My Dream House Descriptive Essay
Crafting an essay on the subject of "My Dream House Descriptive Essay" poses a unique
challenge as it requires a delicate balance between imagination and detail. At first glance, the
task might seem straightforward – one can simply envision an ideal dwelling and describe its
features. However, the difficulty lies in translating these mental images into words that
effectively convey the essence of the dream house.
Attempting to articulate the intricacies of personal preferences, architectural details, and the
emotional connections one might have with their dream home demands a high level of
descriptive prowess. The challenge lies not only in painting a vivid picture but also in evoking a
sensory and emotional response from the reader. Striking the right balance between elaborate
descriptions and maintaining the coherence of the essay can be a formidable task.
Moreover, the task involves tapping into the realm of creativity to ensure that the essay doesn't
become a mere list of features but instead becomes a narrative that captivates and resonates with
the audience. It requires a writer to explore the depths of their imagination, conjuring up a space
that is not only aesthetically pleasing but also reflective of their values, aspirations, and desires.
Furthermore, the challenge is compounded by the need for precision in language. The choice of
words must be meticulous to accurately convey the unique aspects of the dream house.
Struggling to find the right words or phrases may hinder the flow of the essay, making it
challenging to maintain the reader's interest.
In conclusion, crafting a descriptive essay on the topic of "My Dream House" is a task that
demands a fusion of creativity, attention to detail, and linguistic precision. It requires the writer
to navigate the delicate balance between imagination and expression, ensuring that the final

Pros And Cons Of Nuclear Power Plants
I think that we should not build the nuclear power plant in East Pennsboro
township because it is a bad idea and could wipe out their entire town. Few reason
are power plants are big targets for terrorism, also a lot of money goes into making
this plant and next thing you know it could have a meltdown or produce deadly
waste. Another reason is the waste won t go away for 200 500 thousand years,
which could affect our water sources and pollute our waters. Also there are high
risks and unknown risks of what could happen to the power plant. So I think that we
shouldn t have a nuclear powerplant. These power plants are big targets for
terrorism because of a few reasons. One if terrorists decide that they want to wipe
out a town they put a bomb on the power plant and that will cause a big explosion.
Also they could cause leaks in the plant and that cause nuclear waste to leak out into
anytown or waters and harm or... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
One high risk that we know of is radiation. Radiation can cause skin problems,
fatigue, long term side effects, head and neck problems, chest problem, and more.
There are some effects of the power plants people don t even know about that could
happen. All it takes for any damage to be done is one person to slack of or one
person not do something correctly and the whole city or town can be destroyed.
So there is another reason why I think we should not build a power plant. Nuclear
accidents are another big reason why we should not have a power plant. Randomly
out of the ordinary a nuclear accident may happen and it will end up harming
people and making them move out of town. Therefore the town s population will
decrease and less people will live there and the point for the nuclear power plant is
gone. Also it could end up killing all of east pennsboro and possibly even more.
So I think we shouldn t build the power

Entrepreneurship. Merriam Webster s dictionary defines it as one who organizes,

other than John D. Rockefeller. Born on July 8th, 1839 as the second child to
William Avery and Eliza Davison Rockefeller. His father, was known as a con
artist, often claiming he could cure cancer while charging twenty five dollars for a
treatment. His mother was a religious women and often taught John to give and

years old. He had saved fifty dollars from working for his neighbors and mother,
when his mother urged John to loan a farmer his fifty dollars. John agreed to loan

Consequences In Literature
Decisions and Consequences of Actions in Literature
Making a decision is like standing at a crossroads and trying to decide which
direction to go; one road might lead you towards a dark forest, the other towards a
colorful city. Either way, the decision you make will be the one you live with the
consequences of. Similar to this, several characters in the novels The Scarlet Letter
and The Other Wes Moore have to live with the burden of their consequences for
indefinitely. The theme that every decision taken leads one down an irreversible path
highlights the usage of imagery and stream of consciousness in the author s writing.
The theme that every decision made leads one down an irreversible path can be seen
several times in the novel The Other Wes Moore. Wes, when caught attempting to
escape military school, is brought back and allowed a brief phone call with his
mother. He uses this chance to plead to his mother to let him return home, to which
Mary replies, too many people [had] sacrificed in order for [him] to be there
(Moore 95). This quote references the theme by indicating that all decisions have
unchangeable consequences. By Mary s order, Wes stays in military school, which
ultimately turns him around as a person completely. Mary s strong decision causes
Wes to become a better person. Later on in the book, the theme is once again
illustrated when Wes is caught tagging. After Wes and Shea are put into the back of
a police cruiser, Wes has a large revelation about life

Cloning is the New Black
Cloning could potentially allow advances in science that will benefit society as a
whole. Cloning of both humans and animals can help advancements in curing a
variety of diseases. Those who oppose this proposition believe it is morally and
ethically wrong. Proponents for cloning animals know that it can allow for a healthier
lifestyle and help maximize production numbers, while opponents think that the
technologies will be abused. Cloning has caused a number of arguments. Individuals
are arguing what is morally acceptable, the roles animals should play, and how the
government should decide on the issue. Because of these disagreements, cloning has

After much debate, they had agreed that research and applying these methods will
show promise and benefits to better human health while mindful to the ethical
concerns and maintaining defense for human rights (United Nations). Cloning shows
a promising future in the medical field. Scientists have faith that stem cells show
reassuring sources for advance remedies. With recent advances in research,
scientists can possibly create cures for several diseases and create stand in tissues
developed from a subject s body cells (Follow up). Stem cells are known for their
wide variety of uses. Because of this characteristic, scientists can do almost anything
with them making them beneficial to medical research. Eventually, scientists hope to
manipulate cells into a wide variety of organs and tissues to help treat people with an
assortment of illnesses. Once researchers can understand what causes these diseases,
they will eventually be able to prevent them with genetic engineering. Recently,
Israeli scientists announced that they have managed to grow embryonic cells to
create specific organ cells like those from the heart and pancreas (Hope). President
Obama reinforces the idea that these tiny cells may have the potential to help us
understand, and possibly cure, some of our most devastating diseases (Follow up).
Although many might believe humans should go by the principle that only the strong

can reduce their application operation costs by moving to cloud computing. As the
data and information stored is small and also most of the hardware or applications
are leased or bought from outside it is expensive. If it moved to cloud computing it
can save lot of money and reduce operations on the organizations.

Franz Haydn Essay
Franz Joseph Haydn
Joseph Haydn is regarded as one of the greatest composers of the classical period.
He is often called the father of both the symphony and the string quartet, and he
founded what is known as the Viennese classical school, which consisted of himself,
his friend, Wolfgang Mozart, and his pupil, Ludwig van Beethoven. During his
lifetime, he produced a mind boggling amount of music. He lived from the end of the
baroque period to the beginning of the romantic period, and presided over the
transition between them.
Franz Joseph Haydn was born in Rohrau, Austria, on April 1, 1732, to Mathias and
Anna Maria Koller Haydn. Joseph Haydn s parents had twelve children, but, sadly,
six of them died during infancy. His surviving ... Show more content on

He retreated into his music, while she found consolation by spending a great deal of
time in church.
In 1761, Count Morzin was forced to disband his orchestra due to financial problems.
It wasn t long, however, before Haydn was offered another job, this time in
Eisenstadt, Austria, as assistant Kapellmeister for Prince Paul Anton Esterhazy, who
was greatly impressed by the music that Haydn performed while he was with the
Morzin orchestra.
Paul Anton died in 1762 and was succeeded by his brother Nicholas, who was also a
music lover and played the baryton (a brass wind instrument). Thus, Haydn
composed more than a hundred trios for baryton, viola, and bass during the next
thirteen years. Haydn also composed several short operas and a full length opera,
named Acide.
Upon the death of Gregor Werner in 1766, Joseph Haydn was promoted to
Kapellmeister (musical director). Prior to his death, Werner earned slightly over half
of the wage paid to his highly talented, younger assistant. The orchestra was
expanded, and Haydn composed four to five symphonies a year. He also continued to
compose operas.
In 1768, Haydn and the Esterhazy orchestra moved to Eszterhaza, a beautiful new
palace built by Prince Nicholas. During this time, Haydn did not maintain his usual
volume of symphony production, as he composed less than ten between 1766 and
1770. However, Haydn experienced a renewed interest in writing string quartets. He
composed three
The World s Largest Religion
Introduction
Christianity is the world s largest religion in number of adherents, accounting to more
than 2.1 billion (around 31.4% as of 2015) and geographical spread in almost every
country in the world, there is at least one Christian community (Green ,2015).
The former religion of the Romans was polytheism based and could not give comfort
to the destitute. The many Gods and Goddesses did not lend themselves to the idea of
equality and salvation. Christianity proclaimed the equality of all people. People
were considered equal in Christianity and the Christian God was the unquestioned
authority. This God did not share a pantheon with others, he was the one and only.
The new religion rejected the existing social system of slavery, and thus gave rise
to hope of liberation from oppression of the most desperate people. The religion
called for the reconstruction of the world. It gave hope to slaves, hope for freedom
to common people through a simple and accessible way through the adoption of the
doctrine of Christ (Adair, 2008, pp.18 19).
Initially, Christianity spread among the Jews of Palestine and the Mediterranean
diaspora of the Jews. But starting from the first decades, especially through the work
of the Apostle Paul, it has acquired a large number of followers among other nations
(Adair, 2008, p.19).

According to the doctrine of Christianity, God is an original entity and a predecessor

What Is Affordable and What Isn t?
The healthcare industry in America has definitely changed over the last few
decades. Our federal government has tried to mold and shape our country into a
place where healthcare can be affordable for all families, not just the wealthy and
those below the poverty line. The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act was
created to bring about changes and healthcare reform for especially your average
American middle class family. The Obama Administration worked very diligently to
ensure some type of change was made in present day America that would last and
finally be the reform that ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
These are some of the immediate changes that have been made.
Immediate Changes Without a doubt, for the past few years the healthcare
industry has been asking for healthcare reform. In 2010, two new healthcare laws
were enacted, The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (Public Law No. 111
148), hereafter referred to as the Affordable Care Act) and the Health Care and
Education Reconciliation Act (Public Law No. 111 152). These acts cover a
number of issues and represent significant changes in America s healthcare industry.
(Elsevier, 2016) President Obama and his administration made it their business that
as soon as he got elected, he would make sure that America had some type of
healthcare reform. Changes needed to be made and kept. There were several laws
put in place, but with these two specific laws put in place had made an immediate
effect on our country and the previous healthcare laws that were set in stone were no
more. For example, one of the first immediate changes to go into effect is that the
insurance companies couldn t deny coverage to children with pre existing illnesses.
This was a big one because there are so many children out there with all types of
ailments. You have children with cancer, diabetes, asthma you name it. Furthermore,
with the ObamaCare in place it puts more security on having healthcare for your
children. Speaking of which, in addition to the first immediate law, the second is that
The Practice Of Polygamy In America
Could you imagine living in a world where it is acceptable for a man to marry
more than one woman and be open about it? Not many can and that is why the
practice of polygamy such is seen as taboo. The families usually live very private
lives and they do not interact with a lot of the rest of America due to anti bigamy
society we live in. Polygamyis the practice of being married to more than one person
at the same time (Webster 2015). This is not to be confused with an open relationship
or an open marriage. This topic has been viewed and deemed as controversial for
many years. As a practice that was not accepted in the public eye, it recently has
gained more attention with mainstream media and culture. With shows on television
such as Sister... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Most would equate their struggle and first for equality to gay marriage. This is
mostly due to so much acceptance of those individuals that do not fit the mold of
the typical monogamous man and women marriage. We are far from a city that is
accepting of this union or are we? Recently families who practice polygamy have
been in the public increasingly. Modern day television series such as the Sister
Wives follows a family in a polygamous union who documents their day to day life
and the struggle that we mentioned in the previous paragraph. This family lives
their life in peace which reverts back to my stance on the issue in which the laws
that currently exist around polygamy unions are good as they are. Reporter Amy

operations and schedules the sheltered people. What they discovered was these

Linguistic Relativity Essay
Introduction:
Linguistic relativity is the notion that language can affect our thought processes,
and is often referred to as the Sapir Whorf hypothesis , after the two linguists who
brought the idea into the spotlight. Whorf writes how Language is not merely a
reproducing instrument for voicing ideas but rather is itself the shaper of ideas, the
program and guide for the individual s mental activity (1956:212), and I will
explain how it is able to do so. In this essay I will argue that certain ways of mental
categorization, spatial cognition and reality interpretation, based on the
characteristics of our specific variety of language, influence our perception of the
world. I will discuss how languages divide up nature differently, and... Show more

Dirven and Verspoor note how the English differentiation is entirely forced on these
children by the contrast between the English prepositions in and on (1998:140),
whereas in Korean, Kkita (glossable loosely as fit ...) is indifferent to whether the
Figure goes into, onto, over, or together with the Ground, as long as it leads to a tight
fit (Choi and Bowerman 1991:90).
The fact that the tested children grouped the actions in accordance with the
grammatical structure of their respective language is evidence for linguistic relativity,
as both groups of children construe(d) the relations between objects in the world on
the basis of their language specific categories, and not on the basis of some universal,
conceptual categories (Dirven and Verspoor 1998:140 141). This suggests that the
children from the two linguistic communities will partly see the world in a different
way, being inclined to categorise the things they see in contrasting fashions.
Certain features are deemed important enough to warrant a category, and different
languages prioritise different qualities. What this means is that when we say
something belongs to a certain set, e.g. that putting toys into a container falls into an
in group, we are focussing on some, but neglecting other details of the situation, such
as the tightness of the fit. The framework of our language

Prader Willi Syndrome, named after the doctors who described it in 1956, is a rare
genetic mutation involving missing genes on chromosome 15. The syndrome has
two distinct stages and affects the growth and development in patients diagnosed
with the disorder. The most major symptom of this disorder is the irregular appetite
causing severe weight gain. Prader Willi syndrome is the most common genetic
cause of life threatening childhood obesity and affects a patient for their entire life
span. The syndrome occurs in all races and equally between both males and females
however it is not inherited in 99% of cases.

The second recognised stage of Prader Willi Syndrome commonly begins at age
two however it can occur later, sometimes as late as eight years of age. In this stage
a patient s obsession with food will begin to develop. Patients suffering from
Prader Willi Syndrome can not control their food intake and are likely to over eat.
Those with this syndrome are also likely to have a slow metabolism which in 95%
of cases can lead to obesity. Cognitive and developmental challenges are also a
symptom of Prader Willi Syndrome. Many of those diagnosed with the disorder suffer
from learning disabilities regardless of their IQ, which usually ranges from low
normal to moderate intellectual disability. Short stature, usually due to growth
hormone deficiency and small hands and feet are also symptoms of Prader Willi
Syndrome. Other possible symptoms of this genetic disorder include scoliosis,
excessive sleepiness, obsessive compulsive behaviours (skin picking in particular),
eye sight difficulties (short sighted etc.), speech defects, delayed puberty and a
difficulty in controlling emotions which often leads to temper tantrums. Prader Willi
Syndrome is usually detected at birth or in early childhood and is diagnosed by
physical examinations and blood tests to check for inactivity regarding chromosome

There is currently no cure for Prader Willi Syndrome however there are treatments
and therapies to ease and stabilise associated symptoms of the disorder which majorly
Summary Of The Second Coming
William Butler Yeats The Second Coming Journal Observation In his blank verse
poem The Second Coming, Irish poet William Butler Yeats describes the turmoil
and darkness surrounding the lives of people on earth before the second coming
of Christ. One way that Yeats communicates the spiritual darkness in the last
generation is by using a metaphor. Yeats writes darkness drops again...twenty
centuries of stony sleep (Yeats 1028). By describing the last generation before the
coming of Christ as in a stony sleep, Yeats communicates the idea that the people
lack awareness to the reality of the soon coming of Christ and remain indifferent to
Him. Also, Yeats uses the lion to allude to the Bible s description of God as the
Lion of Judah. Thus, the Lion in the poem represents God returning as a righteous
judge at the second coming to take His people with Him and judge the
unrepentant. Interpretation In his poem The Second Coming, Yeats words serve
to warn people of the dangers of falling spiritually asleep. As the violence causes
things [to] fall apart all around them, people continue following their own evil
paths with passionate intensity (Yeats 1028). However, they suddenly realize that
they lack all conviction by failing to accept God s salvation through the message
displayed in Bethlehem (Yeats 1028). Since the people remained spiritually asleep,
they become suddenly awakened and vexed to [a] nightmare by a rocking cradle
(Yeats 1028), when Christ returns and they are found unprepared. Because they
failed to accept Christ when they still had time, the second coming appears
suddenly upon them and their hopes for salvation are lost as the lion comes to
judge the world. By sharing the terrifying reality of the generation in stony sleep
before God s second coming, Yeats tells his audience their need to remain prepared
for God s return. Integration In Mathew 24:42 44, Jesus gives the warning
Therefore, keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come.

The Problem Of For Host Software Off Premise And Go The
Cloud
Making the decision to host software off premise and go the cloud is not simple or
is it a one size fits all equation. While there are several advantages of cloud solution,
there are dangers lurking just below the surface. IT Managers must assess the risk
and tread carefully when making such a decision. Four years ago, I worked on a
project to replace our call center phone system. The hardware required a forklift
upgrade because it would not support the next release of software. We assembled a
team comprised of call center and IT to explore, evaluate, and recommend a
replacement. We looked at our current vendor and other premise based solutions. At
the time, it was very controversial, but I suggested we include a cloud option... Show

Another advantage of the cloud is in physical infrastructure a tier 3 datacenter can
provide. Some of the components of a tier 3 datacenter include secure physical
housing, data redundancy, internet redundancy, power redundancy, a Fort Knox
type of physical brick and mortar construction (Ramasamy,2011). Cloud
Computing provides an excellent opportunity to for off line backups. One problem
with moving data to the cloud is that companies have a tremendous amount of data
on premise beyond the terabyte, petabyte, and exabyte, but with data mining and
big data, there is now the brontobyte or 27 zeros of data to manage (Techtarget,
n.d.). So how does one get massive amounts of data to the cloud? If the data did
not originate on the cloud, the bottleneck would be bandwidth. Amazon Simple
Storage Solution (S3) provides a solution for offline backup and storage where
companies can store databases and files off line (Donnelly, 2016). Amazon s
solution is to provide a device or appliance to physically transfer the data onto it
and then ship the device to Amazon where they transfer the data to the cloud. I
found it humorous Amazon adopted an old school solution to bandwidth
limitations what we used to call sneaker net . There was a time it was faster to
walk the data over to the next building then to try to transfer it electronically. The
Amazon appliance is called a Snowball and it provides a solution for companies to

Ancient Greece and Its Influence on Western Society Essay
Ancient Greek culture had major influences on today s culture; some of these
influences include mathematics, government, art and architecture; they even did
research in the field of medicine. Many cultures and religions have adapted their
ideas from the ancient Greeks. Without the influences of the ancient Greeks our
society wouldn t be the way it is today. The Greek culture lasted from around 776
BCE to 146 BCE (though it is argued to have begun around 1000 BCE), during this
time they invented many technologies and refined old technologies. These things are
what caused the ancient Greek culture to be such a powerful influence on western
society today.

The society that we live in today was formed from of all of the good things from
these various systems of government. Most scholars believe that democracy began
an ancient Greece. Around 510 BCE the ancient Athenians invented democracy. In
the Athenian democracy each year, 500 names were drawn from all the citizens of
Athens. Those 500 citizens had to serve for one year as the law makers of ancient
Athens. All citizens of Athens were required to vote on any new law that this body
of 500 citizens created. One man, one vote, majority ruled. Women, children, and
slaves were not citizens, and thus could not vote (Roots of Democracy). Greece was
a collection of some 1500 separate communities scattered round the Mediterranean
and Black Sea shores. At one point in ancient Greeks history there was almost 100
years serious civil unrest, but ostracisms fulfilled their functions of preventing a civil
war (Democratic Experiment). Though the Greeks were recognized as being the
inventors of democracy, they re most recognized by the modern civilization for their
artwork and architecture. Ancient Greek architecture advanced over hundreds years;
starting in the new stone age, and ending in the archaic period. The Greeks are
known for their large stone columns and huge stone buildings. Ancient architects are
even credited for building one of the Seven Wonders of the World, the statue of Zeus
at Olympia. The earliest buildings were
The Effects Of Single Parent Home Research
For several years, the focus of much single parent home research has been
concentrated on households where the father is not present. Due to the prevalent
influence of various psychoanalytical theories, and the enormous amounts of female
headed households. Research shows that there are six general effects bestowed upon
children who live in single parenthomes; regardless of the reason for the single parent
status. The six general effects are:
Loss of concentration or attention
Delinquency and substance abuse
Withdraw from family and friends
A decline in academic scores and behavioral issues at school, and at home
Emotional outbursts, and often an increase in health issues
Severe anger issues (Hurtes, 2004).
These are just the general effects on some children being raised in a single parent
home. In addition to these general effects, there are more age specific effects on
some children who live in single parent homes. The following is a brief
summarization of some effects which children of different age ranges may
experience while living in a single parent home.
For children ages 3 5 years of age:
Regression to more infant like behavior
Feeling frightened, insecure, and angry

Erik Erikson is a figure in psychology who examined many factors about the
personality. One of his theories revolves around identity crises, which he believed
countless people have gone through during their lives in order to solidify their
identity. Since his findings on this topic in the 1970s, others have done studies on
identitycrises and how they affect development as well. The concept of an identity
crisisis quite important in discovering how the ego grows and identity develops,
and it has been referenced many times in popular culture. Being that it is so
relevant to everyone s lives as Erikson believes, I picked this as a topic for this
paper in order to understand the concept more. In this paper, I define Erikson s idea
of identity crisis and then compare it to three other works which revolve around the
subject. Then I compare each article to Erikson, my personal experience, and
occasionally to each other in order to demonstrate how Erikson s ideas on identity
crisis are valid in a modern setting.
Identity crisis can be defined as a mental state where an individual is easily upset by a
sudden or intense stimulus where their egos seems to have lost any shook absorbing
capacity (Frager, 2013, p. 165). Furthermore, he states that these individual s egos
seemed to have lost any shock absorbing capacity and their sensory systems [are] in
a constant startled state (Frager, 2013, p. 165). He coined this term while treating

Animal Trainer
Animal Trainer My career for our first career cluster is Animal Trainer. An animal
trainer is in general a person who teachers animals specific responses to specific
conditions or stimuli, which may be for the purpose of companionship, detection,
protection, entertainment, etc. In addition animal trainers do all the dirty work like
take care of the animalsas in clean, feed, etc. I chose animal trainer for a few
reasons. Based off of my personality tests and such, it seemed like the perfect match
as a job. It s definitely not a job I d prefer for this project or my career but for this
cluster it s the best choice I have. For education animal trainers often need just a high
school diploma or GED equivalent. Some require a... Show more content on

For animal trainers hours are very irregular. Often weekend and holiday shifts. Some
are on duty 24 hours a day. For vacation time, that isn t blatantly specified, but
based on the facts I know already unless a person is off on the holiday shifts it
seems like animal trainers don t get much of a vacation. Salaries for this job are
significantly low at around a max of $31,590 a year. Average salaries are between
16k and 24k. Physical and emotional stress is big in this job. All of the hours
worked caretaking for animals, lifting, cleaning; the skills needed basically, can
really take a toll on someone in this job. Usually the people that work in this field
are veterinarians, animal control, other animal helpers, etc. and they are usually
animal lovers. I personally am not an animal lover but I like to have a dog or pet.
You re evaluated by your peer employees and the employees above you or at a
higher authority such as the manager of the establishment. To me there aren t
many advantages to this job besides it works with animals and it s an easy job to
be hired at. The disadvantages are numerous. The hours worked, the time not spent
with family, the amount of pain possibly involved and with all of that hard work,
not very much in return with a very low salary. If I chose to apply for this job it
could definitely help me in the long run if I play my cards right. The more I work
as an animal trainer the more I am recognized and could possibly
Essay On TPL
Effects on TPL services and firm business
Despite the third party logistics was an improvement studies area in a recent
business market, the studies of this area still existed some arguments and limitation
(Marasco, 2008). The literature review in TPL studies based on a comprehensive
literature review, which including some relevant research paper and journal paper
published within the period 1990 to recent years (Selviaridis and spring, 2007). Some
existing studies focus on the benefits and limitation of TPL services for company
management. Leahy (1995) and other scholars were defined as the TPL is usually
associated with the providing of multiple services rather than just isolation transport
functions (Leahy et al., 1995). Therefore, some other research believes that the TPL

More and more scholars realize that the integration of TPL become important
(Fynes et al., 2005). Levary (2000) was defined the integration of supply chain as
the aims and methods to improve the cooperation between company and sources,
staff, and information, also saving the costs (Levary, 2000). The integration of TPL
as a part of supply chain integration, which is a focus on the relationship, location
and operations management in each supply chain process (Zhao et al., 2006).
However, regarding the integration of TPL as a new research problem in supply
chain industry, the scholars have some different opinions in this area (Jayaram and
Tan, 2010). For example, Jayaram and Tan (2010) compare the different TPL
provider that they find the integration of TPL strategy will improve the company
performance. Other research shows that the different influence from the integration of
TPL will based on different company situation, business objectives, development
strategy and level of TPL integration decision (Zhao et al., 2006 and Carr,
All Lives Matters Movement
Racism has always been a part of American history, but recently the question does
racism still exist today has ascended due to the number of recent murders of African
Americans by police officers. Victims such as Trayvon Martin, Sandra Bland,
Michael Brown, Eric Garner, and Tamir Rice are only a few people to name that
have been unjustly murdered by police. The incident at Charleston, South Carolina
where nine lives were taken also contributed to the question of racismin the United
States. As a result, black activists Alicia Garza, Patrisse Cullors, and Opal Tometi
founded the Black Lives Matter Movement (Dalton, The Three Women Behind the

As a result, other organizations such as Blue Lives Matters, and All Lives Matters
erupted too. The Blue Lives Matters Movement was created to protect police
officers and their families. The All Lives Matters Movement was established to
ensure that all lives matter and not just black lives. The argument between Black
Lives Matter or All Lives Matter has been a heated discussion on social media for
some time now. Indeed, all lives do matter, but the number of blacks killed from in
the past five years says otherwise. Black Americans have a different experience than
other races in the United States. Even though today, everyone in American are
supposedly given the same opportunity to prosper, some hurdles are put into place for
black Americans than any other race in the United States. Black Americans are more
likely to get stopped by police than white Americans. Such acts as buying a house,
car, or applying for a job position may be more difficult for an African American
with the same credentials as a white American. People who do not understand how
the Black Lives Matter Movement is an establishment to help aid the oppression of
blacks without belittling other races are like that because they do not experience
the black experience in America. Not to say that white people aren t killed by
policemen, but white Americans aren t targeted by policemen. During the mass
shooting of the church in Charleston, South Carolina committed by Dylann Roof,
for example, he was labeled as mentally ill . When the shooting of the Sandy Hook
elementary school in Connecticut happened, the shooter was also labeled as
mentally ill . When blacks are killed wrongfully, usually a picture of an old
mugshot appears as the cover face. Surveillances and voice recordings of murders of
unarmed blacks on national television are displayed. Officers involved in such cases

Title: Volatile Organic Compound detection using Graphene: Determining the Fruit
Ripeness
1Introduction
Fruits are commercially vital and nutritionally crucial food constituent. Forming an
element of a balanced diet, fruits supply essential growth governing factors required
for good health and play a critical role in human nutrition. Distributed widely in
nature, their economic values are influenced by comparatively short ripening period
and short post harvest life. The assessment and maintenance of the quality of fruits
and vegetables are very difficult task. The timely detection of fruit ripeness is very
important as it is related to the profitability and also competitiveness of the
producers as well as processors. During harvesting and handling it is common that
fruits are subject to damage because it is not possible always to
Liberal News Media Analysis
News sources are networks where many people are informed about important news
event. Being liberal bias about news networks is to be open to new opinions about
an event and sometimes can be given false information or misinterpretation about
it. Having a conservative view about the news is still having to hold to certain
beliefs and values and being cautious about what changes are happening. Many
people get news from the six powers house news networks that are either liberal or
conservative. CBS, ABC, and NBC were the only news networks, since 1948,
where people were able to get the recent news happening and are now considered
the mainstream news channels which also have a liberal view about the news. CNN,
MSNBC, and CNBC are the news networks that run in cable tv and are considered

These cable news started in the 1980s because the mainstream news did not get all
the information out and were not telling the whole truth. Later in 1996, FOX News
started and became really popular because of being both liberal and conservative
and were considered the truth seekers. FOX News decided to become a news
network because since all the other six news networks were not telling the whole
truth, Fox decided to get the information and tell the truth without lying and getting
everything out. Before cable news, the mainstream news networks were the only
channels where many people get the news. All three news networks talk about the
same event happening currently, but not all will have the same details and have
different information and sometimes that information is not truth or correct because
these news sources want to be the first ones to get the news on air for people to
view and at times leave out the main focus of the occurrence. ABC, CBS, and NBC
are liberal bias and at times misinterpreted the news and give false information.

The New Testament Church Act 2 Essay
Act 2, gave us a vivid description of how the new testament church began. After
Peter preaches on the Pentecost day many were touched by what Peter said. Act 2
recorded that many who were present when Peter spoke had the urgency to receive
the gospel so that their sins can be forgiven. Although many accused the disciples of
being drunk the good news is that Peter was able to make it clear that they were not
drunk rather they filled with the holy spirit. Fulfilling the prophecy that was given to
the Jews by the prophets.
Act 2 : 14 Then Peter stood up with the Eleven, raised his voice and addressed the
crowd: Fellow Jews and all of you who live in Jerusalem, let me explain this to you;
listen carefully to what I say. 15 These people are not drunk, as you suppose. It s

29 Fellow Israelites, I can tell you confidently that the patriarch David died and
was buried, and his tomb is here to this day. 30 But he was a prophet and knew that
God had promised him on oath that he would place one of his descendants on his
throne. 31 Seeing what was to come, he spoke of the resurrection of the Messiah,
that he was not abandoned to the realm of the dead, nor did his body see decay. 32
God has raised this Jesus to life, and we are all witnesses to it. 33 Exalted to the right
hand of God, he has received from the Father the promised Holy Spirit and has
poured out what you now see and hear.
Witherington believed that many who listened to Peter came from different parts of
the word (page 182). It seems that many who accepted peter message heed to it and
probably took back the message to their various home country to evangelize what they
have heard.
The new testament church began after the event at the Pentecost day because many
went back to form their own cell groups or church after returning from
Buffalo Soldiers Research Paper
Buffalo Soldiers were made up of former slaves, freemen and black Civil War
Soldiers. Buffalo Soldiers got their names from the Indians because of the way
they looked. Their short curly hair and their dark faces reminded Indians of
buffalo. Another reason they were called Buffalo Soldiers is because of their fierce
way of fighting reminded the Indians of the way the buffalo fought. The last reason
they were called the Buffalo Soldiers was because they often wore thick coats made
of buffalo hide in the cold of winter. In 1867 there were four black regiments: the 9th
and 10th Cavalryunits and the 24th and 25th Infantry units called the Buffalo
Soldiers. The first black regiment to get the name of Buffalo Soldiers was the 10th
cavalry.

They were also keepers of law and order in general, and they were active in building
roads and military structures. One of the first black man to graduate from West Point
was Henry O. Flipper. He then became the commander of the 10th regiment at Fort
Sill, which lay Indian Territory. The oldest Buffalo Soldierever was Mark Matthews
who died on September 6, 2005. He is interred at Arlington National Cemetery and
was 111 years old. Buffalo soldiers fought in the Indian Wars which occurred between
1622 and 1924. Buffalo Soldiers fought in the Southwest and on the Plains. Buffalo
Soldiers often distinguished themselves in spite of old horses, meager ammunition,
and faulty equipment. As settlers moved into the Southwest, the black regiments had
to fight against outlaws and Apaches. In 1886, during the Apache Wars, the 10th
Regiment pursued Geronimo into the Pitino Mountains of Mexico. In addition to
controlling the Indians of the Plains and Southwest, the soldiers policed cattle
rustlers and built roads
Plate Tectonics And Its Impact On The Earth
Plate tectonics occur not only just on Earth, but on other planets in the galaxy as
well, such as Venus, Mars, and ancient Mercury. Since there are several planets in the
Milky Way that have plate tectonics, it is questionable about if size is a key factor in
the likelihood of tectonics on foreign planets. Vol canoes, mountains, ocean ridges,
earthquakes, and tsunamis all would not be possible without the movement of the
Earths tectonic plates. Dependent upon heat for movement, tectonic plates are one of
the victims of Earth s active life. Since the Earth is not static in movement, landforms
are moved and shifted slowly but surely each day. It is questionable if hydration and
planetsize are significant factors in the likelihood of plate tectonicson super Earths.
Tectonism is the moving and deformity of the exterior layer of a planet caused by
heat loss. The constant movement of molten lava in the planet s interior causes plate
tectonics, and some planets in modernity still have active tectonics, such as Earth,
Mars, and Venus. As for Mercury and the Moon, the two have been tectonically
active in the past, but still have features on their surfaces which exemplify plate
tectonics to have once existed (USRA, 2009). Scientists are starting to study the
hypothesis that the size of a planet and the amount of water it possesses affects the
likelihood of plate tectonics on a planet, including planets like super Earths. A super
Earth is a foreign planet that is ab normally larger
Database Management and Information Retrieval
Differentiate between database management system and information retrieval system
by focusing on their functionalities. Answer
A database management system (DBMS) is the main software tools of the database
management approach because it controls the creation, maintenance and use of the
databases of an organization and its end users. Information retrieval is a system that to
provide the relevant information based on the user needed. This process can be find
through the passwords or keywords or query from the users. Beside provide or find
the relevant information towards the query, information retrieval also make a ranking
toward the information. Every document that are provided will have the ranking and
the information that have highest ranking will be known more relevan rather than
others. Information retrieval act as intermediation between the user and the
information provided.

The Books Of Matthew And 1 Corinthians
Hermeneutical Matthew and 1 Corinthians The books of Matthew and 1 Corinthians
are mainly focused around love and what that is supposed to look like through Christ.
Starting with Matthew, it begins by walking us through the birth of Jesus and all of
the events that took place during and after. It also talks about his baptism and
specifically that John the baptist was who performed it. After everything about Jesus
early life is introduced, it jumps straight into his preaching. Chapter four of
Matthew is where it really begins to talk about Jesus work. Not only does it
introduce us to his preaching styles, but it also quickly introduces Satin who seems
to follow Jesus around for a while attempting to cause problems. Matthew chapter
four tells you right off the bat what is about to take place. The first verse says,
Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil.
(NIV Matthew 4:1). At this point, Jesus had fasted for forty days and forty nights,
and the first temptation form the devil was food. He says, ...If you are the Son of
God, tell these stones to become bread. (NIV Matthew 4:3). Jesus of course rejects
his temptation and the many more that followed. After these events took place,
Jesus leaves to begin his preaching. In doing so, he also chooses his disciples while
walking along the Sea of Galilee. Jesus took his disciples with him through Galilee
and began his preaching there. He healed the sick and suffering, and also performed
Ophiocordyceps Unilateralis
For my parasite I picked Ophiocordyceps unilateralis or the zombie ant fungus. This
fungus infects tree dwelling carpenter ants in tropical rainforests and forces them to
do its biding. The parasitic fungus spreads itself around by releasing spores into the
air like most fungi. The catch is that to be able to mature itself to the point of passing
along its offspring it has to sacrifice an ant. Once an ant has become infected it
behaves very bizarrely. The fungus forces the ant to crawl out to the end of a leaf
and then it begins to shake violently. This causes the ant to fall to the forest floor
where it begins to look for a nearby plant. Once it has found a suitable plant, usually
one around 10cm from the ground, it climbs out onto a leaf
Value My Family
I was born in a family that is very connected. My family would help each other in
many ways including help in homework, tests, quizzes, keeping the house in shape
order and so on. The most important thing in my life is my family. The reason why
I value my family so much is because they help me in my everyday life. My brother
helps me with school, my sister helps me in writing my essays, and my motherand
father keep the house clean and stable. If I didn t have such a family, I would not be
the person I am today.
What I value the most in my life is my family. The reason why I value my family is
because they help me go through life, guiding me through life s challenges. For
example, regarding school, my older sister and my brother help teach me things
that I didn t understand. For example, when I began writing important pieces in
ELA including essays, my sister laid out the basic outline for an essay. Then my
brother would check my essay for grammar mistakes, improper tense or sloppy
wording. My brother also helps me out in math and science. He recently began
helping me out in math and science as soon as I began Manhattan Village Academy.
My brother would teach me concepts in math that he is learning in geometry at
school. These concepts would give me a better understanding of the Geometry of
Manhattan Village Academy. In addition, my twin brother is taking Biology, and
would fill me in on the biological components of AP Environmental Science. I also

The Causes Of Relapse
Relapse is an unpredictable risk factor for every patient. Before treatment begins,
patients need to be informed of the long term risk of relapse and the ways that this
may be reduced.
Some causes of relapse are within the control of the orthodontist. Others, such as soft
tissue changes and latent growth, are not, and may explain long term changes in
tooth position.
Removable retainers offer the potential for better oral hygiene, and patients are
responsible for their wear. At least in the short term, vacuum formed retainers may
be preferable to Hawley retainers as they are more cost effective, preferred by
patients, and more effective at reducing relapse in the lower arch. Vacuum formed
retainers or Hawley retainers can be worn on a part time basis and do not require a
period of full time wear. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This is because although bonded retainers can break, vacuum formed retainers are
lost more frequently and therefore are not worn.
Bonded retainers have the disadvantage of needing long term maintenance to ensure
that they are not compromising periodontal health and are still fi rmly bonded.
Interproximal reduction may have a role in reducing relapse in the lower labial
segment, and pericision may reduce rotational relapse. Further high quality clinical
trials would resolve some of the uncertainties in post treatment relapse and retention

Use of Satire to Target Religion, Military, and Optimism in Voltaire s Candide
In his work, Candide, Voltaire uses satire as a means of conveying his opinions about
many aspects of European society in the eighteenth century. Voltaire successfully
criticizes religion, the military, and the philosophy of optimism.
Religious leaders are the targets of satire throughout Candide. Voltaire portrays the
religious clergy as men who use their positions to further their own causes. In
addition, the priests keep the less fortunate oppressed, so the clergy members can
continue to enjoy extravagant luxuries. Candide discovers the young Baron, whom
he thought to be dead, living among the Jesuit Priests of Paraguay. Assuming the

Yet, the Baron is a man of little if any virtue, not to mention the fact that he is a
homosexual. Voltaire also introduces Brother Giroflee, a monk who was forced into
the religious orders by his parents at the age of fifteen. He detests the monastery,
wishes to set fire to his convent, and employs the services of prostitutes frequently.
The religious leaders have not chosen to serve their people any more than the military
soldiers have chosen to serve honor.
Military leaders and war were also objects in Voltaire s satirical narrative Candide.
A military leader did not have to possess a great passion for honor or service of his
King. After all, Candide qualified simply because he was 5 foot 5 inches tall.
Voltaire describes these men serving in the military as lost souls who have been
impressed into the service. Soldiers have no real alliance and usually fight on
whatever side they find themselves. Voltaire uses words to describe the war that
create the image of a melodious marching band at a New Year s parade. The story
calls war itself heroic butchery. Voltaire uses this oxymoron to express his belief that
war was nothing more than organized killing of human beings with no real purpose.
Of course, the idea that anything would happen with no real purpose is directly
opposing the theory of Optimism expressed by the character Pangloss. According to
Pangloss teaching everything is for the best in the best of all possible worlds. Voltaire

University. As a result, a 3,000 scholarship for my education will help me a help
me a lot to pay for my school tuition, which is $ 4,000 for 5 classes that I take each

When I Came To Diversity Essay
I always thought that I was an expert when it came to diversity. My mom is from
the tropical islands of the Philippines while my dad is from the landlocked Czech
Republic. I have yet to meet a part Filipina, part Czech, part American I must qualify
as some kind of international hybrid and therefore embody the very definition of
diversity. Right?
Not exactly.
To say I experienced culture shock when, smack in the middle of my junior year, my
dad s job moved us to Paris, is an understatement. Suddenly, Memphis Beale Street
was replaced by the Champs ElysГ©es, and the Memphis pyramid, home of the Bass
Pro Shop megastore, turned into the Arc de Triomphe.
Yet even in this unfamiliar environment, I assumed I would feel at home at my
international school because I, of course, knew everything there was to know about
diversity. The American School of Paris (my new school) has students... Show more

I watched as sushi was traded for samosas, and found myself seeking out the
familiarity of like minded Americans who, like me, were eating peanut butter and
jelly sandwiches. Yet with only a handful of students who came from a typical
American public school, there were few PB Js in sight. At this moment, I realized my
ignorance.
Although I had anticipated a departure from the fairly homogenous crowd at my
former school, I expected to find a new crowd of individuals just like me a diverse
background but an Americanized spirit. This was not the case.
I knew, however, I could not stand by with my old mindset and let this sea of
diversity overwhelm me. My determination to embrace true diversity has enabled
me to build a number of meaningful relationships that have expanded my
worldview. My friends at the American School of Paris (ASP) and I constantly
contrast our experiences and upbringings. From how the school system works in
Germany to what parties are like in Sri Lanka, we have discussed it
Essay on Boyles Law Apparatus
Abstract The objective of this lab was to determine the relationship (if any), between
the pressure and volume of a gas given the temperature and # of molecules remained
constant. Using the Boyle s law apparatus, and textbooks to demonstrate pressure it
was concluded that there was a relationship between pressureand volume. However,
the relationship was not a direct relationship, and it was determined that the pressure
and volume of a gasare inversely proportioned. Thus, proving Boyle s theory correct.

Tom Cruise Pre Crime
In the movie that stars Tom Cruise as the head detective for the pre crime unit
there are several intriguing ideas going on. John Anderson who is played by Tome
Cruise gets his information from what is known as the pre cogs who are a group of
two males and one female. These pre cogs are able to see into the futurewhen a
murder is going to take place. These three people are floating in a liquid unable to
move to leave. They stay lying there all day and night just to serve the purpose of
warning the pre crimepoliceof danger that is suppose to come. Which sets up our first
dilemma that takes place during this movie.
These three people or pre cogs because in the movie they are not really thought as
being human beings are really imprisoned. They don t have the ability to leave or go
home; instead they are forced into drugs that keep them somewhat conscious but not
too much as to know of their surroundings. They were being used really for someone
else s gain, which turned out in the end not to be the pre crime police. In the movie ...

138). In this movie however, the pre crime police task force violates that right.
They instead choose to believe in the belief that we are predestined in the case of
committing murder. They fail to believe that people can choose the path that they
take in life and whether or not they want to commit a certain act whatever it shall
be. A person has free will and with that power they have the ability to decide to
murder someone or not. The movie shows that at the end we do in fact have a
choice to whether or not we murder someone. Hence, the rationale behind arresting
people who have yet to commit a crime should be illegal and unethical. You are
stripping that person of his or her rights and reaching the belief that humans have no
sense of free

Religion In Uncle Toms Cabin
Whenever people are going through a tough time, they have different reactions in
terms of how they handle the situation that they are in. Some people just decide to
stay in the situation that they are in, some turn to sports, and some people use their
faith to pray and act as a good Christian to get through their tough times. Published in
1852 by Harriet Beecher Stowe, the characters in Uncle Tom s Cabin heavily and
frequently turn to God in order to pray that they get out of the situation the
characters are in which is being slave. The novel shows the escape of two slaves
named George and Eliza and the journey of the most moral and devout Christian in
this book the main character Uncle Tom. The concept and ideology of religion in
Uncle Tom s plays a large role in the novel because it religion influences the actions
of the slaves and other characters on numerous occasions and it provides a better
sense of identity for the slaves. In addition, after reading this classic novel, it is

slavery. Lastly, this novel goes against some of the classic stereotypes regarding
slavery. There are many instances in Uncle Tom s Cabin in which holds an
influence on the actions of the characters. For example, while traveling in route to
New Orleans, Tom was granted permission to do whatever he pleased to do on the
boat. The first thing that Tom did was take out his bible and starts reading it.1 This

Few reason are power plants are big targets for terrorism, also a lot of money goes into making this plant and next thing you know it could have a meltdown or produce deadly waste. Another reason is the waste won t go away for 200 500 thousand years, which could affect our water sources and pollute our waters. Also there are high risks and unknown risks of what could happen to the power plant. So I think that we shouldn t have a nuclear powerplant. These power plants are big targets for terrorism because of a few reasons. One if terrorists decide that they want to wipe out a town they put a bomb on the power plant and that will cause a big explosion. All it takes for any damage to be done is one person to slack of or one person not do something correctly and the whole city or town can be destroyed. So there is another reason why I think we should not build a power plant. Nuclear accidents are another big reason why we should not have a power plant. Randomly out of the ordinary a nuclear accident may happen and it will end up harming people and making them move out of town. Therefore the town s population will decrease and less people will live there and the point for the nuclear power plant is gone. Also it could end up killing all of east pennsboro and possibly even more. So I think we shouldn t build the power

  • 4. Consequences In Literature Decisions and Consequences of Actions in Literature Making a decision is like standing at a crossroads and trying to decide which direction to go; one road might lead you towards a dark forest, the other towards a colorful city. Either way, the decision you make will be the one you live with the consequences of. Similar to this, several characters in the novels The Scarlet Letter and The Other Wes Moore have to live with the burden of their consequences for indefinitely. The theme that every decision taken leads one down an irreversible path highlights the usage of imagery and stream of consciousness in the author s writing. The theme that every decision made leads one down an irreversible path can be seen several times in the novel The Other Wes Moore. Wes, when caught attempting to escape military school, is brought back and allowed a brief phone call with his mother. He uses this chance to plead to his mother to let him return home, to which Mary replies, too many people [had] sacrificed in order for [him] to be there (Moore 95). This quote references the theme by indicating that all decisions have unchangeable consequences. By Mary s order, Wes stays in military school, which ultimately turns him around as a person completely. Mary s strong decision causes Wes to become a better person. Later on in the book, the theme is once again illustrated when Wes is caught tagging. After Wes and Shea are put into the back of a police cruiser, Wes has a large revelation about life

  • 7. Franz Haydn Essay Franz Joseph Haydn Joseph Haydn is regarded as one of the greatest composers of the classical period. He is often called the father of both the symphony and the string quartet, and he founded what is known as the Viennese classical school, which consisted of himself, his friend, Wolfgang Mozart, and his pupil, Ludwig van Beethoven. During his lifetime, he produced a mind boggling amount of music. He lived from the end of the baroque period to the beginning of the romantic period, and presided over the transition between them. In 1761, Count Morzin was forced to disband his orchestra due to financial problems. It wasn t long, however, before Haydn was offered another job, this time in Eisenstadt, Austria, as assistant Kapellmeister for Prince Paul Anton Esterhazy, who was greatly impressed by the music that Haydn performed while he was with the Morzin orchestra. Paul Anton died in 1762 and was succeeded by his brother Nicholas, who was also a music lover and played the baryton (a brass wind instrument). Thus, Haydn composed more than a hundred trios for baryton, viola, and bass during the next thirteen years. Haydn also composed several short operas and a full length opera, named Acide. Upon the death of Gregor Werner in 1766, Joseph Haydn was promoted to Kapellmeister (musical director). Prior to his death, Werner earned slightly over half of the wage paid to his highly talented, younger assistant. The orchestra was expanded, and Haydn composed four to five symphonies a year. He also continued to compose operas. In 1768, Haydn and the Esterhazy orchestra moved to Eszterhaza, a beautiful new palace built by Prince Nicholas. During this time, Haydn did not maintain his usual volume of symphony production, as he composed less than ten between 1766 and 1770. However, Haydn experienced a renewed interest in writing string quartets. He composed three

The former religion of the Romans was polytheism based and could not give comfort to the destitute. The many Gods and Goddesses did not lend themselves to the idea of equality and salvation. Christianity proclaimed the equality of all people. People were considered equal in Christianity and the Christian God was the unquestioned authority. This God did not share a pantheon with others, he was the one and only. The new religion rejected the existing social system of slavery, and thus gave rise to hope of liberation from oppression of the most desperate people. The religion called for the reconstruction of the world. It gave hope to slaves, hope for freedom to common people through a simple and accessible way through the adoption of the doctrine of Christ (Adair, 2008, pp.18 19). Initially, Christianity spread among the Jews of Palestine and the Mediterranean diaspora of the Jews. But starting from the first decades, especially through the work of the Apostle Paul, it has acquired a large number of followers among other nations (Adair, 2008, p.19). Changes needed to be made and kept. There were several laws put in place, but with these two specific laws put in place had made an immediate effect on our country and the previous healthcare laws that were set in stone were no more. The fact that the tested children grouped the actions in accordance with the grammatical structure of their respective language is evidence for linguistic relativity, as both groups of children construe(d) the relations between objects in the world on the basis of their language specific categories, and not on the basis of some universal, conceptual categories (Dirven and Verspoor 1998:140 141). This suggests that the children from the two linguistic communities will partly see the world in a different way, being inclined to categorise the things they see in contrasting fashions. Certain features are deemed important enough to warrant a category, and different languages prioritise different qualities. What this means is that when we say something belongs to a certain set, e.g. that putting toys into a container falls into an in group, we are focussing on some, but neglecting other details of the situation, such as the tightness of the fit. • 15. Summary Of The Second Coming William Butler Yeats The Second Coming Journal Observation In his blank verse poem The Second Coming, Irish poet William Butler Yeats describes the turmoil and darkness surrounding the lives of people on earth before the second coming of Christ. One way that Yeats communicates the spiritual darkness in the last generation is by using a metaphor. Yeats writes darkness drops again...twenty centuries of stony sleep (Yeats 1028). By describing the last generation before the coming of Christ as in a stony sleep, Yeats communicates the idea that the people lack awareness to the reality of the soon coming of Christ and remain indifferent to Him. Also, Yeats uses the lion to allude to the Bible s description of God as the Lion of Judah. Thus, the Lion in the poem represents God returning as a righteous judge at the second coming to take His people with Him and judge the unrepentant. Interpretation In his poem The Second Coming, Yeats words serve to warn people of the dangers of falling spiritually asleep. As the violence causes things [to] fall apart all around them, people continue following their own evil paths with passionate intensity (Yeats 1028). However, they suddenly realize that they lack all conviction by failing to accept God s salvation through the message displayed in Bethlehem (Yeats 1028). Since the people remained spiritually asleep, they become suddenly awakened and vexed to [a] nightmare by a rocking cradle (Yeats 1028), when Christ returns and they are found unprepared. Because they failed to accept Christ when they still had time, the second coming appears suddenly upon them and their hopes for salvation are lost as the lion comes to judge the world. By sharing the terrifying reality of the generation in stony sleep before God s second coming, Yeats tells his audience their need to remain prepared for God s return. Integration In Mathew 24:42 44, Jesus gives the warning Therefore, keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come. But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into. So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man

Another advantage of the cloud is in physical infrastructure a tier 3 datacenter can provide. Some of the components of a tier 3 datacenter include secure physical housing, data redundancy, internet redundancy, power redundancy, a Fort Knox type of physical brick and mortar construction (Ramasamy,2011). Cloud Computing provides an excellent opportunity to for off line backups. One problem with moving data to the cloud is that companies have a tremendous amount of data on premise beyond the terabyte, petabyte, and exabyte, but with data mining and big data, there is now the brontobyte or 27 zeros of data to manage (Techtarget, n.d.). So how does one get massive amounts of data to the cloud? If the data did not originate on the cloud, the bottleneck would be bandwidth. Amazon Simple Storage Solution (S3) provides a solution for offline backup and storage where companies can store databases and files off line (Donnelly, 2016). Amazon s solution is to provide a device or appliance to physically transfer the data onto it and then ship the device to Amazon where they transfer the data to the cloud. Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The society that we live in today was formed from of all of the good things from these various systems of government. Most scholars believe that democracy began an ancient Greece. Around 510 BCE the ancient Athenians invented democracy. In the Athenian democracy each year, 500 names were drawn from all the citizens of Athens. Those 500 citizens had to serve for one year as the law makers of ancient Athens. All citizens of Athens were required to vote on any new law that this body of 500 citizens created. One man, one vote, majority ruled. Women, children, and slaves were not citizens, and thus could not vote (Roots of Democracy). Greece was a collection of some 1500 separate communities scattered round the Mediterranean and Black Sea shores. At one point in ancient Greeks history there was almost 100 years serious civil unrest, but ostracisms fulfilled their functions of preventing a civil war (Democratic Experiment). Though the Greeks were recognized as being the inventors of democracy, they re most recognized by the modern civilization for their artwork and architecture. Ancient Greek architecture advanced over hundreds years; starting in the new stone age, and ending in the archaic period. The Greeks are known for their large stone columns and huge stone buildings. One of his theories revolves around identity crises, which he believed countless people have gone through during their lives in order to solidify their identity. Since his findings on this topic in the 1970s, others have done studies on identitycrises and how they affect development as well. The concept of an identity crisisis quite important in discovering how the ego grows and identity develops, and it has been referenced many times in popular culture. Being that it is so relevant to everyone s lives as Erikson believes, I picked this as a topic for this paper in order to understand the concept more. In this paper, I define Erikson s idea of identity crisis and then compare it to three other works which revolve around the subject. Then I compare each article to Erikson, my personal experience, and occasionally to each other in order to demonstrate how Erikson s ideas on identity crisis are valid in a modern setting. Identity crisis can be defined as a mental state where an individual is easily upset by a sudden or intense stimulus where their egos seems to have lost any shook absorbing capacity (Frager, 2013, p. 165). Indeed, all lives do matter, but the number of blacks killed from in the past five years says otherwise. Black Americans have a different experience than other races in the United States. Even though today, everyone in American are supposedly given the same opportunity to prosper, some hurdles are put into place for black Americans than any other race in the United States. Black Americans are more likely to get stopped by police than white Americans. Vol canoes, mountains, ocean ridges, earthquakes, and tsunamis all would not be possible without the movement of the Earths tectonic plates. Dependent upon heat for movement, tectonic plates are one of the victims of Earth s active life. Since the Earth is not static in movement, landforms are moved and shifted slowly but surely each day. The catch is that to be able to mature itself to the point of passing along its offspring it has to sacrifice an ant. Once an ant has become infected it behaves very bizarrely. The fungus forces the ant to crawl out to the end of a leaf and then it begins to shake violently. This causes the ant to fall to the forest floor where it begins to look for a nearby plant.
