Advantages And Disadvantages Of Bananas
deforestation and unhealthy soil cause erosion, and the runoff causes frequent flooding and
damage from sedimentation. In a 1997 study done off the coast of Costa Rica, it was discovered
that 60 percent of the coral reefs in Cahuita National Park had been severely damaged due to runoff
from coastal bananaplantations (Cohen, 2009). Furthermore, bananas are grown as a mono
culture, where all the bananas on a plantation are genetically identical. Although this makes
crops easy to manage, these bananas face an increased risk of being wiped out by a single type of
pest, fungi or disease, and will all be severely attacked if the pests develop resistance to
pesticides. In order to prevent this from happening even more chemicals are used. It is estimated
that 30 kilograms of pesticides are used per hectare per year on a banana plantation, whereas only
2.7 kilograms are used for the average European cereal crop (Cohen, 2009).
The banana field workers (also called bananeros ), often untrained, and marginalized workers, lack
sufficient precautionary instructions or protective equipments. According to Ivan Clavijos, an ex
conventional banana producer, despite wearing masks, goggles, and gloves, chemical gases can
still get absorbed in the workers clothes, and through sweats will enter the body, blood, and liver
via pores on the skin, producing ammonia in the blood, or can result in loss of sight, hearing, or
sterility, which he himself and many people he knows who work in banana

African American Culture in a Modern American Dominant Sociology
Intro to Sociology

African American culture in the United States refers to the cultural contributions of Americans
African descent to the culture of the United States, either as part of or distinct from American
culture. The distinct identity of African Americanculture is rooted in the historical experience of the
African American people. The culture is both distinct and enormously influential to American
culture as a whole. African American culture is rooted in Africa. It is a blend of chiefly sub Saharan
African and Sahelean cultures. Although slavery greatly restricted the ability of Americans of
African descent to practice their ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The folktales provided African Americans the opportunity to inspire and educate one another.
Examples of African American folktales include trickster tales of Br er Rabbit and heroic tales such
as that of John Henry. The Uncle Remus stories by Joel Chandler Harris helped to bring African
American folk tales into mainstream adoption. Harris did not appreciate the complexity of the
stories nor their potential for a lasting impact on society. The legacy of the African American oral
tradition manifests in diverse forms. African American preachers tend to perform rather than simply
speak. The emotion of the subject is carried through the speaker s tone, volume, and movement,
which tend to mirror the rising action, climax, and descending action of the sermon. Often song,
dance, verse, and structured pauses are placed throughout the sermon. Call and response is another
pervasive element of the African American oral tradition. It manifests in worship in what is
commonly referred to as the amen corner. In direct contrast to recent tradition in other American
and Western cultures, it is an acceptable and common audience reaction to interrupt and affirm the
speaker. This pattern of interaction is also in evidence in music, particularly in blues and jazz
forms. Hyperbolic and provocative, even incendiary, rhetoric is another aspect of African American
oral tradition often evident in the pulpit in a tradition

Why Do You Want To Participate In The Ironbound Initiative...
I am currently a member and the treasurer for the Ironbound Initiative. I am also involved with
the Patient Partnership program as a First Year representative and am the director for the Mini
Med Program at NJMS. In addition, I am a member of the All E.A.R.S Program at NJMS and I
sing in the Vocal Chords Acapella Group.
2.Why do you want to participate in this global health trip? What are your goals, both personally
and for the two week trip as well as after the trip?
Through my participation in the Ironbound Initiative I have come to recognize the significant
health disparities and lack of access to care in the Portuguese and Brazilian communities in New
Jersey. Therefore, I hope that through this trip I will gain experiences and... Show more content on

What do you think will be your greatest challenge?
On this trip, I anticipate communicating with people of a different culture may be a challenge.
Although I do not speak Brazilian Portuguese, I know that we will have a bilingual interpreter
with us as well as NJMS students who speak both languages and thus, I know that the language
barrier will not be a big challenge. More than the language, I want to be contentious on this trip
regarding acknowledging my privileges and that I need to understand the Brazilian approach to
medicine in the context of their culture as well as the resources available to them. Furthermore, I
understand that I have limited knowledge and skills as a first year medical student and so can only
provide basic medical services at this time. Therefore, I am most apprehensive about effectively
understanding and communicating with the Brazilian community and recognizing that currently I
am only able to provide a limited amount of aid to these communities.
4.How do you plan on financially supporting this endeavor? (Are you willing to fundraise as a
team, as well as apply to the available scholarships?)
I fully intend to apply to any available scholarships in order to fund this trip. I am also looking
forward to working with other students going on this trip in order to organize fundraisers such as
bake sales and raffles. I also intend to start a GoFundMe page as well as seek out local businesses

Positive And Negative Effects Of Globalization
Globalization affected the economy in South Asia, specifically Bangladesh, Philippines, and
Afghanistan, in both good ways and bad ways. Bangladesh is one of the countries who have
been affected negatively. The Bangladesh government should enforce the labor law in
Bangladesh. The Philippines has been impacted positively, however they should still work on
business freedom. Afghanistan has also been impacted negatively, and the government should
inaugurate a free educational program for the struggling families. Bangladesh was impacted
negatively by Globalization. Bangladesh has been known to have had incidents where workers
have lost lives due to the poor labor conditions they were working upon. Workers are told to
work long shifts every day, receiving very little pay for the work that they did. In the article titled
Factory Collapses in Bangladesh , by The Institute for Global Labour and Human Rights, It states
how the standard shift for a worker is 13 14 ВЅ hours. This adds up to 90 100 hours/week, with
only 2 days off in the entire month. The money that the workers received ranged from 12 22
cents/hour, depending on the age of the worker. This means that Globalization caused the
factories to move to countries like Bangladesh to have more workers working for longer periods
of time and pay them as little money as possible. Bangladesh has one of the most lowest wages in
the world, Working in the factories means making less money because the owners ignore the laws.

Ferguson Volcanoe Research Paper
The volcanoes in the north south trending cascade province evolved through subduction, addition
of exotic terranes, and oblique plate movements. The North American plate edge was located farther
east during the Mesozoic era. However subduction created microcontinents and microplates which
shifted the plate edge westward.
The first cascade volcanoes erupted 42 million years ago (Ma) forming the older western cascades.
It was orientated northwest but rotated clockwise to become the north south that it is today.

A major eruption melting the ice and snow could send debris flows, pyroclastic flows, and lahars
towards Puget Sound and the Seattle/Tacoma metropolitan area. Volcanic hazard mapping has
identified areas in the park that could be affected in the future by debris flows, lahars, pyroclastic
flows and surges, lava flows, volcanic projectiles, tephra falls, and lateral blasts. Longmire Village
and the Cougar Rock, Ohanapecosh, White River, Ipsut Creek, and Sunshine Point campgrounds
are all vulnerable to these hazards. Monitoring of volcanic activity is on going. There is a need for
an emergency response plan to address these hazards. The reaction between groundwater and rising
gas and steam from the underlying magmatic system creates zones of hydrothermally altered rock.
Fumeroles at the summit of the volcano are one result of this reaction. Another result is the largest
volcanic ice cave system in the world at the summit of Mount Rainier. Earthquakes are also geologic
hazards associated with Mount Rainier. Earthquakes precede a volcanic eruption although not every
earthquake means an eruption is imminent. Other than Mt. St. Helens, Mount Rainier is the mos

Zen and the Art of William Shakespeare Essay
Zen and the Art of Shakespeare
Like all Buddhism, Zen is a means by which one can achieve Buddha consciousness, or in effect
total consciousness. Total consciousness means being aware of the true self and its role in regard to
the infinite cosmos of all existence. This awareness allows one insight into or perhaps
understanding of the Tao, the essential singularity to which all things belong. Understanding the
Tao, for Taoists and Zen Buddhists alike, is the equivalentof Nirvana, loosely described as the
utmost fulfillment of one s existence.
With all of it s lofty, mystical terms and ideas, Zen Buddhism can seem very hard to talk about much

In reality, paradise exists under man s nose, and in it man plays the role of God and Satan. Zen
suggests that we have no good reason to escape this reality, and furthermore it is absurd to think
that we really can.
Ultimately, living in Zen is to live extemporaneously. When one truly lives in Zen there is no
equivocation or deliberation. There is only action. Zen is the ever present guiding force in the life
of an individual who adheres only to living. Zen is far away from the individual who abides
whether in thought or deed, in his own disillusions.
In The Tempest, Prospero s final scene is the most Zen like expression in all of Shakespeare. By
virtue of his spells and charms, Prospero has his enemies right where he wants them. Though
with their high wrongs I am struck to th quick, he says. Yet with my nobler reason gainst my
fury do I take part. The rarer action is in virtue than in vengeance. They being penitent, the sole
drift of my purpose doth extend not a frown further. (Tempest, V.i.20 30) Prospero proceeds to
carry out his act of reconciliation by forgiving his enemies and freeing his slaves. These acts,
though admirable from a moral standpoint are not necessarily expressions of Zen. Prospero s
Zen is expressed in: But this rough magic I do here abjure . . . . . I ll break my staff, bury it
certain fathoms in the earth, and deeper than did ever plummet sound I ll drown my book.

Data breaches are common and seem to be reported, on a monthly or even weekly basis. So what

The story takes place when Fulghum, the author, is left to babysit eighty children seven to ten
years old, in the church social hall. He decides to organize a game called Giants, Wizards, and
Dwarfs to keep the kids entertained and involve some of their intellectual decision making
skills. As the game reached its climax, Fulghum yelled at the children to decide whether they
were a giant, wizard, or dwarf. While the groups frenzied and consulted, a little girl emerged
from the crowd and asked Fulghum, Where do the Mermaids stand? In shock of the girl s
response, Fulghum took a long pause to think and in the end he decided that the Mermaids
stands next to the king, which was Fulghum himself. The meaning of this quote is that there will
be someone, somewhere, who doesn t accept the norms and is defined by their category. The
mermaid the author refers to in the quote would be the little girl and how she was that one
person who wasn t afraid to be different. To add on, those who are different, tend to stand out
among the others. I chose to analyze this quote because I kind of relate to the girl in the quote.

John Milton Cage Influence On Society
The classical period was a revolutionary start of music for decades to come. Many composers prior
to the 1920s gained their fame and fortune through music and their creativity in composing. John
Milton Cage, Jr. was born in Los Angeles on September 5th in 1912. Cage was the son of John
Milton Cage, Sr., an inventor, hence the creativeness yet to come through his music. In 1928, Cage
graduated from Los Angles High School with the intent to pursue a degree in writing. Cage
studied about two years at Pamona College, travelled Europe for around eighteen months, and then
resumed school at UCLA. He discovered at The New School in New York and at UCLA, whilst

Cage began experimenting with music by placing screws and plates between the strings of a
piano to generate different sounds, known as the prepared piano . He also experimented with
tape recorders, record players, and radios, finding the music around him in the simplest objects,
otherwise not considered instruments by the typical composer or musician. After realizing his
makeshift instruments were not what he needed, he began brainstorming ideas for new
instruments. Pieces such as Imaginary Landscape No. 4 and Water Music were just a few
examples of his creativity in music. For Imaginary Landscape No. 4 Cage used twelve radios
played at once to create this composition. Water Music was created by combining shells and
water to form a masterpiece. Cage used unimaginable items such as kitchen gadgets, metal sheets,
various common objects, and even silence to create a discovery no other composer had
considered before. Through his music, he turned the everyday sounds we hear into something so
much more. He performed with his percussion ensemble in New York at the Museum of Modern

Fate And Free Will In Hamlet
Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Quantum
Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead is a play by Tom Stoppard written in 1966. It is also a
movie produced in 1990 also written by Tom Stoppard. The play and the movie follow these two
minor characters adventures on and off the set of Shakespeare s Hamlet. Stoppard takes this unique
perspective to bring up some interesting topics that were only a small part of Hamlet. The
major theme is the idea of fate vs free will. Do these characters exhibit free will? Or are they
simply taken along for the ride as higher powers use them for their own bidding? At the end of the
play, they wonder, There must have been a moment, at the beginning, where we could have

There are certain events that are going to happen no matter what. They are going to tell Hamlet
that they were sent to spy on him. Hamlet is going to find the letter and switch it with one that he
writes. Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are going to die. These are events that are set in stone just
like the events in a Newtonian universe are set in stone. From their perspective they are free
beings making their own choices (or not making choices as it were). From the perspective of the
audience they are fated to follow the plot of Hamlet. This still gives them an infinite array of
possibilities outside of their scenes of the play, but as soon as someone in the play Hamlet begins
their fated discussion they only have one possibility. To put it metaphorically, the play Hamlet is
the Newtonian universe. The events in it are predetermined. On the other hand, Rosencrantz and
Guildenstern represent an electron in the quantum sense. This allows for them to have the infinite
array of possibilities when by themselves like the free beings that they are existing as a wave and
a particle at the same time, but when viewed under a microscope by one of the characters in Hamlet
they all of a sudden know who they must be and are fated to do as is written. They are allowed to

What Is The Theme Of Dulce Et Decorum Est
Wilfred Owen served as a Lieutenant in the British army during the First World War, ironically
he was killed shortly before the Armistice was signed. Wilfred Owen s Dulce Et Decorum Est is
a compelling poem trying to depict the helplessness of soldiers caught in a Gas Chamber. The poet
describes the general condition of the men involved in the war, their condition after a shock of a
gas attack and then describing the effect of it on someone who lives through it.
Summary of Dulce Et Decorum Est :

Evaluate The Effectiveness Of The Progressive Movement
At the beginning of 1900s, reformers pushed for a number of changes. Together their efforts build
the progressive movement. The progressive movement was a reform movement made to return
control of the government to the people, to get economic opportunities, and to correct injustices in
American life. The progressive movement was useful because it improved the political, social,
and economics of America. The movement is based on four major objectives, protect social
welfare, promote moral improvements, create economic reform and foster efficiency. Reformers
tried to promote social welfare by forming protestant movements for example The Social Gospel
was the most prominent in the late 19th century and early 20th century. The movement relates
Christian principles to social problems, especially poverty, inequality, liquor, bad hygiene, and
crime. They believed that that the second coming could not happen until humankind rid itself of
social evils by human effort. The Salvation Army emphasized the Christian duty to help those who
were less fortunate and fed poor people in the cities and cared for children in nurseries.

during a glue that was invented that was considered a failure in the 1970 s someone came up with

Six Sigma has not produced such large scale products for 3M.
Answering the Questions
1. Relative advantage of Six Sigma o Time efficient Cost effective eliminate the extra ideas and
create the right idea the first time o Customer loyalty o Reduction of incidents o Lower costs for
providing goods and services
Relative disadvantage Six Sigma o Creativity and innovation decreases due to the lack of
opportunity to come up with ideas. o Complicated process to learn and keep going o Risk of
failure / fear of the unknown
2. Using Six Sigma 3M s programmed decisions are well thought out and researched. On the other
hand, their non programmed decisions could be better because they lack the ingenuity and inputs
of employees that drive new ideas. So I have to believe that because of the rigidness of the
management style does not allow for the employees to create new products and bring forth the new
ideas.
3. While I am all for putting processes in place and improving effectiveness and eliminating
waist, I have never been a fan of the Six Sigma process. I feel the Six Sigma, just as the expert
believe, takes away the creative processes and does not allow enough flexibility for research and
development. Society and business are always changing. Consumers develop needs for new

Change Blindness Essay
Change Blindness
After investigating spatial cognition and the construction of cognitive maps in my previous paper,
Where Am I Going? Where Have I Been: Spatial Cognition and Navigation , and growing in my
comprehension of the more complex elements of the nervous system, the development of an
informed discussion of human perception has become possible. The formation of cognitive maps,
which serve as internal representations of the world, are dependent upon the human capacities for
vision and visual perception (1). The objects introduced into the field of vision are translated into
electrical messages, which activate the neurons of the retina. The resultant retinal message is

The concept of change blindness has been addressed over the course of nearly half a century, with
increasing focus on the subject throughout the past five years (3). Although biologists,
psychologists, and philosophers have yet to resolve definitively the paradox of looking without
seeing, the investigation of each theory on the matter yields deeper insight into visual perception
and sight as well as a decreasingly incorrect understanding of those components of the nervous
system, which are crucial for visual cognition. Under normal viewing conditions, changes produce
transient signals that can draw attention. Change blindness studies are designed to eliminate or
block these transient signals by inserting a visual disruption when the change occurs (3). Flicker
Paradigm studies examine the occurrence of change blindness and attempt to explain the inability
to not see that which is directly in front of our eyes. The Flicker Paradigm demonstrates the
essentiality of attention in the process of seeing (4). The alternation of an object and a modified
version of that same object is interrupted by millisecond flashes of blank space. Subjects are then
asked to report changes in the images.
In order understand the events leading to the failure to recognize change, comprehension of the
mechanism by which change is successfully recognized is requisite. According to the traditional
understanding of this process, an individual must form an internal

The Recent Engagement of Contemporary Islamic Thought with Modernity in the West
Modernization theory has been one of the master theoretical narratives to understand the major
institutional and cultural transformation from traditional societies to modern ones. It was
developed by the founders of sociology and has dominated the widespread understanding and
explanations of many social differentiation processes including rationalization, individualization,
urbanization, and secularization for several decades. Thus, sociologists believed that the

They suggest that we should re systematize and correct the classical theory of modernization in the
light of multiple modernities frameworks because multiple modernities do not assume that global
modernity is derived from the West as a single pattern (source) and describe the possibility of a
plural modernity experiences. In fact, there are many modernities, not only one single patter of
modernization. These developments forced sociologists for a paradigm shift in the dominant one
side understanding of western modernity.
In this context, Islam and the discourse of western Muslim intellectuals have gradually gained
visibility and significance through the continuing migration and the growth of new generations in
the western societies. Western Islam also has emerged in the hearth of modernity; yet did not
follow the same patters of classical modernization trends. However, it could not escape the
hegemonic influence of modernity. As a result, western Islam is emerging not only as a response to
the challenges (premises) of modernity, but also through a transformative dialectical engagement
with the ethos of modernity, which gradually pave the path towards the rise of Islamic modernism
(Islamic modernity) in the west. Hence, the multiple modernities thesis serves as a more adequate
theoretical approach than the prevailing modernization, the secularization perspective or many

Weight Training Benefits
The following research is a study based on the topic, where children participate in weight training,
and the benefits that it may bring. For a long time people have though the training will bring more
harm than good on a child, but research actually shows that s not the case (Hale, 2003, p.4). The
American College of Sports Medicine did a study, where two thousand physicians participated to see
whether weight trainingaffected a child s joints and growth plates (Wilson). They concluded that if
done correctly the exercise will have no risk on a child s growing development. Other studies like
one done by The National Strength and Conditioning Association came to the same conclusion

Spread Of Disinformation Essay
The spread of Disinformation and urban can be the cause of distress and anxiety within a society.
Falsified stories can result in the change of the collective behaviours of a community having a
negative impact upon it (Bartholomew and Victor 2004). Most of these instances pass without
much documentation and like folklore they seem only to be passed through oral communication
(Bell 2009). The impact of false information on a society can be more damaging than the simple
belief in something that has never existed, or come to pass. Generally, when this type of
information first surfaces in the media it is considered factual. In the instance of a well developed
hoax, it can take time for authorities and the media to gather the correct information.... Show more

However entertainment broadcast via radio lead to one of the most famous spreads of
disinformation experienced. This broadcast went on to cause distress to many members of
society. The first broadcast of Howard Koch s radio story based upon H.G Well s War of the
Worlds was meant to entertain listeners, instead it caused widespread fear when it s intended
audience thought the story was a the factual telling of an alien invasion. Many people called their
local police departments to confirm what they had heard, panic moved rapidly throughout
America (Bartholomew and Radford 2011, 19). The fear experienced by the people of America
spread with great speed, however it is interesting to note that the event did not cause the mass
hysteria that most perceived had occurred, and it was later decided that the event did not cause
mass hysteria, simple a shared sense of fear (Bartholomew and Victor 2004). The Broadcast of the
War of The Worlds story shows how easily disinformation can be spread through radio
transmission and how society regards what they hear when it is information given by a source that

Persuasive Essay On Texting While Driving
Most people believe that only texting is harmful while driving, but talking on the phone may be
just as harmful. While most believe that talking on a cellular device is harmless, it is in fact, a
distraction. The roads would be a much safer place for drivers if the amount of distractions were
limited.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reveals that there are several reasons why
talking on the phone while driving should be illegal in all states. One of these reasons is that car
accidents are one of the most prevalent causes of death in the United States; and distraction is the
number one cause of car accidents (Currin). Many people think that as long as you talk on the
phone using a hands free device, it is perfectly safe. While many people agree with this, that is not
the case. It is not the act of driving with only one hand that is the problem, but it is that the driver
must multitask when processing the information that the caller is saying. This is especially a
concern with emotional conversations (Svenson and Patten 182).
Some drivers believe that as long as you keep your eyes on the road, it is fine to answer and
make phone calls while driving. This point is not valid, because distraction can be anything
averting concentration, not just looking away from the path of travel (Svenson and Patten 182).
Drivers must become more aware of this problem, especially in our advancing technological age.
Many people may suggest that conversing with a passenger poses the same risks as talking on
the phone. This is a valid point, but David Strayer, a cognitive scientist at the University of Utah,
agues that having a passenger in the vehicle actually promotes safer driving since there are four
eyes on the road instead of only two. Adams writes that Strayer says that passengers tend to stop
talking when the demands of driving increase. The helpfulness of having another set of eyes in the
vehicle with the driver does not carry over with teenaged driving (Adams).
Some might say that as long as the person operating the vehicle is a good driver, his driving skills
should not be affected by talking on the phone while driving. Contrary to popular belief, talking on
the phone while driving, even with a

An Evaluation Of The Job Offer
The job offer is a critical element in the recruitment process and must be executed strategically for
maximum effectiveness. A mistake in the job offer stage could result in any number of
consequences, including the loss of the best candidate, giving the wrong impression, and even legal
ramifications. Clean Care Care (3Cs) is in a unique situation in the company s history. With low
unemployment and a lack of qualified internal candidates, Arlan Autospritz, the owner, is recruiting
a manager outside of the local market and company for the first time. Many elements must be

In Jane s case, there is a significant chance of any one of these obstacles. An initial salary offer of
$33,000, along with additional inducements, may be a good starting point for negotiations. This
will provide negotiating room of at least up to $35,000, a 10% jump from her current situation. In
this situation, upfront and honest communication could benefit 3Cs. For example, asking Jane
whether she was looking at any other companies or has any other offers on the table. Upfront
communication can work to best align the wants and needs of both company and candidate
(Maurer, 2015). The offer should be clarified as employment at will to provide flexibility for both
3Cs and Jane. This is particularly important in this case since Jane is coming from a different
industry and without thorough knowledge of the 3Cs business and culture. Additional Inducements
Considering Jane s current situation, additional inducements may be equally or even more
important than the salary, especially during any negotiations. First, it is unlikely that the health
insurance details could be changed for one individual so the salary bump and added inducements
must be enough to make up the difference. Options may include additional vacation, flexible
scheduling, a signing bonus, and relocation assistance. Jane should be offered two weeks of
vacation since she is about to earn that at her current

July 31 Midnight It is always hard to bury your best friend, which is why I have begun this
journal entry. The year is 2016; my best friend of 10 years is gone, and my depression has
overtaken me. Unfortunately, we have to make hard choices about letting go of a close friend,
and although it may hurt us, it is the right thing to do. I still remember the day that I had to
lower his body down in to that 6 foot deep hole; somehow, I feel as if he is still here, right beside
me. Oh how I wish he was here, siting right beside me while I drink my nightly glass of red wine.

My mother has always been a kind soul and loved Brock as much as me, so she said Son, I am sure
you re hurt, but you are only seeing things. Let him go.
I talked to them for over an hour explaining my situation, but they did not want to hear about Brock
anymore. Eventually, I gave up and went to my room to sleep until it was the early morning.
August 11 3:33 A.M. I am very excited because I know I will see Brock soon, but there is no
sign of him yet. Everybody knows I loved him dearly, and life without him has not felt the same.
All of a sudden, I saw two bright green eyes jump out of the garden and there he was in all his
glory frolicking around. Just the sight of him made my heart happy and my life feel complete. I
have not been happy in this life without him, and I wish there was a way I could join him. Perhaps!
I will bury myself in his grave and we will be together again. I leave behind two great parents, but I
would rather be with Brock than anyone else. I laid in his grave and took my knife. Now, I do not
know where I will be going, but it is time for me to join him.

These Concerns Will Be Addressed In The Next Paragraph.
These concerns will be addressed in the next paragraph. Another major concern is that self
sufficiency in terms of growing and providing food domestically could be put at risk, specifically
in the global south, due to growing dependencies of imports (Bezenuh and Yiheyis 2014). While
this is not a concern to simply throw away, a recent study has suggested, that a number of countries,
which are not currently self sufficient, do have to rely on tradeto meet food requirements such as
nations in North Africa (D Odorico et al. 2014). Additionally, in the same study, it was determined
that trade, in the majority of cases did not cause a loss of sufficiency, and more often played a
beneficial role to nations. Especially in an environment today, a... Show more content on

It is argued, that if the global north is able to dominate the increases in agricultural trade due to free
trade, specifically infiltrating globally southern markets, it will perhaps negatively effect
improvements of efficiency in global south agricultural spheres (Beachy 2011). Additionally, it
is argued, that due to the U.S., as well as other globally northern nations using subsides, they are
able to sell their own nations product at lower prices, and effectively close off trading markets
for developing nations (Clemmitt 2008). An example of this practice in the real world involves
analyzing corn trade in North America. Since the North American Free Trade Agreement
(NAFTA) has been put in place, Mexican corn farmers have seen losses in their business
(Beachy 2011). Additionally, the U.S. has seen larger gains in corn exports, specifically inside
Mexico (Wu and Guclu 2013). This is a real world example, which represents one of the major
concerns in expanding free trade, that it will ultimately be exploited by nations in the global north.
Additionally for these smaller farmers, especially in developing nations who cannot compete with
these conditions, poverty has been seen to increase for these people (Kendall and Petracco 2009).
Beachy argues this to be one of the major indictments of the free trade system in improving food
security, a greater number of citizens in the developing world

These situations are dangerous and have to be treated with extreme caution. When first responders
are responding to a call of possible chemical suicide, they have to approach it with extreme caution
and be very aware of the situation. Most of the time at these situations, the person attempting to
use these chemicals to commit suicide will post some kind of warning for first responders as
well as other people. For example, a situation of chemical suicide in a car, the person might post
a sign in the window of the car as a warning to people and first responders on scene.
(FEMA.Gov). Although leaving a note or sign to warn people might happen, it is not always the
case. Some chemical suicides will not be as noticeable as others. A chemical suicide in a car can
produce levels of 8,000 parts per million in that car. Unless the responder is aware of the danger
and is wearing breathing apparatus when the door is opened, they may easily be killed with the
first breath they take. (Rowley). When approaching the scene, take time to do a full size up of
the scene and look inside the car through the window. You might be able to see and buckets or
cans that could have possibly been where the chemicals were mixed. (Oreshan III/Stevens, 2011).
This is something that is simple that first responders can and should do but it is easily overlooked
as well. There are other ways to tell if someone committed suicide with chemicals. For example, a

Allusions In Araby Chapter 7
Chapter 7 ...or the Bible In Araby, the beginning of the story starts off with a description of the
house in which the boy lives in which includes the mentioning of an apple tree alone in the
middle of the yard. The apple tree is a direct allusion to the apple tree in the Genesis story of
Adam and Eve where they lived in a garden and could not eat from the apple tree. When the
narrator says, I bore my chalice safely through a throng of foes , the chalice represents a holy
cup and him carrying it through a throng off foes symbolizes him overcoming a challenge.
Substitution atonement is when someone sacrifices themselves so that others do not have to
sacrifice themselves or suffer, like how Jesus sacrificed himself to save all of us from our sins.
The narrator sacrifices his time to go to the bazaar for a girl that he has never even talked to and
probably doesn t even like him. Yet, he sacrifices his feelings and time anyway just for her. When
the narrator sees the woman in the bazaar with the two men he realizes his mistake in going there
and feels betrayed by himself that he could let himself think that going there for the girl would
change anything or make her like him. Chapter 8 Hanseldee and Greteldum Fairy tales often have

Quantum Mechanics and Islam Essay
Introduction
Quantum mechanics or also known as quantum physics is a field of science which studies the
behaviour of particles at sub atomic level. This theory tells us that short lived pairs of particles and
their antiparticles are constantly being created and destroyed in an apparently empty space.
In quantum mechanics the weird behaviour of electrons are not accurately explained and until now
not a single theory is acceptable by the whole scientific community to postulate the phenomena. The
electrons become linked, or entangled, such that changing one invariably affects the other, no
matter how far apart they are; something Einstein called spooky action at a distance . Quantum
stuff can also exist in several places at once, or spin ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The inadequacy and weaknesses of modern science is thus manifested as a result of its ignorance
on other sources of scientific knowledge such as metaphysical and spiritual knowledge which is
proven successful by previous Muslim scientists during the period of medieval Islam.
In Islamic science, cosmology plays an important role as a link between pure metaphysics and the
particular sciences and acts as a source of conceptual framework for the unity of science and
spiritual knowledge. There are a number of cosmological principles in Islamic science which are
formulated based on the relevant Qur anic verses, prophetic traditions and intuitive knowledge of
famous traditional Muslim scholars. In this study, the principles and ideas of quantum mechanics
are presented in a simplified manner for easy understanding of the subject matter, followed by the
application of the principles in Islamic science wherein the relevant issues are discussed
accordingly.
A Brief History of Quantum Mechanics
Quantum theory began to take shape in the early 20th century, when classical ideas failed to
explain some observations. Previous theories allowed atoms to vibrate at any frequency, leading to
incorrect predictions that they could radiate infinite amounts of energy; a problem known as the
ultraviolet catastrophe. Max Planck in 1900 solved this problem by assuming the vibrations of
atoms at specific or

Corporations and Health Insurance vs. White Collar American.
A well educated man who is a husband and a father receives a job with good benefits. It is
standard that when you begin working at a job with benefits, there is a ninety day waiting period
for the insurance to become effective. By this time the employee had been employed for six
months and one day his young son goes in for a check up and the child was diagnosed with
leukemia. All the sudden now you have someone that has a catastrophic illness. Medical billings are
through the roof easily costing thirty thousand dollars a day in the hospital. Because your job offers

This can cause individuals to be targeted for high medical billings. Without a job and health
insurance it is impossible to pay the medical bills. The family found it only financially reasonable
to get a divorce to supply the child his medical needs. Where does the blame lie? I believe the
blame lies with corporate greed because a corporation is defined as a profit making institution.
Therefore if an individual is costing the company more money than what they are worth the
company will terminate the employee. The insurance company is releasing medical information to
the corporation on employees and their family members. Because of the insurance company doing
so, the corporation terminated the employee and he was unable to get another job and to insure his
family. Corporations have too much access to their employee s medical situations.
What is the solution? Although this child s medical bills were outrageously expensive, the
corporation should not have the authority to terminate the employee. So to solve this the FMLA
should begin when insurance becomes effective. So when a situation occurs like my example, the
family is not left with the burden of losing a job, losing health insurance, and breaking up their
home in order to keep their family out of a financial burden. Insurance should be based on
classifications for the entire state and that no one individual should or can be targeted as causing
the increase of premiums to any one individual

Sports Influence On American Culture
Anyone who has ever been in America does not need to be there long to realize how much of an
impact sports have on American culture. They are everywhere. Nearly every child has played
on a sports team at least once in their life, even if it was only when they were in kindergarten. As
adults, sports pop up everywhere: television, radio, newspapers for local, and the news channel
on the TV. Trying to live a life completely without the influence of sports proves to become nearly
impossible. So what type of influence do sports really have on people? To start with, many people
would agree that sports have long term impacts when it comes to personality. The majority of
sports have teams. Even individual sports such as track, swimming, and gymnastics have team
competitions. Successfully working in a team environment helps in work environments. According
to Kevin Kniffin, a professor who specializes in Management, Organizational Behavior, and
Sports Analytics, people who participated in sports make more ideal candidates for jobs. Hiring
managers expect former student athletes (compared with people who participated in other popular
extracurriculars) to have more self confidence, self respect and leadership; actual measures of
behavior in a sample of people who had graduated from high school more than five decades earlier
showed those expectations proved accurate. (). All of those characteristics help tremendously in the
real world. People without confidence in themselves,

Frontal Lobe Research Paper
The Brain s Frontal Lobes Actions
The frontal lobe and the following other parts of the frontal lobe section of the brain have many
functions. The frontal lobe part of the brain connects to many other structural parts of the brain,
connected to mini sections of which creates different effects to the lobe. Which are the prefrontal

The prefrontal cortex is located within the frontal lobe, but it takes up the majority of the lobe. The
function of the prefrontal cortex is the crucial performance, and skill it provides within the brain
which requires intelligence. The brain is located in many different subjects, such as a human,
mammal, and animal. When discussing the prefrontal cortex, it s known to many that it s larger in
certain primates and it tends to be that way but not in mammals. It is also known to be larger in the
human brain compared to other primates brains. The reason of this is because of the high amount of
the level planning which is correlated by the members that have different species. The majority of

Some of the characters in this book exemplify the type of people who break the law, and I think
it is important to focus on them because these are the people who are responsible for so many of
the world s problems. First, I will be discussing Charlie s own parents. As children, we expect our
parents to be the ones who are always there, the people that have your back, and the people who
will love until the end of time. However, for a lot of children this is not the case. And in Charlie s
life, this was far from reality. His parents were embarrassed and disgusted by him and his mental
disability. They were ashamed. The main culprit was his mother. His mother would yell at him,
treat him like nothing, and just pretend that he didn t have feelings and that he wasn t her son.
For instance: Now he had a clear picture of Charlie s mother, screaming at him, holding a leather
belt in her hand, and his father trying to hold her back (112). This example shows how his
mother felt about him, how his father reacted, and how his mother chose to take it out on Charlie:
abuse. This next example Now I can see where I got the usual motivation for becoming smart that
so amazed everyone at first. It was something Rose Gordon lived with day and night. Her fear, her
guilt, her shame that Charlie was a moron (144). This

Throughout the history of movies women s roles have started to be reflected as such. In the
movies watched in class women s roles have advances from just wives, objects of affection, and

Compare And Contrast Huxley And Thomas Moore
How did Aldous Huxley and Thomas Moore approach the perfect society in their writings? They

Thomas More coined the word utopia from 2 Greek words ou meaning no or not and topos which
mean no place for his novel Utopia (Miriam Webster 2017). His novel Utopia written in 1516
was essay of current 16th century English society. Each author is a product of their times.

One defining characteristic of the Utopian genre is that the societies require their citizens to
give up personal freedoms in exchange for economic and physical security. In Utopia all people
are equal and people voluntarily gave up those freedoms. Draconian laws protect a benevolent
state and therefore the population at large. People can be killed or enslaved for breaking the
rules. Utopia was ruled by a hierarchy of elected phylarchs within this classless society. The
author Thomas More contrasts the Utopia classless society with entrenched European class system
which is based on largely on heredity. In Brave New World the world is ruled by a supposed
benevolent ruling class. The population is subjugated through the Bokanovsky Process, Podsnap
Technique and Hypnopaedia. These processes condition people to be happy with their lot in life.
Both Authors define the common good from different perspectives. Both societies provide the
basics of the common good. People were fed, clothed and educated by society. They had easy
access to medical care and housing. To Thomas Moore the common good also meant to nourish the
mind. He believed in a society populated by an enlightened, happy and productive people. This
intelligent population was civically involved and helped rule the land. People used the free time

Father and Son Relationship in William Shakespeare s Henry IV and V
Shakespeare deals with a parent child relationship in the historical plays of Henry IV Parts One
and Two in the characters of Henry Bullingsworth (Henry IV) and his son Hal (Prince of Wales,
later Henry V). The fact stands clear in the development of the son, Hal: the son s success in life is
not dependent on his relationship to his father politically, but success is demonstrated when there
is a realization of both parties on the level of parental love. Hal is not living up to his name, but
also to blame in his father s failure to love. Our discussion is based solely on the text itself, based

(I Hen. IV iii, ii 18,19, 26 28). Hal s response shows the formality of the relationship with his
father. This is where the fact of the shared responsibility of Hal s condition comes to life. The
fact of the father s background helps us to realize that the King got where he is by sacrificing a
few things, one of them his relationship with is older son. And perhaps it may be stated tritely:
like father, like son. Hal is coping with not having a father figure, and acting perhaps as his father
would. Perhaps this initial confrontation could be a Cat in the Cradle theme, where the father
suddenly realizes that his boy is just like me, my boy is just like me .
The father responds God pardon thee! in the continuing awkwardness of the situation. The king
promotes the informalness to the talk. He lists specific failures that he sees in Hal s life and
reactions to the situation. They include: losing his place in the Council to his younger brother
(32,33), alienating himself from the rest of the family (33,34), losing the respect and hope of the
people for a good successor to the throne (36 38), and making a mockery of all the king worked for
(46 84). Then the kicker by the frustrated father:

Quietly scribbling away on his math test, Sam looks up to see a new student entering the
classroom. The teacher is overjoyed to see the new student and abandons her stern monitoring
mood to welcome him. When the test has concluded, the teacher introduces the new student as
brilliant, making Sam squirm in his seat since he has the highest grades in the class. By the end
of the year, the new student has overcome Sam s grades; Sam feels futile. Humans feel futile for
a variety of reasons, causing them to change and act in certain ways. In the novel Do Androids
Dream of Electric Sheep?, Philip K. Dick shows how Rick Deckard s behavior declines for a
number of different reasons through Rick s depression. Rick Deckard shows his depression in a
variety of ways in Philip Dick s novel. Within the first two pages of the novel, Dick shows the
first sign of Rick s depression. His day begins with a rather unpleasant experience with his wife
Iran. After waking up in a dismayed mood and resisting Rick s attempts to cheer her up, Iran titles
Rick as a murderer hired by the cops (Dick 4). Rick, having received this one malignant comment,
quickly snaps into an aggressive mood. Rick s... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
According to Dr. Segal, almost every case of depression includes some type of behavior that is
anticipating the end of one s life. This parallels exactly what Rick was feeling as his world was
flipped upside down. Knowing what happens in the novel, one can look onto Dick s own life
and see parallels to Deckard. In his biography of Dick, Mackey comments on how one Philip
Dick s novels chronicled the pain and futility of his drug years (4). Although Mackey is talking
about a different novel, there is no surprise seeing how Rick Deckard in Androids demonstrates
this pain and futility in his reckless pursuit of six androids in one day

Manhood Theorists Kimmel Summary
I appreciate Michael S. Kimmel s structure of this article very much. Based on what I ve learned
from past readings and lectures about structures and systems, I am glad that the first portion of the
article was about explaining manhood in relation to the structure of the middle class under
capitalism and how the individual that is formed from each society is first introduced and explained
to the reader. The line that really helped me understand the kind of manhood that theorists are
picking apart is when Kimmel says the definition of manhood drives its identity from participation
in the marketplace, from interaction with other men in that marketplace in short, a model of
masculinityfor whom identity is based on homosocial competition.

Religious Role In Canterbury Tales
During the Middle Ages in Medieval Europe, the Roman Catholic Church played an important
role in practically every aspect of life. It dominated and had a tremendous control over everyone.
They specifically had control over the decision of who goes to Heaven and who goes to Hell
therefore creating a sort of fear amongst people who believed that their souls were the most
important thing they had and that the only way for their souls to go Heaven was through the
church. For this reason exactly, some religious figures started to take advantage of their position
knowing how devoted people were to the church. This led to the formation of stereotypes towards
them and triggered distaste toward the church. Chaucer was one mainly affected by religion and the
church; it played an important role in his poem the Canterbury Tales where he used religious...

When we think of a nun we usually think of a religious woman who dedicates her life to
worshipping, reading, and working in the convent or nunnery. They also take on the vows of
poverty, chastity, and obedience. If you were a prioress, however, you had the responsibility of
managing the activities of the nuns, administering discipline, and making decisions on things
such as housing and work. In Chaucer s Canterbury Tales we are seen with the character of
Madam Eglantyne, a prioress who obsesses with earthly pleasures. When you take on the role of
being a nun you are prohibited from owning, and especially wearing, any sorts of jewelry and
intricate clothing. However, that prohibition didn t stop her from wearing her elegant cloak and
coral trinket. A Prioress was also supposed to love God with all her heart, but Madam Eglantyne
was infatuated with the concept of courtly love. Like any other religious figure at the time, she
would also use all the money she earned for her own personal

Determining The Molarity Of An Acidic Solution
Title: Find the unknown concentration of the acidic solution with use of titration
Problem/Objective: To determine the molarity of an acidic solution given the molarity of a basic
solution
Materials/Equipment: 50 ml buret, double buret clamp, graduated cylinder (50 ml or 100 ml), 250
ml beaker, dropper pipette, Unknown concentration of HCL (75 ml), phenolphthalein
Procedure: 1. Set up the titration apparatus as indicated by your teacher
2. Place 1250 ml beaker containing 75 ml HCl underneath the buret (buret already set up with the
volume recorded) for titration and apparatus.
3. Record the initial volumes of the acid and base to the nearest 0.1 ml and record HCl volume of
75 ml

Titration has application to be as blood sugar and pregnancy test. For pregnancy test it applies to
titration, as it test the concentration of the blood to identify whether a person is pregnant or not.
The concept is same for blood sugar testing, from the concentration of the blood can help determine
the amount of glucose in the blood (Nurul Syazwanie (Nov, 9, 2011) Titration uses in everyday life
). Titration is not relying use in chemical reaction, but rather other important real life use.
Errors: Percent error: Measured value Accepted value/Accepted value X 100
0.468 0.5/0.5 X 100= 6.4% percent error
Sources of error: One possible error can be during the process of putting the base solution into acid
beaker until it turns pink. There maybe a possibly that there are more base in the acidic solutions.
This would related to the outcome of the percent error to be negative. If there was less base than the
actually amount than the titration calculation would be lower.
Second potential error could be some incorrect measurement on the buret for base solution volume.
In some case measuring is hard tell in decimal number and is not always accurate, there maybe a
slight chance the measurement could have been lower than usual. If this were the error, this would
affect the outcome of molarity because if there is low measured volume it will ultimately result in a
low

Argumentative Essay About Bridgeport
It was November 2013. I don t want to go to High School in Bridgeport. I remember telling my
mom. My mom then said, Wherever you go, you re determined to succeed. I didn t want to be
any average Bridgeport girl, I wanted to be more than that. I didn t want to be a product of my
environment or the system that was designed to fail me, so I knew the only way out for me was
quality education. Bridgeport is one of the biggest cities in Connecticut yet we have one of the
highest crime, poverty, and unemployment rates As a city we are already doing poorly and the
education system is a whole other story. In a Bridgeport high schoolthe students are at a very high
disadvantage compared to surrounding high schools. The city s budget cuts have been increasing
steadily over the years from all the schools in the city. From art programs to music to even sports
programs.Years leading up to my graduation I saw programs I enjoyed participating in slowly
disappearing. It was the same thing over and over... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
I knew taking the train would also be a sacrifice that I d have to make that other high school
students wouldn t have to. I d have to wake up at the crack of dawn (5:30 AM) to get ready to
take the train to Norwalk. Norwalk and Bridgeport are 2 totally different worlds. On the train
you see and interact with different people, there might even be times where you have to sit next
to a total stranger. This sacrifice would also come with benefits. Some of these benefits could be
a power nap on the train, extra time to study and or do homework, and just enjoy the scenery.
The train ride would represent the bridge that connects me to my goals. Each stop is a new
obstacle that I face living in Bridgeport whether that s a shooting, or robbing or even a kid
napping. When I get to South Norwalk I reach my goal. I knew going to and from to school would
be a journey, but like Odysseus I m on a

This illustrates a relationship between proportions. Moreover, the results show a 44 percent
improvement in lowering the back pain on those who practice mindfulness based stress
reduction. Also, there is a 45 percent reduction of lower back pain for those who practice
cognitive behavioral therapy. Therefore, both variable positively correlate with lowering the
lower back pain. Further, the data collected for this study was based on an experiment. In other
words, in order to prove that the explanatory variables, in this case, mindfulness based stress
reduction and cognitive behavioral therapy, have an effect on the response variable, which is the
reduction of lower back pain, is necessary to put the cases on different treatments to obtain the
desire results. Also, Rabin writes They were randomly assigned in equal numbers to either
mindfulness based stress reduction, cognitive behavioral therapy, or to continue doing what they
were already doing (Rabin 7). This demonstrates that sampling was used to avoid the sample to
differ from the population in a significant way. Finally, Rabin does implies that there is a causal
association between the variables by expressing that mindfulness based stress reduction and
cognitive behavioral therapy can be helpful for low back pain but stopping the treatment can cause

Kenning In Beowulf
ENGLISH 5193 Professor Christopher A. Jones A brief survey in compounds and kennings in
OE and ON Ash Gao I chose the definition of kenning to start with, because there is a handbook
by Snorri. I then gave some explanations and supplements to his classification according to some
modern scholars. Then I argued that OE lacks the pure kenning that ON has. Finally I inserted a
story showing compound making as an important skill for skalds, and how it is equally important
in OE. Perhaps the most quoted definition of the term kenning is that by Georg Paul Rudolf
This definition may seem to modern scholars
imprecise, as the two part substitution remains too loosely defined. Here I turned to a source, much
younger than Beowulf, for the definition of this... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
He pointed out that the few pure kennings existed in Beowulf are mainly Christian terms like
body , breast , ship , and sun , and they cognate with words in a Greek source life of secundus,
whilst kennings listed in the skaldic project website are mostly unique, Germanic, and pure .
Skalds do travel a lot for stories and had good knowledge about Christianity, thus it is rather likely
that they be well learnt from this Greek source, its Latin translations, and not to mention from
Beowulf. Nevertheless, it is striking the heavy ratio of Germanic themed kennings in the corpus.
Man has over 1126 entries while god 13. Apprently these Christian concepts are not appropriate for
skald verses, unlike the example in Beowulf where all pure kennings are cognates with the Greek
and Latin

Why Is Hinduism The Strongest Civilization
Hinduism is one of the oldest religions which some believe to be the first. Hinduism is so big it
has almost one billion people following the religion. Also, Buddhism is also very old but has only
been around for roughly 2,500 years. If anyone had to take a guess which religion is older most
people would say Hinduismbecause of the historical sights and findings that show how old the
systems were. People don t even know how far back Hinduism is way older and has been around
for longer than Buddhism, which means Hinduism has had longer to develop and become a
civilized civilization. Hinduism is most definitely the stronger civilization . Now to dig a little
deeper into Buddhism itself. Buddhism is not like a most religions. Buddhism doesn t

Argumentative Essay On Puppy Mills
Cook county recently released a new ordinance prohibiting pet stores from selling dogs that were
born in puppy mills. Puppy mills are dog breeders that put profit over dogs, and breed dogs with
inhumane and unsanitary conditions. Usually, dogs from pet stores come from puppy mills. This
regulation came after affect from countless complaints in the Chicagoland area that pets are
obtaining diseases and dying within weeks of adoption. In a report from Mrs. Bagby s 8th graders,
89% of students know someone who has had a dogor cat from a petstore. Lea Karpov, a student in
Mrs. Bagby s class exclaimed Puppymills are cruel and unfathomable. This regulation came after

This leaves us all in confusion: how are the other 7,000 puppy mills functioning without
oversight? Well, there are no regulations on how these puppy mills operate. Picture this: A huge
dark room with small metal cages stacked on top of each other, the air filled with the
whimpering and crying of the puppies trapped inside them. When puppies are bred in these
unsanitary conditions, there is usually just a sole survivor out of a litter of 8, similar to Hunger
Games in which only the strong prevails. According to the Puppy Mill Project, an outgoing
campaign to stop for profit breeders (breeders who put money over dog welfare), over 2 million
puppies are sold from puppy mills each year, with 1.2 million slaughtered in the mills due to
overpopulation. In fact, some puppies from the mills are sold on the black market, to be a part of
dog fighting and

Nicholas Stoller s Neighbors
When I got the invite to see Nicholas Stoller s work in progress comedy Neighbors back in
February, I didn t know what to expect. Of course, I knew it was going to be raunchy but my
main concern was whether the film would be actually funny. Seth Rogen s particular brand of
comedy has been largely hit or miss with me as there are times where I ve found him too
abrasive (like in 2011 s ill advised reimagining of venerable radio serial crime fighter the Green
Hornet) but when he s in a role that plays to his strengths, he can be absolutely hilarious. Despite
my mixed feelings on Rogen, the biggest wildcard in Neighbors was Zac Efron. Women
specifically teenage girls may go crazy over his baby blue eyes and perfectly formed pecs and
abs but as an actor, he s been less than impressive. With only the poster as my frame of reference,
I went into the screening of Neighbors and came out ninety minutes later in pain...because I was
laughing so hard! In fact, I enjoyed Stoller s film so much that I recently saw it a second time in
its completed form, although the only things that were missing in the work in progress version
was some post production effects and the end credits. We re barely two weeks into the summer
movie season and already we have a strong contender for best comedyof 2014.
Married couple Mac and Kelly Radnor (Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne) are slowly adjusting to life in
the suburbs with their newborn baby girl Stella but the family s hope for peace and quiet is

The Omo Site Of Ethiopia, Africa
In this research paper we will be discussing the Omo site in Ethiopia, Africa. Some key points
that will be discussed will be its original discovery in 1967, it s addition research that was
completed in 2005, Omo I and II s updated age (McDougall et al., 2005), and the scientific
importance of the discoveries from this site and what it means for idea of the first appearance of the
modern human(Fleagle et al., 2008).
In 1967 in the Lower Omo Valley near Kibish, Ethiopia along the Omo river, a team from the
Kenya National Museums, led by Richard Leakey an anthropologist and conservationist, did an
initial exploration which led to the discovery of several stone tools, hominin fossils, and various
other skull fossils of mammals. In this expedition the team found parts of what would be known
as Omo I and Omo II. The finds for Omo I comprised of the mandible, dentition, several parts of
the cranium, and a considerable portion of the post cranial skeleton. Omo I s finds has been
described as being a modern skeleton of Homo sapiens. Omo II comprised of an almost intact
neurocranium, which has been described as primitive remains most closely resembling Homo
erectus (Fleagle et al. 2008). At that time in 1967, researches faced a difficult time establishing an
accurate age of these remains due in part to the confines of technology. The team at this time
decided to use a rather controversial method that looked at radiometric dates on shells from a Nile
oyster (Etheria elliptica) bank

My Career Story Interview, Jordan Scheller
The career I choose to do my Career Story Interview, which I m interested in doing, was Web
Developer. Technically, the person that I interview, Jordan Scheller, is officially a Software
Developer, but he creates/maintains websites which is what Web Developers do. So to be
completely clear, the career I will be investigating is Web Developer.
With that out of the way, let s talk about everything that has to do with a Web Developer. According
to a website called O*NET, the Strong Interest Inventory for this job is CIR, Conventional,
Investigative and Realistic. Conventional is ranked number one based on the nature to which
programming happens. In programming, you know where you start and where you end. You
might think you have a large amount of freedom to get to the endpoint, but in reality there only a
few, if not just one way of solving the problem. So in the job, it s the repetition of finding the
problem, identifying the end, and following the set path to which solves the problem.
Investigative is second on the list and this deals with the ever evolving principle of the job. Since
programming is relatively new, the area is evolving at an incredible pace and you must keep up
with it. You must learn the new information, master it, and then finish your project before anyone
else does. The final interest is Realistic and it relates to the atmosphere of the work environment.
You do not work on theoretical ideas; you work on projects that deals with people s interactions in

Frederic Douglass Essay
The United States of America is a country that was founded on the basic principles of freedom
and liberty. This often leaves it with a reputation as a land full of hope, where anything is
possible as long as one is willing to work hard for it. Unfortunately, this idea is not always true.
Frederick Douglas, who was born a slave, did not have the privelege of this aforementioned
freedom, liberty, and social mobility. Even though he was an exceptionally bright man, he was
enslavedand persecuted because of his skin color. His life represents both the failure and success of
the American dream, with the failure being the extremely more dominant, because of the color of
his skin.

(Quote where he says he felt freedom) Feeling this yearnig from freedom at such a young age
shows that being free was a god given right or quot;Law of nature quot;, as Jefferson so eloquently
stated in the Declaration of Independence. With all of this is mind it is very clear Douglass being
born in to slavery was a deifinite failure of the American Dream.
amp;#9;In the Declaration of Independence one of the most famous portions goes as follows:
quot;We hold these truths to be self evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed
to certain unailiable rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of happiness. quot;
This pursuit of happiness is a very important part of the American dream, for it is the result of all
the rights that were layed out. By being alloted these rights a person is free to pursue happiness in
their life, whatever happiness may be to them.
amp;#9;It is very ironic that when Douglass finally got his first taste of freedom he had to be
deceptive in sneaking away from his owner, just as the writers of the constution were deceptive
in their defintion of quot;man quot;. Once Douglass escaped from slavery he was surprised to
find that the north also a very racist place. Not only did the majority of northern whites still feel
that blacks were inferiour, New York was full of people looking to turn in fugitive slaves. Frederick
also found that his abolitionist friends were not free from this prejudice. At gatherings

The Biggest Tax Secret
Advisors who work on commissions can t help but favor their own investment products, but these
might not be the best fit for your needs. If your tax advisor doesn t get to know your business and
financial goals, it s likely that he or she will miss certain business opportunities and tax deductions.
The tax code is complicated, so you can t count on a generic financial advisor, harried accountant
or basic tax preparer to know every deduction for which you qualify.
Every tax deduction is better than found money. If you find $100 on the street, you owe taxes on
that money. If your tax advisor saves you $100, then it s yours to spend. Consider the following
situations where an experienced tax advisor is crucial:
Transferring wealth and the family business without paying exorbitant inheritance taxes
Settling tax debt from previous years
Use pretax money to fund retirement plans
Converting nontaxable retirement plans to taxable or Roth plans to eliminate taxes on distributions
after retiring
Planning strategies for gifts, estates and trusts
Achieving philanthropic goals while providing tax advantages
Curating a personalized tax plan
Choosing the right business entity for tax advantages
Using insurance to build tax free wealth

  • 2. Advantages And Disadvantages Of Bananas deforestation and unhealthy soil cause erosion, and the runoff causes frequent flooding and damage from sedimentation. In a 1997 study done off the coast of Costa Rica, it was discovered that 60 percent of the coral reefs in Cahuita National Park had been severely damaged due to runoff from coastal bananaplantations (Cohen, 2009). Furthermore, bananas are grown as a mono culture, where all the bananas on a plantation are genetically identical. Although this makes crops easy to manage, these bananas face an increased risk of being wiped out by a single type of pest, fungi or disease, and will all be severely attacked if the pests develop resistance to pesticides. In order to prevent this from happening even more chemicals are used. It is estimated that 30 kilograms of pesticides are used per hectare per year on a banana plantation, whereas only 2.7 kilograms are used for the average European cereal crop (Cohen, 2009). The banana field workers (also called bananeros ), often untrained, and marginalized workers, lack sufficient precautionary instructions or protective equipments. According to Ivan Clavijos, an ex conventional banana producer, despite wearing masks, goggles, and gloves, chemical gases can still get absorbed in the workers clothes, and through sweats will enter the body, blood, and liver via pores on the skin, producing ammonia in the blood, or can result in loss of sight, hearing, or sterility, which he himself and many people he knows who work in banana ... • 4. African American Culture in a Modern American Dominant... African American Culture in a Modern American Dominant Sociology Intro to Sociology September 3, 2010 Janice Caparro African American culture in the United States refers to the cultural contributions of Americans African descent to the culture of the United States, either as part of or distinct from American culture. The distinct identity of African Americanculture is rooted in the historical experience of the African American people. The culture is both distinct and enormously influential to American culture as a whole. African American culture is rooted in Africa. It is a blend of chiefly sub Saharan African and Sahelean cultures. Although slavery greatly restricted the ability of Americans of African descent to practice their ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The folktales provided African Americans the opportunity to inspire and educate one another. Examples of African American folktales include trickster tales of Br er Rabbit and heroic tales such as that of John Henry. The Uncle Remus stories by Joel Chandler Harris helped to bring African American folk tales into mainstream adoption. Harris did not appreciate the complexity of the stories nor their potential for a lasting impact on society. The legacy of the African American oral tradition manifests in diverse forms. African American preachers tend to perform rather than simply speak. The emotion of the subject is carried through the speaker s tone, volume, and movement, which tend to mirror the rising action, climax, and descending action of the sermon. Often song, dance, verse, and structured pauses are placed throughout the sermon. Call and response is another pervasive element of the African American oral tradition. It manifests in worship in what is commonly referred to as the amen corner. In direct contrast to recent tradition in other American and Western cultures, it is an acceptable and common audience reaction to interrupt and affirm the speaker. This pattern of interaction is also in evidence in music, particularly in blues and jazz forms. Hyperbolic and provocative, even incendiary, rhetoric is another aspect of African American oral tradition often evident in the pulpit in a tradition ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 5. Why Do You Want To Participate In The Ironbound Initiative... I am currently a member and the treasurer for the Ironbound Initiative. I am also involved with the Patient Partnership program as a First Year representative and am the director for the Mini Med Program at NJMS. In addition, I am a member of the All E.A.R.S Program at NJMS and I sing in the Vocal Chords Acapella Group. 2.Why do you want to participate in this global health trip? What are your goals, both personally and for the two week trip as well as after the trip? Through my participation in the Ironbound Initiative I have come to recognize the significant health disparities and lack of access to care in the Portuguese and Brazilian communities in New Jersey. Therefore, I hope that through this trip I will gain experiences and... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... What do you think will be your greatest challenge? On this trip, I anticipate communicating with people of a different culture may be a challenge. Although I do not speak Brazilian Portuguese, I know that we will have a bilingual interpreter with us as well as NJMS students who speak both languages and thus, I know that the language barrier will not be a big challenge. More than the language, I want to be contentious on this trip regarding acknowledging my privileges and that I need to understand the Brazilian approach to medicine in the context of their culture as well as the resources available to them. Furthermore, I understand that I have limited knowledge and skills as a first year medical student and so can only provide basic medical services at this time. Therefore, I am most apprehensive about effectively understanding and communicating with the Brazilian community and recognizing that currently I am only able to provide a limited amount of aid to these communities. 4.How do you plan on financially supporting this endeavor? (Are you willing to fundraise as a team, as well as apply to the available scholarships?) I fully intend to apply to any available scholarships in order to fund this trip. I am also looking forward to working with other students going on this trip in order to organize fundraisers such as bake sales and raffles. • 7. Positive And Negative Effects Of Globalization Globalization affected the economy in South Asia, specifically Bangladesh, Philippines, and Afghanistan, in both good ways and bad ways. Bangladesh is one of the countries who have been affected negatively. The Bangladesh government should enforce the labor law in Bangladesh. The Philippines has been impacted positively, however they should still work on business freedom. Afghanistan has also been impacted negatively, and the government should inaugurate a free educational program for the struggling families. Bangladesh was impacted negatively by Globalization. Bangladesh has been known to have had incidents where workers have lost lives due to the poor labor conditions they were working upon. Workers are told to work long shifts every day, receiving very little pay for the work that they did. In the article titled Factory Collapses in Bangladesh , by The Institute for Global Labour and Human Rights, It states how the standard shift for a worker is 13 14 ВЅ hours. This adds up to 90 100 hours/week, with only 2 days off in the entire month. The money that the workers received ranged from 12 22 cents/hour, depending on the age of the worker. This means that Globalization caused the factories to move to countries like Bangladesh to have more workers working for longer periods of time and pay them as little money as possible. Bangladesh has one of the most lowest wages in the world, Working in the factories means making less money because the owners ignore the laws. Many of ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The North American plate edge was located farther east during the Mesozoic era. However subduction created microcontinents and microplates which shifted the plate edge westward. The first cascade volcanoes erupted 42 million years ago (Ma) forming the older western cascades. It was orientated northwest but rotated clockwise to become the north south that it is today. Because of the rotation fissured appeared on the east and lots of eruptions occurred on the Columbia River basalt 17 Ma.Subduction and volcanism continued for 25 million years in the older Cascade Range. A major eruption melting the ice and snow could send debris flows, pyroclastic flows, and lahars towards Puget Sound and the Seattle/Tacoma metropolitan area. Volcanic hazard mapping has identified areas in the park that could be affected in the future by debris flows, lahars, pyroclastic flows and surges, lava flows, volcanic projectiles, tephra falls, and lateral blasts. Longmire Village and the Cougar Rock, Ohanapecosh, White River, Ipsut Creek, and Sunshine Point campgrounds are all vulnerable to these hazards. Monitoring of volcanic activity is on going. There is a need for an emergency response plan to address these hazards. The reaction between groundwater and rising gas and steam from the underlying magmatic system creates zones of hydrothermally altered rock. Fumeroles at the summit of the volcano are one result of this reaction. Another result is the largest volcanic ice cave system in the world at the summit of Mount Rainier. Earthquakes are also geologic hazards associated with Mount Rainier. Earthquakes precede a volcanic eruption although not every earthquake means an eruption is imminent. Other than Mt. St. Helens, Mount Rainier is the mos (Graham)t seismically active volcano in the Cascades. The destruction of cryptobiotic soils and general soil erosion by human impacts are important issues. A ... • 9. Zen and the Art of William Shakespeare Essay Zen and the Art of Shakespeare Like all Buddhism, Zen is a means by which one can achieve Buddha consciousness, or in effect total consciousness. Total consciousness means being aware of the true self and its role in regard to the infinite cosmos of all existence. This awareness allows one insight into or perhaps understanding of the Tao, the essential singularity to which all things belong. Understanding the Tao, for Taoists and Zen Buddhists alike, is the equivalentof Nirvana, loosely described as the utmost fulfillment of one s existence. With all of it s lofty, mystical terms and ideas, Zen Buddhism can seem very hard to talk about much less understand and follow. The beauty of Zen, though, is its practicality,... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... In reality, paradise exists under man s nose, and in it man plays the role of God and Satan. Zen suggests that we have no good reason to escape this reality, and furthermore it is absurd to think that we really can. Ultimately, living in Zen is to live extemporaneously. When one truly lives in Zen there is no equivocation or deliberation. There is only action. Zen is the ever present guiding force in the life of an individual who adheres only to living. Zen is far away from the individual who abides whether in thought or deed, in his own disillusions. In The Tempest, Prospero s final scene is the most Zen like expression in all of Shakespeare. By virtue of his spells and charms, Prospero has his enemies right where he wants them. Though with their high wrongs I am struck to th quick, he says. Yet with my nobler reason gainst my fury do I take part. The rarer action is in virtue than in vengeance. They being penitent, the sole drift of my purpose doth extend not a frown further. (Tempest, V.i.20 30) Prospero proceeds to carry out his act of reconciliation by forgiving his enemies and freeing his slaves. These acts, though admirable from a moral standpoint are not necessarily expressions of Zen. Prospero s Zen is expressed in: But this rough magic I do here abjure . . . . . I ll break my staff, bury it certain fathoms in the earth, and deeper than did ever plummet sound I ll drown my book. (Tempest.V.i.51 57) He has reached some state of ... The story takes place when Fulghum, the author, is left to babysit eighty children seven to ten years old, in the church social hall. He decides to organize a game called Giants, Wizards, and Dwarfs to keep the kids entertained and involve some of their intellectual decision making skills. As the game reached its climax, Fulghum yelled at the children to decide whether they were a giant, wizard, or dwarf. While the groups frenzied and consulted, a little girl emerged from the crowd and asked Fulghum, Where do the Mermaids stand? In shock of the girl s response, Fulghum took a long pause to think and in the end he decided that the Mermaids stands next to the king, which was Fulghum himself. The meaning of this quote is that there will be someone, somewhere, who doesn t accept the norms and is defined by their category. The mermaid the author refers to in the quote would be the little girl and how she was that one person who wasn t afraid to be different. To add on, those who are different, tend to stand out among the others. I chose to analyze this quote because I kind of relate to the girl in the quote. Just like the girl or mermaid, people (and myself) label me as out of the norm because I have a weird sense of humor. In conclusion, being different isn t so ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 12. John Milton Cage Influence On Society The classical period was a revolutionary start of music for decades to come. Many composers prior to the 1920s gained their fame and fortune through music and their creativity in composing. John Milton Cage, Jr. was born in Los Angeles on September 5th in 1912. It is also a movie produced in 1990 also written by Tom Stoppard. The play and the movie follow these two minor characters adventures on and off the set of Shakespeare s Hamlet. Stoppard takes this unique perspective to bring up some interesting topics that were only a small part of Hamlet. The major theme is the idea of fate vs free will. Do these characters exhibit free will? Or are they simply taken along for the ride as higher powers use them for their own bidding? The progressive movement was a reform movement made to return control of the government to the people, to get economic opportunities, and to correct injustices in American life. The progressive movement was useful because it improved the political, social, and economics of America. The movement is based on four major objectives, protect social welfare, promote moral improvements, create economic reform and foster efficiency. Reformers tried to promote social welfare by forming protestant movements for example The Social Gospel was the most prominent in the late 19th century and early 20th century. The movement relates Christian principles to social problems, especially poverty, inequality, liquor, bad hygiene, and crime. Where Have I Been: Spatial Cognition and Navigation , and growing in my comprehension of the more complex elements of the nervous system, the development of an informed discussion of human perception has become possible. The formation of cognitive maps, which serve as internal representations of the world, are dependent upon the human capacities for vision and visual perception (1). The concept of change blindness has been addressed over the course of nearly half a century, with increasing focus on the subject throughout the past five years (3). Although biologists, psychologists, and philosophers have yet to resolve definitively the paradox of looking without seeing, the investigation of each theory on the matter yields deeper insight into visual perception and sight as well as a decreasingly incorrect understanding of those components of the nervous system, which are crucial for visual cognition. Under normal viewing conditions, changes produce transient signals that can draw attention. Change blindness studies are designed to eliminate or block these transient signals by inserting a visual disruption when the change occurs (3). Flicker Paradigm studies examine the occurrence of change blindness and attempt to explain the inability to not see that which is directly in front of our eyes. The Flicker Paradigm demonstrates the essentiality of attention in the process of seeing (4). The alternation of an object and a modified version of that same object is interrupted by millisecond flashes of blank space. Subjects are then asked to report changes in the images. The American College of Sports Medicine did a study, where two thousand physicians participated to see whether weight trainingaffected a child s joints and growth plates (Wilson). They concluded that if done correctly the exercise will have no risk on a child s growing development. • 24. Persuasive Essay On Texting While Driving Most people believe that only texting is harmful while driving, but talking on the phone may be just as harmful. While most believe that talking on a cellular device is harmless, it is in fact, a distraction. The roads would be a much safer place for drivers if the amount of distractions were limited. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reveals that there are several reasons why talking on the phone while driving should be illegal in all states. One of these reasons is that car accidents are one of the most prevalent causes of death in the United States; and distraction is the number one cause of car accidents (Currin). Many people think that as long as you talk on the phone using a hands free device, it is perfectly safe. While many people agree with this, that is not the case. It is not the act of driving with only one hand that is the problem, but it is that the driver must multitask when processing the information that the caller is saying. This is especially a concern with emotional conversations (Svenson and Patten 182). Some drivers believe that as long as you keep your eyes on the road, it is fine to answer and make phone calls while driving. This point is not valid, because distraction can be anything averting concentration, not just looking away from the path of travel (Svenson and Patten 182). Drivers must become more aware of this problem, especially in our advancing technological age. Many people may suggest that conversing with a passenger poses the same risks as talking on the phone. This is a valid point, but David Strayer, a cognitive scientist at the University of Utah, agues that having a passenger in the vehicle actually promotes safer driving since there are four eyes on the road instead of only two. Adams writes that Strayer says that passengers tend to stop talking when the demands of driving increase. The helpfulness of having another set of eyes in the vehicle with the driver does not carry over with teenaged driving (Adams). Some might say that as long as the person operating the vehicle is a good driver, his driving skills should not be affected by talking on the phone while driving. An example of this practice in the real world involves analyzing corn trade in North America. This can cause individuals to be targeted for high medical billings. Without a job and health insurance it is impossible to pay the medical bills. The family found it only financially reasonable to get a divorce to supply the child his medical needs. Where does the blame lie? I believe the blame lies with corporate greed because a corporation is defined as a profit making institution. Therefore if an individual is costing the company more money than what they are worth the company will terminate the employee. The insurance company is releasing medical information to the corporation on employees and their family members. Because of the insurance company doing so, the corporation terminated the employee and he was unable to get another job and to insure his family. Corporations have too much access to their employee s medical situations. What is the solution? Although this child s medical bills were outrageously expensive, the corporation should not have the authority to terminate the employee. So to solve this the FMLA should begin when insurance becomes effective. So when a situation occurs like my example, the family is not left with the burden of losing a job, losing health insurance, and breaking up their home in order to keep their family out of a financial burden. Insurance should be based on classifications for the entire state and that no one individual should or can be targeted as causing the increase of premiums to any one individual ... • 32. Sports Influence On American Culture Anyone who has ever been in America does not need to be there long to realize how much of an impact sports have on American culture. They are everywhere. Nearly every child has played on a sports team at least once in their life, even if it was only when they were in kindergarten. As adults, sports pop up everywhere: television, radio, newspapers for local, and the news channel on the TV. Trying to live a life completely without the influence of sports proves to become nearly impossible. So what type of influence do sports really have on people? To start with, many people would agree that sports have long term impacts when it comes to personality. The majority of sports have teams. Even individual sports such as track, swimming, and gymnastics have team competitions. Successfully working in a team environment helps in work environments. According to Kevin Kniffin, a professor who specializes in Management, Organizational Behavior, and Sports Analytics, people who participated in sports make more ideal candidates for jobs. Hiring managers expect former student athletes (compared with people who participated in other popular extracurriculars) to have more self confidence, self respect and leadership; actual measures of behavior in a sample of people who had graduated from high school more than five decades earlier showed those expectations proved accurate. • 33. Frontal Lobe Research Paper The Brain s Frontal Lobes Actions The frontal lobe and the following other parts of the frontal lobe section of the brain have many functions. The frontal lobe part of the brain connects to many other structural parts of the brain, connected to mini sections of which creates different effects to the lobe. Which are the prefrontal cortex, orbitofrontal cortex, primary motor cortex, and premotor cortex. The prefrontal cortex is located within the frontal lobe, but it takes up the majority of the lobe. The function of the prefrontal cortex is the crucial performance, and skill it provides within the brain which requires intelligence. The brain is located in many different subjects, such as a human, mammal, and animal. When discussing the prefrontal cortex, it s known to many that it s larger in certain primates and it tends to be that way but not in mammals. It is also known to be larger in the human brain compared to other primates brains. The reason of this is because of the high amount of the level planning which is correlated by the members that have different species. Throughout the journey of reading this book, I was deeply devoted to learning everything I could about the characters, and their unique personalities, the plot, the imagery, and the overall theme of the book. This book is about a 30 year old man named Charlie Gordon. In the book, the reader follows him through life while he is navigating his circumstances of being born with a brain defect. This brain defect causes Charlie to have an incredibly low IQ, and it holds him back from maturing when he is supposed to. But then, a possible miracle is placed at his feet. Some of the characters in this book exemplify the type of people who break the law, and I think it is important to focus on them because these are the people who are responsible for so many of the world s problems. First, I will be discussing Charlie s own parents. As children, we expect our parents to be the ones who are always there, the people that have your back, and the people who will love until the end of time. However, for a lot of children this is not the case. And in Charlie s life, this was far from reality. His parents were embarrassed and disgusted by him and his mental disability. They were ashamed. The main culprit was his mother. His mother would yell at him, treat him like nothing, and just pretend that he didn t have feelings and that he wasn t her son. For instance: Now he had a clear picture of Charlie s mother, screaming at him, holding a leather belt in her hand, and his father trying to hold her back (112). This example shows how his mother felt about him, how his father reacted, and how his mother chose to take it out on Charlie: abuse. Father and Son Relationship in William Shakespeare s Henry IV and V Shakespeare deals with a parent child relationship in the historical plays of Henry IV Parts One and Two in the characters of Henry Bullingsworth (Henry IV) and his son Hal (Prince of Wales, later Henry V). The fact stands clear in the development of the son, Hal: the son s success in life is not dependent on his relationship to his father politically, but success is demonstrated when there is a realization of both parties on the level of parental love. And perhaps it may be stated tritely: like father, like son. Hal is coping with not having a father figure, and acting perhaps as his father would. Perhaps this initial confrontation could be a Cat in the Cradle theme, where the father suddenly realizes that his boy is just like me, my boy is just like me . He lists specific failures that he sees in Hal s life and reactions to the situation. They specifically had control over the decision of who goes to Heaven and who goes to Hell therefore creating a sort of fear amongst people who believed that their souls were the most important thing they had and that the only way for their souls to go Heaven was through the church. For this reason exactly, some religious figures started to take advantage of their position knowing how devoted people were to the church. There maybe a possibly that there are more base in the acidic solutions. This would related to the outcome of the percent error to be negative. If there was less base than the actually amount than the titration calculation would be lower. Second potential error could be some incorrect measurement on the buret for base solution volume. Finally I inserted a story showing compound making as an important skill for skalds, and how it is equally important in OE. Perhaps the most quoted definition of the term kenning is that by Georg Paul Rudolf Meissner in Die Kenningar der Skalden (1921: 2), Die einfache Kenning ist also ein zweigliedriger Ersatz fГјr ein Substantiv der gewГ¶hnlichen Rede , with an addition wesentlich fГјr die Kenning ist, dass sie als Ersatz empfunden wird (12). Conventional is ranked number one based on the nature to which programming happens. In programming, you know where you start and where you end. You might think you have a large amount of freedom to get to the endpoint, but in reality there only a few, if not just one way of solving the problem.
