is, The process through which people create and manage their relationships, exercising mutual
responsibility in creating meaning. (Pg. 5) To be an effective communicator, it is vital that the
person possesses and practices effective interpersonal/communicational skills. Over this semester,
important interpersonal skills have been developed through a series of six workshops and
assessed in two pieces of assessment. First position, second position and third position skills were
performed. This reflective essay provides a critical analysis of my interpersonal skills
developmental process of the three skills listed above; including my strengths, weakness and

When in the receiving position of a conversation, the main aim is to retrieve information from the
sender in an understandable and cohesive way; which ultimately creates a meaningful connection

assumption that in a war between two or more states, those who were legitimately entitled to take
up arms were the armed forces of those states. Thus armed forces was not a term which required

Introduction In the two presented books, the main theme outlined in both texts is the theme of
relationship between the child and parent. Chinua Achebe in his book, Marriage is a Private Affair
developed this theme in the marriage perception outlining the conflict which occurred between a

The films I have chosen to compare are `The War of the Worlds which are both in different era`s.
The original movie was created in 1953 and the latest version of the movie was created in 2005.
One of the first things I noticed was that in the older version of War of the Worlds, the mise en

Kids thrive off interaction with each other and playing . They need this interaction to grow socially,
physically, and mentally. When there playgrounds get torn down, mistreated, and rundown it
presents problems for these kids lives. The problem I am focusing on is the 9th Street Childrens
Park. The problem with it is that it s getting worn down and becoming a small hazard.
This problem has been becoming worse and worse over the past decade. Concerns have grown
with it as well. Parents are concerned about their children s safety, and I would have to both agree
and disagree. The main problem with the park is the main structure. The wood is untreated and the
bolts are well past starting to rust. Rust can turn metal sharp and increase the risk of injury and
could cause a serious emergency. The park is over 20 years old and in my lifetime I don t know of

idea. Repealing VCE exams would be a radical change for any high school. Acknowledgement from
your teacher that you already know the material instead of proving that you know how to take a test.
High school students face a stressful and strenuous time and are challenged by the vigorous
preparation for VCE exams. The do or die VCE exams students face is a crisis time for them,
instead of thinking about their graduation. Expecting students to take these exams is unfair due to
its numerous reasons of unfairness and should not take place. The Victorian school board should
repeal these exams.
Students do not learn in the same way, they are individuals. Thankfully for society, students bring to
schools all kinds of intellect. Some students excel academically, others are artistic talents and others

different solutions: water, lemon, and baking soda. They all have different pH levels and affect the
