. I will like Descartes in his First
Meditation , put these preconceptions to one side and present an essay that explores
both sides of the argument in an attempt to reach an independent conclusion.
However, I hope to reach the same conclusion as I had before that is, that the
Ontological Argumentcan be refuted on the basis that there exists a fundamental
dissimilarity between the concept of existencein our minds, and that of existence in
reality. This essay will present two objections to Anselm s Ontological argument,
namely, the Perfect Island Objection and the Existence is not a Predicate objection,
whilst... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
But this is not to say that they exist as things other than whatever it is that physically
constitutes that person s thoughts, so perhaps we can grant Anselm s argument
soundness so far.
Anselm now notices that there is a contradiction between his definition of God,
and the assumption that God does not exist. If his definition of God demands
absolute, unlimited greatness, then a God who does not exist in realty could be
said to be inferior to a God that does indeed exist in reality. In our imagining of a
God that exists both in our understanding and in reality, we are imagining a being of
which its greatness supersedes our first conception of a non existing God. Thus,
according to Anselm s argument, our previous assumption that God does not exist in
reality must in fact be false. Therefore Anselm concludes that God must exist in
reality, because if this was not the case, we would be imagining a being greater than
the greatest possible being we could imagine a contradiction no less. So where do the
weaknesses in the Ontological argument lie?
The first main objection I will raise is what most Philosophers refer to as the perfect
island objection , a version first formally proposed by the 11th century French monk,
Gaunilo, in which he named the Lost Island refutation. This objection attempts to use
the same form as Anselm s reductio argument, only with the aim of proving the
existence of a perfect island, rather than

The movie follows a sixteen year old teenager named Juno. She often hangs out

film. Even when she gets pregnant she tries to create an attitude that in turn changes
how she acts around her friends and family. Bleeker however really tries to let the
mother do all of the work and he even tries to put this thing aside as evidenced during
one of the running segments. These two are the main characters since I think the film
is mainly about the relationship between both of them. How Juno and Bleeker s
relationship is presented towards the audience takes a turn during the ending
sequence in which it is revealed that both of them had developed feelings towards
each other. In the beginning however it s shown that Bleeker may like Juno in this
way but it appears as if he would not have the courage to confront
The Pros And Cons Of Standardized Testing
There is a major controversy over standardized achievement testing that has now
called for students, parents, educators, and communities to become involved. The
United States is lacking in education from a worldwide viewpoint. The United States
currently ranks 17th among 50 other global education systems (Gayathri). If America
continues to fall behind, then the educational gap between races will continue to
expand. Is the solution to the United States falling behind globally? It s to increase
standardized tests.
Standardized tests play a major role in education today, whether they are achievement
tests measuring subject specific knowledge or aptitude tests measuring scholastic
readiness. The goal of the assessments is to provide a yardstick to evaluate student
performance across state standards. (Concordia University Portland 2017)
The No Child Left Behind Act and the Common Core State Standards Initiative are
prominent examples of test based accountability policies. The practice has ignited a
debate about their effectiveness and how well this kind of test measures student
achievement. (Concordia University Portland 2017)
A standardized test is an examination that s scored and administered in a
predetermined manner. (Popham 1999) Present day, standardized test is ...any
objective test, or combination of objective and performance tests, that yields the same
score for the same performance, no matter who is doing the scoring (Hirsch)

When in doubt, fight. And he did fight. He won fame for demanding unconditional

in the North began saying Grant s initials, U.S., stood for Unconditional Surrender.
In battle, Grant was tough and hard. He was not a retreating man. Soon Grant was

As a rule, West Point trained generals held citizen soldiers and officers in low
regard. Not Lee; he understood those whom he led, he appreciated their sacrifices
for what they believed in, and adapted his leadership to suit them. The Army of
Northern Virginia was a collection of citizen soldiers from the various Confederate
states, not a professional army of career soldiers. Southerners of the nineteenth
century, and indeed most Americans at the time, held intensely local sympathies;
loyalties to community and state were usually more important than conceptions of
American patriotism. Grant perceived one strategic imperative: A focus on the
enemy s armies through maneuver and offensive action. Lincoln agreed with
Grant in this respect, but he also operated under a second strategic imperative.
Faced with this opposition, Grant used dialogue and negotiation to get his
essential point across where his predecessors had failed. Grant did this by
employing integrative, or collaborative, bargaining, an approach that uses shared
interests and cooperation to arrive at a satisfactory outcome. Grant and Lincoln
agreed on the end result they desired, and they really did agree on the overall
approach just not on the specific question of a line of operation. Grant was able to
convince Lincoln of the soundness of his overall plan, and as a result, he got much
of it implemented. Grant was at his best as a strategic leader because he
The Greatest Accomplishments Of Thomas Jonathan
Jackson
Thomas Jonathan Jackson started from humble beginnings, and became one of the
greatest Generals in American history. The most important reasons for this were the
leadership abilities, morals, and attributes he developed throughout his life. He was
born in northwestern Virginia in 1825. His father passed away along with his older
sister to Typhoid Fever two years later. His Mother remarried but soon realized that
she was not long for this world. She sent him to live with relatives in the frontier. The
frontier taught young Jackson the importance of honor and integrity. There, a man s
word was everything. These qualities would set the foundation for the rest of his
development. Thomas never finished high school but attended... Show more content

He received citations for meritorious service and a promotion to Brevet Major. This
stemmed from his sense of duty, willingness to face danger, and by leading from
the front. In the onset of the Civil War, Jackson s sense of loyalty demanded that he
fight for his state. He took charge of rendezvous camp as a Colonel, drilling raw
recruits at Harper s Ferry. He organized the Virginia militias into disciplined units
of the First Brigade. The opening battle to the Civil War was on July 21 1861. The
battle of First Manassas, also known as the battle of Bull Run started with the
Federals beating the Confederates. Henry House Hill was the last rallying possible
rallying point. It was a dire situation for the Confederacy. Jackson had heard the
fighting from where he was in Bull Run. He took initiative and moved off at once
towards Henry Hill. Jackson emplaced his artillery on the main crest of the hill. He
then positioned his infantry on the backside of the hill. This allowed his infantry to
cover the gunners while staying out of sight. It was here that Jackson earned his
nickname of Stonewall . A fellow commander named Bee was retreating when he
noticed Jackson on the hill. He knew Jackson would hold. Then he told his troops to
rally behind the Virginians. Jackson s quick reaction and critical thinking allowed his
fellow commanders to rally their troops behind him, ultimately turning the tide of
battle. In autumn 1861, Jackson took command
How Do You Explain The Steps Involved In The Urinary
System
To explain how diabetes affects the different systems, we need to know how the act
normally. The urinary system normal function is to maintain the acid base balance,
conserve fluids, regulate the amount of salts and water in the blood and eliminate
liquid waste, known as urea. The urinary system works together with the lungs, skin
and intestines to maintain the balance of chemicals and water in the body. The
typical adult urinates approximately twenty seven to sixty eight fluid once a day of
urine. The urinary system includes 2 kidneys (the primary organs in the urinary
system), ureters, a bladder and urethra. The kidneyis where the filtration occurs, it
balances salts and waters. The kidney s is where nephrons also known as filtering

Secretion is when ions pass from the capillaries into the renal tubule, this becomes
urine. The urine passes through the ureters, and drain into the bladder. The bladder
is where urine is collected and stored until an urge to release it. When emptying the
bladder sphincter open and urine flows, which travels down the urethra that passes
outside the body. Glucose should not be filtered out of the body by the kidneys;
therefore, if glucose is found in the urine it is a symptom that the cells aren t
utilizing the glucose affectively. The high amount of glucose in the urine provide
an increase production of bacterial and fungal growth. Urinary tract infections and
yeast infections are two of the most common bacterial and fungal infections that
can be cause by type II diabetes. The increase urinary tract infections can also be
due to having a dysfunctional bladder that contract poorly. The poor contraction
allows for urine to remain in static pools for long periods of time. This provides
luxurious ponds for bacteria to grow in. Bladder problems are another problem for
diabetic. An overactive bladder is common this is caused by damaged nerves that
send signals to the bladder at the wrong time, this causes the muscles to contract

MARIE CURIE AND THE STUDY OF RADIOACTIVITY
Marie Curie was born, Maria Sklodowska on November 7, 1867. She grew up in
Warsaw, Poland. She would become famous for her research on radioactivity.
Marie Curie was the first woman to ever win a Nobel prize, and the first ever to

Polonium. Her work not only influenced the development of fundamental science, but
also began a new era in medical research and treatment.

During Marie s time, the atom was thought to be the smallest particle in existence. At
first, Marie and Pierre Curie believed that perhaps the atom was covered with cosmic
rays. Marie tested numerous elements to find if other ones than Uranium would make
the air conduct electricity better.
Pierre was so interested in Marie s work, that he joined forces with her. Her research
had revealed that two uranium ores, pitchblende and chalcolite were much more
radioactive that pure uranium. Marie concluded that the highly radioactive nature of
these ores may possibly be due to undiscovered elements.
In July of 1898, Marie and Pierre Cure discovered Polonium. They named the element
after Marie s birth country, Poland. Chemically, this new element was very similar to
bismuth, but it contained radioactivity, so it must be new. In December of 1898, the
Curie s discovered yet another element. They named this one radium, from the Latin
word for ray. The two new elements had completely different chemical properties, but
they both had very strong radioactivity.
It was not easy for Marie and Pierre to convince the science community of their new
findings. Marie succeeded in separating the radium from the barium, but it wasn t
easy. She had to treat very large amounts of pitchblende, but she had plenty of
pitchblende to use. (The Curie s

The Pros And Cons Of American Intervention In Grenada
International law generally prohibits intervention affairs of other countries, which in
this context means an act which is more than any intervention and stronger than
mediation or diplomatic proposal. Which included in the general prohibition of
interference contrary to the interests of the countries concerned and as explained by
the International Court of Justice in 1986 in the case of Nicaragua v United State of

implications of action to disrupt the country s political independence concerned.
America is one of the countries which often intervenes in the other countries, various
kinds of interventions have been done by Americans, including one of them is

This I Believe by Thomas Mardik

topics can evoke with a mere mention of them; debates which educate no one on a

defend their own view. These two hot button topics are religionand politics. Even
though the touchy nature of these topics is widely known, Thomas Mardik

Examples of this essay s lack of varied word use and complex vocabulary can be
seen throughout the entire essay, from the use of the word very three times in one

trend of unimpressive vocabulary repeating itself multiply times throughout the

religious beliefs. Thomas never comes out and says what religion he is, in his

saying he is Lutheran, Catholic, or any other branch of Christian he is able to

and essay as a whole to be more ethical appealing to a larger percentage of his
audience. Ethos is also found in lines

HIPAA Discussion Paper
The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, HIPAA was passed by
Congress in 1996 to provide the ability to transfer and continue health insurance
coverage for workers as well as their families after changing or losing their jobs. As a
result, new patients are required to fill HIPAA compliant forms while existing
patients should update their information on a regular basis. Documenting and
maintaining the HIPAA forms properly ensures that healthcare providers focus more
on other aspects of their practice. The forms restrict access to patient s information by
seeking the patient s permission to disclose such information in certain circumstances
only. The forms thus must be available in the HIPAA compliance manual. The
HIPAA forms are crucial in implementing access controls to keep track of the persons
who access the patient s information. The new patient forms include patient history

The macaque does not have a prehensile tail which allows for handling objects.
Instead they have a smaller tail referred to as a stump. Their inability to use their
tails is compensated by the fact that the macaque s fingers and thumbs share a
level of dexterity that is only rivalled by humans. This skill is developed by
mothers at a young age; appendix 2 shows an image of a young macaque making
and carrying snowballs to practice using their opposable thumbs. Hays (2009) found
that macaques can survive in climates with temperatures as low as 14oC. This is
due to the difference in the texture and thickness of their fur. They are covered in a
thick layer of soft fur onto which lies a layer of short, dense, courser hair. It is the
thick layer which provides the heat to enable the macaque survive in such subtropical
climates. The macaques live further north than any other primate excluding humans,
something which has proved a barrier to survival of numerous other species
throughout history. Hays (2009) describes how this is possible through a case seen in
northern Honshu, where macaques bath in volcanic springs where the temperature
had been previously moderated and used by humans. (Appendix 3)
Hanya (2004) describes the species as omnivores. However, similar to the climate of
their environment, their diet is also cyclical. Throughout the summer and autumn, the

The Phenomenal Opportunity For The Game Grand Theft
Auto Five
By the time my sophomore year of high school came to an end, my digital creations
reached over 30 million people. Interestingly, the marvelous opportunity to connect
with the world began with one of the most defective and frustrating laptops ever
created. But despite the poor quality of my laptop, it helped me develop a profitable
business, which has in turn promoted my personal growth, encouraged me to sieze
valuable opportunities, allowed me to develop skills that will serve me well in
college, and advanced my ability to effectively communicate.
My business ventures began early one Saturday morning, when I did not have much
to do. Instead of simply surfing the Internet, I decided to contribute to it by creating
YouTubetutorials for popular video games. At first, I did not take this short lived
hobby seriously. But this newfound pastime quickly turned into a profitable
business, featuring continual growth and resulting in a substantial income. For
instance, I recognized a trend curve in popularity for the game Grand Theft Auto
Five and decided to make videos, showing people the most effective ways to rank
up, and earn in game currency. My tutorials were a hit, so I studied the game more
and discovered a pattern in which of my videos received the most positive feedback,
allowing me to optimize my ranking on the search results and generate more revenue.
In addition to supporting my growing business, my independent work ethic translated

Particular elements would either thrive or diminish in the different climates therefore
making the modern version of the movement difficult to replicate. Accompanying
this, the sources of protein available now, would not be sufficient in terms of the
leanness of the meat available in the Stone Age. Therefore, the exact diet could either
come as no benefit or a breakthrough in subsiding or at least promoting ways to
encourage good health behaviours. The theory behind this ultimately aims at
decreasing the percentage of overweight people and other affiliated health issues.
Even after evolutionary biologists analysed the remains of the Tyrolean Iceman
(Keller et al., 2012) found in Tisenjoch Pass in the Italian part of the Г–tztal Alps ,
evidence of calcification in his major cardiovascular arteries was found. This is an
interesting development as the man was also seen to have been lactose intolerant.
This shows that the Paleo diet that he was consuming did not restrict the intake of
calcium, despite not consuming it in the way modern society does today in the
form of dairy products (Keller et al., 2012). The Paleo diet has recently come into
the media with the publication of the book The Paleo Solution by Cordain , an
affiliation to the previous released work targeted at athletes. Within this book, all of
the theories behind the paleo diet are explored. By adapting ones diet to a degree of

What are the requirement(s) found in the U.S. constitution governing the President s

According to Article II, Section 2 of the Constitution. It gives the president the power
to make treaties but two thirds of the Senators must approve. Between the United

other countries after the advice and consent of a super majority of the United States

dragon, he realizes that that dragon is powerful than him, not one foot will [he]
flee from the monster (Line 1493). Beowulf shows his bravery by removing all
available weapons and goes into battle with nothing but his bare hands. Therefore
sacrificing his life, and defending the honor of his nations. Later on, Beowulf s
battle with the dragon who is obviously much stronger than Beowulf himself, gets
Beowulf to realize that his army abandon s him and leaves him to fight this battle
on his own. Furthermore, Katniss Everdeen is quite similar to Beowulf when she
exposes her bravery. Katniss steps up for her sister when she is called for tribute
for the Hunger Games. She knows that her sister will be killed right away in the
arena. Another way Katniss portrays bravery, is by crossing the border of her district
every morning with her lover Peeta. They would cross it to go practice hunting and to
get food that they
Symbiotic Relationships In South America
Presently, 6.8 billion people exist on the Earth today. Combined, the entirety of
farmland needed for these billions of people to be fed is equivalent to the size of
South America. The population of Earth is still steadily increasing. Populations
are expected to continue rising to 9.6 billion within the year 2050. Each one of
these extra people also needing more healthy food, clean water, space, and energy
to survive. When these extra bodies arrive, in addition to crop late the size of South
America, an extra plot the size of Brazil will also be needed. This is not even
including the land that every other creature on the planet needs to survive. When this
is added to the calculation, eighty percent of dry land will need to be dedicated to...

The excess of carbon in the atmosphere is the cause of global climate change. To
reverse global warming we must balance the carbon cycle by removing carbon from
the atmosphere and returning it to the plants and to the soil (4). Though in the end,
carbon exists in everything and the carbon cycle is much more complex because it
includes every plant, animal, microbe, fallen tree, body of water, bit of soil, breath
of air, plume of smoke, combustion of fossil fuel, decaying particle, and bubble
popping to the surface of a swamp (5). Industrial farming has disrupted this cycle. If
we completely halted the burning of fossil fuels today, which we can not by any
means, climate change would still continue through modern agriculture. The key to
reversing global warming is not solely through solar panels and ethanol fuel, but in
proper symbiotic farming
Kubla Khan Essay
Kubla Khan
If a man could pass thro Paradise in a Dream, have a flower presented to him as a
pledge that his Soul had really been there, found that flower in his hand when he
awoke Aye! and what then? (CN, iii 4287)
Kubla Khan is a fascinating and exasperating poem written by Samuel Taylor
Coleridge (. Almost everyone who has read it, has been charmed by its magic. It
must surely be true that no poem of comparable length in English or any other
language has been the subject of so much critical commentary. Its fifty four lines
have spawned thousands of pages of discussion and analysis. Kubla Khan is the sole
or a major subject in five book length studies; close to 150 articles and book chapters

Christabel , an unfinished gothic ballad, evokes a sinister atmosphere, hinting at evil
and the grotesque. In his poems Coleridge s detailed perception of nature links scene
and mood, and leads to a contemplation of moral and universal concerns. In his theory
of poetry Coleridge stressed the aesthetic quality as the primary consideration. The
metrical theory on which Christabel is constructed helped to break the fetters of 18th
century correctness and monotony and soon found disciples, among others Walter
Scott and Lord Byron.
Opium and the Dream of Kubla Khan
Coleridge s use of opium has long been a topic of fascination, and the grouping of
Coleridge, opium and Kubla Khan formed an inevitable triad long before Elisabeth
Schneider combined them in the title of her book. It is tempting on a subject of such
intrinsic interest to say more than is necessary for the purpose in hand.
Since the medicinal use of opium was so common and wide spread, it is not
surprising to learn that its use involved neither legal penalties nor public stigma. All
of the Romantic poets (except Wordsworth) are known to have used it, as did many
other prominent contemporaries. Supplies were readily available: in 1830, for
instance, Britain imported 22,000 pounds of raw opium. Many Englishmen, like the
eminently respectable poet parson George Crabbe, who took opium in regular but
moderate quantity for nearly forty years, were addicts in ignorance, and led stable and
Disparity Between Passion of the Christ and the Bible Essay
The Passion of the Christ by Mel Gibson, recounts the last twelve hours of the life of
Jesus of Nazareth, portraying his arrest, trial, crucifixion and death. One of the most
anticipated and popular religious movies in modern society, it therefore becomes
susceptible to criticism. Although the film is based upon the stories within the four
gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, there are many exaggerations and non
biblical elements present in the movie. This is not unexpected, since it is a movie, but
the vivid detail of the brutality in the movie as well as the Anti Semitic theme are the
most publicly criticized themes and concepts present in the movie. The Passion
emphasizes the brutality Jesusendured to give himself for his... Show more content on

In the scenes of the movie, he is preaching his peace and ideas of independence, but
the high priests and the Jewish people do not show him any mercy or respect. Even
at the voice of the governor Pontius Pilate, who several times mentions that he doesn
t find any guilt or reason to persecute Jesus, the people still wish for his crucifixion.
The movie did not really make sense of the motivation of the Jewish high priests or
the Jewish people, and it was not explained in the gospels either. However, in Mark
15; 10 11, it suggests that Pontius Pilate realized that it was out of jealousy that the
chief priests had handed Jesus over. The chief priests, however, had incited the
crowd to demand that he should release Barabbas for them instead . Therefore,
according to the Bible, the chief priests were envious of Jesus, and that is why
they condemned him to be crucified. It was an act of panic more than anything
else. The people, fearing to be considered outcasts, therefore agreed with whatever
the high priests would say. This still does not explain why the Jewish people were
so quick to have their savior and messiah killed. The movie suggests that they all felt
passionately about this themselves, because all the people in the scenes are
adamantly screaming for his death, but the gospels do not explain it. The appearance
of Satan within several important scenes of the movie is also something that is not
found within the Bible. Satan appears

Neighbourhood Essay

  • 1. Neighbourhood Essay Crafting an essay on the topic of "Neighbourhood" presents both challenges and opportunities for expression. On one hand, the familiarity of the subject might seem reassuring, as it is something we encounter in our daily lives. However, this proximity can also make it challenging to approach the topic with the necessary depth and originality. Capturing the essence of a neighborhood involves more than just describing its physical attributes. It requires a nuanced exploration of the community's social dynamics, cultural diversity, and the unique stories that unfold within its boundaries. This complexity demands a careful balance between personal reflection and broader societal context. Furthermore, the challenge lies in avoiding clichГ©s and stereotypes that often accompany discussions about neighborhoods. The danger is in succumbing to a superficial portrayal, overlooking the intricacies that make each neighborhood distinct. Striking the right tone and finding a fresh perspective can be an arduous task. Additionally, the essay must navigate the delicate balance between celebrating the positive aspects of a neighborhood and acknowledging its challenges. Addressing issues like gentrification, social inequality, or community tensions requires a thoughtful and sensitive approach. The process of writing such an essay involves thorough research to provide a comprehensive understanding of the neighborhood, coupled with the creativity to weave a compelling narrative. It demands not only writing skills but also an ability to observe, analyze, and interpret the subtle nuances that shape the community. In conclusion, while writing an essay on the topic of "Neighbourhood" may seem straightforward at first glance, delving into the intricacies and presenting a nuanced perspective can be a formidable task. It demands a careful blend of personal experience, research, and creativity to bring forth a narrative that goes beyond the surface. It's an endeavor that requires time, effort, and a genuine passion for exploring the tapestry of human interactions within a community. If tackling such writing challenges seems overwhelming, it's worth noting that assistance is available. • 2. Cover Songs Comparison In the music industry, it is not uncommon for original songs to be rerecorded and altered by other artists resulting in what is known as a cover song. One example of this situations occurrence can be seen in Vance Joy s indie folk pop song, Riptide , that was famously covered by pop and country crossover artist, Taylor Swift. Overall, there are many factors that go into the relationship between an original and cover song and the artists of each song. Such as both artist s connection to the song and the relationship between the artists themselves. There are also differences between the original and cover songs themselves including song structure, instrumentation, vocals, lyrics, and lyrical meaning. Vance Joy and Taylor Swift met for the first time backstage in New York at the Late Night Show with David Letterman (Whitney). By the time for their first meeting, Swift had already covered Joy s hit single, Riptide , on a British radio station and announced her invitation for Joy to join her as the opening act on her international 1989 tour (Adams). Though Joy is an indie folk pop singer and Swift a country, pop singer, the two managed to join their audiences together and create continued mass popularity for Riptide as well as promote listeners of both genres to hear the two perform at the 1989 tour. As Joy was used to performing in smaller venues, the packed auditoriums that Swift s tour filled were a new experience for him and encouraged him to step outside his
  • 3. Problem Statement In An Investigation The meaning of problem statement in an investigation varies according to different sources. Bryman (2007) states that a problem statement is a clear statement about the topic of interest, a condition that can be improved, an obstacle to be removed, or a problematic theoretical question that is present in scholarly literature. It may also be present in existing fields that has a need for more comprehensive understanding and research. A problem statement does not state the method of doing something, offer generalised proposition, or provide a value question. It serves several purposes, the first is introducing the reader to the importance of the topic being researched on. Secondly, it ensures that the topic is placed into a particular or narrowed context that defines the parameters of the research topic. Thirdly, it serves to provide a framework for the researcher to report the result and shows the probable requirements needed to conduct the study and provide explanation on how the findings... The Benefits Of College After College After graduating, college is one of the biggest decisions in a person s life, and debt is just an extra item that comes along with it. 66% of students from state funded colleges leave school with debt, and 75% of students at private colleges leave with debt. Those percentages are extremely high, and I do not want to have too much debt when I leave school. One great way to help pay debts is to take a break year and work full time, for working for a year in between highschool and collegeis great for students. Working full time before colleges gives students the chance to make money, and it provides more financial stability throughout college. Working full time also allows students to learn many skills, and provides good experience in the workplace. Relationships can also be earned by working before college, and relationships with different companies through internships and working for them help obtaining a job after school. Entering school right after graduating can be effective, but working is far more beneficial for students. College debt is a massive problem with many students, but working full time for a year can help eliminate the debts. After highschool graduation, many students are going straight into college, and they do not have any funds to support them. These students need money for simple things such as food, but they did not work, and for that reason they cannot afford even the simplest of things. Throughout college, money is one of the most important things a

First, I would like to start by communicating how items and their context were displayed. For majority of the exhibits, artifact and animals were arranged in natural behavioral was, meaning that animals and items were shown as if they were engaging in natural physical manner. Richard Adam s Watership Down follows these two rabbits Hazel and Fiver as they gather a following and make their way across the farmland to safety. The band of misfits looks to Hazel for guidance, and he leads them to their haven: a warren atop the hills where the rabbits are safe and sound. However, the need to keep the warren going pushes the rabbits to continue exploring and find does in other warrens. While looking, they meet the Efrafa warren. This warren is lead by General Woundwort, and immediately the two parties are at odds with one another. The most noticeable difference is between the leaders of the two warrens: Hazel and General Woundwort. Both Hazel and General Woundwort are cunning; however, the leaders use their wits in different ways. Hazel uses his wit for the betterment of his people, while General Woundwort uses his to control and oppress his people. Some leaders are born into their position, others rise to the occasion, and a small few seize the position themselves the latter of the three describe both Hazel and General Woundwort. Their motivation is what separates them. Hazel takes charge of his warren to protect them, while General Woundwort climbs up the ladder of power using any means available. In the beginning, Hazel s warren did not have a leader. It was merely a band of misfit rabbits trying to leave their warren. Hazel proves himself a leader when the Owsla, or rabbitpolice, come to arrest the rabbits that try to leave. After a fight breaks out, Hazel steps forward to protect his brothers, Go, said Hazel, firmly and quietly, Or we ll kill you (21). Hazel believes that if there is no way to get his people out safely, then they will have to go out fighting. The instinct to protect and fight for his people is how Hazel becomes the leader of his warren. His brave actions make him becomes the Chief Rabbit of his warren. Hazel did not seek leadership, he simply led. In contrast to this natural leadership, General Woundwort is more power hungry and ruthless. He is the tyrant of his warren Efrafa. • 10. Academic Writing Styles Academic writing Proper academic writing should demonstrate the students understanding of the subject at hand. (Elton, 2010) adds that because academic writing may defer from discipline to discipline, instructors in schools have a duty to express their expectations of students writing while students on the other hand should act on it. Academic writing is logical The student s work needs to have a introduction, the body and the conclusion. The introduction gives a background to the topic and one could include interesting facts and quotations. It is important to outline the main ideas that are in the body. The student then discusses the main points in the body. This is done in paragraphs which should be well structured to give a coherent argument. The conclusion is the final paragraph and must briefly summarise every idea discussed in the body. Other s works Academic writing builds on what others have done on the same subject. A student therefore needs to base his work on his own ideas as well as what others have done and thought about, however, students should take care not to get lost in another scholar s voice but should instead incorporate the information so as to maintain the novelty of his argument. (Hampton, 2014) states that another scholar s work should be fully acknowledged by accurate citation. Academic writing is objective Academic writing is objective (A. Labelling Theories Contribution to the Sociological Understanding of Crime and Deviance Becker is the main sociologist studying labelling theory on deviance, he argues that social groups create deviance by making the rules whose infraction constitutes deviance. Meaning acts only become deviant when observers perceive it and define it as deviant. An example of this would be the act of nudity, it is accepted in the bedroom between husband and wife or on a nudist camp, but when a stranger was to enter the bedroom, or someone was to streak across a sporting event, others would usually see this as deviant, and this deviancy would become a label on the individual. Several factors affect what the... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Which in turn could turn into a self fulfilling prophecy because of being identified with the label and it becomes controlling. Once these steps have occurred, what Becker describes as the deviant career is completed when the individual joins an organised deviant group and thus accepting their identity of being deviant. However, this is not by any means inevitable and some of those who started out as convicts or drug addicts can become straight and get jobs or quit their habits. When Becker identified that he took a sequential approach he means how he explains deviance and at any stage in the sequence of his explanation it is possible that the deviant will re enter conventional society. Lemmert also uses the interactionist perspective in his view of labelling, outlining primary and secondary deviance, primary being the act before it is publicly labelled and secondary being the response of the individual or deviant to the reactions of others in society. But he sees the agents of social control to blame for deviance rather than the traditional views of the blame lying with the deviant individual or group. This labelling theory has contributed two concepts to help understand the relationship between media and crime: В· Deviancy amplification, Lesley Wilkins points out that a response to deviant acts by media and the police can actually

Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... But this is not to say that they exist as things other than whatever it is that physically constitutes that person s thoughts, so perhaps we can grant Anselm s argument soundness so far. Anselm now notices that there is a contradiction between his definition of God, and the assumption that God does not exist. If his definition of God demands absolute, unlimited greatness, then a God who does not exist in realty could be said to be inferior to a God that does indeed exist in reality. In our imagining of a God that exists both in our understanding and in reality, we are imagining a being of which its greatness supersedes our first conception of a non existing God. Thus, according to Anselm s argument, our previous assumption that God does not exist in reality must in fact be false. Therefore Anselm concludes that God must exist in reality, because if this was not the case, we would be imagining a being greater than the greatest possible being we could imagine a contradiction no less. So where do the weaknesses in the Ontological argument lie? The first main objection I will raise is what most Philosophers refer to as the perfect island objection , a version first formally proposed by the 11th century French monk, Gaunilo, in which he named the Lost Island refutation. This objection attempts to use the same form as Anselm s reductio argument, only with the aim of proving the existence of a perfect island, rather than

Grant perceived one strategic imperative: A focus on the enemy s armies through maneuver and offensive action. Lincoln agreed with Grant in this respect, but he also operated under a second strategic imperative. Faced with this opposition, Grant used dialogue and negotiation to get his essential point across where his predecessors had failed. Grant did this by employing integrative, or collaborative, bargaining, an approach that uses shared interests and cooperation to arrive at a satisfactory outcome. Grant and Lincoln agreed on the end result they desired, and they really did agree on the overall approach just not on the specific question of a line of operation. The increase urinary tract infections can also be due to having a dysfunctional bladder that contract poorly. The poor contraction allows for urine to remain in static pools for long periods of time. This provides luxurious ponds for bacteria to grow in. Bladder problems are another problem for diabetic. An overactive bladder is common this is caused by damaged nerves that send signals to the bladder at the wrong time, this causes the muscles to contract without

Her research had revealed that two uranium ores, pitchblende and chalcolite were much more radioactive that pure uranium. Marie concluded that the highly radioactive nature of these ores may possibly be due to undiscovered elements. In July of 1898, Marie and Pierre Cure discovered Polonium. They named the element after Marie s birth country, Poland. Chemically, this new element was very similar to bismuth, but it contained radioactivity, so it must be new. In December of 1898, the Curie s discovered yet another element. They named this one radium, from the Latin word for ray. The two new elements had completely different chemical properties, but they both had very strong radioactivity. It was not easy for Marie and Pierre to convince the science community of their new findings. Marie succeeded in separating the radium from the barium, but it wasn t easy. She had to treat very large amounts of pitchblende, but she had plenty of pitchblende to use. (The Curie s

The movie did not really make sense of the motivation of the Jewish high priests or the Jewish people, and it was not explained in the gospels either. However, in Mark 15; 10 11, it suggests that Pontius Pilate realized that it was out of jealousy that the chief priests had handed Jesus over. The chief priests, however, had incited the crowd to demand that he should release Barabbas for them instead . Therefore, according to the Bible, the chief priests were envious of Jesus, and that is why they condemned him to be crucified. It was an act of panic more than anything else. The people, fearing to be considered outcasts, therefore agreed with whatever the high priests would say. This still does not explain why the Jewish people were so quick to have their savior and messiah killed. The movie suggests that they all felt passionately about this themselves, because all the people in the scenes are adamantly screaming for his death, but the gospels do not explain it.
