Dermal Fillers Research Paper
What is a Dermal Filler
There are a number of factors which can impact your skin s appearance: sun exposure, hormonal
changes and aging all can play a part in your skin losing Hyaluronic acid and collagen. Once this
starts to happen your skin is more prone to fine lines, wrinkles and a loss of fullness and elasticity.
The good news is that Serene Radiance has a range of dermal fillers that can reverse these signs of
aging by filling in lines and restoring lost volume while enhancing your facial contours and lips for
natural looking results.
All our dermal fillers are Hyaluronic Acid (HA) based. Hyaluronic Acid is a naturally occurring
sugar found in your body. When it combines with the water that exists in your skinit instantly
smoothes lines and wrinkles, restores lost volume in the cheeks and jaw line and can also enhance
your lips. Dermal fillers have also been shown to naturally stimulate collagen production in your
skin. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

wrinkles and folds in Canada and the United States. Presently, hyaluronic acid based facial fillers

The Athenian Assembly Of Build A Fleet Of Triremes
According to Herodotus Histories book he states Themistocles convinces the Athenian assembly
to build a fleet of triremes , which will be explained more as you read on. Both sides had very
similar ships the Triremes which were 40 50 ton wooden warships up to 40 m long. Light,
streamlined, and manoeuvrable, they were powered in battle by 170 oarsmen split in three
ranks down each side of the ship. They were able to rapidly accelerate, break, zigzag, and turn
360 degrees in just two ships lengths, good seamanship could place the vessel to best advantage
and employ the principal strategy of naval warfare at that time which was to ram the enemy. The
way the Greeks prepared for the battle was, they had 371 triremes and pentekonters which were
smaller fifty oared ship, successfully under Themistocles, but officially led by the spartan
Eurybiades. According to Herodotus he mentions that The Athenians with 182 ships, half the
whole fleet, 40 from Corinth; 30 from Aegina; 20 from Megara; 20 from Chalcis; 16 from
Lacedaemon (Sparta), 15 from Sicyon; 10 from Epidaurus; 7 from Ambracia; 7 from Eretria; 5
from Troezen; 4 from Naxos; 3 from Hermione; 3 from Leucas; 2 from Ceos; 2 from Styra; 1
from Croton; and 1 from Cynthus. The total number of warships was 368 . Herodotus also
mentions the Persians fleet: 1,327 warships from the Persian allies and subjugated states present at
Salamis. These included 300 from Phoenicia; 260 from the Greek cities in Asia Minor; 237 from the

John Augustine s Confessing And Recounting Moments
Saint Augustine, also known as Augustine of Hippo, was born on 354 AD in a North African
county in present day Algeria. Throughout of his life, Augustine has endured a lot of hard ships
and lessons that he wanted to share with others. He decided in 397 AD to compose an
autobiographical book confessing and recounting moments in his life. Confessions by Saint
Augustine are a 13 book series comprised of Augustine s life and how he became to be one of the
most important priests during his time.
During Book I, Augustine recalls his childhood and how it was like growing up and turning into a
young man. He begins his book in an opening prayer, praising his lord and raises the question how
can we see God if we do not know who he is. He mentions how anything that exists and creation
contains God because he created the Earth. This answers to the question answers how Augustine
found God in a sense that, he saw others around him and believed that God was present in
everything he has done. An example given in his book is how the comforts of human milk were
waiting for him, but God gave him the milk in his mother s breast to nourish him. This is in
accordance to the plan of creation.
He later recalls his and other babies experience with crying and pouting for the milk. Augustine
believes that babies are not innocent because the get jealous and sin. The only innocent feature on
a baby is their frame. He is using babies as a metaphor in saying that all humans are born with
original sin.

Colonialism In Africa
By the 1960, most of Africa had become independent from colonial powers who reluctantly gave
them freedom after wars that were gory and unpleasant. Africa had started to build or put together
a government that could hopefully unify the country. African had presidents, dictators, etc. But did
Africa ever really gain independence? Based on who you ask, you will get an answer that can be
separated into different groups, one group will tell you yes and others will say no. At the end of
colonialismthere was never a shift in society in Africa. If you look at the current GDP of most
African countries, the growth of the economy, and then peer at the amount of debt they owe to
the world bank then one can see that things have not changed since the end of colonialism. Africa
shifted from colonialism to post colonialism, however Europe never left Africa formally. And
Africa never really pushed for them to leave due to the structure of colonialism. For instance,
when Congo had gained political independence from Belgium, there were only 16 college
graduates in the whole country. Colonialism underdeveloped Africa, many of the people in Africa
never gained an education. In addition, country lines were created in order for colonial powers to
be able to exert control over a group of people that it had just defeated. Before colonialism, Africans
had city states as opposed to nation states. The economy in Africa was primarily based on trade
between people in the community. Consequently, when

The Eyes And The Gaze Of The Male Psyche
The word Gaze can be defined as: to look steadily and intently, as with great curiosity, interest,
pleasure, or wonder. When using this definition in a theatrical sense it is imperative to determine
who is the one gazing and who is being gazed at. In the instance of David Bowie and Enter
Achilles the gaze and subsequent objectification varies due to the performers wished effect. For
instance they each use techniques to garner their desired gaze from the audience through the use
of clothing and semiotics. Both examples have interesting undertones of sexuality in relation to
their objectification from the audience members. Stereotypically, the male gaze has connotations
of men staring and objectifying women but the two examples create a way for themselves to be
gazed upon as opposed to being the one who gazes. After premiering in 1995 DV8 s performance
of Enter Achilles was proclaimed A funny, cruel exploration of the male psyche (DV8 website).
This performance aims to challenge the stereotypical characteristics of what it takes to be an alpha
male set against the backdrop of the 90s lad culture . The performance creates a sense of power that
males possess before pushing this to the point of parody, thus, exposing the male weakness. This is
shown through the pack mentality that many of the male characters have. Throughout the
performance it is rare to see a male character who is on their own for a length of time. DV8 show
this mentality through strength in numbers that

Napoleon s Rise Of Power
Napoleon s Rise to Power
Jack Knickrehm AP euro period 6 February 22, 2017
Hailed as one of the greatest rulers, military commanders and conquerors in the history of
mankind, Napoleon Bonaparte transformed a continent, and made himself a household name and a
universally admired icon, even two centuries later. As a French political leader and military
general, Napoleon Bonaparte conquered most of Europe in just 16 years. Later crowned Emperor,
he transformed land use, education, banking, agriculture, and legal codes that are still used in
France today. So how did Napoleon rise to such ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Or again when Napoleon s troops scored a victory against Egypt s military rulers, the Mamluks,
at the Battle of the Pyramids in July 1798. This was a major blow to British supply routes and a
great victory for France, and especially Napoleon. He was able to acquire direct control over an
important and profitable trade route. This is very important as not only did these conquests
display Napoleon s capabilities and prepare him and his army for the coup as well as the
Napoleonic wars that would soon follow, but it also earned him more and more political and
military power with each battle he won. It also granted him resources and territory from which to
stage his coup and seizure of power. He used his conquered territories in Italy to fund his military
campaigns and his acquired trade routes to facilitate the influx of power and wealth into his newly
conquered territories.
Taking territory also allowed him to establish his own regional governments. In 1797, he defeated
the Italians and the Austrians and created his puppet government of the Cispadane Republic. He
did similarly with his conquest of the so called low countries, which ended with his victory and
the treaty of Campo Formio. This is a very pivotal point in Napoleon s rise to power as it is the
first instance of a territory that was completely conquered

Undocumented Workers in the United States do not Take Away...
Have you ever stopped to think how much you would do for your family? You should think
about what Immigrants do for their family. Immigrants cross the border everyday. Americans
think that they just walk over , no big deal. You never hear the real story; you never hear how
they are treated. Once they actually get across, they get to live like they deserve, lavishly, right?
That s far from the truth. They cross the border and get low paying jobs (usually 2 dollars an hour)
and that s still better then what they would receive in their homeland. Isn t that something? Some
Americans say that Immigrants are taking away jobs. What American would be willing to work

makes a sound like that of a coming storm. The water is dirty and thick and stained gray, like the
color of dirt on the riverbank. Pieces of wook and branches flost on it s surface. Martin and the
other immigrants make it safely across but that s not always the case. In USA Today Newspaper,
headline reads Mexico captures 12 suspects linked to deadly migrant smuggling. Apparently, 19
illegal migrants were killed due to being succumbed to the heat after being locked inside an 18
wheeler s airless trailer. You can find statistics that state hundreds of illegal migrants that die a year.
They never have a chance to get a job or return to their family.
Contrary to what Americans believe, immigrants are not taking jobs away from Americans. In
Immigration News: New Study Declares Immigration to be a Plus, it states that Immigration
benefits the American economy and overall and has little negative effect on the income and job
opportunities of most native born U.S. citizens. When you look at shops or restaurants in
California, Texas, or New York, who do you notice that s running most of those shops and
restaurants? Immigrants, whether they re Mexican, Asian, or Natives. Instead of taking away jobs,
they create jobs by opening businesses. They spend their income on American goods, and pay
taxes; this

Similarities Between Thor And Scavengers
Once upon a time, Thor and Loki were traveling to Jotunheim, the giant kingdom, in this chariot
pulled by magic immortal goats. They had to go through Midgard, the human y place. They spent
the night at this farmer Egil s house. Egil had these kids, Roskva and Thjalfi. So Thor slaughtered
his pet goats and they all feasted. Thortold Egil, Roskva, and Thjalfi to lay the skins and bones of
the goats together in a pile after they were done eating so he could bring the goat s back to life
later, because magic...?
After everyone went to sleep, Thjalfi went and sucked the marrow out of some of the bones for a

Arnie Plagiarism
Hi Everyone,
Regarding the College Paper Case Study, I have to say that Reggie and Arnie share almost the same
amount of responsibility, they were both committing plagiarisms. Furthermore, I think that Arnie
was more guilty because he was ought not just to warn Reggie about the consequences, but also he
was responsible for reporting Reggie s behavior as stated in the UoPeople Course Catalog (2017),
Students encountering suspected cases of cheating should discreetly report the violator to their
Course Instructor (p. 139).
What do I think about plagiarism? well, it is definitely a problem which is present in many
aspects of our life these days. For example, in my field of work, I have seen programmers
delivered solutions that they don t even understand or are capable of improving, simply because
what they did was just to copy and paste their code from a forum. You may argue that it is code,
and it could look really similar one to another, but the truth is that code means ideas, and those
could also be plagiarised. Sadly this is a problem which is not getting any better, especially
nowadays where people are able to copy images, music, and videos from any source through the
internet basically without any effort. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
What I would do or recommend to avoid it, is this:
Always take notes of the source of every material you use for your papers in case you need to cite
and reference any of them.
Use tools like an online plagiarism checker, because you may write something you read a long
time ago and that also needs to be cited and referenced.
If you are not sure you are plagiarising, better cite and reference the material to be sure.

Abstract
Due to rapid urbanization and uncontrolled growth rate of population, solid waste management has
become acute in India. The current practices of the uncontrolled dumping of waste on the outskirts
of towns/cities have created a serious environmental and public health problem. Plastic waste
which is biggest problem in waste management is recycled in India in an unorganized way. 60% of
the plastic waste collected and segregated gets recycled back into materials for further processing
into consumer products, while the balance is left unutilized. The focus of the conference is to

for grant of authorization.
Disposal of municipal solid wastes
Land filling shall be restricted to non biodegradable, inert waste and other waste that are not
suitable either for recycling or for biological processing. Land filling shall also be carried out for
residues of waste processing facilities as well as pre processing rejects from waste processing
facilities. Land filling of mixed waste shall be avoided unless the same is found unsuitable for
waste processing. Under unavoidable circumstances or till installation of alternate facilities, land
filling shall be done following proper norms.
Managing Non biodegradable solid waste (NBDSW)
Non biodegradable solid waste (NBDSW) or refuse is a carpet word. It covers a variety of
materials ranging from asbestos to Zinc batteries. Polythene and its related compounds are the most
commonly found solid waste materials in urban environs. Many non biodegradable solid waste
materials are known to cause considerable environmental hazards when released into land, water
and atmosphere.

Angel Pottery Case Paper
Angel Pottery has primarily focused on producing serving bowls and sugar bowls for customers.
The company is eager to launch a new product which will be mugs. This new product was selected
largely due to customer interest for this type of product. The goal is to produce 25 mugs per week.
The estimated cycle time of each product is twenty one days from beginning of production to
distribution to customer.
Focusing on the production of five mugs per shift and running one shift per day during a five day
work week might result in a bottleneck during the firing phase of production. This could happen
because the potter can produce more mugs per week than can be fired in one kiln firing. The kiln
can hold three shelves of four mugs for a total of twelve ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
According to Vorne, The Theory of Constraints is a methodology for identifying the most important
limiting factor (i.e. constraint) that stands in the way of achieving a goal and then systematically
improving that constraint until it is no longer the limiting factor. In manufacturing, the constraint is
often referred to as a bottleneck (2016). As the WIP collects on inventory shelves, there is greater
evidence that the kiln firing process is a bottleneck for production. This constraint in the process
could be alleviated by adding an additional kiln to the firm. Anjoran stated, One way to reduce the
impact of bottlenecks is to Adding capacity by increasing resources (men, machines...) this is often
done best with inexpensive, low tech, low complexity equipment that will be down less often than a
complex, high tech solution
(2016). In the case of Angel Pottery, the purchase of a second kiln (low tech resource) could help to
alleviate the bottleneck that exists due to limited space kiln space. Lean management could be
applied to increase productivity and improve cycle times. With the constraint of firing space
alleviated by capital expenditure on a second kiln, pull from the customer or demand will drive
production. This Kanban will help to orchestrate when and how much inventory should be

The Effects Of Raising The Minimum Wage
The Negative Impacts of Raising the Minimum Wage
While the debate over the effects of raising the minimum wage continues, there are countless
studies and statistical data to support both sides of this controversy. Often the negative impacts of
these wage increases are overshadowed by those who want to help the working class who live at
or below the poverty level. Do these increases actually help the ones that they were intended to
help? What are the negative impacts on the rest of the working class? How do these increases affect
small business, unskilled laborers and overall unemployment?
Originally enacted in the 1930s to ensure fair wages for all those employed, today the minimum
wage rarely benefits those it was designed to help. Increasing the minimum wage has been shown to
have many negative impacts such as reducing entry level non skilled positions, increased
unemployment, and has been shown to be a key factor in increasing inflation. Surprisingly, the
minimum wage does very little to help the workers it was intended to help. Data from the
Bureau of Labor (2014) shows that only 4.3% out of the 75.9 million hourly paid employees
earned at or below the Federal Minimum wage of $7.25 an hour with just over half of those
earning less than that due to working in jobs that are exempt such as disabled workers, tipped
employees, and full time students. This population of workers currently accounts for a smaller
portion of the work force than it used to and in turn only

Richard Wright and William Faulkner both examine the psychologies of excluded members of
society. While in Native Son, Wright studies someone oppressed and downtrodden beneath society,
Faulkner looks at a family of outsiders cast far away from a common community in As I Lay Dying.
For both, a central question becomes the function of their characters minds in relation to one
another, and to reality. Through different approaches, both Wright and Faulkner conduct modernist
explorations of the social outcast s interiority. To accomplish this, each author s narrativevoice

This gap between what Bigger understands about himself and what the narrative voice can
comprehend creates dramatic irony, especially when Bigger is confronted with Jan and Mary s
inexplicably friendly behavior. Wright s descriptions of Jan and Mary make their good
intentions clear to all but Bigger, and therefore sets up an unequal relationship between Bigger
and the reader. He is now at the mercy not only of his own impulses, his employer s wishes, and
the law of white society, but also of Wright and his audience. The vertical consciousness that
allows us to see so clearly what Bigger cannot, supports the deterministic trap that Wright has set
for him. His environment has saddled him with unsatisfied urges, and now Wright has made
him the victim of chance. In Mary s claim that she wants to see how black people live in
Chicago, Bigger experiences the deep sense of exclusion that Wright describes in How Bigger
Was Born (518). Then, in seeing Mary s white robed mother at her bedroom door, he encounters
the corresponding feeling of looking at things with a painful and unwarrantable nakedness, the
understanding of his total vulnerability, which forces him to kill Mary (518). His fate is sealed.
With this dramatic irony, produced by a kind of vertical consciousness, Wright has proven to what
extent the black man s agency, his interiority, is warped by external forces and placed in

The Strange People In Roald Dahl s The Voyage One
Have you ever been on a trip and met some strange people? Not in the sense as creepy, but as in
weird? This occurs to Roald Dahl in Going Solo. On his trip to different places to work for the
Shell Company, he meets two rather odd people. One who likes to run around the deck naked
with his wife. And another one who finds fingers and toes disgusting. (The Voyage Out, 64).
Both of these two people meet Dahl on his trip. Dahl thinks they re both different in sense of he
doesn t have the same impression for both of them. But the way Dahl describes them and their
actions show that they might not be so different after all. There was a person on the SS Mantola
who Dahl meets, Major Griffiths. Major Griffiths had a black moustache and had spent thirty
six years in India, and was going there again (The Voyage Out, 9). Major Griffiths was quite odd.
One day, Dahl was looking out of his port hole when all of a sudden, he saw someone naked run
by. At first, he thought it was a ghost, but as soon as the ghost ran by again, Dahl recognized him
as Major Griffiths. (The Voyage Out, 7 8). Dahl found this weird and strange, but at the same time,
he was jealous of the Major. Dahl wished he had the courage to go out there and run around naked
around the deck without worrying about what people thought about him. You can probably come to
the conclusion that Dahl liked Major Griffiths courage, which he did, but Dahl didn t somewhat
like him, he actually thought the Major was rude and dotty.

Spanish In Texas
Spanish is a huge part of the Texan culture, so when I found out I had to take a foreign language
class in high school I figured Spanish would be the best. I have never even vacationed outside the
state of Texas, which leaves me with a lot of Texas culture. However, I still was missing Spanish in
both ways; knowing the language and the influence in Texas.
I now have that part of Texan culture in my life. It s been helpful in history, communicating with
other people that don t speak very fluent English, and understanding what a Texan is. In school
there are even other students who ask for my help. When I teach them it reminds me of the struggle
I went through to be able to understand the Spanish language.

answer a question. I can t remember ever getting one wrong.
I eventually let him know that I had a serious problem with learning Spanish from our teacher and
if I didn t get I was going to fail. My biggest problems were the eighteen different conjugations we
had to use and how to structure a sentence. There are four present tense, four past tense, three
futures, four conditionals, one simple, and three preterite tenses. He first taught me how to use all
of the conjugations because without those I could never learn how to structure a sentence
appropriately. Once he taught me how to structure a sentence I never felt so confident in my ability
to speak Spanish.
The final eventually came along and I was nervous but not as nervous as I was before. I walked
out of Spanish 1 with an 80 which was far better than my 55 that I started my year with. Though I
was there to learn Spanish; I walked out realizing that it isn t always the student that s at fault for
not understanding a subject. The teacher plays a huge part in making sure the student will
understand. With my teacher; I had a communication barrier that prevented me from understanding
what she was talking about. So whenever a kid looks up to me for help I either do my best to

Autocannibalism In The Nari Praxi
In Wari funerals before the 1960s, the role of affinity played also an important part. Conklin
(1995,80 82) mentions that the male nari praxi were responsible for making the ritual fire and
the roasting rack, for the dismembering the body with a bamboo arrow tip, and for the removal
of the internal organs. They wrapped the heart and liver in leaves and roasted them. Body parts
such as nails, hair, and genitals were thrown to the fire since they were considered inedible. The
head was cut to remove the brain and the legs and arms were cut at the joints and cooked on the
roasting pit. The nari praxi were also the ones responsible for eating the corpse. The iri nari were
not allowed to eat the corpse since they had the same blood and it would be considered
autocannibalism.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The nari praxi did not eat the flesh greedily nor with their hands. They ate slowly, touching the
flesh with thin splinters and they were alternating between eating and crying. This behaviour is
completely different when compared to exocannibalism where the flesh was eaten greedily and
directly off the bone (Conklin 1995, 80 82). The ideal during this mortuary practice was for all
the flesh, heart, liver, and brains to be eaten. However, often due to the advanced decomposition
of the body (caused by the long wait for all the relatives to arrive and participate) some parts could
not be eaten and instead they were cremated (Conklin 1995, 82). The bones were either ground and

The Importance Of Folk And Popular Culture
For one of my cultural visits I went to a Mexican restaurant, El Molcajete, in Geneva, IL. In this
restaurant I observed elements of folk and popular culture which included the music that was
playing there, which was mariachi band music which made the place feel more authentic to
Mexico. The music from the mariachi band was a piece of their folk culture they had, because they
used violins, trumpets, guitarron a spanish guitar used in most Spanish music, and a vihuela a five
stringed guitar with a high pitch. Some of the popular culturethat was there was the outfits the
servers were wearing which was a plain old t shirt and some black pants, and it was more popular
culture because nowadays servers wear a shirt and pants that match what the theme or idea of the
restaurant is. I categorized the mariachi band as part of the folk culture because the instruments that
they were using were traditional instruments used in Mexico to produce the Spanish sound. The
servers outfits I categorized as popular culture because of the fact that servers in many restaurants
nowadays wear the same clothing that is casual, making it an element of popular culture. In my
opinion I think that the folk elements are seen around but not practiced in everything that is in the
restaurant, due to the exposure to the popular culture of our world. In the restaurant, some tools or
utensils used in the restaurant include a basket that holds tortillas warm, but does not make them
soggy or cold because of a

First Impressions Can Change It All Essay
Fifteen seconds go by and you have already made a first impression of a person. The first
impressions you get of a person might not always be who they turn out to be. It is about giving
people a chance as shown in Pride and Prejudice. Pride and Prejudice is a book first titled First
Impressions. Pride and Prejudiceis a book where the characters make the plot and the novel itself.
It is based upon the first impressions one character makes of another and the story revolves around
this. First Impressions embody the themes in the novel. Mr. Darcy is one major character in which
people make many first impressions of him and try to form him into the character they think he is.

Some people call him proud; but I am sure I never say anything of it. To my fancy it is only
because he does not rattle away like other young men, (Austen 184). Other characters see Mr.
Darcy as a very good man. Although Elizabeth s first impressions aren t as up to what others are,
those other characters praise him and look up to him. That is what the quote is explaining. It
helps in supporting that Mr. Darcy is loyal and exhibits good breeding. Darcy s positive

Economic Policies And Economic Policy
In every country there s a government and economy. Each counties government helps or tries to
help recover, stabilize, and grow the economy. First thing we need to look at is economic policy.
Economic policy refer to actions the government makes in the economic field. For example the
taxation, the government supply, money supply, interest rates, along with the labor market, and
national ownership. Inside the economic policy you will find all sorts of things that help make the
policy stand on it s two feet. The three main parts that tie into economic policy are supply side
economics, demand side economics, and monetary policy. Each of the three economic structures
will also help define and show what all the economic policy is and... Show more content on

Now as we can see supply side has a demand for small government and less of a tax policy. Both
of which as seen in the political views of things. So to add on to what supply side economics is
you also need to remember that politics has role. Supply side economics has a little bit of a
background when you look into it. Based upon the three pillars and what each one deals with you
can see that you can not take away the political side of it because it would then demand a smaller
role for the government and a less tax policy.
So the next branch of the economic policy would be demand side. Demand side economics relates
to an economic theory that defends the use of government spending and growth in the money
supply to prompt the demand for goods and services, thus leading to the expand of economic
activity. With demand side economics there is a theory that some believe will work. Demand side
economist support government spending to the fullest. They do so because they think it will
overcome the short term low aggregates demand. Raising the market s aggregate demand will
reduce unemployment and encourage economic activity, according to this theory. By spending the
government increases demand on

Research Paper On The Great San Francisco Earthquake
The great San Francisco Earthquake was a very deadly earthquake that occurred on April 18,
1906 at 5:12 a.m. The quake was so big that it could be felt from South Oregon to LA, as well as
central Nevada. It broke the San Andreas fault, both north and south, 296 miles total. Fires occurred
right after the quake, and because the earthquakehad broken most of the water pipes, the fires
burned for three days, causing around 28,000 buildings to burn down and more than 3,000 deaths.
This caused $500,000,000 ($500 million) in damages in 1906 currency. In our currency as of last

Convincing, cruel and constraint were the governments as both the governments controlled people,
depleted all freedom form the people, had strict laws, compelling propagandas, secret police and

rebellious characters present that stood up for their country and rebelled against the government.
The antagonist in the book 1984 and the movie V for vendetta were the government. Both the book
and movie are cautionary tales that warns the readers against the hazards totalitarianism can cause.
However there are some differences present between V for Vendetta and 1984. Firstly V for
Vendetta receives their freedom much easier and quicker as the people aren t afraid to go against
the government. Whereas in 1984 their freedom takes longer as people are afraid to confront the
government. Secondly, 1984 manifests a sad, sensitive and gloomy future in comparative to V for
Vendetta. Thirdly, V for Vendetta controls people s actions and 1984 controls people s thoughts
and emotions. Fourthly, 1984 uses surveillance systems to keep an eye on the people however, V
for Vendetta lacks surveillance systems. Fifthly, V for Vendetta beseeches spirituality in the
propagandas where as 1984 uses propagandas in way in which they feel like they are being

My Dreams Of My Superpowers
Superpowers You can do anything that you set your mind to! This was a very common phrase
that my parents would say to me when my siblings and I were younger. Now at the age of 17 I
understand that it s supposed to inspire me to follow my dream. But that s not how the mind of
my five year old self translated it. At five years old I was more focused on playing with barbie
dolls and watching superhero movies. My favorite superhero was batman. He would always
make sure to save the day and get the bad guys. At five years old my dreams for my future were
nothing like they are now. They mostly revolved around having some type of special ability. I
wanted to have telekinesis which was no doubt inspired by watching Race to Witch Mountain.
Most of the movies that I watched at five years old had some type of main character who either
had a superpower or was a superhero. Most of my dreams were to be like them and have some
cool superpower that I could use. So when my parents kept telling me that I can do anything as
long as I try, I don t think they meant that I can have any superpower I want. Looking back on it
now, most of the time that my parents said that phrase was when I told them I couldn t do my
homework because it was too hard. They most likely meant for that saying to inspire me to work
hard and finish my homework. But at five years old I thought that if this phrase applies to
homework then why can t it apply to everything else, like gaining a superpower. My family and I

It can be seen that the source that was given supports nationalism to a certain degree. They explain
all of the positive things about embracing nationalism while giving only one small negative point.
The positive points clearly prevail over the negative point which helps show the reader the author s
position on this issue. It can be seen that only self determined countries are legitimate. The
government that runs the nation state, achieves this self determination by gaining and keeping the
support of its citizens. This results in the citizens coming together as a civic nation and having great
pride in their country. If this self determined country is created from ultra nationalistic beliefs it will

After the coup d Г©tat, a military General was able to get in control of the country. With his
motivational speeches and his recognition from the battles he has won, he was able to gain the
trust of the citizens and the army. From seeing what the Germans were doing the General
decided to do the same and expand Japan. This led to the invasion of China and the start of the
Pacific War. It can be noted that nationalism is not necessarily good; it can lead to major wars and
the deaths of many innocent citizens, furthermore; it can also lead to a total annihilation of a race.
It can also be seen throughout history that genocides were also caused by ultra nationalism. In
1994 a terrible incident has occurred and that would be the Rwanda genocide. The two groups that
were involved in this are the Tutsi and Hutu group. The Tutsi and Hutu had animosity between them
and deeply desired to kill each other. Their ultra nationalistic views helped accumulate their anger
towards each other. This led to the Hutu s planned assassination on their president. They were able
to use this as an excuse in order to destroy the Tutsis. The Hutus blamed the Tutsis for killing their
president and went on a rampage which conducted the mass killing of the Tutsis. Also another
genocide that was created because of ultra nationalistic views is the Armenian genocide. After the

Edward Taylor And Anne Bradstreet
Throughout this class we have read different types of literature from many different authors. Some
of the material I truly enjoyed and some of it not so much. I really enjoyed the Native American
literature that we started out with in the beginning of the semester. I think the Native Americans
are beautiful people who appreciated the land more than most. The Native Americans were smart
people who used short stories such as The Chief s Daughters and Coyote and Bear to warn their
readers of dangers or teach them moral lessons. I also enjoyed authors such as Edward Taylor, Anne
Bradstreet, and Thomas Paine. I did not like reading William Byrd s material, chiefly because he
was rude and spoke nastily of the Native Americans. It personally offended me that he thought their
belief of afterlife to be gross and sensual .
I have read material from many different authors and although I enjoyed most of them, I have to
say that my two favorites were Edward Taylor and Anne Bradstreet. Both of these authors are
Puritans, and it is easy to tell when reading their pieces. Puritans typically write in simple language,
and always refer to God. Edward Taylor created a powerful analogy in his piece, Upon a Spider
Catching a Fly. The analogy that he describes is an analogy between people and Satan. The spider
represents the devil, who is manipulative and wants to trap people in his web of sin. The wasp
represents someone who is strong in their faith and does not let themselves get trapped in

Television has come to define American culture and its youth in very significant ways. What began
as a platform for entertainment has branched out into becoming a remarkable and unexpected way
for younger children to learn. It is important to note what is being broadcasted on television because
of how much influence it has on the youth. It has become the dominant storyteller in homes rather

Tim O Brien s How To Tell A True War Story
The Things They Carried is a book written by Tim O Brien. It features many different stories
from many different people who fought or participated in the Vietnam War. There are two
particular stories, How to Tell a True War Story and Sweetheart of the Song Tra Bong, that stand
out because they use surrealism. Surrealism is the word to describe what most people may
perceive as unreal . These stories use surrealism by creating elements in the story that almost sound
impossible, but the author insists that they are true. Throughout the story, we are constantly asking
what is real and not real. But, if we use examples from the book, it may be easier to define what is
real and unreal.
How to Tell a True War Story is one of these two stories... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
They both follow the rules of a true war story, not having morals and not being an uplifting story,
and they sound almost believable. Yet, another rule of telling a true war story is that the story
must be unbelievable in order for it to be true. So, going by this logic, the stories in How to Tell
a True War Story must all be untrue or greatly exaggerated, and the Sweetheart of the Song Tra
Bong is mostly true. The reason for why How to Tell a True War Story is not true is because that
many of the stories, including the story of Curt Lemon and the signing mountains, are just too
believable to be true war stories. Neither of them have a moral, one of the rules for a TRUE war
story is that they must sound unbelievable, and these two stories are much too normal for them to
be a true war story. Although the stories in the chapter How to Tell a True War Story may not be
completely true, they could be a collection of exaggerated stories that the author Tim O Brien heard
about while he was in Vietnam. Sweetheart of the Song Tra Bong on the other hand, has all the
elements of a true war story . It does not have an easily discernible moral, isn t uplifting, nor
suggest model of proper human behavior, and is crazy enough to be true. Although some parts
may be exaggerated for effect. For example, the leopard head in the Greenie s hut. It can easily
agreed upon that this story may be an actual war

Pornography and Censorship
Should the government be allowed to legitimately prohibit citizens from publishing or viewing
pornography, or would this be an unjustified violation of basic freedoms?
Traditionally, liberals defended the freedom of consenting adults to publish and consume
pornography in private from moral and religious conservatives who wanted pornography banned for
its obscenity, its corrupting impact on consumers and its corrosive effect on traditional family and
religious values. But, in more recent times, the pornography debate has taken on a somewhat new

Other sexually explicit representations depict acts of violent coercion: people being bound,
whipped, beaten, tortured, penetrated by objects, mutilated, raped and even killed. Some sexually
explicit material may be degrading, without necessarily being overtly violent. This material depicts
people (most often women) in positions of servility and subordination in their sexual relations with
others, or engaged in sexual acts that many people would regard as humiliating. Some sexually
explicit material involves or depicts children. Some portrays bestiality and necrophilia; and so on.
On the first definition of pornography as sexually explicit material, all such material would count
as pornography, insofar as it is sexually explicit. But this simple definition is not quite right.
Anatomy textbooks for medical students are sexually explicit they depict exposed genitalia, for
example but are rarely, if ever, viewed as pornography. Sexual explicitness may be a necessary
condition for material to count as pornographic, but it does not seem to be sufficient. So something
needs to be added to the simple definition. What else might be required?
Here is a second definition. Pornography is sexually explicit material (verbal or pictorial) that is
primarily designed to produce sexual arousal in viewers. This definition is better: it deals with the
problem of anatomy textbooks and the like. Indeed, this

Enroute to Darwin the airliner flies over the Philippines, Indonesia and much of the Indian Ocean.
The flight is around 2300 nautical miles (4300km) and in the Airbus A320 travelling at
approximately 430kt (800km/hr) it will take five hours and twenty minutes.
ITCZ:
This flight travels straight through the Inter Tropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ). This is a belt of
low pressure where the northeast and southeast tradewinds meet, pushing air upwards. It is
situated around the equator but moves seasonally following the suns zenith point. The ITCZ
appears as a belt of clouds, which is responsible for the wet and dry season in the tropics. This area
is also known for its strong convective weather. Any aircrew that is travelling through this region
needs to be aware of the conditions associated with ITCZ and the relative tradewinds as it can
jeopardize the safety of the aircraft.
An active ITCZ has strong tradewinds causing solid lines of active Cumulonimbus (Cb) with other
types of clouds at higher levels. Due to the instability and predominantly vertical movement of air
the cloud development can be extreme with the tops reaching up to 55,000ft and can be some
300nm wide. At this scale it is hard to avoid the clouds and determining whether the ITCZ is in
an active or inactive stage is hard as they develop and decay reasonably quickly. Not only will there
be large cloud formation but it will also be fairly saturated especially when over oceanic regions.

My Passion For Art
I remember from the mere age of three, I would sit next to my mother in the living room corner
as she painted. Several of my mother s finished paintings decorated the walls of our apartment
and paint bottles were scattered around the ground, as if hastily tossed aside while my mother
was in search for the right color. The long, thin frame of the wooden easel matched my mother s
slender figure, as her arm moved gracefully across the blank white canvas, filling in patches with
color. I stared at the movements of my mother s paintbrush in wonder, in awe of the beauty such
a seemingly insignificant bristle could create. My mother seemed so happy, so filled with life.
After watching my mother in a world of her own, I would eagerly pull out the sketchbook my
parents had bought me and attempt to create my own masterpiece of scribbles and circles and
lines. As I grew up, and I could finally touch the top of the refrigerator without jumping, my
interest in art bloomed into a newfound passion. But as my passion for art grew, so did my
perfectionism. Perhaps my endeavor to become better and better in my talent led to
implementing higher, unreachable standards. Especially through my middle school years, my art
projects seemed to become more and more demanding. I was hesitant to even begin my work in
fear of failure. Whenever I approached a new piece of work, I would sit down at my desk, grip my

Jean Baudrillard Research Paper
The Human mind is a very intriguing thing that develops plenty of ideas that sometimes may
only occur to brilliant thinkers such as Jean Baudrillard. Baudrillard s theory is that due to the
media repeatedly altering reality we have lost touch with what is real and what is not,
presuming that the media conveys one reality and developing on it which will conclude to the
viewers losing touch with the reality and having a hyper reality produced on a reoccurring a
cycle on the hyper reality created by the media itself and hence the world would be living in the
hyper reality created by the media for its viewers these theories are referred to as simulation and
simulacra. This essay will discuss this theory in depth and how this distinction relates... Show more

the third order of simulacra, which is associated with the postmodern age, we are confronted with a
precession of simulacra; that is, the representation precedes and determines the real. There is no

Conflict In Freaks And Geeks
Freaks and Geeks is a show about the conflict s and pressure s of growing up. In this series the
teens face a number of conflicts such as trying to fit in, parental control, and peer pressure. Lots
of teenagers including myself have faced some of these problems. Everyone deals with some
kind of conflict while growing up it just depends on how you decide to deal with it and make the
best of it. This allows me to tell you how I and other teens have faced and dealt with some of the
same problems that is shown on Freaks and Geeks.
The first conflict that they were faced with in Freaks and Geeks was trying to fit in. I use to try
to do things like a certain group of people such as wear the same clothes or shoes to try to fit in.
In the show, Lindsay tried to fit in by riding around with the Freaks on Halloween destroying
people s Halloween decorations and hitting mailboxes with a baseball bat to get them to like her

cases where they don t agree with their parents because they feel like they are trying to control
them too much. Nick s dad was going to make him go to the military if he could not make it as a

Sexual Harassment Policy
A workplace sexual harassment policy is a written policy to provide employees as well as
managers, with a workplace that is free from sexual harassment. It is designed to prevent the
recurrence of sexual harassment and to provide information on what sexual harassment is. The
policy gives the employees and victims the information needed to know how to file a claim. It also
gives the perpetrator information and understanding of just how serious sexual harassmentin the

It is a serious offence and it is our job as human relations professionals to remain impartial and
follow the proper steps to investigate the incident or better yet prevent it from happening in the

to light and while doing so, express harsh disapproval of it. Additionally they should develop
applicable sanctions and notifying employees that they have the right to raise the issue of
harassment and how to educate the employees on the issue of harassment under Title VII.
Furthermore, the managers and supervisors should always be aware of the work environment and
the possible difficulties of sexual harassment in their company. They must also lead by example by
emulating a zero tolerance behavior, making a clear communication to the employees of the

The Mexican Peso Crisis Essay
The Mexican Peso Crisis
This paper argues that the Mexican peso crisis of December 20 should have been expected and
foreseeable. In the year preceding the crisis, there were several indicators suggesting that the
Mexican economy and peso were already under extreme pressure. The economy bubble was
ballooning to burst so much so that it was simply a crisis waiting to happen.
Evidences Signaling the Crisis
1. Decreasing Current Account Deficit versus Increasing Capital Account Balance
Mexico was running an increasing current account deficit from US$7.5 billion in 1990 to US$23.4
billion in 1993. This indicates an excess of private investing over private savings. However, the
country was able to maintain an improving fiscal ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Colosio.
To counter the impact of federal fund rate increase on peso, Mexican government raised the
domestic interest rate by selling more short term government bonds. The interest rate for peso
denominated cetes rose to 15.79% in April 1994 and increased to 17.07% in July 1994.
However, in the second half of 1994, the Mexican government started to reduce the interest rate,
contrary to the federal fund rate. Also, more of dollar denominated tesobonos were issued
aggressively instead of peso denominated cetes. This was likely due to investors being more
willing to hold tesobonos as they will be covered against the risks of devaluation and also lower
interest rate for tesobonos than cetes. This was an indication that there was a loss in confidence
for peso (i.e. people expected that the peso will devaluate to a point that even the differential in
interest will not be able to cover and so were unwilling to hold on to peso denominated bonds). 4.
Declining Real GDP Growth
The Mexico?s inflation rate was really not in control as promised by the Mexican government.
The Consumer Price Index was on the rise and real GDP growth has declined from 4.5% in 1990
to 0.6% in 1993. This shows that Mexico will experience more rapid inflation than United States
in the coming year. This also means that Mexico peso will lose more value than US dollar during
the year ahead. Hence, there will be an

There are several factors which influence adequate service. These elements are perceived service
alternatives, situational factors, and predicted service. Perceived service alternatives are defined as
other providers from whom the customer can obtain service (Zeithaml et. al., 2013, p.59). If
customers have several service providers to select from, or if they can provide the service
themselves, then their levels of adequate service are greater than those who believe it is not
possible to get superior service in another place (p.59). Situational factors may be divided into two
categories; uncontrollable situational factors and personal situational factors. Uncontrollable
situational factors are service performance conditions that are beyond the service provider. For
example, forces of nature such as a tornado or hurricane may affect a service provider in certain
geographic areas. Customers may be more willing to accept a delay in service due to the effects if
the natural disaster. Situational factors often lower the level of adequate service, widening the
zone of tolerance (Zeithaml et. al., 2013, p.61). Personal situational factors are often short term
factors which make customers aware of the need for services. Emergency situations, such as a flat
tire may in turn raise the level of adequate service expectations, since the customer is looking for a
prompt solution

Bram Stoker s Foul Things Of The Night
With the creation of Stoker s vampire, his book enters into Gothic literature. Dracula was not the
first of the Gothic genre, but was a standout feature in it. Gothic literature focuses on mystery and
horror and a lot of time supernatural elements. Gothic literature was big in Stoker s life according
to Nicole Lobdell s article, Stoker the Victorian Gothic Stage , Stoker loved Gothic plays, sensation
melodramas, and vampiremelodramas. Lobdell states He interprets the causes and effects of
melodramatic performances and translates those elements into his fiction (Lobdell 273). In Dracula,

During the ninetieth century, the Victorians debate over women s behavior. In Jennifer Swartz
Levine s article Staking Salvation: The Reclamation of the Monstrous Female in Dracula she
comments about The concept of the Angel in the House the pure, virtuous, non sexualized female
is one of the most monolithic and immobile depictions of Victorian womanhood (Swartz Levine 2).
At the time the belief of following the Victorian society s set limits would be beneficial while
wrongdoers would be punished. Victorians at the time were to believe in women being pure and
non sexual, like Stoker s character Mina Harker. When characters like Lucy and the other three
female vampires act apart from Mina, morals come into question. However, Stoker feeds into the
fear of contamination and punishments because he sets female sexuality apart from femininity in
order to show female sexuality as wrong or monstrous. He portrays the standard Englishwomen as
non sexual and anything different deviant or unnatural. In the beginning of the novel when the
vampire is trying to seduce Johnathan he says he seemed to know her face, and to know in
connections with some dreamy fear, but could not recollect at the moment how or where (Stoker
38). After this passage he mentions Mina, making the reader draw the connection that he knows the
familiar female face because of his fiancГ©. Jonathan in the quote states the interaction

Realist And Unreal Elements In Jane Eyre
Analyse the interaction between realist and unreal elements in the text. What role do fantasy,
fairytale or gothic aesthetics play?
Name: Eoghan O NeillStudent Number:14301396
One might be quick to categorise Jane Eyre as a supernatural novel at first glance and perhaps if
they read into it a little more might decide that it is in fact a realist novel. There are many events in
the book to be explored however before we can say for sure it is one or the other. These are used
to advance the action, to keep the reader engaged and hungry for more and to foreshadow future
happenings. To fully grasp Jane Eyreand where it lays on the realist/unreal spectrum these events
must be analysed looking at the aesthetics they employ, may that be gothic, fairytale or fantasy, as
well as what affect they have on the novel and its characters and most ... Show more content on

Besides Rochester s infatuation we see other references to Jane as a supernatural creature. In the
Red Room when she passes the looking glass we see her comment on the strange little figure
there gazing at me, with a white face and arms specking the gloom, and glittering eyes of fear
moving where all else was still... . This seems to be a subconscious understanding in young Jane
that she is not the same as those around her and indeed as an orphan with no money this is
certainly the case. The Vampyre Bertha and the Spirit Jane are two heads of the same coin and
Bronte uses fantasy and fairytale to show this to us. Furthermore this connection could be
interpreted as subtle foreshadowing for the emergence of Bertha that may only be caught on a
second read. A less subtle form of foreshadowing is seen at the moment Rochester proposes to Jane.

seems to be foretold by the Horse Chestnut in the orchard which half of split

Cahokia Research Paper
Starting in AD 800 and hitting its peak from 1050 1200 AD, Cahokia covered six square miles
with a population between 10,000 and 20,000 people (Jarus 1). During their 500 years, the
Cahokians developed America s first city and arguably the greatest civilization of its time, and then
seemingly disappeared without a trace. But, despite Cahokias disappearance, a significant amount of
history was left behind through earthen mounds, evolved social structures, advanced cultural
practices, and Cahokia s unexplained demise.
8000 500 BC was known as the Archaic period. During this period, mound building was a very
common custom. Many of the mounds were built to elevate the village s central ritual sites. The

Mound rose 100 feet and was composed of more than 22 million cubic feet of soil (Hodges 4). The
mound had four terraces and it covered about 17 acres. There also may have been a temple at the
top of the mound for worships (Jarus 7). According to Jarus, Monks Mound, along with a grand

Both Of The Articles I Choose Link Very Closely With One
Both of the articles I choose link very closely with one of the themes we covered in class.
Sustainable planning and green cities. This is a topic I found especially interesting, being from
the Portland area it s something I have been exposed too, but also sustainable development is a
career path I have become interested in. The first article is about the Pearl District in Portland.
Although we watched a quick clip about it I wanted to learn more about how and why the planning
and implementation is so contemporary. According to chapter 11 of Yin, Portland s Pearl District
has taken many of the right steps toward planning for a sustainable city. It has followed the 3 pillars
of sustainabilitywhich are Environment, Economy and Equity.... Show more content on

These open spaces have natural wildlife habits and show respect to the ecologic responsibility.
Lastly is housing, this I tended to disagree with for the most part. Although the Pearl did develop
mostly mixed use, and multifamily housing the price range is pretty ridiculous. In the PBS
video we watching in class, Rick Gustafson says that 22% of the housing is for low income
tenants, if this is true those apartments must be almost impossible to find. I know personally that
the Pearl District is one of the most expensive places to live in Portland. I don t necessarily think
this is wrong or immoral or that there is social injustice, but the idea that the Pearl District is
affordable for many young people is far fetched. This would be one of the very few ways that the
Pearl District does not match Yin s guidelines for a sustainable city.
The second article is about a town in Sweden that decided to go all out for a eco friendly
sustainable town. Much like the Pearl District, Hammarby Sjöstad was built in an old unused
industrial area of Stockholm. This city, which is home to about 20,000 residents used many of the
same techniques that Yin pointed out, just as the Pearl did. One major highlight of Hammarby
Sjostad is its waste recycling and sorting process. The city uses underground shoots to take waste
from each building and sends it to a main location where the waste is sorted. Some can be recycled
and reused, while other bits are burned and used to heat homes

How To Build A Computer
How I got interested in computers was when I got my very first one when I was sort of young
around eight or nine. It wasn t the best computer out at the time, but it was still a computer that
made me so attached to and fascinated with the technology that makes up computers. When I
started using computers, I would use them to play games and all sorts of stuff, but now that I
have my own computer that I built and paid for I can do anything with it, and it cost me around
one thousand and five hundred and sixty dollars. I use it to mostly play games, but I use it for school
work and browsing the internet.
I already know the basics and a lot about computers. I know how to build them. When it comes to
building a computer, people usually feel overwhelmed so they usually take it to a store and pay a
certain amount to have the person working their to build it for them, but I built my computer
without any help, and it was probably one of the most amazing experiences I have ever had, along
with the feeling of accomplishment. More than likely, I will never forget building my first

Alfred J Prufrock
The Love Song of Alfred J. Prufrock by T. S. Eliot is an excellent short poem about a man
reflecting back on his life and realizing that he is alone and might possibly die alone. Eliot uses a
variety of symbols, metaphors, and great diction to convey that Prufrock is unsatisfied with his
life, especially his love life. Eliot depicts Prufrock as an older man reflecting back on his life,
metaphorically, going through a midlife crisis. I grow old... I grow old.../I shall wear the
bottoms of my trousers rolled, by this Eliot is getting the reader to visualize as a person grows
older, they grow shorter (120 121). Along with growing shorter Eliot also describes the
significant balding of an old man With a bald spot in the middle of my hair / (they will say: How
his hair is growing thin! ) (40 41). These two lines alone are showing that Prufrock is very
insecure and self conscious with how he looks. Prufrock even goes as far as asking himself,
Shall I part my hair behind? (122) Eliot is trying to show the reader that Prufrock wants to look
his best for the intelligent ladies by wearing My morning coat, my collar mounting firmly to the
chin,/My necktie rich and modest, but asserted by a simple pin and combing what hair he does
have over his balding scalp (42 43). He is dressing to impress the women that come and go/Talking

My Favorite Villain In The Legend Of Zelda
Who is your favorite villain? Maybe it s the evil Darth Vader, killing his own people in his
conquest, or Sauron, who is rarely seen but sends his armies off to stop Frodo. All villains have
something in common, they are a character in a story or play who opposes the hero (Merriam
Webster). This is especially true in video games, where most of the story is driven by the villain.
The Legend of Zelda, a popular game franchise, has had many villains in its time. Lord Vaati is
the most well written and well developed villain in the Zelda series. He appears in the series
multiple times and never fails to get the player interested. Lord Vaati is one of two recurring
villains in the Legend of Zeldaseries. He is first seen in Four Swords, but we are given more
backstory about him in Minish Cap. In Minish Cap, Vaati is trying to become the most powerful
magician, and tries to take over Hyrule in his quest for more power. He searches for an ancient
artifact known as the Light Force, which would give him ultimate power. In the end he is defeated
by the hero, Link, and is sealed away in a sword to return in later games, (Miyamoto). Every great
villain needs a goal, a motive, to drive him/her to commit their evil deeds. As stated in the article
What Makes a Good Villain , Villains, too, should also have understandable goals. Furthermore,
these goals should be rooted in that villain s psychology. (The Nook Press Blog). Vaati is no

  • 4. John Augustine s Confessing And Recounting Moments Saint Augustine, also known as Augustine of Hippo, was born on 354 AD in a North African county in present day Algeria. Throughout of his life, Augustine has endured a lot of hard ships and lessons that he wanted to share with others. He decided in 397 AD to compose an autobiographical book confessing and recounting moments in his life. Confessions by Saint Augustine are a 13 book series comprised of Augustine s life and how he became to be one of the most important priests during his time. During Book I, Augustine recalls his childhood and how it was like growing up and turning into a young man. He begins his book in an opening prayer, praising his lord and raises the question how can we see God if we do not know who he is. He mentions how anything that exists and creation contains God because he created the Earth. This answers to the question answers how Augustine found God in a sense that, he saw others around him and believed that God was present in everything he has done. An example given in his book is how the comforts of human milk were waiting for him, but God gave him the milk in his mother s breast to nourish him. This is in accordance to the plan of creation. He later recalls his and other babies experience with crying and pouting for the milk. Augustine believes that babies are not innocent because the get jealous and sin. • 5. Colonialism In Africa By the 1960, most of Africa had become independent from colonial powers who reluctantly gave them freedom after wars that were gory and unpleasant. Africa had started to build or put together a government that could hopefully unify the country. African had presidents, dictators, etc. But did Africa ever really gain independence? Based on who you ask, you will get an answer that can be separated into different groups, one group will tell you yes and others will say no. At the end of colonialismthere was never a shift in society in Africa. If you look at the current GDP of most African countries, the growth of the economy, and then peer at the amount of debt they owe to the world bank then one can see that things have not changed since the end of colonialism. Africa shifted from colonialism to post colonialism, however Europe never left Africa formally. And Africa never really pushed for them to leave due to the structure of colonialism. For instance, when Congo had gained political independence from Belgium, there were only 16 college graduates in the whole country. Colonialism underdeveloped Africa, many of the people in Africa never gained an education. In addition, country lines were created in order for colonial powers to be able to exert control over a group of people that it had just defeated. Before colonialism, Africans had city states as opposed to nation states. The economy in Africa was primarily based on trade between people in the community. Consequently, when ... • 6. The Eyes And The Gaze Of The Male Psyche The word Gaze can be defined as: to look steadily and intently, as with great curiosity, interest, pleasure, or wonder. When using this definition in a theatrical sense it is imperative to determine who is the one gazing and who is being gazed at. In the instance of David Bowie and Enter Achilles the gaze and subsequent objectification varies due to the performers wished effect. For instance they each use techniques to garner their desired gaze from the audience through the use of clothing and semiotics. Both examples have interesting undertones of sexuality in relation to their objectification from the audience members. Stereotypically, the male gaze has connotations of men staring and objectifying women but the two examples create a way for themselves to be gazed upon as opposed to being the one who gazes. After premiering in 1995 DV8 s performance of Enter Achilles was proclaimed A funny, cruel exploration of the male psyche (DV8 website). This performance aims to challenge the stereotypical characteristics of what it takes to be an alpha male set against the backdrop of the 90s lad culture . The performance creates a sense of power that males possess before pushing this to the point of parody, thus, exposing the male weakness. This is shown through the pack mentality that many of the male characters have. Throughout the performance it is rare to see a male character who is on their own for a length of time. DV8 show this mentality through strength in numbers that ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Or again when Napoleon s troops scored a victory against Egypt s military rulers, the Mamluks, at the Battle of the Pyramids in July 1798. This was a major blow to British supply routes and a great victory for France, and especially Napoleon. He was able to acquire direct control over an important and profitable trade route. This is very important as not only did these conquests display Napoleon s capabilities and prepare him and his army for the coup as well as the Napoleonic wars that would soon follow, but it also earned him more and more political and military power with each battle he won. It also granted him resources and territory from which to stage his coup and seizure of power. He used his conquered territories in Italy to fund his military campaigns and his acquired trade routes to facilitate the influx of power and wealth into his newly conquered territories. Taking territory also allowed him to establish his own regional governments. In 1797, he defeated the Italians and the Austrians and created his puppet government of the Cispadane Republic. He did similarly with his conquest of the so called low countries, which ended with his victory and the treaty of Campo Formio. This is a very pivotal point in Napoleon s rise to power as it is the first instance of a territory that was completely conquered ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Immigrants cross the border everyday. Americans think that they just walk over , no big deal. You never hear the real story; you never hear how they are treated. Once they actually get across, they get to live like they deserve, lavishly, right? That s far from the truth. Arnie Plagiarism Hi Everyone, Regarding the College Paper Case Study, I have to say that Reggie and Arnie share almost the same amount of responsibility, they were both committing plagiarisms. Furthermore, I think that Arnie was more guilty because he was ought not just to warn Reggie about the consequences, but also he was responsible for reporting Reggie s behavior as stated in the UoPeople Course Catalog (2017), Students encountering suspected cases of cheating should discreetly report the violator to their Course Instructor (p. 139). What do I think about plagiarism? well, it is definitely a problem which is present in many aspects of our life these days. For example, in my field of work, I have seen programmers delivered solutions that they don t even understand or are capable of improving, simply because what they did was just to copy and paste their code from a forum. You may argue that it is code, and it could look really similar one to another, but the truth is that code means ideas, and those could also be plagiarised. Sadly this is a problem which is not getting any better, especially nowadays where people are able to copy images, music, and videos from any source through the internet basically without any effort. ... The estimated cycle time of each product is twenty one days from beginning of production to distribution to customer. Focusing on the production of five mugs per shift and running one shift per day during a five day work week might result in a bottleneck during the firing phase of production. This could happen because the potter can produce more mugs per week than can be fired in one kiln firing. The kiln can hold three shelves of four mugs for a total of twelve ... According to Vorne, The Theory of Constraints is a methodology for identifying the most important limiting factor (i.e. constraint) that stands in the way of achieving a goal and then systematically improving that constraint until it is no longer the limiting factor. In manufacturing, the constraint is often referred to as a bottleneck (2016). As the WIP collects on inventory shelves, there is greater evidence that the kiln firing process is a bottleneck for production. This constraint in the process could be alleviated by adding an additional kiln to the firm. Anjoran stated, One way to reduce the impact of bottlenecks is to Adding capacity by increasing resources (men, machines...) this is often done best with inexpensive, low tech, low complexity equipment that will be down less often than a complex, high tech solution (2016). In the case of Angel Pottery, the purchase of a second kiln (low tech resource) could help to alleviate the bottleneck that exists due to limited space kiln space. Lean management could be applied to increase productivity and improve cycle times. With the constraint of firing space alleviated by capital expenditure on a second kiln, pull from the customer or demand will drive production. • 15. The Effects Of Raising The Minimum Wage The Negative Impacts of Raising the Minimum Wage While the debate over the effects of raising the minimum wage continues, there are countless studies and statistical data to support both sides of this controversy. Often the negative impacts of these wage increases are overshadowed by those who want to help the working class who live at or below the poverty level. Do these increases actually help the ones that they were intended to help? What are the negative impacts on the rest of the working class? How do these increases affect small business, unskilled laborers and overall unemployment? Originally enacted in the 1930s to ensure fair wages for all those employed, today the minimum wage rarely benefits those it was designed to help. Increasing the minimum wage has been shown to have many negative impacts such as reducing entry level non skilled positions, increased unemployment, and has been shown to be a key factor in increasing inflation. Surprisingly, the minimum wage does very little to help the workers it was intended to help. Data from the Bureau of Labor (2014) shows that only 4.3% out of the 75.9 million hourly paid employees earned at or below the Federal Minimum wage of $7.25 an hour with just over half of those earning less than that due to working in jobs that are exempt such as disabled workers, tipped employees, and full time students. While in Native Son, Wright studies someone oppressed and downtrodden beneath society, Faulkner looks at a family of outsiders cast far away from a common community in As I Lay Dying. For both, a central question becomes the function of their characters minds in relation to one another, and to reality. Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... This gap between what Bigger understands about himself and what the narrative voice can comprehend creates dramatic irony, especially when Bigger is confronted with Jan and Mary s inexplicably friendly behavior. Wright s descriptions of Jan and Mary make their good intentions clear to all but Bigger, and therefore sets up an unequal relationship between Bigger and the reader. He is now at the mercy not only of his own impulses, his employer s wishes, and the law of white society, but also of Wright and his audience. The vertical consciousness that allows us to see so clearly what Bigger cannot, supports the deterministic trap that Wright has set for him. His environment has saddled him with unsatisfied urges, and now Wright has made him the victim of chance. In Mary s claim that she wants to see how black people live in Chicago, Bigger experiences the deep sense of exclusion that Wright describes in How Bigger Was Born (518). Then, in seeing Mary s white robed mother at her bedroom door, he encounters the corresponding feeling of looking at things with a painful and unwarrantable nakedness, the understanding of his total vulnerability, which forces him to kill Mary (518). His fate is sealed. This occurs to Roald Dahl in Going Solo. On his trip to different places to work for the Shell Company, he meets two rather odd people. One who likes to run around the deck naked with his wife. And another one who finds fingers and toes disgusting. (The Voyage Out, 64). Both of these two people meet Dahl on his trip. Dahl thinks they re both different in sense of he doesn t have the same impression for both of them. Major Griffiths had a black moustache and had spent thirty six years in India, and was going there again (The Voyage Out, 9). Major Griffiths was quite odd. One day, Dahl was looking out of his port hole when all of a sudden, he saw someone naked run by. At first, he thought it was a ghost, but as soon as the ghost ran by again, Dahl recognized him as Major Griffiths. (The Voyage Out, 7 8). Dahl found this weird and strange, but at the same time, he was jealous of the Major. Dahl wished he had the courage to go out there and run around naked around the deck without worrying about what people thought about him. They wrapped the heart and liver in leaves and roasted them. Body parts such as nails, hair, and genitals were thrown to the fire since they were considered inedible. The ideal during this mortuary practice was for all the flesh, heart, liver, and brains to be eaten. In this restaurant I observed elements of folk and popular culture which included the music that was playing there, which was mariachi band music which made the place feel more authentic to Mexico. The music from the mariachi band was a piece of their folk culture they had, because they used violins, trumpets, guitarron a spanish guitar used in most Spanish music, and a vihuela a five stringed guitar with a high pitch. Some of the popular culturethat was there was the outfits the servers were wearing which was a plain old t shirt and some black pants, and it was more popular culture because nowadays servers wear a shirt and pants that match what the theme or idea of the restaurant is. I categorized the mariachi band as part of the folk culture because the instruments that they were using were traditional instruments used in Mexico to produce the Spanish sound. The servers outfits I categorized as popular culture because of the fact that servers in many restaurants nowadays wear the same clothing that is casual, making it an element of popular culture. In my opinion I think that the folk elements are seen around but not practiced in everything that is in the restaurant, due to the exposure to the popular culture of our world. Some of the material I truly enjoyed and some of it not so much. I really enjoyed the Native American literature that we started out with in the beginning of the semester. I think the Native Americans are beautiful people who appreciated the land more than most. The Native Americans were smart people who used short stories such as The Chief s Daughters and Coyote and Bear to warn their readers of dangers or teach them moral lessons. I also enjoyed authors such as Edward Taylor, Anne Bradstreet, and Thomas Paine. I did not like reading William Byrd s material, chiefly because he was rude and spoke nastily of the Native Americans. It personally offended me that he thought their belief of afterlife to be gross and sensual . Both of these authors are Puritans, and it is easy to tell when reading their pieces. Puritans typically write in simple language, and always refer to God. Edward Taylor created a powerful analogy in his piece, Upon a Spider Catching a Fly. The analogy that he describes is an analogy between people and Satan. • 34. Tim O Brien s How To Tell A True War Story The Things They Carried is a book written by Tim O Brien. It features many different stories from many different people who fought or participated in the Vietnam War. There are two particular stories, How to Tell a True War Story and Sweetheart of the Song Tra Bong, that stand out because they use surrealism. Surrealism is the word to describe what most people may perceive as unreal . These stories use surrealism by creating elements in the story that almost sound impossible, but the author insists that they are true. Throughout the story, we are constantly asking what is real and not real. But, if we use examples from the book, it may be easier to define what is real and unreal. How to Tell a True War Story is one of these two stories... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... They both follow the rules of a true war story, not having morals and not being an uplifting story, and they sound almost believable. Yet, another rule of telling a true war story is that the story must be unbelievable in order for it to be true. So, going by this logic, the stories in How to Tell a True War Story must all be untrue or greatly exaggerated, and the Sweetheart of the Song Tra Bong is mostly true. The reason for why How to Tell a True War Story is not true is because that many of the stories, including the story of Curt Lemon and the signing mountains, are just too believable to be true war stories. Neither of them have a moral, one of the rules for a TRUE war story is that they must sound unbelievable, and these two stories are much too normal for them to be a true war story. Although the stories in the chapter How to Tell a True War Story may not be completely true, they could be a collection of exaggerated stories that the author Tim O Brien heard about while he was in Vietnam. Sweetheart of the Song Tra Bong on the other hand, has all the elements of a true war story . It does not have an easily discernible moral, isn t uplifting, nor suggest model of proper human behavior, and is crazy enough to be true. Although some parts may be exaggerated for effect. Porn and Censorship Pornography and Censorship Should the government be allowed to legitimately prohibit citizens from publishing or viewing pornography, or would this be an unjustified violation of basic freedoms? Traditionally, liberals defended the freedom of consenting adults to publish and consume pornography in private from moral and religious conservatives who wanted pornography banned for its obscenity, its corrupting impact on consumers and its corrosive effect on traditional family and religious values. But, in more recent times, the pornography debate has taken on a somewhat new and surprising shape. Other sexually explicit representations depict acts of violent coercion: people being bound, whipped, beaten, tortured, penetrated by objects, mutilated, raped and even killed. Some sexually explicit material may be degrading, without necessarily being overtly violent. This material depicts people (most often women) in positions of servility and subordination in their sexual relations with others, or engaged in sexual acts that many people would regard as humiliating. Some sexually explicit material involves or depicts children. Some portrays bestiality and necrophilia; and so on. On the first definition of pornography as sexually explicit material, all such material would count as pornography, insofar as it is sexually explicit. But this simple definition is not quite right. Anatomy textbooks for medical students are sexually explicit they depict exposed genitalia, for example but are rarely, if ever, viewed as pornography. Sexual explicitness may be a necessary condition for material to count as pornographic, but it does not seem to be sufficient. So something needs to be added to the simple definition. What else might be required? Here is a second definition. Pornography is sexually explicit material (verbal or pictorial) that is primarily designed to produce sexual arousal in viewers. This definition is better: it deals with the problem of anatomy textbooks and the like. Indeed, this ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The flight is around 2300 nautical miles (4300km) and in the Airbus A320 travelling at approximately 430kt (800km/hr) it will take five hours and twenty minutes. ITCZ: This flight travels straight through the Inter Tropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ). This is a belt of low pressure where the northeast and southeast tradewinds meet, pushing air upwards. It is situated around the equator but moves seasonally following the suns zenith point. The ITCZ appears as a belt of clouds, which is responsible for the wet and dry season in the tropics. This area is also known for its strong convective weather. Any aircrew that is travelling through this region needs to be aware of the conditions associated with ITCZ and the relative tradewinds as it can jeopardize the safety of the aircraft. An active ITCZ has strong tradewinds causing solid lines of active Cumulonimbus (Cb) with other types of clouds at higher levels. Due to the instability and predominantly vertical movement of air the cloud development can be extreme with the tops reaching up to 55,000ft and can be some 300nm wide. At this scale it is hard to avoid the clouds and determining whether the ITCZ is in an active or inactive stage is hard as they develop and decay reasonably quickly. • 38. My Passion For Art I remember from the mere age of three, I would sit next to my mother in the living room corner as she painted. Several of my mother s finished paintings decorated the walls of our apartment and paint bottles were scattered around the ground, as if hastily tossed aside while my mother was in search for the right color. The long, thin frame of the wooden easel matched my mother s slender figure, as her arm moved gracefully across the blank white canvas, filling in patches with color. I stared at the movements of my mother s paintbrush in wonder, in awe of the beauty such a seemingly insignificant bristle could create. My mother seemed so happy, so filled with life. After watching my mother in a world of her own, I would eagerly pull out the sketchbook my parents had bought me and attempt to create my own masterpiece of scribbles and circles and lines. As I grew up, and I could finally touch the top of the refrigerator without jumping, my interest in art bloomed into a newfound passion. But as my passion for art grew, so did my perfectionism. Perhaps my endeavor to become better and better in my talent led to implementing higher, unreachable standards. Especially through my middle school years, my art projects seemed to become more and more demanding. I was hesitant to even begin my work in fear of failure. Decreasing Current Account Deficit versus Increasing Capital Account Balance Mexico was running an increasing current account deficit from US$7.5 billion in 1990 to US$23.4 billion in 1993. The interest rate for peso denominated cetes rose to 15.79% in April 1994 and increased to 17.07% in July 1994. However, in the second half of 1994, the Mexican government started to reduce the interest rate, contrary to the federal fund rate. Also, more of dollar denominated tesobonos were issued aggressively instead of peso denominated cetes. This was likely due to investors being more willing to hold tesobonos as they will be covered against the risks of devaluation and also lower interest rate for tesobonos than cetes. This was an indication that there was a loss in confidence for peso (i.e. people expected that the peso will devaluate to a point that even the differential in interest will not be able to cover and so were unwilling to hold on to peso denominated bonds). 4. Declining Real GDP Growth The Mexico?s inflation rate was really not in control as promised by the Mexican government. The Consumer Price Index was on the rise and real GDP growth has declined from 4.5% in 1990 to 0.6% in 1993. Perceived service alternatives are defined as other providers from whom the customer can obtain service (Zeithaml et. al., 2013, p.59). If customers have several service providers to select from, or if they can provide the service themselves, then their levels of adequate service are greater than those who believe it is not possible to get superior service in another place (p.59). Situational factors may be divided into two categories; uncontrollable situational factors and personal situational factors. Uncontrollable situational factors are service performance conditions that are beyond the service provider. For example, forces of nature such as a tornado or hurricane may affect a service provider in certain geographic areas. Customers may be more willing to accept a delay in service due to the effects if the natural disaster. In Jennifer Swartz Levine s article Staking Salvation: The Reclamation of the Monstrous Female in Dracula she comments about The concept of the Angel in the House the pure, virtuous, non sexualized female is one of the most monolithic and immobile depictions of Victorian womanhood (Swartz Levine 2). At the time the belief of following the Victorian society s set limits would be beneficial while wrongdoers would be punished. Victorians at the time were to believe in women being pure and non sexual, like Stoker s character Mina Harker. When characters like Lucy and the other three female vampires act apart from Mina, morals come into question. However, Stoker feeds into the fear of contamination and punishments because he sets female sexuality apart from femininity in order to show female sexuality as wrong or monstrous. He portrays the standard Englishwomen as non sexual and anything different deviant or unnatural. In the beginning of the novel when the vampire is trying to seduce Johnathan he says he seemed to know her face, and to know in connections with some dreamy fear, but could not recollect at the moment how or where (Stoker 38). According to Jarus, Monks Mound, along with a grand plaza and a group of smaller mounds, was walled in with a 2 mile long wooden palisade ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 51. Both Of The Articles I Choose Link Very Closely With One Both of the articles I choose link very closely with one of the themes we covered in class. Sustainable planning and green cities. This is a topic I found especially interesting, being from the Portland area it s something I have been exposed too, but also sustainable development is a career path I have become interested in. The first article is about the Pearl District in Portland. Although we watched a quick clip about it I wanted to learn more about how and why the planning and implementation is so contemporary. According to chapter 11 of Yin, Portland s Pearl District has taken many of the right steps toward planning for a sustainable city. It has followed the 3 pillars of sustainabilitywhich are Environment, Economy and Equity.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... These open spaces have natural wildlife habits and show respect to the ecologic responsibility. Lastly is housing, this I tended to disagree with for the most part. Although the Pearl did develop mostly mixed use, and multifamily housing the price range is pretty ridiculous. In the PBS video we watching in class, Rick Gustafson says that 22% of the housing is for low income tenants, if this is true those apartments must be almost impossible to find. I know personally that the Pearl District is one of the most expensive places to live in Portland. I don t necessarily think this is wrong or immoral or that there is social injustice, but the idea that the Pearl District is affordable for many young people is far fetched. This would be one of the very few ways that the Pearl District does not match Yin s guidelines for a sustainable city. The second article is about a town in Sweden that decided to go all out for a eco friendly sustainable town. Much like the Pearl District, Hammarby SjГ¶stad was built in an old unused industrial area of Stockholm. This city, which is home to about 20,000 residents used many of the same techniques that Yin pointed out, just as the Pearl did. One major highlight of Hammarby Sjostad is its waste recycling and sorting process. The city uses underground shoots to take waste from each building and sends it to a main location where the waste is sorted. Some can be recycled and reused, while other bits are burned and used to heat homes ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 52. How To Build A Computer How I got interested in computers was when I got my very first one when I was sort of young around eight or nine. It wasn t the best computer out at the time, but it was still a computer that made me so attached to and fascinated with the technology that makes up computers. When I started using computers, I would use them to play games and all sorts of stuff, but now that I have my own computer that I built and paid for I can do anything with it, and it cost me around one thousand and five hundred and sixty dollars. I use it to mostly play games, but I use it for school work and browsing the internet. I already know the basics and a lot about computers. I know how to build them. When it comes to building a computer, people usually feel overwhelmed so they usually take it to a store and pay a certain amount to have the person working their to build it for them, but I built my computer without any help, and it was probably one of the most amazing experiences I have ever had, along with the feeling of accomplishment. More than likely, I will never forget building my first computer. So far I only know how to build them, and how to troubleshoot them if something is wrong with one of the ... • 53. Alfred J Prufrock The Love Song of Alfred J. Prufrock by T. S. Eliot is an excellent short poem about a man reflecting back on his life and realizing that he is alone and might possibly die alone. Eliot uses a variety of symbols, metaphors, and great diction to convey that Prufrock is unsatisfied with his life, especially his love life. Eliot depicts Prufrock as an older man reflecting back on his life, metaphorically, going through a midlife crisis. I grow old... I grow old.../I shall wear the bottoms of my trousers rolled, by this Eliot is getting the reader to visualize as a person grows older, they grow shorter (120 121). Along with growing shorter Eliot also describes the significant balding of an old man With a bald spot in the middle of my hair / (they will say: How his hair is growing thin! ) (40 41). These two lines alone are showing that Prufrock is very insecure and self conscious with how he looks. Prufrock even goes as far as asking himself, Shall I part my hair behind? (122) Eliot is trying to show the reader that Prufrock wants to look his best for the intelligent ladies by wearing My morning coat, my collar mounting firmly to the chin,/My necktie rich and modest, but asserted by a simple pin and combing what hair he does have over his balding scalp (42 43). He is dressing to impress the women that come and go/Talking of Michelangelo, the intelligent ladies that he believes will judge him harshly, not the prostitutes that love his company (35 36). • 54. My Favorite Villain In The Legend Of Zelda Who is your favorite villain? Maybe it s the evil Darth Vader, killing his own people in his conquest, or Sauron, who is rarely seen but sends his armies off to stop Frodo. All villains have something in common, they are a character in a story or play who opposes the hero (Merriam Webster). This is especially true in video games, where most of the story is driven by the villain. The Legend of Zelda, a popular game franchise, has had many villains in its time. Lord Vaati is the most well written and well developed villain in the Zelda series. He appears in the series multiple times and never fails to get the player interested. Lord Vaati is one of two recurring villains in the Legend of Zeldaseries. He is first seen in Four Swords, but we are given more backstory about him in Minish Cap. In Minish Cap, Vaati is trying to become the most powerful magician, and tries to take over Hyrule in his quest for more power. He searches for an ancient artifact known as the Light Force, which would give him ultimate power. In the end he is defeated by the hero, Link, and is sealed away in a sword to return in later games, (Miyamoto). Every great villain needs a goal, a motive, to drive him/her to commit their evil deeds. As stated in the article What Makes a Good Villain , Villains, too, should also have understandable goals. Furthermore, these goals should be rooted in that villain s psychology. (The Nook Press Blog). Vaati is no different, he wants to take over Hyrule and find ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 55. Caroline Lee Hoyle Analysis The Sweet Southern Bell My full name is Caroline Lee Hoyle I always get told how my name sounds like a sweet southern bell. Caroline means little womanly one which does not fit me at all. I m a rowdy tomboy who loves getting dirty and being one of the guys. My dad calls me his son Charlie for this reason Charlie means Strong Which fits me a lot better in my opinion. A girl named Caroline to me is a girl who is weak and princess like. She waits for some guy to come along to sweep her off her feet and live happily ever after. That to me is so unrealistic and so old fashioned just like Caroline is. Also, when people think of the name Caroline they always think of the song Sweet Caroline. Which I hate because I grew up like one of the guys ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
