story in our Text inspires us to reflect about the need of humanity to be healed and to heal. It carries
the good news for every aspect of our life for different occasions, different contexts and different
times. It is not enough that the hemorrhaging woman should be healed; she needs to be truly
integrated back into the society. It is not enough to give life alone but to help to sustain the life. It
bestows a very strong need of God s healing touch to each individual s belief, attitudes and values to
transform and reshape one s faith and idea about following Jesus in order to become a healing
presence in the life of others. It also can make an immense change in the Church. And all the more in
