Ethnobotany is branch of botany that specially
examines how people’s interaction with plants.
Scope of ethnobotany includes the study of plants used for a
variety of economic and non-economic societal purposes
(e.g., As tools , construction materials, as food, in ritual, for
divination, as cosmetics, as clothing, and in social life
It also broadly covers research, observation and
identification of wide range of botanical species and
medicinaly important plants

collection for culture and ethnobotany
