As a teacher in the secondary school system in Nigeria for many years, experience
has shown that, there are two categories of teachers the good or effective teachers,
and the bad or ineffective teachers observable from among teachers in the school
system.
The effective teachers are perceived to be fully equipped naturally and professionally
to lead their students to success in competitive standardized tests, as well as inculcate
in them, values that would make them exhibit behaviours that are generally desirable
and acceptable.

This behaviour has the tendency of reducing productivity and efficiency on the part
of the teachers. These ill behaved teachers as they may be described may tend to
produce their types from among the students, since children tend to emulate adults
they see as their models. In the fore going descriptions of teachers in the school

Highet (1977), in identifying the kinds of teachers, said that, there are good or

teaching profession who are well adjusted are somewhat extroverted, but many other

Let me start by introducing you to what the Infantry is. The Infantry is where
younger men go to become professional killers, in order to defend the constitution
of the United States of America. It is the assembly line that takes your everyday
kid and turns him into a weapon for the greater good. An Infantryman is trained to
face combat on foot with only his fellow Soldiers and his rifle. He will fight the

Once that person passes all assigned tasks he will then be awarded the Infantry Blue
Cord. The blue cord signifies the bond that all Infantry Soldiers share and the
sacrifices that will be expected of him.
After the training is complete, that Soldier will be shipped to his Unit (company).
The company rank structure is as follows: Company Commander in the rank of a
Captain, the Company Commander will have an adviser that is called the Company
First Sergeant in the rank of a Master Sergeant (E 8). Along with the two most
ranking persons in the company, they will have an Executive Officer in the rank of
First Lieutenant (XO for short). The three most ranking persons in the company
come up with the standard operating procedures and pass out any directions or tasks
that need to be completed. They have a control span of usually three platoons of 40

Faulkner. The other story I am using to compare and contrast with is Killings written
by Andre Dubus. These stories are similar in plot and theme. Both of these stories
deal with murder, love and revenge. Though, love and murder are presented in
different ways in the two stories. The main character in both these stories are of the

Matt is a middle class man who becomes obsessed with the need to get revenge on
his son s death. His son Frank is killed by a man named Richard. He is the husband
and dads father of the women his son is in love with. This is what leads Matt into

Emily was obsessed with holding on to the past and to avoid change. When her father
dies she is really sad. She then meets a man named Homer Barron. She is afraid she

death. This makes the reader sympathize with the protagonist who show their love by

Another similarity in the stories is both of the characters are about their life styles
and reasons for their actions. Emily and Matt are both seeking revenge. Matt

A terrifying situation occurred on May 28, 2016, a young boy, only three years old,
accidently fell into the Gorilla World Habitat in the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical
