Jung Personality Typology Test Is Designed For Determine...
Jung Personality Typology Test is designed to determine personality type. There are 16 different
personality types measured by 8 traits: extraversion, introversion, sensing, intuition, feeling, thinking,
judging, and perceiving. The leader s results are predominately extrovert, slight preference of sensing
over intuition, slight preference of feeling over thinking, and slight preference of judging over
perceiving (Jung Typology Test, 2017). The Communications Quiz is designed to measure how
effective leaders are at all points in the communications process. The results determined the leader
was a capable communicator, however the leader needed to take the time and think about the approach
to communication, and concentrate on receiving ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Part 4. Relationship Building Action Plan People skills are instrumental to a leader s success because
they allow leaders to effectively communicate and listen to their employees. They add value to the
organization by creating trust and mutual respect. Leaders with good people skills communicate
effectively, listen to their employees, understand their employees, and their employees trust them. The
leader s performance was severely affected from lack of people skills. Communication, emotional IQ,
and personality were all areas that the leader needed to improve upon. Communication was identified
multiple times in the peer review and evaluation as a deficiency. The leader s lack of communication
directly led to a loss of productivity in the department. Furthermore, employees felt that they were not
being listening to, leading to a loss of moral and trust. Also, the leader was completely oblivious to the
emotions within the department. If the leader would have taken the time to perceive and understand
the employees emotions, they would have been able to identify the issues within the department and
take corrective measures. Also, things would have never gotten this out of hand if the leader had a
better personality. Many of the employees felt the leader was unapproachable and acted better than
they were, causing employees to stop following the leader. The leader follower relationship is
instrumental to fulfilling the strategic plan of the leader. The leader

El Salvador s Impact On The United States
The area that is currently El Salvador was originally comprised of 3 vast indigenous states and various
territories. The Pipils, indigenous occupants who settled in present day Mexico, are a nomadic people
that originated from Nahua. The Lencas settled and represented the eastern district while the Mayan
the Chortis occupied the North zone of the Lempa Hi River.
In 1524, Spanish conquistador Pedro de Alvarado neglected to seize area in light of the Pipil warriors.
Be that as it may, in 1525 he returned and effectively vanquished the nation and named it El Salvador
which English translation means, The Savior . In 1811, the longings for freedom reverberated
throughout the country, yet was quickly pounded by the troops sent by neighboring country
Guatemala. In 1821, El Salvador and other Central American nations declared independence from
Spain and were joined to Mexico the following year, however El Salvador opposed the union. The
nation turned into an autonomous republic in 1838 after the Central American coalition separated.
Geology
El Salvador is the least expansive nation in Central America and is no bigger than the state of
Massachusetts. This precipitous nation is flanked by the Pacific Ocean, Guatemala, and Honduras.
Known as the Land of Volcanoes, El Salvador has incessant seismic tremors and volcanic movement.
It is the sole nation in Central America that does not have a coastline on the Caribbean Sea. Also, the
backwoods of El Salvador have been chopped down

Why Was Henry Wirz Guilty
...and on the charge that the prisoner did with others to conspire to destroy the lives of soldiers in the
military service of the United States in violation of the laws and customs of war Guilty were the words
that soared out of Wallace s mouth at the end of the trial. It was then that Henry Wirz was found guilty.
Why? Why was he found guilty? This decision was based on the emotional aspect of the witnesses,
and not by the actual guilt. Not only my defense, but also the defense of Wirz s attorney, Baker, the
testimony of the defendant, Henry Wirz, shows that Wirz should not have been found guilty. Henry
Wirz ran Andersonville, one of the many Confederate prison camps, which was located in Georgia.

Davidson, Jasper Culver, and Dr. John C. Bates were called to the stand to prove that Henry Wirz was
guilty. Fortunately, these three witnesses have testified Wirz as being not guilty.
One of the witnesses was James H. Davidson Davidson was a prisoner at the camp who was called to
the stand to testify about the dogs. He stated that the dogs in Andersonville were very harmful and had
wounded, or had even killed, some of the Union soldiers. When being asked questions by Chipman,
the attorney for prosecution, Davidson stated that the prisoners who tried to escape were mauled by
the dogs. He also said that Wirz watched and cheered as the dogs were attacking the soldiers saying,
get those Yankee bastards! Why should this be Wirz s fault? Why? Perhaps Davidson himself was not
so close to the dog attack, because he himself was not attacked; therefore, he cannot prove that it is
Wirz s fault for the dogs. The man that was dragged into the camp could have, indeed, survived. No
one, I repeat no one, has proof that that man had been killed. Lastly, many of the men had wounds on
their bodies; but, why are the dogs to blame? Those wounds and scratches could have been caused by
something else other than those dogs. Not only did many of these deaths come from the dogs, but a lot
of the deaths came from the deadline.
The deadline was a border along the Andersonville camp; if an individual crossed the deadline,

Women Discrimination Paper
The word discrimination can be described in many ways around the world. My paper talks about
female discrimination in the workplace and the battle for equality. Women have been fighting for their
rights since the early 1800s. During the 1960s, women started to demand equal rights and the same
opportunities that men had been given. In 1963 John F. Kennedy signed into law the Equal Pay Act, a
federal law amending the Fair Labor Standards Act signed into law by President Franklin D.
Roosevelt in 1938 ending the gender based pay discrimination.
The Fight Since the 1980s, the number of women holding managerial and professional positions has
doubled, but the number of women working in corporate officer positions at Fortune 500 companies is

Roles Of The English Monarchy
The English monarchy s role is to govern the United Kingdom, to unite, keep the United Kingdom
safe, and represent Britain. The English monarchy has been around for centuries since the Romans to
modern day England. The Monarchs take on duties that have been around for centuries. The monarch,
however, is a constitutional monarchy which means that according to the constitution there are rules
that monarchs must follow. She does not act alone but works with Parliament, the country s legislative
body. One of the official duties of the monarchy is to schedule meetings with the Prime Minister to
discuss on Parliament s latest debates and new bills being formed. The monarchy must give her
approval of the bills before Parliament passes them and they become law. The monarchs residual
powers include enacting legislation, giving out awards of honor, to sign treaties, and to declare war.
The monarch also has the power to decline the government s request to dissolve Parliament and call an
election. The monarch chooses a Prime Minister to guide the monarchy and is responsible for policies
and decisions in government. Today, England s current Prime Minister is Theresa May as of July 13th.

Leadership Is The Ability Of An Individual Guide People,...
Leadership is the ability of an individual to guide people, teams or organizations. According to Rath
Conchie (2008) there are 3 attributes that make an influential leader: invest in strengths, incases
themselves around the right people to maximize their team and they empathize with their team.
Leadership skills is something that can be taught and each leader can discover new ways to expand
their leadership style. This paper will examine the writer s leadership style, showing the results of the
personality assessments, how to build upon the strengths and discipline the weaknesses, how to
motivate others with leadership skills and how to foster my emotional intelligence.
Leadership Profile Results
Addressed are the five assessments that were taken, along with their results; Keirsey Temperament
Sorter (Guardian), Ipersonic assessment (Determined Realist), the Jung Typology (Extraverted,
Sensing, Thinking, J udging), the Leadership Q (gold trustee ii), and lastly the Emotional Intelligence
assessment (self awareness 78, self management 67, social awareness 74 and relationship management
63).
There are several similar trait results that were illustrated among all of the assessments; following
rules, respecting authority, being responsible, being organized, factual, has fun but only after the work
is completed, dependable and trustworthy. According to the Keirsey Temperament Sorter, the
Guardian is the foundation of society. The Guardian and Determined Realist like to have

Environmentally Sustainable City Of South Australia
Environmentally sustainable city has been Adelaide City Council s priority vision and by 2012, carbon
emissions have reduced by 60%.1 A city that continues to adapt to climate change, utilizes water and
energy efficiently, maintains the natural resources wisely and reduces waste is quite a great challenge
for local council.2 However, effective strategies do help in achieving their vision. In August 2004,
Adelaide City Council and the State Government of South Australia launched a single stage national
housing competition called The Adelaide Affordable Eco Housing Competition. The winning scheme
of this competition is designed by Troppo Architects, providing 26 apartments and a cafe as shown in
Fig. 1. This eco housing is now located on the south east corner of Whitmore Square which is just few
steps away from bus stops, eateries and markets while the free public bus service is provided within
the city.3 No doubt that the normal dwelling would integrate the basic principles of adapting human
wellbeing and aesthetic pleasure into the design but what makes ecology themed housings deserve to
be focused on are their abilities to adapt the climate while benefiting the environment with the eco
features. With the aim of reducing carbon emission in the city, the feature of installing energy efficient
facilities in the dwellings is a must for Eco housing.4 Photovoltaic panels, part of solar power system

The Role Of Books In The Book Thief
August Abt 8/10/15 Honors English 9 Summer Reading The role of books in both novels is slightly
different but both come back to a general theme that is used in both novels. In both novels the authors
use books as something that provides knowledge to a community but the government is trying to
suppress this knowledge. In The Book Thief books play a role in several different ways. Liesel steals a
book which then helps to teach her how to read and write. This makes her very interested in reading
new books. Liesel then starts to steal more books; this eventually leads her to steal a book from a pile
of burning books. These books were being burned because they were deemed, by Hitler, to not

A Musical Presentation Of The Carroll Theatre Department
Being in a musical is exciting, thrilling, nerve racking, exhausting and magical. Every year Carroll
Senior High School puts on a huge musical in the fall. We rehearse countless hours every day for
months; spending hours memorizing lines, learning choreography and harmonies. Every day I would
come home from rehearsal exhausted but excited to learn more. I counted down the days until we
would open and when my friends and family could see it after all the hard work we put in. From the
moment the cast list comes out to the moment the curtain opens we all have one goal: to put on an
amazing show to entertain our community. The Carroll Theatre department puts on a fall musical
every year through hard work and dedication to tell a story, entertain, and inspire the community. A
musical is a theatrical play that tells a story with singing, dancing and speaking. Every year my school
s theatre department puts on a different musical on a weekend in either October or November. It is the
biggest and most exciting production Carroll Theatre puts on. We audition, get cast, and rehearse for
months. We open on a Thursday night, then have a show Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night and we
have a matinee on Saturday and Sunday. The show is about two hours; it has two acts with a quick
intermission in between. It is an exciting event that our community looks forward to every year. It
takes many steps and a great deal of hard work to put on a musical. First, the directors decide on a

Photography Annette Kuhn Photography Analysis
Photography grants the power to seize a moment, a moment so precious, so intimate, so important that
we as humans are allowed to cherish and hold tight to that moment; a chance to reminisce. That
precious moment, as Annette Kuhn says, show[s] not so much that we were once there, as how we
once were (Annette Kuhn 95). The deceased are brought back to life. A childhood is relived. A
relationship is repeatedly forged. Photography imprisons time, holds it hostage chained to the walls of
our memories, giving the viewer the power to continually find the treasure inside, that one split second
in time. Photography captures the essence of a specific time and place; it grants the privilege to relive
that exact moment. A photograph captures what we

Types Of Sigma Delta Modulators
Abstract This thesis investigates several types of Sigma Delta modulators in different conditions as a
possible solution to the all digital audio and wifi signal receivers. In this research, two main
approaches are under consideration. Oversampling is a technique to design a sigma delta modulators.
Undersampling(or subsampling) is an interesting technique which allows the sigma delta modulators
to sample high frequency signals such as WIFI and GNSS signals. Time interleaving modulation is
another way to implement  modulators in high frequency domains. Acknowledgement I would like

Moral Decay Of The Great Gatsby
The inevitable failure of the American Dream and the tragic death of Jay Gatsby conveyed in F. Scott
Fitzgerald s novel The Great Gatsby exemplifies the moral decay of the 1920s. Fitzgerald is critical of
a hedonistic society consumed in materialism, he expresses this through the men and women who
dazzled like champagne and stars at Gatsby s parties, which were taken by the root in society to live
the perfect world of their own. James Gatz achieves his dream of self transformation. He acquires
wealth and status and becomes Jay Gatsby. It is Gatsby s unrealistic reach for the green light at the end
of the Buchanans dock and all that it represents his fulfilled dream. Fitzgerald structured this novel as
an allegory, the forgery of the Gatsby ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
These were points where society fails to obligate Gatsby s dream. Fitzgerald exposes the American
society and the value of Gatsby to the society. In a society that relies on luxuries, Gatsby throws
parties to attract Daisy s attention. Gatsby expresses his same needs to be keeped busy, just as Daisy
does. Nick describes Gatsby as never quite still, there was always a tapping foot somewhere or the
impatient opening and closing of a hand (Fitzgerald, pg 68). Gatsby fills his house full of interesting
people...who do interesting things (Fitzgerald, pg 96). Taking this issue into consideration, those who
filled Gatsby s house was only there to enjoy the illegal alcohols, music and party. Nevertheless,
Gatsby wasn t ever aware of who walked in or out of his house. He only focused on Daisy s
appearance. Towards the end, Gatsby build his life onto two aspects, the first being is to build
relationships to the wealthy such as Dan Cody or Meyer Wolfsheim for money and the second is two
build relationships to people who are connected to Daisy. However, Gatsby is unable to make social
connections because of his own social awkwardness, which as becomes more and more apparent, he
compensates this with his wealth and possessions. The best example of this is Gatsby s parties, in
which the guests all have an excellent time, and know of Gatsby, but know almost nothing about him,
even to the point where nobody seems to know where he even came from. Gatsby s awkwardness and
fear of real people causes him to close himself off even at his own parties, and hope that somehow the
good time people have admired him more but towards the end Gatsby dream is inevitable failure
because Gatsby wasn t known as greatness or did succeed by proving his purpose or identity to the

Marcom Tactics for Gatorade G2

The US sports drinks market is highly competitive. It accounts for the highest worldwide sports drink
consumption. A sports drink is a deviation of an energy drink which aims at rehydration, sports
performance and muscle recovery. The major players in this US market are Gatorade by PepsiCo amp;
PowerAde by Coca Cola.
Gatorade
Gatorade is accepted as the market leader of US sports drink market with nearly 75% market share as
at 2008 (Sports Business Daily, 23 July 2009). The study analyses the marketing mix of Gatorade in

* Advertising
The advertising activities of G2 are two fold, online and offline. The objective of their advertising
strategy is to increase awareness of benefits of G2 and reinforce that idea with an aim of
differentiating the products and persuading customers towards purchase.
Offline advertising
Gatorade used Float commercials, which features sportsmen and women such as NBA s Dwayne
Wade and gymnast Chellsie Memmel. The advertising repeats Mohammed Ali s Quote Float like a
butterfly and sting like a bee which supports the brand slogan in a way that floating portrays lightness
in calories and sting like a bee portrays the ability to accurately hit performance targets. By employing
high repetitions of advertisements during sports events such as Super bowl, the most watched event in
US TV, they ensure high exposure to their brand thereby increasing awareness amp; recall of G2.
Their print advertisements such as Gatorade Double Life mainly focus on sports magazines such as
Sports Illustrated, Bounce and Dime as they carry a synergy with their target audience of Athletes,
professional or non professional.
The TV advertising benefits for G2 in terms of Clout against cost as it reaches a large number of
people which reduces cost per head. But it can also be argued that clout is low with both mediums as
they cannot be personalized. However, there is

Challenger And Columbia Shuttle Disasters Essay
Portfolio Project: The Challenger and Columbia Shuttle Disasters Introduction While driving
frantically through the lush farmland of the Livermore Valley to rescue a 9 year who, along with her
classmates had just witnessed the destruction of the Challenger on live television, the question of why
was all consuming. Growing up in the sixties and witnessing the moon landing led many to believe
NASA was infallible. However, nearly twenty years before Challenger, this proved untrue, as the
dangers of space travel were tragically demonstrated when the crew of the Apollo 1 died in an onboard
fire during a test run (Howell, 2012). Following the Challenger tragedy, President Reagan (1986, para.

While root cause analysis of both sentinel events revealed mechanical and debris problems as
causative factors, the underlying problem was much worse NASA s lax safety oversight and slipshod
management. These findings uncovered what dozens, and likely lucky, successful missions had hid
from the public. The country mourned the first tragedy, but demanded change, which made the loss of
Columbia for similar reasons so stunning. Therefore, much of this paper concentrated on change
resistance, as the inability to change organizations is usually attributed to the difficulties in changing
people. Despite the distractions, leadership must push through this resistance or risk irrelevance in the
marketplace. It is for good reasons, organizations use the lessons of the Challenger and Columbia
disasters in all levels of leadership as a warning of the potential for harm when budget constraints,
tight schedules, and deadlines allow flawed reasoning and egos to undermine safety and the decision

(Anderson 1150)
Main reason of the success of this lies in the fact that it tackled the issues of local taxi industry which
were becoming unbearable by the common people. For example ordinary taxis charge on the basis of
time spend while using the taxi (by customer) while Uber charges on the basis of distance. In
populated cities it was hectic to find taxi on urgent basis, Uber tackled this issue and gave service
which is handled by a smart phone app and claims to provide taxi with in exact 10 minutes of ordering
the service. In the start prices of Uber taxi services were high due to their high quality services which
left the customer range un attended who prefer to pay less money to the taxi, but in 2012 Uber offered
a service with a name Uber X with comparatively less prices and a bit less quality service (in terms of
not providing first class taxis and a bit of delay in time), this service gained the attention of those
customers who were not in hurry while going somewhere (Brown 17). This much coverage of taxi
industry created a lot of issues in the local taxi industry where almost 80% of customers started using
Uber, because of many facilities like one can travel without cash on the spot, as all transactions are
through credit cards, safety reasons, quality service reasons, urgent service and etc.

Obesity has many different effect on several body systems. The most affected body system is the
cardiovascular system. High blood pressure or hypertension is a cardiovascular disease that many
obese patients suffer. Blood pressure is the measurement of the force of blood against arterial walls as
the heart pumps. The World Health Organization has recently reported One in three adults worldwide,
according to the report, has raised blood pressure a condition that causes around half of all deaths
from stroke and heart disease. ( New data highlight increases in hypertension, diabetes incidence ,
2012) Additionally, Dr. Aram Chobanian, a professor at Boston University has noted About 40 percent
of those who are obese have high blood pressure (Chobanian, 2008) Hypertension can increase the
risk of heart disease which is the leading cause of death in the United States.
Obesity also increases the risk for Type 2 Diabetes. Type 2 diabetes occurs when the pancreas is not
making enough insulin or the body is not adequately using insulin as it should. When insulin is not
used the body appropriately, glucose cannot get to cells and may not function properly.
Obesity also has significant effect on the musculoskeletal system. As with other body systems, obesity

Political Participation Of Women Essay
Country: Germany Committee: UN Women Topic: Encouraging Political Participation by Women
School: Williamston High School Delegate: Lia Bommarito Throughout history, women were not seen
as equal to men. Even in 2017, marginalization and oppression still persists in many regions and
states. Because of a long history of sexism and institutionalized that dates back to the first functional
societies, women are discouraged from participating in society politically. Oftentimes the political
participation of a group can be measured by active voting, as well as how many parliament seats are
held by women in each country; as of June 2016, only 22.8 percent of parlimentarians were women, a
slow increase from the measured 11.3 percent in 1995, and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

As for parliament participation, Germany is higher than the world average with a 39.1 percent
participation; but still only ranks number 22 in the world for female parliament percentages. Despite
Merkel s leadership, German sexism in politics still exists; despite the Chancellor being a woman, not
many lower or mid level governmental positions are held by women. Alice Schwarzer, the country s
best known feminist, lends her quote to this issue: Since 2005, little girls can decide: Do I become a
hairdresser or chancellor? While the state of gendered politics and participation may outwardly seem
fantastic, Germany still struggles with uplifting women; the climate for German women in politics is
icy, but warmer than most nations. Germany does not have to deal with fundamental problems, such as
removing all de facto restrictions on women s suffrage, or dealing with assault on women for seeking
education or leadership politically. However, Germany attempts to manage the onslaught of hidden
problems such as a wage gap higher than the European average, lack of political representation in
parliament, and feminist being percieved with a negative connotation. Whether or not Germany must
handle fundamental issues, the international community has many nations still living in the midst of
misogyny. There is no nation that still does not allow women to vote; however,

David Hume s Definition Of Free Will
What is free will? The general concept of free will is the ability to make choices of your own without
anyone or anything impeding them which, consequently, makes you morally responsible. Free will,
however, is non existent. This is explained with the theory of determinism and solidified via hard
determinism. Our actions and behavior can be traced to our desires and beliefs which are directly
caused by our genetics and environment. There are many stances and arguments against this idea but
ultimately do not dissuade against it. There are many beliefs as to what free will is, and many have
tried to establish its meaning. David Hume believes it is the ability to act on your beliefs and desires
and as your beliefs and desires change, so does your behavior. The problem with Hume s definition is
that those with compulsory disorders and addictions have free will according to that definition. Harry
Frankfurt believes that if first and second order desires are in agreement then you have free will. The
problem with Frankfurt s definition is that the addicts that do not have a conflicting order of desires
have free will according to the definition and those who are weak willed do not have free will. The
general explanation of free will discussed in the introduction is what will be used, seeing that the ones
explained have their obvious ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
To think that it is free will and nothing else, is ignorance. Human life throughout history is known for
adaptation, to create solutions to problems created by the harshness of its environment so it can
prevail. Self reflection is one such tool of adaptation. Within this mode of thought the mind
reevaluates its environment, possible outcomes, benefits, and, depending on the capacity of the
individual, makes the necessary changes to its mindset to maintain an orderly life. This is not a case of

legality of our laws, and how lives are effected by them: therefore we need to have active and
healthier judges that have some experience and know what they are doing. There are many reasons
why term limits should be put into action. In our Supreme Court most judges are aged or in their late
prime, due to the fact that we don t have a limit on how long a person can run as a judge. Judges in
their prime have a higher and faster thinking rate while their young for example, people are in much
sharper shape mental in their 40s,50s,60s, than 70s,80s,90s (Christopher Ingraham Febuary,13,2016).

The duties and roles that have to be carried out by a resource developer are explained by the figure
above. Individual needs of every student have to be identified and plans have to be developed in order
to satisfy the learning needs of all learners. The next step is to design the resources according to the
individual needs that are identified and deliver those resources to the learners. Once the task in
completed by the learners the resource developer then can assess their performance which will
automatically enable the resource developed to identify the effectiveness of his resources. According
to the information given by Turkish online journal of education technology (2009), two student groups
are surveyed where one group of students provided with the lower level of teaching resources while
second group of students are provided with the higher level of teaching resources. The surveys
identified that the students who are provided with higher level of teaching resources have got much
more positive outcome comparing to the other group of students. We have found that when
technologies are thoughtfully integrated with a sound pedagogical vision, students views of teaching
and approaches to learning can be positively affected. The LeTUS report series (2003) also shows how

Fast And The Furious Tokyo Drift Movie
Learning How to Drift
So you ve been wanting to learn how to drift ever since you saw the Fast and the Furious Tokyo Drift
movie. Drifting seems so cool right? For those who have no idea what drifting is all about, it is a
driving method that lets you steer around corners in a fun, exciting, and challenging way.
Some street racers and drag racers switch to drifting when they start to get bored. Drifting allows you
to slide around the corners using two techniques: clutch based and brake based.
Drifting Techniques
Clutch based
1. Clutch kick drift Grip the clutch, escalate the rpm and downshift. Then release the clutch to allow
the back wheels to lose its traction.
2. Shift lock drift Downshift the gear, lower down the rpm and release the clutch. This causes the back

Feint drift Steer the car outwards to move the weight to the outer wheels. Then quickly steer back and
once the suspension kicks back, the weight shifts creating a drift.
3. Swaying drift It is similar to a feint drift but starts with a long approach to a turn. Maintain the drift
by steering side to side.
4. Jump drift Steer the rear tire to shift the weight to the outer wheels. This will reduce the traction to
generate a drift.
5. Dynamic drift Turn at a fast speed and release the gas. This will shift the weight to the front wheels
and lessen the traction to create a drift.
6. E brake drift Turn the corner and pull the emergency brake to lock the rear wheels. Steer to produce
a drift.
7. Power over drift Accelerate into the turn to make the back wheels drift. You need a lot of
horsepower to do this.
8. Long slide drift Approach a turn with a long straightway with high speed. Pull the emergency brake
to start the drift.
Remember, getting the right method of braking requires much practice. Over breaking can lead to over
steering which may cause your vehicle to spin uncontrollably. On the other hand, lack of braking will
cause you to understeer. This isn t safe

The Controversy Of Book Burning
The Qur an is a religious Islamic book said to be the word of God by Muslims. As the editor in chief
of the newspaper there are many reasons as to why this student s letter should have not been published
in the newspaper. Some reasons why are because the book burning goes against part of the first
amendment freedom to exercise religion . The second would be that it could intentionally give offence
to anyone who practices this religion, it is also tempting others to sin who don t either understand what
is going on or someone who just wants to be a part of the crowd. Lastly this could cause
endangerment to other lives by reckless behavior of people who turn the book burning into bigger
problems.
By publishing this letter in the newspaper it ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
There is a strong likelihood that many people could get hurt if this book burning turns into rioting or
something of that demeanor. Rioting is more common around the world these days, which as most
people have seen it gets rapidly out of hand and cause people to lose their lives, even businesses are
lost. If people who believe in this religion feel threatened or angry due to this public book burning
things could turn bad very quickly. Even people who don t practice the religion but still don t agree
with the whole situation could become angry and the situation itself could escalate quickly into
something life threatening.
As editor in chief of the newspaper I do not believe the letter should have been published due to the
consequences that could arise from this letter. Due to it going against the first amendment,
intentionally offend someone and their religion, tempt others to transgress, and it could endanger lives
by reckless behavior, this letter could cause more harm and damage than it would be worth to hold a
public book burning as a way to express sympathy for the anniversary of the World Trade Center and

An Owner s Manual For My Trek Bicycle
Technical documents in most cases are really important, mainly because it helps explain the needs and
procedures of a product/research. Technical documents can include anywhere from an owner s
manual, to a journal article, to blogs in which case, I m choosing an owner s manual for my TREK
bicycle. One of the nicest features of this manual that distinguishes it from many other owner s
manual is the fact that it provides not only a hardcopy of the manual but also a compact disc (CD). On
the CD, the customer has the ability to get a translated version of the manual. When I bought the bike,
TREK authorized dealer, provided me with a physical copy which was solidly in English which is not
a problem for me but customers in other regions of the United States or other parts of the world may
need a translated manual in order to understand it. With the CD, English as second language
customers have the same ability as I do to understand the manual rather than having to go to
translators or translating websites. So TREK does not really have a specific range of customers they
are targeting but if you speak other languages than those on the website would be problem but they
still have the ability to link the manual on the CD to the company website in order to check for other
languages TREK may have translated into. After reading majority of the manual, I can conclude that
the manual basically meets all the requirement of the excellence in technical documents. The manual

How Did The Pendulum Clocks Make The World
The invention of the pendulum clock played a pivotal role in making the world a more global society.
Prior to its invention in 1656, mechanical clocks were extremely inaccurate, making many scientific
experiments impossible due to the lack of a consistent way to measure time. Travelers who needed to
determine their longitude and latitude, such as explorers of the new world, needed an accurate way to
determine time. Watchmaking was considered the pinnacle of technological achievement with only
master clockmakers able to produce accurate ones, fostering a global trade of their craft. Specifically
in American history The Waterbury Clock Company, today known as Timex, became a major export
for the country in the 19th century. Pendulum clocks remained the world standard for accurate
timekeeping for 270 years, until the invention of the quartz clock in 1927.

Which then drove the invention of the anchor escapement around 1670. In addition to increased
accuracy, The long narrow clocks built around these pendulums, later known as grandfather clocks,
were first made by William Clement around 1680, The increased accuracy from these developments
resulted in the implementation of the minute hand, previously rare, to be added to clock faces
beginning around 1690. The 18th and 19th century brought many other improvements. Observation
that pendulum clocks slowed down in summer brought the realization that thermal expansion and
contraction of the pendulum rod with changes in temperature was a source of error. This was solved
by the invention of temperature compensated pendulums; the mercury pendulum by George Graham
in 1721 and the gridiron pendulum by John Harrison in 1726. With these improvements, by the mid
18th century precision pendulum clocks achieved accuracies of a few seconds per week. (A

Gender Imbalance In Fast Food Advertising
When you see a fast food commercial or watch most fast food advertisements, I bet you don t notice
the problems behind the main content of the commercials. You just see either beautiful women, half
naked, playing with their food, entertaining a man. or eating something that indicates that she s
healthy. Or you might also see a man happily enjoying a steak or any meat of any kind while being
macho with his boys. Another thing you might see is a man taking the lead in the commercial and
having a woman as his silent, sexy partner who in some way contributes to selling a product. The
problems that you failed you see are the oversexualization, animalization, and objectification of
women. Most of the fast food commercials that we see in our daily lives are usually presenting bad
images and representation of women. Though, it is argued that fast food commercials are more aware
of these issues that they present; I believe there is a gender imbalance in fast food advertisements. To
begin, men being superior to women in fast food advertisements have always been around since the
invention of fast food. As time comes along, advertisers have tried to make these issues less obvious.

Government Conspiracy Theory
Government or Controlled Demolition The September 11 attacks were a series of four coordinated
terrorist attacks by the Islamic terrorist group al Qaeda in the United States on the morning of
Tuesday, September 11, 2001. They attacked the Twin Towers in New York City. There are different
conspiracy theories with the 9/11 attack but the most important conspiracy theory is that the collapse
of the twin towers were the result of controlled demolition by the government rather than structural
failure due to impact and fire. Now the question remains, was it controlled demolition or was it
terrorist attacking the World Trade Center on purpose? This conspiracy theory revolves around
authorities knowing about the attackers and also guiding them to complete their terror attack. None of
the deaths would have happened without the deliberate unplugging of Americas air defense. The twin
tower did not fall of plane impacts or fire. People claim that jet fuel doesn t melt steel beams. It was a

times. Black Elk always had the visions of the people dancing and the Grandfathers that were

today is a good day to live .
The Black Elk realized in having the power to cure people as few other spiritual leaders could. Black
Elk, being a little afraid, always influenced his friends into fighting believing and thinking always

College started to be the direction many students take after high school. During junior year, all the
teachers start telling their student to consider college and the major that they want to pursue.

to think if they are ready for college. Also, they start thinking about the major they want to enroll in if
they decide to apply for college. More questions come in mind such as, would college be suitable for
everyone? And is college worth the money the students would have to spend on tuition every semester
until they graduate? From Leonhardt perspective, college is worth even with the debt it comes with.
According to Matthews s argument, college degree is needed because it is becoming more valuable

students finish college and start working they pay their debt easily. Leonhardt mentioned Americans
with four years college degrees made 98 percent more an hour on average in 2013 than people without
a degree. This statistic shows that when students start working they can pay their debt in a wisely time
depending on their major.

They add value to the organization by creating trust and mutual respect. Leaders with good people skills communicate effectively, listen to their employees, understand their employees, and their employees trust them. The leader s performance was severely affected from lack of people skills. Communication, emotional IQ, and personality were all areas that the leader needed to improve upon. Communication was identified multiple times in the peer review and evaluation as a deficiency. The leader s lack of communication directly led to a loss of productivity in the department. Furthermore, employees felt that they were not being listening to, leading to a loss of moral and trust. Also, the leader was completely oblivious to the emotions within the department. If the leader would have taken the time to perceive and understand the employees emotions, they would have been able to identify the issues within the department and take corrective measures. Also, things would have never gotten this out of hand if the leader had a better personality. Many of the employees felt the leader was unapproachable and acted better than they were, causing employees to stop following the leader. He stated that the dogs in Andersonville were very harmful and had wounded, or had even killed, some of the Union soldiers. He also said that Wirz watched and cheered as the dogs were attacking the soldiers saying, get those Yankee bastards! Why should this be Wirz s fault? Why? Perhaps Davidson himself was not so close to the dog attack, because he himself was not attacked; therefore, he cannot prove that it is Wirz s fault for the dogs. The man that was dragged into the camp could have, indeed, survived. No one, I repeat no one, has proof that that man had been killed. Lastly, many of the men had wounds on their bodies; but, why are the dogs to blame? Those wounds and scratches could have been caused by something else other than those dogs. • 25. David Hume s Definition Of Free Will What is free will? The general concept of free will is the ability to make choices of your own without anyone or anything impeding them which, consequently, makes you morally responsible. Free will, however, is non existent. This is explained with the theory of determinism and solidified via hard determinism. Our actions and behavior can be traced to our desires and beliefs which are directly caused by our genetics and environment. There are many stances and arguments against this idea but ultimately do not dissuade against it. There are many beliefs as to what free will is, and many have tried to establish its meaning. David Hume believes it is the ability to act on your beliefs and desires and as your beliefs and desires change, so does your behavior. The problem with Hume s definition is that those with compulsory disorders and addictions have free will according to that definition. Harry Frankfurt believes that if first and second order desires are in agreement then you have free will. The problem with Frankfurt s definition is that the addicts that do not have a conflicting order of desires have free will according to the definition and those who are weak willed do not have free will. The Supreme Court is a very important part to our U.S government. The court decides the legality of our laws, and how lives are effected by them: therefore we need to have active and healthier judges that have some experience and know what they are doing. There are many reasons why term limits should be put into action. • 34. How Did The Pendulum Clocks Make The World The invention of the pendulum clock played a pivotal role in making the world a more global society. Prior to its invention in 1656, mechanical clocks were extremely inaccurate, making many scientific experiments impossible due to the lack of a consistent way to measure time. Travelers who needed to determine their longitude and latitude, such as explorers of the new world, needed an accurate way to determine time. Watchmaking was considered the pinnacle of technological achievement with only master clockmakers able to produce accurate ones, fostering a global trade of their craft. Specifically in American history The Waterbury Clock Company, today known as Timex, became a major export for the country in the 19th century.
