The Ottawa tribe and culture of the tribe is eminently fascinating and beautiful. The Ottawa tribe
has a great deal of history behind it. The name Ottawa is originally spelled Odawa in their native
language. The language that they speak is mostly English, but their native language is Ojibwa,
which is related to Anishinaabelanguage. The tribe s original homeland, according to bigorrin.org, is
mostly in southern Ontario in Canada, which is where the name of Ottawaor Odawa came from, and
Michigan. There are multiple Ottawa tribes, but there is one here in Manistee, Michigan, they are
the Little River Band of Ottawa Indians. There is a legion amount of people that are in the Little
River Band that are exceedingly close to me. The Little River Band is full and rich in culture. The
Little River Band of Ottawa Indians, a Michigan tribe that has survived to the present day despite
the expansionist and assimilationist policies that nearly robbed it of its identity in the late

Surgical outcomes after tibial plateau fracture treatment are strongly associated with functional
alignment, knee range of motion and stability (1, 2). The goals of tibial plateau treatment includes
restore anatomic articular stepping, sagittal alignment, coronal alignment and condylar width.

A helical CT scanner(...) was used. This scanning procedure was performed to acquire CT slices
of thickness 0.5 mm with resolution of 512 x512 pixels. The raw data was exported to medical
modelling software (...). The images were constructed to 3D bone models of the knee, including the

Laboratory Of Neural Systems, Decision Science, Learning...
Laboratory of Neural Systems, Decision Science, Learning and Memory (NSDSLM), also known as
the Mizumori lab, seeks to understand the plasticity mechanisms within neural systems that
underlie normal and pathological mnemonic functions. The principal investigator of this lab, and
my primary research mentor is Dr. Sheri Mizumori. Upon joining the Mizumori lab, I have been
shadowing Dr. Phillip Baker on his postdoctoral researchproject. He introduced me to laboratory
research study and facilitated in the progressive improvement of my comprehension in basic
neuroscienceresearch.
The initial study that I began working on with Dr. Baker was about lateral habenula s (LHb)
involvement in behavior switching when presented with a cue. The LHb is a structure identified
for its role in signaling negative outcomes or cues (Bomberg Martin et al, 2011; Proulex et al,
2014). It projects to dopaminergic, serotoninergic, and norepinephrine systems that are
acknowledged to be important when switches in behavior are required (Robbins and Arnsten,
2009; Lecourtier and Kelly, 2007). My responsibilities in this study mainly included handling and
training rats, recording of rat behaviors through a series of sensors and robotic doors around the T
maze controlled by z basic, and evaluating data from training and testing rats in a tonal task. I also

There are many ways that the idea of the traditional family has changed over the past several
centuries. For instance prior to the 19th century family was often considered anyone who lived
within a household whether related by blood or not. This included employees and extended family.
Per Coontz (2010) The biological family was less sacrosanct, and less sentimentalized, than it
would become in the nineteenth century. (p. 35) In society at the time it was socially

Upper House Case Study
It is very evident that Queensland does not have to reinstate an upper house to be an effect
government. This is due to that the original upper house was unable to do its job effectively of
reviewing and negotiating laws and bills. Especially amending money bills that the lower house
passed, due to that its members came from elitist group of wealth and education (Queensland
Parliament, 2010). This elitist upper house resulted in a lacked of diversity, therefore laws that
where made for working class Queenslanders, were rarely passed. Another large benefit of not
having an upper house is that the lower house can debate and process new bills effectively, due to
not having an upper house which can delay bills by up to 6 months. This cuts out the process of
being of going through another house, therefore responding to society as quickly as it changes
(Inside Story, 205). Also the reintroduction of the upper house would also be a costly burden on
society, with the government having to potentially cut representatives in the lower house to
compensate for the new senators (Inside Story, 2015). This cut to the lower house means that there
would be less representatives and more people they are having to represent, therefore missing out
