Essay My Personal Culture
Culture defines people s values, beliefs, and personal interests. Culture is important because it allows
people to maintain a unique identity society. Many cultures have common interests, while others may
have customs that differ greatly from that of another. Technology has had a huge impact on present
day cultures. Many culture have been altered including my own, and some have been created due to
the rise of technology. Cultures differ so greatly that someone belonging to one culture may not agree
with the values of another, which then causes social and ethical issues. My culture shares many
similarities with others around the world; most of which have connected more people in recent years
than ever before. Cultural gaps, and lack of ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In the past, things were primarily about skin color, and issues regarding people of a particular skin
color were handled by such, and not ethnicity. Black people were black people, whites were whites,
and so on. The point is that by distinguishing myself from a general role, I am able to have my own
identity, and I can make choices for my best interest, and not for the majority.
In spite of their differences, both African and African American culture have been able to connect in
certain ways in recent years, as well as other cultures. Technology, specifically social media has
allowed my generation to connect with one another even with our cultural differences. There is a
chemistry that exists within my generation that my parent s generation never could have imagined was
possible. The International Association of Business Communicators says At its core, social media are
about sharing information across boundaries. We can now find out what we want from whomever we
want. Social media is breaking down hierarchical, regional, age and cultural boundaries (IABC).
Things have changed socially, through digital means, and it s a big part of what makes me and my
generation unique. Today, people in the United States can interact and communicate with people from
anywhere around the world. I listened to some weird electronic music from France one night and it is
amazing that I can do that. The internet has

Resilience Research Paper
In this huge world everyone is unique. These unique individuals go through many mental stress,
trauma and bad experiences in life. Due to this some of them are not affected but many are affected by
psychological, mental or physical illness. So what would be explanation for this happening? By
resiliency we can explain this phenomenon in better way. In real life doctors are also promoting this
concept to examine this in every effected individual. In this article, I review theoretical and by
experimental studies by comparing no difficulty or high difficulty with people experience difficulty
built resilience. That may increase the power of facing difficulties and stress in future.

Literature Review:
Resilience is a positive wave in terms of adversity, rather than to positive adaptation in general, It
surfaces in the face of hardship (Hawley, 2000, p 102) and also ability of an individual to come back
from hardship. Without struggle, resilience does not exist by Hawley.
To understand the resilience we need to understand the concept of stress. Stress is somewhat
subjective both in the measurement of severity and experience; the way in which individuals perceive
and interpret stressors may vary greatly (Bowes Jaffee, 2013). In this articles we found that stress is
the reason by which resilience occur.

Tips on how successful people organized thier closet
Organizing our closet is a standout amongst the most effective action we can do to enhance our image
and our way of life! Organizing our closet does no good if you don t make it usable.
Going with a standard thought on how a wardrobe or closet function can leave you wishing that you
had accomplished something different. Certainly, it may look impressive at to begin. However, it will
gradually return to the way that it was if you don t customize the store and make it a closet that meets

astute to keep our closet free of these potential hazards.

Stability Operations Essay
Stability operations are an important function of the military arm of national power after a period of
conflict. Stability operations by definition assist in supporting the host nation government by
establishing civil security, civil control, supporting the host nation government (HN), restoring
essential services, and assisting in infrastructure and economic improvements. In order for stability
operations to be effective, there must be a complete and thorough analysis of the lines of effort (LOE),
identification of risks and mitigation techniques with the intention of advance the desired end state.
The LOE Establish Civil Security advances the desired end state of creating a Safe and Secure

D.J. and I may be alike but we are two different people. A character that I am similar to is D.J. off of
the television show Full House . She is my favorite character on Full House because she is relatable.
First, D.J. and I have several similarities that we share with each other. Second, we both can be very
kind and caring. Last, we are both teenagers that have a million problems. As can be seen, I have
many similarities to D.J.
First of all, D.J. is a character that I am very similar to. She is on a television show called Full House .
She lives with her dad, Danny, her uncles, Joey and Jessie, and her sisters, Michelle and Stephanie.

Baccalaureate Nurse
Some people think a nurse is a doctor s assistant or even someone who gives injections. However,
healthcare system has been changing over the last few decades, which has caused nurses roles to
change and expand. The needs of patient care require a holistic approach, therefore challenging and
requiring the profession to have a broad nature of discipline. In order to offer that specialized service
to society, the nurse is required to obtain a bachelor s degree and keep learning throughout his or her
career. For that reason, this paper will discuss three major roles of baccalaureate nurse as defined by
the American Association of Colleges of Nursing.

(AACN, 2008) When talking about representing a profession, nurses are wearing a professional
image. That professional image brings individuals who are sick and unable to act as they might, to rely
on those professionals to act on their behalf. Nurses need to exhibit their confidence and integrity as
expected by the patients they care for. It is the nurse s responsibility to support patient s decisions,
protect their rights and stand up for their best interests. As highly skilled advocates, nurses require
strong critical reasoning and judgment, communication skills and ethical knowledge. Therefore,
nurses are committed to lifelong learning.
Nursing professionals help individuals, families, and communities to attain, maintain, or recover
optimal health and quality of life. The needs of patient care have evolved together with the healthcare
system for a few decades, setting higher standards and delegating more roles for nursing professionals.
Nurses, especially those with a bachelor s degree, should always maintain continued education and
teach other healthcare professionals as well. This is to equip them with the tools required to deliver a

Battle Of Elah Research Paper
The Valley of Elah is best known for the being the site of a famous biblical battle between David and
Goliath. Elah comes from the word terebinth, a type of tree that is commonly found in the area. The
valley is located on the western edge of the Judah low hills. This valley served as a gateway from the
coast cities into the major cities of Jerusalem, Hebron, and Bethlehem. We will be visiting the Valley
of Elah on May 23rd, day five of our trip. The Valley of Elah is going to be one of the many biblical
sites that we will visit that will give us the chance to watch the Bible come to life right before our
eyes.
The Battle of David and Goliath, which happened around 1010 BC, took place right in the Valley of
Elah. The battle was between David, a small shepherd boy who represented the Israelites and Goliath,
a heavily armed giant who stood for the Philistines. The valley sits between Mount Shocho and Mount
Azekah. The Israelites were camped on the north side, while the Philistines were on the south . ...

Implementing A Job Rotation Program Within An Organization...
Zachary Golden
Final Paper Outline
Abstract The focus of this study is the benefits gained by implementing a job rotation program within
an organization and the advantages gained by the employees and employer. There are four key areas
that can be affect by job rotation:orienting new employees, training employees, enhancing career
development and preventing job boredom. In this study, I propose that incorporating a well planned
job rotation schedule not only improves the productivity of an organization, but also increases the
overall job satisfaction of employees.
Organizational Description Job rotation is an approach to employee development, where a person is
developed through a scheduled rotation through tasks in order give the widest exposure to the entire
operation. It is also practiced, so that qualified employees are provided more insight into a company s
processes, and to reduce employee burnout and increase job satisfaction through varying work to
provide new challenges. At the most senior levels, job rotation or management rotation, is closely
linked with developing specific people to step into an existing job. In this situation the goal is to
provide learning experiences and position prospective managers in area that allow them assume a
higher level position in the future. While this practice is important to the growth of management in a
business, this study will focus primarily on the rotation of junior management and workers. Job
rotation involves the

Emission Standards of the Diesel Engine
Diesel engines began to be used in automobiles in the 1930s. They are used in many trucks, ships,
buses and small passenger cars in Europe right now.[1] Many believe that diesel engine are heavier,
noisier and generate black smock when running. However, diesel engine s unique advantages can
make them the engine of the future for vehicles. And with much more stringent standard to take effect
in the future, diesel engine s emissions and control technologies are still very much in the forefront.
This paper will cover the developments in diesel vehicles emission regulation and control technology
for NOx, particulate matter (PM) for diesel vehicles.
Regulation
Right now there are two kinds of emission standard in US. One of them is federal standards
established by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and another is California standards.
Since the State of California are facing more severe air pollutant problem than most of other state,
they choose to adopt its own emission regulations. The California Air Resources Board (ARB)
establish engine and vehicle emission regulations that are often more stringent than the federal rules.
Other states can make their own decision to either implement the federal emission standards or to use
California requirements.
After the Clean Air Act Amendments (CAAA) on 1990, two sets of standards have been defined for
light duty vehicles. Tier I standard was published in 1991 and was phased in between 1994 and 1997.
Tier II standard was

2 Problems and Possible Solutions with Pronunciation.
Morphemes that have more than one pronunciation present a problem relating to the sound of words.

syllable timed, whereas, English rhythm is stressed timed. (Spanish also has a narrower pitch range
than English). Both problems can be directly related to language interference. Solutions include
instant and planned remedial. The best procedure in addressing these problems is to draw attention to
the problematic sound or pattern. Get them to pronounce it in isolation and explain how the pattern or
sound is formed, and drill the student ensuring they have a record.

Speaking: The student is very comfortable speaking on a one to one basis and has no qualms about

Analysis Of Dundee Fc And Dundee s Impact On Implications...
Dissertation Rationale
Why this particular Project?
The topic I have chosen for my dissertation is Dundee Fc and Dundee Hibernian The Impact and
implications of World war one.
I intend to look at the Primary impact of the war if there were men that fought and look at if they were
impacted by specific events during the war. Looking at similarities of between other football clubs
such as the Hearts of Midlothian or McCrays battalion . I have chosen this topic because it is a subject
that I have a major interest in. Also it is a topic that I feel is relatively untouched. I believe that as a
fourth year student in History I now need to contribute to my field. This topic is also i feel important
to me as i am from Dundee and also support Dundee FC. Furthermore I feel that football is a
important as it could be used as a propaganda tool during the war (Football grounds were seen as a
good place to get men to enlist.) By looking at the effects on two specific clubs and the effect on the
city I am hoping this topic will tie in with previous work I have done concerning the jute industry in
Dundee during the Great War and how it helped aid it s decline.
Definition of Objectives My objectives for this dissertation are to contribute to my field by improving
the knowledge and awareness of the history of Dundee FC and Dundee Hibernian focused on the First
World War. By looking at the direct effects of the conflict for example, men who fought for their
country and if they were

Heroes In Shakespeare s Romeo And Juliet
When you think of heroes and villians you think comics. You think Batman and the Joker, Thor and

Importance Of Small Business
This is great information, what caught my attention was the fact that small business gives equal
opportunity to women and minorities. That is an important factor and that is also one thing that I feel
is key in why small businesses are so important. Upon doing research I learned that small businesses
paid almost fifty percent of the U.S. payroll and this payroll was towards individuals who may not
have been qualified for jobs at larger corporation. The US economy is made up of various types of
people from different walks of life and I feel it is important that all individuals should have an
opportunity for employment so that we can provide for our families and small business help this
become possible.
Small businesses are important to the U.S economy for multiple reasons. According to the U.S Small
Business Administration, small businesses represents for 99.7 percent of all employer firms, have
generated sixty four percent of new jobs and paid forty four percent of the total united states payroll
(Brown, 2017) . Small business is an important role not just in the US economy, but they also play a
major role in the growth of the individual community that they are located in. Small businesses give
citizens of the community an opportunity for employment by offering jobs that the individuals may
not have to have degrees or accolades to qualify for unlike jobs in larger corporations. Although small
business is very important to the economy and the community, often times small

Business Ethics Essay
Business ethics are a moral code that people conducting any sort of business should feel honorably
obligated to follow. People are definitely morally responsible to follow a code of ethics and should
never cheat each other. Parts of this code of ethics should be honesty, integrity, fidelity, charity,
responsibility, and self discipline. Those ethics should apply both to a person buying something, and a
person selling something. I don t believe that a person should be forced to follow the caveat emptor
policy, on the basis that it is unfair and unjust both to the buyer and seller. If you are an ethical person,
you should not have to warn people to beware. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
For example, they used to coerce women into liking specific cars, so the husband would have to feel
forced to buy the car to impress their girlfriends/wives. Another example is how the car dealer used to
put lousy parts into the cars and sell them, knowing that the car would break down 5 miles down the
road. He took advantage of the people s necessity to get out of Oklahoma for his own personal gain.
Also, the buyer has a certain responsibility too. They need to make sure to not completely trust the
seller, because not everyone is ethical. They should examine the goods carefully, ask educated
questions, and read up on the topic before going ahead and buying something. For example, in The
Grapes of Wrath, the car dealer was able to take more advantage of the people because he can see the
raw need on their faces, and how they didn t really ask anything to make him give them a better deal.
Therefore, the people didn t do their part of being ethical buyers to get the best and most honest deal.
The advertiser also has a big responsibility too, to be honest in the ads. For example, in The Grapes of
Wrath, the car dealership advertised a nice car at a very cheap price, but they never sold that car. They
lied to the people who wanted to buy that car, saying that it had just been sold. They took advantage of

Privacy And Confidentiality In Health Care
Ethical problem paper Privacy and Confidentiality Introduction The question of privacy and
confidentiality as it relates to electronic health records (EHR) requires serious attention. In spite of the
potential advantage of EHR in the way patient information is stored, communicated and processed by
the parties involved in healthcare delivery, there is widespread concern that patient privacy may be
compromised during the delivery. Healthcare is changing and so are the tools used to coordinate better
care for patients (Rodriguez. 2011). In order for electronic health records to achieve their desired
goals, protection of patient privacy is paramount. Lack of patients trust in privacy and confidentiality
can lead to reluctance in disclosing their pertinent medical information. Nurses have the ethical

A Reflection On My Experience With Grief And Bereavement...
On April 6, 2016, I shadowed Megan in 7C and PICU, which was an eventful day full of thought
provoking and noteworthy patient interactions and child life centered conversations. This was my
second time in 7C/PICU but my first time shadowing Megan. It was intriguing to see how two
different CCLS s handled the same units. Through my shadowing experience and observations, I
gained knowledge of how to handle grief/bereavement situations, how to properly prioritize patients,
charting techniques, and much more. This week I was able to reflect back to my knowledge of
development so that I could better relate our coursework to my practicum experiences. In this journal,
I will focus on two main patient interactions, both, which were unique, thought provoking, and
relatable to developmental theory and coursework. I will also briefly discuss the knowledge I gained
on how a CCLS can provide support during grief and bereavement situations.
The first interaction I observed/participated in was with an 8 year old male in the PICU who was
coping with injuries from a major automobile accident and lice. Megan and I entered the room where
the patient was playing with a remote control car. His nurse had created a racetrack out of toys and
items in his hospital room. It was refreshing to see a nurse who valued play enough to take the time to
create a playful environment for her patient. Megan swiftly built rapport, explained her role, and
offered normative play opportunities. The patient was

Canadian Pizza
In the 21st century, businesses have been exposed to a new kind of business practice model called e
commerce. E commerce is the technique of carrying out the business operations through the internet.
This not only expands the customer base for the business, but also ensures that products and services
are delivered in a more organized manner. For the purpose of expanding the operations and to better
cater to the needs of the individual customer, Canadian Pizza has also initiated its own e commerce
platform by creating their website called www.canadian pizza.com.
By accepting orders online, Canadian Pizza will be able to maintain more accurate information
regarding the customers. This may also form part of an integrated Enterprise Resource ... Show more

Although the website provides all the basic information as you would expect in a normal e commerce
website. It does not allow the customer to place an order online. If the customer is able to place an
order online, then it may help increase the sales for Canadian pizza. Delivery services currently
accounts for around 80 percent of the total revenue made by the company, but it represents a mere 7%
to 8% of the total market share. Therefore, they do have significant scope of market share expansion,
which may translate into greater sales and greater profit for the company. Therefore if the company
merely adds the option to place orders and checkout online, then it may significantly help increase
their market share. Customers can easily sieve through their product list and then place and order
online. This will be quicker and easier to process both for the customers as well as the company.

A Better Safer Alternative Treatment
The word cancer strikes fear into the hearts of many people and their loved ones. Millions of people
are diagnosed every year and they put their full trust into their doctors to make the best decisions and
offer the most effective treatment. However people tend to be more frightened of the treatment itself
because traditional cancer therapies produce scary symptoms such as vomiting, pain, and hair loss.
The treatments leave patients feeling extremely weak and fatigued. Most patients believe that these
drug treatments are the best and only option to cure them. There is a better safer alternative treatment
that the FDA might be hiding from the public. This alternative treatment is called amygdalin although
it is also known under the term the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In this way the cancer is killed. The cyanide is only released when it comes into contact with a cancer
cell making it safe to the human body. On the opposing side people claim that the cyanide in
amygdalin is dangerous and unsuccessful in treating and curing cancer. However the amount in the
seeds is so small that it would not produce any harm and the fact that it is enclosed makes it safe. The
medical drug treatments are far more dangerous and have the ability to kill a person in certain doses.
According to the PLOS ONE medical journal article Amygdalin Blocks Bladder Cancer cell Growth
In Vitro by Diminishing Cyclin A and cdk2 even though people opposed to amygdalin claim that the
cyanide content in the seed is not effective, unsafe, and toxic none of these claims have been not been
observed in any of the treated patients. (page 1 paragraph 4.) According to their study amygdalin
caused a complete cure in 40.5% of people and relieved symptoms in 22.9% of people, from the 368
people treated. This means that a large number of people were cured something a medical treatment
cannot do. Medical drugs only put people into a cancer free state called remission. This remission
period can last 5 years or 10 years before the disease returns. Thus it is a band aid fix to the problem.
And to make matters worse chemotherapy drugs and radiation only provide relief in late stages of
cancer and do not provide prolonged life in most cases. Amygdalin found in natural seeds is

Desecration Of The United States Flag
It should be considered safer to allow a few protestors to burn or disrespect the flag, than to allow the
government to repress our birth rights by banning desecration of the flag. Deemed offensive by many
citizens, and a form of symbolic speech by others, the constitutionality of flag desecration has been in
question since the late 1800s. Desecration of the United States flag is constitutional, as a form of
symbolic speech and protected under the First Amendment, even though many citizens do find it
offensive. The flag has been a symbol for the United States for decades. On June 14, 1777 the first
flag was officially commissioned by the Continental Congress (U.S. Flag, 2005, para. 3). The flag is a
trademark for the freedoms embraced by the citizens of the United States, and is a beacon of hope for
those fighting to keep those freedoms. The flag is greatly respected by the citizens of the United
States. There are multitudinous people who use the flag as a form of protest in ways such as ripping it,
burning it, or trampling on it. These acts are forms of desecration of the flag. Desecration is the use of
something considered sacred in a profane way. Every American is entitled to an opinion and has the
freedom the express these opinions. The flag is a symbol of freedoms, stated and protected in the
Constitution of the United States. The Constitution is the backbone of our country. First written in
1787, and since then, the Constitution has been amended twenty seven times

Life Revealed In Teenage Wasteland By Anne Tyler
Modern day parenting is far from easy, today s parents face many obstacles and sometimes can be way
too hard on the child. Parents work to protect the children and help them succeed in life whether that
is at work or at school. The endless worrisome thoughts about one s child can cause the parents to
crack down on the child which ultimately pushes them away. Teenagers are known to be distant and
stuck in a different world most of the time due to hormone changes, and outside influences such as
friends. Parents struggle to hold a relationship with teenage children because the teen tends to want to
be alone more and sees the parent as over protective . In the short story, Teenage wasteland , the

Essay on Comparision Of Plasma And LCD Screens
What is a plasma monitor? A plasma monitor is a display device that uses gas plasma technology.
How do plasma monitors produce images? Basically a plasma monitor is a layer of gas between two
gas plates. It works when voltage is applied, thus making the gas release an ultraviolet light, causing
pictures and images you see on the plasma screen when you are watching TV. Plasma monitors are flat
screen, thin, and lightweight which allows it to be hung from a wall. It also has a good contrast of
colors causing images to be more vivid and colorful. The plasma screens also have good viewing
angles meaning that from any angle in which one sits, images remain fairly solid. This type of monitor

Plasmas were more expensive than LCD monitors but due to the fact that it uses more energy, LCD
monitors have become popular which results in a rise of price. Nowadays both plasma and LCD
screens are very similar in prices. Plasma screens are often compared to LCD screens since both are
flat screen and have a thin profile. But there are much more differences between the two. First of all,
plasma screens use plasma technology (as implied in its name) while LCD screens use liquid crystal
technology. LCDs are more energy efficient and are lighter than similar sized plasmas. LCD may also
have a longer lifespan and a better resolution while plasmas have better contrast of colors, better
picture quality, and better viewing angles. But due to today s advanced technology, LCD and plasma
screens are highly similar. So similar that these differences no longer can be that noticeable. In order
to recommend between which of the two types of screens to purchase, it would depend first on what
the buyer is looking for. If the buyer is looking for a big screen television ranged from fifty inches or
larger, plasma screen would be better because it has more of a reasonable price for its size and it has a
better picture quality for bigger screens. If the buyer is looking for a smaller television screen ranged
from fifteen inches to forty two inches, LCD screen would be better since its more lightweight,
slimmer, and has a good resolution for its size. Plasma monitors

There is no father figure for Billy to look up to, so maybe that is where he has his rebellious naive
attitude. To add to it all his mother is more interested in going out, than looking after her son, and also
her other son Jud, he doesn t look after Billy at all. An example of Billy s rebellious side is on page 19.
Billy get up to that shop and do as you re telled. He shook is head. His mother stepped forward, but he
backed off, keeping the same distance between them. Billy was already late for school, yet his mother
wanted him to go up to the shop and buy her cigarettes, this shows she is more concerned with herself
than Billy, and his life and school. Another example of her not caring and showing affection was when
Billy was reading his book and she asks about it, and when he is half way through explaining she
realises she is late and runs out to go to the pub, leaving Billy to fend for himself. A kestrel hawk,
what do you think it is?
I say what time is it?
She then runs out and leaves him to fend for himself.
Further more, when Billy needs his mum the most and actually goes to hug his mother when he is in
tears, she rejects him, shaking him off her and telling him to grow, this shows a lack of maternal
qualities once again, and even shows she is embarrassed to be a

down is because they are unhappy with themselves.
Why do people have to afflict others? I think they do these harsh actions in order to feel better about

Imperialism In The Isle Of Eden
Fig. 41. The Isle of Eden where animals live in harmony; owned by Phantom. Lee Falk. The Isle of
Eden, n.p It s that utopian world or a paradise, ideal for the daydreamers, free of leeches, mosquitoes,
illness and other such stark realities. It is after all a fantasy world of comics, where the hero always
wins driving away the evil establishing order and equilibrium. According to Sharae Deckard, the
author of Paradise Discourse, Imperialism, and Globalisation: Exploiting Eden, Paradise is
inextricably linked o the long modernity of the capitalist world system, implicated in the discourses of
material exploitation and colonisation that originated in the fifteenth century and developed
throughout the Enlightenment into the present ( Deckard 2).This literature states that Paradise starts as
a geographical topography inspiring the European expeditions and colonisation, which, with the
passage of time develops into a myth rationalising the colonial discourses and praxis and finally
becoming an ironic motif, reacting to the process of neo colonisation and global capitalism. This myth
of Paradise, far from being an unchangeable object of a permanent and enduring collective
consciousness, proves to be dialectical, becoming instrumental to naturalise the conditional and
fabricated myths of imperialism, even though it is torn apart by several contradictions of an
underlying utopian impulse. These kinds of literary examples of Paradise, such as the utopian world of

Analysis Of Julius Shakespeare s Julius Caesar

Brutus Role in The Tragedy of Julius Caesar The Tragedy of Julius Caesar, written by William
Shakespeare in 1599, is just one example of a typical Shakespearean tragedy. At the beginning of the
book, the reader believes that the Julius Caesar is the main character and that the whole book will
revolve around him. By the time the reader finishes the book it is clear that Decius Brutus, or just
Brutus , is the main character and the tragic hero. Shakespeare s idea of a tragic hero had five specific

Other characters in the book acknowledged Brutus honor and mannerisms throughout the play. For
instance, at the end of the play when Antony states, This was the noblest Roman of them all
(Shakespeare 3.1.87), about Brutus. Shakespeare adds complexity to his characters. One way that he
does this is by giving his characters opposing desires and hesitation before following through with
actions. Scholar L. J. Simmons talks about Brutus mindset claiming, Brutus framed his mode of life
and action by the rules of virtue and study of Philosophy (Simmons 62). Brutus shows hesitation and
doubt when deciding whether or not to kill Caesar. On one hand, Brutus acknowledges that killing his
friend is morally wrong and that the conspirators are assassinating Caesar because they are envious of
him. When Cassius first mentioned the idea of assassinating Caesar, Brutus replied How I have
thought of this and of these times, /I shall recount hereafter; for this present, /I would not, so with love
I might entreat you, /Be any further moved. What you have said /I will consider; what you have to say
/I will with patience hear, and find a time (Shakespeare 1, 2, 164 169). Another part of Brutus wants to

Rome and Caesar could corrupt Rome. Brutus even claims that ...He [Caesar] would be crown d:

Kurt Cobain ( 1967-1994 ) Essay
Kurt Cobain (1967 1994) was one of the most inventive and ingenious musicians not only in the 1990s
but in all of the twentieth century. He was the lead singer and guitarist for the grunge rock band
Nirvana from 1987 to his death in 1994. Along with bassist Krist Novoselic and drummer Dave Grohl
(who was the band s third and final drummer) changed the concepts of hard rock, punk, and heavy
metal: and brought it to mainstream media. Before his rise to fame, Cobain had a rough childhood
from his parents divorcing to being bullied in school. According to Biography.com: He[Cobain]

present he received from his uncle Chuck a guitar. Although the instrument was fairly beat up, it
inspired Cobain to learn to play and it offered him a respite from his unhappiness at home. Alienated

The second concert I attended was a performance by the Brazos Valley Symphony Orchestra at TAMU

black, full sleeve button up shirts for females. The audience was dominantly senior adults with a
miniscule amount of students. The four pieces that caught my interest are the four movements from
Beethoven s Symphony No. 3, OP. 55, Eb Major which is also called Sinfonia Eroica. The first
movement is called Allegro con brio, the second is Marcia funebre: Adagio assai, the third is Scherzo:
Allegro vivace, and the fourth is Finale: Allegro molto. This symphony is is the first piece that
Beethoven creates in his Heroic period when he begins to write in his own style to express one ideal of
heroism taken after Napoleon. The 1st movement, Allegro con brio, is a fast paced, high dynamic
movement in a high pitched major of Eb that is a perfect theme for a hero. Beethoven s use of this
stormy, radical opening was already a new style of music compared the classical period style of
Mozart. Opening his symphony with loud dynamics at a fast tempo is something new that that was not

Napoleon. Beethoven provided the awe in this first movement from Europeans reaction of awe and

Cases of Government Interference in A Citizen´s Free...
The Supreme Court has interpreted the free exercise clause in many different ways. Today, people in
the United States have the absolute freedom to believe what they choose but they may have to yield to
the government in their religious conduct. In most instances, the government will not interfere with an
adult s practices as long as a minor is not in danger. The Supreme Court has deemed though, that if
these practices endanger a minor, the minor cannot participate. Such cases include the right an adult as
to refuse life saving treatment cannot be applied to a minor. The government s interest in saving a
child s life outweighs the freedom of religious practice. Another case in which the government may
interfere with religious conduct is if the purpose of the law was not made to prevent the practice but
merely occurred incidentally. This has occurred in Oregon, when the government banned peyote, a
hallucinogenic drug used by Native Americans. The Supreme Court deemed that the law was meant to
protect people from the powerful drug and it was not intended to infringe on the Native American
practice. The last situation in which a government can interfere with religious conduct is if the act is a
danger to public safety. As mentioned before, a case, Employment Division, Department of Human
Resources of Oregon v. Smith, came before the Supreme Court regarding the Native American use of
peyote in religious ceremonies. Oregon has a law banning the use of controlled substances

Subnatial Killers In Halloween And Wes Craven s A...
In every horror film, there is always a serial killer or supernatural being terrorizing an innocent group
of individuals. Films such as John Carpenter s Halloween and Wes Craven s A Nightmare on Elm
Street involve supernaturally based serial killers who commit murders in the name of revenge. The
gory nature and explicit violence lead people to wonder why these monsters are created. Deep in the
typical human subconscious, there are fears and impulses that can only be released through these
films. When we watch horror films, we try our hardest to relate to the victims only to find out that we
are more connected to the villain. Each time the killer slits the blonde cheerleaders throat or the
demon drags the handsome football star to the greatest depths of hell, we feel as if it is well deserved.
These scenes allow us to temporarily descend into the beautiful art of absurdity, which lies within our
minds, without physically hurting another person. Stephen King states in his essay titled Why We
Crave Horror Movies that The potential lyncher is in almost all of us (excluding saints, past and
present; but then, most saints have been crazy in their own ways), and every now and then, he has to

negative impulse stored deeply in his subconscious. Although a person may seem sane to the public,
they are capable of committing the most heinous crimes known to humanity, and may even think

A Family on the Move in The Glass Castle by Jeannette Wals
The Glass Castle is about a very poor family that constantly moves from place to place just to
seemingly stay alive. The book addresses the many social issues that we deal with every day. One of
the most important social issues disputed on a daily basis are the kind of parents we want to be and
what we want to teach our children for their future. In this memoir we are able to see how Rex and
Rosemary Walls teach their children the values of everyday life. The parents try to teach their children
that whatever life throws at you, you can handle it with resilience. The parents accomplished the goals
for their children by telling them that they loved them and to never give up. The Walls children gained
exceptional values that may not have been learned had these children grown up with different parents.
Both parents in the Glass Castle ultimately help Jeannette and the rest of her family become the people
they are today, and would not have been able to accomplish this without the parents. Jeannette Walls is

Children Are Becoming Extremely Spoiled
Children are being babied way too much. Children are becoming extremely spoiled; to the point of no
return. An end needs to be put to this before an inevitable catastrophe occurs! If ever given the chance,
it is quite frightening to think about where this generations kids will stand a few years from now, is it
not? Something needs to be done.
Our world cannot afford more spoiled children. A spoiled child is undisciplined, manipulative, and
unpleasant to be with much of the time (Schmitt). With the way our society is now, kids are becoming
very spoiled which is forming them to be narcissistic children. Do we really want more people like
Donald Trump? For goodness sake, the man believes a loan of one million dollars to be small! Is that
what we want? Well if parenting continues the way it is, that s what society will get. Spoiling will
form youngsters into becoming selfish little pampered brats, and pampered children are problematic
for parents; as well as for future children, adults, or others they will encounter along the path of their
everyday lives in the future. Spoiled children run into trouble by the time they reach school age. Other
children do not like them because they are too bossy and selfish. Adults do not like them because they
are rude and make excessive demands. Eventually spoiled children become hard for even parents to
love because of their behavior (Schmitt). This is why it is crucial for our society to make future
parents aware of the need of parenting

The American War On Drugs
The American War on Drugs war created to keep an exorbitant amount of people behind bars, and in a
subservient status. First, America has a storied history when it comes to marijuana use. However,
within the last 50 years legislation pertaining to drug use and punishment has increased significantly.
In the modern era, especially hard times have hit minority communities thanks to these drug laws.
While being unfairly targeted by drug laws and law enforcement, minorities in America are having a
difficult time trying to be productive members of society. A famous quote attributed to Charlie
Fleisher says much about the 1960 s. If you remember the 1960 s, then you weren t there. By the late
1960s drug use had become a fairly ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In order to spread lies about marijuana use, various agencies released propaganda films, most notable
of these films is Reefer Madness . In this film, high school students are lured into using marijuana,
which leads the students to commit murder, rape, suicide, and an overall decent into madness. Despite
the strong use of propaganda, marijuana use saw an upward trend between the 1950 s and the 1960 s.
Use of marijuana had spread to the white upper and middle classes by the 1960 s, partially changing
the negative connotations attached to marijuana use. The drug was used by these middle and upper
class whites to rebel against the older generation s way of thinking. Many teens were introduced to
marijuana use in college, where various other counter culture ideas were being expounded. While the
use of marijuana experienced a rise since the 1800 s to the middle of the 20th century, use of the drug
saw a strong downward trend in the 1970 s through the early 1990 s, in part due to the strongest

Mr. Van Gogh s Starry Night
Desmond Tutu says, Hope is being able to see there is light despite all of the darkness. HOPE. That is
the first word that entered my mind when I saw Starry night painted by Mr. Van Gogh. Even Mr. Van
Gogh mostly used dark colors to his art, the sky which dominated a lot of space in the canvas brings
peacefulness in the painting. The dim light coming from the houses in the village and the church
standing in the middle of it added to the peaceful glow of the painting. The painting reminds me of
how long time ago, people accustomed to sleep and live like that. So simple yet full of peace. The
peacefulness that is difficult to seek by now. In the midst of our circumstances in life and the way we
live right now. Why hope? Because of the outstanding

Hogs Narrative
A warm, translucent jelly was spread across my abdomen. A screen displayed my internal organs, as
the technician operating a handheld machine, glided it across my stomach. An ultrasound, something
that was unknown and strange to six year old me. My mom explained it as a procedure most pregnant
women receive. Once it was completed, the person operating the bizarre machine wiped away the
translucent substance and told us we could go. I was dropped off at McFall Elementary where I
walked back to Mrs.Griffith s classroom. Due to the fact that it was May, the class was decorating
styrofoam cups to later put flowers in for our moms as Mother s Day gifts. I sat down and got to work.
Not even ten minutes later, my mom walked in through the door of ... Show more content on

Waiting for procedures, waiting for results, we waited and waited, and waited some more. Time
seemed to stretch on forever. Nevertheless, it was only two weeks. I lost a lot of weight during this
time period, due to the fact that many scans that I had to have need to be done on an empty stomach.
After the scans, I would soon have my surgery. My surgery kept getting pushed back, causing me to
have to continue to wait. Much of my time was spent with my eyes on the large computer screen
whilst I played Webkinz, or watching the neverending re runs of the Bee Movie on the movie channel
that was provided. Finally, I was sent into surgery.
I have no recollection of the moments leading up to surgery, it was a rushed blur of exchanges of
words and preparation. However, after the nephrectomy, I woke up to a room packed and overflowing
with my family members and a Mount Everest sized pile of stuffed animals, my favorite toy in the
world at the time. I wasn t in pain immediately because they were still administering pain medication
through the IV that was inserted into my arm. I fell asleep shortly after I first woke

A Home Energy Audit
What To Expect When You Get A Home Energy Audit
If your power bills are higher than your friends or neighbors, yet you still feel too hot or too cold in
your home, then your house probably isn t very energy efficient. If you live in an older home, it could
have single pane windows and inadequate insulation. Before you spend a lot of money on upgrades, it
s best to have an energy audit so you know exactly what needs to be done. Here are some of the things
that are examined during the audit.
Power Bills And Lifestyle
The first thing the auditor will do is examine your lifestyle and look at things like how many people
live in your home, the thermostat and hot water heater settings, how often you use the washer and
dishwasher, and whether you have a pool. Next, he or she examines your power bill to see how much
energy you consume. You ll want to gather bills over several months so the auditor can see your
energy consumption during various seasons of the year.
Physical Examination
Next, the auditor makes a complete physical examination of your home. On the exterior he or she
looks for gaps and cracks that allow air to leak into or out of your home. The auditor checks the roof
and type of windows you have. The inside is examined thoroughly for amount and type of insulation,
age of appliances, state of the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This helps you spend money where it will do the most good. You may need to add insulation to the
attic and between the walls, upgrade your windows, or seal cracks around the exterior. You ll also
receive recommendations for saving energy such as the best settings for your HVAC and water heater.
Although you ll have to pay for the home energy audit, the expense is well worth it since it will save
on your monthly power bill, and more importantly, you and your family will be much more
comfortable inside your

The Theory Of International Relations
When studying International Relations, there are various theories involved, three of these theories
being: realism, liberalism, and constructivism. A theory is fundamentally ideas and complex concepts
that have their own way of understanding something. These theories are used in evaluating world
politics, by coming up with a unique way of identifying and explaining the events that occur around
the world (Mingst 5). The theories help explain different perspectives on how the world system
functions; as the political scientist, Stephen Walt explains,
No single approach can capture all the complexity of contemporary world politics. Therefore we are
better off with a diverse array of competing ideas rather than a single theoretical orthodoxy.
Competition between theories helps reveal their strengths and weaknesses and spurs subsequent
refinements, while revealing flaws in conventional wisdom (Mingst 6). Realism focuses on the idea
that each state bases its policies off of the interpretation that it s national interest is defined in terms of
power (Mingst 6). Realists believe that because the international system is anarchic, which means that
there is no authoritative hierarchy, it leads to a self help system in the states, where each state has to
fend for, and support itself. Since states under the realist theory must rely on themselves for their own
security, they can often be seen as selfish, fearful and power seeking. Realists believe that in this
system, states

What Is Airport Security Setting
Vincent Cook How Airport Security is Constricting After 9/11 when the terrorist attacked us and took
over a couple of air airplanes, they started to go for our main government buildings. The president
started to get concerned about the people s safety in America. So they decide to heavy down on
Airport Security. I think they really don t give you any privacy. Paul, Rand has a story to tell about
when he went to the Airport and he had to go through the line. They asked him to step aside for a
moment and they wanted to full body search him, but they didn t care if he missed his flight or not.

A lot of people have had personal experiences on bombing and other related things going on in the
airport or on the planes. In the last two weeks, I have been through TSA screening eight times and not
once was I asked to go through the millimeter wave machine, or undergo an enhanced pat down. Odds
are that most of the 2.2 million passengers who will go through airport security each day during this
holiday weekend will have a similar experience. On the last leg of my trip, I finally asked to go
through both procedures to see what all the fuss was about. ( Personal Experience) He said no one
touched him in any type of way that he should have not have been. Everyone will never make up there
mind if they like it or not just because everyone has their own opinion about when they go through
airport security. But really if they go back to the old way of searching everyone we would have more
bomb threats. Manually because there is a lot of types to sneak in a bomb like shoe bombs, underwear
bombs and drink bombs. All TSA wants to do is protect our safety but also sometimes they step

Many cultures have common interests, while others may have customs that differ greatly from that of another. Technology has had a huge impact on present day cultures. Many culture have been altered including my own, and some have been created due to the rise of technology. In spite of their differences, both African and African American culture have been able to connect in certain ways in recent years, as well as other cultures. Stress is somewhat subjective both in the measurement of severity and experience; the way in which individuals perceive and interpret stressors may vary greatly (Bowes Jaffee, 2013). • 11. Implementing A Job Rotation Program Within An Organization... Zachary Golden Final Paper Outline Abstract The focus of this study is the benefits gained by implementing a job rotation program within an organization and the advantages gained by the employees and employer. There are four key areas that can be affect by job rotation:orienting new employees, training employees, enhancing career development and preventing job boredom. In this study, I propose that incorporating a well planned job rotation schedule not only improves the productivity of an organization, but also increases the overall job satisfaction of employees. Organizational Description Job rotation is an approach to employee development, where a person is developed through a scheduled rotation through tasks in order give the widest exposure to the entire operation. It is also practiced, so that qualified employees are provided more insight into a company s processes, and to reduce employee burnout and increase job satisfaction through varying work to provide new challenges. At the most senior levels, job rotation or management rotation, is closely linked with developing specific people to step into an existing job. In this situation the goal is to provide learning experiences and position prospective managers in area that allow them assume a higher level position in the future. While this practice is important to the growth of management in a business, this study will focus primarily on the rotation of junior management and workers. Job rotation involves the ... They are used in many trucks, ships, buses and small passenger cars in Europe right now.[1] Many believe that diesel engine are heavier, noisier and generate black smock when running. However, diesel engine s unique advantages can make them the engine of the future for vehicles. And with much more stringent standard to take effect in the future, diesel engine s emissions and control technologies are still very much in the forefront. This paper will cover the developments in diesel vehicles emission regulation and control technology for NOx, particulate matter (PM) for diesel vehicles. Regulation Right now there are two kinds of emission standard in US. One of them is federal standards established by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and another is California standards. Since the State of California are facing more severe air pollutant problem than most of other state, they choose to adopt its own emission regulations. The California Air Resources Board (ARB) establish engine and vehicle emission regulations that are often more stringent than the federal rules. Other states can make their own decision to either implement the federal emission standards or to use California requirements. After the Clean Air Act Amendments (CAAA) on 1990, two sets of standards have been defined for light duty vehicles. Tier I standard was published in 1991 and was phased in between 1994 and 1997. That is an important factor and that is also one thing that I feel is key in why small businesses are so important. Upon doing research I learned that small businesses paid almost fifty percent of the U.S. payroll and this payroll was towards individuals who may not have been qualified for jobs at larger corporation. The US economy is made up of various types of people from different walks of life and I feel it is important that all individuals should have an opportunity for employment so that we can provide for our families and small business help this become possible. Small businesses are important to the U.S economy for multiple reasons. People are definitely morally responsible to follow a code of ethics and should never cheat each other. Parts of this code of ethics should be honesty, integrity, fidelity, charity, responsibility, and self discipline. Those ethics should apply both to a person buying something, and a person selling something. I don t believe that a person should be forced to follow the caveat emptor policy, on the basis that it is unfair and unjust both to the buyer and seller. He took advantage of the people s necessity to get out of Oklahoma for his own personal gain. Also, the buyer has a certain responsibility too. They need to make sure to not completely trust the seller, because not everyone is ethical. Privacy And Confidentiality In Health Care Ethical problem paper Privacy and Confidentiality Introduction The question of privacy and confidentiality as it relates to electronic health records (EHR) requires serious attention. In spite of the potential advantage of EHR in the way patient information is stored, communicated and processed by the parties involved in healthcare delivery, there is widespread concern that patient privacy may be compromised during the delivery. Healthcare is changing and so are the tools used to coordinate better care for patients (Rodriguez. 2011). In order for electronic health records to achieve their desired goals, protection of patient privacy is paramount. On April 6, 2016, I shadowed Megan in 7C and PICU, which was an eventful day full of thought provoking and noteworthy patient interactions and child life centered conversations. This was my second time in 7C/PICU but my first time shadowing Megan. It was intriguing to see how two different CCLS s handled the same units. Through my shadowing experience and observations, I gained knowledge of how to handle grief/bereavement situations, how to properly prioritize patients, charting techniques, and much more. This week I was able to reflect back to my knowledge of development so that I could better relate our coursework to my practicum experiences. In this journal, I will focus on two main patient interactions, both, which were unique, thought provoking, and relatable to developmental theory and coursework. I will also briefly discuss the knowledge I gained on how a CCLS can provide support during grief and bereavement situations. The first interaction I observed/participated in was with an 8 year old male in the PICU who was coping with injuries from a major automobile accident and lice. Megan and I entered the room where the patient was playing with a remote control car. His nurse had created a racetrack out of toys and items in his hospital room. It was refreshing to see a nurse who valued play enough to take the time to create a playful environment for her patient. Megan swiftly built rapport, explained her role, and offered normative play opportunities. The patient was ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Basically a plasma monitor is a layer of gas between two gas plates. Plasma monitors are flat screen, thin, and lightweight which allows it to be hung from a wall. It also has a good contrast of colors causing images to be more vivid and colorful. Plasmas were more expensive than LCD monitors but due to the fact that it uses more energy, LCD monitors have become popular which results in a rise of price. Nowadays both plasma and LCD screens are very similar in prices. Plasma screens are often compared to LCD screens since both are flat screen and have a thin profile. But there are much more differences between the two. First of all, plasma screens use plasma technology (as implied in its name) while LCD screens use liquid crystal technology. LCDs are more energy efficient and are lighter than similar sized plasmas. LCD may also have a longer lifespan and a better resolution while plasmas have better contrast of colors, better picture quality, and better viewing angles. But due to today s advanced technology, LCD and plasma screens are highly similar. So similar that these differences no longer can be that noticeable. In order to recommend between which of the two types of screens to purchase, it would depend first on what the buyer is looking for. If the buyer is looking for a big screen television ranged from fifty inches or larger, plasma screen would be better because it has more of a reasonable price for its size and it has a better picture quality for bigger screens. If the buyer is looking for a smaller television screen ranged from fifteen inches to forty two inches, LCD screen would be better since its more lightweight, slimmer, and has a good resolution for its size. The Isle of Eden, n.p It s that utopian world or a paradise, ideal for the daydreamers, free of leeches, mosquitoes, illness and other such stark realities. It is after all a fantasy world of comics, where the hero always wins driving away the evil establishing order and equilibrium. According to Sharae Deckard, the author of Paradise Discourse, Imperialism, and Globalisation: Exploiting Eden, Paradise is inextricably linked o the long modernity of the capitalist world system, implicated in the discourses of material exploitation and colonisation that originated in the fifteenth century and developed throughout the Enlightenment into the present ( Deckard 2).This literature states that Paradise starts as a geographical topography inspiring the European expeditions and colonisation, which, with the passage of time develops into a myth rationalising the colonial discourses and praxis and finally becoming an ironic motif, reacting to the process of neo colonisation and global capitalism. This myth of Paradise, far from being an unchangeable object of a permanent and enduring collective consciousness, proves to be dialectical, becoming instrumental to naturalise the conditional and fabricated myths of imperialism, even though it is torn apart by several contradictions of an underlying utopian impulse. This symphony is is the first piece that Beethoven creates in his Heroic period when he begins to write in his own style to express one ideal of heroism taken after Napoleon. The 1st movement, Allegro con brio, is a fast paced, high dynamic movement in a high pitched major of Eb that is a perfect theme for a hero. Beethoven s use of this stormy, radical opening was already a new style of music compared the classical period style of Mozart. Opening his symphony with loud dynamics at a fast tempo is something new that that was not played in the classical period. The two elements meld together to provide an overwhelming force in the audience, which is exactly what Beethoven tried to accomplish to show his idea for his hero Napoleon. Beethoven provided the awe in this first movement from Europeans reaction of awe and terror to the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 37. Cases of Government Interference in A Citizen´s Free... The Supreme Court has interpreted the free exercise clause in many different ways. Today, people in the United States have the absolute freedom to believe what they choose but they may have to yield to the government in their religious conduct. In most instances, the government will not interfere with an adult s practices as long as a minor is not in danger. The Supreme Court has deemed though, that if these practices endanger a minor, the minor cannot participate. Such cases include the right an adult as to refuse life saving treatment cannot be applied to a minor. The government s interest in saving a child s life outweighs the freedom of religious practice. Another case in which the government may interfere with religious conduct is if the purpose of the law was not made to prevent the practice but merely occurred incidentally. This has occurred in Oregon, when the government banned peyote, a hallucinogenic drug used by Native Americans. The Supreme Court deemed that the law was meant to protect people from the powerful drug and it was not intended to infringe on the Native American practice. The last situation in which a government can interfere with religious conduct is if the act is a danger to public safety. As mentioned before, a case, Employment Division, Department of Human Resources of Oregon v. Smith, came before the Supreme Court regarding the Native American use of peyote in religious ceremonies. The charter lays out the rights of canadians, aboriginal peoples, equalization and how to amend the constitution. It was passed and added to the Canadian constitution in 1982. • 39. Subnatial Killers In Halloween And Wes Craven s A... In every horror film, there is always a serial killer or supernatural being terrorizing an innocent group of individuals. Films such as John Carpenter s Halloween and Wes Craven s A Nightmare on Elm Street involve supernaturally based serial killers who commit murders in the name of revenge. The gory nature and explicit violence lead people to wonder why these monsters are created. Deep in the typical human subconscious, there are fears and impulses that can only be released through these films. When we watch horror films, we try our hardest to relate to the victims only to find out that we are more connected to the villain. Each time the killer slits the blonde cheerleaders throat or the demon drags the handsome football star to the greatest depths of hell, we feel as if it is well deserved. These scenes allow us to temporarily descend into the beautiful art of absurdity, which lies within our minds, without physically hurting another person. Stephen King states in his essay titled Why We Crave Horror Movies that The potential lyncher is in almost all of us (excluding saints, past and present; but then, most saints have been crazy in their own ways), and every now and then, he has to let loose to scream and roll around in the grass. King is implying that even the sanest man has a negative impulse stored deeply in his subconscious. Although a person may seem sane to the public, they are capable of committing the most heinous crimes known to humanity, and may even think ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 40. A Family on the Move in The Glass Castle by Jeannette Wals The Glass Castle is about a very poor family that constantly moves from place to place just to seemingly stay alive. The book addresses the many social issues that we deal with every day. One of the most important social issues disputed on a daily basis are the kind of parents we want to be and what we want to teach our children for their future. In this memoir we are able to see how Rex and Rosemary Walls teach their children the values of everyday life. The parents try to teach their children that whatever life throws at you, you can handle it with resilience. The parents accomplished the goals for their children by telling them that they loved them and to never give up. The Walls children gained exceptional values that may not have been learned had these children grown up with different parents. Both parents in the Glass Castle ultimately help Jeannette and the rest of her family become the people they are today, and would not have been able to accomplish this without the parents. Jeannette Walls is the main character in the Glass Castle. She begins to have faith in her father that he will keep his promises. Early in the memoir her father teaches her a life lesson to always face your fears no matter how tough they may seem. In his words ... but you can t cling to the side your whole life, that one lesson every parent needs to teach a child is If you don t want to sink, you better figure out how to swim... (66). • 44. Children Are Becoming Extremely Spoiled Children are being babied way too much. Children are becoming extremely spoiled; to the point of no return. An end needs to be put to this before an inevitable catastrophe occurs! If ever given the chance, it is quite frightening to think about where this generations kids will stand a few years from now, is it not? Something needs to be done. Our world cannot afford more spoiled children. A spoiled child is undisciplined, manipulative, and unpleasant to be with much of the time (Schmitt). With the way our society is now, kids are becoming very spoiled which is forming them to be narcissistic children. Do we really want more people like Donald Trump? For goodness sake, the man believes a loan of one million dollars to be small! Is that what we want? Well if parenting continues the way it is, that s what society will get. Spoiling will form youngsters into becoming selfish little pampered brats, and pampered children are problematic for parents; as well as for future children, adults, or others they will encounter along the path of their everyday lives in the future. Spoiled children run into trouble by the time they reach school age. Other children do not like them because they are too bossy and selfish. Adults do not like them because they are rude and make excessive demands. Eventually spoiled children become hard for even parents to love because of their behavior (Schmitt). This is why it is crucial for our society to make future parents aware of the need of parenting ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The drug was used by these middle and upper class whites to rebel against the older generation s way of thinking. That is the first word that entered my mind when I saw Starry night painted by Mr. Van Gogh. The dim light coming from the houses in the village and the church standing in the middle of it added to the peaceful glow of the painting. • 49. The Theory Of International Relations When studying International Relations, there are various theories involved, three of these theories being: realism, liberalism, and constructivism. A theory is fundamentally ideas and complex concepts that have their own way of understanding something. These theories are used in evaluating world politics, by coming up with a unique way of identifying and explaining the events that occur around the world (Mingst 5). The theories help explain different perspectives on how the world system functions; as the political scientist, Stephen Walt explains, No single approach can capture all the complexity of contemporary world politics. Therefore we are better off with a diverse array of competing ideas rather than a single theoretical orthodoxy. Competition between theories helps reveal their strengths and weaknesses and spurs subsequent refinements, while revealing flaws in conventional wisdom (Mingst 6). Realism focuses on the idea that each state bases its policies off of the interpretation that it s national interest is defined in terms of power (Mingst 6). Realists believe that because the international system is anarchic, which means that there is no authoritative hierarchy, it leads to a self help system in the states, where each state has to fend for, and support itself. Since states under the realist theory must rely on themselves for their own security, they can often be seen as selfish, fearful and power seeking. Realists believe that in this system, states ...
